59 years ago today, the assassination of John Kennedy.
On prime time.

Not after the fact, not later on, not with grainy images, but at that moment.

I was five years old.
I remember it.
I was wondering, why is my mother crying?

What is this?
Everything changed from that moment on.

We changed in a way.

We changed to this day.
We are still reeling from that today.
The way we process information that is not consonant, that is dissonant, that is antithetical, that is antagonistic to reality.
We changed in ways.
You can't understand.
And I'm going to be as careful as I can for purposes of this particular social media platform and the sensibilities contained and attendant there too.

Because you have to be very careful how you speak of this in public.
You have to be careful because the subject matter pulls people in like a moth to a flame.
Not necessarily the best people, not necessarily the most informed, not necessarily the most sensible, but it pulls people in like you.
I'm going to be discussing this with you.
I'm going to be talking about some points.
I'm going to be referring to them.
Rather tangentially, because we've got to be careful.

Today, 59 years ago, today, everything changed, and I know people were saying this, our innocence collapsed.
Our innocence, our worldview, our sense of calm, our sense of protection, our sense of safety, Everything changed.
Everything changed forever.
From that moment on.
And the conspiracy theory was born.
Not conspiracy theories.
They've been around since they were people.
But the term.
The term.
The negative connotation.
Term.
The pejorative.
Term.
It changed drastically, monumentally.
It changed.
It changed in ways that we cannot begin to describe.
Because the idea That someone, that someone so great and grand and beautiful to many and perfect and innocent, the fact that he could be eliminated like that by someone who for all practical purposes was insignificant,
a nullity, a freak, An insignificant human trifling.
Think a goo-gaw.
Just a nothing.
Gone.
And then, that person was gunned down before that person could actually explain what happened before a trial.
In a series of circumstances that after the fact make people say, wow, unprotected, brought out where people just came in, where Jack Ruby, it is reported, gunned him down to prevent Jackie...
Kennedy from having to testify?
Her words to that effect?
And then later on saying, you will never know.
He wanted to be moved.
The case is replete with more facts, more moments of hmm than you could imagine.
Oliver Stone changed well.
Changed everything.
The Zapruder film came years ago in the 70s during a Geraldo Rivera show, Goodnight America or something, in the 78, 76, whatever it was.
Not then.
Later.
Nobody knew about the Zapruder film.
Nobody knew about this.
Until then.
Nobody saw it.
And to see it.
Wow.
And Out of nowhere came people dedicated forever and ever to investigating that event, investigating that story, investigating this murder.
This murder.
Who was it?
You've got one of two choices.
One, you can believe that it was, as the Warren Commission says, it was a lone gunman.
That was it.
One guy.
Man, the car car car.
Done.
Finished.
Threw.
That's it.
Or you can pursue another virtually unlimited series of fascinating alternative theories.
And again, I'm being pleased.
Remember what I'm doing.
I'm being very, very, very careful here.
Because we have learned one thing, that there are certain platforms, certain people, certain times, certain places, that they do not appreciate this.
That these forms, this wild conspiracy talk, that there's no room for this.
That it's deleterious, it's harmful.
But it's a reality.
And there are people who Because of that day, suspect everything of having another side to it.
Another aspect to it.
Another rabbit hole, if you will.
People who were red-pilled.
People who were forever changed by this.
The implications of this, you will never be able to explain.
You will never be able, ever, to put into context.
You will never be able to do it.
And everything starts with this one.
Everything.
And the more you read, and the more you investigate, aside from the Warren Commission, but if you ever even decide to go there, you will be absolutely waylaid by a series of stories, a series of alternative theories, of alternative hypotheses that will blow your mind, keep you up for the rest of your life.
Will we ever get to the definitive conclusion of this story?
Many people say we already have.
It's the Warren Commission.
What are you talking about?
Others will never be satisfied.
Never.
And will not be able to be.
By virtue of the information that is almost pertinear 60 years old with the critical witnesses and critical individuals.
Dead, gone, memory lapse, who knows?
And with a country and a people and a world who might be just a little tired, a little tired of just more bad news, more bad theories, and more bad implications of bad people that would do something this horrible in front of the world.
I could go on.
But I shan't.
