How to survive the first 180 days after the DOLLAR COLLAPSE

I was recently interviewed by Ann VanderSteel for part of a documentary series that she's producing for Brighteon TV. And one of the questions that she asked me was about what will be necessary for people to survive the post-collapse scenario that will unfold across America as the dollar collapses and the banking system fails.
And I want to share some of the highlights of that answer with you here, but also encourage you to watch her documentary series.
It will also be featured on Brighton University coming up, so I'll give you details about that in the days ahead.
But one of the things I said was that the first wave following the collapse...
Well, let's back up to Zero Day here.
So Collapse Day is the day when the U.S. defaults on its obligations one way or another Either in that we can't pay you dollars any longer or that the dollars we pay you aren't worth anything.
And that latter case is probably the most likely.
The U.S. will probably always be willing to give you something If you're a treasury debt holder, for example, or if you're a pensioner on the federal government's pension plan, they'll give you something.
It just won't be worth anything.
So there's going to be an effective default, or you could say a default in reality.
Even if it's not technically halting of payments.
But the dollars won't be worth anything.
And when that day comes, you're going to see, for several months, you're going to see what I call the zombie wave panic.
So you'll see anarchy in the streets, mass chaos unfolding, no question about that.
You will also see a mass exodus out of the cities of desperate people who did not prepare and who are looking for food.
Because, see, when the power grid goes down and the banks go down, well, the cities become unsurvivable.
So you can either stay and die or you can leave and maybe have a chance to live.
So a lot of these people are going to spread out from the cities.
We'll have a mass exodus out of the cities, American refugees in America.
Who are spreading out into the more rural counties.
Places that are very feared by the city dwellers, by the way.
They're afraid of the forest.
They're afraid of rural America.
They're afraid of nature.
They're afraid of the outdoors.
Because they live in their artificial concrete jungles and their thought bubbles, which are the cities.
So they're going to be all freaked out.
And they're going to be desperate.
And there's nothing they won't do to feed their children.
They will attempt to rob, to loot, steal.
There won't be any rule of law for a while.
There won't be any ethics on the part of these people.
They will do anything and everything necessary to try to survive.
So if you're in America when that happens, the first thing you'll have to survive is that wave.
I call it the zombie wave.
You know, it's a little bit insulting.
To the zombies.
Well, that's the people who did not prepare and who have turned into animalistic, well, zombies, as I say.
So you've got to survive that.
Now, how is that going to happen?
Well, it's going to be a quagmire, a lot of different situations.
Some people will be living in small towns where there's strong local law enforcement.
There will be security, and they won't have much of a problem.
Other people will be on their own.
Some people will have to use their own firearms or their own neighborhood with firearms, their own family members.
You're going to have to defend your own property.
And this is going to last several months.
It could be as short as 90 days.
It could be more like 6 months, maybe 9 months.
It's not exactly clear.
Because, well, the zombies will find something to eat along the way.
But during this time, the zombies will be starving to death and they'll be killing each other.
So you're going to have a very rapid die-off.
And importantly, remember what happens as starvation kicks in.
People lose the ability to function.
So at first, when they're just really, really hungry, like I haven't eaten for 48 hours, well, yeah, they're going to be desperate, they're going to be lawless, but they're still going to have their muscle mass, they're still going to have functioning brains, they're still going to be capable of being on their feet and being mobile and so on.
Those abilities will deteriorate quite rapidly.
And let's say six weeks into this, let's say 45 days or so, you're going to find that Most of these people are no longer very active.
They don't move well.
They don't think well.
This is where the zombie term comes from because they deteriorate into zombies over time.
And as this happens, they lose their ability to defend themselves.
They lose their ability to attack you effectively as well.
And this is when the die-off really kicks in.
So for several months, you're going to have a mass die-off across America from starvation, lack of sanitation, i.e.
sewage diseases and cholera, things like that.
And then also, you're going to have a lot of people dying from fighting and just being shot or stabbed or these kinds of things.
Step one is to survive that wave.
Make it through with yourself, your property, your family intact, hopefully your community intact, and hold on to your supplies of gold and silver and ammo and emergency food, emergency medicine, all these kinds of things.
At some point, there's going to be a transition into how do we rebuild the core functions of a local community.
One of those core functions is trade or commerce.
You have to have the restoration of commerce in order to have a functioning society.
It's critical that people be able to trade with each other.
Because one person might be an expert in raising cows.
Another person is a butcher.
Another person knows how to sew clothes.
You know, another person is a car mechanic.
Whatever.
You get the idea.
Everybody's a specialist.
And one person saves garden seeds.
You know, another person raises rabbits and has rabbit kebab meat or something, right?
Whatever it is.
In order to have commerce function, you have to have safe travel.
So that means you have to have the projection of police force across the county or town or whatever it is in order to stop the raiders from raiding people on the roads.
You can't just have lawlessness on the roads with a bunch of pirates and carjackers.
So you're going to have to push law enforcement and actually project power for the rule of law.
So this will happen in some communities very quickly.
And you'll have strong local law enforcement that's supported by community members.
They'll have guns and ammo and body armor and food and everything they need.
And then when the roads are safe to travel...
And the zombies aren't allowed to come into town and eat everybody.
Then you'll have commerce restored and you'll see local trading posts set up, basically.
It could be a couple times a week, like Wednesdays and Saturdays, or maybe every day, depending on the town.
And it'll be a place where people bring stuff to buy, sell, and trade.
And that's where you'll go also because you need AA batteries and, you know, Amazon doesn't work any longer.
Credit cards don't work.
The dollar doesn't work.
Or you need an oil filter for this engine or you need tires for your car or whatever you need.
You need iodine because there's a nuclear war, you know?
I mean, you can imagine.
You need bandages.
You need hydrogen peroxide.
So you're going to go and you're going to bring something to trade.
And if you don't have anything to trade, well, you're going to bring gold or silver or ammo or something along those lines.
So when commerce is restored, then you're going to start to have stable society.
Then people can get back on their feet.
They can get the goods they need to survive.
Now, I'm not saying life is going to be easy.
It won't.
The power grid may not be functioning at all.
Especially a lot of towns in this kind of scenario.
So goodbye air conditioning, goodbye heating, goodbye municipal water supply.
You're going to spend a lot of your time actually gathering water and filtering water, gathering food, prepping food, storing food, drying food, pickling food, canning food.
You're going to be consumed with just the basics, by the way.
And that's going to be true across the whole population.
But as soon as you can re-establish trade, then things become survivable.
Then you can kind of make it back on your feet.
And then the community can start to focus on, well, how do we rebuild a rule of law here, given that this is a collapsed society, and sort of what's happening at the state level if your state still exists, or maybe it was a state and now it's a new republic, like the Republic of Texas, right?
But whatever the situation may be, there's going to be an attempt to reestablish the rule of law.
You're going to find the justice system will become very...
There will be accelerated justice.
Nobody's got time for a bunch of legal appeals for carjackers, child traffickers, and looters.
In some towns, all those people will be shot on sight.
In other towns, they'll have a trial that lasts about five minutes, and then they'll be just executed.
There just won't be any time to put up with the criminal element.
And that's a good thing.
If anybody's caught trafficking children in the post-collapse scenario, if they are shot on site, if it's absolutely certain that they are trafficking children, if it's beyond any doubt, well, hey, that's the way it's going to be.
Same thing with thieves and looters and rapists and carjackers and so on.
So there's going to be a lot of instant justice, which isn't always accurate, by the way.
So be careful with that.
Due process is really important.
And over time, due process will be reestablished.
But at first, what I'm saying is there won't be any due process at all.
It'll just be like instant justice.
And the local sheriff may deputize a lot of people to aid in the instant justice that will be dished out just to reestablish the rule of law, depending on how bad the crime is.
All right.
In any case, then, At some point, you're going to have to all worry about a money supply.
What's the new currency?
Is it going to be a gold-backed cryptocurrency?
Does the internet even work?
Does electricity function?
If there's no electricity, you can't have crypto.
So what would you use instead?
Will the new state or new country, will it issue a currency?
Will the currency be backed by gold or silver?
How do we know that they can't counterfeit the currency?
Because that's what led us to all the problems we have right now, is massive currency counterfeiting.
And none of us want a repeat of that scenario.
So how do we re-establish a system that's also based on honest money?
And then from there, how do we re-establish energy infrastructure?
This will be a really key point.
Without energy infrastructure, you can't really function.
You need diesel fuel.
You need diesel for transportation, even for law enforcement.
You need diesel to run tractors for food production.
You're going to need energy, and you're going to need a power grid.
So that's going to be a very high priority, getting all that back online.
And then doing so in a way that honors the original vision of the Founding Fathers of the United States of America.
We need a constitution in place.
Even if you're part of a brand new state, that state needs a constitution.
And there are some pretty obvious improvements that need to be made to every new constitution from this point forward, such as, well, not allowing members of Congress to serve forever.
It needs to be built in term limits.
You get one term, maybe two, and then you're done.
That's it.
Term limits.
You gotta have small government built into the Constitution, no debt spending.
The government pays its own way, and if it can't, well, then it has to shrink itself in order to fit within its own budget.
No money printing, no looting of the treasury, none of that.
No foreign aid.
Yeah, no sending a trillion dollars to Ukraine.
None of that garbage.
Anyway, you can go down the list, reaffirming the right of medical choice, for example.
No government should ever be able to force you to take a vaccine against your will, or to force you into a lockdown against your will.
Things like that.
You'll need to reaffirm the Second Amendment, reaffirm the First Amendment.
No government censorship, which is already the First Amendment, but government's bypassing it by using corporations and overseas groups as proxies to carry out censorship.
So anyway, there's going to be a lot of interesting debate about how we form a new system of government and a new system of money.
And maybe centralized government isn't the best structure at all.
Maybe there shouldn't be a rebuilt government.
Maybe it should be just people interacting with each other on a volunteer basis.
You know, volunteerism, or what's sometimes called anarchy, but that's not really the right term.
Sometimes anarcho-capitalism, for example.
Maybe that's a much better system because it's based on voluntary interactions and doesn't rely on government coercion.
How about that?
And, of course, there'll be all kinds of questions about national defense and who's in charge of the nuclear weapons from the leftover United States of America.
Who gets the naval vessels?
What about these tanks?
You know, where do we get spare parts for these tanks?
These kinds of questions.
Who's going to keep the F-35s running?
Well, nobody.
They can barely run and fly today.
So, F-35s are toast.
But the bottom line is, You're going to see society completely inverted, and those who used to be wealthy will be the new poor, and many who used to be poor will be the new wealthy.
Seriously, you're going to have people who have hands-on capabilities, like welders and farmers and people who know how to make things, people who know how to run a lathe.
You know, people know all kinds of practical skills.
Well, they're going to be the new wealthy, the new leaders of society.
Well, all those people who have their special functions in, you know, financialization.
Like, I'm an expert in selling derivatives of derivatives of derivatives.
Like, you're obsolete, dude.
And all your paper profits just vanished, by the way.
Do you know how to bake cookies or something useful that could help society?
I mean, can you work a hoe?
I mean in the garden.
Yeah.
No, not your New York hedge fund hoes.
I'm talking about like hoes and rakes, okay?
Do you know how to do anything useful?
That's going to be the question of the day.
So society is going to change dramatically.
Those who have supplies of gold and silver will be incredibly wealthy in the new society world.
As the value of precious metals will absolutely skyrocket, those who don't have precious metals or don't have ammo, don't have land, don't have skills, they will become the impoverished, destitute masses who have nothing remaining.
So don't be one of those people, that's for sure.
