| All right, welcome back So, one of the things, you know, I've been talking about Christianity and how that Christianity is the number one threat to the left. | ||

| They say it's racist white people, but it's all ultimately going to come down to Christianity. | ||
| Because it is written in the Bible that Christians will be tormented, Christians will be attacked, and we're getting to that point. | ||
| Another example is Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib wanting to go to Israel. | ||
| Now, even if you believe the Bible, or even if you don't believe the Bible, but even in the Bible it talks about those who curse Israel will be cursed. | ||
| These two curse Israel. | ||
| They do. They're anti-Semitic. | ||
| They're not even hiding it. | ||
| It's no secret. They don't want the United States to be an ally with Israel because they want They want people to be, you know, they want people to give up on it. | ||

| My colleague and I are not the only ones who are being denied the right to see for ourselves the reality on the ground on the West Bank. | ||
| The Netanyahu government, for example, is currently trying to deport Omar Shakir, a human rights worker, with Human Rights Watch, because he has reported on human rights conditions in the West Bank and Gaza. | ||
| Last year, the Netanyahu government refused entry to American citizen Catherine Frank and my friend, Vince Warren, who had arrived on a human rights mission. | ||
| All of these actions do nothing to bring us closer to peace. | ||
| In fact, they do the opposite. | ||
| They maintain the occupation and prevent a solution to the conflict. | ||
| Fortunately, we in the United States have a constructive role to play. | ||
| We give Israel more than three million dollars in aid every year. | ||
| This is predicated on there being an important ally in the region and the only democracy in the Middle East. | ||
| But denying visit to duly elected members of Congress is not consistent with being an ally and denying millions of people freedom of movement or expression or self-determination is not consistent with being a democracy. | ||
| We must be asking, as Israel's ally, the Netanyahu government stop the expansion of settlements on Palestinian land and ensure full rights for Palestinians if we are to give them aid. | ||
| These are not just my views. | ||
| These are the views held by the range of experts, peace advocates on this issue. | ||
| We know Donald Trump would love nothing more than to use this issue to pit Muslims and Jewish Americans against each other. | ||
| The Muslim community and the Jewish community are being othered. | ||
| And made into the boogeyman by this administration. | ||
| But as we will hear today, people of all different faiths are coming together to speak up against the status quo in the region. | ||
| I'm grateful for the solidarity shown by so many of my colleagues in Congress. | ||
| I understand and appreciate the calls from members to avoid traveling to Israel until Rashida and I are allowed to go without condition. | ||
| But it is my belief that as legislators we have an obligation to see the reality there for ourselves. | ||
| We have a responsibility to conduct oversight Over our government's foreign policy and what happens with the millions of dollars we send in aid. | ||
| So I would encourage my colleagues to visit. | ||
| Meet with the people we were going to meet with. | ||
| See the things we were going to see. | ||

| Today, Reps Omar and Plaskat and I were supposed to be on a congressional trip and delegation to the Palestine and Israel. | ||
| And such delegations are common occurrence for members of Congress. | ||
| Earlier this month, in fact, 71 other members of Congress traveled to Israel, seemingly without incident. | ||
| What is not common occurrence is members of Congress being barred from entering a country on these fact-finding missions unless they agree to strict set of rules curtailing their rights or being required to submit their itineraries for stop-by-stop pre-approval. | ||
| History does have a habit of repeating itself. | ||
| I learned this week that a former member of Congress, Congressman Charles C. Diggs, Jr., Was denied entry into apartheid South Africa in 1972. | ||
| He was also the representative for the 13th congressional district in Michigan. | ||
| I was born and raised in the beautiful Detroit where many of my African-American teachers taught me about the realities of oppression and justice and the need to speak up and take action. | ||
| Growing up in a city that has been at the center of many social justice movements for civil rights, labor rights, and equality, and absorbing those lessons has shaped who I am today and drives me to push for peace and justice for the Palestinian and Israeli people. | ||
| As a young girl visiting Palestine to see my grandparents and extended family, I watched as my mother had to go through dehumanizing checkpoints. | ||

| We're agreeing and we're disagreeing at the same time, which is absolutely good. | ||
| I really enjoy it. So let's get into this. | ||
| Tell us what you think the state of Roe v. | ||
| Wade is today. It's not a question of what I think. | ||
| It's just a question of fact. | ||
| When Roe was passed by the then majority of the Supreme Court, it included... | ||
| It's on sort of cancellation. | ||
| Because there's a line in there, a paragraph, in which Blackmun, who authored it for the majority, he said the following. | ||
| If the suggestion of personhood be established, then the complainant's case, Roe's case, collapses. | ||
| See? Gone. | ||
| It's gone. Personhood Simply means you're an individual human being. | ||
| And without having to consult the Supreme Court, we don't need to go there. | ||
| Without having to talk to judges and lawyers, it doesn't matter. | ||
| The first thing that we now know from our science is that from the moment of conception, all the identifiers of humanity are present. | ||
| Right from the moment of conception. | ||
| What we also know is not only are the markers of humanity present, but the DNA itself can be distinguished as the DNA of that particular individual, not anybody else's DNA. That means that you know that that's an individual human being. | ||
| Exactly what Blackmun said in the decision, and all the parties to the case agreed to this. | ||
| Do you know why they agreed to it? | ||
| Because in the Constitution of the United States, it says that no person shall be deprived of life, liberty, or property without due process. | ||
| And it also says that all people are entitled to equal protection of the law. | ||
| And in the 14th Amendment, it tells the governors and everybody else who's in law enforcement in all the states that no law shall be made, you shall not make or enforce any law Any law that withdraws from any person the equal protection of the law. | ||
| That's why the word person was so important. | ||
| And Blackmun actually said that they didn't ever apply this word To the class of persons that includes nascent children, who are presumptively human because of their parents, right? | ||
| Since their parents are human, you would assume that they're human. | ||
| And that was even true at the time. | ||
| Black men didn't pay attention to it, but even without the science, the presumption of humanity was on the side of the child, right? | ||
| And we'll talk about that in a second. | ||
| But he also said the Constitution doesn't use the word, doesn't apply the word to the class of people that includes nascent children in the womb. | ||
| There's nothing like it. So we get to say they're not people. | ||
| But that was a lie. | ||
| Or at least it was an error. | ||
| The lawyers would say that was an error. | ||
| Why was it an error? Because in Article 1, Section 2, I think it's Paragraph 3 of the Constitution, When they're talking about how you will determine the size of population that will then decide how many representatives each state gets in the House of Representatives, they said that you would count the whole number of free persons, all Indians not taxed, and what? | ||
| Save Indians, except for Indians not taxed. | ||
| And then you would add to that what? | ||
| Remember this famous clause? | ||
| Everybody knows this clause. Three-fifths Of all other persons. | ||
| Now, of course, a lot of people who don't bother to sit down and ponder it, they have been prey to the law. | ||
| Oh, that's racist. They're telling black people three-fifths of a person. | ||
| No! That was to distract you from the simple, clear point. | ||
| They didn't say blacks were three-fifths of a person. | ||
| They said each black, enslaved black in the slave states would be counted as one whole person. | ||
| And then you would take the whole number of those persons and reduce it. | ||
| By two-fifths. Why? | ||
| Had nothing to do with black people. | ||
| Had everything to do with making sure the slave states didn't get enough power based on their enslaved population to spread slavery throughout the Union and to prevent people from resisting it. | ||
| So all the silly arguments made about that clause, so sick, so stupid. | ||
| And they take the eyes off the ball that the Constitution of the United States, though John C. Calhoun was out there writing, no, they're not human, they're not this, they're not that. | ||
| The Constitution applied the word person to enslaved blacks. | ||
| And enslaved blacks were what? | ||
| Presumptively human, just like the nascent child in the womb. | ||
| But their humanity was a controversy for some people. | ||
| They wanted to say, that's not human. | ||
| Or they wanted to say, not quite human enough for me. | ||
| And the Constitution says, sorry, this word applies to enslaved blacks. | ||
| And if it was applied to enslaved blacks, then it certainly applies to the nascent children in the womb. | ||
| Now, that was true when they made the stupid decision. | ||
| Anybody could have thought it through. | ||
| Blackman didn't bother to take account of it. | ||
| See? Why? I don't know. | ||
| You'd have to ask him. | ||
| But the simple fact is that right now the science has come out and affirmed that presumption. | ||
| You can actually prove scientifically that from the moment of conception each and every human being is a person identifiable as such based on our understanding of the rational nature of humanity. | ||
| Right? That's the other addendum in Webster's original definition of the person. | ||
| It included possessed of a rational nature. | ||
| Well, DNA is that rational nature. | ||
| And because we can understand it rationally, we can identify from the moment of conception, you know, each person is human and each person is therefore an individual. | ||
| They have particular characteristics nobody else has. | ||
| Those things having been proven... | ||
| I'm wondering why do we have to go back to the Supreme Court? | ||
| Because in the decision itself it said if the suggestion of person would be established. | ||
| It's more than established. | ||
| It's scientifically proven. | ||
| And what is more, the error that was made by black men, not examining and thinking through the use of the word person as it applied to enslaved blacks, that clinches it. | ||
| Because there's even Kavanaugh, Gorsuch, all these people who like thinking about strict construction and logic and reason. | ||
| They're bound by the fact that Blackmun erred. | ||
| He did not pay attention to the terms of the Constitution. | ||
| Final point. That means Roe's gone. | ||
| But if Roe's gone, what kicks in automatically? | ||
| It was actually always there. | ||
| I always made this argument because it was true all the time. | ||
| Because once you know that that's a person in the womb, you don't get to kill it. | ||
| Because no matter what its condition, no matter how weak it is, no matter how helpless it is, no matter if other people despise what it looks like, what it is or isn't, Every single person is entitled to be respected in their life. | ||
| No other person gets to take it just because a person is in their way or inconvenient or expensive. | ||
| You don't get to kill people for those reasons. | ||
| You don't get to do this nice little socialist-style calculus and then determine that we need to remove six billion human beings so we can all live. | ||
| Live happily as the servants of Bill Gates and the other elites who think that's all we're worth. | ||
| Because we have worth in the sight of God, it doesn't matter that they think we're worthless. | ||
| But, and here's the problem, if you're sitting there thinking, well, that doesn't apply to me, I don't care what happens to that babe. | ||
| Well, in the whole history of the world, There was only one government premised on the equality of all human beings. | ||
| And that's the government of the United States. | ||
| Don't go there honored in the breach. | ||
| They had slaves. They did this, of course. | ||
| They were human at the time. | ||
| Filled with all the foibles and sins and injustices of humanity. | ||
| But guess what? Acknowledging that truth made it possible, generation after generation, for people of goodwill and courage who believed in God-endowed rights, To stand for those rights and fight for those rights until we defeated the understanding that just because you have the power, you get to kill other people. | ||
| Guess who's reintroducing that now? | ||
| All the people who are promoting abortion. | ||
| I call them deathocrats. And you think that's the same as Democrats, but deathocrats means anybody. | ||

| You're out there saying it's okay for the stronger person to kill the weak and helpless person, and then you think that we're going to be too stupid to figure out that that puts all the say in the hands of the powerful people. | ||
