Imagining the Day When We Run Out of Food and Water
If it seems inconceivable to you, that's the idea.
If it seems inconceivable to you, that's the idea.

I want you to think. | |
I want you to think about what this country would look like if everything that we knew, everything that we knew came to a complete and total halt.
But in particular, Energy, which we're kind of getting a little bit of a taste of, but nothing serious.
Because remember, when things go bad, gas prices, gas closing, gas shortages, gas stations, shutdown.
Remember the odd and even gas days during Jimmy Carter?
That's nothing. | |
I mean, we go crazy enough with that.
Because we're a country that just goes nuts over things.
We're the country that used to go nuts at Christmas time at a Best Buy when we had money and wanted to buy a plasma screen TV if they even make that anymore.
We go nuts over anything.
We're just this violent group of people ready to completely explode.
But two things. | |
Two things. | |
Food and water. | |
Can you imagine what this country would look like if people could not have water?
If you turned on faucets and nothing came out and no water, no toilets, no sanitation, hello cholera, hello dysentery, hello typhus, hello plagues.
Oh my God. | |
Nobody ever even imagines that because I'm telling you right now, The next casus belli, the next cause or reason for war will be water.
I'm telling you. | |
I'm telling you and I want you to listen.
And food, what was Anthony Blinken called it?
Food insecurity. | |
They're setting you up for this.
They're telling you it's coming.
What would that look like?
What would it look like and what would we look like?
Is that too dystopian for you?
I hope not. | |
Is that conspiracy theory-esque?
Call it what you want. | |
But you'd better think about it.
Because I am telling you, it's going to happen.
Because they're telling us it's going to happen.
It has to happen. | |
Because everything that can go wrong on purpose...
We'll go wrong on purpose.
Let me explain that to you.
But first, a word from our sponsor.
The recent string of mass shootings, especially those in schools, is bringing about stricter gun reform bills.
Congress has just passed the most significant gun reform bill we've seen in decades.
But bad guys will always have access to guns.
Unfortunately for law-abiding citizens, the Second Amendment has never been more at risk of being impinged upon and infringed upon than this year.
A new site is showing their support for the Second Amendment to create change, and you can get in on it too.
The support the second coin usually retails for $24.95, but is currently free for a limited time to bring awareness to the issues affecting gun owners today.
This coin has beautiful engravings on both sides, with one side stating in bold text, the Second Amendment is my gun permit.

There was a wonderful documentary years ago on BBC called The Power of Nightmares.
And I love the name of that, The Power of Nightmares.
It was beautiful, beautiful, glorious, glorious name.
And what it does is it invokes the idea of a great motivator when you use fear and terror to motivate people.
And you see, we are on the brink right now.
And one of the worst things that's ever happened to us is this notion of American exceptionalism.
It came kind of from the days and the old days of Reagan, but...
And it's not really his fault.
But we talked about the shining city on the hill.
And that's... | |
We're America. | |
That doesn't happen here.
Riots happen in other countries.
Food shortages. | |
Wars. | |
The closest we ever came to was 9-11.
Which we've completely forgotten about.
Completely. | |
We've moved on. | |
We just think we're in this bubble.
We think we're in this safe bubble where nothing bad ever happens to us.
Well, it does. | |
Believe me. | |
Let me talk about two things.
First of all, let's talk about water.
I've talked about this my entire career of commentary and the like.
35 plus years. | |
And hydroimperium will be the next casus belli.
The next cause or reason for war.
That's exactly what it's going to do.
War. | |
Because you can get off the gold standard.
You can do a lot of things.
You can have Bretton Woods for...
You can go crypto, you can do whatever, but you cannot get off the water standard.
And desalination doesn't work.
It doesn't. | |
Believe me when I tell you that.
It doesn't. | |
In fact, whenever you talk about our friend Mr. Gaddafi, we never really talk about the real reason why all of this happened, especially if you look at Libya.
Look where Libya is on our globe here.
This is my Famous Dollar Tree globe.
I use this more than you can imagine.
Always get a globe. | |
You have to look at a globe to see perspective.
Here's us, and here's the other side.
The other side of the world is what really is important.
Anyway, right on top of Libya, right on top of something called the Nubian Sandstone Aquifer, and Gaddafi pumped $25 billion he was going to put in there to make.
Libya arable. | |
To make it arable. | |
Farmable. | |
Water's critical. | |
Because it's right on top of this huge aquifer.
And what he did was, I would venture to say, in addition to his other particular shenanigans and daring to snub the Shadow government, New World operatives, was this idea that he was going to basically command all that water.
And that's not going to happen.
Look at why Iraq was so important.
The Tigris and the Euphrates.
What was that? | |
The Fertile Crescent. | |
And what is that? | |
That's called, very simply, the Garden of Eden.
And that was a bigger reason for that particular war.
And the geographic and political objectivity of that as well.
In any event, that's water.
Look at what Nestle is buying up.
Look at what the Bush family has bought up.
Water is going to be... | |
Water is... | |
I mean... | |
And when I'm saying this to you...
I know what you're thinking.
You're thinking, this guy's crazy.
We're always going to have water.
Water is everywhere. | |
Aquifers and reservoirs.
It's everywhere. | |
Really? | |
Really. | |
I'll tell you what. | |
If I were going to go after a country, first thing I would do is I would go after its grid, I would go after its power structure, I would go after its water.
But that's that. | |
But let's talk food. | |
You see, food is the thing which is the most interesting.
I talk to people about food and they have these crazy ideas that somehow they're going to buy a dehydrator.
I've heard this. | |
I'm going to get a dehydrator.
Really? | |
Yes. | |
Banana chips and jerky for the rest of our lives.
And how much of this do you have planned?
And how much do you have...
Well, I don't have anything stored, but I've got a garden.
Isn't that sweet? | |
Are you pickling things?
Are you going to have okra for...
How many months straight?
Are you ready for this? | |
See, they have no idea. | |
Because the hardest thing in the world is for people to understand what calamity looks like.
It's the reason why people smoke.
It's the reason why people smoke cigarettes because they can't imagine.
This could get cancer. | |
I could have COPD and I could die and I could end up this.
They can't. | |
They can't imagine this.
Food. | |
We'll always have food.
But food is not just about grain.
And produce. | |
It's processing. | |
And it's trucking. | |
And it's moving. | |
And getting it there. | |
And what are you going to do when Amazon owns everything?
I mean everything. | |
Do you see what's going on?
All of a sudden they say, it's not that we don't have...
Or maybe we could be, but what is it that you want?
Flour? | |
Bread? | |
Let me give you an example of something.
This is something I'll never forget.
Here in New York, this neck of the woods, whenever there's a snowstorm, whenever there's some big nor 'easter coming, there's two things that people always run out of.
Milk. | |
And bread. | |
I have no idea. | |
God forbid you're stuck in a room with some lactose intolerant person and it's dangerous.
Let me just leave it at that.
During COVID, people went nuts buying toilet paper.
What the hell? | |
Toilet paper? | |
There was no gastrointestinal distress associated with COVID.
Where did toilet paper come from?
Remember hand sanitizers?
Couldn't keep that unstuck.
One son of a gun was caught hoarding and I thought they were going to...
Lynch this fellow. | |
I mean, it's beyond my level of comprehension as to how crazy we get.
And that's still having it.
We didn't go crazy. | |
When you see a store closed, have you seen an entire city converge?
How many stores do you have in your town?
How many do you have? | |
Do you have a Costco? | |
Do you have a good? | |
Do you have stores? | |
And supermarkets and maybe smaller individual stores.
Great. | |
Do you know what it's like when the whole town converges on them?
Do you know what that's going to look like?
Imagine. | |
And people get crazy. | |
During gas shortages, remember they had that, there was a ransomware and stuff?
I never even know what. | |
Did we ever find out what happened with that?
Of course not. | |
It's just, we just kind of move on.
Imagine going to stores everywhere in your town.
It's closed. | |
There's nothing. | |
They're all converging and people are closing because they're freaking out.
And there's no food. | |
And people start to panic.
Do you think this is beyond the realm of possibility?
Do you think I'm just...
What? | |
This can't happen, right?
You firmly believe that.
Because this is America.
Things like that don't happen here.
Now do they? | |
Yes, they do. | |
And I'm telling you, think about this.
Who's planning this? | |
Who's thinking about it?
You think Biden is? | |
You think this administration?
You think Carmelita Harris?
Maybe Kareem Jean-Pierre can give us an update on this.
Nobody's thinking about this.
Because running out of food and water is like running out of land, dirt or air or gravity.
It's this ubiquitous thing that we've always...
What believed was there.
There has been a complete and total reset of the world.
All of the rules in the past don't apply anymore.
I can't make it any clearer than that.
I can't. | |
Now, I'm not here. | |
I'm not one of these doomsayers.
That's not my bag. | |
It's not what I do. | |
But I want you to think. | |
And I'm telling you, I'm betting on this.
Not the end of civilization.
Not the end of humanity.
But huge, because even, I mean, the world survived two nuclear bombs and things.
Everything comes back together.
There's a certain ebb and flow and recycling.
But I don't want to be there during this tumult.
I can't take this. | |
We almost lost our mind with COVID.
And that was, by comparison, pretty easy.
What we have in store is inconceivable.
But what I'm telling you is it's not that which bothers me.
It's the reaction from my fellow Americans.
Put it differently, these people are crazy.
I mean, seriously, I don't recognize my fellow man anymore.
I don't recognize this.
And when you have something which is catastrophic, you can forget about it.
Let that sink in. | |
