Host of DAILY TRUTH argues that while only the sovereign Spirit regenerates a child's heart, parents must enforce outward submission through training, admonishing, and discipline. He asserts that godly parenting guarantees children will constantly profess Jesus as Lord, citing his two-year-old daughter who prays daily, and claims any elder whose three-year-old does not make such a profession is disqualified. Ultimately, the speaker contends that diligent parental effort ensures visible faithfulness, leaving inward transformation solely to God's miraculous will. [Automatically generated summary]

Raising Children in the Fear of God00:03:49
Hey guys, real quick before we get started, I have a small request.
If you've been blessed by our content and you like this show, would you take just a brief moment and leave us a five star review?
This is quite possibly the most effective thing that you can do to ensure that this content gets out to as many people as possible.
Thanks.
Jesus said, Man cannot live on bread alone, but from every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.
You're listening to Daily Truth.
A child will not be regenerate as a product of your parenting.
That is a work that can only be accomplished by the sovereign Spirit of God.
But at the same time, that outward submission and an outward profession is absolutely within your power as a parent.
That is how much authority and power the Lord has actually given you as a father and a mother.
That's my prayer for my daughters again and again and again God, help me to parent.
Them to train and teach and admonish and discipline them in such a way that they learn by means of my parenting, they learn outward submission, knowing that they will never learn inward heart submission but by a miracle of God.
So, my prayers God, you save them, save my kids, so that they might learn submission and believing in the inmost place, inward submission, heart submission, heart faith, heart belief.
The Lord has equipped me as a parent with everything I need.
If I train my children in the fear and admonition of the Lord, that outwardly, by way of parenting, they can be submissive.
Outwardly submissive.
And by way of parenting, also, they can be outwardly professors.
Your children and mine, if we do our job in the church and in the home, there will never be a day that they don't profess Jesus as Lord and Savior.
My daughter is two years old, praying to Jesus.
She is a professor.
And I believe that's what Titus is speaking to.
A man who's, if you're an elder in the church of God and your three year old doesn't profess Jesus as Lord and Savior, I think that's a disqualification.
What are you teaching your three year old?
I mean, what kind of parenting do you have to employ for a three year old to go around saying, I hate Jesus?
Every three year old, I mean, all of our three year olds love Santa.
He's not even real.
And yet, we are able by our parenting, if we do so, and I'm not saying you should, but if we do so, if we wish to do this, by way of our parenting, we are able to get our children to profess their love and faith in Santa Claus.
And we can't do it with Jesus.
Do you understand?
That's a problem.
That's a real failure in parenting.
If you are parenting in a godly fashion, your children will never know a day in their life where they did not profess.
Jesus as Lord and Savior, and where they were not constantly growing.
Certainly they're sinners and they're going to mess up, but there is a constant growth in outward submission.
And one day, if the Lord wills, and I believe He does, for the children of believers, that He does will this, they will also learn inward submission because He will miraculously and sovereignly save them.
Thanks so much for listening.
