Time Text
All right, we're back.
This is Mike Adams, The Health Ranger, here on TalkNetwork.com, continuing with the conclusion of this special talk on why the law of attraction fails without action.
This is the positive conclusion.
You're going to love this part.
So far I've covered this idea that the law of attraction by itself, this idea of wishful thinking, is not enough to make things really happen in this real physical world of cause and effect.
That you have to combine it with action, and with planning, and with dedication.
And I hope that that's clear.
You know, nothing's just going to fall into your lap except by sheer chance, which is very rare that the things you really want are just going to magically fall into your lap.
More likely, you're going to have to go after them.
You're going to have to make some effort, take some action, and really, in essence, you're going to have to...
Conspire with the universe to change the circumstances that lead to the outcomes that you want.
That's an interesting way of putting it.
You want the universe to work for you, but the universe isn't going to replace your effort.
Now with that said, the big takeaway of this whole segment is that most people don't dream big enough.
Now you may be surprised to hear me say that because I've just spent the last 45 minutes talking about how dreaming alone isn't enough and wishful thinking isn't enough.
How can I say that most people don't dream big enough?
Well, what I mean by that is as long as you're going to put in the effort and spend the time and the years to make something happen that you want to have happen, why shortchange yourself with little tiny puny dreams?
I know it's never described in this way by self-help gurus who, by the way, are steeped in politically correct language and they talk in circles usually.
They don't really tell you bluntly what they think.
I tend to speak bluntly and I'm bluntly telling you right now that most people spend their lives dreaming little puny dreams instead of the big ones that they could achieve in really the same amount of time.
If you're going to lay out a five-year plan or a ten-year plan, why not make that plan everything you want?
Why not make that plan big?
I've heard dreams described by people who say things like, well, all I want is to own my home, have a steady job, and a wife or a husband that loves me, live in a house and just sort of enjoy life, family, dog, this kind of thing.
There's nothing wrong with that, but that sounds pretty damn boring to me.
Really damn boring, actually.
It sounds like you're shortchanging yourself if that's all you're asking for.
A lot of people out there are asking for, I just want to be loved, or I just want to have enough money to retire or whatever.
These tend to be small dreams.
So you're going to put in the effort over these years anyway.
Why not direct your effort into something bigger?
So instead of just being okay with the amount of income you have, why wouldn't you want to have an abundance of income so much that you could actually make big donations to the causes that you believe in and help empower other non-profits, for example, that are helping humanity?
Or why wouldn't you want to perhaps run your own company that creates something new that the world doesn't have yet, some new innovation that helps people?
Or maybe run a school that teaches people.
Or maybe create a whole new area of healing arts that combines something in some way that helps people heal.
Why wouldn't you want to do more?
Why wouldn't you want to make a documentary about all the cool things that you're doing and help tell this story to a lot of other people?
Here's why I think most people don't think big enough.
It's because they can't imagine themselves in those roles.
Now, if you look at people who have become very successful in the top of their field, and since Donald Trump is on the radar these days, I'm going to use Donald Trump as an example.
Do you think that when Donald Trump was 25 or 30 years old, do you think that he told himself, when I'm 60, I hope that I own a couple of homes and have a few renters and make enough money to live a comfortable life?
You think that's what he said to himself?
No way.
Donald Trump was talking to himself describing the Trump that he already believed existed in his own mind that just had to come into fruition in the future.
Donald Trump was telling himself things like...
I'm going to be a billionaire.
I'm going to own billions of dollars in real estate in Manhattan, for example.
He might have even said, I'm going to have a successful TV show.
I'm going to break out into Hollywood and movies and media or whatever.
And he legitimately saw himself in that role.
Now, I very much doubt he envisioned himself being president one day, but that could happen too.
Here's the thing.
If you can't see yourself in the role that you're aiming for, then you don't really believe that you can get there.
You first need to take yourself seriously by taking your dreams seriously.
That vision that you laid out for yourself needs to be something that you know you can achieve.
And so much of this comes down to having a deeper understanding of the capabilities of the human experience.
Most people don't understand the full potential of being human.
You have a physical body, but you have a non-physical mind that itself is unlimited in its scale and scope and creativity and connection and so on.
You are capable of so much more than you probably have ever imagined.
And the reason for this is there are so many messages in society that are designed to keep you down.
There are deliberate efforts across the board through the public school system, government, media, and so on to dumb you down to keep you in your little box of being a consumer.
All they really want you to do is to be an obedient worker and a consumer.
They want you to buy their stupid branded products.
They want you to pay your taxes.
They want you to consume food.
They want you to buy a house and so on.
They want you to consume and then die while they're taxing everything all the while.
You are basically, if you let yourself be shaped by society around you, you are really a human living in a city in the same way that a cow lives in a factory feedlot.
You are nothing but a drone to the system.
Nothing but an obedient robot consumer worker.
That's it.
And so all the messages are geared toward that.
I mean, look at the fashion industry.
It's designed to make you feel incompetent or inferior.
You know, look at the business world.
It's designed to make you think that you can't possibly compete with these big mega corporations and these big stock traders.
Everything seems so giant and you feel so small.
Look at the messages of mass media designed to make you feel isolated and that you're not okay unless you go along with the crowd and agree with the sheeple around you.
It's all about conformity.
And if you don't conform, then you're condemned, then you're shamed.
So this idea of being unique and being an innovator and being a pioneer, that's actually frowned upon by society.
You've been programmed over the years by this entire system to be someone who doesn't think that you can achieve your dreams.
And so instead of inspiring you with the actual process to achieve your dreams, they insult you with this cheapened down law of attraction nonsense that says you can just wish for stuff and it will magically appear even though it never does.
They don't want you to realize that the real secret, to quote the movie name, the real secret is to work hard with a clear vision of what you need to achieve step by step, day by day, year by year, to get the results that you want in this physical world for as long as you exist in this physical world.
I don't know how the laws of cause and effect work in the spirit realm after this world.
I don't have the PDF user's guide to heaven.
So I don't know about that, but I do know that in this physical world, cause and effect is the system in which you need to operate.
And you need to break away from this horrible negative programming of society, which comes at you through the mainstream media news, comes at you through Hollywood, movies, entertainment, MTV, you know, music.
All of these forms of indoctrination of the masses are designed to keep you down, to make sure that you can't rise up, to make sure that you can't be someone who is individual and unique and special and a pioneer.
They don't want pioneers.
They want obedient workers and consumers, period.
You know, to quote George Carlin, right?
Obedient workers.
That's what they want.
So the takeaway point of all of this is, you know, I started with why the law of attraction fails without action.
But the real point of this is to say that you are capable of so much more than you probably ever imagined.
And yet, to get to that, you're going to have to reshape your self-image.
To reshape your self-image, you're going to have to get away from all this indoctrination and programming, this negative programming and shaming of modern society that only wants conformity, not individuality.
So you need to surround yourselves with friends and perhaps family members who can support you for being unique and being individual and being pioneering and being an innovator.
You need to plug into the information resources online, like perhaps naturalnews.com, that can help you be inspired and help you think about reality, and stop allowing yourself to be programmed negatively by the mainstream media, which basically has a message of, sit down and shut up and do what you're told.
That's CNN, that's MSNBC, that's Fox News.
That's all the mainstream media has all the same message.
You're stupid, sit down, shut up, do what you're told.
My message is, you're a genius, you're probably more brilliant than you could ever imagine, but you've got to get away from this negative programming so that you can blossom, so that you can really express the full potential of who you are as a combination of a physical and spiritual being Two in one, right?
You're more than physical.
You are also spiritual, which means you have unlimited creative potential.
You have unlimited ideas.
You have an unlimited capacity to create the results you want, not by wishing for them.
But by brainstorming about them and then following up that brainstorming with specific actions that will get you the results consistent with the laws of cause and effect in this realm, in this world.
That's the secret.
That's the real secret.
And guess what?
You didn't have to watch a whole movie to learn it.
I hope you found this valuable.
