They've got Diddy on suicide watch.
You know why that's important?
Because when he commits suicide, they can tell you, well, we warned you.
They've got to be careful with these words because there's all kinds of algorithms and this thing, and if they pick up on that word, they've got to be careful.
That's why we can't mention that fellow's name when he starts with an E. Remember that fellow that they said, you know, did himself in?
But you and I know he was taken out by virtue of the evidence, particularly hemorrhaging, hyoid bone fracture, thyroid cartilage.
I mean, you name it.
So what they're doing is they're telling you right off the bat, hey, he's like this.
And then they say, oh, no, no, no, he's...
How do I say this?
He's fine.
He's going to fight this.
Fight my ass.
He'll never see.
He'll be 75, 80 years old?
Maybe.
Maybe if he gets out.
Maybe.
And with all kinds of extenuating circumstances, and with federal cases, you do 85%.
There's no parole.
You're going to do 85%, period.
You see, this guy's weak.
He's a baby.
He's a child.
You know, they give you all this crap about, oh, I'm a thug and thug life.
This guy's gonna wilt.
Okay?
Wilt.
There are people who are in the mob, so to speak, whose families were in the mob, and they were raised by or with the notion, believe it or not, that everybody they knew went to prison.
Everybody, for long stretches or short, everybody.
Fathers, relatives, neighbors, members of the group.
It's kind of a rite of passage.
And while these judge rules talk about being tough, whatever, they are absolutely the weakest thing.
They're not gangster or gangsta anything.
A lot of them are just marginally, you know, literate.
But that's a different story.
This guy is getting away with murder.
And now it comes out more and more and more about how depraved he was and how he went after children and men and women and how he liked and got his jollies by watching people basically serviced by others.
Did you hear about this porn star feller who...
And all this information that's being unearthed.
That we're hearing about for the first time?
And when you're buying industrial quantities of lubricant and you're recording this, look, I gotta tell you something.
Thank God for justice that these people are so stupid that they feel invisible.
They feel as though I'm Diddy.
I don't have to worry about this.
I'm blessed.
That's for you to worry about.
This is a guy who goes from a $25,000 a night, whatever, sweet, On 57th Street in Midtown, to basically squatting like an animal over a stainless steel pot.
How do you like that?
Getting up at 6 in the morning, making his bed, swabbing his cell, and seeing nothing.
And getting his canteen duties.
This guy is going to be thinking right off the bat, how do I get out of here?
Whom?
Do I have to give up?
What do they want?
What did I do?
Meanwhile, ask Harvey Weinstein.
Look at that guy.
Harvey Weinstein's a choir boy compared to this guy.
Harvey Weinstein, I'm not defending him, but what he did is nothing compared to this.
Nothing.
And Harvey Weinstein delivered.
Not always.
He may have been a complete degenerate, a freak, he may have done terrible things, but There are women today, stars, Academy Award winners, who basically went the Weinstein routine and did just fine.
Remember, the thing that both of these folks have in common, maybe with the exception of Harvey to an extent, is that the victims came to them.
Now Harvey was a bit obstreperous.
He would go and demand that he meet with people and he was very, very forceful.
Diddy will basically say that, no, I had him come to me.
Nobody forced these women to be a part of these orgiastic routines and nobody, no, no, no, no.
I had to turn these people away.
Does that make any difference?
Believe it or not, a little bit.
Because remember what he's being charged with.
Human trafficking.
Fraud, force, coercion.
And as rough as this may sound, if he said, force?
I never forced anybody.
They can leave anytime they want.
You can ask any of these women, when could you not leave?
When could you say, you know what, I'm out of here.
I'm done with this.
Now, you could say that he threatened...
Their careers, or dangled their careers, or threatened, whatever it was, but to save your life?
Now, as improbable as you may think that is, that's precisely what he's going to say.
And how did you do?
Was there anybody who didn't benefit somehow?
Now, this, of course, depends upon the facts of the case.
If you have some poor...
Girl who gets off of the bus at the Port Authority from Des Moines, who's thrown in the back of a van and taken to Diddy's.
You know, that's another story.
But he's going to say, I absolutely made it crystal clear.
You don't have to show up to this.
You know exactly.
And how many of these girls, he's going to say, how many do you think came back over and over repeatedly?
How many?
How many people?
How many times?
How many times do you think that happened?
You and I may find this to be totally and absolutely disgusting.
I understand this.
I grasp it.
I understand the idea and the notion of this.
But let me tell you something.
And this is what's really critical for everybody to understand.
That in the midst of all of this, in the midst of all of this lunacy that we're talking about, There's going to have to be interposed practical defenses to this.
Now, guns and filing off serial numbers, I don't know, arson, kidnapping, again, I've got to see the facts of the case.
But do not be surprised if his major defense, his major point that he presents is, they could have left any time they wanted.
I never made anybody stay.
Ever.
I may be a lot of things, but a kidnapper, I am not.
Let's see how it works.
And for the best ditty coverage, stay here and my sister's station, if you were a channel, Lionel Legal.
