Host of DAILY TRUTH clarifies that while Christians must love all neighbors as universal creations, they are commanded to hate the world's organized demonic system opposing God. He distinguishes hating abortion or the LGBT agenda from hating individuals, citing a 2016 liberal tweet urging conservatives to indoctrinate children in red states as an example of systemic evil. Ultimately, this righteous indignation stems from loving God, proving that rejecting worldly structures does not violate the mandate to love fellow humans. [Automatically generated summary]

Universal Love for All00:05:51
Hey guys, real quick before we get started, I have a small request.
If you've been blessed by our content and you like this show, would you take just a brief moment and leave us a five star review?
This is quite possibly the most effective thing that you can do to ensure that this content gets out to as many people as possible.
Thanks.
Jesus said, Man cannot live on bread alone, but from every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.
You're listening to Daily Truth.
Are we called to have enmity?
A holy aversion and frustration and hatred of the offspring of Satan being, as I just described, non Christians.
No.
Let me say it again.
No.
Not in that literal one to one sense.
Let me explain what I mean by that.
The Bible does not teach the universal fatherhood of God, He is only the father of those who've been united to Him through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
But the Bible does teach the universal creatorhood of God.
So, that we are all creatures, non Christians and Christians alike, made in the image of God.
In the very same way, the Bible doesn't teach the universal fatherhood, but it does creatorhood.
The Bible also doesn't teach universal brotherhood, but it does teach universal neighborhood.
So, that it is not true, if you are in Christ, to say that all human beings are your brothers or sisters.
They are only your brothers or sisters if they believe upon the Lord Jesus Christ.
But.
That being said, the Bible does teach universal neighborhood.
So, who is my neighbor?
Everyone.
Everyone.
Non Christians and Christians alike.
And what does the Bible tell us?
What does Christ our Lord Himself tell us in regards to how we should feel and treat our neighbor?
Love your neighbor as yourself.
So, as it relates to our disposition, our relationship with unbelievers, what are we called to do?
You can answer?
Love them.
That's right.
Okay, so I want to be very clear about that.
However, at the same time, here's the nuance.
In a different sense, all right, so this isn't breaking the laws of non contradiction.
In a different sense now, Jesus also tells us very clearly that Christians are not to love the world.
And that there is a very real sense in which we, as followers of Christ, are called to hate the world.
Jesus is very clear.
Do not love the world.
The world.
Do not love the world.
Do not love the world.
But then he's also clear.
Let me remind you of my earlier point love your neighbor.
Love your neighbor.
So, what's the distinction here?
We have to be careful, right?
The job of a theologian is all day long, not separations, right?
You separate the three persons of the Trinity and you're a heretic, but you distinguish them and you're solid, all right?
And so, to distinguish the nuance here is we are called to hate the world as the way the Gospel of John and 1 John. Uses it over and over and over again, not as it relates to individual unbelievers, but as it relates to this organized demonic system under the domain and rule of Satan that stands in stark opposition and enmity against the things of God and against the people of God.
So there is a way of hating abortion without hating the woman who has committed an abortion.
There's a way of hating the LGBT agenda that wants to take your children.
I'll never forget this tweet I saw right after the election.
2016, there's a liberal woman, very popular, thousands, tens of thousands of followers, and she said, If you're really angry about what happened, what you should do is move to a red state like Texas and become a teacher.
If you really want to make a difference, that's what you should do.
Move to a conservative state.
Don't go and picket the White House and say he's not my.
You really want to make a difference?
Go to a conservative state and become a teacher.
And indoctrinate while they're young.
Do that.
That's powerful.
I remember seeing that.
I was like, oh my goodness.
Olive wasn't even born yet.
And you know what I felt?
Hatred.
And is that right?
Yeah, it is.
Was it completely right in my heart?
Probably not.
Right?
Because I'm a sinner.
But was all of it wrong?
No.
That's oversimplifying.
That's throwing out the baby with the bathwater.
There is a righteous indignation.
Toward the world, again, as the word world relates to the evil organized system under Satan's domain that enslaves people in darkness and stands in stark opposition and hatred towards God and his glory.
In that sense, if you don't hate the world in that sense, I don't know if you love God.
Because if we're honest, hatred is not a primary emotion, it is the result of what it looks like to love.
When you love this and then that is trying to destroy this, you hate that.
That's what love does.
Thanks so much for listening.
But, real quick, before you go, do us a small favor, take a moment, and leave us a five star review if you enjoyed the show.
