DAILY TRUTH - Reconciliation Between God & Man

Daily Truth host explores reconciliation between God and man, citing Jesus' teaching that believers live on every word from God's mouth. Focusing on verse 10, the speaker explains how enemies were reconciled to God through Christ's death while believers are saved by His interceding life in heaven. This divine act applies to those with faith, uniting them as sons to the triune God—Father, Savior, and Spirit—through substitutionary atonement and ongoing heavenly application of promises. Ultimately, this biblical truth underscores that salvation rests entirely on Christ's finished work and living presence. [Automatically generated summary]

Jesus said, Man cannot live on bread alone, but from every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.
You're listening to Daily Truth.
In verse 10 of our text, we see these words, For if while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life.
Using similar language as in verse 9, the apostle, he now argues from reconciliation by the death of Christ to salvation by the life of Christ.
Whoever is reconciled to God by the death of Jesus shall be saved by the life of Jesus.
This is yet another clear expression of the wonderful love of God, since this reconciliation arises purely from Himself.
For all who have faith in Christ, they have been reconciled to the triune God, reconciled to God as sovereign Father in all His decrees and providences, reconciled to God as victorious Savior, so as to joyfully submit to the kindly rule of His kingdom, and reconciled to God the Holy Spirit.
So, as to be led by him in total dependence for the continuing and finishing of the good work which he began in us.
We have been reconciled by Christ's death, and we are continually saved by Christ's life.
Here, the apostle does not merely speak of Christ's sinless life on earth, but of the interceding life of Christ in heaven, where he now ever lives to make intercession for his people, to ensure that all the promises which he obtained by his death are thoroughly applied unto all.
Who believe.
Again, for those who have been saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, we have been reconciled to God.
We've been reconciled to God by the cross.
We've been reconciled to God by Jesus' death, by the shedding of his blood, by his substitutionary death in our place, taking upon himself the judgment, the punishment that was rightly due to us.
All of this has reconciled us to the triune God.
To God as our covenant father, to Christ as our elder brother, victorious Lord and Savior, to the Holy Spirit, the one who guides us and equips us and convicts us of sin.
We've been reconciled to the triune God by the death of Jesus.
