Three days ago, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz compared ICE to Nazis and the foreign criminals that ICE is trying to apprehend to Anne Frank.
Two days ago, President Trump had a phone call with Tim Walz.
Yesterday, Tim Walz deployed his own Minnesota State Patrol to arrest the anti-ICE protesters, which means, by the governor's own logic, that Tim Walz is now a Nazi collaborator.
What changed?
We will get into it.
I'm Michael Knowles.
This is the Michael Lowe Show.
Welcome back to the show.
As you can see, I am still here in my beautiful temporary studio, lovingly provided to me by my pal, because I'm locked out of the DW studios and not even by an order of the court or by the demand of Ben Shapiro.
I'm locked out by ICE, actually.
And ICE is locking me out of my studio.
Not the good ICE.
The also good but much less convenient ICE that has turned Nashville into Mad Max.
It's totally nuts, but it's all right.
We're surviving and thriving.
We've been blessed with many great gifts and graces and opportunities during all of this, including, I'm happy to say, the ability to continue doing the show, which we have to do because everything is getting so insane in this flashpoint at Minneapolis, where there's always the rioting, always the insurrection, always the violence, always the challenges to authority in Minneapolis.
Until yesterday.
The timeline here is really, really weird.
It was on Sunday that Governor Walls comes out and he says that these guys are Nazis.
And then Trump has the phone call.
And then we have reports out that the Minnesota police, local police, go out and arrest the protesters who were protesting outside of the hotel where the Border Patrol commander at large, Greg Bovino, was staying.
So you can see this footage is going all around.
And some people would see this and say, okay, well, look, they're not Minneapolis police.
So this isn't Jacob Fry, who remains an insurrectionist, the trans-Somali mayor of Minneapolis.
This isn't necessarily Tim Walz.
Maybe this is a more conservative suburban town.
Maybe that explains it.
No, because aiding the local police in arresting the protesters was the Minnesota State Patrol.
That's coming from Governor Walls.
The Libs are furious.
Go on Blue Sky right now.
Not that I recommend you do that ever, but that's the Lib version of Twitter.
They've lost their minds over it.
That guy that I debated on Piers Morgan the other day, the one with the bleach blonde tips and the big sunglasses and his grandpa's shiny suit on, that guy was losing.
He said, this is a fake out.
Walls totally caved Trump.
They're arresting the protesters.
It's getting worse.
They're sending more ICE.
They're sending more immigration enforcement.
What happened?
So what the Libs are going to claim, or what they were trying to claim previously, is, well, look, Walls and Trump, they came to some kind of agreement and the Democrats got a scalp.
They got a scalp because the Border Patrol commander at large, Greg Bovino, has been reassigned.
So he's no longer running the operations in Minneapolis.
You're going to hear this from the left and you're going to hear this from the doomers on the right who take no, they miss no opportunity to attack the administration and to whine and complain from the comfort of their own desk chairs.
So what you're going to hear is, well, see, Trump is backing off because he's removing the commander at large of Border Patrol, Greg Bovino.
Now, first of all, most people have never heard of Greg Bovino.
By all accounts, he's a terrific law enforcement professional.
Commander-at-large is not even an official position in Border Patrol, and Border Patrol is usually on the border.
Though, because of the nature of a first-in-a-generation mass deportation campaign, which most Americans voted for in November, they've needed to bring in a little bit more help, some more reinforcements on these raids.
Now he's going to be reassigned.
So is that it?
That's the scalp Trump is backing out?
I don't think so because in his place, we're getting Tom Homan.
Tom Homan, who is the face of mass deportations.
So I don't think if you're a lib or you're an illegal alien, violent criminal, or any of these people, I don't think you're relieved to see Tom Homan show up.
Tom Holman is the guy who is more famous, or from your perspective, infamous, for deporting people.
But there is a little political play here.
And this finally explains why Caroline Levitt, White House Press Secretary, was playing up the fact the other day in the briefing that Tom Holman received a presidential medal from Barack Obama.
It seemed to come out of the blue.
They said, you know, actually, Tom Holman received a presidential medal for all of his great work in deportations from Barack Obama.
Why?
Because they were setting up the conditions to replace Greg Bovino.
Okay, maybe Tim Walz gets on the phone.
Okay, all right, Mr. Trump.
I understand.
I'm a real knucklehead.
I'm a listen.
I know.
And I, yeah, okay, I might have committed some fraud with the Somalis.
I know.
Knucklehead, knucklehead Timmy again.
I know I might be, I stood up on my iron grate the other day and I told people to get themselves killed obstructing law enforcement.
Knuckle, knuckle, knuckle.
Anyway, can you bail me out, please?
And you can imagine Trump on the other end saying, you know what, Tim?
Okay.
What's your demand?
You got it.
They want me to get rid of the guy who's in charge of it.
And Trump says, okay, so they reassign him to wherever he was before or some new place, whatever.
And then in their place, they put in Tom Homan.
So now it's much harder to attack Tom Homan because you just, hold on, Barack Obama said this guy was great for deportations.
And the question becomes, are they going to keep up the deportations or are they going to pull back?
And you had initially the libs celebrating and the doomers celebrating and they're sort of pathetic, cynical.
They just have to be right, that things are terrible way.
I was saying, ah, we'll see, here you go, Trump's going to pull back.
And I thought, I don't know.
I think he's smarter than that.
And I think he learned the lesson of 2020, which is you cannot give these people, these people in particular in Minneapolis, an inch.
You can't give them an inch.
They're going to question the intensity and the authenticity and the legitimacy of your whole administration.
But by all accounts, that's not what's going on.
Holman comes in and he's going to keep up the raids.
And now he's going to get local law enforcement buy-in.
We'll get to that momentarily.
First, I want to tell you about Balance of Nature.
Go to balanceofnature.com.
The new year is here.
For many people, that means focusing on our health in 2026.
That's where our sponsor, Balance of Nature's Whole Health System, comes in.
This has been a game changer for our family and our extended family at the Daily Wire.
We all love Balance of Nature and Balance of Nature's whole health system.
They have these easy to use capsules that means that you can get all the essential nutrients, even on hectic mornings, even when you're being chased out of your home by a once-in-a-decade ice storm, once in a century ice storm, whenever.
I'm just saying, hypothetically.
It's really, really great.
The fiber and spice supplement blends smoothly into your favorite drinks.
They add a warm aromatic depth from its spice blend.
Or if you prefer, you can even just open up the fruits and veggie capsules, mix the powder directly into your food or your smoothie, whatever.
It's terrific.
47 ingredients from 100% real whole fruits, vegetables, everything from psyllium husk to flaxseed to cinnamon, turmeric.
I know, I know my guest producer here does not get enough psyllium husk.
I've been telling him that for years.
I love Balance of Nature.
It's a huge hit at the office.
If you want to be a Giga Chad like Mr. Davies, get it.
This new year, lock in at 50% off for one year when you subscribe to the whole health system supplements as a preferred customer, balanceofnature.com.
Trump teased the call.
He put on Truth Social.
Governor Tim Walz called me with the request to work together with respect to Minnesota.
It was a very good call, and we actually seem to be on a similar wavelength.
I told Governor Walls that I would have Tom Holman call him, and that what we are looking for are any and all criminals that they have in their possession.
All the illegals are criminals.
That's why they're called illegals because they broke the law.
Some people are going to hear this and say, well, it's only the really violent ones who have committed extra crimes.
But the language here is totally ambiguous, which it has to be.
The governor very respectfully understood that, and I will be speaking to him in the near future.
He was happy that Tom Homan was going to Minnesota, and so am I.
I read this, I say the panic hands are destroyed again.
Trump does this a lot.
Trump is very charming.
Trump is much better at politics than a lot of his career politician adversaries.
This was certainly the biggest misstep of Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi in the first administration is they were so awful to Trump right off the bat.
There was no opportunity to try to ingratiate themselves.
Maybe ingratiating themselves wouldn't have worked, but it would have worked a lot better than pushing him away.
Trump, he does like to turn on the charm, and he's very charming.
He did this to Mamdani in the Oval Office.
Doesn't give Mamdani an inch on anything.
And in fact, almost certainly threatened Mamdani because the city of New York relies on the federal government for like $100 billion a year of funding when all is said and done.
But he puts on a little charm.
He's doing the same thing for Walls.
And then he hugs Walls.
So by hugging Walls, you put Walls in a terrible position.
Walls just called this guy Himmler the other day.
Walls said that the ICE agents are Nazis and the face-tattoed rapists and murderers are Anne Frank.
And then two days later, he says, and actually, I love the Nazis.
Long live the Reich.
I'm just such a knucklehead.
So that's what he's saying, right?
48 hours later.
What did Trump speak to him about?
Let me just, I don't, I don't want to seem like I'm overstaying.
We have the clip, right?
Tim Walz comparing ICE to Nazis.
We have got children in Minnesota hiding in their houses, afraid to go outside.
Many of us grew up reading that story of Ann Frank.
Somebody's going to write that children's story about Minnesota.
And there's one person who can end this now.
Yeah, they're going to write that book, but only after I cooperate with the Nazis.
I want to be, I want to make sure that I'm in the book.
No, you don't want to be that.
If it's the story you're telling, you don't want to be the character that you're just.
Trump clearly talked a little sense into him.
And how did he do it?
I think he talked a little sense into him, pointing out, look, you don't want to keep getting people killed.
Pointing out, look, you're in violation of the Insurrection Act.
I don't have this privately from the White House.
I'm just, if I were Trump, what would I have said to Tim Walz?
And I look at the effect it had on Tim Walz.
It must have been something good.
Tim Walz is clearly in violation of the Insurrection Act.
He literally invoked the Civil War, 1863, and then he threatened to call it Minnesota troops to fight the federal troops.
He could be arrested for that and put away for a long time.
Beyond that, though, a lot of evidence that Tim Walz is involved in some financial propriety, allegedly, reportedly, whatever, in the Somali fraud scandal and the broader Minnesota fraud scandal.
That's what the Treasury Secretary Scott Besson was flying to the Minnesota State Capitol to investigate when Tim Walz wouldn't even give him a security detail.
Now it looks like, hold on, this guy might not just be a knucklehead.
Maybe this guy actually was involved in some real corruption.
Maybe this guy, like his subjects in Minnesota, maybe he's also trying to obstruct law enforcement.
He's going to let a major cabinet secretary walk around in a very hostile environment, very violent environment, with political violence encouraged, in some cases reportedly even conspired according to the directions of state officials.
Now this is looking like obstruction.
Whatever it was, Trump talked some sense into him.
And he got the message.
I don't know that his lemming followers have gotten the message.
There's a video going viral.
I think it's real.
I don't know.
I got this off of an anti-ICE Minnesota Reddit group.
It's going viral there.
They seem to think it's real.
It's one of these protesters, not really protesters, is one of the people who is actively obstructing federal law enforcement, grabbing a flashbang, you know, a non-lethal type of grenade, grabs it to, you know, the cops throw it, and then she grabs it and then blows off a finger and then goes down screaming on the pavement.
I don't know if it's real.
Again, but this is coming from them.
So they all think it's real.
Viral Video Mystery00:10:22
And even that fact reveals their total disconnect from reality.
Where are they getting this from?
I'll tell you exactly where they're getting this from.
This is Marvel movie morality.
This is Marvel movie morality and Marvel movie anthropology.
They really think that the liberals are the good guys always, and they are the liberals.
The only stories they've ever read are these facile little comic book stories and not even the good older ones, like the new ones that are completely derivative and unoriginal and all the rest.
That's how they see the world divided.
And they really think that physical impossibilities can become possible if they just think highly enough of themselves.
So they really think the thing to do when the cops throw a grenade at you is to just go pick it up.
And then like you, I don't know, like you're Bug's bunny, like you're the Roadrunner, like you're whatever one of these Marvel movies, you're just, you're gonna pick it up and throw it away and it's gonna explode in the clouds.
And then, you know, the evil ice villain, his hair is just gonna go up on end and steam is gonna come out of his ears.
He's going, what?
Waka Waka.
You know, that's how they think this works.
That's not how that works.
They think that if you're a middle-aged white lady, irate political activist, lesbian, all the rest, that you can just get in your car and you can be real sassy to the cops, federal law enforcement.
You can block law enforcement, block traffic, create a very dangerous situation, protect foreign criminals.
And then when the cops come up, you can be really sassy.
You can give a line.
I'm not even mad at you.
Boom, credits roll.
Yeah, that's right.
Take that, Jack.
Credits roll.
And then you know what I'm going to do?
I'm going to drive my car right into one of these cops.
And you know what's going to happen to me?
Nothing.
What's going to happen then is Superwoman, my girlfriend, is going to fly in.
I'm going to jump on her back and we're going to soar off to Tahiti.
That's what they think is going to happen.
And you know what really happens?
When you drive your SUV into a cop, the cop shoots you in the face.
I don't even mean to make a joke.
We're kind of having fun imagining their delusion, but I'm not really making a joke about that.
Because that's the reality.
That's a very sad reality.
This is the kind of sadness that comes about from living your life according to delusion.
And I think we are way past the point of pretending that, you know, both sides kind of have their own delusions.
And we all have the stories that we tell ourselves.
We're way past that point.
You know when we passed that point, I think we all know.
When one side told us for years that boys can become girls, and when they castrated the little boys and they lopped off the breasts of the girls, that's, I think, when we ceased to have parody on our respective partisan delusions.
That's, I think, when one side really took the fantasy, which the left was always more brought into the fantasy.
The left was born out of the French Revolution as a rejection of a given society and of the God that created the society.
That's where the left comes from.
But I think that's where we hit the point of it being beyond dispute.
That's where we are now.
You saw, I mentioned it the other day.
One of these anarchists bit off a cop's finger.
We have the picture.
I don't know if you want to see that.
Bit off the cop's finger.
Where does that come from?
That comes from a highly deluded view of society.
It's not just in Minneapolis.
There's a worker who's just gone viral from VCU Health.
This is Virginia Commonwealth University Health, who has gone viral calling to poison ICE agents.
Do we have a clip?
Here's a little compilation.
It's a very long clip.
Here's a little compilation of some of this lady's suggestions.
Okay, for today's resistance tip, I vote, anybody got any poison ivy, poison oak in their yard?
Get some of that up with gloves, obviously.
Get it in some water, like a gallon of water.
Get some, get the poison ivy oak water, and I'm going to put it into a water gun.
Are the single ladies where these ice guys are going have a chance to do something?
You know, not without risk, but could help the cause for sure.
Get on Tinder, get on hand, find these guys.
They're around.
Darn ICE agent, bring some X-Lax and put it in their drinks.
Get them sick.
You know, nobody's going to die.
Just enough to incapacitate them and get them off the street for the next day.
Disturbing, awful.
Yes, obviously, you can't have healthcare professionals who are talking about poisoning their patients.
You just can't have a hospital.
If you tolerate that at all anywhere, you can't have a hospital system.
If the teachers threaten to kill some of the students, you just can't have schools because no parent is going to send any kid to those kind of schools.
That's not the most disturbing part.
The most disturbing part of this to me is the Marvel movie morality of it.
Because the line that stuck with me from her diatribe is get them sick, not enough to make them die, just enough to incapacitate them and get him off the street the next day.
Like this is a James Bond movie or something.
No, that's not.
James Bond is too highbrow for what these people watch.
Like it's some stupid comic book movie.
Frankly, this is like 1960s Batman TV show.
Like, Will, Robin, I know what we'll do.
We'll give them some of the magic bat potion, which will completely incapacitate them for exactly the amount of time that I need without any long-term health effects.
That's right, Robin.
That's what we're going to do.
And this lady thinks that's real.
Do you know?
Do you know how hard it is to perfectly poison someone such that there are no long-term consequences?
Do you know how what do you think?
It's so sad.
This is the extreme version of why didn't he just shoot him in the leg?
Which is the gun control version of getting your morality and your anthropology and your politics from cartoons.
Why didn't you just shoot him in the leg?
Why didn't you, hey, I know, when the guy had the gun and he was pointing it at everybody and his finger was almost about to pull the trigger, why didn't you take your gun and shoot his gun out of his hand?
You know, like they did on Bug's Bunny.
Like, I know what you can do.
You can bend Elmer Fudd's shotgun back toward and put it in his head before he notices it.
This is what these people think.
So look, the good news is this lady was fired.
A VCU came out.
We need many more such firings.
I've been calling for this since Charlie Kirk was assassinated.
The people who openly call for the murder of conservatives, be they students, be they patients, who openly call for this, who openly even joke about this, but it doesn't seem like a total joke, they need to be fired.
They need to be ostracized from society.
I know some people on the right, especially the libertarians, are going to have trouble calling for that because they've been digging their heels in as free speech absolutists for years and years.
Ain't me.
I've never had that problem.
I read a whole book about it called Speechless Controlling Words Controlling Minds.
Don't know if we have the bell going in the remote studio.
In any case, we need that.
We need standards.
We need norms.
For the good of these people, too.
These people need to learn.
Down to the most basic thing.
A woman cannot beat up a man.
And I know there are liberals who listen to the show.
I know there are independents and moderates.
I'm very grateful to all of you.
I'm so glad.
It's wonderful that you listen to the show.
Probably, and there are going to be some conservatives who hear that statement.
They say, well, you know, it depends on the woman.
You know, it depends on the man.
No, it doesn't.
It doesn't.
You think I'm some Madonna?
You think that I'm Bruce Jenner?
Like, well, you know, before, hold on, that's actually a bad example.
You think that I'm some hulking athlete?
I'm not.
It's going to be big news to you.
Have you heard the story of the Williams sisters, Venus and Serena Williams, with, I think his name is Karsten Brosch.
I'm just going to look this up.
This is one of the advantages.
Oh, no, I actually don't think the internet's working again because we're living in Mad Max, Mad Max Nashville right now.
The internet's not working.
I think his name is Karsten Brosch.
So the Williams sisters, and this is in the 90s, they were very good at tennis, and they said, you know, we want to play against a man.
So we're going to say any man who's ranked out of the top 200, we're going to play against him.
And this guy was ranked 204 or something, 208.
And he took them up on it.
He took up the sisters on a double header.
So he was going to play both of them in the same day.
To prepare for his matches against the Williams sisters, he went out, played a round of golf, had a couple of beers, and smoked half a pack of cigarettes.
He then shows up and he completely trounces the first one.
It was like six to one or something.
And then trounces the second one.
This is back-to-back six to two.
And the Williams sisters are great athletes.
They're really great.
They're like the best female athletes alive.
They're great.
But women can't beat up men.
They're not as physically strong as men.
And these ladies out there in the anti-ICE agitator networks, they think they can because they watched that new stupid Star Wars where the Jedi girl just like beats everybody.
And at least there, it's Star Wars, or they have the Force or whatever.
They have like Live Long and Prosper.
I don't know.
They have Dumbledore.
I don't know, whatever it is.
And so like there, you can almost suspend this belief.
This is what they believe.
They believe Captain Marvel.
Life is not Captain Marvel.
And they need to learn that.
Muslim Aggression in America00:02:48
They need to learn the difference between reality and make-believe because it's having terrible effects for society.
And it's having terrible effects for them as well.
Okay.
Speaking of immigrant-led violence, this is not just limited to Minneapolis, as I said.
You're also seeing immigrant-led violence in Washington State.
So a Muslim in Washington State reportedly walked up to a Christian walking his dog.
And, well, here, here's the local news report.
Let them say it themselves.
Pierce County deputies say the victim told officers that the suspect asked what religion he was.
And when he said he was a Christian, the suspect reportedly stabbed him and his dog.
Both were taken to hospitals in serious condition, and deputies say the dog went into emergency surgery.
Deputies were searching for the suspect then for more than two hours after he ran from the stabbing scene.
It's not great, right?
This sort of thing is common in some Muslim countries.
I'm not going to say all Muslim countries.
I've traveled around to Muslim countries.
I've had a nice time.
I visited Dubai once.
It's kind of a dark place.
It's a little quite decadent, but everyone is perfectly polite.
I had a nice time in Lebanon, actually.
It's sad what Hezbollah has done to the place, but there are plenty of nice Muslims there.
In a lot of Muslim countries, this kind of thing happens.
The Muslim persecution of Christians, especially if you go into Africa, but throughout the Middle East and elsewhere, is really, really bad.
And it's been really, really bad for 1,400 years.
There are plenty of nice Muslims.
There are some Muslim states that are more secular where they're relatively nicer to the Christians, but it's pretty bad.
You know, the Christians have had some run-ins with the Muslims over the years, and it's the Muslim aggression that does it.
Lest we forget, Islam begins in Arabia.
They then conquer the Levant, which had been Christian in the 7th century.
They then move and try to conquer not just North Africa, but all the way up to Europe.
They conquer Iberia.
They make it to 150 miles outside of Paris by 732.
Thankfully, Charles the Hammer turns them back.
So this is an aggressive theme throughout history.
It's not just an aberration.
It's not just one crazy guy.
We previously didn't have to deal with this very much in America.
Now we're dealing with this more in America.
And when we say, you know, some Muslim cultures don't really do this, that's true.
But the kind of Muslim cultures we're taking in, the refugee kind of cultures, not exactly the transnational elite kind of Muslim cultures, but like the refugee ones, they do this more.
Major Pro-Life vs. Pastor Debate00:08:56
We don't have to do that.
We don't have to live that way.
We can have compassion for other people.
One of the greatest ways we can show compassion and charity for Muslims is by evangelizing them.
A lot of liberals don't want us to do that either, but we don't have to live like this.
That's what the mass deportation is about.
That's what Trump running on immigration is about.
That's what the popular vote was about in 2024.
Okay, much more to say on all of this, but I want to turn to a major pro-life activist having a bizarre debate with a pro-abortion pastor.
First of all, I want to tell you about lean.

My friend Kristen Hawkins runs Students for Life.
She just debated a pro-abortion pastor.
Take a listen.
Do you believe Christ was fully human in the womb?
I believe that Christ was fully human in the womb, but I'm going to guarantee you that I think that who we think Jesus is and did are probably going to differ.
Do you believe Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came to earth and was an actual human in human form, was a human man.
Yes, but whenever you use the form son of God, you're imposing a theological statement about divinity of Jesus that I do not see.
You don't think he was a professional.
You don't believe in the Trinity?
Do you believe in the Trinity?
I do not.
But this is not.
You're not a Christian.
Well, see, you don't get to define who is and who isn't a Christian.
I mean, every Christian denomination would say, if you do not believe in the Trinity, you are not a Christian.
Great round from Kristen.
Very sharp lady, wonderful pro-life advocate.
And she has a great line here.
She goes, hold on, hold on.
You're a pastor, but you're pro-abortion.
Well, was Christ human in the womb?
And all of a sudden, Pastor Bowtie, Mr. Pastor Bowtie, says, well, you know, I mean, we probably mean very different things by human.
Kristen's Catholic.
This guy is something.
I don't know what this guy is.
Because it comes to the point where he says, well, yeah, I don't believe in the divinity of Christ.
And she says, oh, you don't believe in the Trinity.
The Trinity is the central mystery of the Christian faith, so you're not a Christian.
And then he says, well, you don't get to define who is and who is not a Christian.
And this to me, look, she made great points on abortion.
This is a great debate tactic and line to use, and all the pro-lifers who listen should use that kind of line.
But I want to hone in here on, you don't get to define who is and who is not Christian.
Because I think, okay, well, yeah, sure, maybe that's above my pay grade.
Certainly to judge people as Christian or not, I guess.
Maybe, sort of.
But, okay, if I'm not qualified to do it, how about like the ecumenical councils?
Because the thing that he is denying, namely the divinity of Christ, that's not like having an issue with some aspect of the Quinisext Council or say the Fifth Lateran Council, you know, having a criticism saying, you know, that Fifth Lateran Council, it wasn't the most effective.
It's not having some minor quibble with church history.
This is an outright rejection of the Council of Nicaea.
One of the most important councils.
That's where we get the Nicene Creed.
The sort of thing where C.S. Lewis, a Protestant, said, you know, mere Christianity is the broadest definition we could possibly have of Christianity is all the people who agree with the Nicene Creed, who have this common creed.
He says, no, I don't believe in that.
And what's the answer to that?
What is the answer to this guy?
Look, I think Kristen answered it very well.
He says, well, look, you're just not a Christian.
He says, well, who's to say?
And this is one of the issues.
I don't mean to beat up with my Protestant friends here.
I was just giving plaudits to mere Christianity.
But this is one of the key problems with sola scriptura as a view of not only the Bible, but of the faith.
Because there will be some people who say, well, no, it's not even the ecumenical councils who decide it.
You might say, well, the delineation between Christians and non-Christians is whether or not you've been baptized.
In 1 Peter, St. Peter tells us that baptism now saves you.
And you say, so if you're baptized in the proper matter and form of the Trinitarian formula in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, then you're a baptized Christian.
But some people would say, no, we reject the sacraments, but they would believe with the Nicene Creed.
They'd say, well, we reject some of the ecumenical councils, but we believe in the Nicene Creed.
So I believe in the C.S. Lewis, mere Christianity.
And you say, okay, so then what decides?
What defines what is a Christian?
And what a lot of those people who believe in sola scriptura would say is, well, the Bible.
I say, okay, but here's the problem.
Mr. Bowtie is arguing that his view is biblical.
He is.
And I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.
Maybe he's a cynic, maybe he's a liar, maybe he's a cheat and a scoundrel, maybe.
But one could imagine that someone would earnestly believe that their completely lunatic heretical views down to like we should murder babies is biblical.
And what do you say to that?
You say, no, it's not.
I say, no, it is.
The Bible told me so.
You say, no, it didn't.
The Bible told me so.
I say, well, who, because texts have to be interpreted.
This is one of the first points that St. Thomas Aquinas makes in the Summa Theologiae as he's explaining the different types of biblical exegesis, the different levels of meaning on which the Bible is always playing, the literal, the allegorical, the moral, and the anagogical meaning with relation to eternity and the end times.
He points out that words have to be interpreted.
And because God is the author of all things, things have meaning as well.
Even things have to be interpreted.
So the question is, what's your interpretive principle?
A sola scriptura approach to the faith cannot produce a unified church.
And there are plenty of people who say, well, that's good.
I don't want to have a unified church.
You know, I'm an independent.
I'm an individualist.
I'm okay.
But traditionally speaking, four marks of the church are one holy Catholic and apostolic.
That's part of the Nicene Creed that C.S. Lewis says is the bare minimum for Christianity.
It's a very, this is the extreme, but we see this with the radical left in politics.
They say, well, you can't define me.
You can't define my sex.
You can't define what an American is.
The face-tattoed foreigner is actually more American than you who's living in Ohio.
And what's the answer?
No, you need some authority.
And obviously, you know my view on this.
I think our Lord actually does establish authority that has passed on through the ages and he'll never leave the church and all the rest of it.
Maybe you disagree with me, maybe you don't.
But I'm actually asking you to put aside your specific religious views on this, just for a moment, just to think, what is the authority by which one interprets anything or defines anything or holds any body together?
Speaking of perverse moral views, there's a socialist dad who has gone viral.
I've got to give a hat tip here to Cassandra McDonald at Cassandra Rules on the tweets.
Feel Sorry for Deception00:13:57
This guy who cannot fathom, cannot fathom that people across the country would go out and eat in a restaurant after the Alex Pretty shooting.
They ate as though they could consume the fear.
I keep thinking about that quote.
Yesterday after what happened in Minneapolis, I had to go to work at night.
And as I was going around town, I kept being amazed at how many people were just out at restaurants.
Every restaurant was packed.
Everything was packed and there was just this vibrant energy and there was loud noise.
There was loud volume in the restaurant.
And I made an intentional effort to look at people the same day after what happened or the day of what happened in Minneapolis with Alex Pretty.
And none of these people were remotely bothered by the world and what is clearly, clearly an escalating situation.
We are in a state of collective denial and collective denial is much more powerful than individual observation.
No one thing I could see or say to them would change them or shake them from this collective denial, but it was still very shocking to see.
I walked around all day yesterday with the heavy weight of what is happening in this world right now.
They're all in denial.
Denial, denial, denial.
They don't see what's happening.
They don't see.
It's all denial.
I'm not in denial.
I'm not in denial.
I saw what happened.
I saw that guy get shot.
And I know he might not have had his gun on him at the time.
He might have.
It's still kind of unclear from the videos.
There will be investigations.
We'll find out.
Might have been kind of a mistake.
A mistake that was reasonable for a shooting that was justified because of many errors in judgment that he made in the lead up to this.
Apparently, this guy, Alex Pretty, had just had his rib broken in another altercation with law enforcement a week or two ago.
So this guy was becoming a professional agitator, obstructing justice.
But whatever, I know it might have been might have been unnecessary to shoot him.
Maybe.
I mean, in the moment, it was the right call for the cops.
I'm pretty convinced of that.
I don't really see a good argument against that.
But I'm not in denial about what happened.
They shot that guy.
They killed him.
The cops shot Renee Goode when she rode the SUV into them.
Yeah, I saw that.
And I could go out to dinner and have a nice big bowl of spaghetti and not think twice about it.
feel sad.
I'm not happy that these people are dead.
No man is an island entire unto himself.
Each man's death diminishes me.
I feel sorry for them.
I feel sorry for their delusion.
I feel sorry that they were let into this.
I really feel sorry for their families.
I feel sorry for the country.
It's very sad.
Feel sorry that they put law enforcement in that position.
I do.
I do.
Call me a squish.
Call me a softy.
I do.
I'm not losing sleep over it.
I'm not missing a meal.
I think the real denial here, this guy's argument is we just don't know what really no, I know exactly what happened.
And I am totally fine with it.
I'm a little saddened, but it's a fallen world and that was the least bad option.
I think the real denial here is from the libs who don't realize how real this all is.
They don't realize that most Americans voted for mass deportations.
In 2024, Trump won the popular vote.
He wasn't hiding the ball.
He was running on mass deportations.
He was running on deporting Ibuela.
And he won record numbers of Hispanics.
By the way, his approval rating with Hispanics is going up right now.
He won record numbers of black men.
He won record numbers of women and women under 30.
40% of women under 30 voted for him.
Running on mass deportations.
Like, not quite boxcars, because, you know, there aren't like trains and stuff, but like Tom Holman saying, go on, undele, undale, get, get, get.
That's what he ran on, and they voted for that.
And I think it's these guys who are in denial.
Yeah.
People are going to dinner and they feel safer in their community.
By the way, the murder rate has just plummeted.
By the way, rental costs are plummeting.
By the way, nature is healing.
The body politic is healing.
Not because there's anything wrong with sombreros or tacos or whatever.
There is something wrong with face-tatted gangsters, but because it is disordered.
It's a disordered act to enter a country illegally and to remain in that country illegally and to defy the law and to undermine the legitimacy of the regime, of the body politic.
That's disorder.
And when you start to fix that, things start to get better.
Now, speaking of Alex Pretty, just there's one point on this.
This is so sad and horrifying.
We'll get to it in one second because it's actually, it's a final indignity done to him by the left.

I did not believe this when I saw it.
I did not believe this.
The allegation was, do we have the picture?
The allegation was that MSNBC, now called MS Now, but it's MSNBC.
The picture they posted of this guy who got shot by the cops when he was obstructing law enforcement, it wasn't him.
They made, and this is even crazier because Noman S Domen and everything, and the guy's name is Alex Pretty.
And he's not, no offense to the dead, you know, nothing but good do we say about the dead.
He's not like pretty.
He's not like the prettiest guy.
But then this picture they put up on MSNBC, he looks pretty good.
He looks not a total giga chad, but he looks pretty good.
And you look up the guy, and the picture they put on MSNBC is much hotter than the real life guy.
The real life guy, I'm not saying he's hideous, but he just, he looks uglier than he does on MSNBC.
They ran a fake photo.
They looks maxed him.
They vindicated the 19-year-old that I interviewed who uses meth and he's a looks maxer.
Remember him, clavicular?
And he said the only thing that matters on earth is physical appearances.
That was his thesis.
And MSNBC is like, wow, that spot on.
They're clavicular maxing is what they're doing.
They're Clav fans.
What a horrible final indignity that your own side, that you, like a kamikaze, like a jihadi, blew yourself up for, your own side finally says as your epitaph, he was pretty ugly, so we just drew a different picture of him instead.
And so they put this picture up.
This is a reminder.
I really don't mean to beat up on the guy.
I do mean to beat up on MSNBC.
There is a political takeaway from this, which is you could never really trust what the establishment media tell you.
And when you talk to your more normy cousins or family members, and they just don't believe stuff that's going on.
Yeah, you hear about that like $9 billion in fraud from the Somalis in Minnesota?
No, that's not happening.
What do you mean that's not happening, Grandpa?
It's not happening because if it were happening, I'd have seen it on the news.
I'd have read about it in the New York Times.
You say, no, you wouldn't have.
That's the problem.
You actually wouldn't have.
We've known for a long time you can't believe what you see in the establishment media.
You can't even believe the pictures of their own guys.
So the other thing they do, Time Magazine does this a lot.
Or what was the most recent?
Was it Vanity Fair or one of them?
Whenever they take pictures of the libs, it's always these glamour shots, even of kind of ugly people, but they make them look as glamorous as they can.
And then with Trump, they end up getting pictures of some actual models, you know, like Melania Trump, for instance, or even Caroline Levitt.
I don't want to be, you know, I'm a married man.
I don't want to say, but, you know, she's a nice looking lady.
And then these liberal photojournalists do everything they possibly can to make her look less attractive.
Oh, they do this all the time.
Now they're just AIing.
They're just making up their own martyr.
They said, this guy doesn't quite fit the bill.
He's a little out there.
So, you know what?
We're just going to fix him up a little.
That's actually a change.
That is a change in kind of the kind of deceit that you're going to get from the establishment media.
But at this point, you cannot believe photographs or videos.
The amount of AI slot videos, how many Boomers to definitely to Gen X, maybe to elder millennials, have been tricked by the slop on Facebook and Instagram of the supposed ICE raids, where it's just totally made up.
Total fake news.
Many, many of them.
So you can't trust it.
Before we go, I know, you know, listen, I run long, the clock, I don't even have a clock in this room.
But there's one last thing I want to get to.
This is Michelle Obama, who's from a few days ago.
However, with all this no apocalypse, I don't want to let this one slip away.
It's Michelle Obama, you know, this poor woman, the most put-upon, aggrieved woman, constantly belittled, you know, disadvantaged because of her race, because of her sex.
Poor Michelle Obama.
Now she's not just whining about her race and her sex.
Well, she's also doing that in this interview, but it's an interview where she whines about being Barack Obama's wife.
I was a dean of students.
I was like, oh, you guys, all of that just disappeared in the course of this whole election.
And you now see me as just Barack Obama's wife.
So that made me say, well, that quickly, my shoes become the most important thing about me, right?
And again, not unique to me.
It can happen to the best of us.
So I shied away from fashion leading the conversation.
Can I say something?
You know me, I feel.
I'm a feeling man.
And I feel bad for these people who put themselves in harm's way, but then they get killed by the cops, whatever.
I pity Barack.
I pity Barack.
I pity the fool.
Poor Barack.
He has a tough life.
Barack, he's rich.
He's rich.
He was president.
He gets to do whatever he wants.
Toast of the town.
Smart, relatively smart, relatively good looking.
What do you mean you feel bad?
Oh, it's hard to make up for that.
You know me.
I thank my lucky stars every day.
I have sweet little Lisa.
You know me.
And if I had, she's complaining.
She's complaining that her husband is the rich, powerful president, pretty good-looking guy.
I can't imagine he's very demanding.
The lesson for all of us, the lesson here is not that you should pity Barack Obama, though occasionally maybe you should.
The lesson here is there's always something to complain about.
There's always, there is always something to complain about.
You can always complain.
You can always feel justified in your complaining.
Just don't.
You can point out an injustice in order to try to advance the common good.
That's not what most people are really doing when they complain.
They're mostly whining.
There's always something to complain about.
And when you feel that impulse, just don't.
Just don't.
You think you're entitled to life.
Your life is a gift.
You're not a self-created being.
Everything you get in this world is a gift.
And if you whine about everything, you're going to end up like Michelle Obama.
Nobody wants that.
Nobody wants that.
Least of all, Barack wants to.
Anyway, okay, that's it.
That's our show.
I'm Michael Knowles.
This is the Michael Knowles Show.
I might be back in the studio tomorrow.
If not, I'm going to grab that pea base off the wall.
I'm just going to start jamming.
Everything Is a Gift00:02:01
See you then.
What was it like, Merlin?
To be alone with God?
Is that who you think I was alone with?
Meridin, I knew your father.
I am yet convinced that he was not of this world.
All men know of the great Taliesin.
Who are my father?
That the gods should war for my soul.
Princess Garris, savior of our people.
I know what the Bull God offered you.
I was offered the same.
And there is a new pirate work in the world.
I've seen it.
A god who sacrifices what he loves for us.
We are each given only one life, singer.
No.
We're given another.
I learned of Yezu the Christ, and I have become his follower.
He's waiting on a miracle, and I think you can give him one.
Trust in Yezu.
He is the only hope for men like us.
Fate of Britain never rests in the hands of the Great Light.
Great Light, Great Darkness.
Such things mattered to me then.
What matters to you now, Mistress of Lies?
You, nephew.
The sword of a high king.
How many lives must be lost before you accept the power you were born to wield?
Still clinging to the promises of a god who has abandoned you.
