| Okay, this is Mike Adams here, the founder of Natural News, Wednesday, January 22nd, with an update on the emergency situation that we are continuing to experience, which is why we cannot post new content at the moment. | |
| I'm going to explain exactly what's happening, but just understand the context here. | |
| We live in a world where the governments of the world are working to criminalize journalism. | |
| The Intercept's founder, Glenn Greenwald, has just been criminally charged by the government of Brazil for carrying out acts of journalism, no less. | |
| I mean, think about this. | |
| Julian Assange is still imprisoned. | |
| They are torturing that man to death because he engaged in journalism. | |
| And I just learned this morning that the Democrats of Virginia are now trying to pass a new law that would criminalize any criticism of government leaders in the state of Virginia. | |
| So you could not write that Governor Northam is a blackface, coon man, baby killer, which is actually a very accurate description of who he is. | |
| You know, that's, what a sicko. | |
| But if you're a citizen of Virginia and you say those words, you could go to jail. | |
| This is, the tyranny is coming down like never before. | |
| America is being transformed into a giant prison camp, like communist China. | |
| And Virginia is kind of the pilot program now to see if they can criminalize both the First and Second Amendments. | |
| And believe me, they are, the Democrats and the globalists are angry as hell. | |
| That tens of thousands of armed Virginians showed up with their rifles and pistols and were peaceful and that they couldn't start a false flag fight or shooting of some kind, even though they had snipers on the roof. | |
| And by the way, speaking of all that, The problems that we are currently experiencing, which is a very sophisticated cyber warfare attack on natural news, this occurred after our coverage of the FBI running the so-called white nationalist group or white supremacist group called The Base. | |
| Turns out it's an FBI front. | |
| And you know how they had announced that three members of the base were arrested in the days before the Second Amendment rally in Richmond? | |
| Well, that provided Governor Northam the pretext to ban the Second Amendment on the Capitol grounds in Richmond while he put a cage around those unarmed civilians and he put snipers on the roofs of all the buildings surrounding them. | |
| So they built a kill box. | |
| This is a governor, Governor Northam, who loves to kill babies. | |
| He built a kill box with armed government snipers on the rooftops aiming down Las Vegas-style on the crowd of unarmed American patriots who were disarmed because of Northam's, you know, state of emergency, which he declared based on this white supremacist group called The Base, which turns out to have been run by the FBI. So that story... | |
| It was what I published yesterday, and it was just hours after that while I was actually on an interview with Pete Santilli, who has done some of the best coverage of the Virginia situation and many other issues. | |
| I was on with Pete Santilli when we were disconnected from remote access of our own servers. | |
| Now, this is way beyond a technical attack. | |
| This is not DDoS. | |
| This is a highly sophisticated form of cyber warfare that we have never witnessed before. | |
| I'll explain a little bit about what I can share, what we know so far. | |
| But just to let you know, because of extraordinary efforts on our team, We were able to gain some control. | |
| Well, I can't give out information that the enemies might use here, but we're able to post manually messages on the homepage of Natural News, and that may be how you're finding this podcast. | |
| So I will continue to update you with messages on the homepage and links to relevant emergency alerts and things like that. | |
| However, we're not able to post any new stories. | |
| So our reporters are working on stories as usual. | |
| Our editors are working. | |
| Everybody's churning out the usual stories, but we can't post them. | |
| So we don't know how long this delay is going to last. | |
| It might be several days. | |
| It might take us through the weekend. | |
| I don't even know. | |
| But here's what I can share with you about the nature of this attack. | |
| It's not purely technical. | |
| There is a social engineering aspect to this attack that is extremely disturbing because what appears to be the case, and this is not 100% confirmed yet, but it's close, very strong evidence. | |
| It looks like a cyber warfare group has impersonated agents of the federal government and And has counterfeited documents and government orders that were then submitted to our hosting company. | |
| That caused the hosting company to take actions to disconnect us from our servers. | |
| Now, we have looked at at least the primary so-called order, and at first we thought, gosh, this must be the FBI. Maybe they're pissed off because we're exposing their corruption. | |
| But now... | |
| What I think is happening is that there is a cyber warfare team that is impersonating federal agents. | |
| So just to reiterate, it appears here that this is not the FBI, that this is not the government doing this, which I know may sound surprising because that was my first thought as well, that gosh, the FBI is doing this. | |
| But no, it appears it's not. | |
| Someone is impersonating agents of the federal government. | |
| And counterfeiting documents. | |
| So we're talking about felony crimes being committed right now to try to take us down. | |
| This is way beyond, you know, DDoS, which we are essentially immune to DDoS. | |
| We have survived many DDoS attempts and we built our system to be highly resilient against that anyway. | |
| For example, we don't use active server pages on our website. | |
| It's all static pages. | |
| That's why we're kind of immune to DDoS. | |
| But this level of social engineering impersonating agents of the federal government, counterfeiting complex documents and orders, we've never seen that before. | |
| So this is a whole new level of warfare that's being committed against us. | |
| And sadly, our hosting provider has been deceived by this, and we are working right now to try to set them straight and get them to do the right thing. | |
| But in the meantime, we do not have access to our own servers, which is pretty incredible. | |
| It's just shocking that we pay our hosting provider A lot of money. | |
| I'm not even going to tell you what it is, but it's five figures a month, okay? | |
| I mean, it's in that range. | |
| It's a lot of money, and then they cut us off because they, it appears, got hoaxed by a very sophisticated cyber warfare attack that involves social engineering and technical aspects on top of that. | |
| So whoever is doing this is very sophisticated. | |
| I guess if I were Hillary Clinton, I would say it's the Russians. | |
| But I don't think it's the Russians. | |
| I suspect it's a pharma-connected group or a vaccine-connected group. | |
| For all I know, this is probably the CDC running a black ops division like Monsanto used to run. | |
| I mean, you know, we have a lot of enemies because we tell the truth about a lot of things. | |
| And there's no industry more corrupt out there than the vaccine industry, in our experience. | |
| So maybe this is them. | |
| We don't know exactly who it is, but we are going to pursue it. | |
| And we're documenting everything that's happening here, and we may end up going to the FBI. With a willingness to file, you know, or to support the filing of criminal charges against the instigators of this attack, if they could even be found, which is probably a long shot. | |
| But in any case, the reason I'm sharing this information right now is not just to let you know what's happening to us and how we are working to try to resolve this issue. | |
| And we will. | |
| We'll resolve it. | |
| It's just a question of when, how long it takes, but also to warn others out there in the independent media that the attacks have been taken to a whole new level. | |
| Again, not just DDoS, not just phishing attacks. | |
| Oh, which we also got subjected to as well. | |
| We were hit with a bunch of phishing attempts to all the emails of our employees and so on. | |
| But, you know, obviously we don't open phishing emails. | |
| We don't click on mysterious attachments, you know, things like that. | |
| We don't click links and emails. | |
| So that didn't work because we have very strict security protocols internally. | |
| So that didn't work. | |
| But then after the phishing failed, that's when they went to this whole new, you know, impersonating agents of the federal government approach. | |
| Which is bizarre. | |
| I mean, I've never even heard of anybody being subjected to an attack like that. | |
| So, but in any case, the reason I'm sharing this is because everybody else in the independent media needs to know that this is what's going on. | |
| Because it's clear that, you know, we have been in so many cases among the very first to be attacked in a new way or to be censored in a new way. | |
| You know, I was censored off YouTube even before Infowars was censored off YouTube. | |
| I'm one of the most censored voices in the world today, which is why I had to build platforms like Brighteon. | |
| And by the way, Brighteon is not affected by this. | |
| So, you know, Brighteon is functioning just as normal. | |
| And our other projects are functioning just fine as well. | |
| This is really focused on natural news and news target and some of those other, you know, news sites. | |
| But everybody in the independent media needs to know that you have a giant target on your forehead, and the governments of the world, and even some of the corporations of the world, are gunning for you. | |
| They, you know, the deep state, the Democrats, the corporations, the tech giants, they're going to try to put all of us in prison. | |
| They're going to try to shut us down, silence us, make sure that we can't be part of the conversation of a free republic, you know, in an election year. | |
| They want to dominate and monopolize all the speech that's allowed on the internet and silence all those voices with whom they disagree. | |
| So if you correctly believe that vaccines are harming and killing children, then you will be silenced. | |
| If you believe that biology is real and there are only two genders, you will be silenced. | |
| If you expose the corruption of the Biden family or the Clintons or any Democrat, you will be And the list goes on and on. | |
| This is the world in which we now live. | |
| And all of us, we are not only threatened every day by radical leftists like Antifa terrorists, we are subjected to extreme attacks like the one I've been describing in this podcast. | |
| Attacks from corporations, attacks from governments, attacks from regulators. | |
