Well, just minutes ago, virtually minutes ago, relatively a few minutes ago, it was released.
And the news was released that Brittany Griner was released.
Brittany Griner who was being held in a Russian prison is on her way home.
It is a fascinating story as we read.
Brittany Griner who was arrested in Russia as you know for carrying Either allegedly, I don't know if her defense was that she didn't have it, it was planted, I don't know.
But apparently carrying some type of drug substance which was verboten according to the rules and regulations of Russia.
Brittany Geyer was arrested in February, right before the start of the Russian-Ukrainian military operation.
She was arrested for bringing in vape cartridges containing oils.
She was derived from cannabis.
This was through a Moscow airport and she was returning home to the country from playing a basketball league in the country.
And about 10 months later, right before Christmas, she is coming home.
And she was freed from a Russian penal colony on Thursday, which is today.
In a prisoner exchange for convicted Russian arms dealer Victor Boot.
U.S. and Russian officials have expressed optimism in recent weeks about a potential deal for Greiner.
A top Russian official had said last week that a deal was possible.
And anybody, anybody who has been paying any remote attention, To what is going on in the world and not watching cable news knew this was coming, especially regarding the exchange between her and Victor Boot.
Now, your thoughts and of course people are reacting.
I was on the phone just moments with a friend of mine, a rather connected sort, who is again missing the point completely.
And I said, where have you been?
We knew this was going to happen.

What, cable news?
Is that it?

Now let me exactly ask the question.

Moscow, quote, had slammed his sentencing in 2020 as baseless and biased.

And Boot has maintained his innocence.
Now, Greiner had played in the off-season for a Russian women's basketball team.

Here is the question, and I ask you this.
Number one, the question that I have for the live audience, which we will go into today, is very simply this.
