The first thing that you know, that I know, that anybody knows who follows anything involving Democrats right now is to expect nothing from them other than something that's insane.
I mean, go no further than Kemala acting drunker than a sailor.
Whatever that means.
Drunk and sailor, you know the particular thing.
Anyway, here's the latest.
You're going to love this one.
In the wake of the absolute decimation of the Democratic cause by President Trump, New York State Senator Liz Kruger has reignited these lunatic discussions about the state's future within the United States.
Liz, who is a Democrat representing Manhattan, the Upper East Side, and parts of Midtown, suggested that New York...
Along with other neighboring states, should consider seceding from the United States to join, get this, Canada.
Now, she wasn't thrown into a mental hospital, thrown into Creedmoor or Bellevue, wrapped up in a straight jacket.
No, no, she was met with a...
Because that's where these people are today.
The proposal underscores, of course, this deep political insanity.
The hatred, the divisions, the concerns about the nation's direction.
Only Republican direction, not the direction of the country by virtue of these lunatics.
Now, keep in mind, these people are serious.
You might think, wow, this is a publicity thing.
Oh, no, no.
Now, Kruger's idea is not entirely new.
In September, Prior to the election, she proposed that New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Vermont seriously explore and review the possibility of joining Canada.
And the suggestion, as she said, stemmed initially from concerns, fears, and apprehensions and the like about federal policies under Trump and the new potential impact on progressive states and what does this mean to them.
Forget the fact that we have an open border that's destroying the very foundation of our country.
But she emphasized that such a move would allow these states to align more, I guess, closely, maybe, with their socioeconomic and moral values.
So, Liz highlighted the substantial financial contributions that these states make to the federal government.
She also was intimating that reallocating these funds could support maybe their economies independently.
Shades of Civil War, Batman.
She noted, this is a quote, we're talking money we couldn't possibly replace unless we started sending the Feds a lot less money.
And this perspective, this view, this rationale, this lunacy reflects a strategic approach, she believes, to trying to leverage and to utilize economic power in response to federal policies and mandates and the like, perceived as not being aligned correctly with that of progressive and liberal ideas.
It's utter shite.
Now, the concept of secession is not new, as you know, in American history.
It presents some constitutional, legal, and practical challenges, however.
The Constitution does not provide a clear mechanism by which states are to secede, and past attempts, as you know, have been less than successful, most notably this thing called the Civil War.
Now, legal and constitutional scholars alike argue that any move, Towards secession would face substantial hurdles, including potential Supreme Court challenges, the need for political support, and war.
Secession is viewed as an act of war.
You don't just say, this isn't an opting out, you're basically saying we're going to...
Extricate ourselves from the Constitution?
Oh, no, no, no, no.
And they think January 6th?
These are the same people who went crazy about January 6th, but secession is okay?
Kruger's idea reflects, of course, deep divisions and problems that you have between the left and the right regarding political commons, currencies and the like.
While the idea of secession is radical and frankly insane and faces hurdles and obstacles and problems, it underscores, many people say, the need for dialogue.
But I think it also speaks to something else.
How a woman who was so desperately trying to make a name for herself would come up with this cockamamie nonsense.
I mean, think about this.
These are the people who wanted to put President Trump in prison.
In prison for basically wanting to or having some of his acolytes challenge an election and she wants to secede from the nation?
From our republic?
No!
No, no, no, no, no, no.
This is absolute insanity.
Do you hear what I'm saying?
Insanity.
And we have to do something about this.
We have to do something about this now.
We have to make sure that people understand that what this is, is Utter and sheer nutso lunacy.
Again, from the people who said, who thought that January 6th was secession, was insurrection, was obstructionist conspiracy, conspiratorial...
