Since I first began reading about the Titan sub, I was simply nonplussed and gobsmacked, amazed by how many subsequent articles I was reading.
About the absolute, I would dare say, criminal negligence involved not only in the design, but the operation, and this absolute, this lust for just money and profit over that of safety.
Remember, you had more billionaires per square inch in that tub of whatever that was.
Than any place on the face of the earth, and yet nobody knows what happened.
No GPS, no nothing.
Well, anyway, here's the latest information.
The latest information which will absolutely just amaze you.
And what's interesting about it is that when you hear it, you think, yes!
Why didn't somebody say something about this before?

$2,000.
That's where gold is headed.
$2,000.
The growth will continue throughout 2023, with gold prices remaining elevated at an average price of $2,086 an ounce.
All this is according to Bank of America, and it looks like they are absolutely right.
At the beginning of December, gold crossed $1,800, and it's still climbing.
And if this year has taught us anything, it's that tangible assets are the only assets you can count on, like gold.
It's time to open a gold IRA now.
Crypto keeps on tanking.

Remember, there is always a risk of loss, and past performance is not indicative of future results.
All right, my friends.
Listen to this, the latest information as to the criminal negligence for no other word, no other way around it, than what we're seeing right now.
And this...
This Ocean Gate CEO, this Stockton Rush, whom I, and I'm sorry to say he perished along with these other people, was the most reckless individual that anybody has ever seen or could ever imagine.
Now, let me explain something to you.
You do not have to be an expert on this.
If you are a juror, And you were asked to be a part of this, and you were asked to listen to the testimony and listen to what was being said.
You would have a lawyer and expert witnesses point out information to you, and you would be able to say, okay, now I understand it.
This happens all the time.
Expert witnesses provide information to jurors in medical malpractice cases, products liability cases, intellectual property.
Really complicated stuff, so don't think that because you're not a submariner, or you do not have any particular schooling in nautical engineering, don't think for a moment that you can't opine regarding this.
Now, one of the most important things, one of the most critical aspects of this, is they compared what was happening.
Experts believe that one of the most ridiculous things That happened.
To make it more profitable was to drag this Titan sub, drag it on a platform versus, and they compare it to that of the Alvin.
Now, the Alvin is a research sub that is Navy owned by the, well, basically it's a government ship.
And what it is, is it's It shows precisely the way things should have been done.
What's interesting, the Alvin research sub is transported to dive sites on the deck of a dedicated mothership, which is outfitted with winches and cranes and devices to lower it into the ocean.
The Titan had no dedicated mothership, and it cut costs by Towing it out to sea by this smaller chartered vessel, the Polar Prince.
Now this Polar Prince, this ship, was decommissioned apparently by a decommissioned Canadian Coast Guard icebreaker, smaller, older than the ships that the Ocean Gate had used in the past.
And using this tow cable, the ship dragged The Titan across hundreds of miles of rough and open sea on top of the launch platform that was used to submerge it and then retrieve it.
And then when asked specifically if towing the Titan risk any kind of damage to the structure or the passengers, the company spokesman said, oh, we're unable to provide any information.
At that particular time.
I mean, it's just incredible.
So that's one part of it.
And there is one of the most fascinating pieces.
I'm going to put this reference from the Daily Mail.
In addition to this, this is really interesting.
The Alvin...
By the way, owned by the Navy and operated by this whole, a Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute.
The Alvin is a sphere, and it's basically, it's better able to handle the depth, and it's this optimal shape that resists crushing pressures that can reach three tons per square inch.
Now, it's smaller.
It can only carry maybe three people, so that would be two, including the captain of this.
It was roomier for putting more people on it, and also, it was a more, how did we say this, it was a more, not contiguous, but structurally, it was more titanium versus these different...
Metals and different substances.
Filament here, plexiglass here.
It was designed with safety in mind.
This Titan sub, by virtue of its construction, did not allow for the pressures itself, but also did not have this continuous either titanium or what have you.
I mean, it's just incredible.
And people said that many, in fact, this article, and I don't want to take any credit from it, it's so thorough, and that's why I provided it to you.
But there was a forensic metallurgist reported, and I think this is interesting, metallurgists reported that when you change the geometry from a sphere to this tube, it may have also contributed to the subs.
This catastrophic collapse by virtue of it.
The larger a sub is, the stronger and more fortified the hull must be in order to withstand it.
In fact, it says if two subs with the same hull thickness, the larger one would collapse or buckle first.
But that's inconsistent with putting more People on it!
And the failure points, carbon fiber haul, the composite was fundamentally flawed, this material.
Acrylic viewports.
It's just, it's one of, put it this way, it's one of those cases that as a lawyer you think, what would a jury do if they heard this?
And of course, it's tragic.
You know, you want to keep in mind the tragedy of this.
But the truth has to prevail.
It should have never, ever been allowed.
Remember, these are the same people who kept the website up afterwards.
Still inviting people, hey, we're going out.
You know, in the world of products liability, in the world of lawsuits, illegals, sometimes it's been said that there will be an airline, you've heard about this, where they will say,
you know, we could fix this, but in order to retrofit this, in order to correct this, and to avoid what would certainly be an impending disaster and certain death, It would cause X. And you know what?
It's better to pay off the victims.
This is reported.
Whether this has actually been documented, it's subject to debate.
But it's better to pay off the victim's family.
It's cheaper than to retrofit all these planes.
Sometimes there's that weird cost-benefit analysis.
This is one sub.
And this CEO, instead of, you know, this devil maker, he talks constantly about breaking the rules and, you know, when you want to go out there and you want to, you know, tackle the seas, you have to be willing to bend.
No!
Not with safety!
And these people, these brilliant people, these billionaires just assumed that's the part that you think to yourself, can anybody know?
How is this allowed to happen?
Now, when those individuals come along, the libertarians, and they say, we want less government regulation, ask yourself, would society have been better off?
Had there been at least some licensure division to at least look at this and say, wait a minute, you can't do this, or can you?
Or...
Do we live in a kind of like that laissez-faire?
Oh, well, let's just let the marketplace decide.
I don't know.
That's for another issue.
But the number one, the one that gets me is they dragged this bouncing and banging in the water on this platform.
And at one point, parts of it were submerged because they had the wrong ship.
They never even consulted with other people.
They would have had to have had a smaller ship, to repeat, a smaller spherical ship that could have had three people.
That's what, a half a million dollars versus $250 a piece that you could stretch out?
I mean, it's...
And the people who were on this before in the past, who made it out alive, should thank their lucky stars.
No, no.
This is incredible.
And what litigation may or may not...
Come from this as mood at this particular point, but I would...
I don't want to say I love this because it's a sad thing, but as a lawyer, to be able to present this, you know, you don't...
It's just expert after...
They would settle, of course, but to present this, it would be...
The forensics are just incredible.
So think about this, my friends.
And also think about yourself.
Think about...
When you go to, I don't know, amusement parks, and you go on rides, you assume this stuff is checked out, right?
I do.
I mean, when you get on a plane, you get on a boat, you just assume that somebody would have said, well, obviously we've checked this out.
Have you?
Have you?
Hasn't?
We'll be talking more about this.
Thank you, dear friend.
