Dear friend, so much happening today.
If it means anything to you, in the city of New York, what is happening as to Zoran Mohamedani is nothing short of tumultuous, seismic.
It is beyond anything that I have ever seen or have imagined.
And I think in a very strange and interesting way, this may be one of the greatest things ever that has happened to us.
And the reason for it is because it is mobilizing folks into paying attention for the first time in a long time.
And I love the fact that that's what we're doing.
It is the most incredible news because people who have never ever, follow my lead on this, people who have never ever shared anything in terms of any kind of simpatico or commonality are now joining forces to say that this guy poses an absolute and
existential threat to us.
It is beyond perfect.
I want you to listen to that again.
I told you what's happened before, which nobody seemed to, well, we understand this and you understand this, but some of the folks don't grasp this.
What is going on in Gaza, what is going on right now in Iran or with the subjects and the debate of war and the like, has brought people together in groups.
I told you, when Greta Tunberg, when Greta Tunberg agrees with Steve Bannon, there's something that cannot be put into words in terms of how delicious that is.
We're seeing politicians and politics making the strangest of bedfellows.
Good day, my friends.
Welcome to this special.
Oh, we also have Verdict Watch in the Diddy case, which is fascinating.
Verdict Watch.
But before we begin, let me remind you, dear friends, that on the 19th of this month, on this, here we are, the first day of July, I will be at the cutting room, inviting you and yours, dear friend, to join us.
Join us for the frolic, the fun, the mayhem, the excitement, all of it that is going on as we prepare.
Tickets are available online.
Please focus.
There's a link right there.
You can join us.
Please bring your cameras and let us conviviate and confabulate and join each other's presence on the 19th of this month.
So let's see if we can go back to square one.
First, Trump is acting all kinds of nuts with his bromance gone bad.
Elon threatening, I don't know what, deportation or something.
They are really, really upset.
And it's very interesting, very sad to see these two seemingly rational people quibble and squabble publicly in this lover's spot, this lover's quarrel.
I don't know if you find that interesting.
I don't.
I think it's unseemly.
I think it demeans the president.
I don't think we need to do the same thing goes for Elon.
I don't know what this is.
Maybe they think it's funny.
Maybe they think it's a work.
I don't know.
I can't explain that.
But in any event, I ask you to also focus, ladies and germs, on so much that is happening right now before us.
A couple of things, which are, which is critical, very, very critical.
Number one, the, I guess there's no other way to say it other than the fact that what we are seeing right now is so interesting and frightening and beautiful.
Let's go back.
First, as you know, our Republican Party, I say that, not being a Republican, but that is the only, that is the only, seemingly the only counterbalance to what's going on.
That's the only counterbalance of what we're seeing.
But our Republican Party seems to know, know, has no bearing, no focus, no direction on anything other than standing initially for the president.
And at 100 and whatever days we are, that's pretty much it.
But we've kind of been kind of bouncing around and the radical left was waiting, doing something with their no kings movement and the like.
And they were looking like they were gaining traction.
Two things happened.
First, and I'll take it in no particular order.
This Zoran Mamdani, everybody in New York, everybody, I'm saying this, everybody is freaking out.
And the left, what would be called initially the radical left, the radical left is saying, we don't know what to do.
We don't know what to call this.
Many people are indicating that they have no interest.
How do I say this?
That they have no interest in joining his bandwagon, but they're afraid of being primaried and they're afraid of officially saying anything.
So they don't know what to do.
A lot of people are holding back.
You know, Jerry Nadler, Kathy Hochl, because this guy's off the chain, gone.
And there's one thing that Democrats and everybody Understands when you affect the bottom line, specifically money, the money class, and the like, you risk everything.
And what he's done is he has pissed off so many people.
And people are openly screaming and yelling for his removal.
People are also saying they're going to leave New York or whatever.
Now, you can take that to heart and you can say, no, whatever you want.
This is big.
They don't know what to do.
And people are huddling.
People are coalescing.
People are talking.
People are speaking and people are planning.
People who have never themselves been a part of anything even remotely similar to or resembling any kind of cohesion.
When you have, I'm trying to go through the list.
This weird fractionalized group.
Cuomo, who was on his way out, but now he's back in.
Remember, the New York City, this is not about a New York City mayoralty.
This is about a bigger picture.
The future of this.
The future of this.
Because this isn't socialism.
This is radical.
This is something worse.
This is the left's Frankenstein as the title of this.
And people are always trying to find out a particular name.
Is this Marxism?
Is this Lenin?
Who knows what this thing is?
Don't really know.
But either way, you have Christian Gillibrand.
You have Jerry Nadler.
You have Hochl.
You have a lot of people saying, what are we going to do with this guy?
He is going to do more.
He is a godsend.
The Republicans are being handed a platform.
He is anathema.
He is problematic to everybody.
Some people call him anti-Semitic.
In that particular trope, I don't think that really carries as much weight as it used to because we have been called anti-Semitic by so many people so often for so many things that have nothing to do with anti-Judaism that it really doesn't make any sense anymore.
But notwithstanding that fact, you have this absolute, this phenomenally fascinating split, this schism.
And I want you to understand that.
He is going to be the exemplar that everybody's compared to.
He is going to be the face of the Democratic Party.
He is saying stuff that is he honestly got his pass.
He's kind of like the Zelensky.
This is a guy who apparently had the worst absentee vote in the assembly.
He was a state assemblyman, which is the state kind of like representative.
I think he sponsored three bills.
He's nothing.
He was created out of nowhere.
He's Zelensky.
And now they're going back and they're realizing, oh my God, this guy's a lunatic.
He's nothing anybody ever even imagined.
It's worse than anybody ever thought possible.
It's beauteous.
He's horrible.
So that's that.
Eric Adams, who was the mayor, now the current mayor, the extant mayor, this guy is, well, is he in?
Is he an independent?
I don't know.
Many people are saying he's had a kind of a resurgence because people are saying, we'll take you.
At least it's the devil we know.
We know what you're about.
And plus, he's been kind of defanged and put in his place.
He came this close to being, as you know, indicted or whatever.
So it's fascinating to see how that thing works.
It's so beautiful.
It's not even funny.
It's so beautiful.
Here in New York, bodega owners are meeting with billionaires.
Everybody's against him.
Everybody.
And when he, when that stink and funk and stank socialist, whatever it is that he is, becomes so bad, the people who normally were initially on his side are now backing up and backing off and backing down.
It's beautiful.
It's beautiful.
So this is great news.
Watch how this happens.
Now, knowing the Republicans as I do, they will not do anything to take advantage of this.
They will do nothing to promote this.
They will do nothing to exacerbate or how do I say this?
Not exacerbate.
They will do nothing to really focus on this, to really come out hard and to push this.
They won't do this.
They will, as you can imagine, kind of do nothing.
They're just funny about that.
They'll do nothing.
They'll let it go.
They won't really pay attention to it.
But we're not going to let that happen.
We're going to fight back.
This is a great, great move.
Now, what the president's doing, I have no idea.
If I ask you, do you know what the BBB, the big, beautiful bill or whatever is about?
Most people say no.
There's a big fight about it.
I don't know what Elon, I don't know what this is about.
I don't know what this is about.
I know there is going to be another thing which the president has to sit down and understand.
And once he understands this, knowing Trump as I think I know him, as I think I know him, every bit of his problems right now, the biggest bulk of his problems, the biggest has been his alignment with BB.
BB.
Don't call it Israel.
Don't call it Zionism.
It's BB.
Because deep down inside, Trump can't stand him.
Because Trump knows that BB never shows respect.
BB thinks he owns this place.
So if Trump understands something, every single thing that we have, everything, and I say this, everything, everything that he showed, everything about his, I don't know what the word is, everything about his countenance, his position, every problem you're having now is because of your alignment with BB.
Did you know that, sir?
Did you know that?
Did you know that, sir?
It's one of the most important things ever.
When Trump understands that and gets it, it's another story completely.
It's another story completely.
And I can't say that enough.
It's another story completely.
My friends, I'm going to say this again.
And if I'm redundant, please forgive me.
This is going to be, we're going to look back at these times as being the most, again, tumultuous and the most shocking.
First, this Zoran Mamdani, Zoran Damaran, changed everything.
For the longest time, Republicans have been looking for some kind of a, I don't know, poll star, an exemplar, something to show just how monumentally insane, insane this is.
We have been looking for the longest time to see something to show how absolutely nuts, crazy the Democratic Party is, but nothing really, nothing connected.
Because it was just the usual suspects.
Yeah, somebody somewhere wanted to have some, I don't know, gender affirming something or whatever.
Or maybe over here there was some crazy radical environmental.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
All of those things never really mattered to anyone.
Didn't really matter.
But now this guy comes along.
And the word is out, what are you doing?
And the word also has gone out to the Democratic Party that says you have to show some discipline.
This guy is not our type of Democrat.
Say what you want about AOC.
AOC is likable to some.
She's kind of quirky.
She seems kind of like everybody's kind of kid sister.
I know you're going to laugh at that.
She doesn't scare you.
She's never said anything remotely where you thought, oh my God.
Elon Omar, Rashida Talib, even members of the squad, they never said anything that made you say, oh my, even Jasmine Crockett, nobody said anything that was off the charts, dangerous crazy, except this guy.
Now, what's also interesting, listen to this.
Now, follow me on this.
To make it complicated, the way you get to the Democrats is to say, look at the people who represent or who, excuse me, who agree with Zora.
Tucker Carlson, Steve Bannon, Massey.
Go down the list.
All these kind of hardcore, if you will, hardcore, but these conservative types, Candace Owens, they agree.
Think about this.
They're agreeing with people, in essence, like him, when he said, this is hard to understand, when he said, I would not leave New York upon being elected and go to Israel.
In case you missed this, during the first debate, or I guess second or first debate, they asked the question, where is the first place you would travel?
Where is the first place you would travel if, when, and if you become the president?
I'm excited to the mayor.
And everybody said, for some reason, I don't know why, well, I'd go to the Holy Land.
I'd go to Israel.
I'd go to Israel.
Go to Israel.
And Mamdani said, I'll stay here.
Guess who liked him?
Tucker Carlson.
So listen, Democrats, not only do you have a lunatic leftist, a lunatic leftist who is embracing stuff that nobody follows, and I mean nobody.
You've got a lunatic leftist who is the favorite of people like Tucker Carlson.
He's no good.
There's one thing.
Listen to what I'm saying.
There's one thing about Bernie.
There's one thing about AOC or anybody else.
The Republicans don't like Bernie.
They might like Bernie a little bit with his anti-war stuff.
They might like him a little bit.
But clearly, he is not somebody they ever say, wow, that took us.
That's interesting.
This guy is a, he's a quizzling to all parties.
The Democrats don't like him, but the Republicans do.
Oh, this is fantastic.
This is great.
They can have...
Your Democratic Party is being run by, and then whatever it is.
And then you give a name to this.
Let me go back to BB.
The anti-BB faction is through the roof.
I mean through the roof.
And BB has, again, brought people together for the first time.
Tell me you're grasping what I'm saying.
There are people who said, we don't belong in a war with Iran.
It's the left and the right.
You've got people who are just, I mean, Bernie Sanders agreeing with Steve Bannon, who agrees with Greta Tunberg.
Do you see this?
It's great.
The president, please, sir, jump on this.
Jump on this.
Why?
To show the Democrats you don't have a position.
You don't have a party.
You used to stand for something.
I don't recognize you anymore.
What are you doing?
What is all this about?
You see what I'm saying?
That's the most important thing in the world that I can possibly tell you, possibly.
I thought I knew you.
I thought you stood for something.
This is just incredible.
Now, Trump and Elon, I don't know how big or important that is.
I don't really understand it.
It is such petulant, baby.
Why are they fighting in public and on social media?
I don't get it.
I think maybe that's, maybe I don't get it.
Maybe that's just the new, maybe that's just the new way people do things.
I don't know.
But this is ridiculous.
But I want you to feel good about this.
If this, there is a God.
Let me tell you a story.
It's an old joke years ago.
And the joke goes, there's a flood, and there's this fellow who's standing there up to his waist in water.
And there it is.
And they come by, there's a boat that comes by and says, come on, jump on the boat.
There's a flood coming.
And the fellow says, God will protect me.
And then the water rises.
Another boat comes by.
He says, come on, hurry up.
Get in the boat.
You're going to drown.
He says, God will protect me.
And just then when he's standing on his tippy toes, the water's always in his nose.
A helicopter drops a rope and says, grab the rope.
And he's barely able to gurgle out, God will protect me.
And he drowns.
And sure enough, he goes to heaven.
And he says, where's God?
I got to see him.
God, I want to talk to you.
I prayed that you would help me and you let me drown.
And God said, I sent you two boats and the helicopter.
Sometimes you are handed things.
Sometimes, I want you to stop for a moment and I want you to think about something.
Every now and then I assess my life.
I don't believe in fate.
I don't believe in any of that stuff.
I believe in luck and entropy.
But I want you to think about something.
When you're driving or when you're, you know, you're just kind of involved in some type of meditation.
I want you to think about something.
I want you to think of how many times you were blessed with not getting what you asked for.
Think about that.
Have you ever had a time in your life when you said, remember when I, maybe you thought that there was some woman or man or somebody that you were in love with or you were attracted to or whatever?
And you said, yeah, this is where I want.
And then you realize it failed or it fell through or whatever it was.
Not you.
How can I say that?
Think about how you have benefited by not receiving what you asked for.
Carla says, I respect those who uphold their principles and stay true to them.
Even when it doesn't benefit them personally, we must always live by our principles.
Just saying, oh, yes.
And let me tell you something, Carla, thank you.
It is one of the loneliest things in the world.
One of the loneliest that I have been.
I have no.
Who is that?
I have no home.
Where is that?
What is that song?
I have no home.
I'll think about it in a moment.
The hardest thing in the world is to sit there and say, what do you believe in?
Because sometimes it's so easy, Carla, to just say you believe in something when you really don't.
It's easy to go along and say, yeah, okay, when you don't.
Sometimes it's easy to sit there and say, look, I agree with 90% of these people.
I'll just, now listen, sometimes it's important to keep your mouth shut.
I understand that too, especially if it's a job or a boss or whatever it is.
But there's something that is so interesting.
During the course of the Trump administration, when Trump first came along, I never jumped on board by being a part of the team.
I'm not a Beatles fan.
Some people love being a part of a group more than anything.
Invariably, I find problems with everybody.
The right got me into a lot of problems.
I didn't fit in.
I'm not a sycophantic bootlicker when it comes to the Fox News crowd or when it comes to the usual subjects.
It's going to drive me crazy to get a song.
I have a what's it called?
A worm, a brain worm or whatever.
I have no home.
I'll think about that.
And the hardest for me to say, this is not about the Republican Party.
This is about something that stands for something bigger.
It's about America.
And sometimes, for the most part, Trump gets it right, but sometimes he doesn't.
And I remember in 20, do you remember, were you with me in 2020?
Forget the election part.
And I told her, Trump's going to lose this.
Trump's going to lose this.
I saw it.
He was losing momentum.
He was losing.
I know what I'm talking about.
I wasn't happy about it in the least.
But I kept saying, and I don't want to be one of these naysayers.
I'm not a Cassandra.
But I thought to myself, this is not.
Anyway, people got upset.
Last night, I said something to the effect of somebody said, this is depressing.
Somebody actually wrote, this is depressing.
I'm not bringing bad news.
I'm telling you things that are true.
I'm telling you things that are absolutely true.
And I also understand there's two parts.
There's the activism part, but then there's the politics part.
And the politics part is more important than anything else because if we're not in power, nothing gets done.
Nothing.
Mrs. L, I want you to listen to her.
There is a subject that is so, I don't want to say esoteric because it really shouldn't be.
But she is going to explain to you what's happening with Marcia Blackburn and how Marcia Blackburn, Mrs. L was devastated yesterday because she felt all of her compatriots and her colleagues and cohort in the movement, so to speak, were just furious with Marsha Blackburn.
And the reason why, because Marcia Blackburn said she was against a moratorium under the big BBB, there was basically this provision that Ted Cruz, that weasily, he has no soul.
He dumped this provision in that would provide a 10-year moratorium, meaning nothing is done or addressed regarding AI.
10 years.
I've never heard anything.
Imagine saying, for 10 years, you can't bring up civil rights.
For 10 years, you can't bring up women's rights.
For 10 years, you can't bring up climate.
For 10 years, you say, what are you talking about?
Nobody, don't talk about climate.
Don't talk about crime.
For 10 years, they say, this is the most absurd thing I've ever heard in my life.
What do you mean, don't talk about it?
Yes.
And it would have, because the existential threat, believe it or not, as I've always told you, is artificial intelligence and what it affects, what it has to kids or how it affects kids.
Anyway, all of a sudden, she's got some of the smartest people working with her.
The last minute, Marcia Blackburn, bang, just says, you know what?
Forget it.
Overnight, I'll go back to what I was.
No, we don't know what's going on here.
We don't know the deals that are being made.
And I want you to go something.
I want also, which is important.
And Carla brought this up about holding your principles.
I love the idea of what Mearsheimer says, realism.
More than anything else, I don't care about what should be.
I don't care.
When you tell somebody, lock your door, don't leave your valuables in the car, we shouldn't have to live in a world where we have to worry about people stealing our stuff.
But we do.
And I can say all I want about it shouldn't be like that.
It shouldn't.
It's the way it is.
I was no matter the subject.
Do you want me to tell you about the way it should be or the way it is?
And all my life, I've had this sense, this brutal sense of the way it is.
We can try to change things, but in order to change something, you have to know the way things are.
What's your time?
Okay.
By the way, Mrs. Ellis got, she's doing some pieces today with Nancy Grace.
She's been on fire with that.
It's a Diddy watch, by the way.
Oh, let me tell you this much.
Speaking of which, some people are getting mad at me.
And the reason why they're getting mad at me is I will say Diddy is most probably going to either have, it's going to be either a hum jury or maybe perhaps, I don't think we're going to have a directive or a motion for GOA that was denied, kind of a directed verdict, but either it's going to be a hum jury and acquittal or or it's going to be reverse on appeal.
And the reason why, I've been telling people, is not because I like Diddy.
See, everything is always reduced into, well, do you like him?
Do you like what?
No.
I believe my principles, as you say, is the fact that federal court is a different kettle of fish.
And the law maintains that you have to make sure, you have to make sure, more than anything else, you have to make sure that the people who are charged with anything actually have that case proved against them.
And the reason what I'm trying to say is simply this.
If Diddy, this is as an example, I don't want to get into Diddy per se, but I'm going to give you an example.
If Diddy was charged with murder, I would say he's not, he didn't kill anybody.
Yeah, but what he did was wrong.
But he didn't kill anybody.
If Diddy was charged with arson, I would say, you don't understand something.
He didn't burn anything.
What are you talking about?
So in order for me to be a student of the law, in order for me to believe in due process, in order for me to believe in this thing called the Constitution, in order for all of this stuff, I've got to be able to tell you, everybody is treated the same, whether it's Diddy.
Let me ask you a very simple question.
Could Hitler get a fair trial today?
Now, whatever fair trial, we're talking about a fair trial, which is a whole nother story.
By the way, I want to tell you so much about my jury duty, which I just, this is another story.
But I don't want to, because I still don't know what happened with that one yet.
In any event, could Hitler get a fair trial?
If our system means anything, everybody, everybody has to be able to afford themselves the ability to appreciate and to enjoy our due process rights.
The moment it doesn't happen, we all lose.
I'm a stickler.
I believe in this country.
I sound like Bona Jera, Godfather, I believe in America.
I really do.
I'm romantic when it comes to this.
I believe there are some things that are the way it is.
And most importantly, I'll tell you the way it is.
And if President Trump is doing something stupid, which he's doing in this Elon Musky, I don't know why you don't pick up the phone and say, get your ass over here now.
Let's talk about this.
I don't want the richest, I don't want to be in a pissing match with the richest man in the world.
And we're not going to be doing this on TV.
Show me how you handle problems.
Show me how you handle problems.
That's the most important indicator of a leader.
Show me how you address things.
When things are going well, that's easy.
How do you handle problems?
How do you handle problems with children or marriage or neighbors or co-workers or employees?
How do you do that?
And ultimately, all of this comes down to this.
You being able to say, this is the way it is.
It's not the way it's supposed to be.
It's not the way it's supposed to be.
It's not perfect.
But I don't, don't ever.
Another thing, too, you brought me up because you got me thinking going back to what I said.
Sometimes it's important for us to realize how lucky we were that something, some things were never answered.
Make the dream says, diddy files, Epstein files fall through the cracks.
Pitty, P-D-E-Y, is that Diddy files?
Epstein files fall through the cracks.
No, they didn't fall through the cracks.
Somebody turned away from them.
They didn't fall through the cracks.
They didn't fall through the cracks.
And thank you for that.
Speaking of falling through the cracks, have you heard recently Bobby Kennedy talk about his father's case?
His father and that assassination is the most glaring of a conspiracy.
You can count the bullets in the room.
And Bobby's like hesitant to even, I don't know what he, I don't understand his approach.
Oh, by the way, side note, check out that crazy, you know, that lunatic Schlossberg, Jack Schlossberg.
This is Caroline Kennedy's son, that lunatic.
There's something very wrong with him.
I don't know if it's drugs, mental illness.
I don't know what the story is.
But you're also going to find that there are other issues that are, put it this way, inconsistent with the Kennedy bravura, the hyper-masculine satyr.
You know what I mean?
The raucous and wild male, hyper-masculine, his grandfather, the rake, the rue.
Same thing with Bobby.
There's one thing about the Kennedy boys, which is interesting because when Jack Kennedy was a kid, his friend Lem, was it Lem Billings, who was gay, used to covert with Jack Kennedy and his father to show you how demented these people are.
Jack Kennedy, or Joseph Kennedy said, look, as long as he lets off steam, he was basically countenancing a male-to-male, as long as he doesn't get somebody pregnant or whatever.
I mean, these people don't have...
And the reason why is they never liked her because they were always the golden child.
Those remember.
And John Jr., oh, God, they loved him.
The Kennedy boys, the Bobby Kennedy boys, never got any, there was no, no comparison.
Bobby Kennedy, when he was a kid, was weird with the hair and the drugs.
And they didn't like any of these people because the Bobby Kennedy, Bobby's brothers and sisters, they were wild.
They were wild.
They're running around Hickory Hill.
I don't think Ethel controlled anything, which is a different story.
In any event, 50, do we...
Okay, let me do this.
Check out Mrs. L. She's terrific.
Carla, good to see you.
And also Big Dick from Chi-Town, good to see you.
I appreciate this.
We're going to be checking through the day.
Make sure you are subscribed to Lionel Nation.
I don't know.
People are getting unsubscribed.
Make sure you are subscribed.
Follow Lynn's Warriors on YouTube and on X as well.
Her work right now is the most important, the most critical.
Also, follow her on Nancy Grace.
Nancy Grace is on fire.
Nancy Grace owns this, owns this genre.
She was, what do you call it, a true crime or whatever?
She was there first.
She was there first.
And that is, she's the Joe Rogan of true crime at any event.
So that's that.
We'll talk to you later.
I thank you so, so very much.
Happy first day of July, ladies and germs.
We will speak later this evening.
Sometimes, remember, keep your hit that little bell.
By the way, please like this.
But make sure your notifications are on a case.
I just want to jump on.
If there's a verdict or a question, Diddy is going to be a fascinating question.
