Leftists Melt Down Over Stephen Miller, Katy Perry's Hypocrisy, and Toprah Interviews Mom, with Emily Jashinsky | Ep. 1240

Megyn Kelly and Emily Jashinsky dissect the Minnesota immigration standoff, where Minneapolis refuses ICE cooperation despite diplomatic overtures from Governor Tim Walz. They condemn leftists like Kara Swisher for comparing Stephen Miller to Heinrich Himmler while ignoring death threats against his family, contrasting this with the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum's rebuke of Walz. The discussion highlights leaked Signal chats showing activist coordination in Alex Predi's killing and criticizes nurses Melinda Cook and Lexi Lawler for threatening patients, noting the American Nurses Association's selective outrage. Kelly further attacks CBS anchor Tony DeCoppol for omitting riot footage and prioritizing soft-focus segments over credible journalism on crises like Ukraine and Syria, arguing such bias endangers public trust and safety. Hey everyone, I'm Megyn Kelly.
Welcome to the Megyn Kelly Show.
President Trump is talking to top Democrats in Minnesota about de-escalating tensions, while leftists, from celebrities to podcasters, are making increasingly insane statements.
I mean, truly, like I don't know if there is tamping down the lunacy over there.
Plus, Ilan Omar confronted while giving public remarks in a very strange incident.
Some guy with a syringe, like pushing out some sort of weird liquid onto her.
The people who are present say it smelled like vinegar.
Thankfully, she was fine, but it's a very odd situation.
I have to say, she handled it very well.
It would be very disconcerting to have some large man come over to you with a syringe and shoot anything on you.
And she was pretty defiant.
So I got to give her points.
Here to react to all of this and more, Emily Jashinsky, host of After Party with Emily Jashinsky on the MK Media Podcast Network.
You can find it live tonight on YouTube at 10 p.m. Eastern.
She's got Adam Carolla joining her.
These are two people we love.
You should watch this 10 p.m. live on YouTube tonight, as well as she hosts the Megan Kelly wrap-up show here on SiriusXM, Channel 111, right after this show.

Okay, so we'll get to Ilan Omar in a minute, but I don't know, I'm not sure how well it's going out in Minnesota.
You know, we covered this on an AM update this morning where he sent Tom Holman out there, and Tom Holman says, Okay, the preliminary meetings went well.
He met with Governor Walls, who said, Okay, you'll get the full cooperation of Minnesota.
And he wrote this piece in the Wall Street Journal saying, We already cooperate with ICE at the state level, which is a way of skirting the real issue because they don't cooperate with ICE at the county or city level.
And the whole issue here is Minneapolis, which is a sanctuary city and doesn't cooperate with ICE at all.
So ICE is now making these demands.
the White House is making these demands, cooperate with us, give us the guys who are getting released from jail who are illegals, give us the guys who get arrested and are like in the holding cells who are illegal, work with us to arrest illegals on whom we have an ICE detainer and let us know, right?
If you guys get anybody in custody with an ICE detainer.
All of that is barred by Minneapolis's sanctuary city policies.
Like it's a no because they're a sanctuary city and Mayor Fry is not going to reverse that.
I don't even know if he can reverse that because it's policy there.
And so now today, President Trump comes out and says, well, could somebody please explain to Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Fry who said he's not going to help us in enforcing federal immigration law, that that's against the law?
Well, I mean, we're back at square one.
We know that.
It's called a sanctuary city.
They're very fucking annoying.
They're the reason we're having all these problems.
What it tells me, as we reported in this morning AM update, is the mayor hasn't budged one inch.
They want Noam gone.
They wanted Bovino gone.
Eventually, they're going to say they want Holman gone.
They're saying, fine, you can send Holman here, but they haven't done a thing.
So Wallace is in the Wall Street Journal saying, oh, will we cooperate at the state level?
Well, that's not what they've been asking for.
This is like a fig leaf.
It feels like no progress has been made and it kind of feels like no progress will be made.
Meantime, they're storming the Minneapolis Capitol building, demanding every single ICE agent be removed, all two to 3,000 of them.
And now the MAGA base is looking at Trump saying, did you bend?
Are you bending?
Like, don't bend.
And Trump, of course, is saying, no, I will never bend.
But how are we working with these fools who aren't budging one inch on the very thing that made us send ICE there to begin with?
So this is partially what's been so frustrating is that if Jacob Fry and Tim Walz wanted to do their part in a de-escalation effort and Democrats in the state of Minnesota writ large, they could be saying, all right, let's rethink these policies because we've seen the examples coming out of Minnesota.
There are people who leave the county jails, the city jails, and they have records.
They've been convicted of things in the past.
They are non-citizens.
So every crime they commit in Minnesota, the people of Minnesota are dealing with preventable crimes.
100% of non-citizen crime is preventable.
And so if they wanted to do their part, they could be out there leading with policies that would change it.
But actually what Jacob Fry posted, I was just looking it up on X the other day, was that we should, this was in his thread after he talked to Donald Trump.
This is, I think, a truly remarkable quote from him.
He says, violent criminals should be held accountable based on the crimes they commit, not based on where they are from, which is just a slap in the face to citizens.
Even liberal citizens, progressive citizens, that's a slap in your face.
Where is this going to go?
Because truly, Minneapolis, what President Trump is basically asking Minneapolis is to reverse its sanctuary city status.
They're not going to do that.
They're just not.
I mean, the sanctuary city of Minneapolis, the policy is we don't have to help the feds do a thing on immigration enforcement.
And that's basically, he's correct.
Like they can't interfere as a city with federal immigration enforcement.
It is not okay for the government of Minneapolis to try to thwart ICE enforcement, but they don't actually have to help, right?
And then now President Trump can use carrots and sticks to try to make them help, but it's not, as far as I understand, technically illegal for them not to help.
It's a federal enforcement obligation.
This is why states like Texas got in trouble in the Joe Biden years when they tried to pass laws that were more stringent than the feds had.
And the U.S. Supreme Court said, you can't do that, unfortunately, because this is a federal responsibility.
Now Trump's doing his duty, trying to enforce that federal responsibility.
But Minneapolis cannot be made to help.
And we're asking for such minor help.
We're basically saying, if there's someone in prison for committing a crime who's also an illegal before, and they serve their time and you're about to release them out on the streets, please call us.
We have a federal ICE detainer on them.
Call us so we can just eject them back to El Salvador.
And also, if you pull over somebody for DWI and they're in jail as opposed to prison, like they're just in the holding cell prior to a trial and all that, and they've got a federal ICE detainer on them because they're an illegal, please call us because we like to deport them.
And then there's this third piece, which is if we have an ICE detainer on someone who has not yet been apprehended in Minneapolis, who either has an additional crime he's wanted for or not, please help us find him.
And they are not going to help with any of that, Emily.
They haven't been helping with any of that because of their sanctuary cities status and they're not going to.
Do you see Mayor Fry giving up any of those?
No, absolutely not.
Absolutely not.
And this is another point where he says violent criminals should be held accountable based on the crimes they commit, not based on where they're from, where they're from.
He's also saying that about plain criminals because that's what's happening.
You have people coming out of the county and city jails and they've put their foot down over and over again over the course of years now in sanctuary jurisdictions around the country.
They're absolutely not budging.
And my sense is that what we've seen from the administration over the last like 48, 72 hours is a kind of reckoning with the reality that the sanctuary cities have not been pressured in the court of public opinion because I think a lot of people forget how or don't even know how wealthy and deep blue the Minneapolis area is.
If you're not from the Midwest, I think people don't fully realize that is like a magnet for hardened progressives from around the area.
And they make really good money.
There are a ton of corporate headquarters in the Minneapolis area.
So this is like the Democratic Party's new Trump era base.
That is where they are.
They're in places like Minneapolis and its suburbs.
And so there's not going to be political momentum.
The Daily Mail was out with a poll today that found actually the plurality of people blame the administration for the chaos in Minneapolis rather than blaming the anti-ICE protesters or Jacob Fry and Tim Walz.
So when you see something like that happening, I think, you know, Donald Trump has pretty good political instincts and is realizing that there just needs to be a new approach because basically the court of public opinion is going against them.
Whether or not we think that's fair, it's what's happening and Fry isn't going to budge.
Yeah.
Like I would love to say Tom Holman will solve this, but I'm not sure he's going to because if this is the new, even if the new White House approach is, okay, we'll just focus on the ones who are also criminals for another reason.
You know, they didn't just violate immigration law.
They committed another crime.
Fry is not going to help him with those either.
And like, so maybe there's some rural counties that aren't sanctuary in Minnesota.
I don't know, but that's not going to get her done.
So I'm not really sure where this is going.
I understand why the MAGA hardliners are like, you're going to have to surge.
You actually are going to have to consider Insurrection Act.
There's no way of fulfilling this mission that doesn't involve doubling or tripling down because the foot little lighter on the gas pedal approach is not going to do a thing in Minneapolis.
Not one thing.
They won't help you.
This mayor will not help.
And neither will the mayor of St. Paul or the other major cities in Minnesota.
So Governor Wallace can say all he wants that Minnesota isn't technically a sanctuary state.
That's true, but it has tons of sanctuary policies.
The issue is these big cities.
And in the meantime, Emily, there's a report today that now Democrats are considering a bill that would require a judicial criminal warrant for any ICE arrest.
So in other words, they want They want to require a federal judge to have to sign a warrant for the arrest of any illegal or they're not going to, or they can't be arrested, which would basically mean amnesty for every single illegal in America who hasn't committed an additional crime.
That's insane.
I mean, thank God it will never pass.
I mean, the Republicans control the House, the Senate, and the White House right now, but it's a poison pill.
And they're trying to tack it on here in like the latest spending bill.
They basically want to do anything they can to sort of queer the latest round of spending and to say, we're not going to fund ICE because even though we said we would fund this spending bill, we don't want them getting more money.
Oh, and by the way, okay, we'll do it just as long as you agree.
No more arrests of any illegals unless they've committed additional felonies.
I mean, like they're going so radically left on it that they're risking turning those poll numbers, which have now turned in their favor, back around the other way.
That is exactly the pattern that happened during the first Trump administration.
We started to see abolish ICE catch wind on the Democratic side.
And when that happened, Biden wildly overplayed the party's hand.
But that's because what they ultimately want, their limiting principle is amnesty or a pathway to citizenship or open borders.
Now, some of the far-left anti-ICE activists are just open borders people.
If you go to the Minnesota Ice Watch Instagram page, they're against colonialism.
Okay, well, that's basically you saying that you're as far left as can be and likely just don't believe in the concept of nation-state borders, which is a different argument than what most of the country wants to see implemented with the surge that we're still dealing with from the Biden era, where you had an average, according to the New York Times, of like 2.4 million people.
I think that's a low estimate, coming in every single year.
And these are magnet policies for that.
When Joe Biden started giving people these long asylum waiting periods where their hearings would be three, five years in the future, and I was looking at some of the paperwork myself done in Texas at the time, that was a magnet.
It drew people there.
The sanctuary cities and jurisdictions are one of the magnets that is preventing people from self-deporting, even though the Trump administration has, this has been their best immigration policy, a robust self-deportation program that is more than fair.
Well, why aren't people doing that?
In some cases, because they believe they're going to be protected from deportation in sanctuary cities where every time ICE tries to make an arrest, there are whistles blowing.
Scapegoats and False Promises 00:15:44
The works are being totally gummed up.
The reason, by the way, that immigration policy is federal is because the people of Minnesota are just as vulnerable as Lake and Riley was.
That guy came from New York.
The man who killed Lake and Riley came from New York and went to Georgia.
That's why immigration policy is federal because we have a national border.
Yes, we have state borders, but people come into the country.
They come into the United States and our federal immigration law is what counts in that case because the people of Minnesota or the people of Minnesota, the people of their neighboring states where any of these people could go, where these migrants could go to, deserve to be protected.
And Trump was Democratically elected.
People hate it.
He was Democratically elected.
Either way, it doesn't matter if you hate it.
He's there.
And he still has a mandate to deal with immigration.
So I don't know, Megan, I think Christy Noam is genuinely vulnerable right now because some of what the reckoning with this public opinion, the court of public opinion might be is that the aggressive public relations media approach was distracting from substance on the ground.
That's my sense of where people within the internal tug of war are going in the administration.
To me, to me, Christy Noam committed the same sin that Pam Bondi did, which is she got on TV and overstated what was real, what we actually knew, what was actually happening behind the scenes.
Pam Bondi, the Epstein client list is on my desk.
No, it wasn't.
You know, I've got tens of thousands of videos of him with child pornography, making it sound like it was Epstein, you know, with child pornography as opposed to like commercial child pornography that he was looking at on his computer.
None of it's good.
I'm just saying her language around it was very loose and she misstated a bunch of things.
And we still don't totally understand what happened there and then came out and under delivered.
And Christy Noam, her sin was even more serious.
Though, you know, let's face it, Epstein was like at a fever pitch.
So it was extremely volatile for Pam Bondi to comment on it in the way she did.
But Christy Noam's talking about life or death situations where we're talking about our federal government killing American citizens.
So if anything, you want to be really careful in what you say.
And I believe Christy Noam's motivation was, okay, I was told this by some Border Patrol guy and I want to run cover for my guys, you know, before the narrative spins out against them.
But unfortunately, you can't do that by running with made up facts before you know what's real.
And the stuff about, you know, Petty or Predty brandishing a weapon and wanting to kill law enforcement and being a domestic terrorist.
Now, that one, that last one actually is still up for debate.
We're learning more about Predi.
But those other statements were not supported at all.
And so she made herself look like a liar, which means she made DHS look like liars, which means she made the Customs and Border Patrol guys look even worse than they did, you know, just from the shooting alone.
I mean, it really is, it is a scandal.
There's no question.
Well, and there was a leak to Axios where four separate sources said Stephen Miller is the one who came up with that line of attack that Christy Noam aggressively went into the media.
Greg Bovino repeated.
And what that tells me is Gnome World is a little bit nervous about her station in the administration if you're out there leaking with sources.
I mean, this is just my guess as to how that made its way into Axios.
But if you're, it looks like someone is looking for a scapegoat and is trying to say, well, this wasn't Christy's idea.
Now, by the time she spoke, Megan, regular people around the country had seen this on their social media 10 times over.
There were already like five different angles, 10 videos.
And just the idea that you would say somebody having two magazines amounts to wanting to commit a massacre or something like that.
I mean, common sense.
It doesn't matter if Stephen Miller is.
Well, for which there was no evidence.
Right, right.
And it doesn't matter if Stephen Miller is.
It's like there's a lot of zero evidence that he wanted to commit a massacre, none whatsoever, which was again, like her Karnak powers to glean what was in Alex Predi's mind were also overstated.
I do want to state for the record, it wasn't Stephen Miller who leaked back to Axios.
I mean, it may have been.
I'm just saying he wasn't on the record as the leaker, but he responded or somebody on his behalf responded to that report.
And Axios saying nothing, no talking points from the White House on what happened to Alex Predi originated with the White House.
They all originated with Border Patrol, which would make sense.
I mean, honestly, let's just think it through it.
There's no way Stephen Miller is just like sitting in his office like, I'm just going to say this guy was on the hunt for law enforcement and that he brandished a gun.
Like he's not an idiot.
He would not have done that if he hadn't been told facts that might support that.
But whoever did it got way ahead of their skis and wound up making the administration look bad.
No, that's super interesting because that implicates Bovino, who has clearly been seen as a scapegoat, right?
Like he's back in California out of Minneapolis and he was commander at large of customs and border protection.
So that they would point the finger at Bovino actually makes a lot of sense.
And maybe it was Bovino for all we know, but maybe that's partially why he was basically yanked.
That would make sense.
That's exactly, I mean, think about it.
None of those guys involved in the actual Alex Predty shooting is talking to Stephen Miller.
The odds of that are extremely slim.
But somebody like Bovino would be.
It would be somebody higher up in the command chain.
And I mean, I can see a situation where Stephen Miller was involved in messaging.
He's usually very good at it.
So I don't know what happened here, but clearly Trump thinks Noam and Bovino are to blame, or at least in part, at least that they needed to go in order to give the public some sort of scalp because the overstatements were so egregious.
That's why they're gone.
I don't know that they would be gone if they had just stuck to the facts and said it's a very unfortunate incident.
There's no question that this guy was impeding law enforcement efforts, which is why he came into the crosshairs of law enforcement.
As for what happened and why the triggers were pulled, we have to let the investigation play out.
I mean, that was the thing to say.
Trump, ironically, who's not exactly known for being really good about controlling all of his messaging, although he can surprise you.
He was very judicious in what he said.
Holman was too.
It was Noam and Bovino who got way ahead of their skis and are now going to pay for it.
But here's the other problem, Emily.
This is just on the heels of Renee Goode getting shot and killed.
And Christy Noam made some statements after she was killed that people thought were outrageous when they saw like just the first videotape.
I mean, even when I saw Christy Noam's first statement and I had only seen the first angle of the Renee Good shooting, I was like, these don't match up.
I don't know what she's saying.
And it wasn't until I saw the video of her car hitting the officer from the front where you saw she hit him and you saw him sort of like get moved off to the side of her front driver's side headlight that I was like, okay, now I actually see what Christy Noam is saying.
But so the left went with the original statement, thinking it was an overstatement and that it didn't match the original tape and ran with like, she's not credible.
This is crazy.
You don't lie about a government killing of an American citizen and you really don't do it when there's a videotape that shows you it's not true.
Now they refused to accept that there were other angles that actually did support Christy Noam.
And there were all sorts of reasons why they did that.
And okay, fine.
But then to have her do it in a far worse fashion two weeks later, you know, in a way that's clearly not true.
Yeah, she, I mean, she shot herself in the foot.
Well, and it's, it's a, I think Trump has very sharp political instincts in cases like this.
It's where Christy Noam can end up losing the public trust on one of Donald Trump's.
I mean, she was, she is in that job because Trump saw her as an excellent messenger for his mass deportation campaign.
And you need, you badly need the trust of the public in order to carry out a mass deportation campaign.
It's obviously true that the Biden era surge was the largest since Ellis Island, one of, if not the largest in American history.
I mean, a staggering amount, multiple states, populations cobbled together, imported into the United States in about three years.
Yes, you're going to need a significant reversal campaign.
And so you also, though, because that's so many people, you know, you have tens of thousands of people at minimum who are in the country who do not want to leave the country.
And so whatever you do, you are going to need the public's trust in order to carry out an operation like that, which is why Christy Noam did not have a lot of room for error.
And now within a month's time period, she's made two pretty significant, especially this latter one, mistakes that have some folks looking back on the last 12 months of the broader campaign for mass deportations, saying, was this all for show?
Was a lot of this like smoke and mirrors, public relations?
What's going on?
And so now she's going to have to face a lot of questions, even from the right, about why there haven't been even more deportations.
People were already upset about that.
And on top of all of this, while I'll defend the Border Patrol shooting of Alex Predty all day long, because I genuinely believe that it was a case of mistaken, it's called imperfect self-defense or defense of others, where you genuinely believe that somebody else's life is in danger, like your fellow officers, or that your life is in danger.
And that's why you fire, but you're wrong, right?
That's what imperfect self-defense is.
I genuinely believe this is a case of that.
I don't think those Border Patrol agents wanted to kill Alex Predi, just thought it'd be fun to fire 10 shots at him.
I think they were scared.
They got into a confrontation with him.
He was resisting.
Someone yelled gun, gun, gun, and the others panicked.
I think that's what happened.
They thought he was actually firing, and gun, gun, gun meant like he was brandishing, which he wasn't.
I think this shooting will be upheld as a lawful shooting, but it's not a good one.
In other words, it's not a clean one where he actually was threatening to shoot the officers.
And so you add that in to the fact that the facts against Predty were overstated by Noam.
And now it's really like tempers are really flaring.
I mean, people are very angry.
But those same people have no reasonable gauge to say, how would I have reacted?
How if I'm a border protection agent out there where my fellow agents in ICE are getting fingers bitten off by these lunatics?
We're under attack all day.
We're getting injured, where we're bleeding out of our nose and our eyes and our mouths.
Nobody comes to help us.
They're firing at us.
And this guy shows up.
He's resisted ICE.
We later found out that he had a confrontation with ICE five Border Patrol agents or ICE agents a week before.
So he's clearly an agitator.
He's in their face.
They don't know what he's capable of.
And then they see and hear gun, gun, gun.
You know, you're, it's a very, it's a powder keg.
So like if these same people who are mad about the Christy Noam messaging and the fact that Alex Predty is dead could understand, could be reasonable on understanding that piece of it, maybe we could talk.
But that's not where they are at all.
Right.
And is Operation MetroSurge, the continuing operation in Minneapolis, having an effect on morale at CBP and ICE that's actually going to hamper the entire process going forward?
Ken Klippenstein, who's on the left, was getting all of these leaks from people inside CBP and ICE who are just completely demoralized, have said it's been a bad experience.
None of them, he said maybe only one of them is somebody who leans left.
But these are people who signed up to do deportations and enforce immigration law in the country.
And that's again where Christy Noam, who is the leader, even if she was in that job for being a effective messenger, as Trump once saw her, you have to lead this massive bureaucratic organization that does include morale.
And was this mishandled in a way that has caused so much, what's the right word?
Just Disillusionment among your rank and file officers because they're being constantly harassed.
And Minnesota's not giving up.
They want their sanctuary jurisdiction.
They want people in their community.
And as you pointed out after this happened, Megan, is the better answer to just let them have their sanctuary jurisdiction and focus on other areas of the country?
Maybe you can keep focusing on getting the violent people who are let out of their jails.
Keep booking them, keep bringing them in.
But do you need to have this operation in the street?
Or should you go elsewhere?
I think that's a pretty obvious question.
But I think the only way you can do that, the only way you could say, all right, you know, let them have it, is if you amp up how bad it is.
Like, I don't think we can have like the no-go zones like they have in the UK here, where we just, we can't go in there and arrest people.
Because as you point out earlier, you know, it's the United States of America.
You can travel from state to state.
And if this could just stay Minneapolis' problem, I'd be all for that.
But that's not how the United States works.
You can go from state to state without a passport, without a driver's license.
You can go wherever the hell you want here.
Thank God.
So I think you'd have to build in additional punishments for Minnesota if you were going to do that.
Like, like I was saying the other day, and this is just off the top of my head, but like you'd have to say to all asylum seekers in the United States, we will not consider your application unless you're in Minneapolis.
We are not accepting any asylum applications unless you can prove you've been living in Minneapolis.
So you create an incentive for them to flood the field there.
Don't leave out St. Paul.
They could also live in St. Paul.
Yeah, St. Paul too, exactly.
Like there, there would be ways potentially of incentivizing illegals to move to Minneapolis.
You know, if you were clever about it, you could sit and find a few more.
I was thinking about that the other day.
And I'm sorry.
I love my listening audience in Minneapolis and Minnesota, but you're going to have to move.
Same as I had to move from New York City because they went too far left.
You're going to have to leave because you're being ruled by a bunch of morons.
I mean, by absolute Cretans like Jacob Fry.
So I'm sorry, this is the price you may have to pay.
So you couldn't just do it like, okay, it's a no-go zone.
We're going to allow it.
You'd have to create built-in pain in order for this to work.
But I do think that's a potential next move for the president.
And there's carrots and sticks.
And I also don't know.
I mean, as generous as I think our self-deportation offer is, and it is very generous and it's maddening for people who are still, you know, risking their kids' future and using taxpayer funds to feed the children they came into the United States and had because they're on WIC and SNAP, all while risking at some point, you know, their asylum hearing going the right way, even though they're economic migrants, whatever it is.
As maddening as it is that people are choosing not to comply, is there a carrot option that includes doubling the self-deportation help, the $1,000 bonus?
They should.
Yeah, because it might actually be cheaper.
I'm totally in favor of increasing the money we give them to get out.
Yeah, it might be cheaper.
I know it burns, but it doesn't burn more than seeing them stay here and commit crime against us.
Get them out.
A Vicious Immigration Cycle 00:04:42
Get out.
Look at all the money we gave you, Ukraine.
Let's give that to the illegals for a one-way ticket to El Salvador.
Plus, there is some culpability on the part of not the Trump administration, but the Biden administration for making false promises to millions of people who paid cartels to traffic them up through Central America and into Mexico, wait desperately in cartel towns on the border just for a shot to get their CBP1 appointment or their asylum ticket, leave detention because that's what the Biden administration allowed them to do, and then make their homes in the United States of America.
So I honestly, even if it's not cheaper, for a lot of these people, I know that folks on the right who are supportive of mass deportation, like myself, look at that and say, you got to be kidding me.
This is my money.
At the same time, the Biden administration was just completely shameful and an embarrassment to the United States when you have these Cubans and Venezuelans who are legitimately fleeing authoritarianism.
Some of them economic migrants, absolutely.
But others were told that they would have opportunity in the United States.
So I don't think it's the end of the world to double those bonuses.
No, I'm thinking of like, you know, my mother-in-law had an enormous cell phone tower built. right in front of her property and she did not want that at all.
Who would?
And, you know, she objected, but what could she do?
The town did it and she was stuck with it.
Well, if that happened to you, and this is not what happened, but if that happened to you and you then grew a big tumor on your face, would you say, I'm so pissed now I have this tumor and I blame the city.
I'm just going to sit here and blame the city.
Or would you spend the 10 grand to have the tumor removed from your face and just say, I'm not going to live the rest of my life like this.
I've got to sort of cut my losses here.
I think most of us would pay if we could to get rid of the tumor.
The tumor has arrived.
It's here.
It's in the form of some 10 to 20 million illegals.
They're killing American citizens.
They're hurting.
They're molesting children.
So they need to go.
And if we have to pay some money in order to get rid of them, so be it.
Again, we just, what was the latest tranche to Ukraine?
$60 billion?
We can spend a few on getting rid of these illegals.
I did want to make one point about the asylum claims because that was one of the most infuriating things during the Biden administration.
And frankly, prior to Biden, we said they, it's only a valid asylum claim, potentially, if they show up at a port of entry and declare that they're seeking asylum.
They can't run across the border in Laredo, Texas, sneak in past the barbed wire, and then claim asylum, which is what a lot of them do.
Those are out.
All of those are out.
But what's been happening and what absolutely was happening all the time under Biden was they'd come in correctly or incorrectly, say, I'm seeking asylum.
Then they get an asylum date that Joe Biden gave five and in some cases 10 years out, which is a permission slip to stay here.
Of course, it's a welcome slip.
And then in the vast majority of the cases, asylum is denied.
These immigration judges are not idiots.
They know what's happening.
The vast majority say denied.
But then they send them out the back of the courthouse and it's honor system.
So go back home, which they never do.
Only under Trump and Stephen Miller are they changing all of that.
Who applied for asylum with the most ridiculous case ever?
Kilmar Obrego Garcia, who had been in the United States so long that he had a child.
This is so many cases just like that.
There's so many cases like that, because then the child is an American citizen and you create a family separation problem that becomes a PR nightmare.
And it's a vicious, vicious cycle.
So that gets to why there are people on the streets in Minneapolis, just like normal, seeming middle class people.
You know, they're not all blue-haired weirdos.
And I think the right should take that seriously.
They're genuinely like people who are relatively normal, who are not liking what they've seen in Minneapolis so much so that they want to do something and go out.
And I think a lot of them are woefully misinformed, but it's because of that vicious cycle.
And so if there's a carrot method to start relieving the bureaucratic burden, the economic burden on especially people in the low income bracket who are now competing for wages with folks who are willing to take money under the table and all of that, if you want to start relieving the burden, then maybe it's cheaper, easier, and less politically dangerous to start offering more carrots and putting the sticks, at least on the back burner, for nonviolent offenders.
Stephen Miller as Terrorist 00:15:38
I don't think anybody wants to see people going light on violent criminals, but otherwise, maybe there are better carry options.
Maybe Jacob.
No one on our side.
Yeah.
Yeah.
None of us reasonable people want that.
Yeah.
This just in, DHS is superb.
Bill Melugin, the immigration reporter for Fox.
DHS confirms to Fox that the Border Patrol agents involved in the deadly shooting of Alex Preddy in Minnesota have now been placed on administrative leave as part of standard protocol after a shooting.
Well, that's that's how it should be.
And that comes as we get new reporting about what actually happened in that shooting.
Now, Customs and Border Patrol agents have submitted a report to their overseers in the U.S. Congress.
CBS News got his hands on it and is reporting the following.
The way this thing went down was there was not an accidental discharge from Alex Predi's gun, which was some of the speculation.
One of the Border Patrol agents grabbed it and walked away with it.
And there was some discussion because it looked a little like it went off.
They're saying, no, that's not what happened.
They're saying what happened was two of the agents actually fired their guns.
Sure enough, it's as we said, he resisted.
A struggle ensued.
Someone yelled, an agent, Border Patrol, yelled, he's got a gun multiple times.
Approximately five seconds later, a Border Patrol agent discharged his official issued Glock 19, and another agent also discharged his Glock 47 at Predi.
After the shooting, a Border Patrol agent advised that he had possession of Predi's firearm.
And that'll really be the question.
Like after you, the one guy who took the gun, you know, we believe we see that agent in the gray coat take the gun from Alex Predi's back waistband.
We believe, again, that we'll have to wait for the official results to know.
But here it is.
This guy on the left reaches in and grabs it.
Standby.
And then somebody says gun, gun, gun.
And then you see the guy in the green pull his gun and then the shooting happens.
But in any event, they're saying that guy who pulled the gun apparently did not, at least it's not in the report, Emily, that he said something to the effect of like, I've got it, you know, or he's disarmed or something to take down the temperature.
Someone yelled at gun, gun, gun.
He's got a gun.
And within seconds, the shooting took place.
So look, I'm sure those Border Patrol agents would like to have that moment back.
You know, I don't think they'd be saying, yeah, he was clearly about to fire on me.
I think they misunderstood what was happening.
And I think they'll be fine criminally for the reasons I stated earlier, but that's why Christy Noam shouldn't have gotten out ahead of her skis and overstated what the facts showed about him brandishing and he wanted to kill as many law enforcement as he could.
And he went there with that intention and he's a domestic terrorist.
However, our fellow MK Media podcaster Mark Halperin says Christy Noam will not be fired.
Trump intimated yesterday she's not going anywhere.
And here's why.
Listen to Halperin in SOT 1B.
If you want to know why I'm relatively certain that the president is not going to fire Secretary Noam or that she's going to be forced out, despite a lot of speculation about that, she has the support, I'm told, of a friend of hers who's very influential with the president.
Her name is Melania Trump.
Melania Trump, I'm told, fully supports her friend Christy Noam and the president does too.
And the president said that on his departure from the White House today.
He said Secretary Noam's doing a great job and she's not going anywhere.
Well, that would be a good ally to have inside the White House.
I think so.
I'm a little bit more skeptical than Mark, but it could be more of an informal demotion because I don't think Donald Trump likes to take L's by firing people, particularly, especially in the second administration, because it would reflect on his judgment, would be some type of concession of error.
But I could just see him.
He doesn't like to give Democrats a scalp.
Right, right.
Yeah, exactly.
Which is why I was kind of surprised by the Bovino news.
And that maybe speaks to the level of discontent within the administration or the infighting, you know, that we are seeing these competing leaks about who gave the talking points to DHS and Noam and CBP and all of that.
But I could just see it being sort of she's her status is lessened and maybe they want someone else to take over the reins of maybe it's Holman.
I mean, I think probably it is clearly.
Do we know what she was doing there to begin with?
Like, why wasn't it Holman?
Holman's been in charge of the deportations, not Noam.
I know.
And there's this massive storm that was bearing down.
I mean, she's also in charge of FEMA, as she's pointed out a couple of times, and her alleys have pointed out a couple of times in the last few days.
So I don't understand it.
But my guess would be for publicity reasons, and that's not always a bad thing, right?
You want to get out in front of these stories.
You want to be on the ground saying, here's all of the people that we've gotten who are violent criminals and here's the success of the operation.
But when things go badly, that's the risk.
Because what happened was Nick Shirley broke the fraud story over the Christmas break.
And everyone was outraged.
And there was a lot of pushback against the administration saying, okay, you're outraged too.
What are you going to do about it?
Do something.
And then you've got the Christy Noam.
We're surging agents to Minneapolis.
And it was like, okay, great.
They're going to go into these learing center, supposed to be learning, you know, where they're collecting obviously false checks from the government for allegedly helping children.
And they're going to make a bunch of busts.
Now, that would be DHS and not Holman.
That's not a deportation thing.
That's a, you're a bunch of Somali fraudsters, half of whom are illegals committing fraud against us.
So that made some sense.
But instead, and Trump says that investigation is still well underway and we're not letting up on that at all.
But instead, at the same time, it was like surge of immigration enforcement troops in Minneapolis to do deportations, which always should have been a Holman thing, at least as I understood the administration's plan.
Meanwhile, it's not going well for the left in handling any of this.
And I'll just give you one example.
Here's, oh, the always perfectly reasonable Kara Swisher and her co-host, Scott Galloway, who normally is the more sane one between them.
Though I'm telling you, like, you know how they say you become like your friends?
Like, you really do have to watch who you hang out with because you become like them?
He needs to think about that.
Here is Kara Swisher on Stephen Miller on Tuesday, Saad 8.
And I would last like to call out Stephen Miller, who is in the center of this.
We always focus on Trump as we often focus on the top people.
But Stephen Miller, like a man named Ben Detsen, he was the one who created the internment camcorder Japanese Heinrich Himmler in the Nazi regime.
This is what he is.
And he, of course, Trump gets the most of the blame being at the top.
But people like Stephen Miller will go down in history as evil that had blood on his hands and should be jailed at the very end of this.
Okay, Emily.
Clearly she wants Stephen Miller dead.
And I posted that on X last night.
She's not going to be happy until Stephen Miller is killed.
Why else would you directly compare him to Himmler, the guy who came up with the extermination scheme for the Nazis, the guy who figured out if we gass them in these extermination chambers, that'll be a really efficient way of killing all these millions of Jews.
And so that our agents don't have to be disgusted by like shooting them and having guts and blood blow back on them.
That's Himmler.
That's the role he played under Adolf Hitler.
She's literally saying Stephen Miller is that guy.
I mean, that's fucking crazy talk and really truly incendiary stuff.
And why else would you say that?
Would you make a comparison?
And by the way, where are all like the Holocaust groups and so on?
Usually like they're all over you.
If you make any sort of a comparison to the Holocaust, even Tim Walsh got it worse for saying the kids in Minneapolis who are hiding are like the modern day Ann Frank.
But she can compare an American administration official who's trying to enforce our immigration laws to Himmler and not a peep?
I think we should hear a peep.
Is it just because she's a leftist?
What is it?
I don't know what the reason, or maybe she's just irrelevant.
But I'm sorry, that's too far.
That's beyond the pale.
I was going to say, I think the answer is that Kara Swisher is not nearly important enough to warrant a rebuke from, but you know, on the right, I think they would be eager to rebuke someone who made a direct Himmler comparison to a top person in the White House.
So she's basically saying the exact same thing as Tim Walsh.
I mean, there is like no daylight.
What she's saying might even be worse because she directly invoked Himmler.
So maybe we will see something from the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum because they're the ones who rebuked Walls over his Aunt Frank comparison.
And there's, again, very little daylight.
This is not just calling ICE the Gestapo.
This is going further and saying you are like someone who is engineering a genocide of people who you think are like biologically inferior.
It's really, really gross.
To your point, Megan, it always reminds me of what Tyler Robinson allegedly texted about how some hate can't be negotiated with.
I'm paraphrasing it, but that was the gist of it.
The language does get people hurt.
Yeah, you really need to be more careful than that.
And Stephen Miller, I happen to know, is already, he and his wife and their young kids, and she's pregnant, are already under daily death threats.
And not the mild kind, not like the, I'll come kill you.
I can't stand you kind, but like, this is exactly what I'm going to do to you.
I'm going to find you.
And, you know, like the ones that really seem to mean it.
And this is no way to live.
I mean, this guy's trying to clean up a mess that was not of his own making at all, trying to save the young girls from being molested and raped and thrown off bridges.
That's what Stephen Miller's trying to do.
And for it, he gets called Himmler by Kara Swisher, who is another rich bitch who has fucking no concerns whatsoever about security in her life and will never have to deal with the consequences of these violent illegals coming into her neighborhood and murdering her in her bathtub, like we talked about yesterday.
So here is the normally saner one, Scott Galloway, on the same podcast, SOP9.
What I'm suggesting is, and again, I've struggled with this my whole life, the difference between being right and being effective.
And we're angry, and I get it, protesting is powerful, promising them that there will be an accountability.
And I've said this, I think there should be something equivalent to the Nuremberg trials after this is all over.
I agree.
And to make it clear that once we're back in power, which we will be, this is going to happen.
And the statute of limitations on murder is never.
I mean, they're not kidding around.
Like, I actually believe you're hearing this more and more, that there's going to be some sort of trials of Trump administration officials after his term ends and of those who supported them.
And he mentions Nuremberg.
The audience knows I just watched that with Russell Crowe on, I don't know, I think it was Netflix.
Terrible.
Don't waste your time.
Very disappointing.
Remy Malik.
Yeah.
Remy Malik peaked in the documentary on Queen and Freddie Mercury.
He was great.
He was not great in this film.
I did not enjoy it.
But in any event, okay.
So, but the Nuremberg trials is where they came up with crimes against humanity.
This like amorphous, you're just evil and you should be hanged.
Okay.
And it worked.
It made perfect sense when you're dealing with actual Nazis.
But like that shit is not going to fly in the United States of America.
And if you want to go after a specific individual for murder, you know, I certainly don't think that that should happen to these Border Patrol agents, but like he's, you don't need Nuremberg for that.
Why are they mentioning Nuremberg, right?
Like that's, you go with made up new crimes against anybody who, quote, supported it.
Well, and again, we have seen two tragic U.S. citizen deaths, but we have seen two tragic deaths.
I hope it does not get worse, but to compare it to the Holocaust when we are talking about millions of people being genocided is absolutely insane and completely crazy, dangerous rhetoric, over the top, reckless, irresponsible.
But of course, Kara Swisher is one of the people who is constantly lecturing everybody else on the responsible way to do politics and to talk and to maintain the moral high ground and all of this, looks down her nose at MAGA and all of that.
And meanwhile, is comparing two very, very tragic deaths to a circumstance where you saw millions of people, millions of people dead.
It's completely insane and reckless.
And to use Nuremberg, again, you're talking about the same millions and millions of people who were genocided.
And I have to think you would be putting Obama and Biden in jeopardy if you tried to make some sort of case that Christy Noam or Stephen Miller or Greg Bovino or Donald Trump themselves were committing crimes against humanity with their immigration policies.
Because yes, Trump has escalated, absolutely.
But on a smaller scale, the Obama administration was handling immigration.
They were doing family separation.
These guys didn't care then.
They didn't care about those family separations.
Not at all.
And by the way, Obama droned an American citizen without apology.
And where's his Nuremberg trial?
That didn't happen.
Trump didn't drone an American citizen.
These were law enforcement officers out there being interfered with by a guy who then resisted arrest while happening to be armed, amping up the pressure and the stress on the officers all the more with these activists around them blowing the whistles.
And there's more evidence that this guy, Predty, was an activist too.
We'll get to the signal chat information that has just broken on him.
But I mean, you compare the two, like drones authorized by the U.S. president and individuals who are harassing law enforcement actually finding themselves on the wrong end of that fight.
It's two totally different situations, but Kara Swisher won't be calling for that.
All right, stand by.
There's a lot more to get to.
EJ stays with us.
Yeah.
Point is there were millions of people who were trafficked by cartels up to the border under the Biden administration, some of which was done with funding from the Biden government.
So there were no tears.
You and I talked about it during those years, but no tears from Kara Swisher or Scott Galloway at the time for that.
Or Natalie Portman.
All right, we'll be right back.
Hollywood's Graylisting Scandal 00:17:50
You know, Pure Talk's favorite holiday?
It's President's Day because they believe wireless service should only cost you a couple of presidents, just a Jackson and a Lincoln, to be exact.

10 p.m. You can watch it live.
And you should.
Okay, there's so much to do still.
And I think there's no better place to start than with Ethan Hawk.
All right.
Now, I know we're all feeling really sad about what's happened to Ethan Hawk.
If you don't know what's happened to Ethan Hawk, I'm going to let him tell it to you.
But it's very, very sad.
He spoke out Monday from the Sundance Film Festival.
You're feeling yourself well up already, aren't you?
Speaking to Variety, SOT 14.
I never felt scared about what I was going to say until the last couple of years.
Where you feel like, oh, I have to be careful.
Or what?
I don't know, but there's a kind of fear in the air that I've never felt before.
And it's not America.
To get to be an artist in a free country, that's that.
I've had enough of an education to know what privilege that is.
And I don't feel that way.
And that's something that has to change.
Okay, so he's feeling really scared to speak his mind under Trump 2.0.
I mean, we looked back just to see if there was evidence of him shying away from controversial topics out of his fear.
I mean, I totally take him at his word.
I'm sure he is really fearful of Trump.
We didn't have to go far.
We went to January 5th and found the following.
Let's take a listen to SAT 16.
See how fearful he is.
I'm a little in shock about that.
You know, I was already upset about the Kennedy Center on her, and now we're bombing him somewhere.
Could you make sense of any of it?
I can make sense out of it in that, you know, I've done enough Shakespeare plays to know the power corrupts.
I know, I know.
Exactly.
But, you know, it's a common theme of mankind is that, you know, nothing that's happening to us as Americans, as civilians, isn't anything that hasn't happened to humanity.
I mean, we're surrounded.
History's littered with despots and selfish people and greedy people, and they make the rules for the kind people.
Well, you didn't seem that shy.
But maybe when he says the past couple of years, he's going back to like, oh, it's like right before Trump got elected and everybody was calling him Hitler and he knew Hitler might get elected and he was scared.
Let's go back to his appearance on The View, October 2025, SOT 17.
We were talking about Trump wanting $230 million from the Department of Justice for investigating him.
Yes, he wants that money.
Is anybody here old enough to remember when Jimmy Carter gave up his family farm to make sure he didn't have conflict of interest?
Because he wanted to protect the farmers who didn't want to see.
It's called integrity.
Yeah.
And it's starting to show the lack of it.
It's pretty obvious.
Okay, I'm not exactly sure when the newfound fear started.
Maybe it was just at Sundance, Emily.
It just came upon him in the wake of what's happened in Minneapolis that you can no longer say how you really feel.
Let's take a look at more of the interview to see if he was shy about expressing his reservations on Trump.
SOT 15.
It's entirely possible that Trump is doing us a great favor by teaching America what oligarchy means.
I think a lot of young people, myself included, didn't even know what it meant.
Bernie Sanders and people, top 1%, we all like roll our eyes and everything.
You're like, oh, I see what they mean.
And so sometimes you need to have your freedoms taken away to know what they mean and what's worth fighting for.
We all know what greed and oppression are.
And we all know it to feel the truth in our stomachs.
So we've got to figure out how to take care of one another.
Everybody.
Just for the, are we clear on what Trump's oligarchy has taken away from Ethan Hawk?
I kind of have a feeling he's mixing his favorite issues there, Emily.
But I would say the jury is in and they do not find Ethan Hawk in any way reluctant to share his obnoxious, uninformed, Hollywood baseless opinions.
I am stunned by the brazenness with which he said it is a new thing for people to have to worry in Hollywood about what they say.
He mentioned that, quote, history is littered with despots.
Dude, recent history in Hollywood is littered with examples of people who were canceled, lost their jobs, lost parts of their career.
Many of them have been on this show.
Maybe you should tune in because they said something that wasn't even conservative, but it was just like moderately critical of cultural progressivism, maybe BLM, maybe transing children.
That is what is littering Hollywood's recent history.
That is like such a brazen and insane thing to say given the last 10 years.
Yeah, talk about having zero clue how the other side lives, meaning the conservative side.
I mean, none whatsoever, that they continue to live in fear.
I mean, we just had Zach Levi on a month ago who said he's convinced he's been graylisted as a result of not even being a conservative.
He's a libertarian who's maha.
He kind of likes what Kennedy's doing, but you're not allowed to like Kennedy, who up until two minutes ago was a Democrat, but he's a bad Democrat, you see, because he's the kind who doesn't vaccinate everybody with everything and mandates.
And also, he had the nerve to go work for the Trump administration.
So that's just for that.
Zachary Levi has been, quote, graylisted.
But we could be here all day talking about how true conservatives aren't allowed to exist in Hollywood.
They have to hide it.
All of them have to hide it.
Or even moderates, like you were saying, Zachary Levi, left critics of progressivism.
I mean, it's just the last 10 years of Hollywood history have been completely like there were people who are actually comparing it to Red Scare, Joseph McCarthy era in dead seriousness.
And I think, listen, one of my little bugaboos is the concerns that people have about Joe McCarthy, I think, has been largely vindicated.
But we don't need to go down that rabbit hole to say people were genuinely scared of the progressive left for the last 10 years in Hollywood.
So to have the audacity right now to say under Trump, he's afraid, even though Hollywood stars are constantly saying all of this stuff without being criticized and without being penalized by the Trump administration.
Find one example.
Find one example of the government going after someone criticizing Donald Trump.
Matt Taibbi had the IRS show up at his house under Joe Biden.
They showed up at his house on like Christmas Eve while he was working on Biden-era censorship stories.
I mean, give me one example of that happening to somebody in Hollywood because they were critical of Trump.
It's ridiculous.
Oh, and by the way, speaking of Joe Biden, he's actually out there posting on X right now about how terrible ICE is and how they murdered two American citizens.
Not one drop of blood that has been shed did not originate with Joe Biden.
It's all Joe Biden's fault.
That's the reason Trump got elected.
That's the reason Trump surged Homan and Noam and everybody else to these cities to try to crack down on the illegals that he led in.
There's not a problem we're dealing with right now that doesn't originate with his open border policies.
Even the arrests we're making of people who got here before Joe Biden are as a result of Joe Biden because those people probably would have been left alone.
We weren't actively doing a great job of deporting illegals here until Joe Biden threw all caution to the wind and opened the borders for anyone and everyone who wanted in for those four years so he can sit this one out.
Okay, on the subject of Hollywood celebrities who really, they're very disturbed by what's going on here.
I mean, I just like Ellen too, she's upset, Emily.
She's very upset.
And she, she, she tweeted out over the weekend, you know, after Predty was killed.
It's a tough day to feel like celebrating a birthday.
I'm holding space for what's happening in our world and holding close what I'm grateful for.
Like my wife.
And cookies.
That's literally what her post reads.
And cookies.
She's having real trouble processing her birthday overseas, but not really.
She's fine.
She's got hundreds of millions and you don't.
And she's having cookies.
So fuck Alex Predi.
She's also having trouble remaining overseas because as the Daily Mail has reported recently, they want to come back to LA.
They want to be back in like Montecito because who wouldn't want to be back in Montecito, to be honest?
So we'll see if she even stays overseas after making such a big point.
Probably not getting recognized.
That's true.
That's true.
That might be what it is.
I mean, they're out in the country.
Nobody cares that you're Ellen degenerous.
No one cares.
You've lost your fame, which is your only thing that matters to you.
And your cookies.
I mean, who the hell will be like, it's a tough day to celebrate, you know, thoughts and prayers.
And I have cookies.
Like, what the F?
That just like she clearly has abandoned all PR help because that is tone deaf.
Molly Ringwald is another one.
She was the it girl when I was growing up, 16 Candles, breakfast club, pretty in pink.
She's spent the rest of her adult life ripping poor John Hughes, the man who made her a star and a multi-millionaire to shreds, suggesting he was somehow part of the Me Too movement for his inappropriate 80s body humor, which I think we all miss.
It was funny and it made us laugh.
In any event, Molly Ringwald, she's got thoughts on ICE.
And I mean, this is, she really leans in.
Let's watch.
She did not phone this in.
Watch.
There's something horrible, horrible going on in our country right now.
Got the bean in it.
And we have one of the greatest countries had, one of the greatest countries in the world.
Had.
And I've always been so proud to be an American.
But right now, this is a fascist government.
It's not becoming a fascist government.
It is a fascist government.
And ICE is brutalizing people.
You know, if you look at what happened in France, you know, they were taken over by the Nazis.
A lot of people, a lot of people collaborated.
And then there were people that did not collaborate and were part of the resistance.
Eventually, they got their country back.
And those people who collaborated were found to be criminal.
And that is what's going to happen.
If you only care about yourself, then realize that you are going to be seen as a collaborationist.
So please, please use your voice and protest.
These are children who are being taken away from their parents.
These are mothers.
No, they're not.
Who are being killed?
Please do the right thing and stand up and use your voice.
Okay.
We're back to the Nazi situation.
Hello, Holocaust Museum.
Hello.
Hello.
You have a lot of tweeting to do.
There's another person who is using the Holocaust and Nazis to make a point about what's happening with ICE.
I think we object, do we not?
Holocaust Museum.
Molly Ringwald should be on the front of your agenda today, going to how France was taken over by the Nazis.
We had one of the greatest countries, but it's now fascist.
It's not becoming.
It is fascist.
She knows all of this because she points out in the video, she lived in France for a couple of years in her 20s, Emily.
So she knows fascism when she sees it.
Okay.
Oh my gosh.
It's like the girl who studied abroad like sophomore year and came back and was like, these are not real.
Croissants.
This is not a real bad guy.
That's what she's doing.
She's like, this is fascism.
I lived in France.
So I'm a little bit of an authority.
Yeah, a little bit of a drink.
She was wearing the gray.
Oh, I didn't even think about that.
I wonder if she planned that.
Actually, I would not put it past her, Megan.
But she's sitting there, by the way, in the comfort of her own bed.
In a fascist regime, in a truly fascist regime, the idea of you just comfortably sitting in your own bed and using your massive platform as a celebrity to call the president a fascist and have no consequences.
Yes, the government is like even after them.
You're at Sundance.
You're talking into a microphone on the red carpet to variety.
You're in like a $10,000.
Whatever the hell you want.
Right.
Yes.
And by the way, let me tell you something else about Ethan Hawk.
When I first moved to New York in 2007, the second time, I lived down in Chelsea and there's this great place called the Chelsea Hotel, which is very cool.
It has got all this murals inside.
I don't know if it's still there, but Ethan Hawk used to sit right in the front where there were like these little, it was like a counter, just waiting for someone to see him.
It was like, hello, hello.
There was that place and there was this little diner right on the corner of where we lived.
He was in either place.
He was right in the window.
Most actual celebrities, you know, like you're talking about like a Julia Roberts, she probably wouldn't even go to a place like that.
But if you ever see them, they're always in the back in a corner with their back to the people who are passing by.
They are not, hello, it's me, Ethan Hawk.
Hi.
He's just upset that no one gives a shit what he has to say anymore.
As a major celebrity, Megan, I'm always taking the booth in the back.
If I go to a subway, a local subway, always at the booth with my turkey sub.
But this is also so infuriating because we were just talking about how After Party has changed your life.
You know, it has made it more difficult for me to get the turkey sub without having to also respond to all of the well-wishers and the people who are asking for autographs of their turkey subs.
Thank you for recognizing that it has been hard.
Thank you.
You were saying Molly Ringwald.
Sorry, I interrupted.
No, no, no, Molly Ringwald, like talking about mothers and children.
And this is so maddening because again, during the Biden administration, on a daily basis, there were mothers and children being trafficked, partially with money that was flowing to NGOs from the United States government, from taxpayers, who were, for example, making it easier for folks to go and cross the Darien Gap where women were getting raped.
They were sending them in with condoms because it was so dangerous.
And they were doing that because of the Biden administration's policies.
They said it over and over again.
So we are being let in, so we are coming.
And those people deserved a whole lot of tears.
You and I talked about it.
They deserved a lot of like, they were going through hell to get up to the United States because the Biden administration was like, hey, you can, you could come in.
And all of that was empowering the cartels to hurt more and more people.
Lots of people died.
Katy Perry at Davos 00:04:41
Lots of people were sexually assaulted and raped.
And none of these guys cared about that.
And partially the reason is because they and their rich friends benefited from all of the cheap labor that was flooding into the United States.
So it wasn't even on their radar.
Okay.
So the irony of like these incredible celebrities with their millions making their comments like Ethan Hawk from Sundance.
Oh, and Molly Ringwald, I'm told by my team, just got back from Sundance.
Okay.
As soon as she got back, she wanted us to know this is a fascist country.
Immediately after getting back, she wanted us to know, it is now fascist right now.
Okay, this second.
France, France was taken over by the Nazis.
Some were complicit and others weren't.
That's Molly.
There's also Katie, Katie Perry.
She's urging her fans, saying we have till Friday, January 30th to block $10 billion from going through to ICE.
This is back to the attempt to stop the spending provisions from going through.
This has already been negotiated.
And now these Democrats are talking about trying to stop it.
Like they're not going to fund ICE.
ICE is still going to get its funding, but they're trying to stop the latest tranche so that ICE agents won't get paid.
Katy Perry's going to get paid.
She'll have no trouble whatsoever cashing her checks.
And she also clearly doesn't care about the Minneapolis children who are going to be brutalized by pedophiles who are illegals.
She's fine with that apparently.
Otherwise, she wouldn't be opposing ICE getting paid.
And Katy Perry is constantly leading the life of a hypocrite.
She absolutely doesn't actually care about children of America because she would have stood up for the ones who are being brutalized by illegals.
She only cares about the illegals because I think she thinks that's popular on her side.
But here's another thing.
She is supposed to be some sort of environmental activist, Emily, which I didn't know.
I actually did not know that.
But as it turns out, she is.
And you tell me whether what she did in space right here, V4, is or is not environmentally friendly.
Let's watch it.
Yeah.
There they go.
You love this so much.
You'll never get tired of this.
She just got off of her rocket ship.
She's Alan Shepard.
There she is.
I love it so much.
And she is kissing the ground.
And also, not just that, but she showed up at Davos because she cares.
You know, they always do climate change at Davos.
She showed up at Davos.
Here she is floating.
Floating.
How much?
How much carbon expenditures happened there so that you could float?
The combustion emissions from rocket launchers affect both the climate and the stratospheric ozone layer, says sustainability magazine.
It's very, very bad, Katie.
But she showed up at Davos because she does care about the environment and she wants us all to know that to do as she says, not as she does.
And here she was walking around Davos with Justin Trudeau's bodyguard holding her arm to combat the very evil Rebel News, which is our favorite outlet up in Canada, and Ezra Klein, who's up there, does great reporting.
Katie Perry, Ezra Levant, not Ezra Klein, Ezra Levant.
And Katie Perry is very, very happy to have her life guarded by a team of security professionals, but she does not want little children who will be attacked or raped and abused by these illegals to have the same protections, Emily.
So the hypocrisy abounds.
Justin Open Borders Trudeau, perfect fit for Katy Perry.
Unfortunately, they make a beautiful pair.
The perfect couple for Davos, where everybody is celebrating with probably the nicest champagne you could imagine and the nicest hotels you can imagine and lecturing the rest of the world on wanting to deal with the obviously problematic mass immigration trends that, guess who?
Democrats and people on the left all around Western Europe have actually saddled people who are even supportive of them in other policy areas with, and they're upset about it.
And, you know, if you go to Davos, you can just have your security prevent you from ever having to answer questions from those folks that you alienated.
Creeping Fascism in ICE 00:04:06
Or you can just sit and make cow eyes at Justin Trudeau.
The two of them in this video are just like winking at each other.
One winks.
Ew, he just winked.
And now she winked back.
This is the most pathetic flirting.
And it's exactly what you would think they'd be capable of, right?
These two, like, they've never done anything outside of missionary.
That's very clear.
Sorry.
Like, very clear.
There's no game there.
And then after that, okay.
Okay.
It's not where I expected you to go with that.
It's pathetic.
It's very sad.
All right.
Wait, I've got one more celeb that I want to show you what's on his mind because I know everybody was wondering, what about Ben and Jerry?
How are they handling all of this?
And here's Ben Cohen, the co-founder of the ice cream brand.
It's not 10.
I was prepared to make a special ice cream today to memorialize and celebrate the life of Renee Goode.
But now that Alex's murder makes it clear that the murder of Rene and the government's lies were not a mistake, but standard operating procedure, I just don't have it within me.
This is not the right to free speech or the right to protest.
This is not America.
This is sheer cruelty.
This is the beginning of the end of the land of the free unless we make it the home of the brave.
Unless we're brave enough to stand up for justice, to stand up for our neighbors, to stand up for compassion.
ICE must be defunded and disbanded.
Unless it's ice cream, and in which case we'll save the world.
I mean, like, even I could come up with the right flavor, like pretty good.
Like, come on, Ben, you can do it.
I mean, he doesn't, he actually wants us to think this is the end because he can't, he just can't make the ice cream with in honor of them, Emily.
It's because, again, fascism, it's here, it's here, unless, unless the land of the brave takes over.
I mean, like the empty pablum that these rich gazillionaires offer, safe in their multi-billion dollar homes, not like the children who are getting brutalized by the illegals, right?
It's so tiresome and they're, they have zero self-awareness.
And I always want to like the Ben and Jerry's guys because I have a soft spot for like hippies, old school leftists who are really crunchy and genuinely like they'll go out to protest, like a Susan Sarandon or someone like that.
But in this case, it's very offensive to say, unless the United States becomes the home of the brave, because that feels to me like downplaying a whole lot of bravery that Americans have demonstrated.
There are people, he may not like this, but even in the Biden era who were working in ICE and CBP, particularly CBP, who were targeted by cartels, cartels who were being funded by the policies of the Biden administration and were pretty brave in dealing with those types of threats, are still pretty brave in dealing with those types of threats.
And some of them might, by the way, might not even be Republicans or conservatives.
So I just find that idea that unless we become the home of the brave, that is borderline offensive.
And the time where I felt like fascism was creeping into the United States is when I couldn't send the damn New York Post link to their Hunter Biden story in a direct message on Twitter in 2020.
It said, you're not allowed to send this in a private message.
And it knew the link that I was sending and it blocked it.
That made me feel like there was creeping fascism.
When you had all of NIH trying to ruin doctors who pushed back on their lies and dogma, like Fauci and Collins going after Bhattacharia, Martin Kaldorf, the lists were long that they tried to smear and diminish, half of whom are running our government now.
Paleo Valley Beef Sticks 00:02:12
Thank God.
Scott Atlas was another one.
Yeah, that felt a little bit more like fascism than this does to me.
Before the cameras, before the ceremony, before history is made, every detail is chosen.

Identifying Alvin Q User 00:04:40
And even if you know that you're not going to do it, you're going to pull out your hands.
And it's just then you have to stop yourself and take your hands back on the road.
And if you get it, you have to make a plan.
Then it's a bit easier.
And drive is the only thing you're going to do.
Welcome to the State's Veivesen.
Hey everyone, it's me, Megan Kelly.
Finally, I've got some exciting news.
I now have my very own channel on SiriusXM.
It's called the Megan Kelly Channel, and it is where you will hear the truth, unfiltered, with no agenda, and no apologies.
Along with the Megan Kelly Show, you're going to hear from people like Mark Halperin, Link Lauren, Maureen Callahan, Emily Jashinsky, Jesse Kelly, Real Clear Politics, and many more.
It's bold, no BS news, only on the Megan Kelly Channel, SiriusXM 111, and on the SiriusXM path.
The loons, though, like, they're nasty, and I actually do think they're potentially dangerous.
Like, I'm going to say, I'm going to say, I'm going to say, I'm going to say, I'm going to say, I'm going to say, I'm going to say, I'm going to say, I'm going to say, I'm going to say, I'm going to say, I'm going to say, I'm going to say, I'm going to say, I'm going to say, I'm going to say, I'm going to say, I'm going to say, I'm going to say, I'm going to say, I'm going to say, I'm going to say, I'm going to say, I'm going to say, I'm going to say, I'm going to say, I'm going to say, I'm going to say, I'm going to say, I'm going to say, I'm going to say, I'm going to say, I'm going to say, I'm going to say, I'm going to say, I'm going to say, I'm going Like this guy, Alex Predi, he, I don't know what, I actually do want to see more about what he was all about, right?
Because the average person, if they had a physical confrontation with ICE one week earlier in which five guards were all over you and you broke a rib, would not go back out there, but this time with a loaded gun.
And now there's reporting about how he knew, how he was part of this group that knew where ICE was.
They were tracking them, we believe, in a signal chat.
Andy No, tweeting this out, that signal chat logs show a user stalking federal agents with guidance and instruction from other far-left insurgents matching details of Alex Predi.
Andy linked to research done by an X account called Oversight Project, no link to the House Oversight Project, but it's a legal watchdog group that looks into things like this.
And what they report is that Alex Predi appears, they're not totally sure, they can't be without having the metadata and all that, but he appears to have been on this signal messaging chain that's marked leave chat, delete chat, where anti-ICE activists directed resources to the place where Alex Predi went and was shot.
We've ID'd a user they write, Alvin Q, who may have been Predi.
They write that in this chat, coordinators like user salacious B Crumb spot and direct resources to thwart ICE's enforcement efforts.
They dox and follow ICE vehicles.
At 8.47 a.m. Central Time, user Alvin Q responds to Silici B. Crumb that he will, quote, update on the location of a suspected ICE vehicle that's about eight blocks away from where the shooting would occur 15 minutes later.
The name Alvin Q matches the alias Alvin Q. Predi, which from breach data Alex Predi used for a Twitter account he appears to have created in 2016.
The signal user also has a medic.
emoji.
The name Alvin Q matches the alias Alvin Q. Predi.
And then in the minutes leading up to the shooting, Silatius B. Crumb directs other users to go to the location where the shooting would occur.
Multiple agents now entering Glam Doll Donuts.
Backup needed.
One activist inside of the donut shop shares a video of the shop owners locking ICE out.
One of the offers featured in the video, wearing a gray coat, appears to have been involved in the attempted arrest of Predi.
At 9.02 a.m., the signal chat first makes mention of possible shots fired.
The user Alvin Q does not reappear in the chat.
They say, to be clear, we're not asserting that Predi is confirmed to be Alvin Q, but we analyze data in real time and are releasing our analysis because of the value to the public and having all info available.
This is, this looks like proof that indeed Alvin Predi was part of an anti-ICE agitation group that was stalking the officers, harassing the officers, finding out exactly where they were, part of this group that tried to impede their ability to make lawful arrests.
And again, somebody whose gamble that he could get away with all of that did not pan out for him.
They're also doing this.
This organization, if you're looking at some of these leaked messages as you just showed on the screen, they're doing this without knowing the backgrounds of the suspects or the people who ICE is looking to ascertain or to apprehend.
I'm sorry, is the correct word.
So they don't know if they're protecting a sex offender.
They don't know if they're protecting somebody who could potentially be violent, somebody who does not belong on the streets of Minneapolis.
Sick Tactics Against Agents 00:15:11
And also, it's just a very dangerous situation for everybody involved.
I know you've talked a lot about the whistles, but like the whistles and the honking.
I'm not saying like, I'm not weighing in on the legality of that, but just saying that these activists are putting their own people in jeopardy when officers can't hear each other and they're armed.
And some of the protesters are armed, which I think is fine.
But that said, when the officers can't hear and communicate with each other clearly and there's a deliberate chaos that's created in order to prevent them from going into Glam Doll Donuts and apprehending someone who you don't know whether or not they are someone you'd want in your own community, then it's just really, really dangerous all around, dangerous for the people who are doing it too, who probably would hate both of us, Megan.
But I don't want them to be in these unnecessarily unsafe situations either.
The mania that all this is causing is something I like, I don't know how these people bounce back from like the true craziness that it's causing amongst a pocket of the left that's calling Stephen Miller Himmler, that crowd.
They're represented across America.
And as Jesse Kelly had accurately predicted many times, it seems like some 30% of them at least are nurses, which is really deeply disturbing.
So we have an update first for you on a nurse at VCU down in Virginia and Richmond yesterday who said the following, which was true insanity in SOT 13.
Sabotage tactic, or at least scare tactic.
All the medical providers, grab some syringes with needles on the end.
Have them full of saline or succinylcholine, you know, whatever, whatever.
That will probably be a deterrent.
For today's resistance tip, I vote.
Anybody got any poison ivy, poison oak in their yard?
Get some of that up with gloves, obviously.
Get it in some water.
Get some, get the poison ivy oak water.
And I'm going to put it into a water gun.
Aim for.
Aim for faces, hands.
Are the single ladies where these ICE guys are going?
Get on Tinder, get on hand.
Find these guys.
They're around.
They're an ICE agent.
Bring some XLACs and put it in their drinks.
Get them sick.
You know, nobody's going to die.
Just enough to incapacitate them, get them off the street for the next day.
Let's make their lives fucking miserable.
You're a sick person.
Sick person, Melinda Cook.
When we left air yesterday, Emily, VCU said that she was placed on leave while they investigated.
We said, what is there to investigate?
She's on camera.
It's very clear that she's ready to hurt ICE agents despite her obligation to heal people and not hurt them, that she actually is talking about using drugs you get in the hospital like suctional choline and misusing them in order to hurt ICE and Border Patrol.
I mean, this is a fucking sick person.
And sure enough, before the day was closed, there was a statement issued by VCU Health.
Following an investigation, the individual involved in the social media videos is no longer employed by VCU Health.
In addition, VCU Health has fulfilled its reporting requirements under Virginia state law, which I believe means that they went to the licensing board to alert them.
Libs of TikTok, which broke the story, asked, Shia Ryczik asked accurately underneath their post, thank you.
Are you doing a review of all of her cases and deaths that occurred under her care?
Which is a chilling but important question I hadn't even considered for these crazy ass nurses.
It's a great question.
I really hope that they answer it and that the answer is yes.
Secondly, there was this nurse.
She's out of Florida.
Her name is Lexi Lawler.
And she had the following.
It's disgusting.
Forgive me, but there's it's news.
Following wish for the now pregnant with her second child, Caroline Levitt in SOT 12.
As a labor and delivery nurse, it gives me great joy to wish Caroline Levitt a fourth degree tear.
I hope that you fucking rip from bow to stern and never shit normally again, you cunt.
All right, so this is a very sick person as well.
She's also a nurse and she's been fired, which is great.
And today, the attorney general in Florida just announced that she is no longer allowed to practice nursing in the state of Florida.
Making statements, he writes, that wish pain and suffering on anyone when those statements are directly related to one's practice is an ethical red line we should not cross.
I'm proud of the Florida Surgeon General for taking this decisive action.
I'm sorry, but this had to be done.
It had to be done, Emily, because how can any Republican or right-leaning person go into a facility and encounter a Lexi Lawler or a Melinda Cook who are actively talking about hurting people on the right or wishing devastating pain and injury on them and feel comfortable in their care?
Yeah, I mean, it's one of those things that reminds me of the classic cancel culture line of, well, you want this professor to be censored or whatever.
It's like, well, no, I don't want professors to be censored, but if they're saying that kids who supported Trump should have consequences or be hurt in one way or whatever, you're creating a bad classroom environment.
So you should be able to say whatever you want as long as it's not like actually causing harm to your students.
I'm not talking about psychological harm, but I'm talking about like potentials for checking out books.
No.
No, they're nurses.
And it just reminds me of the conversation that you had with Jesse Kelly.
What was it last week or the week before where he caught me off guard because he's usually so hostile and aggressive?
And he said, you know, I genuinely feel bad for a lot of these women because if you think of why people go into nursing, I mean, it's a great career, but for so many women, it's because they have this instinct to nurture and care for others.
And I think when you're putting this stuff out on social media, it just reflects a very, very deep instability.
And they're probably, you combine those two things.
I mean, they, in their own heads, have been created, they've been turned delusional by a reckless media establishment.
And they think that they are genuinely helping.
And it's sick.
There's no excuse for it.
And it's why there needs to be consequences because you can't trust somebody to nurture when they're crazy enough not just to think this, but then to broadcast it publicly on social media.
This is a wild thing to do if your job is healing and helping and nurturing.
And it does just make me feel like a pang of empathy for people who are in these situations because that is an absolutely crazy thing to think.
Let's see.
I mean, like, let's see if Lexi, who's now lost her license to practice in Florida, has had a change of heart, has come to see the error of her ways.
We're going to check back in.
SOT 11.
So they just murdered a man in Minnesota.
They murdered a man in Minnesota and you motherfuckers are coming after me because I use bad language.
Fuck you.
I'm on the right side of this.
Fuck you.
Enjoy your time with your plants.
Have a good time.
Those will be your new constituents since you will no longer have access to patients.
And I don't know where she will have access.
I mean, truly, who would hire this person?
Even a far left city is going to have to see that this woman is disturbed.
Like they're going to see these videos and they're going to see that this is a psychopath who shouldn't be anywhere near their facility.
Because while it seems like nursing does have an unusually high proportion of nut cases in it right now, there are still normal nurses out there, thank God, who will take care of anybody with loving care.
Now, much like the American Academy of Pediatrics and most of these medical organizations have been completely captured by the left, the American Nurses Association is among them.
They put out a statement about Alex Predi because he was a registered nurse.
He was killed in a horrifying shooting at the hands of federal law enforcement.
We ask all nurses to visit this website, send a letter to your members of Congress, let them know that nurses demand immediate action.
And there's this long statement ripping on ice and border protection and so on.
I went just to see.
What did the American Nurses Association have to say about Lake and Riley, who was a nursing student who was killed by an illegal, which made national news?
It was a much bigger story than Alex Predty.
Nothing.
Not one word for her.
What did they say about Melinda Cook or Alexi Lawler?
Two nurses who are saying really incendiary things and threatening to hurt patients in one case because of this.
Not a word.
Nothing, Emily.
And all these organizations completely undermine the faith that regular American citizens, or at least those of us who are on the right who could get hurt by these loons, have in what should be a vaunted profession, should be a profession we hold up on a pedestal because what do they do?
They take care of us in our most vulnerable moments.
But no, because of these people and because of groups like this who won't condemn them, we lose faith.
I was watching the CBS Evening News with Tony DeCoppol, of course, a couple of nights ago, and they were showing what was, yes, Topra, that's right.
And they were talking about the Pratty situation and the federal officers on the ground.
They were showing footage and all of that.
But what they didn't show was the scenes of chaos that were happening from the agitators and the disruptors and the rioters throughout Minneapolis.
And so, again, this is a network that is pledging to do better and actually, you know, give a fair shake to both sides.
And that is, I get that, you know, the centrists who live in Manhattan are not immigration hawks.
I understand that this tugs at their heartstrings.
I get it.
But if you are even trying to give a fair shake and your broadcast is just showing ICE without showing what's precipitating the response from ICE, meaning the chaos and the rioting and all of that, you are creating more of these women because they're completely missing the other side of the story.
They completely missed it during the Biden administration.
And it's very, very dangerous.
And even people who think they're doing better are getting it wrong this time around.
And that doesn't mean that everyone has to accept everything that happens that Trump does or whatever.
But what it does mean is that there's another side to this.
And by the way, what about all of the ICE officers who have been in danger?
They arrested someone for threatening Trisha McLaughlin not that long ago.
Like this is, there have been very serious threats and you barely hear about them in the corporate press, but that is an important part of the story as to why things have gotten where they are.
That's the new reinvented CBS.
Same as the old, uninvented CBS.
And ABC, yesterday we ran the soundbite of Whoopi Goldberg out there saying, he just had his phone in a water bottle.
That's it.
He was just shot 10 times.
All he did was have a phone and a water bottle.
Okay, so he injected himself into a federal law enforcement operation.
He then resisted arrest.
He placed hands on the operator.
And yes, he was carrying.
There's nothing wrong with carrying, but it would amp up the fears of a law enforcement officer when you're now in a confrontation with him, which Alex Predty knew full well.
The lies.
NPR after Renee Goode, we ran the soundbite on the show.
They didn't talk at all about her agitation or the blocking of traffic or the fact that she almost ran over that guy and actually did hit him.
They went to her Pinterest page and were going over the recipes that were posted on there.
I mean, it's, it's propaganda.
It's truly like deranged, dangerous propaganda.
I like, I can't.
All right.
I want to switch gears because, well, you mentioned Topra.
I'll spend one minute on him.
Topra, in true Topra style, decided to do the following on CBS Evening News.
It's supposed to be the most full of gravitas broadcast in any network's daytime lineup.
Here it is, SOT2.
If your family is anything like mine with kids and working parents, it's often the grandparents, in our case, grandmas like my mom Gail, who keep everything from falling apart.
But does chasing around toddlers or teenagers take a toll on the grandparents themselves?
Well, a new study of grandparents finds that quite the opposite.
Grandparents who take care of grandkids actually score better on tests of memory and language and decline more slowly than grandparents who do not.
I called my own mom for reaction.
So, mom, are you surprised by that finding?
No, not at all.
I find that they give me like a sense of purpose.
They energize me more than drive me down.
Something magical happens when a parent becomes a grandparent and to think the next time I call my mom for help with the kids, I can use the line she used on me as a kid.
It's for your own good, mom.
I love you.
Okay, I'm humiliated by him.
I can't.
This is what this is literally shit that Oprah would do.
Like, this is fine if you want, if you're in cable news in the middle of the day, you're on broadcast news in the morning, you want to do the soft, you know, I can relate.
This is fucking evening news on CBS, where you need to be able to be taken seriously on matters like Syria and Ukraine and nukes and Russia.
And no one gives a shit about your mommy.
They're desperate to try to humanize him without realizing that what the evening news anchor needs is credibility and gravitas, neither of which Topra Docapool has at all.
They don't need to work on feminizing this guy.
Trust me, he's got that.
They need to work in a different lane, but they're too stupid over at CBS because they have somebody running the organization who doesn't know shit about broadcasting.
I'm sorry, she's never worked in television.
So they are applying the wrong cure to the problem.
I am obsessed with the CBS Evening NEWS right now because it's become a Saturday night live sketch in real time of like depicting.
Like the sketch would basically be, somebody who thinks that they can do a better job than the old guard comes in and starts, you know, messing with the formula and gets it completely wrong.
Wrong Cure for CBS 00:04:00
That's kind of what you see happening like.
The other night they did a softer story on like a robotic hand and it was incredibly funny because it was just like this is what the average American will find very entertaining.
We have a robotic hand here.
It'll be lots of fun.
It'll get the remote from between the couch cushions, yeah.
And the other thing that's funny to me about De Copo being humanized is that it implies he's seen as superhuman in some way, like Walter Cronkite was.
And it's like dude, nobody cares.
Nobody cares.
Man like we believe you are human, trust us.
We saw you reading prompter on the first night.
Exactly, we know, and you don't have to prove to us that you love your mommy.
I mean honestly, this is such a naked grab of attention like please, I love my mom, so please please, love me again.
If he wanted to do this in his role as the CBS Morning GUY.
Fine, actually that's the kind of weird shit they do in morning television and daytime television.
But this is evening news.
This is so inappropriate uh, and it will not work.
Here's another one.
It's all about Topra.
It's all just in case you got.
You're watching the news to get the news, you're not.
It's all about him.
Top 21.
That is another day in America, the end of our second week live from America.
What a privilege it's been to hear directly from so many of you, to hear what matters in your life, as we reported on the ground on immigration opioids, inequality and so much more, and we put some of your big questions in front of this country's biggest leaders mayors governors senators, even the president of the United States himself.
Look for us again next month out somewhere in the country and monday from New York.
But good night For now, I'm gonna talk to these steel workers.
They wanna trade jobs?
This one's not as easy as it looks.
I've been learning that.
Thanks for the hospitality, guys.
I really appreciate it, man.
Thank you, Mary.
And this is all wonderful.
I'm gonna pick out my new refrigerator here.
Which one's good?
Oh my God.
He actually told steel workers that his multi-million dollar gig was not, quote, as easy as it looks, and spent the last bit of his broadcast.
You only get 22 minutes talking about what he had done his first two weeks, who he had talked to, and how hard it is, how hard.
He's got a team of wardrobe people, hair people, makeup people, producers everywhere who do all the work at the network, especially CBS, not him.
And honestly, there were many snafus.
He embarrassed himself repeatedly.
He put out the crying video.
He made a fool of himself.
And then he wants like empathy from the audience that it's a really tough job and makes a joke to actual tough guys, steel workers, about how this job's not as easy as it looks.
Like, I'm sorry, but he's making a fool of himself.
And on air, he didn't even say it privately.
Not only did he think it, but he said it on air, which is a next-level Tony DeCoppol move.
That has got to be one of my all-time favorite DeCoppolisms.
And, you know, they're already already just a few weeks into this.
Apparently, the reporting is that they think they can do idea type scoops.
And so that's why you're seeing them start to try to hand-hold the audience more and more as to like what the big picture story is, what this all means.
And he does that constantly, even though nobody cares.
They're trying to have it both ways to please the linear audience while also pleasing the online audience and going viral, which again, it's really, I don't know how you could possibly do that, let alone with Ron Burgundy, Tony DeCoppol.
I know.
Not to mention Barry trying to run a television network by telling them, we've got to find the wave and ride it.
Okay, I'm sure they found that super inspirational and directional in terms of where you're going next.
Good luck.
All right, Emily Jashinsky, a pleasure.
As always, we'll see you next on the MK wrap-up show, which starts right after this.
And then on After Party tonight, go to YouTube and type in After Party with Emily, and you will find the show this evening.
