"The Future"You know, this Titan sub story, I swear to you, I think to myself, all right, that's enough.
I've had enough of this.
I've had enough of this.
We've talked about this enough.
There's no more to discuss.
That's it.
It's tragic.
It's awful.
It's ghoulish.
What more can you say?
And then something else comes up.
Something else comes up.
Something even more incredible.
Did you hear what happened to what Stockton Rush's close friend said?
I mean, this is just this Stockton Rush.
I know he's dead, but that doesn't necessarily absolve him of the horrors that he's responsible for.
Okay, look, before we...

Well, it seems that a close friend, well, One more thing.
Of Stockton Rush, who was the doomed CEO, who was operating the Titan sub during this collapse, compared the vessel to a mousetrap for billionaires.
I mean, just think about this.
He also accused the CEO of murdering his passengers in an interview with 60 Minutes Australia.
By the way, 60 Minutes Australia is simply.
The best.
His name is Carl Stanley.
He's a submariner, a submarine operator himself, who rode on the Titan during what appears to be a test run in the Bahamas in 2019.
And he said, quote, Stockton was designing a mousetrap for billionaires.
And even went so far as suggesting that...
He was happy to risk the lives of his affluent and rich passengers in order to go down in history.
Bad choice of words, but that's exactly what he did.
When he was asked if Rush had a death wish, Mr. Stanley responded, quote, the only question is when?
He was risking his life and his customers' lives to go down in history.
He's more famous now than anything else he would have done.
Further quote, he quite literally and figuratively went out with the biggest bang in human history that you could go out with.
And it was the last person to murder two billionaires at once and have them pay for the privilege.
Wow!
And you can see for yourself, and I've included this story in here.
It's incredible.
He even thought...
During the course of this, he even thought that he had heard what appears to be some type of cracking or noise, which indicates problems.
This is when they were doing a test dive off of the coast of the Bahamas in 2019.
During the two-hour, 12,000-foot descent, Mr. Stanley told 60 Minutes that he recalled hearing this loud gunshot.
Like noises every three to four minutes.
He said, that's a heck of a sound when you're that far under the ocean.
And in a craft that's only been down that deep once.
And Stanley, Mr. Stanley, I'll just say the Stockton Rush, then sent a series of excuse me, that Stanley then sent Mr. Rush, excuse me, a series of rather heated I literally painted
a picture of this wrecked sub.
At the bottom of the ocean.
And even that wasn't enough, he said.
And a video animation of the Titans for lack of a better word, the catastrophic implosion posted on a YouTube posting earlier this year shows that the five passengers aboard this SUV The size vessel met their end when the ship's carbon fiber just crumpled and collapsed.
It's just incredible.
And if you read more, you realize that how horrid this was.
Patrick Leahy, president of Triton, Triton submarines, and a friend of passenger Narjolet, He could even convince someone who knew and understood the risks and he was really quite predatory.
He needed the money and he had, apparently, from what they're saying, this demented, homicidal, so to speak, desire to be bigger and grandiose.
There was another man, Jay Bloom, who nearly booked the Passage on this particular doomed sub pulled out at the last minute.
He said Rush, quote, wasn't really looking to build a tourism business to the Titanic and only brought passengers along to finance his scientific observation.
So it goes on and on and on.
And, you know, somebody somewhere I'm sure is going to say, you know, why all of this ghoulish post-mortem?
This horrid...
What am I trying to say?
This post-bortem libel, even though you can't libel somebody or defame somebody who's dead.
I think the reason is because it shows you this admixture, this collection of not only a tragic situation, but you're seeing people Who put everything aside, including their own safety, their own safety for what?
For their own glory?
The spiel of how they've conquered the oceans?
It's fascinating to me.
Normally, Normally people say, well, you know, when somebody invests in a plane or a hot air balloon or whatever it is, and they themselves are passengers, or they have, let's say, family members, normally you use that as an indicator that everything must be okay because after all they're there.
Well, it's not.
There's nothing wrong with us reviewing this.
I don't know if there's any litigation afterwards.
I can't imagine it.
Anything other than a slam dunk.
But I hope that rather than us just pursuing this same kind of attack, that people ask themselves, are there other forms of adventure trips and packages where This same kind of analysis would benefit everybody involved.
It's worth a thought, isn't it?
It is certainly and absolutely worth a thought.
