Well, this is interesting.
According to the Wall Street Journal, the Pentagon is approaching automakers like Ford and GM and asking them to basically shift to a wartime economy of manufacturing weapons instead of cars.
Oh, man.
Why are we not surprised?
Well, number one, their cars suck.
But that doesn't mean the weapons will be any better.
Right now, U.S. weapons also suck.
The anti air interceptors, for example, that power the Iron Dome.
As it's called, barely work, according to I think it's MIT engineer Ted Postle.
He says that the interception rate is closer to 5% for these, you know, Patriot battery interceptors.
So they don't work very well at all.
And they certainly won't work any better than a Ford truck, which barely works because Ford sucks, like I said earlier.
But nevertheless, this request by the Pentagon is a major indication that they are gearing up for a multi year.
Global war clearly against China.
Clearly against China, which will be a huge mistake.
And you know this because, of course, what Trump has been doing, he attacked Venezuela, took over Venezuelan oil because Venezuela was exporting oil to China.
That's right.
And now Trump closing the Strait of Hormuz, that is, closing it again after Iran closed it, but this time closing it to Iranian ports and China bound tankers.
This was also designed to cut off China from oil.
Which is the same thing that the United States did to Japan in World War II.
I think it was around, yeah, like 1941 or so, there was a U.S. naval embargo to cut off Japan from all energy imports.
And it was from that that Japan was kind of led into the Pearl Harbor attack, which was in essence an engineered event in order to convince Americans to say yes to an expansion of the war in the Pacific.
So, With that history aside, it's being repeated.
And the effort is to try to blockade China from energy and then cripple China, collapse China's economy, which is what Scott Besant admitted they tried to do to Iran, and then try to militarily defeat and conquer China, which is the dumbest idea ever.
It's not going to work.
I mean, I don't know what they're smoking at the White House other than maybe crack all day, but this is the dumbest idea ever.
For so many reasons, I mean, I'll mention a few of them.
Obviously, China has 200 times more naval ship dockyard construction capacity than the United States right now.
That's right, the U.S. has 0.5% of the dockyard capacity of China.
Those are equivalent statements, by the way.
Those two statements I just said.
Secondly, China is the world leader in drone technology, as well as robotics technology, as well as manufacturing technology, including manufacturing.
Missiles and hypersonic missiles.
They have these new hypersonic missiles that can be made for only $100,000 each.
So China can mass produce where the U.S. can barely produce.
China can mass produce at an economic scale that we can't even imagine in the West.
We will spend three or four million dollars per interceptor while China will spend only 100k per hypersonic missile or maybe 20k per drone.
So, the economies of scale are totally different.
And then, of course, China is a very large country.
It's got the largest GDP in the world by far, far higher than the United States.
And it has, well, it's arguably the highest population in the world, although some people would say maybe that's India now, but it's around 1.4 billion people.
So, it's more than five times larger than the United States in terms of population.
In addition, China has far more engineers and You know, scientists and mathematicians and robotics experts and AI experts and manufacturing and industry experts and mechanical engineers and aerospace engineers, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.
There's just no competition.
So, this effort to try to, you know, conquer China and defeat China so that the U.S. can remain in its hegemonic position to dominate the world, this is a fairy tale.
And by the way, China doesn't get all its energy from the Persian Gulf anyway.
Yeah, it gets some significant portion from the Persian Gulf, but number one, China has.
Massive stockpile supplies of oil and other things.
Secondly, China is allied with many other countries, including Russia.
And Russia has already said on the record that they will assist China with whatever energy needs it has, whether it's oil or gas or something else.
China can also get oil from other countries, including, you know, Brazil, let's say.
And there are still ways for Iran to export oil, even in the middle of this blockade.
And by the way, does the U.S. really want to go to war with China?
In the Arabian Sea?
Do they want to have a naval battle with China?
Because China can sink every U.S. aircraft carrier, every carrier.
There are only, what, 12 of them, I think, maybe?
China can sink them all in less than 30 minutes just by pressing a button, and all the aircraft carriers are gone.
And China can destroy all the cruisers and the destroyers and all the other ships that the U.S. Navy has.
Not that China wants to do that.
They wouldn't be looking to do that.
But if the U.S. Tries to provoke a naval war with China, it's going to be the end of the U.S. Navy.
That's very clear.
So, you know, you're messing with the wrong country.
You're messing with, as America was the manufacturing and industrial hub of the world in the 1940s and 1950s, China has that role today in the 2020s.
China is the manufacturing hub of the world.
On top of that, China has the rare earths that are necessary for manufacturing a lot of military equipment, such as Radar arrays, you know, you need gallium for that.
And that's one of the rare earths that China has a near global monopoly on.
And they are already restricting many rare earths from the United States, but there are more restrictions that they could put in place as well.
So, back to the story.
The Wall Street Journal said that Ford Motor and General Motors are engaged in wide ranging talks because the Trump administration wants automakers to play a larger role in weapons production.
Well, that sounds like desperation to me because what they're saying is that the military industrial complex in America can't produce the weapons that Trump wants and that we're running out.
We're running out.
We're running out of missiles and bombs and anti air defense systems and everything else.
In fact, gosh, the military is all but depleted at this point after years of war with Russia via the proxy state of Ukraine, combined with now, you know, weeks of bombing Iran, very heavy bombardment, by the way, and also handing over a lot of weapons to Israel so that it could carry out genocide against the Palestinians by bombing all their hospitals and residential buildings and universities as well.
So the U.S. has used up a lot of its munitions and it's left with.
Almost nothing.
That's my opinion.
That's not in the story.
But in the story, a Pentagon official told Reuters in a statement that the Defense Department is, quote, committed to rapidly expanding the defense industrial base by leveraging all available commercial solutions.
That means ordering car companies to make weapons and technologies to ensure our warfighters maintain a decisive advantage.
And Trump has now requested a Massive $500 billion increase in the military budget to bring it to officially $1.5 trillion annually.
That's insane.
That's larger than I think the next 20 countries combined or something close to that.
So, what about the current munitions manufacturers?
Aren't they already paid enough money?
Shouldn't they be making weapons?
Nope.
They hardly make anything.
The quantities that they churn out are ridiculously.
Low, especially compared to China, which has massive automation of everything, including munitions and missiles and everything else.
So here we are.
The fact that the Trump administration is talking to the car companies to say, basically, you need to switch over to wartime manufacturing.
This is what happened in World War II when the car companies were switched over to become Sherman tank factories or something.
Maybe it wasn't the Shermans.
I don't know what it was.
Were the Sherman tanks made in the UK?
I don't know.
But whatever the tanks were, there were plenty of tanks made in the US.
And then, you know, bullets, munitions, uniforms, boots, everything else, right?
That was back in the day when Americans knew how to use their hands for something other than texting and liking on social media.
That was back in the day when people could run machines without getting their arms chewed up in those machines because people had sense back then.
People were handy.
They knew how to do things.
You know, they could, they could cook.
You know, the women especially had all the home skills that were typical among women, sewing and knitting and cooking and canning and preserving and raising children and everything.
Um, I mean, Women had to have a lot of skills to run the household back then.
And even the men, they knew how to do things.
They knew how to, you know, change tires on their car, build a picket fence, you know, repair things, swing a hammer, whatever it took.
Men were handy too.
Today, that's just not the case.
With some exceptions, obviously.
People like you and I, we live out in the country.
We know how to do stuff.
Yeah, sure.
We know how to do lots of things.
We're kind of like the World War II generation in terms of our.
Skills and, you know, handyman type of skills.
I don't know about you, but I can do all kinds of stuff from plumbing to, you know, electrician work to swapping out parts on diesel engines or whatever it takes.
But again, that's rare.
That's rare.
So even if you say to Ford something like, oh, well, we want you to convert your Ford factory, stop making the Ford F 150 Lightning electric pickup truck that totally sucks, which actually they already stopped making it, but we want you to make.
Tanks now.
What kind of tanks?
Electric tanks that also suck.
Oh, we can do that.
We'll just put a fiberglass shell on top of the F-150.
We'll call it a tank.
No, but my point is that retooling these auto manufacturing assembly lines, retooling them to build things like tanks and artillery and munitions and, I don't know, fighter jets or whatever, That's not a small thing.
And I don't think that it's possible, frankly.
I don't think it's possible in America.
I don't think we have the know how.
We don't have the supply chains.
We don't have the labor.
We don't have people who know how to do things.
Have you ever seen old videos of Americans building, let's say, the Hoover Dam?
That was impressive.
The old black and white films, you know, generations ago, building the Hoover Dam, those were dudes that knew how to do stuff.
And you didn't have, you know, obese men building the Hoover Dam.
They were thin, scrawny little dudes who could climb.
They could climb ropes and rock walls and things, and they could carry things like buckets of concrete.
You know, they were capable of doing stuff.
Today, we don't have that.
We got.
You know too much.
Burger KING.
Everybody's dumbed down.
Everybody doesn't know how to you know work a machine anymore.
They don't know how to do math, they don't.
They don't have skills that are real world practical skills anymore not in America, in fact.
The only people that have those skills are the migrants.
Basically, I mean seriously, you know the illegals that cross the border.
They come from wherever Mexico Venezuela, whatever they've got skills.
I I used to live in South America even the impoverished people there, they knew how to do stuff.
I learned a lot of things.
I learned a lot actually, from watching how they would repair things without proper repair tools.
I even showed you a video a couple years ago about how to repair like a hose, a broken hose, or how to make a connector between hoses using just bailing wire and a nail.
And where did I learn that?
I learned that in Ecuador from watching the locals there because they don't have all these, you know, proper couplers and Cordless power tools to do everything that they have, bailing wire and some nails.

And so they figured out how to make how to repair things.
And that's been very handy for me on the ranch, too, by the way.
But again, typical Americans don't have those skills.
So if you try to do this, if you try to switch over Ford to making tanks, it's going to be death trap tanks.
They're going to be the worst tanks possible.
They're going to be tanks where nothing works because that's.
The way Ford is, you know, I mean, in my opinion or in my experience, you have a Ford, you have a problem.
That's why Ford stands for, you know, found on road dead, F O R D. Nothing works in a Ford.
They have no quality control.
Same thing with GM, in my opinion, they have no quality control.
They don't know the Toyota way.
You know, the Toyota way, tracking quality and suppliers and, you know, testing the alloys of every machined part that you get from a third party supplier, making sure everything works on time, just in time, delivered on time, and then tested, tested, tested, ergonomically tested, mechanically tested, you name it.
That's Toyota.
That's why when you buy a Toyota, you know it's going to last.
You can count on a Toyota.
You buy a Ford, you're like, oh man, when's this thing going to break?
Probably in three months it's going to break.
Something's going to break.
And then you take it back for repairs, they don't know what they're doing.
I've had this experience myself like numerous times.
It's like, oh my God, they can't even fix anything.
And then they'll tell you they fixed it and they didn't fix it.
And I had made in America one of these diesel engines in my truck.
I told you about this.
This happens to not be, it's not a Ford diesel engine, just to be clear.
The diesel engine, one day, just all the oil just spurts out of the engine.
It just unloads all its oil.
And it was only, I think, a year old.
And what the hell?
Where'd all the oil go?
So I had to drive it to the dealer.
I poured oil into it.
to drive it to the dealer, leaking oil the whole way.
But I kept pouring enough.
I know, Grant, I was just like throwing oil all over the road to do this.
But I poured enough oil into it to get it to a dealer for repair.
And they said ultimately after they had to take off the entire front end, they had to dismantle this.
It took like two days just to take all the parts off.
And they found that there was one little plug, just a little screw plug on the front of the engine that at the manufacturing plant, they forgot to put Loctite on the threads.
which is which costs like pennies, you know, they forgot to put Loctite on it.
And so as I was driving and the engine vibrated and then the the the screw comes out and boom, then all the oil comes out.
So they covered that cost, by the way.
And I forgot what they said it was.
It was either like Was it like a $8,000 repair or something like that?
But the the manufacturer covered that because it was their fault because they have no quality control.
They have no quality control And I found this with also farm equipment.
So I think I told this story before too, John Deere.
So, one of the things that I have is a compact track loader from John Deere.
Very handy piece of equipment with only 75 hours on it.
Okay.
Considered basically brand new.
75 hours on this, the entire axle, the primary gear, it's not an axle.
Sorry.
It's a, what do they call it?
The main gear that drives the track on one side.
That entire thing, this giant sprocket, it's, I don't know what it is, like 18 inches in diameter.
It's got like 24 bolts on it to keep it in place.
That whole thing just broke.
Broke off in 75 hours as I was just moving it.
I was just driving along.
I didn't even have a load on it.
And John Deere, you know, they also had to send out a repair person, and it cost them thousands of dollars to replace this thing because it also broke all the hydraulic hoses and connections and everything.
It also spilled hydraulics all over my ground, which was not cool, but hey, I made up for it by slinging oil all over the public streets with.
With the other diesel engine.
But they came out and repaired it.
And I asked the repair guy, like, dude, what's the deal?
What happened?
He said, oh, well, based on his diagnosis, it looks like at the factory, they forgot to tighten the 24 bolts.
Like, holy crap, this is the same problem that my other diesel engine had.
They forgot to put Loctite on the threads.
So in America, oh, and by the way, so John Deere had to cover all that cost, which to their credit, they did.
They, And it's been fine ever since because we tightened the freaking bolts this time, you know.
But my point is, see, if you build tanks, if you have John Deere build tanks, the tracks will fall off.
Tracks will fall off because nobody will tighten the freaking bolts on all the sprockets that drive the tank tracks.
You know, the barrel won't work right.
It'll be all crooked or whatever.
Like the turret won't even swivel.
It'll get stuck halfway, you know, because we forgot to install the bearings or something because there's no quality control in manufacturing in America.
I mean, I should say in these major companies of construction equipment and cars and trucks and what it's all a freaking clown show.
It's a total joke.
And you're like, well, why did you buy this?
Well, I have a very specific reason why I bought this one because it's the only one that has the size that I needed to do to run the implements and the job that I need.
It's got the horsepower that I needed.
Believe me, I would have much rather bought a Kubota because if you want something that works, you're going to buy something made in.
Japan, Japan, people.
That's where stuff works and increasingly China, but we can't get stuff from China like vehicles because it's all banned by our government.
Fortunately, we can still get equipment from Japan or even Korea.
I would much rather have a Kubota tractor or a Kubota excavator or even a Korean like a coyote tractor or something rather than an American made tractor, loader, you know, skid steer, forklift, truck, car.
If it's made in America, Shit's going to break on it really soon.
Trust me, I've been down that road far too many times.
I mean, you know, Komatsu is another quality brand out of Japan.
There's a bunch.
If you want stuff that works, you get it engineered in Japan.
Or, you know, South Korea makes some good quality stuff too when it comes to equipment as well.
But Japan is the place to go.
So good luck converting Ford to making tanks.
Good luck.
You're going to take John Deere and have them make, I don't know, like APCs, armored personnel carriers.

And what are you going to do out on the battlefield?

Why do you think, when I was trying to buy this automation equipment for my warehouse, I was trying to buy it from which country?

I was trying to buy it from Italy because in Italy, they still know how to make quality stuff because they're still artisans in Italy.
You know, Italians still take pride in their work.
Americans are just like, how can I get disability and not have to work?
You know, give me a break.
I'm serious.

I'm not, you know, if you feel insulted by this, I'm just telling you the way it is.
Telling you the way it is.
There's no quality in America.
I mean, with a few exceptions, you know, there are exceptions like, of course, My friends over at Dawson Knives, yeah, there's a small family run company that makes the best knives and swords and edge weapons in the world by far, in my opinion.
I mean, it's amazing, but they can't mass manufacture that stuff for a million consumers because it's all hand ground blades.
So when it comes to assembly lines and factories and everything in America, we don't have any quality.

Can't make it work on an aircraft carrier that costs $15 billion.
Gonna have to have probably a $2 billion toilet repair that'll take 15 months or something like that.
That's manufacturing in America.
Everything falls apart, everything falls out of the sky.
It's funny because even the Pentagon just admits that, like all the planes that Iran shot down during this war, the Pentagon says, no, no, the.
They just fell out of the sky.
They just crashed on their own.
It's like you realize what you're saying is that we can't even build planes that fly, right?
That's what you're saying.
Apparently, that's preferable to admitting that they got shot down.
So, according to the Pentagon, everything that we fly just falls out of the sky for some unknown reason.
Go figure, huh?
But the bottom line in all of this is that clearly the Pentagon and Trump are gearing up for a massive land invasion.
Colonel McGregor just said recently he posted that the U.S. is going to deploy.
10,000 additional troops to the Middle East.
On top of that, the USS George Bush carrier group is being deployed.
They're going to join about 50,000 personnel that are already in the region.
And it looks like there's going to be an operation to land on some coastal areas, maybe the Karg Island, probably a mass bombing campaign coming.
So there's going to be this desperate effort to try to hit Iran hard one more time and try to cut off China from all energy and then somehow.
Go to war with China, I guess, in the next couple of years somehow.
But that won't work at all.
You know, with Ford technology, you know, the Ford tank, it's like, doesn't even work.
You know, everything falls apart.
They probably put blinkers on it and the blinkers wouldn't even work because all the relays are broken.
You know, like John Deere armored personnel carriers, you know, like when you really want to commit suicide.
For the military, or when you want to bleed and die for Israel, basically, hop in a John Deere armored personnel carrier.
Your trip to heaven will be very short, you know.
I'm sorry to say that that's what this is.
It's a joke, it's a total joke.
So we can't make, we don't have hypersonic missiles.
We can't make anything for the military that actually functions correctly.
I mean, it's, and so we're just treated to endless gaslighting about how we're winning.
And Trump stated that we're winning like 35 times.
Well, if we've already won, as he said, and if we've already decimated Iran, what are we still doing there?
Why don't you just leave if you've already won?
But we haven't won, obviously, because our stuff doesn't work.
It's so pathetic.
So pathetic.
And you can't print your way to military technology.
And you can't just immediately convert everything over to wartime production.
But they'll try.
They'll try.
So, look, bottom line, I'm going to wrap this up.
Bottom line is they're going to print trillions of dollars.
They're going to print like mad.
That means gold and silver are going to skyrocket as they print all this currency.
They're going to print like mad.
They're going to take us to World War III.
They're going to use it to probably shut down elections and shut down freedom of the press.
Shut down free speech, et cetera.
And then they're going to do a financial reset.
They're going to take everybody's savings and have bank bail ins and have a financial collapse that they blame on somebody else and then roll out a new currency system, a new CBDC, and then tell you that you got to sign up for it with your biometrics and your iris pattern and your thumbprint or whatever, all your biometrics.
And then they're going to use that to enslave you and control you until they can replace you with the robots.
And that's how they're going to do it.
World War III, engineered famine, global engineered poverty through a global reset, mass confiscation of all your assets while pretending to be winning.
