The DNC is Over... Let's DEBUNK the Top 10 LIES Told About Donald Trump | FULL EPISODE | Huckabee

Text
Okay, last week, you may remember, I let you hear Kamala Harris speak for herself on issues ranging from Israel, abortion, the border, crime, and the economy.
I didn't just tell you what she has said over the years.
I played the tape, the tape of her saying it.
Now, you need to know what a vote for her will mean to your life, your family, and your values.
Well, this week, we had that little event going on in Chicago.
The Democrat National Convention.
I know you've just enjoyed every moment of it because it was so filled with joy, right?
Seriously?
I mean, we have been treated to a multi-night broadside accusing Donald Trump of pretty much everything from racism to grand theft.
I mean, there was really nothing new in the accusations.
But I got to be honest, it's wearing a little thin that a party that pretends that it hates Donald Trump for name calling Would spend four consecutive nights with a scripted narrative that did little but call Donald Trump every name of the worst kind.
From having been around him, I can assure you, it did not melt him into the pavement with fear or hurt feelings.
It just didn't.
But I do hope those people, you know, the ones who say they wouldn't vote for Trump because he says mean things.
He calls people's names.
I would say get over your petty hurts and realizes that what he does, he calls people, names, in part to point out the hypocrisy of those whose over-the-top hatred of him is frankly irrational and for the most part, unfounded.
Over the next few months, you're gonna hear mostly the same list of utterly nonsense hoaxes that have been long debunked Even some debunked by liberal fact-checkers and media outlets.
Now, the staff writers who work with me publishing my twice daily newsletter have compiled the top 10 corrections to lies about Donald Trump that you heard this week at the DNC. I thought you might enjoy hearing those top 10. Here they are.
Number one, Trump's 2016 campaign did not collude with Russia.
In fact, the government wasted $30 million of our tax money investigating that groundless accusation and found it wasn't true.
Number two.
Donald Trump did not incite his followers to riot or attack police officers on January 6th of 2021. He actually told them to protest peacefully and patriotically.
And after the riots started, he urged them to obey the police and leave quietly.
He also urged Nancy Pelosi and the mayor of DC to let him send 10,000 National Guard troops that day, and they both refused.
Number three, Trump did not try to grab the wheel of the presidential limo and force his driver to take him to the Capitol on January 6th.
Of all the nutty things, that's the dumbest thing I have ever heard.
I've been in the presidential limousine with presidents before.
I always wanted to ride in it as the president.
That never really worked out.
But I've been in that car with the dude who's the president on several occasions, more than one president.
And I got to tell you, you can't jump up from the back to the front seat.
It's physically impossible.
And when that came out, anybody who's ever been around a presidential detail said, got to be kidding.
Well, that's been debunked by all the alleged witnesses who were there.
Number four, Trump never said there were very fine people among the neo-Nazis at Charlottesville.
Never said that.
He actually said that those people, the neo-Nazis, should be condemned totally.
Even a liberal fact check group admitted that any other assessment of that was totally false.
Number five, Trump did not refuse to visit a U.S. military cemetery in France because he said the soldiers there were suckers and losers.
The trip got canceled because the weather was too dangerous for his helicopter to take off.
And that whole comment about the suckers and losers, that was refuted by everyone who was present, including my own daughter, but also including people who are not even Trump fans.
And if I didn't trust them, I'd always trust my daughter.
Just would do that.
Never said that.
Number six.
Trump never said he planned to be a dictator from day one if he was re-elected.
In fact, he scoffed at the accusation and then joked that he would be a dictator but only for one day.
He'd order the border sealed and oil companies to drill baby drill.
So, joking about being a dictator for one day and vowing to be a dictator from day one Are two very different things.
But let's face it, the people on the far left, they do not have a sense of humor.
Number seven, Trump did not say there would be a bloodbath if he didn't win.
He said there would be a bloodbath, a financial bloodbath in the automobile industry if Biden did win.
Simple as that.
Number eight, Trump never suggested that Americans inject or drink bleach to fight COVID. Again, one of the dumbest things I ever heard him accused of.
Yeah, Donald Trump said you ought to inject bleach.
I think people who say that, they did inject the bleach.
I mean, something fried their brains.
I mean, seriously, did anyone honestly believe that one?
Number nine, Trump's platform is called Agenda 47, not Project 2025. Project 2025. It's a Heritage Foundation initiative that Trump had nothing to do with.
He's even dismissed it, even though, quite frankly, it's not at all a scary plan.
It actually is pretty sensible.
But the Democrats decided that they were going to attack it, and it was horrible, because you know why?
I'll tell you why they didn't like it.
It had too many pages, and they didn't have enough pages to color.
That's what they didn't like about it.
And then number 10, Trump does not back a federal abortion ban.
He agrees with the Supreme Court.
That is a state issue, and that's what the repeal of Roe v.
Wade did.
Now, those are just the top 10 lies that are said about Donald Trump.
There are plenty more, but you get the picture.
So when you have family or friends who are never Trumpers, because they are repeating the lies, take the list I've just given you and help them out.
You know, Jesus said it well.
You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.
My next guest represents the great state of Tennessee in the United States Senate.
She is a champion for forcing social media companies to operate with a level of accountability that nobody else has put on them.
She's also known as a senator who is as tough as they come.
I want you to welcome back to the show one of our very favorites, Republican Marsha Blackburn.
Well, Senator, as you can tell, you are in friendly territory here tonight.
Yes, I am.
And you should be.
For anybody who loves this country, you are one of those folks that we just thank God for because you are fighting the fight.
I like to say it this way.
You're doing the Lord's work in the devil's town.
Well, there you go.
You're doing it.
And I'm glad I'm there and honored to be there.
Thank you.
You've watched, as we all have this week, the Democratic National Convention.
Any surprises for you?
Not really any surprises.
You know, I thought it was so interesting that they kind of co-opted the language of the right, talking about freedom and opportunity and the Constitution and the rule of law.
But you know, Governor, their policies are all about taking away your freedom, giving it to the government, and letting the government dish back out to you what they think you should have.
And you look at Kamala Harris's policies, and she would end private health insurance and put everybody on Medicare for All, which is not, you wouldn't even have private insurance there.
It would be total government control.
She's voted to and wanted to abolish ICE. She has supported defunding the police.
And these are things we know, but they're now trying to distance her from all of that.
You know, she didn't want to be named the border czar.
I mean, when I say named, she didn't want to be called that.
Right.
Even though she was designated the border czar.
I mean, she was in charge of the border.
Joe Biden said, my vice president is going to be in charge.
We've been told for three and a half years the border is secure.
They're doing a great job.
We've heard it from Mayorkas.
We hear it from her.
We've heard it from Biden and the press secretary that the border is under control.
So if it is so under control, if it is in such good shape, why wouldn't she embrace the title and be proud to be called the borders are and say, all that down there, that's my doing.
And that is what we would have expected her to do, is to, if she thought she had been successful in dealing with the border, she would have done that.
But we know that ten and a half million illegal entrants, and however many gotaways that are out there, Hundreds of people that are on the terrorist watch list.
99 that they've admitted have been released into the country.
Tens of thousands of Chinese nationals coming into the country.
And Governor, as you know, you don't just walk out of China and say, I'm going to cross an ocean and I'm going to get into the U.S. We know that they've been given permission.
And then you've got tens of thousands of gang members.
And this week we find out that DHS has probably lost track of over 300,000 migrant children.
When you say lost them, they have no idea where they are?
They don't know where they are.
They cannot get their sponsors who were not properly vetted.
They don't answer the phone.
They don't respond to the email.
And we found out about 15, 16 months ago that you had about 85,000 of these children that were missing.
And they couldn't Get track of them.
We found it out because of a New York Times reporter talking about these children being part of labor gangs and working in food processing facilities.
And now we find out that the number is north of 300,000 children.
The government doesn't know if they're dead or alive, if they're being trafficked, if they're being put into labor gangs or gangs or having to deal drugs.
These are unaccompanied alien children that came into the country, the government placed them with sponsors, and now they're not able to get a count of where these children are.
That alone, Senator, should be reason to make a change in administration.
If you lose 300,000 children and you don't have a clue what happened to them, The first sin was letting them come over without the parents, without family, and just letting these kids come into the country.
And the second, somehow believing they would magically line up with their sponsors.
I mean, that's a horrific situation.
That's bigger than most cities in America, 300,000.
And these are kids.
These are children.
That's right.
Are you confident the election this year is going to be on the up and up, and by that I mean done with integrity, honest, fair, objective, all the votes counted that should be counted, and none of the votes counted with people who are not legal to vote?
Yes, and I am encouraged that we have several states that have strengthened their voting laws.
Arizona has recently cleared that hurdle.
The court has decided they can have that ID and proof of citizenship.
There are 24 states that have joined together with a lawsuit to go before the court to make certain that people are citizens These are important steps.
In Tennessee, I have to brag on us, our Secretary of State, Trey Hargett, has been ranked by the Secretaries of State as our state having the most safe and secure elections.
And we are just really honored with that.
It is something to applaud and something to be proud of.
Yes, it is.
But we have a lot more to talk about with Senator Marsha Blackburn when we come back, so we want you to stay put.
But right now, Keith Bilbrey is going to tell us what's coming up for the rest of the show tonight.
Keith?
Well, still to come, from the latest installment of God's Not Dead, actors David A.R. White and Scott Baio previewed their new film.
And later, music from the iconic worship group Sonic Flood.
You're watching Huckabee.

And welcome back.
everybody.
We are here with Senator Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee.
This week, she introduced a resolution condemning the so-called border czar of the past three years, Vice President Kamala Harris.
And we're kind of glad you did that.
Well, thank you.
You have done some what I would consider epic moments in the U.S. Senate, one of which was the day that the social media company executives came to the Senate To pretend that they were really accountable, that they were trying to be fair and balanced.
The takedown that I watched you do, of Mark Zuckerberg in particular, was one of the finest moments I've ever seen in a Senate hearing.
And I just want to say, you showed some moxie out there.
And I mean, you scared him to death.
I could see in his face, it's like, who let me come here to talk to her?
But you have been on top of this issue in a way that most of the folks in Congress haven't.
Explain what it is that you think we're really being taken advantage of.
Oh, indeed.
And yes, social media does need to be held accountable, and that is why I wrote the Kids Online Safety Act.
It is bipartisan.
Senator Blumenthal and I have done this as a team.
There are 72 senators that are co-sponsors, and it cleared the Senate with a 91-3 vote.
91-3.
91-3.
There's almost nothing that goes like that.
That's right.
But there is agreement that our children should be protected in the virtual space.
So this requires safety by design for online and a duty of care.
You know, Governor, in the physical world there are laws against exposing children or selling alcohol, tobacco, pornography to children, exposing them to pornography, taking them to a casino, taking them to a strip show.
You can't do that.
But what we have learned is in the virtual space, children are exposed to this 24-7.
So this puts in place protections, forces the social media platforms to open those black box algorithms, gives parents and kids a toolbox to use to set their settings so that they know what the exposure is, and then gives a portal for kids to be able to report bad actors.
So you can get these drug dealers and pedophiles off those platforms and clean up this virtual space for our children.
You know, I think people need to understand, in the old days, if somebody was going to take advantage of a child, they'd stand on some seedy street corner, or they'd have a kidnapper van over by the park and offer kids candy to get in the van.
These days, all the predators are online.
That's right.
They're fishing for these kids, and that's where the kids are.
That's right.
I mean, they're floating in that water, and they're getting the bait, and I mean, it's...
It's incredible that you have an almost unanimous vote.
But I want to say plaudits to the Democrats as well, who worked with you to get this done, who recognized this is not a partisan issue.
This is one of those few things.
Where does it go from here?
Will it pass the House?
Will it go on?
Will the President sign it?
It is heading to the House, so everyone needs to call their member of Congress and say, it's time to pass the Kids Online Safety Act.
And I encourage them to keep up with the work that we are doing here.
You cannot continue to expose children to self-harm, cyberbullying, pedophiles, drug dealers and do that on the virtual space.
There have to be those protections put in place to protect our children and to give parents what they need.
It is a remarkable piece of legislation.
It's kind of nice to see Washington do something that we can all say, thank you.
Thank you for doing that, rather than, why on the world did you do that?
And this is one of those.
Before I let you go, I want to ask you about the races this year.
I know that you're actually in a reelection effort, although I cannot imagine that the opponent you have is being taken that seriously, but you still will work hard because that's what you do.
That's right.
Chuck Schumer has said Democrats are going to keep the Senate.
What do you think?
Oh, no, they're not.
Republicans are going to take the Senate.
We've got great candidates and great races that are going on.
Tim Sheehy out in Montana, Captain Sam Brand in Nevada.
You've got Bernie Marino in Ohio who is going to win that race.
Got some Ohio people here.
Right.
Mike Rogers out of Michigan.
Hovde is out of Wisconsin.
And you've got McCormick over in Pennsylvania.
And of course, Governor Justice over in West Virginia.
So you're going to see Republican control of the U.S. Senate.
And I fully believe President Donald Trump at the top of that ticket going to the White House.
And all of your viewers can keep up with our race.
As you said, I am up for re-election, and it is MarshaBlackburn.com to keep up with my race.
And we want to do that because we need to keep you there.
Thank you.
You're doing the kind of job we all wish that we saw.
And you can keep up with Senator Marsha Blackburn through all of her social media platforms.
Visiting her guest page, go to Huckabee.tv.
We have a direct link to her page.
Keith Bilbrey, he's standing by to tell us who's coming up next on the show.
So, Keith, it's all yours.
Well, stay right where you are.
Actors David A.R. White and Scott Bale from the latest God's Not Dead movie, Take the State.
Then a visit from the energy expert, Daniel Turner.
That's all I had on Huckabee. - Hey!
See you next time.
The latest installment in the hit faith-based film series, God's Not Dead, In God We Trust, It's hitting theaters September the 12th.
It takes the world of faith into the world of politics.
You know, in some ways, it almost mirrors my own personal journey from pastor to politics.
I'm excited about this film.
I really am.
And not only because I'm in the film.
I mean, that's reason enough, right, huh?
Yeah.
But here's what's really cool.
Part of this film was shot right here in the Huckabee Theater.
I want you to give a big welcome to my co-stars in the film God's Not Dead.
Actually, they are the stars of God's Not Dead in God We Trust.
I'm talking about Emmy-nominated actor, producer, and author David A.R. White and movie and TV icon Scott Baio.
Give them a big welcome.
Hey, you brought a fan club with you brought a fan club with you.
It's gonna be just like this on Oscar night.
And I promise, when I get that Oscar, I'm gonna mention both of you.
I'm absolutely gonna do it.
All kidding aside, fifth in the series, I think it's the best.
David, I think it's the best one you've done, and I am so thrilled for the message of this film.
Give us an overview of what God's Not Dead and God We Trust is about.
It stars Scott Baio, first and foremost.
No, it does not.
It stars Dave.
It stars Dave.
I have a very important role in the movie.
I don't.
No, you do.
You have a very important role in the movie.
Go ahead, Dave.
Sorry.
It is about...
My character, I played Reverend Dave.
He's back.
And the incumbent passes, and there's a slot.
There's only four weeks before the election, and nobody wants to run because politics is a dirty business as well.
As I... For sure, no.
You've been through that.
And also, because it kind of mirrors what the movie's about, is that Christians don't want to be involved in politics.
There's this crazy stat that says 40 million American Christians don't vote in presidential elections.
40 million.
Yeah.
Which means that every single election...
Would be turned if Christians just went and voted.
They don't have to put out a sign or scream or yell or do anything other than just simply vote.
That's it.
Just be involved.
Yeah.
Which is just voting.
Like, that's the first step of just getting involved.
And so that's the movie.
And, you know, lots of twists and turns.
And the arch nemesis in the movie is all about stamping out God in culture and in our country.
And unfortunately, there's a lot of truth to that going on right now.
Life in maintaining art.
It really does accurately depict what happens in a political world.
And when I saw the film, my first thought was, you guys did great research.
This is authentic.
And people who haven't been involved in politics maybe won't recognize it.
I think, yeah, that's just the story they're telling.
I'm telling you, you nailed it.
Scott, you play an interesting, you play a bad guy in this.
You're not a bad guy.
You're one of the best guys I know.
You're exactly right, Governor.
I'm a great guy.
But I've been playing good guys forever on television, and David came to me and said, do you want to do this role of a bad guy to hell?
The guy I play tries to take David down, take the pastor down, because I'm working for an actor...
The gentleman, his name is Ray Wise, was a fantastic actor.
And that's what I do in the movie.
So we're always plotting against Dave and his army, against our army.
And it was a lot of fun.
I mean, it was a lot of fun doing this movie.
What I think you guys capture very well is that the real battle that a lot of people will never see, they think that it's all political.
The truth is, it's spiritual.
That's where the war is going on.
And you do that without it being preachy, without it being churchy.
It's a powerful film, and it just moves.
When people see it, they're going to be amazed when it comes to the end, and they'll say, wow, you've only been here 10 minutes.
And the ending at the debate, and I've told David this, is absolutely fantastic.
I honestly think it's just a stellar film.
David, the timing of this film couldn't be better.
I mean, here we are in the middle of one of the most contentious election seasons ever.
Was that intentional?
I mean, the crazy thing about the God's Not Dead franchise is that it kind of mirrors what's going on in culture at the time.
I would love to say, you know, we come up with these brilliant concepts and it's all our idea.
But really, I feel like it's a bit of God-breathed, you know, not to say that it's anything close to Scripture.
I'm not saying that.
But I just believe that God brings it for such a time as this.
He brings it out.
And this one, again, just seems like it's aligning up perfectly with Where culture is and what culture needs to hear and see.
Well, I want everyone to watch this film.
I'm going to be back with David and Scott in a moment because I want to get into more of the extraordinary nature of this film and why I hope don't let anything keep you from seeing it, but don't see it alone.
See it with friends, relatives, neighbors, people you work with.
American Christians need to see the film because I think it will inspire people to recognize your vote really does count.
We're going to have more with Scott and David in just a moment, but we'll take a brief break.
Stay with us.
Keith Bilby might, I can't guarantee it, but he might even tell us what we have coming up later in the show.
You better believe I will.
Later, Executive Director of Power of the Future, Daniel Turner, discusses the critical state of America's energy.
Then, Rick Heil from the legendary Sonic Plug Horsham Band sits with Mike at the desk before an incredible performance.
It's all coming up on Huckabee.
Huckabee.
And welcome back, everybody.
You know, as much as I'm having fun talking to Scott and David, and I am, one of the reasons this show is so much fun is because of the phenomenal music that we get to hear.
You get to hear little snippets of it.
We get to hear much more of it.
It's all provided by the very best musicians in Nashville, which means the best in the country, Trey Corley and the Music City Connection.
Give them a hand.
Well, we are talking with the real stars of the upcoming movie, God's Not Dead and God We Trust, David R. White and Scott Baio.
When the film, I think, takes hold, one of the things that struck me in it was you instantly are pulled into this battle that the pastor is going through, and he's trying to figure out is Is there a godly way for me to enter into this arena?
It almost feels like we really tried to do this character off of this great man of God, Governor Mike Huckabee.
Well, I don't know about that so much.
But you know what?
I seriously say, I love the fact that we see the struggle.
Because this is not some character that's a cookie cutter.
Everything is perfect.
I do exactly what I'm supposed to do and I don't have any struggles with it.
We see the struggle.
That's powerful because believers do struggle.
I don't know of any people who go through tough decisions and just say, yeah, I'm ready for the fight.
It's not the way it works.
And you guys did a great job of presenting that.
No, thank you.
My father was a minister, right?
And so he always wanted me to become an evangelist, and I didn't want to become an evangelist.
I didn't want to go into ministry.
And somehow I ended up in, you know, a different kind of ministry.
I know, I know, I know.
Here I play a pastor, though.
But as you know, and I mean that respectfully, is that obviously you have an incredible story about how you were a pastor, and then you became a governor and went into politics.
That so often people think, well, you know, when you become a Christian, your life's going to just be perfect and everything like that.
But it is not that.
You're right.
We live in a torn world between the light and darkness.
And ultimately, you know, how as Christians do we maneuver in that and then throw politics in the middle of that?
How do we maneuver in politics on top of it?
You know, part of this film was shot right here in our theater, which we're very excited about because it...
It was fun for us to be able to watch it happen.
And I know we've got some just behind the scenes footage.
We're watching this.
So as we're watching this, as the cameras are rolling in and we're seeing kind of what happened with the day when they filmed.
Scott, I want to just present to you, when you first read this script, how did it strike you?
And did you instantly say, I want to be in the film?
Or did you have to kind of read it through and think, yeah, I don't know if I want to get in one of these faith-based films.
Oh, no.
As soon as I read it, I wanted to do it because I believe in the mission of the movie.
And as you may or may not remember, Governor, I spoke at the Republican Convention for Trump in 2016. And I knew that I was going to be canceled and blackballed.
And I knew it.
And I was okay with it.
And doing this movie was just part of my journey in life because I... My country is more important than me.
My daughter is more important than me.
And I will do whatever I can to keep this country what I remember it as, which was a God-fearing, respectful, law-abiding country, And, you know, there's only a couple of things.
I mean, you know, God-fearing, powerful, prosperous, and safe.
That's really all I want.
And right now, we're none of those things.
So when David offered this to me, I said, yeah, man, I'm here to help.
I'm here to help the cause.
Absolutely.
You added an enormous level of just gravitas to the film.
Oh, well.
And I want to say to both of you.
Thank you.
How wonderful this presentation is.
God's Not Dead in God We Trust opens nationwide in theaters all over the country on September the 12th.
Starring me, of course.
Actually, I have a very small little part, but it really does star David A.R. White and Scott Baio.
Good for you.
Get tickets.
I'm serious.
Get tickets to the movie.
Find a theater near you.
Buy tickets for friends and take them with you.
People need to see this because especially people who say, I don't want to get involved in politics.
I just want to love Jesus and I don't want any of that political stuff too dirty.
Take them to see this film.
If it doesn't change their mind, then okay, you know what?
It can't be changed.
But I really believe it could have an impact on the election when people get the message.
If you want to know how to do all of those things I just mentioned about the tickets, go to Huckabee.tv.
We have direct links because we want you to go to the theater.
We want you to fill it up on September the 12th when it opens.
Make it an extended showing and show Hollywood.
People want to see good films.
This one is a good one.
All right.
We're going to see if Keith Bilbrey can work up a little energy and tell us what's coming up.
Keith?
Well, I'll try.
Daniel Turner brings the energy with his fantastic ideas and policies regarding our country.
and you don't want to miss Sonic Blood's powerful performance of Mayday.
Go to Huckabee.tv and get your very own Made in the USA Huckabee mugs, t-shirts, and more.
*music* Well, my next guest is an energy expert who knows just what policies this country really needs to be stronger, safer, secure, and powerful.
I want you to welcome the executive director of Power the Future.
He's been a guest on my podcast way back when, and just a terrific guy, knows his stuff.
It's kind of refreshing to talk to someone who knows what he's talking about, unlike Keith.
That was pretty cold.
I was just kidding.
Please give a big welcome to Daniel Turner.
Thank you, Daniel.
Great to be here.
I will pay dearly for that horrible remark.
Nothing in this country works without energy.
Nothing.
People don't get it, do they?
How big a deal it is economically, in manufacturing, in our daily lives.
Explain to us why energy may be the single most driving force Of all of the economic issues we're worried about.
It really is.
Energy is absolutely everything.
It's our national security, without a doubt.
It's world peace.
It undergirds our economy.
It's our agriculture.
It's our quality of life.
It's our human dignity.
But more than anything else, it's what has made America so powerful because God has blessed us with hundreds of years, hundreds of years of oil, gas, coal.
It allows us to live in freedom and prosperity.
And if we just could bring it to the surface, Life would be more prosperous, more abundant, more affordable.
So energy is absolutely everything, and it's why energy is always under attack.
You know that ancient, I say ancient book, it's an old, old book, Acres of Diamonds, And it's about this guy who goes all over the world looking for treasure and turns out he's living on top of acres of diamonds.
It's sort of like our energy.
You know, we will import it from Venezuela and Russia and all over the world, Saudi Arabia.
But the truth is, we not only have enough to take care of ourselves, as you said for several hundred years, we could be exporting energy and enriching America and its energy producers for decades.
Absolutely.
And transforming our own economy doing it.
Why aren't we doing that?
We could, and we were doing it for a little tiny window in 2017-18, pre-COVID under the Trump administration, and we could absolutely return to that.
But look at what the policies of this administration has done just in terms of our own economy, right?
Everyone wonders, why are eggs so expensive?
Why is meat so expensive?
Utility bills.
Well, energy is everything, as I already said.
Anything in the world is manufactured with, transported by, grown with.
Energy.
I have a sheep farm in addition to this job, so in rural Virginia, so other farmers know.
What does hay cost?
I used to pay $7 a bale.
I'm now paying $11.50 a bale.
Why did it go up so much?
Well, those prices I have to add on to the sale of sheep, and that's what you see in the back end of the grocery store.
It all has to come down to energy, because the very farmer who planted the hay and irrigated it and harvested it and swept it and baled it has to pay gas bills, has to pay employees, etc.
So if energy is cheap, life is cheaper.
And we used to have cheap life in America.
We used to have cheap gas, cheap food.
And we don't have that anymore.
And that's ultimately what this election has to come down to.
Why is life so darn expensive right now?
It's because energy is expensive.
Get energy under control and the country's economy changes almost immediately.
Well, I hear the Democrats say, and Joe Biden has said, hey, we're pumping more oil than we ever have.
So if that's the case, how come we're not seeing lower gas prices and lower food costs?
Because they almost have said, we're doing better than anyone has ever done ever.
We're the energy administration.
What's wrong with that claim?
Our oil production numbers are good, there's no doubt about it, but oil prices are not just about production, they're also speculative.
So the markets are looking into the future saying this is not going to be sustained.
If we were producing the same amount of oil in the same conditions that the Trump administration gave us, Oil would be $55 a barrel like it was in the Trump years.
But I think it's $72 today is where I saw it.
It's been around $80 for a while.
Well, that's $30 more expensive per barrel for years.
Why?
Because the industry sees, ah, this is not going to continue.
They see the punishment coming out of the Biden administration, the land restriction, et cetera, et cetera.
Markets are smart, and you can't really lie to them too, too much.
So you can tap into the reserves, you can import oil from Saudi Arabia, but none of that has lowered prices to where just a robust energy supportive environment would bring us, and that was what we had previously.
You mentioned security, and we're almost out of time, but I can't let you go without mentioning that one of the reasons that Iran was able to finance Hezbollah and Hamas, murdered Jews on October 7th of last year is because they had the money that they got because we took the grips off of their energy industry and that enriched them and they used it to kill people.
If we were using our own energy and told them to take a hike It's just a reality.
Daniel, the world would be a safer place.
Absolutely.
When we had a full, robust energy and economy, as we did under President Trump, we produced more oil for the greater number of people at a lower price point.
We had more jobs, more revenue.
We lowered emissions.
If you want to play the emissions game, I think that's all bogus, but we'll play it.
We lowered emissions more than any other country in the world, and we also starved our enemies.
Russia didn't have a lot of money because a $55 barrel of oil isn't good for them.
Iran didn't have any money because they were only able to produce around 300,000 barrels a day because of our sanctions.
So our enemies were poor, and when our enemies are poor, the world is at peace.
And you know what we didn't have also, which we hear about all the time?
Price gouging, corporate greed, all of these things.
Where was the corporate greed that they just found out now they could be greedy?
So all of these things have come as a result of bad energy policies.
It's reversible, and I'm praying we're successful in November because we need to reverse it for our country to survive and for world peace.
And for every family in America, it's the right thing.
Energy really may be the most important issue facing America, and there's a lot of deliberate misinformation about it.
That's why we wanted Daniel to be here.
