Time Text
My pillow guy, Mike Lindell.
He is the greatest.
The My Pillow Guy.
Mike Lindell.
And he's been with us right from the beginning.
Thanks for joining us tonight.
I am Rick Weibel subbing in for Mike Lindell for the Lindell report.
It is November 26, 2024.
And please support Mike Lindell with the promo code L77 to get a head start on your Christmas shopping with all of the wonderful items over at mypillow, mypillow.com.
And make sure you put in promo code L77 to also get free shipping with your orders.
And there are a lot of great items there that are great stocking stuffers and just regular gifts as well.
And probably even for your Democrat friends, a few white elephant gifts you can find there as well.
Especially we know that some of them will be triggered that you're giving them something very nice, such as a MyPillow pillow to thoughtfully rest their head on at night, because they sometimes wonder, how do we sleep at night?
Oh, perfectly fine with my pillow, especially after this Trump victory.
So we'll get into the latest news that is happening across the United States a little light on the election integrity front because some people are deciding to take vacations this week and some of the election officials are rightfully planning their Black Friday shopping, but also wrapping up many of their reports.
But there's still a few contests that are out there and recounts that are still happening.
And I think we're going to get a lot of news, especially next week, regarding some of these recounts and some of the state canvassing boards that will continue to kind of roll through the United States.
And there's still the three races for the House seat that are still kind of popcorning out there.
So in the news, the first thing is from the Gateway Pundit, we see that the Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey wins his second court challenge on voter ID laws.
Elon Musk also kind of weighs in congratulating him and even stating we need this nationwide.
And so a Missouri court sided with Attorney Andrew Bailey on Monday and kept the voter ID law intact in the show me state.
Show me some ID.
We know where that's going.
The radical activists trying to undermine the elections in Missouri failed.
Fantastic.
And so Bailey wrote, a court just sided with my team yet again, ruling Missouri's voter ID law will remain intact.
We went to court, we put on the evidence, and radical activists working to undermine our elections failed.
This is a huge win for election security, Bailey wrote on X.
So we will continue to follow this case.
We're going to go look at the Missouri laws in one of our future episodes.
But I want to remind everyone in yesterday's show, we had the graph up there, basically kind of looking at where we are in the United States.
And so now that Missouri has gone to a more strict type of law, we'll have to re-review this chart to see if they're now in the green column or in a yellow column like my state, South Dakota, where there's a self-signed affidavit.
So now that we've seen a law become more strict in one of the jurisdictions and a court has backed up the legislative intent, this is good news for some of the changes that we're looking at across the United States.
Now, conservative activist Scott Pressler demolishes CNN reporter with an epic response when she tried to smear him and Babium and other Trump supporters as violent during a hit piece.
And so she went up to him and basically the question was, I noticed that when you urge people to action, you often include the word peacefully, Reeves stated.
That was the reporter.
Is that to avoid another January 6th type incident?
Sensing the trap from the CNN reporter, Pressler delivered an epic and funny response that shut her down and likely shocked the network's viewers in the process.
With all due respect, Presley replied, it's to avoid people like you guys saying that I'm anything but.
My motto is just to be super cute, have my data and facts, and treat everyone with love and respect, he added.
As you can see, an army of people will follow.
So this is based upon the great work that he did over in Pennsylvania and the response that they had regarding all the people giving all those speeches to try and make sure that election integrity was still at the forefront.
Now, in some funny news, how awkward.
CNN and MSNBC just got beaten in ratings by the Hallmark channel.
So even before Christmas has even started, here we see Hallmark rose to be in the third most popular channel in prime time and total day viewership in the week of November 11th through 17th, beating out both MSNBC and CNN.
The Hallmark channel was third among all cable networks, falling only to Fox News and ESPN, with an average of 810,000 viewers in prime time and 479,000 viewers at any given point in the day.
That is absolutely fantastic.
And so I threw in a little extra Ahai Trump Santa hat there that Nate Flex put together.
And it's just absolutely fantastic that the good news just keeps rolling in.
Now in looking at world news, what's happening out there, we see that we see that military chairman of NATO, Admiral Rob Bauer, is basically saying a preemptive attack on Russia should be considered.
I cannot believe that he is actually saying this out loud.
And so it is just disgusting that they are looking at trying to attack Russia and just kind of saber-rattling.
Thankfully, out of clarity, Tucker Carlson has called these recent developments the most evil thing he has seen in his lifetime.
You're not wrong, sir.
I agree with you.
And so kind of looking at the election updates here, we see that Trump is still in the lead and his vote totals have increased as more votes come in through some of the states that have not completed.
He is still at 50%, which is good.
And so he's at 76.8 million votes compared to Gamala's 74.3 million votes.
There's no change in the Senate results, and we are still waiting for the last three states or last three seats to kind of get settled there, the two in California and the one in Iowa.
And so we are still just in that razor-thin majority for the Republican House there.
And we have to, we have nothing to spare with these rhinos that are all over the House of Representatives in the United States.
Tonight, we have a special guest that you have heard from before from the great state of Wyoming, Jill Kaufman.
And tonight, we are going to have a special treat that we are actually going to be looking at the standards and looking at the machines and trying to ascertain whether or not we were ready for 2024 and whether or not we're going to be ready for 2026.
Jill, welcome to the show.
Well, hi, Rick, and hello to everybody else.
And thank you so very much for inviting me on tonight.
Yeah, thank you.
And so there's been a lot of discovery out of Wyoming.
And some of my earlier slides, I talked about having kind of the balance between the EAC bucket certification and then the ability of the clerks to actually use the equipment.
And in the primary, we kind of learned your state was kind of a hot mess.
And how many counties failed the logic and accuracy test?
Well, we had 23, 22 fail out of the 23 counties failed the logic and accuracy test.
And it went to the point where notifying the Secretary of State, he actually sent out a letter to tell everyone or suggest everyone to retest because of such failures.
So it's not a hidden secret, but they did fail.
So they had to retest.
Okay.
And so looking at kind of the statement by the EAC, we see that they have this wonderful statement here where they talk about their original standard in 2005 and going into the 2024 election.
And this is from their own manual from 2005, the Voluntary Voting System Guidelines.
And on page three, it basically starts out at the bottom of it.
It is well known that deficiencies in election management and administration procedures can have just as much an impact on the enfranchisement of voters and the outcome of elections as the functioning of the voting machines.
The overall integrity of the election process depends on both of these elements working together.
And so it seems like we've had pockets of failure within the state of Wyoming.
And that seems really scary, especially when we look at a base model of the machines itself.
And Wyoming seems to have pretty good statutes that are pretty well straightforward that you guys rely solely on the EAC certification without an evaluation by a state board of elections, outside technical experts.
And so you rely completely on the test labs to tell you whether or not everything is on the up and up and the EAC to actually issue the certificate, correct?
That is correct.
And we ran into some interesting information when we were trying to do these tests, these test decks and everything.
We were trying to follow statutes.
And with the ESS, ESNS, I think believe it's 7.4.2 of their VVSG standards, it basically says that they have to do these testings.
And that goes along with our statutes, one of our statutes, and it's 221103.
And it's one of the subsections in there that it states that we have to follow the guidelines.
And they are felonies if they're not followed correctly.
Well, let me back you up here a little bit just to make a little bit of a correction.
And you're not far wrong.
It's related to it.
In the voluntary voting system guidelines, the 7.4.2 is about the antivirus component of it.
And this is what we learned together: that, oh, no, no, don't be sorry.
No one is an expert here.
But whenever we make a mistake, we just have to gently kind of correct each other.
And that's kind of what we want to do with your clerks as well: is to kind of look, we wanted to look at the test acts.
We saw that there was an issue, and we wanted to work with clerks to be able to take corrective action to get them in guidance of the legislative intent, which was to build trust in the elections.
And unfortunately, actually, let me put it this way: you had some clerks that were willing to do the retest and get in line.
Then you had the other extreme where some of the clerks did not want to do additional testing, refused to do it, and were somewhat malicious about it as well or arrogant.
And so then there were, when we fast forward to the general election, there were more clerks that fell into compliance, not fully, but at least they were, you could see that they were making a genuine effort to try.
But then there were others that were not.
They weren't trying at all.
And due to frustration, lack of care, all of the above, you can just throw in that bag of discovery to figure out what was going on.
So now going back to the other side, so that's that second bucket that we talk about.
And that second bucket is the administration and oversight of election officials to actually use the machines correctly to make sure that issues aren't going to happen like you don't want me programming these machines and the elections because I'm a terrible typist.
I will have typos in there and I could map some of these items the wrong way.
And so this is part of where that testing is so important to kind of ferret that out.
Because, I mean, let's look at it.
You have ESNS, Dominion that are taking up over 70% of the elections in the United States.
They have a staff that could be temporary or part-time or a mix of election officials that are doing this on their own who could be newly elected to try and program this.
And that just creates a randomization project that who knows where that goes.
But going back to the first item over on this side, it's really important to look at the antivirus.
Are they doing it correctly?
And so in 7.4.2, I'll show you that little piece here.
And it's so, it basically is just a simple statement that says that the vendors are required to provide protection against malicious software.
Voting systems shall deploy protection against the many forms of threats to which they may be exposed, such as file and macroviruses, worms, Trojan horses, and logic bombs.
And it says very clearly: vendors shall develop and document the procedures to be followed to ensure that such protection is maintained in a current status.
I don't know about you, but I wouldn't want to drink two-year-old expired milk.
And that seems to be where your state is at when we dug a little bit deeper and we saw that this engineering change order 1141 was approved by the EAC to basically take care of this issue called print nightmare in the Windows operating system.
And it also updated the antivirus definitions, but that was the last update that they had.
And so the reality is since this submittal, there were no other updates between basically May 2022 all the way until November of 2024.
And so there's millions of new viruses and Trojans that have been released into the wild.
And it was kind of funny that we also had an ESNS memo that basically came out in August 13th of 2024 that they didn't get to the upgrade really until May of 2023.
So that meant your 2022 election didn't have the update.
And that's just shocking.
And that's scary to see stuff like that.
Yeah, it was very shocking.
And I was doing a public records request also and received an email from the Secretary of State's office when they were communicating with ESNS.
And as of July 31st, it stated here that the ECO 1141 is it needs to be updated.
And the attached is the request for another approval in the letter from 2022.
This is something that we should have followed up on.
So is that telling us that we have not even updated in 2022 or 2023?
And I haven't found any documentation since July 31st to state that they re-upped it again.
Because if they were asking for recertification to be able to do that, that kind of makes your mind go, hmm, did they really do it back in May of 2023?
You're absolutely right.
And so this is where I want to sound the warning alarm right now to every single state.
Yes.
We need to shore up our election laws to really call balls and strikes.
One of the things I'm recommending is that, look, if a vendor has not updated the antivirus 90 days before an election, we shouldn't use that vendor for that election until they get it remediated.
And I don't really don't want them coming into a machine 60 within that 60-day window between the start of an election, especially absentee period, and the testing.
So let's look at it this way: 60 days before an election, I believe that the logic and accuracy testing should start.
It should be completed 50 days before the election.
And if If you can't get it done, then you're not going to be running any of the absentee ballots into that system at all early because we want everything done.
So that way, those absentee ballots are going to be 100% perfect.
Then, if you can't get it done and fixed, you should be going right to Handcount to protect your elections.
Here's the warning alarm that I want to sound right now today.
And those of you that are getting ready to Black Friday shop, this is the time to look at what you have for systems at home because Microsoft has this memo out there on their website right now that the end of support for Windows 10, Windows 8.1, and Windows 7.
Oh, by the way, it's those other ones were done earlier, but right there, it says right in the middle, support for Windows 10 will end in October 2025.
So, and it says there: after October 14th, 2025, Microsoft will no longer provide free software updates from Windows update, technical assistance, or security fixes for Windows 10.
Your PC will still work, but we recommend moving to Windows 11.
And it even says there, Windows 11 offers a modern and efficient experience designed to meet current demands for heightened security.
So, as you're out there looking at your systems and you're looking at the lower prices of Black Friday, you should consider upgrading your system now so that you don't have to wait till next Black Friday or when there's potentially a shortage of equipment.
There are going to be a lot of businesses upgrading their machines now.
As a matter of fact, today, I had to go to three clients today in Minnesota to pick up their machines so that I can work on upgrading them during the Thanksgiving break and then deliver them next week because they are going from Windows 10 to Windows 11 now to try and avoid it.
And so, many of them are trying to do the write-offs this year so that they have more flexibility next year and don't have to have their backs up against a wall, especially with the saber rattling in China.
What would happen if they take over Taiwan and now we have a chip shortage?
What are they going to do then?
So, this is why right now it's stable.
Get this done.
Here's what I'm concerned about: our current vendors out there.
This is the latest, greatest status for each of the active vendors that are out there right now.
So, clear ballot, Windows 10 Pro, that was build 1607.
Microsoft actually ended servicing that and putting security updates out April 9th of 2019.
They could have had a free upgrade to another build within Windows 10 and been compliant all the way through this election, but they were negligent.
And what's disgusting is that the EAC certified this thing in 2022, and nobody there sounded the alarm and said, Hey, wait a minute, why are we certifying an operating system that's dead and potentially at risk?
Then we look at Dominion Democracy Suite 5.17.
We're not sure what the Windows 10 build there is, but the EAC certified that one in 2023.
I think the EAC had a responsibility to clarify what that build was in the certificate.
They did not.
The same thing is true of the 5.5D, which is more popular.
What build is that one?
That one was certified in 2022.
Then we look at our friends, ESNS.
Now, granted, South Dakota and Wyoming are in a much earlier version than the 6.5.0.0, and that one was certified July of this year.
But the latest antivirus update, according to the worksheets on there, is from February 28th, 2023.
Now, there weren't many states that were using 6.5.0.0 for the election that we just had.
And so they were on older versions that were more at risk.
Then we have Heart InterCivic.
Their system, Microsoft ended that support on 5.11, 2021, and that was a build of 1909, which is really sad.
Then we have another one, MicroVote, also a build of 1909, and they ended that one also in 5-11, 2021.
And it's really sad how the EAC is not on top of their game to really send out the warning alarm and to make sure that people are okay.
So, what did we just notice here?
Oh, yeah, not a single one of these is Windows 11.
They're not ready.
And so, when we look at the new systems that are under test right now, I am aware that Democracy Suite from Dominion, that one for Democracy Suite 5.2.0, that one is looking at Windows 11, but the SmartMatic and the other ones are not really looking at that.
And so, right now, these are just reports approved, test plan approved, and system under test.
And so, hopefully, we'll see ESNS get one here.
And that's the question.
ESNS: when are you going to have a new system with Windows 11 available so that many of the states can go towards that?
You know, to at least start securing their systems, because this coming summer would be the ideal time to do it.
So, that way, many of the states could have time to test it.
The election officials could get comfortable with it.
And if there's any new features and new security improvements and processes that you would be doing, it would be better to do that in these smaller elections for city, county, municipal, and school districts so that they can kind of get their experience with the machines done.
And if there's any issues, at least it's not torpedoing a statewide election in 2026.
So, that's just that just breaks my heart that we have these vendors that are not up to the task right now.
And so, hopefully, we'll start seeing some changes here rapidly, and we'll keep our eyes on it.
But I'm asking some of these state legislatures, I think you need to look at also the standard itself.
The 1.0 standard, you should just say right now we're done with 1.0 because the new standard is supposed to be the 2.0 standard, and you should require all of your voting machines before 2026 to be at the 2.0 standard.
And if they're not, stop using it.
And I think legislatures, you need to start putting in some automatic items into your legislation, such as if a voting system is not the 2.0 voluntary voting system guidelines, it's automatically decertified.
If a voting system does not have an antivirus update on it within 90 days before an election, it is prohibited from being used in an election within 90 days.
You must go to handcuff and don't give discernment and discretion to the Secretary of States.
Make it so black and white that it's a strict if-then statement.
So that way it's easier for judges when we bring up these complaints to say, look, they violated the law.
And then the judge is like, well, what do you want as a remedy?
We need the legislatures to put the remedies in place to protect our elections because the judges don't want to call these types of balls and strikes and force the hand of election officials.
And by having that disaster recovery plan already in statute, we can protect our elections.
I think that's what we've learned.
And you guys in your state, you have some great laws there already where your chair, your chairman and women have to communicate with the county clerk, their election official, to basically say, here are our election judges.
Here are kind of our hand count teams.
And then here are our alternates.
And I think other states need to model that.
Yes, it was very good.
We actually got to experience some of that, but you might want to get to it after the break, I guess.
But it has some really good statutes in Wyoming.
Our challenge is that we need to hold people to account.
And sometimes we get real frustrated because we see all these things with the machines.
And if they're not following the guidelines, we have no way, no remedies to correct it.
And that is a pretty scary story.
We also, just as a caveat with the outdates of things coming up in 2025, Wyoming just purchased for a county, I believe it was in July, another 25 systems, and they were all Windows 10.
So within a year, they're outdated.
And we just spent over $100,000 on these systems.
So it's just crazy.
It's just mind-boggling.
I don't know if it's confusion, if it's, you know, people just not qualified to be able to do things like this.
I don't know.
So we're just confused in Wyoming, and we know there's challenges, and we need to hit them straight on and get this taken care of because our whole goal that we have been working on is to make sure that our vote is cast as we vote it.
If it's not, why do we have elections?
Yeah, you're exactly right.
And so is this a soft form of dictatorship where we have these elections that we don't understand and these machines that are not clear.
And so I guess I'd like to put the challenge out there.
ESNS, Dominion, Clear Ballot, all of you other vendors, what are you going to do to help improve our elections today?
And I'd like to see them come out in the press over the next three months as to what their vision cast is to protect the 2026 elections and to provide greater transparency.
Of course, I would love, I understand that they are a for-profit business.
I get that.
So they don't want to release their source code.
But I think we need to start having groups looking at that source code to make sure that the elections are doing, that these machines are operating how we think they are.
And we have to create, we have to have ownership to make sure that our Secretary of States, our election officials understand how these systems work.
And when they don't have a basic understanding, we have to put a full stop and just say, no, you can't use the machines.
I'm sorry.
It's too dangerous for you because our elections matter.
Now, some people are going to say I'm being hyperbolic, but I'm sorry.
But there's a case that I want to review that happened in Wyoming with you when we come back from the break.
And it's the story of Weston County.
And that has a story to tell in itself.
So when we come back from the commercial break, remember the MyPillow promo code L77 gets you free shipping.
And when we come back from the break, let's talk more about Wyoming and how wild things are in Weston.

Welcome back.
I'm with Jill Kaufman of Wyoming, and it is absolutely incredible to have her on.
Jill, you have a statement about security views of the corporate world and then the election world that you were sharing with me during the break.
Go ahead and share that with our audience.
Yeah, I will.
And thank you for letting me share this.
It was a thought for the day that came across my Telegraph channel, and some really good people are posting on that.
And it says, in the corporate America, when a computer professional discovers a security issue, flaw, or evidence of a breach in the corporate system, they're typically well rewarded.
Heck, I know people that have even gotten great jobs that way.
However, when a computer professional discovers a security issue, a flaw, or evidence of a breach in an election system, they are ridiculed.
They are hounded, insulted, and even charged with crimes.
And I guess my question is: what's wrong with that picture?
Why do we have such disdain for people who are just trying to find information out and why our election systems are so messed up?
I mean, we have data and analyzing information that show exacts.
And for some reason, they're just, you know, we're being hounded and insulted.
And oh boy, just on a daily basis almost.
And it's pretty sad.
And I think there's a wrong picture here, and we need to change that by bringing more transparency into our states.
I think you're right.
And one of the early whistleblowers was Clay Free.
And it's interesting the journey that he's been on.
For those of you that don't know who Clay Free is, one of the most brilliant patient men I know with a solid military background, computer background.
He actually worked at one of the test labs for about nine years, I believe.
He was raising the alarm with his management team at the test labs.
He was also trying to raise the alarm through the EAC as well to try and say, hey, we need to do better in this.
There are some things that just aren't right that we could be doing a better job of.
And I've really kind of appreciated his coming forth and validating the things that I've been putting out there for the last couple of years, where he is basically saying, yes, this is absolutely right.
And he's even brought specifics out there as well.
His testimony in Georgia was absolutely stunning.
And the work that he's done on other cases across the United States, I can't believe it's being ignored by Secretary of States and legislatures because they sit there thinking that our elections are safe and secure.
And then there's these memos that come out from CISA and Homeland Security saying this was the best election ever.
And I'm like, holy cow, with what I know and what I've heard from Clay and Sean Smith and Tina Peters and other folks and what we saw in Colorado with Griswold posting the passwords out on our website.
So you're telling me if this is the best one, how bad has it been?
You know, and so even when we look at the workflow from your state, this was absolutely shocking to me, where we look at this, they say, oh, everything is air gapped.
We don't have to worry about anything within the state of Wyoming and other states.
And this is where it just becomes an absolute joke.
So ESNS has a web portal that has the election definitions that every time they update an election, a ballot layout, et cetera, the clerk or the election official goes on the website, logs in to their web portal to download the elections onto their county laptop or desktop from the internet.
They then put it on a thumb drive.
And in your state, I affectionately call this the cuddle buddy that sits next to your election systems, where that little sysdoor is not really certified to the due diligence.
And this is from one of your counties.
Crook County is the photo of this from last July.
And this thing is a thumb drive duplicator.
So they take that thumb drive from the internet and then duplicate it onto other thumb drives so that they can load those election definition files into the DS200s, the 450s, 850s.
Now, the other thing, too, is that as we're sitting there looking at some of these things that are on here, we looked online and the duplicator is assembled and tested in their warehouse.
There's no real standard here.
There's no military grade statement here.
And then we had, upon further investigation, we get this letter to your secretary, which basically kind of says, here's how we tested it.
And what's really disgusting about there is it just kind of says, testing was performed following the procedures outlined in the Wyoming Secretary of State's office document titled Election Media Sanitation Revision 628-2022.
Testing confirmed that the Sysdor unit successfully sanitized and format the tabulation equipment media and off-the-shelf USB drive.
Wait a minute.
Why would you be doing an off-the-shelf USB drive when we have a statement directly from ESNS and all of their manuals that say something, I don't know, like this, that, wait a minute here.
This is the wrong one.
This is the other security updates.
I'll get the right one in here for you, but it basically states in their own manuals that look if you make any change whatsoever to a system, you have in essence just decertified your system.
And so that is where it gets really disgusting when we see stuff like this, this little magic.
And so here's that disclaimer.
Right in their disclaimer, those of you who are election officials, please go to your manuals and verify that this is there.
It says United States Election Assistance Commission notification for approved voting system.
In accordance with the United States Election Assistance Commission Testing and Certification Program Manual version 2.0, ESNS hereby notifies the purchaser that any changes or modifications to an EAC approved voting system, which have not been tested and certified by the EAC will void the EAC certification for such EAC approved voting system.
So the next connecting piece we really need state legislatures to do is to understand that statement and then create the next part.
You make a change to the system.
You can't use the system and you have to go to hand count.
Amen.
That would be awesome.
So that's my recommendation that needs to be done to the laws in all 50 states.
Because if we really want to secure and protect our systems, we have to be serious about it.
Statutorily, we're not serious about it.
We don't have the teeth in many of our states to actually protect our elections.
Right.
And some of the things.
Go ahead.
I'm just going to say, and some of the other things that we found that goes along with that disclaimer in our adventure and finding things out in Wyoming is they don't use the specified Delcon thumb drives.
They also don't use the certified ballot on demand systems.
They're saying that they're using over-the-counter stuff.
And they were sold a bill of goods that weren't certified at the time and weren't qualified in EAC in their certification.
So we're just finding so many things.
And if you go back to that disclaimer that you just read, that makes these systems null and void, just according to that and our statute, or excuse me, in our contract.
So it's quite enlightening to, I guess, those of us that are looking and want to find answers, but it seems that those that are not looking and don't want to find answers and want to keep status quo going don't don't seem to think Think that's important and that, and that's sad.
That's in not just in Wyoming, that's I'm sure across the United States as well.
Yeah, it is.
And I look at my own state, South Dakota.
I actually tried, well, I actually did.
I filed five complaints to my state board of elections, and they basically said they didn't have the authority to do so.
And I disagree with them.
That one of the complaints, I was literally asking for them to request an engineering change order to update the antivirus.
And they're basically claiming that they don't have the authority.
Are you kidding me?
Don't you have common sense to try and protect our elections and at least ask?
I'm asking you to write a simple letter, you know, an email, do something to basically put these vendors on notice to say, look, here we are in South Dakota with an antivirus that is way back in March of 2019 on four of the laptops that do election night reporting and handle the cast vote records, and you don't care to update the security of it.
I'm not okay with that.
That's just negligence, straightforward.
And I would really appreciate more election officials and IT departments to really start coming forward and making a demand to say, we don't want this risky system in our ecosystem around because the problem with that is if you take that thumb drive from an unsecured election system and you bring that into the county and it impacts the county,
now we've got a whole host of issues.
And there's still one case that I'm still curious to find out in one of the states where a bunch of these cast vote records were missing, ballot images were missing, the reports were missing.
I'm hoping to get to the bottom of that hopefully this spring and summer to find out what actually happened in this location where all these election records were gone because it just doesn't make any sense.
And at the same time, this county had a ransomware that attacked the rest of their county machines.
And so I wonder: was there some type of cross-pollination from the county system into the election systems that caused some of these issues?
And if that's the case, that speaks volumes.
And we know thumb drives are going back and forth between this equipment, and that's just not acceptable.
We saw it in South Dakota.
We saw it in Wyoming.
We saw it in Minnesota.
We saw it in Wisconsin.
And so, and we've heard of reports in South Carolina, Ohio, Texas.
And so, and especially this year on the Vocal Lab, we found it in many more states that people were observing this.
So, this whole thing about, oh, it's all air gapped.
Sorry, it's a lie.
And ESNS has no control.
They have not good formal training on this.
And we are relying on non-computer experts to try and carry out these elections.
And even with the simple test act, they're failing.
They're just failing in spades.
So, right.
We do have to do it right.
And when another prime example of having questions is when I was in the auditing canvassing auditing board after the elections, when we were double-checking, we were doing an audit of 75, which is statutorily the minimum in Wyoming to do, which to me is horrifying.
Why are we doing the statutorily minimum?
Anyway, while we were doing that, number one, we had a window pop up on the bottom right corner that said it needed a Windows update.
And of course, the clerk clicked it off and said, oh, now you know that it's not connected to the system, to the internet.
And then the window popped up again.
And it was asking again for probably the antivirus.
I couldn't quite see the second picture, but or the second windows, but he immediately shut it down again and went on to the next aspect of that.
So there are some corruption in there through this by this thumb drive that gets downloaded from the encrypted site, which, you know, we all know how well encryption works because everybody gets hacked every day.
So even your major corporations.
So, I mean, that's just more evidence.
And we also had one in our primary that had that same thing over in another county.
So we have vulnerabilities.
We have tremendous vulnerabilities.
Right.
And so what's really interesting too is let's look at one of the great cases in Wyoming that happened during the general election.
So it's interesting up in Weston County.
Here is kind of the lead article that basically kind of popped up where Weston County election miscount has locals and Chuck Gray Irate.
Chuck Gray is the Secretary of State of Wyoming.
And what was interesting is that they had to investigate how more than 1,100 votes were not counted in a state house race on election day.
I love how the media basically says, oh, this was inconsequential.
It really didn't have anything.
They jump to that right away.
Well, the reality is that's a lie.
They don't understand that sometimes there is bragging rights for the number of votes that you get within your district, and that may affect the pecking order of seniority and/or the placement in leadership positions within the legislature.
And for them to sit there and dismiss this is just not genuine, lack of understanding.
And I just find it completely corrupt because what they don't point to is that this could happen anywhere.
And what's interesting is that Chip Nyman was basically running in two counties.
And the one county looked normal, but this one looked way off.
And basically, what it was saying is that he only received just 15% of the votes cast for him in the House District 1 race, even though he was running unopposed.
And then nearly all of the 80% were marked as not voting in that race.
And she comes forward, the county clerk, and says, oh, this was a protest vote.
Well, we find out that's not true.
And this gentleman, Chip Nyman, is now the leader of your house, right?
That is correct.
That is correct.
So now we had the popular vote, but we had errors.
Yeah.
And then that wasn't the only race that had errors.
There was a commissioner race.
And there's two other, I thought.
Okay.
Yep.
And then the other issue with this is it was a ballot design issue where she left off the term of office in the race.
And so it shifted the ballots down.
But then she mixed in old ballots and new ballots and didn't properly test the machines.
So she ended up with just a huge mess on her hands.
Yep, that is correct.
Now, it ended up that there were some discussions and everything that they had with the district, or excuse me, the county attorney, and they opted to do some hand counting, which is when they actually found the other challenges that they went over in the other races.
So there you go.
A hand count helped reveal some challenges.
My concern that I wanted to put in on this was: number one, their first, second, first and second things that they did was to try to either belittle or cover up.
This is not acceptable, not in any way, shape, or form.
So, with this challenge that we had in Wyoming, we found that we've had multiple challenges in the other counties as well.
Their first thing is to downplay it.
Oh, it's nothing, so on and so forth.
And I guess to me, that is a neon sign to me to go, okay, I'm honing in on this, finding out the answer.
Yep, so perfect.
Thank you so much for the update in Wyoming.
And so, we talked, or I brought up last week some of the things to look for in: do I ask for a recount in my race?
This is part of that evidence out there.
So, those logic and accuracy tests are so important.
Looking at races that just are unexplainable, those are all reasons why to take a second look at an election, and nobody should be afraid of that.
And so, 100% post-election audit is not obscene.
It is not disgusting.
It helps ensure the integrity of our elections, and no one should be afraid of that.
I'm Rick Weibel.
Thank you, Jill Coffin from Wyoming.
America, happy Thanksgiving.
Safe travels.
I'll see the rest of you tomorrow night.
And America, God bless you.
Stay awesome.
And hopefully, we'll see you tomorrow night.
