This is involving the Department of Justice, a little bit of some background, some constitutional, some legal, some law.
This is what you should grasp, dear, dear friends.
The Eric Adams case is yet another example of how the radical left is completely unraveling.
Unraveling under the pressure of President Trump's iron-fisted approach to law.
Now, this is going on right now.
We're expecting Judge Ho in New York to deal, I'll explain it, to decide whether the prosecution may dismiss the case without prejudice.
And if you listen to people, This is the worst constitutional crisis ever.
Let me remind you of something.
Nobody cared about the president when he was suffering the worst constitutional crisis ever.
Nobody cared about him.
Nobody cared about lawfare.
It never came up.
Never.
Nobody cared.
But now, oh my God, everybody's quitting and, oh my God, this is a constitutional crisis.
Everybody's leaving the mayor's office.
You can't do this.
This is a quid pro quo.

This is interesting.
You have a person here who was charged with, think about this, with bribery.

And what's bribery?

And they're complaining that the dismissal of his case is the product of a quid pro quo.

The Trump administration isn't just letting Adams off the hook.
And this is what kills them.
They're keeping him on a leash, ready to reinstate charges the moment he steps out of line.
And they're saying, you can't do that since when?
What are you talking about?
Again, these people who did, I don't remember Sassoon or the, what's his name, this very heralded head of integrity, I don't remember them threatening to step down when American citizens were basically kept without any charges whatsoever in these dank, Dark.
Dungeons.
These, you know, these gulags in D.C. Nobody cared about that.
Nobody cared about anything.
Let me just tell you something.
Where were they?
When Jack Smith and others, when they kept after him, after him with Mar-a-Lago and going through Melania's underwear and Barron's clothes and they didn't stop.
Where were they then?
Who was seen walking down with their coffee cup showing this?
Nobody.
The left knows exactly what this means.
Trump has total control.
And they're absolutely terrified.
And they should be terrified.

Trump's not grabbing illegal control.

Attorney General Pamela Jo Bondi.
Deputy Attorney General Emile Bove ordered the case against Adams to be dismissed without prejudice, meaning if it's with prejudice, you can't bring it again.
It is done.
If it's with prejudice, that means they could bring the case later.
Now, as a practical matter, it's not going to be, but that's their decision.
So without prejudice means it can be brought back whenever Trump's DOJ sees fit.
This isn't about letting Adams off easy.
It's about leveraging power in a way the Democrats never saw coming.
Under Joe Biden, the DOJ was weaponized against Trump from day one and his allies and his family.
And they launched politically motivated prosecutions against him while protecting corrupt Democrats.
Did anybody quit?
Over how they looked the other way with Hunter Biden?
No!
These people, these incredible, these bulldogs of justice, never minded, never involved themselves, never said a word.
But this?
Oh, you've gone too far now.
Now Trump has flipped the script.
Using the same system to take back control.
Adams thought he dodged a bullet but in reality he's been placed under the watchful eye of the Trump administration.
And if he so much as blinks the wrong way the full weight of the law will come crashing down on him.

Remember and I'm going to say this repeatedly if this were the Democrats Who were the subject of this?
If this were the Democrats, not the Republicans, not President Trump, if this were the Democrats, nobody would be saying a word.

So, the folks, the resignations have been pouring in, including Trump-appointed interim U.S. Attorney Danielle Sassoon and lead prosecutor Hagan Scott.
Impeccable, great reputations, Republicans.
Now, the judge is as left pedigree as you can get.
Doesn't mean in any way he is corrupt or unfair or not qualified.
But just for the record, Danielle, Federalist Society, okay?
I got news for you.
Federalist Society doesn't like Trump.
Read the National Review.
They can't stand him.
National Review is just, I don't know where, people think that there's this monolithic group called Republicans.
They're not.
There's different groups in them.
I swear to God, you mentioned before, somebody mentioned Palestine.

This is the same media that had no problem with Biden's DOJ running interference for the Democratic Party when Biden's DOJ refused to prosecute Hunter Biden.
Shielded corrupt officials and aggressively targeted Trump.
The media had nothing to say.
These prosecutors had nothing to say.
Nobody mind.
Nobody, nobody, nobody, nobody mind.
But now that Trump is in charge and actually enforcing the law that he was elected to provide and enforce, they're crying foul.
The double standard is beyond laughable.

Now, Judge Dale Hull, who is a, some people say a radical Biden appointee.
Check out his CV, what he's done, ACLU, which is fine.
He has a great education pedigree, but as far as politics go, you know exactly where he stands.
Now he finds himself at the center of this battle, and the left is desperately hoping that he'll do something to stop.
President Trump's DOJ from getting in the way.
Now, here's the rule.
Under Rule 48A of the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure, the DOJ must get court approval to dismiss a case.
And the left is hanging on to this idea that Judge Ho could block the dismissal.
But here's the truth.
Courts do not, do not have the, repeat, do not have the power, To force the DOJ to prosecute a case.
They can't tell somebody.
If the prosecutor says, wait a minute, I'm going to drop this.
Well, we don't want you to drop it.
You don't want us to drop it.
What?
Prosecutorial discretion.
Prosecutorial discretion belongs entirely to the executive branch.
Meaning, President Trump and his team call the shots.
Not this judge.
Activist or otherwise.
I'll let you decide.
And the Democrats know they're losing control.
They're not used to this.
Which is why they're scrambling to have leftist legal groups file amici briefs, amicus curiae briefs, with the court.
Urging Judge Ho, urging him to somehow, listen to this, investigate why the case was dropped.
What?
Now, groups like Common Cause, oh, Common Cause, they're even suggesting that a special prosecutor be appointed.
What?
To take over the case, which is a blatant attempt to override Trump's authority.
The judge can't prosecute the case, and the judge can't appoint somebody to prosecute the case.
This is nothing but a desperate ploy, desperate, to keep their lawfare tactics alive.
But here's the reality.
The courts do not...
Have the power to dictate prosecution.
That authority rests solely with the President.
And President Trump is using it masterfully.
Now the idea is that, well, he might want to determine, he might want to figure out, he might want to review whether leaving that without prejudice is a problem because we don't want Adams to be brought in, brought out, kind of like yo-yoed, multiple charges to be harassed.
But the bottom line is, this protection, the court is to protect Eric Adams, not the people.
The people of New York, the people of the United States have no say in this.
That's the Department of Justice.
And if they don't like what's going on, let the Senate do something.
Let them involve themselves.
Now, at the heart of the entire meltdown is the fact that Trump has reasserted control over a justice system that the left thought they had permanently rigged in their favor.
They thought this.
For years they used the DOJ as their personal attack talk.
They went after conservatives while protecting their own.
And now, President Trump is showing them exactly what it feels like to be on the other side of the equation.
He's proving that law and order and due process are not just slogans.
They're weapons to be wielded against those who break the rules.
Now, the Democrats, the radical left in particular, are in full panic mode.
Again, because they see the writing on the wall.
The era of unchecked leftist corruption is over.
And they don't know what to do.
And let's not forget the bigger picture.
This case is just the beginning.
See, Trump's DOJ is systematically dismantling the left's grip on power.
