| It means that we're asking the right questions to determine Why things don't make sense. | ||

| The left is continuing to push them where you can lose your kid in the United States of America via Child Protective Services if you're not being a good parent. | ||
| But if you come across the border illegally, you nearly drown the kid to death, you have them get pricked with barbed wire and now cut and bleeding out, probably getting an infection from the dirty water now, and this is just totally normal, totally accepted. | ||
| We just do this. And the Democrats say, nothing to see here. | ||
| No crisis here. | ||
| So that's just one level of the double standard and the hypocrisy and the total madness. | ||
| And then they come here, they're unvaccinated, they spread diseases in this country, and then they blame somebody that wants pro-choice when it comes to vaccines. | ||

| That is, unless it was so bad in the countries that they came from that it made more sense for them to risk their lives and put their children in imminent harm to get out of their countries And they come to the United States of America. | ||
| And then you have to ask, well, why are they coming to the United States of America? | ||
| What motivates that? | ||
| They've been told to come here. | ||
| They've been directed to come here. | ||
| They've been told they'll get payouts. | ||

| And it basically highlights how the city of Seattle has turned into, for a lot of people, an impoverished, hellhole, third-world country-type situation. | ||
| And again, so it's from an ABC affiliate, Como News, ABC4, Seattle is Dead, is the name of that documentary. | ||
| Really eye-opening stuff. It's an hour long. | ||
| And, you know, there's this whole image of Seattle. | ||
| You know, oh, it's a liberal bastion. | ||
| Oh, it's so great. | ||
| Oh, you know, they've got it all figured out. | ||
| There's no homelessness. It's all clean. | ||
| It's all... No, no, folks. | ||
| No, it's not. It's not. | ||
| And so that goes to show you... | ||

| So Joey Gibson joins me to talk about what's happening in Portland, though, where they're having a different type of issue. | ||
| This story comes out of the Gateway Pundit, also reported by KOIN News. | ||
| Portland crisis with 120 vacancies. | ||
| Only three out of 60 applicants passed police background checks. | ||
| So they have all these vacancies in Portland Police Department. | ||
| They can't even fill it because, well, let's just say the people applying look like they're probably leftist activists. | ||
| And so you have that on top of the fact that, you know, so let me just bring Joey in and ask him this. | ||
| So, Joey, you're dealing with this on the boots-on-the-ground level. | ||
| You've dealt with Portland police, other aspects of the Portland local government. | ||
| What do you think is going on with this police crisis, and where do you see it going? | ||
| Oh, it's really simple what's happening. | ||
| Basically, no one wants to be a police officer in Portland, Oregon, because they don't want to be Dealing with the disrespect that you get both culturally from the people, from the protesters. | ||
| The activist community has a lot of hatred towards the police. | ||
| That's part of their rhetoric. But even more so than that, they have a police commissioner who will throw any of them under the bus. | ||
| Mayor Ted Wheeler, who is the police commissioner, has already proved it. | ||
| A man who he put in charge to communicate with me as much as they possibly can because the mayor wanted information from me and where I'm going to be and how many people I'm going to have in his city, which you think is important information. | ||
| And the second that the public finds out about that, he throws him under the bus and pretends like he had nothing to do with it. | ||
| And so all the police officers know exactly what Ted Wheeler did to this Sergeant Neha. | ||
| And so They've all lost faith in the mayor a long time ago and they understand that he will not back the police officers at all. | ||
| And I read this story and it tells me exactly what you're saying. | ||
| Nobody wants to be police anymore because... | ||
| Their orders don't allow them to do their job. | ||
| They're disrespected by all these activists, leftists, Antifa people up there. | ||
| The one time that they were able to do their job, they got cheered along, and it was effective, but it seems like that was the only time when the national eye was actually on Portland. | ||
| Every other time, it seems to me that they pretty much just stand down or let these violent leftists get away with anything. | ||
| So what do you think happens from here? | ||
| I mean, now it appears, I mean... | ||
| You know, we're only left to assume why these people are failing the background checks. | ||
| I mean, they give us some information. | ||
| But, I mean, are these leftist activists trying to infiltrate the police? | ||
| I mean, what happens with the Portland police moving forward? | ||
| You know, I have no idea. | ||
| That's a really good question. | ||
| I think that what they've been trying to do in Portland, and they do this in a lot of the cities, is they want to make it as hard as possible for police officers to enforce the law, whether it be, you know, it can be anything from drugs all the way to the activists blocking the streets. | ||
| And a lot of times, they have really strong gun control in these areas, too. | ||
| So they're trying to make it so the police can't do their job. | ||
| They're trying to make it so that law-abiding citizens can't protect themselves with firearms. | ||
| So they're slowly going more towards anarchy. | ||
| And when that happens, then people are going to be begging for a bigger government. | ||
| And I think that's exactly what they're trying to do. | ||
| Unfortunately, just like you look at Seattle, San Francisco is really bad. | ||
| Portland, you look at some of these big cities. | ||
| Just because you're a Democrat, it doesn't mean you're going to ruin your city. | ||
| But if you're a Democrat who's constantly pushing for bigger government to control every single aspect of your life and to stifle capitalism as much as you can, like they do in Portland, basically making it as hard as possible just to be a landlord. | ||
| Just to be a landlord, they're going to pass those costs over to whoever the renters are. | ||
| And so I think that Portland's going in a bad area, and I think that Ted Wheeler, what he wants to do is he wants to blame everything on white supremacists. | ||
| He's constantly talking about white nationals and white supremacy and hatred as if that's what the problem is in Portland, Oregon. | ||
| The problem is not white supremacy. | ||
| The problem is the human trafficking, the pedophilia. | ||
| The problem is the rising cost just to rent a house, the rising cost of living, the homelessness, the drugs, and the fact that we have a mayor that refuses to call out the hatred from the far-left violent fascists who call themselves Antifa. | ||
| Basically, the only way we've been able to really hit back at Antifa in a peaceful way is we started doing the demasking campaign, and it's had a huge impact, a really big impact on them. | ||
| They're afraid to show up because they've become targets. | ||
| If you're wearing a mask and a crowd full of people who are not wearing masks, we're going to go straight up to you, get your mask off, and take your picture. | ||
| And so what's happened is, I'd say about two weeks ago, Hayley Adams said she's going to come into Portland because she was coming from Salem. | ||
| She announced she's coming to Portland. | ||
| I'd say about 100 people showed up to oppose her, where she said she would be, but not one of them was wearing a mask. | ||
| The deportables came into town in Portland, Oregon. | ||
| We showed up to make sure they weren't harassed. | ||
| Only one guy showed up with the mask, but as soon as we started to walk across the street, he took his mask off, and I thanked him for that. | ||
| And then Haley's basically just chasing Antifa down the street and kind of just chasing these guys out of town. | ||
| You know, it's funny. If people don't know, she's like this 100-pound blonde that for some reason they just hate. | ||
| It's like the weirdest thing. | ||
| They just hate her so much. | ||
| And so she just kind of trolls on by just walking around. | ||
| They can't control her. No matter what they do to her, no matter how much they try to threaten her, no matter how much they try to intimidate her, It just empowers her, and she goes into the areas where she's not supposed to go, and that's why I have a lot of respect for her, because she has more courage than a lot of men than I know. | ||

Well, I want to talk to you, and in the next segment, I want to talk to you about this, about, you know, I think that this leadership problem that the Democrats are having right now, where there's this, like, this smug arrogance where they kind of have their chin to the sky, and they just ignore all the destruction behind them because they justify, but I'm so progressive. | ||

| But the truth is they're running the city through indirect ways, through threatening people behind back channels. | ||
| And I do believe that there's some sort of organization, there's some sort of coordination happening between the protesters and the local government. | ||
| They seem to be working together and working hand in hand. | ||
| And I just, I find it very odd. | ||
| There's just a lot of things that's happened in the last couple years where I feel like someone's pulling strings from above. | ||
| And it was Portland where they were literally like in the streets blocking traffic, right? | ||
| Yeah, and the mayor just let them do that. | ||
| And they're taking batons to cars. | ||

| I mean, it really is. It's like, okay, yeah, you know, sure, you've got all the infrastructure that was built and the skyscrapers and everything, but when you go down into it, it's third world status. | ||
| Poop on the streets, homelessness everywhere, people using and abusing drugs in the public. | ||
| It's not safe. | ||
| And so you've got all this going on. | ||
| And it seems to me that we have a common thread here with this trend, Joey. | ||

| Lori Lightfoot, elected Chicago mayor, first black woman and first openly gay person to be Chicago's mayor. | ||
| Well, okay. Well, what does that do for Chicago? | ||
| See, that's the problem. These people are focusing on identity. | ||
| Oh my gosh, let's elect a gay person. | ||
| Oh my gosh, let's elect a black person instead of, let's elect a person that's going to clean out crime. | ||
| Let's elect a person that's going to be brave and stand up to the criminals. | ||
| Let's elect a person that has an idea of what to do with the economic distress the city is in. | ||
| Another story out of Chicago. | ||
| Socialists surged to victories in Chicago City Council. | ||
| So, same place where George Soros funded Kim Fox to become the prosecuting attorney. | ||
| So, I mean, people need to see this is what liberal progressives do. | ||
| They run on identity, they get elected on identity, and then they have no clue what to do once they get in office. | ||
| It's just all, oh, I'm progressive, I'm gay, I'm black. | ||
| The city's burning behind you. | ||

| So it seems like this is the trend, Joey. | ||
| Elect somebody for their identity, celebrate their identity, and then ignore the city when it goes to complete chaos, destruction, sickness, disease, and broke. | ||
| Yeah, absolutely. Another thing I want to talk about for everyone to look into your city council. | ||
| I don't care how small of a city you live in, especially if it's small, look into your city council and see who's actually there. | ||
| Because, for example, I've been working And the city of Battleground for the last four weeks. | ||
| The city of Battleground is about 30 minutes north of Portland, Oregon. | ||
| Okay, and going in there, there's a bunch of groups that have been trying to infiltrate the city. | ||
| You have a mayor who has pictures, you know, he's smiling, he's grinning from ear to ear, a picture of AOC, a picture of Nancy Pelosi. | ||
| And the people of Battleground, I don't even think they knew who this mayor was. | ||
| If they understood who he was, that he's like a socialist, they're going to run him out of town. | ||
| And I think that he ran unopposed. | ||
| So we really got to focus on what's happening at a sea level. | ||
| I also believe in Chicago, they just elected a whole bunch of socialists. | ||

| And a lot of it has to do with fighting against free speech, fighting against the Second Amendment, and ultimately to take down the Constitution. | ||
| Well, it really is a psychological motivation, because for us, for conservatives, we get enjoyment and thrill and deliverance out of success of our own sweat, our own toil, and then we have the comfort in our own skin. | ||
| We don't have to force ourselves on other people. | ||
| We don't have to get in positions of power. | ||
| That's not something desirable to us. | ||
| We have deliverance, acceptance in our own life. | ||
| But these leftists And they don't have any deliverance. | ||
| They feel unfulfilled because they are unfulfilled. | ||
| And so the only way that they can get that sense of fulfillment that every human needs is to run for office, get in these positions of power, go with the smug arrogance of, oh, I'm a progressive. | ||
| I stand for gay rights. | ||
| I stand for this. I stand for that. | ||
| And it's all just this facade so that they can have fulfillment in their lives because they can't do it organically. | ||
| They have to do it through some position of power, some fake social justice warrior facade that they put on. | ||
| And so what ends up happening is just like you said, all these socialists get involved in local government and you don't have any conservatives. | ||
| I mean, look. People really need to start going to city council. | ||
| You'd be amazed just going to city council, getting involved, and seeing where it stems from there. | ||
| But you get in front of these city councils, and it's like half the city council's hair is rainbow. | ||
| The other half doesn't even show up. | ||
| But seriously, that's what's going on here. | ||
| But that's the thing. People don't even realize this is going on. | ||
| The average conservative doesn't want to run for city council or some local office because most of it is just kind of pedantic, day-by-day stuff. | ||
| You don't really have the real impact, and you'd rather just manage your own life or whatever. | ||
| But the problem is these leftists, they want to get in there. | ||
| They take their role so seriously. | ||
| And as soon as you go to a city council meeting, you'll see all this. | ||
| So, I mean, do you think that's an answer just for people that want to get involved? | ||
| Go to city council. Run for city council? | ||
| Yes, go or run or email. | ||
| Get involved. And you have to expose them. | ||
| So here's what we're doing. We're pushing for a Fourth Amendment ordinance, which is basically just saying, hey, Battleground is not going to allow their police to come take property without due process, without a warrant, okay? | ||
| Specifically firearms. | ||
| Now, this is an amendment or an ordinance that everyone can agree with, right? | ||
| It's due process. And so... | ||
| When we do that and we bring that into this room and we ask them to do this, to consider it, they start to expose themselves for who they are. | ||
| Because those who are against an ordinance, respecting the Constitution, you know exactly where they stand. | ||
| You know what is important to them. | ||
| And it's not freedom. It's not the Constitution. | ||
| And when you can get people to begin to take sides, Then you can pick and choose. | ||
| Okay, this guy's up for re-election this year. | ||
| Let's find someone else who believes in the Constitution. | ||
| Let's replace them. It's very easy to take over city council elections if you get people fired up enough, especially if you're focusing on the Constitution. | ||
| And this is cool. Battleground is in the state of Washington. | ||
| Battleground is very conservative, pro-Constitution, but the whole state of Washington obviously is liberal because of Seattle. | ||
| So it's a way for us to push back at a local level. | ||
| And I suggest everyone all over the country to do this. | ||
| I've been to Portland. I've seen what has happened there. | ||
| I've been to San Francisco. | ||
| I've seen what's happened there. | ||
| I've never been to Seattle. | ||
| And when I briefly watched that documentary, Seattle is Dead, it honestly shocked me. | ||
| I mean, I was honestly shocked at the amount of despair that there is in Seattle because they foist themselves up as this progressive stronghold of just, you know, cleanliness and everything's great and everything's successful, total victories for everybody. | ||
| And that's not even close to the case. | ||
| I mean, I'm shocked at what we have to deal with here in Austin. | ||
| I mean, they can't even help what's happening here in Austin with the population density growing at the rate it's growing, but like, I mean, there's tent cities all over this town. | ||
| But they kind of, you know, they're hidden out in the woods and they kind of camp out and they have their little areas over here. | ||
| In Portland and San Francisco and Seattle, they're in your business. | ||
| You can't walk to lunch. | ||
| You can't walk to your work. | ||
| You can't walk to your apartment. | ||
| You're going to have to step over some heroin addict or some pile of poop. | ||
| Yeah. That's why we want to do some sort of homeless feed in front of Mayor Wheeler's house because he's not doing anything about it. | ||
| And a lot of these businesses have been begging for help. | ||
| A lot of the households have been begging for help for them to clean up the trash. | ||
| They won't clean up the trash in some of these areas where a lot of the homeless people stay because they're saying it's their property. | ||
| It would be like stealing their property, even though they're leaving. | ||
| It's just garbage. It's like needles and trash, you know, all over the place. | ||
| And so the thing is, is this isn't a left or right issue, right? | ||
| Everybody wants a clean city, okay? | ||
| So the pressure's coming down on them, and, you know, it's just, it's sad to say, but these cities almost have to implode. | ||
| It's the only way for the people to learn their lesson, okay, before they start to take it back and before they start to enforce the rule of law. | ||
| No, and that's kind of a strategy that I have on a worldly level is use these cities as an example or like even, I mean, you know, San Francisco, what a beautiful state. | ||
| I mean, what great history, you know? | ||
| I mean, it's so great, but at a certain level, you just kind of say, look, Let's say, fine, San Francisco, you want to be a socialist? | ||
| You want to be a communist? Or California? | ||
| Just go ahead, break off, do your own thing. | ||
| And let's just watch it. | ||
| Just totally descend into total chaos and anarchy and destruction. | ||
| I mean, fine. That's what I'm saying. | ||
| Do we have to give these people enough rope to hang themselves to be like, you see? | ||

| They have such smug arrogance that they don't even recognize it. | ||

| Oh, no, basically this group from Portland, you know, far left, they had a march a couple days before our planned rally. | ||

| And we get a message from the city of Battleground that I have to go in to fight for our right to have a rally in Battleground, because this group wanted them to pull our permit. | ||
| She went through a whole bunch of reasons why they should, but at the end of the day, none of it really made sense. | ||
| And so I had an opportunity to kind of say my piece and stand up for the Constitution, the First Amendment. | ||
| And so they finally approved our permit. | ||
| And last Sunday we had a few hundred people out there in a small city of battleground wanting really bad sanctuary ordinance so that we can protect the Constitution at a local level. | ||
| And so this is like just basic American rights that you're fighting for and they're trying to shut you down. | ||
| Yeah, and it's for everybody. | ||
| You know, it's not just for one group or another. | ||
| And this is the thing. This group, they're very anti-cop. | ||
| They're concerned about the power that police have. | ||
| Okay? So, and a lot of them kind of wish that they were disarmed. | ||
| Well, hey, if you want to disarm the police, then you better be for arming the people. | ||
| And the second thing, too, is we're simply asking for the police to have a warrant before they kick down doors. | ||

Breaking news. The NRA and several Pittsburgh residents have filed a lawsuit challenging the city's right to pass gun control laws. | |
| It comes after city council passed a controversial package of bills today. | ||
| These bills would ban the use of certain guns and ammunition and keep guns away from those deemed to be a public threat. | ||
| The bills now head to Mayor Peduto's desk and he is expected to sign them. | ||
| Amy Wattis reports on what could happen next. | ||
| Despite lawsuits and challenges that the city will likely face, City Council voted and passed its controversial gun legislation 6-3. | ||
| After the vote came down, Some people in the crowd clapped, but others like Dennis Jordan aren't too happy. | ||
| I will not abide by that law. | ||
| Make a criminal out of me. | ||
| City Council voted on three bills. | ||
| The bills would place restrictions on military-style assault weapons, ban the use of armor-piercing ammunition and high-capacity magazines, and allow the temporary seizure of guns from people who are determined to be a danger to themselves or others. | ||
| We know that extreme risk protection orders will help to reduce death, both by reducing suicides and by allowing courts to intervene to prevent future tragedies like what we experienced at the Tree of Life. | ||
| Alan Willinger says he and his wife became more active in gun reform when his family member, Daniel Lager, was injured in the Tree of Life massacre. | ||
| I'm glad Pittsburgh is willing to take on the possibility of being sued because this is so important that it's worth being sued over. | ||
| But others disagree. | ||
| Where is the money going to come from when, you know, opposition wins and then there is, you know, court costs and, you know, attorney fees. | ||
| In fact, Second Amendment activists have made it known that they will challenge the legislation in court, pointing out that state law doesn't allow municipalities to regulate firearms. | ||
| The legislation was watered down last week in an effort to make it more likely to survive a court challenge. | ||
| It's all semantical because it's like, you know, nobody wants to sit here and celebrate the fact that you need a gun for protection. | ||
| Nobody wants to sit here and act like it's something, oh my gosh, I'm so excited I have to have a gun in my house because a burglar might come in. | ||
| Or, oh my gosh, I'm so excited I have to have armed security at my church because some psycho might come try to shoot it. | ||
| It's not something we celebrate. | ||
| It's something we understand as a necessity. | ||
| It's a necessity. | ||
| And again, if you're in trouble and facing a threat, what do you do? | ||
| Call a good guy with a gun. | ||
| What did the parents and the school board at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas School just vote? | ||
| To arm people on campus. | ||
| So that's the answer. | ||

| I mean, again, it's just like... | ||
| I don't even know how to comprehend someone's mind that doesn't understand that removing guns is only going to embolden criminals. | ||

| Look at these cities like Pittsburgh or Chicago and some of these areas that are trying to ban semi-automatic rifles. | ||
| No one's getting murdered with them. | ||
| And the police aren't. No one's committing crimes with these rifles. | ||
| Nobody. All the crime is done with handguns. | ||
| Even most of the mass shootings are done by handguns. | ||
| In fact, technically, almost 90% of all mass shootings are done are gang-related, okay? | ||
| And so people need to understand. | ||
| I think that people are very emotional because no one likes to see children die, right? | ||
| No one likes to see people die inside schools. | ||
| It's very emotional. It's a very hard thing to deal with. | ||
| But at the end of the day, if you look at the numbers, you're only going to have 300 murders, right? | ||
| Across the entire country in one year. | ||
| Okay? That's not a reason to take away a God-given right, the rifle. | ||
| The semi-automatic rifle is very important in this country. | ||
| And this is happening at a city level all over the country. | ||
| The judge just ruled in California that you cannot ban 30-round magazines because they gave so many examples to where if they didn't have 30 rounds in a magazine, they probably would have died. | ||
| And so I want people to really, truly think about what is it that they're doing because they're emotional, okay? | ||
| But what's logical? | ||
| If you're going to ban semi-automatic rifles in that city, okay, I guarantee you it's not going to stop a mass shooting. | ||
