Now, I'm going to try to figure out a way to have a friend of mine who is a teacher.
Mrs. L and I were speaking to her yesterday and could not Believe what is happening to kids and how teachers, I don't know if they're ill-equipped, or excuse me, if they're equipped rather, there are some schools where the absentee rates of teachers is through the roof.
One guidance counselor, and these kids need guidance counseling like you cannot believe.
I want to talk about that for a moment.
As you know, everybody who's ever been of an older generation has always looked down at the younger generation and mocked them because they're stupid.
They did it with us.
They did it with you.
And this is not that case at all.
I never felt like this before.
I may have thought that kids were a little bit spoiled or this and that, but I never thought there was something systematically wrong with them across the board.
Our teacher friend said the other day that the effect of what social media and these instruments of distraction and destruction have done to kids you can't put into words.
These people these kids these folks these Young ambassadors to the future.
This is very important.
They are now unable to do things such as, as I told you before, and I'm going to say it again, because they've never had a ball, because they never did things like play ball,
hold a ball, hold objects, Play and stack and play catch and orient and develop binocular vision that allows them to judge depth and distance and just play with a ball.
Because they've never been able to do that.
They're unable now to hold pens and pencils.
Our friend, a teacher, said, these kids holding a pencil, It looks like they broke their fingers.
