| I never thought this milestone would be possible, but even despite all the hate, the attacks, and the censorship, we managed to make it through and find each other here on Liberty Hangout. | |
| From the bottom of my heart, I thank God for each and every one of you. | |
| Thank you for amplifying my voice and seeing something in me worth supporting. | |
| You have made it possible for me to do this for a living and discover the gifts God gave me to help build his kingdom. | |
| And thank you to my amazing husband, Justin, who started this platform 10 years ago before we'd even met. | |
| To celebrate this moment with you, I wanted to take a little trip down memory lane. | |

| Welcome to the first ever Liberty Hangout podcast. | |
| My name is Justin. | |
| I'm the founder of LibertyHangout.org, and we've got a fun show scheduled for tonight. | |
| We are among the very first to actually talk to John about his presidential campaign. | |

| Let's give another big hand to one of the bravest young people in this country taking the fight for liberty to the heart of liberalism, and that is college campuses. | |
| Ladies and gentlemen, Caitlin Bennett. | |
| I'm Caitlin Bennett. | |
| And if you thought I was going to go away after taking my graduation photo last year, you were dead wrong. | |
| I'm not going away anytime soon, and I will always stand up for what I believe in. | |
| It shouldn't be controversial for a woman to protect herself or even carry a rifle. | |
| Yeah, because I did exactly what liberals don't want me to do. | |
| I went viral because of a photo. | |
| When you go out and do things, they're very man-on-the-street. | |
| And I'm going to put my mic and let's talk. | |
| What's your goal then? | |
| I want to expose these people. | |
| I want to expose them for how intolerant they are. | |
| I was getting hundreds of followers by the minute and countless death threats. | |
| And honestly, at that point, I wanted to delete my Twitter and I wanted to hide from all the hateful messages I was getting. | |
| But because of the support of Justin and my family, I eventually learned to ignore it and become a stronger person because of it. | |
| We fund public education. | |
| We fund public universities. | |
| Take the funding away from these people. | |
| We know they don't have jobs. | |
| They're using my tax dollars to come in here and try to fight me. | |
| If my little blonde and beautiful girlfriend can stand up for our rights and take the heat the way that she has, there is no reason that anyone in this crowd or in this country that believes in the same things that we do should not be able to do it themselves. | |
| Over the past two months, I've had to deal with Caitlin on a daily basis, getting thousands and thousands of death threats in her Twitter inbox from the peaceful and tolerant left to the point where even the FBI is investigating these threats into her. | |
| So if she can do it, there's no more excuses. | |
| We got to take back our rights. | |
| And that starts on college campuses because young people are the future of liberty. | |
| I'm not stopping. | |
