This is a new directive.

And it states in section 3.3.
That, quote, defense intelligence components may provide personnel to assist a federal department or agency, including a federal law enforcement agency or a state or local law enforcement agency, when lives are in danger.
Defense, intel, federal government, screw posse comitatus, may provide personnel.
September 27th, 2024, Biden doesn't even know he signed it.
Why is he doing this?
Authorization, listen to this, for lethal force, simply, here's the authorization, requires the approval.
The Secretary of Defense, Lloyd Austin, if you can find him, and will provide, quote, this is from this, assistance in responding with assets with potential for lethality or any situation in which it is reasonably foreseeable that providing the requested assistance may involve the use of force that is likely to result in lethal force, including death or serious.
Bodily injury.
So all they have to do is somebody says, hey, lives are in danger.
Austin signs it and all of a sudden you have federal government military assets moving in.
This could include, for example, protest over alleged rigged elections, another attempt at January 6th.
Problems with a future, let's say, pandemic, some type of biomedical martial law.
It won't include Black Lives Matter or George Floyd riots or Antifa, but anything you want to involve yourself in.

And it supplants the 2016 version, which did not mention that.
So I read all of this, too, which is someone else's analysis.
I said, okay, this sounds even more troubling.
I want to go look at the document itself.

At the DOD Directive.
It's DOD Directive 5240.01.

Defense intelligence components may provide personnel to assist a federal department or agency, including a federal law enforcement agency or a state or local law enforcement agency, when lives are in danger in response to such a request.
For such assistance in accordance with the following approval authorities.

Responding with assets with potential for lethality, and I underlined this, I highlighted it, or any situation where it is reasonably foreseeable that providing the requested assistance may involve the use of force that is likely to result in lethal force.
Including death or serious bodily injury.
