I've decided to address today the theory floating around out there that some people believe the coronavirus is, in their view, a hoax.
Now, I put these people in the same category as Flat Earth folks for reasons I will discuss here, not to be condescending or insulting.
And in fact, there's a very healthy process of questioning everything, asking big questions and being skeptical of anything that comes out of so-called authoritative sources.
I understand that process.
I've been one of the pioneers of demonstrating that over the last 20 years in independent media.
But I'm seeing an interesting divergence even among people in the independent media.
Some are going the direction of, yes, this is real.
It's going to be bad.
And then others are going in the direction of that they think it's not real, that the whole thing in their minds is a hoax, that somehow the globalists are faking this to try to bring in medical martial law.
When there's no real reason to do so, in their view.
At least I think that's what they're explaining.
Some people are saying this is just 5G. Other people are saying it's just chemtrails, that everybody's dying from being chemtrailed, and so on and so forth.
My own view, as you probably know, is that this is a real virus.
It is really replicating.
This is a global pandemic.
The mainstream media downplayed it at first, and now the left-wing media in America is trying to hype it up in order to hurt Trump.
So the left-wing media can never be trusted.
The CDC can never be trusted.
The FDA can never be trusted.
Even the big bailout that was just passed, $8.5 billion, is mostly just a bunch of handouts to big pharma and the vaccine industry.
And arguably, I've been one of the loudest voices questioning the vaccine industry and big pharma and CDC over the years.
So some people have said, well, why do you agree with the CDC now?
I don't.
The CDC has been lying to us the whole time.
Except for Nancy Messonnier, she did admit a couple of true things early on, like the CDC test kits failed, but...
In terms of the overall CDC, I believe that it's a criminal enterprise and that they deliberately made sure no testing was taking place in America so that they could allow the virus to spread in order to hurt Trump.
That's my theory.
Now, what's interesting about all these theories is that none of us lives in The real world exactly.
We live in mental constructs, models of the world around us.
And this is true whether you're a progressive or a conservative or an academic, a scientist, or I don't know, a poet, whatever.
You have a mental construct of the world.
And this mental construct is a shorthand.
It's a model of what you think is happening in the real world, but it's not an accurate representation.
And this is the first important point for all of us to understand.
No one's mental model is 100% accurate.
Everybody takes mental shortcuts.
In fact, as human beings, we're pre-wired to take those mental shortcuts.
Now, for example, some people...
A lot of people are wired to just go with the herd.
Now, I own goats, and goats are—they eat grass and leaves and things, and goats are usually preyed upon by other aggressive meat-eating animals like coyotes and such.
So goats know that there's safety in numbers.
And the worst thing for a goat is to be by themselves, to be alone.
That freaks them out.
They start crying if that happens, if they get stuck behind a fence while the others are on the other side or something.
They freak out.
Goats want to be with the herd because there's survival in numbers.
Most human beings are wired like goats or sheep, which is why we call them sheeple.
They just want to go with the herd.
Most human beings have no independent thought capabilities whatsoever.
None.
They think they do.
Because they're told things like, be yourself, be an individual, but you're only allowed to be an individual if you do so in an obedient way to the, for example, transgenderism agenda.
You're allowed to be an individual as long as you conform to their obedience group.
Understand?
You're not allowed to have individual thoughts or individual speech like I do.
I'm an original thinker.
That's why I set trends.
I create ideas, new ideas.
And not that many people in society are like us, you and me.
I mean, you're probably in the same group as me.
We are original thinkers.
That's why we read independent media.
That's why we tend to be pioneers in our own areas of influence.
Most people are not like that.
Most people are living in delusional mental constructs.
And some of that is even true among the independent media.
So some people in the independent media, their construct tells them that everything from official sources is a lie.
They're going to go with the exact opposite.
So if the mainstream media says the coronavirus is bad, they're going to go with the exact opposite.
They're going to say it's not bad.
But if the mainstream media says that the coronavirus is no problem, then they're going to say, oh, it's horrible.
And that's their construct, just the opposite of whatever the media says.
Okay, that's a shortcut.
It's a shortcut mechanism.
Oftentimes it's right because the media lies so much that you can often just say the opposite of whatever the media says, and you're going to be right.
Media says there's no problem in the stock market.
There's probably a problem in the stock market.
The media says that Joe Biden is an awesome ethical person.
Probably he's a crooked criminal con artist.
You know what I mean?
So that shortcut makes sense, and that's for a lot of cases, but not all.
And the problem people get into when they take these mental shortcuts is that they forget to apply original thinking to their model.
So they believe in their mental model wholeheartedly.
They forget to question their mental model.
So, for example, a lot of people's mental model is that the media always tells the truth.
So those people, when 9-11 happened, those people believed everything the media told them.
Oh my gosh!
This was a surprise attack.
Oh my gosh!
Only two towers fell.
They don't even know about the third building.
They don't even know because the media never told them.
Oh my gosh, that passport that fell from the building that somehow survived being burned up in the fireball.
Passport identified one of the hijackers because it flew out of his pocket even though he was burned alive.
And it fell onto the sidewalk and it was discovered by a police officer.
Okay, whatever.
The media reports that stuff.
The average person who has that model of just gullibility, that's their model, they believe that.
And so they think, they believe the official story of 9-11, which is so absurd, it's dumber than the flat earth theory.
You have to be insane to believe the government's official story of 9-11, because it violates every law of physics known to modern science.
In fact, the flat earth theory makes more sense than the government's official 9-11 story.
Just to be clear.
Just to be clear.
But the point is that people have different mental models and take different shortcuts, but a lot of times people are wrong.
So then when it comes to this coronavirus, people are taking shortcuts and not thinking about it for themselves.
So a lot of people are taking a shortcut.
Oh, the media says it's bad.
Must be a hoax.
But they forget that the media at first was downplaying it and saying it didn't exist.
See, the media switched gears as soon as they figured out they could use it to hurt Trump.
So then a lot of people are not sure exactly what they should believe.
And that's what drives me nuts about people sometimes, is that they always look to somebody else to decide what to believe.
Instead of thinking for themselves, you should think for yourself.
Figure it out.
It's not that difficult.
Would China be faking a total national collapse of their output?
Somehow to embarrass Trump or something?
No, of course not.
Would Italy fake this?
Would South Korea fake this?
Are they faking all the quarantine centers and all the hospitals and all the dead bodies all over Germany and France and Singapore and Iran?
Why would Iran fake this?
What's Iran got to do with this global conspiracy that is imagined by people who think this whole thing is fake?
It makes no sense.
There is no massive global conspiracy where you could sign up Iran and South Korea and Italy and Mexico and China and Japan, too, and all these other countries and recruit some cruise ships to play a part of the theater or something.
No, it's absurd!
It's absurd!
And people have forgotten how to think.
So they just tell themselves, well, it must be a hoax, and then they try to find evidence that it's a hoax in their minds, and they forget to look at reality.
Oh my gosh, people are really dying.
Oh my gosh, economies are really shutting down.
People are really being sent home from work by the hundreds of thousands now.
Schools are really closing.
People are really dying.
Nursing homes are really infected.
So There are people who just say, they're not, they just refuse to accept reality.
Now, let's talk about the Flat Earth Movement, because it's actually highly relevant to this.
I've been invited many times to debate Flat Earthers, and I never do, because in order to debate somebody on something, both parties first have to agree on some basic constructs of reality.
So, for example, we can't debate anything unless we speak some common language and have some common understanding about the way the world works around us.
Well, flat earthers have invented their own replacement alternative laws of physics.
They don't believe in gravity, for example, because once you accept gravity, then the flat earth theory makes no sense.
So they explain the tides with things like electromagnetism, like the sun is pushing water with magnetic energy.
I don't know exactly what they say, but it doesn't make any sense because they have an alternative view of physics where they invent their own physical imaginary laws.
And so they've created a mental construct for themselves.
And in their mental construct, the sun and the moon are really close to the earth in their view.
They're kind of disks in the sky that are always the same distance from the surface of the flat earth in their view.
That's their model.
And they say that the sun never really goes away over the horizon.
They say it just gets really far away.
So it appears to be dark, but it's not really, I don't know.
They have to invent a lot of weird models to explain that.
Because, you know, you can look at the night sky, and you can see stars, but you can have a friend that's on the other side of the planet 12 hours later, you know, in Australia or whatever, and they look at the night sky, they see the southern cross, totally different stars, so obviously you're on different sides of a giant sphere, but the flat earthers have some explanation for that that makes no sense.
So they have to have alternative physics.
And so it's easy for people to get trapped in these alternative universes of bizarre physics and bizarre realities.
And we're starting to see that with this coronavirus where people are telling themselves that they think there's no virus or they think that all the tests somehow are faked, even in Iran and Egypt somehow.
Like, why would Iran sign up for that giant false flag?
That makes no sense.
What would Iran do that for?
So what I implore you to do We're good to go.
Okay, fine, but some people out there questioning gravity, and questioning electromagnetism, and questioning the laws of chemistry, and the laws of biology, and the laws of genetic replication with RNA strands.
Okay, whatever.
Yeah, you can make up your own fantasy land, but that's not real.
That's your fairy tale.
That's your alternative universe, and people can live in that, but that's not going to work for you in the real world.
That's all I'm saying.
If you're going to try to navigate what's happening in reality, then yes, question everything, but apply real critical thinking that's consistent with the known laws of the universe, whether those laws are biology, Virology, mathematics, exponential spread of infectious disease, whether the laws are physics or electromagnetism, whether the laws are chemistry or physiology or genetics, what have you.
Make sure that what you decide to believe is consistent with the laws of reality.
Otherwise, you will have a bad day and a bad outcome.
Because the more that your belief system diverges from reality, the worse your outcome gets.
On the other hand, the more that your belief system is congruent with reality, the better results you're going to get.
And that's my job, is to help you see the real world, actual reality as close as we can get to it, which is why I bring you this kind of transparency and encourage you to think for yourself And I have projections and mathematical models, but I show you the math.
I show you where this is going so that you can decide what to accept or what to reject on your own, because I want you to be an active participant in deciding where you think this is going.
But don't get the wrong answer here.
If you get the wrong answer, you might die.
And a lot of people are going to die because they can't think anymore.
If you want to live, it's important to be correct.
That's probably, we should make a bumper sticker.
If you want to live, be correct about the virus.
So there you go.
That's the bottom line.
Mike Adams here, pandemic.news.
Look, I support everybody's freedom and creativity and independent thinking, and I love all different kinds of diverse ideas, but most of them are false.
And when it comes to a pandemic, it's important to actually Be correct in a way that's congruent with reality.
And that's what I'm trying to bring you at Pandemic.News.
So thanks for listening.
