Why Gun Control Targets Minorities
00:09:28
|
|
| These white politicians in leftist-run cities want to take away black women's rights to protect ourselves. | |
| I just think it's ridiculous. | |
| That's what they do. | |
| It's like a mascot. | |
| They put you in front and then they run their agenda back. | |
| When you look at the history of gun control, it was used to take away guns from minorities and the black men and women who just wanted to protect their family. | |
| If anything, you would want black men and women to be able to protect their families from anybody trying to break in. | |
| It all started with them taking away your guns. | |
| You can't protect yourself. | |
| You're gonna, okay, it's fine for the police to protect you, but what if they can't get to you fast enough? | |
| Does it worry you that a women's march is not advocating for women's rights? | |
| Absolutely, because they perpetuate this narrative of rape culture. | |
| They perpetuate this narrative that women are being oppressed in America and that white and all these things. | |
| But how can we defend ourselves if you're taking away our one right from the Constitution that allows us to defend ourselves? | |
| It's very contradictory and it's super hypocritical, I think, from the left. | |
| Yeah, I feel like they want to stay in victimhood. | |
| It seems like a stuck mentality, like they're just in a wheel and they just want to keep going, which is very weird. | |
| If you say that you're for women's rights, then why not support what can help you to protect yourself? | |
| And if you say you're for women's rights, why support abortion? | |
| Like the things that they say is like, it doesn't make any sense to me, but to each his own, I guess. | |
| So you brought up white s and I happened to notice you were black. | |
| So right? | |
| You identify, identify as black. | |
| So my question is, when people say that guns harm people of color or minority people, what is your response to that? | |
| Because they always say that we have to make sure that, you know, I don't want to say these words and get demonetized, but white neo-n have to keep the guns out of their hands because they're just running around killing black people. | |
| That is a very false narrative because the Second Amendment is open to anyone who wants to take that right. | |
| So how can you say that white stopping you from protecting yourself or anything of that thing? | |
| It goes back to victimhood and wanting to stay ignorant, which is the problem, which is one of the problems that we have in America. | |
| We should want to be educated. | |
| We should want to do more research, not just go with whatever the media tells us because it all started with them taking away your guns. | |
| You can't protect yourself. | |
| You're going to, okay, it's fine for the police to protect you, but what if they can't get to you fast enough? | |
| Like, what then? | |
| So I think that you should want that right, but I don't know. | |
| I believe black people, or especially minorities, are directly affected by gun laws. | |
| I believe, you can see Houston, Houston, and Chicago has the exact same population, exact same number of black people. | |
| Well, look at what's happening. | |
| Chicago has the most strictest gun laws, and you have Houston with the most. | |
| Exactly. | |
| And we have this, and you can see the gun crimes. | |
| There's, I think, three times more cops in Chicago than there is in Houston. | |
| But look at the crimes. | |
| It's crazy, right? | |
| This is how it works. | |
| If you can't protect yourself, if somebody can't protect yourself, another person can infringe on your rights to live by committing crimes against God. | |
| So I feel like if I have kids, I want to protect myself and my kids in my house. | |
| I don't have a gun right now, but if I have a home, I'm not going to stand there on the door saying, oh, oh, well, that's it. | |
| And I believe that's the most important thing. | |
| Gun rights directly affects, I believe all gun laws are r every single one is and I believe that's the most important thing that should happen. | |
| Yeah. | |
| Yeah, yeah. | |
| And in short, criminals don't follow gun law. | |
| Sure. | |
| Simple as that. | |
| Criminals don't. | |
| They won't. | |
| They obtain the guns illegally or by any means that they can. | |
| Now, us law-abided citizens were left defenseless. | |
| So it's like gun control, it helps the criminal. | |
| It's like a mousetrap, kind of, for law-abiding citizens. | |
| And it makes their job easier. | |
| Imagine that helping out criminals. | |
| Sounds like a Democrat. | |
| Okay, you have something to say. | |
| Yeah, but when you look at the history of gun control, it was used to take away guns for minorities and the black men and women who just wanted to protect their family. | |
| If anything, you would want black men and women to be able to protect their families from anybody trying to break in. | |
| When you look at the statistics of like Texas, for example, versus New York or California, gun crime, homicides, all of it is the stats are lower. | |
| I mean, that's just fact for itself. | |
| Why would you want to disarm the black community from being able to protect themselves from people who would like to harm themselves? | |
| I mean, harm people in the community. | |
| What I always have never understood is that they say black people are oppressed. | |
| They're targeted. | |
| If you guys are so oppressed, wouldn't you want a gun to be able to protect yourself? | |
| Yes, exactly. | |
| Absolutely. | |
| We should be able to protect ourselves and defend ourselves. | |
| And another interesting point of view is like our community specifically deals with gun violence. | |
| We deal with gun violence. | |
| We deal with these issues of the crime rates. | |
| And I just think it's preposterous that these single mothers and these women and just people in general go defenseless because they want to take these white politicians in leftist-run cities want to take away black women's rights to protect ourselves. | |
| I just think it's ridiculous. | |
| That's what they do. | |
| It's like a mascot. | |
| They put you in front and then they run their agenda in the back. | |
| Obama was a puppet. | |
| I just had to say that. | |
| But I just wanted to say that the oppression is really a myth. | |
| Like, no one can oppress you but yourself. | |
| Like, all you have to do is make good choices in life, which good choices equals a good life. | |
| Like, you have to take personal responsibility. | |
| You don't blame the white man or the white person for your downfall. | |
| Like, every race has its obstacles. | |
| Every person in general, born, life is not easy. | |
| You're going to run into obstacles, but you can't just point a finger and be like, oh, it's your fault. | |
| Well, I didn't do this. | |
| Actually, it's your fault. | |
| Because if you want to blame somebody, think about this. | |
| You allow them to stop you. | |
| Because you have to change your mindset and be like, well, I'm going to be determined to do this. | |
| I'm not going to let nobody stop me. | |
| It's all about self-responsibility. | |
| Boy, you couldn't have said it better than me. | |
| That was perfect. | |
| Self-responsibility, self-choices. | |
| This coward is going. | |
| Governor of Blackface, Virginia is strong. | |
| Virginia is strong. | |
| We're going to come back. | |
| Come back. | |
| Local media and mainstream media kept trying to brand this event as it sounds like mainstream media. | |
| They feel like that's what they use. | |
| They use to connect to people's feelings. | |
| Because if you think about, they take away the fact. | |
| You know that any human being, you can just relate to them. | |
| If you feel like someone can relate to you, you're going to be more vulnerable and be like, oh, okay, yes, you understand me. | |
| So this is the emotion that comes in because actually is at is low if for me from what I've seen. | |
| Like I've lived and visited a lot of places in America and I have seen very little racism. | |
| So I don't think that that is a big thing in America, especially for the black community. | |
| The biggest thing for black community actually is illegal immigration. | |
| If you ask me, they pushing y'all out because y'all not doing right. | |
| And they bringing illegal aliens in and they want their votes. | |
| In New York, they just had a whole bunch of illegal people getting IDs. | |
| How? | |
| How is that possible? | |
| Like, where? | |
| Where? | |
| That's the problem, if you ask me, but hey, I love you. | |
| I love you're saying everything they're telling you you're not allowed to say because of your skin color. | |
| They tell you you're not allowed to say that. | |
| You can't talk about illegal immigration. | |
| You're black. | |
| You have to think X, Y, and Z. You guys are breaking the mold. | |
| I love it. | |
| I love it. | |
| As a means of control. | |
| They want to control us. | |
| They want to control our vote. | |
| It's very simple. | |
| They want to keep us on the Democratic Party side. | |
| And the way that they do that is saying, oh, discrimination, white supremacy. | |
| You have to vote for us because the other side is bad and we're really good even though we oppress you guys through our policies. | |
| But this is what they do to keep us in line. | |
| And we just, we don't, we want to break the mold. | |
| It's time. | |
| It's time. | |
| It's time for the time. | |
| 60 years is too long. | |
| Like, yo, I don't really want to say it's a choice, but Kanye said it best. | |
| Like, how can it be 60 years and you see a pattern? | |
| How do you continue with the pattern? | |
| Like, I don't, you have to break the mindset. | |
| That's all I can say. | |
| Break the mindset, change everything. | |
| Start homes come in schooling your kids because a lot of these colleges and schools are indoctrinated. | |
| I'm just saying. | |
| The left, the left, they control it. | |
| They control the media. | |
| They control the schools. | |
| They control everything. | |
| So it's time for everyone else to take it back. | |
| Go back and see your, depending on our communities, Depending on your peers, the people around you. | |
| Like, less government, the better, if you ask me. | |
