It stands as the most lethal, natural catastrophe to date.
And even compared to the 1918 Cloquet Fire in northern Minnesota, the 1918, an event notorious for claiming over 450 lives, this fire's impact was staggering.
This fire that raged through Lahaina left a trail of destruction, damaging or obliterating over 2,200 structures.
And the process of rebuilding, let me say that word rebuilding, and listen very carefully to the word rebuilding.
The process of rebuilding is anticipated to come with a price of maybe five and a half billion dollars, according to FEMA.
Now, what you should get from this is, there were other fires.
There have been other fires.
This is not the only fire.
There were some fires that actually were greater.
We're greater.
But remember, the first rule is do not go into this looking for something.
This is why we have double blind tests.
Don't go in looking for something.
But understand something.
Listen carefully.
There have been worse, but it's rebuilding.
