When we think of, like, the Grand Canyon, for instance, A lot of people say, well, it can't be that God created in six literal days because that would age the earth in a way that's very young.
We'd have a young earth.
And we can tell by all these sedimentary layers and all these kinds of things that we have a very old earth.
And then when you press a little bit harder on the atheist and you say, well, but how do we know?
How do we know that it's an old earth?
And what they'll say in a nutshell, they're going to say a lot of things, but what they'll say in a nutshell is this well, a little bit of water, a trickle of water, would take years.
Billions of years, well, in the case of the earth, millions of years, in order to carve out these ravines and set all these layers.
And okay, but that's a very simple equation.
What you're saying ultimately is a little bit of water, a lot of bit of time.
But what if we reversed it?
What if we said a lot of bit of water, a little bit of time?
Like, I don't know, like a global flood.
It would give the earth an appearance of being very old.
So we don't have to bend the knee.
The evidence supports God and His Word.
So that's just one example of.
And I just say that because I don't want you to feel like you have to check your brain at the door in order to be a Christian.
The only thing we have to check at the door in order to follow Christ is not our brain, but our will.
