Well, if you go all the way back...
I'm going to talk about ESS60 as this molecule.
If you're watching, you can see I'm holding up a model of a molecule.
If you're listening, I'm holding up what looks like a soccer ball, where the lines on the soccer ball represent the bonds between the carbon atoms.
You have a spherical molecule of 60 carbon atoms.
Again, we call that ESS60.
It was discovered in 1985 here in Houston.
That's where our lab is based.
And the three scientists who discovered it won the Nobel Prize for the discovery because the molecule is...
Absolutely amazing.
It makes better inks, better batteries, better tires, better photocells.
And then everybody's thinking, wait a minute, Lionel just said he puts this on his face and he's consuming it.
Those aren't things that I associate with putting on my face.
No one's ever looked at a car battery and said, what components of that battery should I be applying regularly?
Well, that's the difference between you and me, my friend, because I look at it already.
And I start getting ideas.
No, but I know what you're saying.
Well, let me ask you this.
Just stop for one second.
You know, you are certainly the scientist.
I am an organic chemistry tyro, at best, a panjandrum, a nobody when it comes to this.
But when somebody said garlic, they go, that's garlic.
Allison, ooh.
Everything is a chemical.
There is nothing special about something that is curated in a lab and something that may exist in nature.
So for some reason, I guess if it doesn't come in a bottle, people don't think, well, it's not really going to be beneficial.
Why?
Go ahead, please.
Yeah, so let me just start.
You're bringing up a very, I think, poignant question, which is, is this naturally occurring?
Because most people in general are like, I'd rather be consuming and using on my skin things that are natural.
In fact, this molecule, again, the soccer ball-shaped molecule ESS-60, is a naturally occurring molecule.
So it is a naturally occurring molecule.
We just can't collect it in quantities large enough to actually use in a product, and so we do manufacture it.
Now, some people are like, oh, you manufactured it.
That's very different.
Well, the reality is this is only 60 carbon atoms.
There is only one way that you can put 60 carbon atoms together, whether it's natural, whether you find it in space.
This molecule's actually been found in large quantities in space.
The layer of Earth that when the asteroid hit the Earth and the dinosaurs disappeared, that layer of Earth has a higher quantity of this ESS-60 molecule.
You just can't mine it enough.
And all of those versions are exactly the same.
So it doesn't matter how you get it because the molecule is so simple.
It's not like it doesn't have...
So you'll appreciate this in organic chemistry.
You have...
The exact same molecule, but they'll have a right-hand twist or a left-hand twist.
Dextrorotatory and levorotatory.
DNL.
It's your cistrans isomers, my friend.
In fact, when cistrans became part of news, I thought, I know what that is on a molecular level.
I will just leave it at that.
It's a family show.

So what's fascinating is those molecules have exactly the same chemical composition and can have very different impacts biologically, right?
So that's fascinating in and of itself.
That doesn't apply to this ESS-60 molecule because, again, there is only one way to put this molecule together so it's naturally occurring, right?
So we kind of left off.
It's for industrial applications.
I've been manufacturing this molecule since 1991.
Four years, excuse me, five years before they won the Nobel Prize.
They won the Nobel Prize for the discovery in 96. We've been manufacturing since 91. In 2012, they actually thought the molecule would be toxic.
They put it in a toxicity study.
In 2012, they published the results of that study.
Instead of being toxic, the test subjects, given this molecule, ESS60, dissolved in extra virgin olive oil, really the C60 EVO formula lived 90% longer than the control group.
And you can imagine that was the point where I changed from being a happy-go-lucky carbon nanomaterial scientist, if there is one, I'm one of them, to getting into the health field, which is something that I didn't have my eyes set on.
I was kind of interested in not getting into the health supplement industry.
I feel like the supplement industry, we'll say politically correctly, has challenges, and it's very different than delivering high-quality.
quality commercial quantities of carbon nanomaterials to research institutions around the world, which is actually something we still do today.
Well, listen, I am, as I become wizened, hobbled by decrepitude, as I'm on the back nine of life, I have realized that the only person who's going to take care of me is me.

Well, first...
Olive oil is amazing.
It's part of the reason it's our preferred oil that we dissolve the ESS-60 molecule in.
In that original study, right, so we go back to the study that was published in 2012.
By the way, it's peer-reviewed and published, the kind of research that you would hang your hat on.
In that study, they gave the test subjects, in this case it was Wistar Rats, water.
One group got water, one group got olive oil, and then one group got olive oil with ESS-60.
The group that got olive oil lived 30% longer than the group that was just given water, right?
So I love there's a guy, Dr. Gundry.
He's written a number of books.
I've had the pleasure of being interviewed by him at times.
And what he says is the purpose of food is to get more olive oil into your mouth.
Right?
Olive oil is amazing.
Now, if you're looking at this original study and you go, great, olive oil, 30% extension of life.
I like that.
But olive oil with ESS60, a 90% extension of life.
This is in test subjects.
We've got a ways to go to really make sure this is applicable to humans.
But if you're looking for that type of benefit, then yeah, you want to find the link that's above and you want to chase after that product.
And it is a good, high-quality extra virgin olive oil.

I start my day literally with this in my morning coffee.
Now, this is what I noticed, too.

So my routine, just to share, right, because we have an olive oil product, we have an avocado product, and we have an MCT product.
I actually, there's a thing called Bulletproof Coffee.
I don't know if you've heard of Bulletproof Coffee.
Bulletproof Coffee is a good, high-quality coffee, some ghee, and then some MCT.
So instead of just a regular MCT, I use our MCT.
And what's interesting about our MCT is it's a beautiful purple color.
Like it's just gorgeous.
So you're pouring this.
I put that into my coffee.
While that's blending because that's oil and coffee is water-based, that needs to be blended.
I take a teaspoon and a half of our olive oil product.
And then for lunch, I typically have a salad.
I throw some of our avocado product on our salad.
But a lot of people might ask, well, what should I take?
You've got these three oils.
What we say is, for two reasons, the olive oil.
The first reason is, we're a science-based organization, and all the research is on this ESS-60 molecule in olive oil.
The next reason is we get the higher concentration.
In olive oil, right?
So we get about 0.8 milligrams per milliliter in olive oil, about 0.6 in avocado oil, and then about 0.3 in MCT oil.
Okay.
That's why we recommend the olive oil.
Now let me, take me, you know what this sounds like?
