BBN, Nov 9, 2023 - US debt DOOM CYCLE tipping point shattered as annual interest exceeds $1 TRILLION
| Copy link to current segment

Time Text
Welcome to Bright Town Broadcast News for Thursday, November 9th, 2023.
Mike Adams here.
Thank you for joining me today.
And today is a kind of a cloudy, dark milestone in the history of the United States of America, or I should say the fall of the United States of America as today.
The interest on the debt now exceeds $1 trillion a year.
That's right.
The United States government will now spend $1 trillion just paying interest on the debt.
Wow.
We're going to get to that story in more detail.
I've got a video to show you first and also need to tell you that the nation of Yemen has shot down a Reaper drone, a U.S. military drone shot out of the sky by the nation of Yemen, which most people in America don't even think Yemen has missiles.
Well, turns out they do.
And there's surface to air missiles that are pretty darn effective in And, you know, the U.S., I mean, these Reapers are, what, two decades old, if not more?
Well, the U.S. is finding out that while our country was wasting time and, I don't know, dealing with George Floyd riots, the Arab nations were building some pretty effective high-tech stuff.
Including their own drones and their own missiles and their own nukes and their own hypersonics.
And, you know, it's crazy.
The U.S. State Department and the Pentagon and most American citizens, they still think this is 1991.
Desert storm.
They think they're fighting...
You know, unarmed goat herders wearing sandals and sporting wood stock AK-47s.
No, no.
This is a whole different era.
We're about to find out.
But let me play this video for you of what's actually been happening in America.
This is astonishing.
This video's been making the rounds the last day or two.
I was going to play it yesterday, but...
I decided to save it for you for today.
This is a woman walking to work in San Francisco in an area called the Tenderloin area.
I don't know why it's called Tenderloin, but watch what she sees.
It's about a two-minute video.
Again, she's just walking to work, and she's walking through the drug-infested streets of San Francisco with actual zombies.
I mean, fentanyl, You know, infected zombie creatures.
It's almost like a scene out of a John Wick movie or something.
It's crazy.
Check this out.
Alright, here we go.
The streets of San Francisco.
What is that creature on the left?
Oh my goodness.
Holy cow.
Look how trashed out everything is here.
And this is...
Oh my gosh, someone just passed out right there on the curb.
People slumped over in wheelchairs.
Was that dude doing drugs?
Someone had a wagon full of trash over there.
Is that person like crapping in their pants on the sidewalk?
What is that?
What's that yellow powder all over the street?
Oh my gosh.
Okay.
This is the bus lane, really?
Who's taking the bus?
I'd be taking the bus out of there.
That dude's overdosed.
Here's someone with a portable tent slumped over.
Oh, man.
Probably needles everywhere.
You have to dodge needles.
What was that guy's hairdo?
Trash everywhere.
Oh, my gosh.
Look, there's...
People just camped out.
There's, like, chairs.
There's furniture on the sidewalks.
And here's a parking-made person, like, writing parking tickets.
Are you kidding me?
What's going on with this person?
He's wearing half a shirt, man.
This is like a zombie movie, almost.
Like, bones and everything.
Oh, man, I feel sorry for these people.
Oh, this is horrific.
Oh, my God, that's some dude.
What's he doing there?
Trash everywhere.
Sweeping.
Yeah, I got to keep the place tidy.
Yeah, sweep those up.
Otherwise, it might look bad.
Oh, my God.
This is unreal.
This is what you've got to walk through on your way to work.
There's someone smoking.
Someone else slumped over.
These, like, fentanyl zombies, I think, is what's going on.
Yeah, we've got $100 billion plus for Ukraine, but look at America's cities.
Look at this collapse.
It's unreal.
Okay, that was frightening.
Oh man, I shouldn't be laughing.
This is what's happening in a lot of American cities.
There are similar scenes in Seattle and LA and St.
Louis and Chicago and even downtown Denver and certain parts of New York City.
America is in a state of collapse and we're just printing money?
You know, printing money to hand it out to Israel and Ukraine, I guess, and to the military industrial complex, got to pay the weapons companies.
So printing money, or printing currency, it's not really money, while our own nation is absolutely collapsing.
It's bad.
Let's actually talk about the $1 trillion a year in interest.
Now, Zero Hedge did an analysis of this, and you get to that number...
By taking the average interest rate on marketable U.S. Treasury debt and you multiply that by the $26.003 trillion in marketable U.S. debt and that comes out about $800 billion and you add the non-marketable debt interest.
Anyway, there's an equation and you get $1.027 trillion in interest payments that the United States government must make in order to service the debt.
This number, this $1 trillion is going to skyrocket.
Why?
Well, because a lot of U.S. debt was issued when interest rates were very, very low.
For example, the average interest rate being paid right now is only 3.096%.
That's going to go up and up and up.
That's going to go to 5%.
That's going to go to 7%.
Eventually, that's going to go to 10%.
I mean, if we even last that long.
And check this out.
From the article, there's a tweet.
It says total U.S. debt is now $33.6 trillion.
That's up $58 billion in one day.
I mean, think about that.
And that's up $600 billion in one month.
On average, it's up $20 billion every day, which is $833 million every hour.
$833 million an hour!
That's beyond insane.
I mean, this is obviously unsustainable.
This is obviously going to collapse.
And from the tweet, at this rate, U.S. debt will be $41 trillion in one year.
One year.
Okay, so, oh man.
So right now we're at $33 trillion.
In one year, it's going to be $41 trillion.
And that's if things don't get worse, which they will.
I bet we're at $41 trillion in less than a year.
And then we're probably at $50 trillion in debt, maybe six months later.
And then we're probably, if the system even lasts that long, you know, then we're at 60 trillion, maybe three months after that and so on.
It's just going to be a total blowout.
And this ends in a financial apocalypse.
The dollar collapses, the U.S. government collapses, the United States military collapses.
That's where this is going.
And it tells you, by the way, critically, why Russia is in no hurry.
To fight NATO, or why Arab nations are in no hurry to fight Israel.
Even though they talk big, Iran hasn't attacked, Turkey hasn't attacked, and Russia hasn't scaled up to a big attack on NATO. Why?
Why?
Because they all realize the same thing.
All they have to do is wait.
The United States of America implodes.
It's destroying itself.
And the easiest way to take down, let's say, you know, two aircraft carrier strike groups is to just wait for the United States to default on its debt, and that's not very far away.
Now, we've talked about this for many years, but a lot of people haven't really thought about the real implications of what it means for us.
What does it mean when your bank does not function?
Now, a lot of people are finding that out just in the last week.
Since last Friday, the ACH system has been broken for a lot of people.
You may have experienced this.
You may have experienced delays in deposits or just missing deposits or delays in auto withdrawals from your bank accounts.
It turns out that the Federal Reserve announced that a payment processing error at an ACH operator, that's an automated clearinghouse is what ACH stands for, Has been preventing deposits from reaching accounts.
There was an error in a file that obscured account and recipient information.
There was...
So wait a second.
Are you telling me...
This affected Bank of America, Chase, U.S. Bank, PNC... And many others, and downdetector.com was showing all of this stuff from last Friday, and some of it continued for several more business days.
But are you telling me that the United States banking system is so fragile that a, quote, error in a file can bring down the whole system?
Or at least some percentage of the system?
Like, oh, it just doesn't work.
ACH is broken.
Why?
Ah, there's an error in a file.
I mean, does this sound like something made up out of idiocracy?
You know, like, so why did...
You can see historians a year from now looking back.
So why did Western civilization collapse?
Oh, there was an error in a file.
Somebody, you know, put the wrong comma in the wrong place on the file, brought down the whole system.
And the historians are like, and that led to the starvation of 200 million people?
Yeah, there's another error in another file, you know, the food file.
I mean, we are so vulnerable at this point, it's insane.
If you still have all your assets in the banking system, you're crazy.
Seriously.
No, you probably don't.
I mean, if you've been listening to my podcast, you probably have assets outside of that system.
You might have gold or silver or land or ammo or who knows what, or crypto.
You can have all kinds of things.
All those things are safer than the banks, let me tell you.
I mean, this is proof of it.
And then even if the banks don't fail, Even though there was another bank failure recently.
Well, the dollar is going to fail because we're at a trillion dollars a year in interest on the debt.
How are they going to pay that?
They're not.
They're not even going to pretend to pay it.
They're just going to print and print and print until the whole system comes crashing down, which isn't very far away.
This is why they need World War III. They need to cover up the debt collapse.
This is why they tried to provoke Putin into a nuclear war.
And they failed, by the way.
They failed.
Now they're trying to provoke Iran into a nuclear war.
So far, it's not working, but, you know, of course, they're bombing women and children and committing atrocities to provoke Iran, you know, hopefully.
Let's get Iran, you know, to attack Israel, and then we can bomb Iran, and then Iran can bomb us, and then we can cover up all our financial crimes that we've been committing since 1971.
See, that's the actual plan.
Now you know why I designed a knife called Escape from L.A., Oh, you know what?
Yeah.
Today is the day that that knife is actually supposed to be for sale.
I've got a video demonstrating that knife, if you've never seen it.
It's pretty amazing.
I designed the features on this.
Let me play just a little snippet of this video so you can see what this knife looks like and what it does.
And you'll immediately see how it can be useful getting out of a collapsed city.
Seriously, especially given that it's made out of magna-cut alloy.
But check this out.
Alright, here it is.
This is the test session at Dawson Knives.
They're the manufacturers out of Arizona.
And there's the knife.
And hammered some nails into some wood here.
And notice the knife can pull nails out.
It's got a special feature right there.
And you can use the tip as a pry tool.
That feature that pulled the nail out, you see that there?
I call it a reverse bottle opener.
You can also break chains.
And you can pull cords and cables with it, and it can also pull barbed wire.
And the knife can even cut barbed wire, which you'll see here in just a second.
Notice how it's not breaking the knife.
I mean, it bends and it maintains its shape.
It's very resilient because of this extreme metal alloy called MagnaCut.
And the handle is made out of G10 wire.
So anyway, showing you lots of nails.
And there it is.
There's that special feature.
Notice how thick the knife is right there on that pry tip.
Now, check this out.
We're going to cut one of these fence nails.
Oh, that's coming up.
Watch this.
This is another way to pull nails out of things, but this is the technique for breaking chains and breaking things that hold that window locks and things for you to get out of a building if you're locked in, things like that.
Here we go.
Now we're going to cut this steel nail, this fence nail, with the knife.
Watch this.
Don't do this to your knife because it does...
A little bit of damage to the edge right there, but watch this.
You'll be amazed.
There you go.
It cuts right through it.
Whammo!
Yeah, there we go.
And the edge is still in pretty good shape, actually.
Check it out.
There.
It's taken a little bit of damage, but...
Not horrific.
It's not in full focus there, but it's actually still in pretty good shape.
It can be resharpened right there.
And then we're going to show you that you can cut barbed wire with it, like twisted barbed wire.
No, seriously.
This metal, this has high Rockwell hardness, and it's flexible.
It doesn't break.
It's not very fragile, and it's tough.
Look at this, man.
You just hammer right through steel with this knife, and then you can just cut with it.
You just watch it.
It's coming.
He's gonna cut paper with it after this.
You see the HRSG logo there?
That means Health Ranger Survival Gear.
And look at the tip, the pry bar tip on this thing.
Man, no one's got a knife like this.
This is my design.
There we go.
No one's ever made a knife like this.
Let me see if he's gonna show you cutting some paper with it.
I think he does.
Yeah, here we go.
Check this out.
If you want to know, is it still sharp?
Is it still functional?
Yeah, look.
Guess what?
Oh yeah, you can just slice paper with it.
No problem.
Anyway, we're going to stop it right there.
But that, I mean, that's a serious tool right there.
And it's not cheap.
And there's only, I think I was told we have a couple hundred of them.
We will make more.
It will probably be turned on today in our store, healthrangerstore.com.
And it's one of the items.
Now, it may not be turned on until later today.
So if you don't see it, just check back later.
I mean, we're just receiving those knives right now in inventory.
I mean, it's like it really just made it just in time.
But healthrangerstore.com slash Black Friday shows you all our Black Friday specials and sales and inventory that we have this year, which is pretty good inventory.
And I'm very happy about that given what's coming and the total financial collapse of the United States of America.
There's just no question.
You know, one of the things that happens when nations are plummeting into collapse is they become more of police state nations or more totalitarian nations.
And there was a headline today that just caught my eye that I've got to share with you.
This is from reclaimthenet.org.
Which talks about online liberty and privacy.
Here's the headline.
You won't believe this.
U.S. Treasury Department intercepted a payment for the police state documentary ad campaign.
So, Police State, it's a new film by Dinesh D'Souza, by the way.
And it exposes the authoritarianism that's taken over America.
It's a great film, and if you haven't seen it...
Check it out.
But from this story, the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network of the U.S. Department of the Treasury has abruptly intercepted a $106,000 payment intended to purchase ads for this police state film by Dinesh D'Souza.
So also from the story, the agency renowned for enforcing economic sanctions and monitoring assets primarily against terrorist cells and narcotics traffickers, the Office of Foreign Assets Control, or OFAC, might be something that you yell when your money gets seized.
OFAC! It took my money!
OFAC has taken an unprecedented interest in a local matter.
Dinesh D'Souza expresses his surprise at the censorship act against his police state film.
Quote, is this some kind of bureaucratic police state tactic to tie up our funds without explanation?
Well, of course it is.
So, by the way, the funds were released back to D'Souza, but how is this possible that this is happening in America?
If you thought...
I mean, maybe you're wiring money for something.
Maybe you're buying ad space, like what's happening with this.
Maybe you're paying somebody.
Maybe you're purchasing a piece of equipment.
Maybe you're buying gold.
Who knows?
Maybe you're buying a house.
Well, the Treasury can just seize your funds and say, it's suspicious!
Well, who took my money?
OFAC did!
OFAC! You got OFAC! What?!
Seriously, one more reason to own gold and silver and crypto.
Especially privacy crypto.
You know, like Firo or Monero.
Privacy crypto, government doesn't know you have it.
They can't take it.
They can't take it.
Gold and silver, they don't know how much you have physically.
I mean, they might have access to records if you bought it with a wire transfer, but after that, they don't know where it went.
They don't know what you're doing with it.
They don't know where you have it.
And they can't easily take it.
In the electronic realm, they can easily take anything.
You know, this is why you don't want to be part of the CBDCs, of course.
All your money is in their wallets and their controls, and they can just say, ah, we don't like it.
It's a suspicious operation.
Suspicious transaction.
OFAC, you got caught in a suspicious transaction.
What were you doing?
Donating to the Trump campaign?
Oh, that's suspicious.
You know, I mean, that's where this was going.
Look at the truckers.
The trucking protests in Canada and what happened there.
People got their bank accounts seized.
This is coming.
I mean, it's happening.
The global economic nightmare that's coming because of escalating war, it's...
You haven't even begun to experience a small taste of what is yet to come.
Even Israel is getting clobbered economically.
Check this out.
There was a report from an analyst named Adam Tooze.
He says that the, quote, special military operation against Gaza will plunge the Israeli economy into a severe crisis.
360,000 reservists have been mobilized.
That's 8% of the country's entire workforce.
What?
8% of the workers?
By comparison, this is the same as if 6 million people were mobilized in Russia, you know, per capita.
But of course, Russia has not mobilized anywhere near 6 million people.
Here's from the report, quote, credit card data suggests that private consumption in Israel has fallen by almost a third.
The Israeli people are not shopping.
Spending on leisure and entertainment fell by 70%.
Yeah, I guess no one's going out, you know, for tours and movies when bombs are being exchanged.
You know, when you get hit by Hamas rockets.
In different places in Israel.
Or Hezbollah rockets.
And of course, no one's going to see movies in Gaza.
Because all the movie theaters got bombed.
Tourism, the mainstay of the Israeli economy, has died completely.
Yeah, I mean...
Seriously, who wants to go to Israel at this point?
Nobody.
I mean, maybe journalists.
Maybe, and even that's risky.
How many journalists have been killed?
Did you see that the United Nations said that 88...
UN personnel have been killed in Gaza by Israel.
88!
Now you know that number is suspicious, right?
You remember what 88 stands for?
I learned this during the Ukraine-Russia war coverage when Germany said they were going to donate 88 panzer tanks.
And then I learned that 88 is code for Hitler because...
Well, H is the eighth letter of the alphabet.
And so 8-8 is...
I don't even want to say it.
I want anybody to take me out of context, but it's...
H. Hitler, right?
It's the chant that Nazis say when they want to love Hitler or praise Hitler.
It's H. Hitler, right?
That 88 means H. Hitler.
And so the UN saying that 88 UN personnel have died in Gaza.
I mean, maybe that's true, but maybe it's a little Nazi symbolism in there.
I don't know.
Just something to look at.
Anytime these numbers have been popping up, it makes me suspicious.
Anyway, continuing.
Flights have been canceled.
And then offshore, the Israeli government has ordered Chevron to halt production at the Tamar gas field, costing Israel, get this, $200 million a month in lost profits.
Israel's losing $200 million a month.
Well, no wonder they need more money from the United States.
No wonder.
And no wonder they're pushing Congress to enact billions of dollars of military aid to Israel.
And they're getting it.
They're getting it.
Because, of course, Israel owns the United States Congress and the Senate and the House and the presidency and almost all the candidates, too.
I found out today that even RFK Jr., to my great disappointment, appears to be all in with Israel.
All in.
I mean, he's made several statements already that show he supports all kinds of military funding to Israel.
You know, I really expected him to take a different track on this and he did not.
Running as an independent, but talking like he's part of the same system at this point.
I'm very disappointed.
I hope he rethinks that.
But then again, Trump is all 100% pro-Israel, too.
Trump's going to give them anything they need.
And it seems like it's crazy.
For the GOP, it's Israel first, Ukraine second, America last.
What about America?
What about the streets of San Francisco that we just saw there?
What about the collapse of American cities?
What about our border wall, huh?
What about our schools?
What about our infrastructure?
Did you see this massive explosion at a chemical plant in Texas?
It's crazy!
In fact, I think I have a video of this.
Alright, here you go.
See the massive smoke in the plume.
This was in Shepard, Texas.
One person injured.
Let's see.
A shelter in place was issued for a five mile radius.
Cause of the explosion is unknown.
Sent a plume of smoke over the area.
Let's see.
2,000 people affected in the area.
The San Jacinto Office of Emergency Management I mean, we don't know this for sure, but how much you want to bet that this is sabotage?
More sabotage probably to disrupt the supply chain.
And we've seen a lot of examples of that.
And frankly, with the collapsing dollar and accelerating war in the Middle East, And all the sabotage going on, the supply chain is going to become, you know, more and more difficult to navigate.
And then on top of that, check this out.
What's going on in the Middle East, especially in Gaza, is a reminder of the importance of preparedness.
Here's a headline from Middle East Eye.
Israel-Palestine War, colon, if we are not bombed to death, we are going to die of starvation.
And the subhead is a full siege imposed on October 9th, followed by the bombing of bakeries, supermarkets, and water tanks has forced people to take extreme measures to find any food or water.
It goes on, says there's only one thing on everybody's mind in Gaza right now, how to secure access to food and water.
I mean, think about this for your own situation.
You have backup food and water?
You have a water filter?
Do you have a food supply?
I mean, is it bomb?
I mean, hopefully you're not going to get bombed.
I mean, I admit, even if I were bombed, it would definitely disrupt my storage plans.
I don't have, like, underground missile silos stocked full of food, although that would be awesome.
That would be the ultimate prepper move.
I don't have that.
Too bad.
Those missile silos are designed to survive nuclear strikes, by the way, and there are missile silos across America that they've been turned into underground condos and such, and you can buy a spot.
I've heard it's pretty expensive.
You can buy a spot, and you can show up and go underground while the world collapses.
Very interesting.
I've seen stories on that over the last year.
But if you don't have that, if you don't have a million dollars to buy a Golden Pass ticket to your underground bunker, what do you have that you can do?
And probably you're not going to get bombed, but you are going to face supply chain disruptions on a global scale, which means that food is going to get much more scarce.
It's going to become much more expensive.
Water, well, if you depend on the municipal water system, how are you going to solve that problem when the water pressure goes to zero?
Do you have a water filter?
Obviously, gravity filters are very handy because they don't require electricity.
They don't have any moving parts.
And they've also been hard to come by because of the EPA attacks on Big Berkey and so on.
That's crazy.
We covered that previously.
But make sure you're squared away.
You know, chlorine dioxide is something that can be used to purify water when used as directed.
And I've given out the company name on that before, Safrax, S-A-F-R-A-X.com.
You can go to Safrax.com and you can buy the little chlorine dioxide instant tablets.
You toss them into a bucket of water and it makes a certain PPM concentration of chlorine dioxide, which purifies water.
Again, just use it as directed.
If you don't follow the directions, you know, you don't want to breathe in the chlorine gas, by the way.
So just follow directions, use it safely and wisely, but you should have some of that in your preparedness kit, at least in my opinion.
I've got quite a lot of that.
But from this story, quote, after a month of relentless bombing, Palestinians have exhausted the resources they had as generators fall quiet due to a lack of fuel and even emergency food supplies dry up.
The fear of death from airstrikes has become secondary to the unavoidable necessity of eating.
I mean, can you imagine having to make a decision like, I'm starving to death, I need to stand in the breadline, but if I stand in the breadline, that's where bombs are sometimes falling.
Do I want to get bombed or do I want to starve?
I mean, seriously.
This is the reality that Palestinians are facing right now.
I mean, no matter what you think of the politics of the situation, whether you're pro-Israel, pro-Palestine, Anti-Hamas, pro-Hamas, whatever, people are facing real starvation right now, lack of water, lack of food, lack of sanitation, and this is a stark reminder to all of us around the world that your preparedness plans, you might need to shore them up because things can happen that you did not imagine.
Things can happen such as a sudden war out of nowhere.
And people who even had a one-month supply of food, well, that's done now.
I mean, the bombings have been going on for a month.
And even if you didn't get bombed, you're out of food.
Now what do you do?
Do you have a month's supply of water stored up?
I mean, very few people do.
Supermarkets have been swept clean of all products, says the story, with videos shared online showing empty shelves.
Stores and bakeries have been repeatedly bombed by Israel since the start of the war.
Even mosques, which had water, have been bombed.
Water points and solar panels are all gone due to the bombing.
And one Jabalaya resident said, if we are not bombed to death, we're going to die of starvation.
I don't need to explain how painful that would be.
During these times of crisis, we are forced to drink any water we can find, even if it's not clean.
Wow!
That would be a good time to have chlorine dioxide, wouldn't it?
Or, you know, colloidal silver, or almost anything.
Water filter, you name it.
Quote, there isn't even any flour left for people to try and make bread at home.
It's become like a famine here.
People are living on biscuits, and there's only so long you can survive on biscuits.
Yeah, no kidding.
Now, the generators have run out of fuel, so there's an important reminder for you and your preparedness plans.
Because, I mean, let's face it, the dollar is going to collapse.
This is a 100% possibility, by the way.
It's not a maybe.
It's not a theory.
There is a 100% chance the United States dollar collapses.
It's going to happen.
When it happens, the cities in America will face many of the same challenges of Gaza, even without the bombing.
Just having no transactions, no fuel, no electricity functioning, no water supply, no food, the grocery stores all wiped out.
Even before then, grocery stores are shutting down and leaving a lot of these cities because of the shoplifting.
The pharmacies are shutting down and moving out.
So how are you going to have a supply?
What are you doing about your fuel supply, by the way?
This is a good time to remind you.
Think about your fuel supply.
I've covered this before, so I'm not going to go into extreme detail here, but diesel is the easiest and best fuel to store.
And real quickly, diesel, gallon per gallon, diesel has more energy than gasoline, gallon by gallon.
Diesel is far safer than gasoline.
Diesel is very difficult to combust compared to gasoline, which is easy to combust.
And diesel barely evaporates, whereas gasoline easily evaporates.
And if you don't have well-sealed containers, you can accidentally create a vapor bomb in your garage with gasoline containers.
That's not cool.
You're basically creating a fuel air explosive in your own garage, and your local fire marshal will not be thrilled with that.
You might be getting bombed like Gaza, but just from your own poorly stored gasoline containers.
I mean, it's literally like a little thermobaric bomb.
Yeah, try not to do that at home.
And you know, even if you don't have a generator, or a diesel-powered generator, or the setup I've described before, like a diesel tractor with a PTO generator, even if you don't have that, if you just have a diesel vehicle, In the middle of the winter, you're freezing, your home is cold, there's no power grid, you can start up your car or your truck, warm it up, turn on the heater, and just warm up.
Just sit there in the seat and warm up.
I mean, it's better than nothing, and you can probably plug in a little inverter.
Into the DC, you know, the cigarette lighter typically, or you can, some vehicles have USB ports, whatever.
You can charge phones and devices basically, you know, using your engine as a little generator right there.
So all you have to do is store diesel and have a diesel vehicle in order to make that happen.
Or you could do it with gasoline, but diesel's better.
But my point is, think about these things.
This is no joke.
Frankly, I think many millions of people around the world are going to be facing this Gaza-like situation due to economic collapse, not even rockets and missiles and bombs, but just economic collapse.
And then, by the way, the worse your crisis gets, the more people tend to depend on government for assistance and bailouts and so on.
Of course, governments aren't just going to give you free money without all kinds of strings attached, right?
So check out this headline from the National Pulse.
Brazil's government threatens to withhold welfare if parents don't vaccinate their children.
Right.
Yeah.
So, okay.
You're poor in Brazil.
Plenty of people are.
You've got kids.
Yep, that's another thing.
Pretty common in Brazil.
You apply for welfare payments from the government, and the government says, well, you've got to prove that your kids have been jabbed.
Yeah, guess what?
If you don't jab them, then you're facing famine, poverty, starvation.
I don't know.
Or you could go get a job, I suppose.
But there are reasons why people can't work that are beyond merely just not wanting to.
So either jab your kids and risk killing them and probably making them infertile, or you won't get welfare checks.
That could happen in America.
It probably will.
So the left-wing president of Brazil, Luiz da Silva, you know, that whole election was rigged as well, has added COVID vaccines to Brazil's national immunization program.
And that mandates all kinds of different vaccines for children.
If you fail to comply, you will not qualify for the Bolsa Familia program.
I guess that's like, what is that?
Bags of food for families or something?
Is that what that means, I think?
I don't know.
I don't speak Portuguese, but maybe that's what it means.
And if you think about it, if you're the Brazilian government, it's a pretty effective way to reduce your welfare payments.
By killing the kids that, you know, of the families that qualify for welfare.
It's like, oh, okay, you want welfare payments?
Pretty much just murder your children and then we'll give you money until your children die, in which case then you won't qualify.
I mean, pretty evil, right?
Insidious.
But that's how governments operate, especially radical left-wing governments, such as the one running Brazil.
So if the day comes in America...
Where, you know, you're desperate, food supply chain is broken down, bank account doesn't function, the whole banking system has had a giant bail-in, you know, all your base belong to us, as the saying goes, or all your money is now the bank's money, and you have no options, and suddenly you're lined up at a food bank or something, guess what it's going to be?
Oh, show us your vaccine passport if you want some soup!
Right?
And if you don't, if you're like, I'm not jabbed.
No soup for you!
You know, soup Nazis.
That's what's going to happen.
Oh, you have to scan the QR code on your phone, your vaccine passport, your social credit score has to be over 700, you know.
Oh, you said you were critical of, you know, whatever, transgenderism?
Oh, you don't qualify for free food.
That's exactly how this is going to function.
So, food is freedom, actually.
Those who have food stored up will be a lot more free than those who depend on government assistance, given what's coming.
Oh, hey, by the way, kind of related to that last story about Brazil and the vaccine mandates, this is a story I've been wanting to bring you for a couple of days.
It just didn't fit in until today.
So this story, written by our own Ethan Huff at naturalnews.com.
Here it is.
COVID-vaccinated suffering psychosis, panic attacks, and hallucinations.
And this story cites the Epoch Times.
A story by Marina Zhang.
And here it is.
I've got to read this for you because this is extraordinary.
I mean, not the whole thing, but...
Dr.
Patrick William Slater is a 60-year-old neurotologist.
That's what the story says.
I don't know what a neurotologist is, but I'm pretty sure that's not a typo, so it probably is.
I mean, it's not a neurologist, it's a neurotologist, whatever that is.
Okay.
A few years ago, he had a full-time medical practice in Austin and enjoyed hunting and fishing in the mountains during his downtime.
Then, in October 2021...
Dr.
Slater came down with cerebral ataxia, a disease-affecting movement.
He couldn't eat or go to the bathroom without help.
That sounds like a living hell, by the way.
While his ataxia could be managed using drugs, it wasn't always effective against his biggest complaint.
Unprecedented panic attacks.
Almost every night, he would experience panic attacks that left him in, quote, abject terror.
He thought about killing himself many times, he told the Epoch Times.
Nothing abnormal showed up in his lab reports, and his neurologist and psychiatrist dismissed his symptoms as anxiety, but he is convinced that COVID-19 mRNA vaccines are the culprit.
The first symptoms appeared within two weeks of getting the second dose of the COVID shot.
The second and worse wave of career-ending symptoms coincided with his third shot.
After taking the booster, quote, there was no question in my mind, he said.
Beginning in late 2020 with the COVID vaccine rollout, some doctors have seen an increase in unusual psychiatric illnesses.
Here's a psychiatrist.
Dr.
Amanda McDonald noticed a wave of psychiatric destabilization among her stable patients.
They experienced flare-ups, often manifesting with worsened or new psychiatric symptoms.
I couldn't figure out why, she said.
My patients typically stay stable.
But many patients were suddenly arriving at our office with insomnia, depression, or anxiety without any sort of rhyme or reason.
Anyway, the pattern was that they were vaccinated, and then they began to suffer atypical panic attacks, and some of them experienced this terror, these terror attacks.
In fact, over 80% of the VAERS reports describing panic attacks are now attributed to COVID-19 vaccines.
There have been 1,100 cases of hallucinations and 975 cases of irritability.
I don't know, that doesn't sound so bad.
You seem really irritable today.
I am grumpy.
I've got grumpy disorder.
If that's the worst that the vaccine does, that's not as bad as what a lot of other people are experiencing.
Grumpy disorder.
In Brazil, a previously healthy woman in her late 30s developed refractory psychosis within 24 hours of getting the mRNA COVID-19 vaccine.
She was aggressive, she had disorganized thoughts, and she believed she was being persecuted in the hospital.
She probably was being persecuted in the hospital.
I mean, that may not be psychosis.
That may be just modern medicine with ventilators, you know, by the way.
In Taiwan, a 15-year-old boy was sent to the hospital with agitation and uncontrollable limb stretching and screaming two days after his second Pfizer shot.
Anyway, the article talks about a lot of other symptoms and, you know, you gotta wonder, is it the vaccines?
Is it the vaccines alone?
Or is it vaccines plus?
Maybe 5G? Possibly?
Is there a binary weapon at play here?
Is it vaccines plus something else?
What is making some people highly susceptible to the mRNA jabs, whereas other people may experience nothing?
But I'm sure you can share with me the experience of interacting with people in society today and finding out that there are way more crazy people than I remember.
What is the deal with all the crazy people?
Have you noticed that?
People are losing their minds.
And people are snapping.
People are just losing their temper.
It's made me even more calm.
I don't want to trigger anybody out there standing in line or in traffic or anything.
I just back off.
I was at a barbecue restaurant just a few days ago.
It's something I do every few months.
I love barbecue brisket.
I don't know.
When was the last time I talked about this?
This was probably like three months ago.
Three or four months.
Anyway, I had barbecue one more time.
I was at a barbecue place.
And I'd ordered some stuff to go and some big quarts of coleslaw and whatever.
And I had some brisket.
And we decided to eat a little bit there.
At the place where I purchased it.
And I realized I needed a smaller container for barbecue sauce.
Because we had a big container of barbecue sauce.
We needed to pour it into a smaller container for dipping.
And I went up to the counter.
And there's a bunch of little styrofoam cups up there.
And so I put my hands on one of the styrofoam cups.
And I say to the gal behind the counter, Hey, can I have one of the styrofoam cups just for barbecue sauce?
And she's like, No!
No!
That's starting from God!
No!
Only to go!
You can't do that!
Like, whoa, chill!
Whoa, okay!
Sorry!
I let go.
You know?
De-escalate.
No problem.
No problem.
Went back.
I'll just pour the barbecue sauce on the table.
You know?
Just make a little barbecue pool right there.
Just dip in that.
That sounds kind of gross, but...
I mean, no, you can't start with some cops!
You know, like, man, this is like zombie barbecue here or something.
What happened to these people?
So, you know, I just left a barbecue sauce pool right on the table.
I mean, if anybody asks me, like, well, I tried to put it in a container.
Crazy lady said no.
What was I supposed to do?
But that's indicative of our society today.
I mean, I literally spent $150.
Barbecue's not cheap.
I spent $150 on barbecue there, and she gives me crap over a two-cent Styrofoam cup, you know?
A little tiny.
It must have cost two pennies.
But that's what's going on.
And you probably have similar stories where you've just been doing something totally normal, totally routine, you know, and somebody loses their minds.
Oh man, imagine what this is going to be like when the banks stop functioning, or the dollar collapses, or the water supply stops working.
Imagine how crazy people are going to get at that moment.
So, you know, one of the skills I should have added to yesterday's podcast, which was the seven habits, essentially, or seven attributes that would get you through these end times, I probably should have added number eight, which is de-escalation, or basically just social skills, dealing with people in a way that is not escalatory.
That's actually a really important skill to have during these difficult times.
Sometimes you've just got to let go of the styrofoam cup and say, it's okay.
It's cool.
I'll do something else.
No problem.
Or sometimes you've got to just let a person...
Yeah, oh, you want to cut in line?
Yeah, go ahead.
I'm not in a hurry.
It's cool.
Go ahead.
You're more important.
Just do it.
You don't even have to say that.
That might be escalatory.
You say that silently in your mind.
Clearly, you're way more important.
Go ahead.
But verbally, you're like, oh, please, yeah, you must have been here first.
But de-escalation tactics are very important.
But I've always been a polite person in public.
I don't know if you've known this about me, but if you're ever at a grocery store, let's say you have a shopping cart full of stuff, and there's only one lane open, and then let's say a guy or a gal gets in line behind you and they've got two things.
Do you let them go in front of you?
Because I do.
I do that all the time.
Oh, here.
You go.
You only have two things.
I've got a whole shopping cart full of things.
You've got two things.
Go ahead.
Go.
I've done that so many times.
One time I got burned, though, because one time somebody got in front, you know, and I said, here you go, and it looked like they only had two things, but then actually they had all these requests.
Like, I need ice, and I need cigarettes, and I need all this stuff that's locked up over there, and it turned into a 10-minute ordeal.
I was like, man, you kind of, you had an obligation to disclose that to me when I let you in front, you know?
That's kind of like false advertising.
You're only holding two things, but actually in your mind you had 12 things.
So I got burned once, but that's okay.
It's all right.
I've got stuff to do in my own mind.
Just waiting in line.
You should have things to do in your own mind.
And then I have to mention this because it's a true story and it's funny.
But remember the time that I was in line with all the bananas in my shopping cart?
Because I bought a lot of bananas and avocados for my smoothies.
I was in line with all these bananas and then this dude comes up behind me, this older guy, and he says, Are you feeding the monkeys?
I'm just out of the blue.
He says that.
And of course, I have a sense of humor.
So I looked at him.
I looked at the banana and said, no, I'm the monkey.
I'm the monkey.
They're for me.
And he thought that was funny.
And that's when he said, hey, I have a third nipple.
Remember that guy?
Third nipple guy.
Just out of the blue.
I have a third nipple.
And to this day, I still regret not saying immediately right back to him, show us.
Because that would have been the best answer of all time.
And I didn't think of it at the time.
That's one of my greatest regrets in life is not coming up with that right there on the spot.
Show us.
Show us all.
Hey, everybody.
Third nipple on Register 7.
Third nipple.
Everybody, take a look.
Third.
Not two, but three.
Genetic enhancement.
Register 7.
Third nipple.
Okay.
Everybody get a look.
All right.
Take a picture.
Third temple on a guy.
Okay.
I've always found if you can make people laugh, that's a good way to de-escalate the situation.
And a good way to make people laugh is to laugh first.
Not at them.
Sometimes at yourself.
Sometimes at what's going on.
You know, find things in common.
Like, man, those shelves are empty, aren't they?
Yeah.
Dang.
We say, hey, did you ever notice all the people wearing flip-flops while they're pushing around carts with these hard, hard wheels, these like metal wheels or something?
Would you want open-toed, you know, sandals or flip-flops with people pushing carts around?
I don't know.
That just doesn't make any sense to me.
Wear shoes in the grocery store, folks.
Like open-toed footwear and heavy shopping carts with rugged wheels.
They do not go together.
That's all I'm saying.
Alright, I've got a big announcement to share with you today.
It's a big announcement in the industry of food and superfoods.
You're going to love this.
In fact, I have a whole interview for you on this with Reno Rollet, who's the co-founder of Boku Superfood.
And that's spelled B-O-K-U. Now, Boku Superfood is a company that I helped get off the ground, I guess it was 15 or 16 years ago.
And many of you listening here, you may have been customers or maybe you are customers of Boku Superfood.
Boku specializes in plant-based proteins and even they have like a vanilla protein, a chocolate protein.
It's a pea protein enhanced with all these super potent superfoods, including functional mushrooms and many other ingredients and certain berries and things that go in.
And they're also formulating meal replacement products and so on that are based on their philosophy of very high nutrition but always plant-based.
So they don't do whey protein.
They don't do collagen or that.
It's all vegetarian or vegan.
Well, interesting news to share with you.
We, at the Health Manager store, we are taking over the Boku Superfood brand.
We are, in fact, from here forward, we are manufacturing all their products, enhancing their products with all our lab testing.
And making it and then fulfilling it, you know, retailing it and fulfilling it out of our facility.
So the entire Boku Superfood brand line is now going to be under the roof, the umbrella of the Health Ranger store.
And right now, the Boku Superfood products that are still available...
are offered during our Black Friday event at healthrangerstore.com but this is it for a couple of months because we're working the supply chains and doing all the lab testing of all the ingredients sourcing to get ready for a whole new production line for Boku Superfood that will launch probably in January.
And so between now and then, all we have is the existing inventory of Boku Superfood, which won't last very long, but some of it is available right now during our Black Friday event.
Anyway, I've got a great interview today with Reno Roule.
And I've known Reno for more than 16 years.
He's an amazing man.
He's an innovator.
He's an entrepreneur.
He's passionate.
He's driven by ethics.
He's got very strong internal principles, and he's a family man, and he believes in health and nutrition, and he's a shining example of it himself.
He's in his 60s and he looks in great shape, let me tell you.
You wouldn't guess his age just by looking at him.
But he and I have had a lot of Opportunities to spend time together over the years dealing with superfoods and different adventures and so on.
For example, we've hiked mountains in Ecuador.
And his wife and my wife and the four of us would get together and do all kinds of fun things over the years.
And, you know, outdoors kinds of things like adventures in South America.
I mean, the stories we could tell you.
Well, actually, you'll hear some of those stories in this interview.
So that's the interview that's coming up.
Reno Rolet, the co-founder of Boku Superfood.
His son, Reno Jr., is now the key formulator of Boku.
And like I said, we are now going to be the exclusive manufacturer of the entire Boku line from here forward.
And we're honored to do that.
And we're going to bring all of our lab testing and microbiology testing and heavy metals testing and dioxin testing and all this stuff to his entire product line.
So if you've been a fan of Boku, then you're going to find that from now on, of course, at HealthRangerStore.com.
Now, in the meantime, of course, today is the big day.
This is the launch of our once-a-year event.
It's the Black Friday event.
Black Friday comes early for us.
This is the way that we beat the mad shippers rush that happens on Thanksgiving or the day after when UPS and FedEx and USPS are all backlogged and can't get anything delivered on time.
So we do it early so that you get your products early.
And we've done this for several years now and it's worked out great.
So it starts today.
It runs from 11 a.m. to today Central Time for the next four days, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, ends at midnight.
And if you want to see the over 300 products that we have available, some of which are on sale at 55% off normal price, I mean, that's the maximum discount.
Others are less discount than that, but there are a lot of great deals.
You can go to healthrangerstore.com slash blackfriday.
All one word together like that.
You can see the full catalog.
It all begins right now and we start shipping immediately.
And by the way, over the last year we have invested in a substantial new logistics system that makes our order processing about Either half a day or a full day faster than it used to be.
So we are going to be able to get out orders a lot more quickly this year than we used to.
And also we have upscaled our fulfillment system.
We have a double-decker automatic conveyor belt system and multiple scanning and packing stations, picking and pack stations.
I mean, I wish I could give you a tour because it's pretty amazing.
But we should be shipping right away for many orders placed today.
And then we'll be shipping also, of course, Friday.
And then anything that is purchased over the weekend, we'll be shipping that for the first half of next week.
And then if you're wondering what we're going to do with your financial support, a couple of things.
Number one, as you know, we're about to roll out our dioxin testing.
We have up and running now our gas chromatography instrument, which is our dioxin testing system.
It's actually under vacuum right now, and we're about to be trained on that instrument by the techs, the analytical technicians from the company that sold us that instrument.
I'm pretty sure that'll be fairly easy for me to master since I've run triple quad mass spec and single quad mass spec and liquid chromatography and ICP-MS. I've run all that stuff for many years now.
So like six years or no, 10 years.
What am I thinking?
It's been 10.
Jeez.
So I don't think this is going to be hard.
In fact, gas chromatography is easier, but I do need to get familiar with the instrument and just kind of understand that interface and also some of the limitations of GC and so on.
Anyway, I'm going to get trained and then I'm going to film some videos and we're going to show you how we're doing dioxin testing.
So we will be the only lab in the world.
I should say the only manufacturer of foods and superfoods that does routine in-house testing for dioxins.
Now, dioxins were created in the fallout of the East Palestine train accident, as you recall.
And there are dioxins found at trace levels all the time, mostly in animal products, by the way, milk and cheese and meats.
So we're going to go to the grocery store also and get a bunch of samples.
And run the dioxin testing on those samples.
Now, dioxin testing, if you were to go out and try to get it done for you, it can cost up to a thousand dollars a sample.
It's not inexpensive.
It involves a lot of energy and some sample prep time.
Just our sample prep instrument is like $50,000.
That's just for extracting the dioxin out of the sample, not to mention the instrument that does the testing.
So it's a lot of money that goes into this, but we're dedicated to this, and I can't wait to show you videos.
This is going to be really exciting.
So that's one thing we're doing.
The second thing that we're doing is we're building a bigger studio building.
It might take 18 months.
Who knows?
Construction is difficult to get done these days.
But we have already specced out a building.
We're waiting for currently surveyors, actually, to nail down some elevations on the plot.
And then we're going to start construction probably early next year.
We're going to build out some studios and one of those will be a food kitchen studio where we can do some smoothies.
We'll have a permanent kitchen island smoothie station and my intention is to invite some experts in to show you how to make some really nutritious recipes using either our own products or products that you can get things from the grocery store.
Or, you know, things that you can maybe grow yourself.
But we're going to show you some more hands-on recipes.
That's something else we're working on.
And then, of course, we're working on expanding our brighteon.tv and brighteonradio.com platforms with additional live streaming at any time.
Oh, and that's also going to be launched.
It's already been partially launched at brighteon.com.
We're about to roll out a brand new BrightTown.com interface.
You'll see it maybe in two weeks.
I've already approved most of it.
And many channels will be activated with live streaming at any time.
So you're going to have a lot more live content on BrightTown.com.
And of course, we cover all the bandwidth costs and everything.
Our bandwidth is through the roof.
It's petabytes a month.
It's a lot.
It's a lot of bandwidth.
There's a lot of file storage, but we're dedicated to free speech.
And we believe that if we make it to elections here next year in the United States, that our platform, Brighttown.com, will, through all the various channels and contributors, will be able to offer a lot of live election coverage and pre-election coverage will be able to offer a lot of live election coverage and pre-election coverage and also live coverage of many breaking news Just from people who are participating with their channels who want to broadcast live.
And so that's also being substantially expanded.
And so, you know, these are pretty substantial projects.
You know, millions of dollars of investments in lab equipment and buildings and R&D and writing code and bandwidth and so on.
And this is what it takes.
So thanks to your support, we're able to do this.
We're dedicated to doing this, as you know.
You know where I stand on the issue of human freedom and fighting for team humanity.
And for health and nutrition, awakening and red-billing the world and surviving the end-times apocalypse and also fighting for human freedom along the way.
So that's what we're going to keep doing all next year and beyond.
Thanks to your support.
So this is the time to support us and get your best deals, best savings of the year at HealthRangerStore.com.
So check it out.
It's all happening today and the next, well, four days total through midnight Sunday night.
Okay.
With that said, enjoy the interview here with Reno Rollet from Boku Superfood.
Welcome to today's interview on Brighteon.com.
I'm Mike Adams, the founder of Brighteon.
And we've got a really awesome natural ocean outdoor scene behind us here because today we have a really unique and big deal announcement to share with you with our special guest today, Reno Rolet, who is the founder of Boku Superfood.
He joins us.
Welcome, Reno.
It's great to have you on here today.
Hey, Mike.
Thanks for joining me.
Thank you.
I can't even thank you enough for having me, Mike.
Thank you.
Well, this is actually a very big deal for the industry as well, what we're about to announce today.
And, you know, you and I have known each other for many, many years, probably 15 plus years.
And we've done a lot of innovation together and shared ideas and formulations and so on back and forth.
And I'm thrilled to be able to announce today that HealthRangerStore will be partnering with Boku Superfood to actually manufacture and lab test your product line and to carry them exclusively at HealthRangerStore.com.
It's a big deal.
Just to hear those words, Mike, it's been such a journey that, as you know, many of the readers also know began with For us back in 2007 together when we actually launched Boku Superfood.
And to now come full circle this many years later and to find ourselves at home on the Health Ranger platform, it's almost overwhelming, Mike.
Super exciting.
Well, we're excited about it, too.
And also what's so great is, you know, you and your partners there and some of your family members have been intimately involved in your company.
And they've become expert formulators, and they've formulated these amazing products.
Actually, show my desk shot here.
You've got Super Protein.
You've got Boku Super Food, and two different varieties of the protein there.
They're expertly formulated.
Non-animal products.
These are pea protein based, but they're super delicious.
Now we are combining with that, Reno, our laboratory expertise, as you know, for the testing of the raw materials, the testing of the final product, the E. coli microbiology testing, the heavy metals testing, glyphosate testing, and we're about to bring online our dioxin testing.
So this will be now Boku Superfood will be subjected to our very detailed supply chain testing and quality control mechanisms.
So that's a first.
A first and a huge milestone for us because, Mike, as you know, when we began Boku, we committed to maintaining almost unmanageable standards that you created for us.
And it's been a really challenging journey over the past 16 years or so, As you know better than anyone, maintaining that quality, finding those quality ingredients.
And we haven't had the benefit of an in-house laboratory.
We've tested in-house.
We've used third-party resources to manage those standards and maintain those standards.
And again, it's almost laughable, Mike, because you set those standards for us.
And you've always been that, you know, I tell my kids, our customers, you're like a compass.
You point true north.
And I've always respected and admired that in you.
There's no wavering one degree from the truth from as close to perfection as we can possibly get in terms of the quality of The integrity of these ingredients and then obviously the formulations, which we've always endeavored to exceed industry standards.
We've tried to lead this industry with innovation second to nothing.
And as you mentioned, Reno Jr., who's a sort of protege of yours, and Reno is the inspiration for Boku.
Boku was created in a quest to sort of avoid pharmaceutical drugs for Reno Jr.
When he was a small kid, he was, you know, in kindergarten and labeled attention deficit by the school system there.
I don't know if you even remember this.
And instead of putting him on drugs, we discovered superfoods.
And it's amazing to look back now so many years later and consider the fact that Reno was the catalyst.
Reno was the reason we were introduced to superfoods.
And now he's what we call the Boku alchemist.
His whole life is centered in this brilliant mission to formulate next level products for Boku and now for the Health Ranger store, which is, again, remarkable.
Oh, wow.
Yeah.
I'm so happy to be able to take this journey with you and share it with you.
And also, for those who are watching, if you've never heard of Boku Superfood, Boku is all the rage in certain circles, even in California.
You've been based out of Ojai, California for many years, and you're just a fan favorite among the locals there with your smoothie bars and so on.
And the formulations that you have are just top-notch.
I don't know anybody else who can make pea protein-based products taste as good and deliver as much nutrition as you can.
I want to ask you, in fact, to talk about a little bit what's in them.
But first, let me just mention that your existing inventory, which we have laboratory tested and we have approved, your existing inventory, before we do the next production batch, your inventory is available exclusively at healthrangerstore.com, only while supplies last.
And we have much of it on sale beginning Thursday, November 9th, which is our product.
our Black Friday sale event.
And if you scroll down, if you go to healthrangerstore.com slash Black Friday, you will see some of what we have available, some items up to 55% off.
But right here are the Boku products, the Super Protein Chocolate, the Organic Superfood Daily, which is like a meal replacement product, and the Organic Super Protein Vanilla.
So, Reno, tell us a little bit about what goes into these products, because it's multiple layers of nutrition and superfoods, not just two or three things.
Yeah, well, it really goes back to when we discovered superfoods, Mike, and the first product that arrived at our house, this is back in 1994, if you can imagine, It was a superfood blend that really tasted like fish food.
And I was reluctant, you know, based on the smell, the taste of it, to even try it.
But we did.
We were, you know, led to believe that this would really make a huge difference for us.
So Lynn, being the innovator in the kitchen that she was then and still is, was able to mix this superfood powder into different liquids, juices, etc.
to get the kids to consume it.
And once we learned how impactful, how transformative the effect of these superfoods were, that's when the passion was ignited in us to discover and learn more.
And when we decided to embark on this journey many years later to create our own superfood blend, we knew that it was critically important not only to offer the highest quality, you know, effective or efficacious ingredients, functional ingredients, but they had to taste good Our mission,
which was admittedly an enormous challenge, was to blend these super high-quality functional ingredients together in a broad-spectrum formula that would deliver that sort of next-level performance to But at the same time, appeal to consumers' taste buds.
And, you know, when we launched the company back in 2007, the industry was much different.
We did align with a brilliant naturopathic medical doctor who, Mike, I know you recall Dr.
B.J. Adderson.
And it was really his genius that sort of started this whole process for us.
Because when we created Boku Superfood, it was truly amazing.
A broad-spectrum blend, an intense blend of super nutrient-dense, health-forming ingredients.
But we were able to offset some of those bitter notes, if you will, or flavors by combining fruits and mushrooms and berries and things of this nature.
So what we ended up with was something that was incredibly potent, but at the same time, you know, palatable.
So that sort of, again, set the guideline or the template for us going forward to where that became our claim to fame, if you will.
We never compromised on quality.
We never compromised on potency, on functionality, but we were able to offer incredibly delicious products at the same time.
So that's really what guides us.
And many of your products, I mean, I've used them over the years as a starting base with my Vitamix, and you add to it.
You add a banana.
Or, you know, like, I mean, here I am right here.
This is my avocado banana smoothie for today.
And I use, you know, so many of the same ingredients that Boku uses in here, although this one happens to be a whey protein-based product today.
Because I love the taste of whey as well, but a lot of people don't want whey in their diet.
They want just a vegetarian or vegan option.
But you can add to it.
You can make it chocolate.
You can make it coffee.
You can make it banana peanut butter.
You can also go the route of berries.
You can make it tropical.
You can do pineapples and mangoes and make it super delicious in that way.
And what's amazing about the Boku Superfood Base is that it's not pigeonholed into one flavor category.
You can use it for a lot of different things.
That's a great point, Mike.
And a lot of our customers obviously do that.
I'm one of these kind of add water customers.
Shake it and take it.
You know, I'm all about the functionality and I've been consuming Boku Superfood now pretty much daily for the past 16, 17 years.
And so I'm all about just efficiency, getting it in my body and getting on with my busy life.
But you're right.
There's just so much room to experiment and have fun.
And everybody's different.
Like you point out, some people like a sweet, some people like chocolate, some people like more Banana.
And Boku blends seamlessly with all of those functional foods.
The one thing, we've always focused on plant-based ingredients because we are a plant-based company.
And we love the fact that we're using powdered ingredients.
Main reason for that, number one, the efficiencies.
There's no waste.
As you know, Mike, so much of the food that's cultivated in North America is wasted, which is really unsustainable.
You know, industrialized farming practices speak to that.
It's just ridiculous.
But when we powder our foods at the source...
We're essentially locking in all that nutritional potency and removing perishability.
That's a huge message that we believe very strongly in.
So we love the fact that all of our ingredients are powdered, but what you do with it at home, we say just add water, add ice, and it's going to be remarkably delicious.
But to your point, go ahead, add a banana, add some fresh berries, some kale, some greens.
You know, have fun with it.
The main thing for us is we focus on creating the highest quality, most nutrient dense superfood blends on earth and it's all about you getting them in your body.
Yeah, and also, by the way, for kids, you know, I'm thinking a lot of families, they have kids and kids tend to have a much sweeter tooth, you know, perhaps because of the diets they're exposed to.
And to introduce this to a child, sometimes you do need to sweeten it up a little bit.
You add a banana, you add fruit, whatever it takes.
And some people like to add...
You know milk or like a coconut milk or an oat milk or an almond milk or anything like that you know nuts and seeds can go very well with this and lastly I want to mention There are other vegetarian proteins out there, such as hemp protein, but personally, I've never been a fan of the hemp protein taste.
There's a spectrum of taste and hemp protein, even though it's very nutritious and some people love it, for me, it's just never been as smooth as pea protein.
That's a really difficult ingredient to formulate around for that reason, Mike.
You make another good point.
Super healthy, wonderful ingredient, but difficult to make palatable.
That's one of the reasons it's not in most of our superfood blends.
I think Reno Jr.
incorporates hemp in the Super Shake, which we'll talk about later, which we'll introduce in the Health Ranger store a little bit later as well.
You know, it is important.
People, regardless of how healthy, the positive changes you may experience from superfoods, if it tastes like something you scrape from the bottom of your lawnmower, it's going to be harder to stick with.
You know what I mean?
Wheatgrass shots.
Yeah.
Some people have a very, very highly evolved sense of taste, but the average consumer, they want it to really taste good, truly taste good, not something you have to choke down.
And that's something we've been very, very proud of.
Now, as a result, the cost of our foods has gone up.
Maintaining the high standards of quality, incorporating these additional ingredients that are number one, super health forming, number two, delicious, is a challenge.
And it's been very difficult.
And another reason that we are so enormously excited about this opportunity to partner with you, Mike, because of what you've achieved, which is nothing short of remarkable in the business that you've built.
With the in-house laboratory, your buying power, your resources, just absolutely astonishing.
And trust me, I've been in the industry a long time.
And there's nobody out there doing it the way you do with that level of integrity.
And this is so important to us because we've refused to compromise.
And it has been incredibly difficult.
And that's why we're so excited that all roads have led back to the health rangers.
Well, this is a key element.
And thank you for bringing that up.
And by the way, Reno, next time you come out to Central Texas, we'll give you a tour of the laboratory.
Oh, that'd be great.
I know you've toured our warehouse and our manufacturing facility, our fulfillment areas, the studio, all of that.
But, of course, we have this mass spec lab.
We're just setting up the dioxin testing, which is a gas chromatography instrument.
I can't wait to show you that.
But we'll film there, okay?
So we'll actually take Boku superfood samples into the lab.
And we'll show people the testing on the ICP-MS, which is the heavy metals testing, or the triple-quad mass spec for glyphosate testing.
But, I mean, that's going to be a lot of fun.
I can't wait, because I always have fun with you.
Indeed.
But the other thing that's critical about this relationship, this partnership, is that we have a supply chain that we have built over many, many years, a lot of relationships with key suppliers that we've done Lab testing and we've identified, you know, which farms are clean and which providers are clean.
And also there are cost efficiencies.
So as we start to manufacture your product line, which, you know, we'll be making it from here forward, and it's going to take a couple months for the new production lots to be done, but as we do that, and you and I have already talked about this, I'm just sharing it with the public,
there may be ways that we can tweak your ingredient list And add in a superfood element that we've been able to source successfully that might otherwise be difficult to source, or also to take ingredients that you've already sourced before, but now we source them through a chain where we have our own internal relationship with that chain.
And so the ingredients are going to be Enhance to whatever extent that we can practically manage knowing our supply chain providers and our laboratory facilities.
I mean, like, we're not going to disrespect Boku.
We're not going to take anything out.
We're only going to add to it or enhance it in any way that's practical.
Yeah, and we embrace that opportunity, Mike.
You know, the flexibility is critical.
As you know, we've been tested recently here with these supply chain hiccups and being able to adapt and improvise, you know, on the spot is critical to surviving in this industry.
And there's also, you know, there's elements of seasonality that we've always endeavored to incorporate in our formulas as well.
I mean, these are natural products.
There are going to be some You know, variances in taste and texture, depending on all sorts of factors.
And, you know, we would love to have The ability to adapt.
We haven't really had it because it's very challenging.
You have to have your own facility.
You have to have your own team of experts on the spot, able to adapt to these challenges as they arise.
And I've seen it there at your facility, Mike, which, by the way...
I've toured an awful lot of these things over the years and we've actually built our own, which we're enormously proud of.
But what you've accomplished there, to walk through that spot and to see every piece of equipment looking as if it had just been unloaded and assembled, just absolutely spotless.
I expected nothing less, but I was still blown away.
And this is why I am so excited and again so honored with this partnership.
The ability to adapt and improvise, reformulate on the spot to, as you say, augment or enhance The existing Boku formulas, which are amazing, quite frankly.
The awareness that you have that laboratory in-house, that there's no monkey business.
And Mike, there's so much of that in this industry, I have to say.
It saddens me.
And it's not just this industry.
I mean, let's face it.
The lack of morals and ethics, consciousness and leadership throughout the world is appalling.
But in our industry, it's really no different.
There are just people out there that are just willing to take whatever shortcuts, willing to lie, to deceive, to make a buck.
And it's really disheartening.
And I've been through it.
We've made the partnerships.
We've gone on national television with the big publicly traded companies.
And You get to this point where you realize your partners just aren't who you thought they were, who you hope they were.
And it hasn't changed our behavior because we're steadfast in our commitment to the highest level of integrity possible.
But it is a bit discouraging when you realize what's really out there and then you compare that to you and Natural News and the Health Ranger.
We couldn't be in a better place.
Well, I know exactly what you're talking about because we've seen over the years where there were brands that were taken over by larger corporations, you know, an acquisition of a smaller brand.
And then the very first thing they tend to do, they reformulate it.
And then they cheapen it.
They water it down.
The ingredients become cheaper, less nutritious.
I've seen all kinds of shenanigans.
I've seen, you know, labeling fraud.
I've seen organic certificate fraud over and over again.
And as you probably know, We have to reject most of the lots of turmeric that we acquire, except from our trusted sources.
Anytime we go out and try to find turmeric or cinnamon or lots of different herbs, especially spices.
Moringa, for example.
Moringa almost always has lead in it.
And, you know, finding clean Moringa, you can't do it unless you're testing.
Like, you have to test.
And you have to constantly test.
You know, I've seen, Reno, I've seen companies in the past where...
They would test like one time and that's it for five years.
Like they tested one time and then like, ah, we're good.
But no, we test every production lot, every lot of raw material that gets tested.
I have, I mean, one of my lab chemists was actually complaining to me the other day that he spends literally 20 hours a week taking samples from our warehouse of incoming pallets.
Like 20 hours a week taking samples.
That's not even any lab time.
That's just, you know, getting the product out of the bags, putting them in vials, labeling them, putting them on the charts, and then taking them to the lab.
So, I mean, we have a team dedicated to this.
Now, before I get too geeky, let me mention on the Black Friday sale event that we have going on beginning November 9th, If you go to healthrangerstore.com slash Black Friday, and if you scroll down that page, you're going to see Boku Organic Super Protein Vanilla here and Superfood Daily.
That's Boku Superfood.
These are all certified organic, but we've got it at 40% off retail price here exclusively while supplies last.
And I want to mention to people, supplies will not last.
Very long.
And then there's going to be a wait time, I'm sorry to say, but we're putting together the new formulation instructions.
I mean, again, it's the same formula, but tweaked in whatever ways we can, and we'll be manufacturing, and that is going to take a couple of months.
So there's going to be a little bit of a Boku dry spell, just temporarily.
So if you want Boku, get it now while we have it.
Yeah, and we have the superfood and both flavors of the superprotein, but there are so many more.
And I'm really excited that, you know, down the line here, once we get past this little wall here, this gap, as you point out, Mike, we'll reintroduce Boku superfuel, our superfiber.
And I'm really excited about our supermeal replacement that Reno Jr.
created, which It's so next level.
I mean, it's just absolutely incredible.
75 different superfoods, 30 grams of plant-based protein.
And here's the most amazing thing.
So the nutritionals are off the charts, Mike.
And the way it makes you feel is like nothing else on the planet.
But it tastes, and people refer to it, they say it tastes like what's left in the bottom of a bowl of Lucky Charms or, you know, your favorite breakfast cereal.
And the ingredients that he uses, I can't wait to get him in here to interview with you, Mike, because, again, Reno Jr.
has become one of the industry's leading formulators and experts in this space, and it's you.
That inspired him down this path.
And it's you and your quality standards and your integrity that have inspired Reno and have led Reno Jr.
And I'm enormously proud of the person that he's become and the asset that he is to Boku.
And we'll prove that going forward.
The products that we have in stock right now, and I agree with you, Mike, they're going to go very quickly.
Super excited to introduce the full lineup of Boku products.
And these are the result, again, of 16 years of dedicated focus.
Focus on purely being the best and delivering to the customer the absolute best, which, in our estimation, they deserve nothing less.
I completely agree.
I mean, our customers...
Many of our customers are already your customers, and they have been for many years, and I hear positive feedback all the time about Boku's Hooper Food.
And I can't wait to launch these additional products with you, the meal replacement products and so on.
Let me plug something else that's going on right now for Black Friday.
Can you guys show my desk?
When people place an order of your Boku Superfood or anything else, if they place an order of $150 or more, we give them a free vial right there of the pine needle colloidal silver nasal spray.
Do you see that on the far left of the desk?
Now, Reno, you've got to come out with me.
And harvest pine needles from the loblolly pine trees in Central Texas.
It's an amazing experience.
I actually personally, with my wife, I harvested the pine needles that go into that spray.
We're not even selling it because we don't have enough.
We're only giving it away when people purchase something else.
But that, I mean, we harvested the pine needles, we washed them, we ground them, and then we did an ultrasonic extraction to get out the shikimic acid and the vitamin C that's naturally occurring in pine needles.
Shikimic acid, you know, is this amazing molecule.
And I was drinking that tea, man.
It was just like straight-up pine needle tea.
I couldn't get enough.
It was so delicious by itself.
And then we combined it with colloidal silver and some other ingredients for the nasal spray, and...
It coats the inside of your nasal passages.
And Reno, you would love this, number one.
And secondly, you've got to do this with us.
Remember when we were out in California and we were hiking that mountain that one time?
I don't know where you took me, but we were out hiking and having fun with nature and the herbs and everything.
You would enjoy this, harvesting pine needles.
Can we make that a calendar date right there?
Please do.
100%, Mike.
You know this is what we love to do.
I mean, we've been in the cranberry bogs in Quebec and all the way at 17,000 feet at the top of the Andes in Tarma cultivating and harvesting maca.
We love getting out in the field.
We love experiencing firsthand what it's like to shake the hands that farm the land to meet these beautiful people.
So that to me sounds super exciting.
And yeah, I'd be there in a second.
And by the way, The product sounds amazing.
I'm sitting here thinking, like, how good that must feel.
Oh, yeah.
Coating your sinuses.
And, oh, I can't even imagine.
And, by the way, I'm not sure if I mentioned this, I'm here in Pinehurst, North Carolina, with my daughter.
Oh, you are?
Yeah.
We are just surrounded.
And here the pine cones are absolutely massive.
And it's probably not coincidental.
My daughter is actually in the business of making soap from these beautiful pine needles.
I'm not even sure.
Yeah, yeah.
So you've touched home with that one, and I'd love to check out that product for sure.
Make some pine needle tea and drink it.
You know, the Native Americans, that's how they got vitamin C. Well, one of the ways...
It's a remarkable ingredient, isn't it?
I mean, even going back to like pine pollen, as I understand, is one of these ingredients high in phytotestosterone.
That's right.
It was one of the ingredients I think they originally brewed beer or mead or one of these alcoholic beverages back in the day.
I learned from my son, who's also an expert in fermentation.
He's a certified brewer and has been doing some amazing things with fermentation and creating beers from superfoods, which is pretty amazing.
But, yeah, Mike, I'm all over the pine thing, man.
Anytime, you just let me know.
And I know you know this.
Give me a time and place and I'll be there.
Yeah, that's true.
Yeah, well, we'll have to do that, and I'll bring a camera, we'll film that, we'll have some fun with that.
But that's what's so amazing about partnering with you on this.
And to my audience, Reno here, he doesn't just sit behind a desk and use a spreadsheet and order ingredients and put them together.
He's a guy that's out there in nature, experiencing the joy of nature, the discovery of it, trying different herbs, doing different things, engaging in different forms of physical fitness and exercise and all kinds of practices from faith to self-reflection, all kinds of things.
Reno, I see you as a whole person who is involved in whole foods nutrition.
This isn't just a shell for you.
You're not back at your house smoking cigarettes and drinking beer and watching daytime TV and faking like you're into superfoods.
No, you live this.
This is your life.
It truly is, Mike.
And because it brings me so much joy, what I really love...
Is sharing.
So, you know, Superfoods changed my life.
They changed my son's life.
And they've made such a positive difference for so many of our customers all over the world.
And this is what really excites me.
When I get turned on to something new, I immediately want to share it with other people.
And that's really been our mission at Boku.
Again, you helped to form those very high standards that we've worked very hard to maintain.
But it's really the secrets that nature has to share.
And that's what I love to do.
I love to communicate these secrets because there are so many of them.
And, you know, in a world where we live now where, you know, our food supply is so horribly adulterated and it's not about how good you feel or how long you live.
It's all about the money.
And, you know, I just love sharing the alternative that if you stay close to nature, And you maintain that curiosity and open-mindedness, you discover some incredibly powerful things.
And that's what I love to do.
I love to get out and I love to discover.
I love to honor nature.
And then I just love to share and have fun.
I mean, to me, it's fun making a positive difference for people.
When I hear the testimonials from people that have, whatever it is, whatever transformation they've experienced, that really fills my heart and it excites me.
And The idea that I could make a living doing this is beyond a blessing.
Well, you know, Reno, you've done so many things in your life, in your professional career, people probably have no idea.
You know, your former involvement in the film industry, for example, but you could have chosen to do anything.
You could have been, if it were your choice, you could have been a pharmaceutical executive, and you could have probably made, you know, half a billion dollars.
That's not your passion.
You don't want to make money for people popping pills.
And neither do I. I mean, you notice those chasing the money, they go down the route of pharma.
Because pharma gets money from the government and then hands out whatever, whether it's vaccines or pills or whatever.
And then, you know, they get fined for, you know, faking scientific studies or price fixing and whatever.
They pay a fine.
They just keep going.
That model, that's so unfulfilling.
I couldn't live my life that way, no matter how much money is involved.
In fact, my wife just said last night, we were in our kitchen Which is a very modest kitchen.
Nothing fancy about the way we live.
And she was unwrapping a box from our store of some of our superfoods.
And she said to me, this is real wealth, Mike.
This is real wealth.
Because there are billionaires that don't have this.
This nutrition.
This food.
So true.
Go ahead.
I was just going to say, Mike.
Or the awareness.
It's remarkable how Really seemingly super intelligent people pop pills and eat processed garbage and wonder why they're sick and diseased and needing these pharmaceutical drugs.
But, Mike, I can say the same thing about you.
It's really about selling out.
And to me, if you're a person of integrity and you commit to something, you stick with it.
It's like, you know, I can shake your hand and I know there's no going back.
You know, you're a guy that probably says no a lot, maybe says maybe.
But when you say yes, it's because you've thought it through and commitment means a lot to you.
And you're a guy that I look up to because, Mike, what you've done is nothing short of miraculous.
I mean, you and I have a lot in common, but I've made some of the mistakes that somehow you've managed to avoid.
You know, I've gone to institutional banking.
I've gone down that path where I was financed into dead ends.
I've made those partnerships with major publicly traded companies.
To your point earlier, I've had so many different career opportunities, but I refuse to sell out.
And the minute I sniff that sort of deception or lack of integrity, and Mike, I have to tell you and to your viewers and readers, it's out there, man.
And sometimes it'll shock you.
The people you think would be of the highest integrity, the most honest, the most sincere, it'll just shock you.
They're out there and they're out there everywhere.
You've been approached many times, I think I can say this, to basically sell out your formula and water it down and make it cheap.
But you've said no to that, deliberately.
And if I said yes, I'd have plenty of money.
And honestly, that's a conversation I've had with the family multiple times.
Guys, if we take this deal, we're going to be set.
We'll have plenty of money.
We'll ride off into the sunset.
However, everything we've dedicated our lives to will be washed down the drain.
Our ingredients are going to be sourced in places that we don't buy ingredients from.
The formulas will be watered down.
It's not going to be about quality and functionality.
It's all going to be about the money.
I'm really proud to say that my kids, and I've raised them, as I said before, are influenced largely by people like you, Mike, where I try to instill in them The values that drive people like you and I, integrity, honor, honesty, love, compassion, etc.
And I'm enormously proud that my kids, they don't even hesitate.
I have raised some really quality people and they're integral to our family business.
So, yeah, there are a lot of temptations out there.
But, you know, Shay, you mentioned your wife mentioned this and I actually got goosebumps when you said it.
That is true wealth.
You know, those foods, those beautiful natural secrets.
I mean, I measure wealth that way.
I measure wealth not only in our awareness that those ingredients exist, but the fact that we've been able to bring them together in a way that people enjoy them and then share them with as many people as we possibly can.
And that's always been our mission.
Our mission has always been to make a positive difference for as many people as possible.
And that's probably the main reason, Mike, why we're so honored and so grateful for this opportunity to come full circle back to you and leverage this amazing platform that you've built to get the Word of Boku out there and get these products in as many people's bodies as possible.
Well, I'm just thrilled to be working with you and that you're trusting us with your formula, with the manufacturing, the sourcing, the lab testing, all of that.
And of course, as you know, I can't wait for you to come back out and tour the facility, especially as we're fulfilling your new product line.
You'll get to see it hands-on.
And let me just mention again one more time, while inventory lasts, the Boku superfood products and the Boku superproteins will be available at healthrangerstore.com.
And during our Black Friday event, which begins November 9th, and it runs for four days, you can get them for 40% off.
But that's only while supplies last, which won't be very long.
After that, we'll be manufacturing...
There might be, I don't know, a 60-day delay or whatever it is.
Maybe 90.
I don't know.
Maybe less.
But we'll have brand new lots produced soon, and then that will be an ongoing production, so you won't run out at that point.
Now, Reno, we have to get your son, Reno Jr., out here, and I suggest we do a smoothie challenge.
Okay.
So you bring Reno out, and it'll be Reno Jr.
versus the Health Ranger.
And I actually think he'll win, by the way, but I'm willing to have a go at it.
I'll do my recipes.
We'll have, like, a couple of blenders here, okay?
Okay.
Let's do side-by-side blenders, and then we'll have some taste judges here.
In the audience here.
So Reno Jr.
can blend and then I'll blend.
Audience will taste and rate it.
And then we'll do that a few times and see who wins the smoothie challenge.
Does that sound good?
Well, you know, Mike, you know I love a challenge.
Absolutely.
I have to say, though, we have a slight advantage because, as you pointed out earlier, we have opened a cafe in Ojai, California, and so we have an amazing experience to deal directly with the public, which has really yielded tremendous smoothie recipes.
We're pretty darn good at smoothies.
I know you are.
I know.
I'm at a severe handicap on this one.
You're going to have to give me extra points.
Well, I'm happy to do that.
I'm happy to offer a handicap if that's what it takes.
But it'll be super fun, and there will be no losers in this challenge, which is also very exciting.
That's true.
We get to drink all the losing results anyway.
Unlike the last time, I think you challenged me to a half-mile race or something.
I forget.
That was many, many years ago.
And, you know, I think there was a winner and a loser in that one.
But I can tell you now, I won't be quick to accept that challenge.
I was wiped out after that.
I still remember that race, and I was completely wiped out.
As was I. No, we both left it all on the track.
Yeah, but you have long legs, man.
I have long legs.
You're a tall guy with long legs.
You have this, like, eight-foot stride or something.
I felt like I was racing a giant.
Well, you know, many people don't know this, but I grew up running track with none other than Carl Lewis.
No way.
Yeah.
I mean, when I was a kid growing up in Willingboro, New Jersey, his mother and father founded the Willingboro Track Club.
So I began running track with Carl, his sister Carol, his brothers Cleve and Mack when...
When I was nine or ten years old.
Well, that must have been crazy to try to run and compete with Carl Lewis.
I mean, how do you?
Well, you know, I'll tell you, Mike, it actually, the experience shaped my life.
You know, when I was very young, when they started track, you know, my mom would put us in anything to keep us busy.
And so we started running track.
I had no idea whether I could run or not.
And I immediately figured out that I could not run.
And I honestly thought there was something wrong with me because I was running against Carl and his family.
And, you know, it started out, we were running, at that time it was yards.
So we were running the 100-yard dash track.
the 220 yard dash and the 440.
And going through these races, they were like, you know, half the distance ahead of me.
There was just no competition whatsoever.
And I wasn't very happy about it.
I wasn't enjoying it very much.
And then one morning, you know, at track practice, Mrs.
Lewis announced, we're going to run the 880.
So I was able to run the numbers in my head and figured, well, if 440 is one lap, 880 must be two.
And so I lined up, and one thing I found exciting was that We didn't start in the blocks.
I was never a sprinter, and the blocks to me were very awkward.
So this race, we started standing, which somehow I felt was good.
I felt there was an advantage somehow.
I liked that I didn't have to get in the blocks.
So we took off.
The gun went off, and I just did what I always did.
I just ran as fast and as hard as I could.
And of course, Carl was half the distance around the track ahead of me.
But I just kept driving, kept pumping my arms, and kept running.
Something miraculous happened after the first lap.
And no, he didn't fall.
But he slowed down considerably.
And that inspired me to drive harder and run faster.
And Mike, eventually, I ended up catching him and passing him.
Well, he's a sprinter.
He's not a distance guy.
He ran out of gas.
Yeah.
And, you know, I have this sort of mantra, you know, life's a two-lap race.
Just don't quit.
And so, you know, that experience really did.
But so, anyway, you were at a slight disadvantage in the foot race, I have to admit.
But, you know, who knows?
These days, you'd probably smoke me.
Well, no, but I'll be at a disadvantage in the smoothie competition here as well.
But I'm willing to do it in the interest of public health and entertainment as well.
I'm willing to get clobbered here.
Well, and for the customers, because I think you'll find that, you know, one of the things we'll do together with you is to offer these smoothie formulas, all powders, that we've created and perfected in the cafe as items for the Health Ranger store, which would also be amazing, super exciting.
Okay, but if I lose, then we have to have a jujitsu match after that.
If you insist.
But, you know, I've never practiced jujitsu, and that's a really, really tough discipline.
That's my point.
Okay, so...
No, I'm not that good at jujitsu either.
I get completely destroyed by any expert in jujitsu.
But that's an art where if you don't know what you're doing, you just get clobbered.
I can only imagine.
I guess it's like that in boxing or martial arts of any kind.
If you're a newbie to boxing, you're going to get destroyed, you know?
Yeah, jujitsu is just a different sport altogether.
I mean, my son-in-law practiced jujitsu and I remember him describing it to me and he said, well, you know how chiropractors kind of move your body?
To help you feel good?
And I said, yeah.
He says, well, jujitsu is like the opposite of that.
True.
True.
And so, you know, I'll have to think about that challenge and maybe warm up a little.
Well, jujitsu is a thinking person's game.
It's all mental.
It's mental strategy, actually, and then your body just follows through.
But if you're not sharp up here, you can't do anything in jujitsu.
Makes sense.
And if you have your mental faculties and you know how physiology works, you can beat people that are much larger and much stronger than you, and we've seen that time and time again.
We've seen it over and over, yeah.
But isn't this the same with nutrition?
Like, if you know nutrition, you can do with a small amount of superfood That it bypasses or it transcends what people could do with a whole grocery basket full of processed food that's got no nutrition.
It's the same thing.
Nutrition.
That's a great point.
It's a thinking person's game.
I'd take one scoop of our Boku Superfood over every medicine cabinet in America.
Exactly.
Put it that way, for sure.
Agree completely.
Exactly.
My medicine cabinet is all unused emergency antibiotics and things that I've never touched, but like I have them in case society breaks down and the pharmacies don't function.
Like, yeah, I have antibiotics.
Yeah, I've got ivermectin.
Yeah, I've got hydroxychloroquine.
You know, all legal, right?
All prescription.
Well, maybe not all the ivermectin.
Some of that I bought for my ranch animals.
But it's mostly just sitting there, like, forever unused.
Because that's not what I reach for.
Well, and thank God you don't have to.
No, I mean, even, Rena, when I almost severed my index finger here, I told you about this, I almost lost my finger earlier this year.
And I have never once taken a painkiller for that.
I mean, I severed tendons, nerves, blood vessels, everything.
And then I used nutrition to grow it back to the point where now I actually have double the nervous system sensitivity on this fingertip.
It's crazy.
Yeah.
No, it grew back at 200% sensitivity.
Wow.
I would venture to guess there's no drug that could have done that.
Well, it's called lion's mane mushroom.
I started growing lion's mane mushroom, and then I would take a chunk of the mushroom and I put it in the smoothie.
And I've been drinking lion's mane since early June of this year.
And then I find out lion's mane also restores your nervous system.
And neurogeneration in your brain.
And so I started studying the Rubik's Cube now, you know, and I've memorized like 41 algorithms on this cube at this point.
And I'm doing like sub one minute solves.
And I didn't think that I could still do that kind of thing.
You're under a minute?
You're under a minute?
Oh, yeah.
Oh, wow.
Okay, cool.
Constantly, yeah.
Yeah.
My daughter's pretty good, too, with the Rubik's Cube.
But, you know, these mushrooms, I'm so glad you mentioned that because, you know, we were the first, I'm pretty sure, you know, back in 2007 when we launched Boku to include a broad-spectrum blend.
At that time, it was 14 functional mushrooms.
Yes.
This space was and where it would eventually lead.
I'm just so glad you mentioned it because if I were to pick one category in the superfood space, it is these mushrooms.
In our super shape, the superfood meal replacement we talked about, we have a blend of 20 functional mushrooms.
We just keep hearing miraculous stories about what these mushrooms are capable of.
Your index finger injury is just another one of those stories.
It almost boggles the mind when you think about the potential.
And then you think about how many people aren't aware and what the opportunity there is for you and I to reach out to these people.
Again, sharing these natural secrets.
Mushrooms.
No, not mushroom soup, not the kind of mushrooms that you find on top of a salad.
These are incredible gifts from nature that have incredible, potent healing potential.
That's another area that we look forward to exploring further and getting some focus on with you going ahead.
That's what's amazing, you know, with mushrooms.
So you have fungi that synthesize medicine.
They synthesize molecules.
And of course, being fungi, they don't even use photosynthesis, right?
So they're synthesizing molecules that are extremely potent.
I mean, for example, think of psilocybin, you know, like so-called shrooms mushrooms.
If anybody thinks mushrooms aren't potent, you know, look at psilocybin, right?
Right.
And yet, also in the photosynthesis category of plants, which can be superfoods and seaweeds and, you know, microalgae as well, chlorella, spirulina, astaxanthin, and so on, if you think about it, these plants are synthesizing medicinal molecules by using nothing other than, number one, carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.
Sunlight for energy and water and minerals through the root system.
And using just that, they can break the bonds of hydrogen and oxygen in water and they can then recombine the hydrogen from water with carbon from carbon dioxide and they can make vitamin C out of H, C, and O. Hydrogen, carbon, and oxygen.
If you go look up vitamin C, it's nothing but those three elements.
Unbelievable.
Isn't it?
Yeah, it really is.
Or anti-cancer compounds like sulforaphane that's in broccoli, for example, broccoli sprouts.
Guess what?
The broccoli seed doesn't really contain much sulforaphane, but you sprout it, suddenly the sulforaphane is much, much higher.
Where did it come from?
Is it magic?
No, the plant synthesized sulforaphane out of air and water.
It's like, holy cow, this is a miracle.
It is a miracle.
It's a miracle that people just overlook it.
Or they just don't know about it, or there's not enough funding for science to further explore.
The money's going to all the wrong places, it seems.
And there's just so much out there that...
It's yet to be discovered.
So much that we don't know.
It's the old adage, the more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.
It's so exciting to me to continue down this path and to continue learning more from people like you, Mike.
I remember learning recently about the history of mushrooms and psychedelics and how they may have shaped mushrooms.
You know, our, you know, early history, the brains of early man.
And if you think and you believe some of these theories, which to me make an awful lot of sense, it really is exciting to think about the potential going forward, you know, in the future.
You're talking about the field of ethnomedicine.
Ethnomedicine.
Yeah, the interaction of plant molecules with human tribes or civilizations have shaped our history.
In fact, humanity cannot be separated from the medicinal plants that did shape our history.
It's extraordinary.
Ethnobotanical medicine specifically, right?
You look at the indigenous medicine, which currently represents about 80% of the medicine that's practiced around the world is ethnobotanical medicine.
You know, it's an aberration.
For the Western world to turn to synthetic pharmaceutical production.
Most of the world does not.
I mean, you go to India, you go to China, you go to Nigeria.
Those are the three of the biggest, most populous countries in the world.
They're not popping pills all day.
For the most part, they're using ethnobotanical medicine.
Not to mention Central and South America, the Middle East, you know, Russia.
I mean, Eastern Europe, all over the world.
Aborigines in Australia, you know, you name it.
Yeah, so many of us have just become cogs in this profit machine, and we've abandoned the responsibility actually to think for ourselves, to do a little research, to peel the layers back, you know, to read past the point where you might agree with something.
And it's really a shame because I think it's thwarted so much in the way of potential progress because I'm one of these people that believe we've only scratched the surface when we talk about things like fungi and the potential in medicine, the potential to really make a positive difference for people.
A lot of these diseases, a lot of the problems we brought on ourselves And yet nature is still there by our side to help us through them.
If we would just open our eyes, open our minds, and, you know, once in a while look down, you know, at the earth.
And again, you know, with that curiosity, what might be there?
What might be there to help me, to help others?
But we'll get there, Mike.
You know, and again, it's people like you, your tireless work, your effort.
It's just...
It's really incredible what you've achieved and your dedication to making a positive difference for the world, for people on the planet.
I can't say enough about how honored I am, how much I love you, brother, and how honored I am to be a part of your journey going forward and how excited I am with the prospects of what we might achieve.
Well, I'm really glad you mentioned that.
And our slogan is healing the world through clean food, right?
And by food, it also encompasses nutrition and superfood, obviously, but healing the world through clean food.
And right now, as you know, Reno, as we are recording this, there's war in the Middle East.
There's war in Ukraine and Russia.
There are people suffering and people dying, and there are people dying right here at home in the United States from a lack of nutrition.
You know, there are nutrient-depleted children that, I mean, practically they have rickets, or in some cases even scurvy, which is easily solvable, you know, with vitamin C or vitamin D in the case of rickets.
But I believe that humanity can achieve health, wealth, abundance, freedom, joy.
And that nutrition is a key pillar for that.
It can't solve everything.
You know, there's more to life than just nutrition.
But when we are exposed to poisons, environmental toxins, and lack of nutrition, lack of minerals, lack of phytonutrients, that causes mental instability.
That causes violence.
I mean, most of our prisoner population is nutrient deficient or sometimes metals poisoned.
And when we can provide clean foods to the world, we actually, Reno, together, we contribute to peace, abundance, liberty, and joy.
That's what I care about.
And I agree with you 100%.
I've always felt that way, that nutrition is part of that vital foundation.
Without it, you know, you're building, your life is a house of cards.
And while you may drive a fancy car and wear great clothes and, you know, have a fancy watch and everything, I mean, eventually it's going to come tumbling down.
You're going to end up on that gurney.
And that's a terrible place to be for anyone.
But especially children, like you mentioned, prisoners, nutrient deficient.
I mean, the garbage that we feed our kids.
Yeah, in the schools.
In the schools and pulling into fast food restaurants all the time.
I mean, look, I understand that you have to live life, right?
There's no panacea.
There's no utopia.
I mean, life is life and it's going to come straight at you.
It's going to punch you between the eyes.
It happens all the time.
But there are things that we can do for ourselves and certainly things that we can do for our children to prepare them for those challenges.
Because while there are challenges and they're going to continue to come, life is beautiful.
It's amazing.
And it's so much better when you feel good.
And that begins with nutrition.
I really do believe that.
And I agree with you 100% that without that, all the bad stuff is possible.
I really look forward to sharing this journey with you of how we can help People heal themselves with these miracle nutrients of Mother Nature that you've tapped into for 16 years or longer and that now we are embracing with the Boku Superfood brand.
We're going to together help a lot of people, frankly, heal themselves.
I mean, God and Mother Nature provided these molecules.
We're just harnessing them.
I completely agree.
Mike, everything you're saying resonates with me.
I completely agree with it all.
It's exciting.
The prospects of what we're going to do together, this for our family business, which has always been dedicated to making a positive difference for people, for the planet, and at the same time having fun, you know, having fun doing it.
This curiosity that lives in me is the same that I've had since I was a little kid.
You know, I forget who it was that said it takes a long time to grow young.
And I'm 62 years old now.
I keep growing younger.
Thanks to partnerships like this with you and friendships like the one I've had with you for so many years, I stay curious.
And I just want to go out there and keep learning and keep discovering things.
And keep sharing.
And, you know, now we've done an awful lot in the past together, Mike, and I'm super excited about what we might achieve going forward.
This is going to be awesome.
Well, and also since now your operation, you can focus on new formulations because you don't have to worry about manufacturing.
Exactly.
Our team is doing that.
So I think you're going to be even more productive, actually, at coming up with amazing things.
And for Lynn, my beautiful wife and partner, co-founder of Boku, who's been, you know, in the drudgery of, you know, operations and having to go out and source and buy and manage the books and the business.
You know, that part of the business, that's not so much fun.
It's huge.
And without it, we wouldn't have made it 16 years to this point.
But you're right.
Going forward, we'll be free to focus on the things that really bring us joy and also very important aspects of the business.
And so super, super excited.
Beyond excited, Mike.
I'm out of words, man.
I don't even know what to say other than thank you and hold on to your hats because this is going to be one hell of a ride.
Mike, you and I have done some awesome stuff in the past.
I reflect on the work we've done exposing heavy metals and proteins, just introducing superfoods.
I've watched you grow this empire.
It's super exciting.
I'm just...
I don't know what else to say other than I'm enormously grateful, and this is going to be one hell of a ride.
Yeah, it certainly is.
Well, we're going to have a lot of fun doing this, and we're going to help a lot of people, and so I'm just thrilled to do this.
Thank you for taking the time with me, especially, I know I kind of made this an extended interview, but I always have fun.
Just rapping with you about what's going on.
And I want the audience to know who you are and what you stand for.
Because that matters.
It's not just a commodity product that we're talking about here.
These are infused with the spirit of the people that stand behind these.
Whether it's me or you or your family, Reno.
And that really, really matters.
And the fact that you've refused to compromise.
You never sold out.
You never watered it down.
And now partnering with us, people know our principles, and they know that I can't be compromised in those principles either.
This is the best of both worlds, and we're just thrilled to partner with you.
Thank you, Mike.
Thank you very much.
All right.
Well, thank you for taking the time.
Take care, Reno.
We'll talk again soon.
And go out and sign up for a jiu-jitsu class.
I better.
I think I might.
You know, it's something I've often tempted, I've often wanted to do.
You'd be good at it.
You have long legs, remember?
Yeah.
You'd put people in arm bars and neck chokes.
Seriously, you'd be really good at jiu-jitsu.
Well, you know, I'll definitely give it a look, especially knowing there may be a challenge coming up.
Yeah.
Just remember, when you get them in the triangle with your legs, remember, one arm is in your legs and your victim's other arm is out.
So you got a head and an arm caught between your leg triangle and their other arm is out.
Then you tighten that sucker down, lights out.
Sounds like painful fun.
Yeah, yeah.
Oh, look.
Look who's here.
My sparring partner right here, Rhody.
Hey, Rhody.
How you doing?
Oh, no kidding.
Hey, Rhody.
I remember that guy.
He plays a totally different game called See How Fast You Can Run From Me.
And how many rings I can hold in my mouth at once and how high I can jump.
That's an amazing animal.
You know, since meeting Rhodey, I actually had to go watch a bunch of YouTube videos on that Belgian Malinois.
An amazing app.
You know, I love dogs so much.
He wants to chew on something.
Maybe my fingers.
Who knows?
But he definitely wants to go play.
I'm going to have to do that, obviously, or he's not going to let me alone.
But he's a big fan of everything that we're doing.
He gets the best nutrition as well.
Yeah.
Okay.
Okay, Rhodey.
Chill out.
Okay.
It's time.
We'll see you later, Reno.
Hey, Mike.
Thanks again, brother.
Look forward to seeing you again real soon.
Okay.
You too.
Take care.
All the best.
Bye-bye.
And for all of you watching, thanks for watching today.
Brighttown.com, of course, the platform here for more interviews.
And then check out HealthRangerStore.com.
Search for Boku Superfood.
That's B-O-K-U. And we have some inventory available now.
That will be gone soon.
And then we'll have brand new inventory all throughout 2024 and beyond.

It's a combination of coconut water powder, certified organic, and Aquaman, which is a mineral supplement that has some very special, unique properties.
This is about mineral replenishment and hydration.

It's a very delicious trail mix, and it's not just a bunch of junk and a bunch of crumbs and byproducts of nut processing.
This is a high-end trail mix, all certified organic, all lab-tested, Including for glyphosate and heavy metals and more.
Check it out at healthrangerstore.com.
You're really going to enjoy this.
And then finally in the middle there we have something brand new that I'm super excited about.
It's a pine needle nasal spray.
And that's in the green little small vials there with the nasal spray aerosolized tip on the top.
I personally harvested the pine needles for this.
In Texas, there are loblolly pine trees because the pine needles are extremely high in shikemic acid.
And then I oversaw the extraction of the shikemic acid and then the mixing of that into this formula.
You can read the ingredients on our website.
But this product is not being sold.
It's only available for free as a bonus giveaway during our Black Friday sale event that's coming up.
And watch for that.
Join our email list.
You'll get the announcements.
You get all the links to participate in that.
and that the only way that you can get that nasal spray with the shikimic acid using pine needles that I personally harvested in Texas is through the Black Friday event at healthrangerstore.com.
And during that event, by the way, it's our biggest sale of the year.
We're going to have the most products on discount, all kinds of amazing discounts, including on third-party products that are drop-shipped and so on.
It's, wait till you see the catalog and the landing page for that.
It's going to be quite impressive.
But you definitely want to take advantage of that and get some of this pine needle nasal spray.
And look up shikimic acid too, because that's the molecule that is used to make Tamiflu, by the way.
Very interesting fact.
Also, one more thing.
On our website, healthrangerstore.com, we now have available certified organic heavy cream powder.
We've got it in pouches and number 10 cans.
And this heavy cream powder is, of course, laboratory verified.
It's tested for heavy metals and glyphosate and microbiology as well.
And there's no junk in here.
It's literally powdered heavy cream.
It's not just maltodextrin and a bunch of garbage with cream flavor.
None of that stuff.
This is the real deal.
That's why it's not cheap, by the way.
But if you want to add to your food storage pantry...
Heavy cream.
This goes a long way.
And we also have, by the way, we have now organic white cheddar cheese powder also in number 10 cans and pouches as well.
So you can make your own macaroni and cheese pretty easily by combining this cheese powder with the organic cream powder and some salt and pepper and some onion powder and get yourself some, you know, organic macaroni.
