It appears that America's favorite prosecutrix, America's sweetheart, Fannie Smith, may have some potential challengers in an upcoming election.
That's right.
As you may or may not know, Fulton County District Attorney Fannie Wilson is facing multiple, multiple potential challengers and contenders in 2024.
The first is Democrat Christian Wise Smith, who is an Atlanta prosecutor who previously ran for DA against Willis in 2020, he filed paperwork today to qualify as a candidate, which is fascinating.
And this is interesting because the primary is scheduled for May 21st, and Republican attorney Courtney Kramer also qualified to run against Willis, according to the Georgia Secretary of State's office.
Now, Willis, Fannie, to all of us, as you know, is facing potential disqualification, among other problems, regarding the case of former President and soon-to-be-reelected President Donald Trump, as well as the latest iteration of problems.

Georgia State, this is a Senate committee investigation.
And of course, as you know, she's being investigated for alleged financial benefits and the like, gained from appointing her lover, the garage door lover, Mr. Nathan Wade, who she appointed as a special, a special, a special prosecutor.
Now, Mr. Wise told local CBS News, quote, running for public office is not a decision I take lightly.
Well, I would certainly hope not, and we thank you for that, Mr. Wise.
Thank you for not taking it lightly.
Had she not taken it lightly, well, things would be different.
Quote, I am heavily considering the options as I am to reach a final determination on my candidacy.
Ultimately, I only want what is best for the citizens of Fulton County.

Please run and make as many speeches as possible and make sure you pick Mr. Wade and Mr. Bradley in particular as your campaign staff because I frankly can't get enough of this.
You have brought me so much pleasure because I just never thought this could happen in my country.
