Time Text
Alright, so speaking of higher learning, speaking of the university system, this post came across my feed on Facebook from an account named Topher.
No, not Topher Grace.
This is a different kind of Topher.
This is the bad Topher.
I'll explain in just a second.
Facebook word art, red background, siren emoji.
Breaking!
Wage garnishment will renew next month to repay defaulted student loans.
And this has 13.9 thousand likes and loves.
It's just like, I don't know.
This isn't the worst thing that Trump has done.
He's killed people.
That, I think, counts as worse.
But it's just like new ways to be just utterly depraved.
Like new ways to celebrate and revel in evil.
Like you're celebrating wage garnishment.
Hey, now picture, I know you think like, oh, a social studies major.
Having to pay back their student loans with 200% interest or whatever gets you all fired up, gets your jollies all riled.
Now imagine that was a father who only hit his wife one time.
Yeah.
Yeah, think about that.
It's so...
There's shit in the Bible against this.
I don't...
I don't know how you get to be this bad of a person to celebrate wage garnishment for students in this country.
You have to be so...
Listen, I have my critiques of the American school system and the university system.
In all, just at its most basic concept, education is good.
Yes.
Learning is good.
The education system in this country would have to be so much worse for me to be like, I just destroy it all.
You would have to be going in there in a Nazi uniform.
They would have to be doing Hitler Youth.
You know, vows to blood and soil in front of the whole class for me to be like, okay, yeah, this is bad.
It's also funny, too, because it's endorsing, like, does it get much more big government than garnishing your wages?
That's a really good point.
Then removing you from the process and you just getting a smaller check because you owe some bank money?
Like, why are you okay with that idea?
That's fucked.
So I was like, who the fuck is Topher?
So I went to his profile.
He's got 1.9 million followers on Facebook.
Christopher Townsend, known professionally as Topher.
That's not a very professional name.
I'll just say that.
Is an American rapper, veteran, influencer, and TPUSA contributor.
All these fucking roads lead back to TPUSA.
It's like...
I don't know if there's ever been an organization that is publicly and I would say objectively more of a joke while still being so influential and popular.
Now, are they popular with their actual target demographic, which is college students?
I would say no, probably not, if their leading influencer is gloating about how said college students are going to have their wages garnished for the rest of their life to pay back a fucking insane loan, insane usury on an education that there's not even a job for anymore.
Yep.
No, the average person consuming this is going to their grandchild's college graduation.
Yeah, the average person consuming this hasn't been allowed to talk to their grandchild because they called them a slut for being in a co-ed dorm or something.
Yeah, yeah.
Their daughter did not invite them to the graduation.
Here's another post from Topher.
I used to think negatively when someone followed me around in a store.
Now I welcome it.
It's like a free personal assistant on the house.
Hashtag zero victim.
I guess we didn't say Topher was black.
We said TPUSA rapper, but that doesn't necessarily mean black.
Topher is black.
And so he's talking about getting followed around the store.
That's actually hashtag winning because now I have a personal assistant.
And I don't look at this shit the way victim mindset would have you look at it, which is, hey, it's bad to assume that I'm a criminal and to treat me like such when I'm just trying to buy something from you and give you money.
That's victim mindset, actually, Tony.
Do you think Topher is over here being like, hey, where is the toothpaste?
Do you think he's asking the person following him?
Is he actually getting help from them?
Because I didn't want to go down the easy route that this takes us when we see these black conservative grifters being like, man, it sucks that you're just like...
Your self-hatred is so crazy.
But to say something like this so out loud...
Listen, I experience racism, and I'm okay with it.
I think of it as a personal assistant.
It's like, fuck you, man.
You're clearly not doing this.
You're clearly doing this to be accepted by your white constituents.
It's crazy.
Yeah, whenever I get pulled over for driving while black, I just ask the cop for directions.
And then he shoots me five times in the head.
Yeah.
It turns out life is easier.
If you just pay the ticket, you don't argue it at all.
You don't advocate for your own rights.
You just go along with it.
Because honestly, maybe I needed that beating.
Maybe I needed to be tased.
Have you thought about the fact that maybe I needed to be tased?
