Mystery Death: Mitt Romney’s Sister-in-Law Found Dead After Fall — What Really Happened?
| Copy link to current segment

Time Text
Did you hear about this Mitt Romney case?
His sister-in-law found dead after a fall.
Did you have have you read this?
Are you asking questions?
What question should you ask?
Does this sound kind of maybe dare I say a little suspicious?
Is it a little early to say that this is suspicious?
I don't think so.
I don't think so.
What are some of the questions you might want to ask?
This is a fascinating case, is it not?
I think it is beyond fascinating.
You see, because this is really, this really is interesting.
This fascinates me.
And it fascinates me because it has all of the trappings of this kind of a of a kind of a generic sort of a story that they hope kind of goes away.
Carrie Elizabeth Romney, age 64, was found dead in the Valencia area, northern LA, near a five-story parking garage in the town center, shopping area.
Authorities responded around 8 30 p.m. local time.
The jump or the fall was suspected.
The cause is still under investigation.
The jump or the fall?
What are some of the questions you want to ask?
The preliminary indication is that she may have jumped or fallen from the parking structure.
The Los Angeles County cause of death is currently listed as deferred, while toxicology and further testing are pending.
As of now, law enforcement officials have stated that there is no indication of foul play.
Interesting.
Investigators are treating this as a death investigation.
Interesting.
The medical examiner has indicated, identified the deceased, that's Carrie Elizabeth Romney.
I believe it must be his spouse.
Or the the spouse of a sibling of his, obviously, in order for him to be a sister-in-law.
What do you think about this?
What are some of the questions you would want to ask?
What are some of the questions?
No, no, we don't know.
There's no reason to think there's anything wrong yet.
See, this is so interesting.
Let's look at what we don't know.
Don't know yet.
The exact cause, the the manner, the timing.
See, because the cause is deferred.
We don't yet know whether the death was accidental or sued self-harm or something else.
Toxicology results in the medical examiner's full report will be critical.
But then again, is is this if it was self-harm?
Is this where you would do it?
See, one of the things which most people consider whenever they consider self-harm is the completion, the successful completion of the act to cause the cessation of life.
Is this something that you that would normally have brought about a certain finality?
You don't want to render yourself, you don't want to be a vegetable.
Is this we don't know?
If somebody's distraught, if somebody's drunk, if somebody's out of their mind, if somebody's in some some psychiatric fugue, some fit, something along those lines, you don't know.
They think different things.
They think crazily.
So we don't know.
But what we do know is that this is let's see how fast this goes away.
And ask yourself the questions.
What do you want to know?
Isn't this something?
Isn't this something?
There's something something very odd.
Is there not?
There's something very odd about jumping, defenestration or fenestration when you're out of window.
There's something very odd about that.
I'm always, what are her friends?
What are her family saying?
What kind of state was she in?
What was she doing before?
Did she have any problems?
Soul, by the way, says, surely there is security footage in the garage.
We don't know.
One would think so.
One would think.
Every square inch of this world has some type of CCTV or a ring camera or something or the equivalent of such.
It's a very good question.
What questions do you have?
Let's say I've just assigned you as part of the investigation, part of the investigative team.
And you're a part of it.
You're you're being asked.
What are some of the questions you want to know?
I talked to friends and family.
How was she doing?
What was she thinking?
What was she?
What was her life like prior to this?
Any did you have any?
Does this surprise you?
Has she threatened this before?
Has she brought this up before?
Very, very important.
This is this is this is the non-medical examiner investigation.
Witness statements, no confirmed reports yet of witnesses, camera footage, assessment of how someone might have fallen from a garage.
How do you fall?
The height of the barrier.
If there's no way you could have slipped, if there's no railing, it would have had to have been either you work.
Homicide or self-harm.
And the alternate theories, you know, some may speculate about foul play or accidental fall, especially for a figure connected to a high profile family.
But as of now, no credible evidence supports these.
We don't know anything.
But what makes this case interesting, suspicious, tentatively, the location.
A multi-story parking garage is inherently risky and invites questions about railing safety, vantage points, or whether someone could accidentally slip.
The abbe the the ambiguity over jumped or fell is exactly the kind of phrasing you see when investigators leave open possible angles.
Self-harm, don't forget.
Nash.
Natural accidental suicide homicide.
Nash, four, and you, undetermined.
Because she's she's related by marriage to a major political figure.
Any sudden or unexplained death invites this kind of review.
So interesting.
Again, deferred.
And I love this jump or fell.
The vagueness.
See, the freezing keeps keeps open multiple scenarios.
Intentional.
Deferred cause of death.
Remember, it's it takes more than if somebody, it depends, witnesses, cameras.
Also, what she said, was there a note?
Was there anything?
Anything.
If she has a high blood alcohol content, that's one thing.
If she has had a history of psychiatric problems, that's it.
No public signs of foul play yet.
High profile.
This is fascinating stuff.
These are the things which I find interesting.
And I also wonder.
Whenever you are a part of a family, the question you should say is, where's Hillary Clinton?
Was she involved in this?
Have you noticed how many people, how many people have terrible things happening to them lately?
Have you noticed this?
Speaking of terrible things happening, is something that we can help my friends.
I want you to know about one thing.
You know, our good friend Mike Lindell is back.
Don't ever let anybody tell you that he's not here anymore, that he's that he's that he's the subject of some kind of financial defenestration.
No way, jose.
He is back and bigger and badder and more ready than ever to really do a great job and to let you know that my pillow is alive and well.
Friends, let me tell you something.
You know, you hear me day after day, night after night, tearing into the nonsense, the scandals, the corruption.
And I always re I always remind you there are still real American companies out there, real American heroes.
One of them is my pillow.
Mike Glendale built my pillow from the ground up with faith, grit, and the kind of spirit that we used to call the American dream.
And he makes products right here at home.
And he and he employs Americans, and he's been targeted mercilessly for standing up to the establishment.
That's right.
That's why I am proud, proud to stand with him.
And now I want you to stand with him too.
If you go to my pillow.com, promo code LINO, my pillow.com slash Lionel, or call 800 645 4965 and use the promo code Lionel you receive.
That's right, a free gift.
Tautological, certainly.
All gifts are free.
I know it's redundant, so sue me.
Go there right now.
It's his way of thanking you and the audience and all of us for supporting freedom, supporting faith, and supporting American jobs and him.
Whether it's the classic my pillow, the Giza dream sheets, the mattress toppers, the towels, the slippers, you name it, these are products you will only use every single day.
And every time you do, you know you're helping keep alive a business that refuses to bow to the mob.
I keep all of these projects in our bed.
This is Almanai love them, so go to my pillow.com, promo code Lionel, my pillow.com, promo code Lionel.
Now you know what's going to happen right now.
We're going to see this kind of kind of moved away here.
Look at Charlie Kirk.
Do we know what happened to Charlie Kirk yet?
No.
And you're not going to.
Because there's no independent anything.
Tucker Carlson may talk about it.
Candace Owens, the great Alex Jones may talk about it.
That's true.
But other than that, the people who are saying, let's get to the bottom of this.
And by the way, there are cases like this all over the place.
Cases involving suspected uh suspicious weird deaths that have not really been uh investigated enough.
There's something wrong with it.
And and they need to be looked at as well.
But ask yourself, my friends, what exactly is this all about?
Why is it that we don't have an investigative arm?
Why is it that we don't solve crimes?
We have two cases right now.
Well, three.
You've got Comey, Letitia James, and this uh Luigi Manjoni.
And uh the Manjoni case, I'm still looking at into I'm very worried about I don't know, I don't like what I'm seeing preliminarily regarding Letitia.
Well, we'll see what happens.
Um I don't know.
I I uh you know, when they when they um got rid of that Siebert, who was the the U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of uh of uh Virginia, it it scared me because he was really good.
And he brought this Hannigan in, so I don't know.
I hope I I hope to God that doesn't go nowhere because I only want somebody to be found guilty to be charged if they indeed did something.
But here's the bottom line, my friends.
This is the bottom line.
This is what I want you to know.
This is what I want you to realize, I want you to be aware of.
Pay attention very, very carefully.
We live in a world right now, my friends.
We live in a world that is so critical, that is so monumentally critical for us to address, and we can never lose our incredulity, our suspicion, our skepticism, but we can't be locked into this.
Take for example the president and what's going on right now in Gaza with the with uh or in the Israel, the plan that the the 20-step program.
Have you followed this?
If you want to hear the best coverage, go to Al Jazeera, Al Jazeera, Al-Arabiah, Al-Arabiah, uh, RT, anything foreign, anything foreign.
I'm sorry to say this, please.
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
I don't want to hear something that's either pro-Trump or anti-Trump.
Pro-Trump is great, so long as it's not so busy trying to make him out to be this God that they miss out the fact that there's some other cases here.
So let me ask you something.
Have you ever thought of yourself as being too?
I don't want to say too conspiratorial, but too uh, what do I say this?
Too um too for lack of better word.
Have you ever thought of yourself being too suspicious to the point where you're you're not able to look at things without the era or the the aura, excuse me, of suspicion.
I mean, is it do you go out looking for things that are necessarily pro-Trump?
Or are you one of these people that goes out for things that are anti-Trump?
Do you have TDS?
Or do you look at things where you hate Israel?
You hate Israel.
You can't stand Israel.
You can't, you can't stand Israel.
or, or do you look at things a little bit differently?
Do you look at things and say, you know what?
I uh I don't know about this.
I think maybe I think that I think we should look at this thing a little bit carefully.
I think maybe, maybe, you know what?
Maybe, maybe something good happened.
Maybe once in maybe they did something good.
Maybe.
Maybe they actually did something beneficial.
There are people that I know, I swear to God, who say to yourself who say to themselves, no way.
No way.
They say to themselves, I cannot do it.
I cannot bring myself.
I cannot bring myself to sing something good about President Trump or Bibi or anybody for that matter.
Sol says, DJT brought in countries to celebrate this.
Why?
He needs them to say it.
Recognition, smart.
In our politics, the other side will not recognize them.
Soul, I thank you so much.
Do you understand that we have a 20-point plan?
Did you read them?
Did you read the 20-point plan?
Did you read it?
Did you read it?
No.
Have you seen what has to be done?
It's a tall order.
It can be he.
Let me, I'm jumping over here, but let me explain this to you.
This is what I wonder about.
I worry about somebody who says, okay, you want me to get rid of Hamas?
Great.
Hey Hamas, you sign off in this?
We sure do.
We're done.
There's about 14, 15 basic Palestinian organizations.
You'll call them terrorists, maybe not.
Al Alaksa Brigade, or they there were there are groups of people you never even heard the names of these people.
So what happens if Hamas says, okay, we're out of here, but the other folks are still there.
What if they say, excuse me?
Who runs Gaza?
What about the West Bank?
Haven't gotten not even talking about that.
Did you hear?
Did you see when Trump says, hey, Mr. President, come on, pardon him.
The president can't pardon him.
And BB's saying, don't bring up the pardon.
This looks like I'm.
See, that's the beauty of Trump.
He he says things.
And he doesn't care.
He just says things.
Did you see Bibi's face?
Yesterday morning, when I'm listening, and I'm listening right away too.
I got right on to uh Al Jazeera, because I wanted to see what they said.
And they said in Egypt, people are saying, What's Bibi doing here?
There was a talk about whether Hamas thought that Bibi would be there alone.
The level of names of sites of people was so interesting.
Now, granted, you can go to cable news and either hear BB the peace president or BB the Rube or whatever.
You know, it's it's either way.
That didn't tell me anything.
For the most part, the cable news folks are just saying, isn't this wonderful?
Isn't this great?
Isn't he terrific?
Isn't he smart?
Isn't it wonderful?
Isn't it great?
Isn't he fantastic?
He's the peace president.
He's gonna get the Nobel Prize.
Well, what is the what exactly are the terms of this?
I don't know what the terms are, but isn't this great?
He's doing a fantastic job.
He's wonderful, he's the best.
Well, could anything go wrong?
Nothing could go wrong.
Don't even think about somebody going.
Nothing is going wrong.
This is the greatest.
This is the most fantastic thing I've ever heard.
Unbelievable.
It is absolutely positively unbelievable.
Now remember, I want you to understand something, and I want people to understand this.
Please, if you're going to hear difficult, complex aspects to this.
Do not go to cable news.
Do not Go to cable news.
Do not stay away from it.
You'll never hear.
You will hear one positive voice or one negative voice.
When you hear Peter Beinart and others, and and you was very interesting.
On Al Jazeera, they had three two professors, one from I think Fordham, one from your American professors.
Thank you, Finding Dory.
One of those things, which is very interesting.
And Susan and Kristen, thank you.
Those particular people were Americans.
This wasn't somebody from Cairo University.
And they were saying, wait a minute, hold it.
It showed a level of complexity in all the things that can go wrong.
And I loved it.
Then you switch back to cable news, and it's everything's great.
This is wonderful.
Now, here's a balance.
Here's the bottom line.
If you are a news consumer, and you are somebody who is a who is a who is a person who says, listen, I want to watch your show, and I want to be a part of your show, and I want to, you know, watch it.
But I but I don't want to hear a lot of complicated stuff.
Can you give me something?
Yes.
And can you give me something that's really pro-Trump?
Yes.
I can give you that.
Okay, fair enough.
That's what we're talking about right now.
That's that's what that's what we are talking about now.
Absolutely 100%.
That's what we're talking about.
It's the most incredible thing I've ever seen in my life.
It's the most incredible thing I've ever seen in my life.
What you you determine what is it's almost like like when you have Spotify.
Do you want to hear the Ramones or do you want to hear Pink Floyd?
Or do you want to hear the Beatles?
Or do you want to hear yes?
I mean, what level of complexity do you want?
What level do you want?
What do you want to hear?
I want the truth.
If President Trump is to be lauded and great.
Tell me why.
Don't just say that because he's standing in the Knesset, because people are clapping.
Tell me why this is.
Tell me a little bit more.
Most people don't know who what Hamas is.
Have you noticed that before?
Ask yourself.
Ask yourself the question: what is Hamas?
What is it?
Is it a terrorist organization?
Is it a political group?
Where did it come from?
Who started it?
What's the history?
Who runs it?
Where is it?
Who funds it?
Who vote?
Did they vote them in?
Who are these people?
Because what's interesting right now is we just hear this name and we just we don't know anything about Hamas.
And it's a fascinating subject.
And one time I told the story, somebody called me an anti-Semite because I told them about the history of Hamas because in their minds, they have this idea that they rose from the swamp, and they're in this rapacious, murderous group of people.
It's the most incredible thing in the world.
Hamas is a Sunni Islamist Palestinian organization that does politics and war under one roof.
It was founded in Gaza in 87 by the Muslim Brotherhood.
Like Sheikh Ahmed Yasin during the first intifada.
Its original 88 charter framed the conflict in religious terms and rejected Israel in 2017.
Hamas issued new principles.
Is it a terrorist organization?
The United States designates Hamas as a foreign terrorist organization.
Many allies do as well.
Hamas's record includes suicide bombings, rocket fire kidnappings, the whole bit.
Is it political or military?
It's both.
Hamas has run a political bureau and social services network, while its armed wing is the Al-Qasam Brigade.
It won the 2006 Palestinian legislative elections, then seized Gaza in 2007 after a brief civil war with Fatah.
see, that was interesting.
Remember what I said?
What is Fatah?
That was Yasser Arafat.
In fact, who runs it?
Smuggling and the like.
And it's interesting if you if you look at the history of it.
And many, many people do not want to hear anything other than the official narrative as to where they come from and how they came about.
They sprung out of nowhere.
Most people will spend no time asking who are these people?
What are they vis the Joe Six Pack, Joe Falafel Palestinian?
I don't have time for this.
Because when I start talking about this, people say, what are you bothering with this?
In every organization involving a group of people that we think are the bad guys, I've got to know what they offer the rank and file citizen.
Okay?
It's that simple.
Dear friends, thank you.
Soul 76, thank you so much.
And by the way, are you going to listen to me tonight at 1 a.m. Eastern time on WABC?
Please do.
We're going to start off with this Romney thing is fabulous.
People love to question.
They love true crime.
And I and they like to hear how this thing works.
So I want you to think about that.
Please thank you so much for always supporting us, for thanking supporting me and Mrs. L and Linz Warriors.
Thanks for being a part of this.
It means a lot to us.
Have a wonderful and a great day.
Yesterday was the worst.
They had to cancel the Columbus Day Parade.
And I think maybe they might, they might have been able to have, I don't know.
I kind of wonder did we really need anyway?
It's kind of mood at this point.
In any event, thank you so much for watching.
Have a great day, my friends.
And until we meet again, remember the monkey's dead.
Show's over, sue you.
