Daily Truth host argues that while men and women are equal, distinct creation ordinances in 1 Corinthians 11 and 1 Timothy 2 mandate separate roles for home, church, and society. He asserts complementarianism is God's good design predating the fall, contrasting it with the left's strategy to confuse society with multiple genders before elimination. The host claims aversion to these roles stems from sinful nature rather than divine intent, noting specific discussions on gender roles will be deferred to avoid sidetracking the audience ahead of an upcoming Right Response Conference. Jesus said, Man cannot live on bread alone, but from every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.
You're listening to Daily Truth.
We believe men and women, although equal, are different.
Even though we live in a culture that wants to steamroll the genders, which, by the way, the strategy there is you can't go from two to one.
In order to actually get people to buy into that, you have to confuse society.
And so, what you have to do is instead of going from two to one, which make no mistake, it is the goal, it is the agenda, but you have to go from two to 36 first, and then a little higher, and then it becomes such a mess that everybody's just like, gender doesn't exist.
Right?
So, you just exhaust people by creating more genders to eventually you get what you want, which is one gender.
And that's the agenda of the left in our nation today.
And so the point is this the reason why we don't embrace that, the reason why we believe men and women are equal and yet different, and therefore called by God to different roles in the home and in the church, and at some measure in society, which is not going to be discussed today because I don't want to sidetrack you.
But the point is this the point is the reason why we believe that even in 2019, Southern California, this is still something that God has for us is because Paul in 1 Corinthians 11, Paul in 1 Timothy chapter 2, he roots these.
These teachings about the difference of the roles of men and women in what?
A creation ordinance.
He speaks all the way back to the creation before sin ever even entered the world.
He speaks about how Adam was formed first and Eve was formed second, and that Eve, the woman, was made from man and for man as his helpmate.
And I know that that's not popular, and there's so many nuances with that that I have to be self controlled and avoid today.
The point is this.
Paul, when making the argument about differences in roles between the genders, he roots it in a creation ordinance before the fall ever even took place.
And some would teach today that complementarianism, the idea that there's a difference between men and women, is a result of the fall.
But we see that as actually a result of God's good design before the fall.
You see, you know what is actually a result of the fall?
Not complementarianism, but our aversion in our hearts to complementarianism.
That's the result of the fall.
The result of the fall is not complementarian doctrine.
The result of the fall is that we hate complementarian doctrine because of our sinful nature.
The result of the fall is extreme feminism, which pushes against God's good design.
