Time Text
Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, welcome to Radio Renaissance.
I'm your host, Jared Taylor, and today is January 9th, year of our Lord, 2025. And as usual, I'd like to start with comments from listeners.
I am somewhat upbraided in the first one, which begins like this.
Mr. Taylor, I'm compelled respectfully to complain for the shots you took at West Virginians.
All of our people everywhere have suffered immeasurably under the iron fist of a government and a host of institutions that work to destroy them.
No, people should not be obese and dye their hair green, but they have been preyed upon and they are absolutely rudderless.
I've learned much from you over the years and I am grateful for you.
However, I felt particularly hurt when I saw your host laughing and giddy.
Well, yes, I did say some rude things about West Virginians in an interview, and as soon as I said them, I immediately regretted it.
And as has been pointed out to me, and it's certainly true, the people of West Virginia are very good-hearted, generous people.
And without a doubt, if there is going to be any kind of really nationalist Revival in the United States, working class whites will be an immensely important part of it.
So, yes, indeed, I regret the things that I said, especially in a conversation with a man who really has nothing but contempt for our race in general, as far as I can tell.
So, that was a mistake, and I promise never to speak that way about West Virginians again.
Here's another comment.
I'd like to clarify my question that was addressed on last week's podcast about the possibility of importing people to make up for sub-replacement fertility in the United States.
In your answer, you put too much emphasis on responding to the term economic growth.
If we don't want to replace ourselves, it will be a matter not just of economic growth.
Who will be our future workforce funding Social Security and Medicare?
How will we fund maintaining our military superiority in the face of a rising superpower like China?
Who will maintain our infrastructure?
A shrinking population and economy is almost always a dying one.
Well, as it happened, We had another comment from a listener that is a kind of answer to the question, and I will read this answer first before I add a few points of my own.
This other listener says, Thank you for your lucid discussion of our looming population decline and its potential effect on the country's wealth.
I will clearly state I am prepared to be poorer if that means we become whiter.
It's difficult to convey this idea to our fellow Americans.
American cultural life doesn't teach us to think in terms of becoming poorer, at least not voluntarily.
So it's difficult to relate this idea to normal Americans who don't think deeply about these issues.
What is the best way to relate this idea to our folk?
After all, America became great far before we hit 350 million people, when it was overwhelmingly white.
My hypothesis is if we formed an ethno-state of 100 million whites, Now, I will confess that this answer, although it's one of which I approve, does not specifically address this question of paying off the national debt, maintaining infrastructure, keeping armed forces going.
All of these are, of course, matters of money.
So, to the extent that money is fungible, what doesn't make us wealthier could go into Maintaining infrastructure and keeping our soldiers fighting in fighting trim.
Now, the debt, paying off that debt, is an especially terrible thing, even if our population were to continue to grow.
My recollection is that the national debt at this point is about $240,000 per taxpayer.
This is an incredible amount.
I don't believe it will ever be paid off, no matter what the population of the United States reaches.
I believe also that it has been a terrible and irresponsible thing for our leaders to pile up this kind of debt that, if it is to be paid, must be paid only by future generations.
I think what they've done is absolutely criminal.
And again, $240,000 per Taxpayer.
That is, as I recall, about $100,000 more than the median net worth of an American household.
So, this is an enormously irresponsible thing.
How do we pay this off?
Well, it gets back to the question of what we are prepared to tolerate in the name of maintaining infrastructure or maintaining armed forces.
You could argue that we will need less infrastructure if our population declines.
I don't much like that idea, but that's one way of looking at it.
You could also argue that our armed forces are bloated and overblown.
We spend all of this money fighting wars overseas that are not really useful for our defense.
And who will pay Social Security?
Who will pay Medicare?
We will, if need be, have to do with less generous subsidies of that kind.
I will point out that now that I am a geezer, I am on Social Security and Medicare.
And I will tell you that Medicare is the best medical insurance I ever had.
It's the most generous and the most forgiving medical insurance I ever had.
Is that really a good use of the money that people who are working today, is that the best use of their money?
I don't know.
There are all sorts of adjustments that can and need be made.
I am prepared, just like the second commenter, to make sacrifices, even in what comes out of my pocket.
I think that's the most obvious place to make a sacrifice.
If that's what it takes to keep America white, that is what matters most to me.
Whiter and poorer, rather than richer and less white.
If we count on importing people who are not white...
Ultimately, we will be genetically swamped.
We are already headed towards being a minority.
And once we are genetically swamped, there is no coming back poor or rich.
And so, again, my position is and always will be better poorer but whiter.
Another comment.
When is your indispensable co-host coming back?
Not sure about that.
It could be in another few weeks.
But another commenter says, You are better off without him.
That seems a little harsh to me.
I enjoyed the back and forth with Paul Kersey, and he helped prepare part of the podcast, which took some of the burden off of me.
But I suppose I should ask the $64 question.
Am I better off without my indispensable, incondiscent co-host?
Well, if you are...
Willing to express an opinion on this, and please be candid.
The way to reach me is to go to the AMREN website, amren.com, and hit the Contact Us page, and your messages will come straight to me.
And whether or not it is opining on my incandescent co-host, or whether I'm wrong about population growth and sub-replacent fertility and economic survival, I'd love to hear from you, especially when I make mistakes.
The older I get, the more I make.
And I far prefer not to be speaking fiction.
The idea is to speak non-fiction when I'm speaking publicly, but a certain amount of unintended fiction inevitably comes in.
So, please reach me at the Contact Us tab at amran.com Now, moving to Britain.
The whole sex grooming scandal.
That has been in the news sporadically, oh, must be on 15 or more years now, is back in the news.
This, of course, is the case of these absolutely brutal acts by overwhelmingly Pakistani people living in Great Britain who took advantage of vulnerable, underage, white girls, usually got friendly with them, plied them with alcohol, bought them food.
Bought them drugs.
And then once they were sort of in their power, they started raping them, passing them around as hunks of meat.
Just one horrible thing after another.
This is back in the news.
Mostly, it seems, thanks to Elon Musk making a huge deal about this.
And there have been a number of newspaper articles that have gone into just how horrible this was and just how awful the local reaction to what was going on was.
And there are going to be a few things that I think young ears should be protected from, but I will go right ahead.
Now is the time to turn down your volume, if you wish.
In Telford, when one victim aged 12 told her mother, That is the kind of opposition people got.
The authorities in Telford looked the other way.
This is a constant theme.
Even when the authorities knew about these Pakistanis who were doing the worst possible things to underage white girls, the idea was, no, no, no, no, can't make a fuss about this.
This might fuel the extreme right.
As I recall, people were worried that the BNP, the British National Party, at that time was the one patriotic party in Britain.
Oh, no, no, we can't give them more votes.
And, of course, suspects were not investigated because that would have been politically incorrect.
Council staff and the city council were terrified that the abusive children had the potential to start a race riot, and perhaps rightly so.
It might have been better if there had been a race riot.
Call attention to what was going on.
In Rotherham, a senior police officer told a distressed father that the town would erupt.
If the continued widespread abuse of white children by Pakistani men became public knowledge, keep it quiet.
This is so disgusting to me.
Absolutely disgusting.
The father of a 15-year-old rape victim was told that the assault might mean she would learn her lesson.
In fact, the ordeal had been so brutal, so cruel, that she required reconstructive surgery.
Girls as young as 11 were raped by large numbers of men, one after another.
Girls as young as 11. A senior police officer said the abuse had been going on for 30 years, but added that with it being Asians, we can't afford this to be coming out.
Now, I mean...
There's more of this, and I'll get into more of this, but I cannot resist saying at this moment, the idea of protecting underage girls from rape, especially from rape by aliens, people who are foreigners, people who don't even belong in your country, the idea of being unwilling to do this really is something that reflects the depths beyond which I don't know how far white men can go.
Has there ever been anything white men have done that is so disgusting as to look the other way when their own daughters, underage women, are being exploited in this utterly, utterly brutal way for fear of offending the sensibilities of Pakistanis?
This is such a colossal spinelessness, moral failure, it makes my blood boil.
That was another one of the towns where they had some of the worst plague of this kind of abuse.
The city council was terrified of the impact on community cohesion.
So community cohesion requires that middle-aged Muslim men be allowed to rape underage white girls?
In Manchester, a 2019 report included that gangs were left to roam the streets because officers were told...
To look the other way, yes.
Community cohesion.
Community cohesion.
It requires this sort of stuff.
In Rochdale, or Rochdale, I'm not sure how it's pronounced, 15-year-old Victoria Agaglia died in 2003 when 50-year-old Mohammed Yaqub injected her with heroin.
And across the town, girls as young as 12 were being gang raped.
In at least two cases, and this is astonishing to me, fathers tracked down their daughters and tried to remove them.
From the houses where they were being held and repeatedly abused, the police arrested the fathers.
The police dared not act against Asians for fear of allegations of racism.
Arrested the fathers.
I guess they were disturbing the peace.
Or maybe they were accused of trespassing when they barged into some place and said, stop raping my daughter.
What in heaven's name?
When one victim decided to go to the police, Her abuser appears to have been tipped off.
While still in the police station, one child received a text from a Pakistani telling her that he had her 11-year-old sister and that it was now your choice.
You rat me out and no telling what I'll do to your 11-year-old sister.
Believe it or not, the child chose not to go through with her complaint.
This is nightmarish stuff.
Absolutely nightmarish.
Here's another one.
Despite being stripped of British citizenship, the leader of the Rochdale grooming gang still lives among his victims.
And despite being ordered to be deported, he's still there.
I guess probably people see his face every day.
People that he abused in the most horrible, degrading way.
One aspect of this, of course, is that no police officer or government employee has ever been imprisoned for this misconduct.
There have been a few letters of reprimand.
Nobody, as far as I know, has even been fired.
Nobody has gone to jail.
And Rupert Lowe of the British Reform Party says, deportations and prosecutions, lots of them.
That's what's required.
He goes on to say, that includes family members who are aware of what their husbands, fathers, sons, and brothers were doing.
Yes, there is a certain collective responsibility here.
Robert Jenrick, he is the Tory Shadow Secretary for Justice.
He says, and good for him, mass migration must end immediately, and the foreign nationals prosecuted for their monstrous crimes must be deported, no ifs, no buts.
Well, it's all very fine to be saying these things now.
All very fine.
Why weren't people saying them at the time?
I'm glad to see a little bit more backbone.
But this is, again, a moral and, I don't know, ultimately racial...
Failure.
It's a failure of the soul.
I suspect that if something like this happened in the United States, if blacks or Mexicans were preying on underage 11, 12, 13, 14-year-old white girls, you'd get some folks who'd go down and find them and kill them.
It wouldn't care if they risked going to jail themselves.
I think white American men, if this were going on, certainly at anything like the scale it was going on.
Thousands of girls.
Raped, handed around like pieces of meat, in some cases killed.
If this were going on, white men in the United States would do something.
Maybe that's one of the good things about having arms.
But, no, this to me is really one of the most despicable collapses of morale, of just a lack of backbone among white people.
I can hardly think of anything worse.
Meanwhile, labor MPs...
Just voted down a Tory demand, a conservative demand, for a new national inquiry into the grooming gangs.
The vote was 364 to 111, because Labour has this supermajority.
Prime Minister Keir Starmer, he has endured a barrage of attacks from Elon Musk and from others, after it was revealed that the government has declined a request.
For a nationally-led inquiry into the horrors that transpired in Oldham.
Now, this is an interesting aspect of it.
As it turns out, Keir Starmer, in his younger days, between 2008 and 2013, he was the director of public prosecutions, just at a time when some of the worst of this was going on, and there is no question that a national inquiry could put the focus on What he was doing.
How asleep was Sir Keir Starber at the switch?
In any case, no national inquiry at this point.
Well, let's hope that the barrage of criticism continues and they can be shamed into doing something about this absolute horrible blot on the history of Great Britain.
Now, there's been a lot of talk about India.
H-1B visas.
More than 70% of H-1B visas go to Indians.
And about 12% go to Chinese, as I recall.
And about 1%, maybe 1%, go to white people.
H-1B visas, you know, about 600,000 of those in working at any time, at any one time in the United States.
Now, so here, it's always good to know a little bit about the countries that are sending us these wonderful workers without which apparently the wheels of industry would grind to a halt.
And this is a story about...
Midrul Kumar, a resident of Banda in North India's populous state of Uttar Pradesh, was jailed in 2018 for assaulting a neighbor.
Well, Midrul, as it turned out, is a Dalit.
Dalits are the lowest of the Hindu caste hierarchy, and Midrul used to sell egg rolls from a cart in his hometown.
And he figured that when they gave him a job in prison, he would have a job in the kitchen.
Nope.
He was asked, because of his cast, to clean the sewers.
You see, he was a Dalit, an untouchable soap, can't touch food.
Mijrul raised this with the deputy jail superintendent, who took note and assigned him to utensil cleaning duty.
In other words, kitchen police, washing the dishes, and also to help with the cooking duty.
However, other inmates protested.
They didn't want to touch food touched by a Dalit.
Indian Police Service Senior Officer Manoj Kumar recalls another similar incident.
He says, I remember a Dalit inmate was once assigned to serve food, but this was so loudly protested by other inmates.
Including the others who cooked food, that over 50% of the inmates did not eat food that day.
Well, you know, one thing that you can almost always count on prisoners to do, they don't have much fun, and they are usually pretty regular to their meal, but half of them refused to eat the food that had been touched by an untouchable.
The police officer says the authorities had to put this Dalit inmate on some other duty.
As it turns out, there's something called the Indian Jail Manual.
And, despite recent amendments, it considers the whole question of caste.
And it requires, for example, that people from the scavenger class, the metar, if they are in prison, they should be handling human excreta in prison toilets.
This, of course, institutionalizes caste within prisons.
He is an activist who has worked with inmates for decades trying to get rid of caste in prisons.
He says, Caste-based discrimination is commonplace, beginning right from the jail register when a prisoner's caste must be recorded.
Dalit prisoners face discriminatory treatment the moment their caste is documented.
Work assignments in jail are made according to caste.
Dalits are forced to sweep and clean toilets.
If they refuse, they face physical abuse and torture.
The dominant caste prisoners force Dalits to do their personal chores and address them with caste-based slurs and abuse.
I wonder what a caste-based slur and caste-based abuse are.
It'd be interesting to know various Indian languages and see just...
What kind of formulations they come up with?
Whether they're just crude, whether they're creative, who knows?
It's just an interesting sort of thing.
You can insult people according to their caste.
Now, there have been attempts in the United States to make caste discrimination illegal.
But there are Indian-American groups actively working to preserve caste privileges, the very same ones they enjoy, even if they're living in the United States.
There's something called the Hindu American Foundation and something called the Coalition of Hindus of North America.
They have been particularly vocal against bills such as California's SB 403 that was supposed to ban caste discrimination.
How do they defend caste discrimination?
They say it could promote Hindu phobia.
I guess the very idea that you're taking notice of it, the very idea that lower caste people might be mistreated by upper caste people who might complain, that could result in Hinduphobia, ladies and gentlemen.
So curb your Hinduphobia and just look the other way while the Dalits clean the toilets.
The HAF, the Hindu American Foundation, has even described caste as a British-created legal category.
Arguing that recognizing caste discrimination legally would perpetuate colonial violence.
Can you believe this?
The Brits invented caste.
Oh boy, the lengths to which people go to blame others for what they themselves do.
In fact, caste is talked about, as I recall, in the laws of Manu and the Bhagavad Gita.
The Bhagavad Gita is one of the most holiest, revered books in all of Hinduism.
The Bhagavad Gita is, as I recall, somewhere from around, oh, maybe the 5th to 2nd century BC. BC, that's well before the British showed up.
The laws of Manu are 1st, 3rd century AD, as I recall.
But no, no, caste, you know, that's something that those oppressive Brits just forced it on us, poor egalitarian Indians who were loving each other, holding hands and singing the Hindu equivalent of Kumbaya.
As it turns out, the opposition from Indians has been strong enough to influence legal outcomes.
In the case of this California SB 403 that was supposed to outlaw caste discrimination, Governor Gavin Newsom vetoed it.
He vetoed it because of pressure from these groups.
Conversely, there are significant movements within the Indian groups in the United States.
Including from Dalit and lower class activists who are militating very vigorously for these laws.
So, whose ox is gored?
Who has got the sacred cow?
Well, all of these problems are brought to the United States thanks to our immigration system and probably increasingly thanks to H-1B visa recipients, the overwhelming majority of which are Indians.
There is pretty interesting news out of the mouth of Mark Zuckerberg, boss of Meta and Facebook.
He has admitted that both companies censored conservative opinions on an industrial scale, but now he has reformed.
He has promised to go and sin no more.
He's going to make both sides beacons of free speech.
We're going to get rid of fact-checkers, he says, and replace them with community notes, similar to X, beginning in the United States.
As is the case with X, Elon Musk's X, the shift will allow users on the sites to call out posts that are potentially misleading and need more context.
It seems to be working pretty well on X, if you see something that really seems out of bounds, silly, wrong.
You can try to correct it.
It's sort of like a Wikipedia, but one that is not throttled by censors who are controlling the thing and pushing it all in one particular direction.
Now, it seems to me that if they fire all their censors, this should save Mehta and Mr. Zuckerberg, who isn't nearly rich enough, I'm sure, according to his own desires, save them millions of dollars.
My recollection is that there are Thousands, tens of thousands of people who work for Meta who are constantly censoring things.
Just let them all go.
Let the market decide.
Let the users decide.
And Zuckerberg, he took a shot at what he called governments and legacy media for pushing him to censor more.
He then went on to say the recent elections also feel like a cultural tipping point towards once again prioritizing speech.
The recent elections.
Now, this to me is cowardly, stupid, spineless.
He says, just because Donald Trump was elected, that means we can prioritize free speech.
What an utter dope.
Free speech should be your goal, no matter who's in power.
This, this, really, this almost undercuts everything.
You're saying, oh, we're going to be a beacon of free speech.
As long as Donald Trump's in power.
Hey, hey, what if Kamala wins next time?
Ah, well, then we're just going to go back to censoring everything.
Make Kamala happy.
In any case, she said the company would work to bring more political content back to the timeline of users, giving them the option to customize how much of it they see.
Well, that's a good idea.
I've always thought that on these platforms, if you don't want to see particular kinds of content, don't subscribe to the people who are producing it.
It's pretty simple.
He says, Meta will also get rid of a bunch of restrictions on topics like immigration and gender.
We are just out of touch with mainstream discourse.
And it's the election of Donald Trump that woke you up to that?
Oh, pitiful.
In any case, the changes will affect Facebook and Instagram, two of the largest social media sites which boast millions of users.
I used to have a Facebook account.
I used to have an Instagram account.
I used to have two different Facebook accounts, sequentially, mind you.
I had one that I had been silent on for, oh, months and months and months and months.
I was booted without any kind of notice or explanation.
And then I decided to open up a new Facebook account with a new telephone number, as I recall, a new email address, everything new.
And that lasted for, I would say, about six months.
And I used it exclusively in the way that Facebook was originally set up to be used.
That is, communicating with friends and family.
Mostly family.
That lasted about six months, and that was blasted.
Again, despite the fact that I was pure as the driven snow.
Not one bit of politics involved.
Likewise, Instagram.
My children like to take photographs.
I sometimes take photographs.
And wherever we would go, we would take what we thought were nice pictures and send them to each other.
That's all I used Instagram for.
Bam!
Blasted out of the water.
Just because I am the wicked Jared Taylor.
No, I almost feel like starting up Facebook and Instagram again.
Instagram was particularly painful to me because I used Instagram as a kind of an archive for what I thought were my best and most interesting pictures.
But when my account was blasted, all of those photographs disappeared.
Likewise, all of the comments I had made on my children's photographs and on a few other people with whom I exchanged photographs, it was as if I had never existed.
I was wiped off the face of Instagram.
Well, we'll see if they let me come back.
Under this new regime, of course, if a Democrat gets re-elected, perhaps, bam, I'd be gone again.
Now this, to me, is really rather...
Well, what am I to say?
You can decide for yourself.
Zuckerberg recently donated a million dollars to Trump's inaugural fund in a complete reversal on past relations between the two.
Boy, oh boy.
What does this tell us about these people?
They're just going to buy whoever's in office.
That's, of course, what Donald Trump used to say.
He would give money.
This was before he was president.
He said, I give money to Democrats.
I give money to Republicans.
That way I can get favors no matter who gets elected.
Yeah, money sure talks, doesn't it?
Of course, after the January 6th, this article calls it insurrection, insanely enough, of four years ago, Donald Trump was suspended from Facebook for two years.
He was reinstated in 2023, months after he announced his third run for the White House.
At least, Mark Zuckerberg didn't wait until Trump was elected president before letting him back on Facebook.
And in August of last year, Zuckerberg admitted that the Biden administration had demanded Facebook censor what it called COVID misinformation.
He admitted...
In a letter to the House Judiciary Committee Chair Jim Jordan that he will now fight back against any attempts at censorship.
Oh, boy.
I mean, this is...
Why didn't he fight back before?
I guess he realizes that this administration is different from the last one.
Again, is this guy a weatherman?
Is he going to just turn if things change again?
He also admitted that his company had demoted stories about Hunter Biden's laptop.
So, I don't know.
If you can stick to your guns this time, Zucker boy, that'll be great.
But I will be keeping a close eye on you.
Now, this is an article from Heather MacDonald, and I will read a considerable portion from it because I think Heather MacDonald is a national treasure.
I believe that of all the people still writing for the mainstream media, and she writes for the Manhattan Institute's, I believe, what is it called, Manhattan Magazine?
Uh-oh, I've gotten that wrong.
But she writes long and really hard-hitting pieces.
As I say, I'm going to read quite a lot of this, but as I read along, remember that this is not an article from American Renaissance.
It's not from some...
Racial Dissident, posting on X. This is from a mainstream publication.
Heather MacDonald writes for the Wall Street Journal very frequently as well.
And in this case, it's from the Manhattan Institute magazine.
She talks about the alternative for Deutschland.
Now, of course, it has been an increasingly successful party, and it was very significant.
Late last year, it came in first place in the state elections in Thuringia.
It came in second in the state elections in Saxony.
But all the other parties refused to do business with it.
So, I will leap to the point where she starts talking about this.
Heather McDonald writes, AFD is a leper in German political life due to the party's opposition to lax immigration policies.
Germany's Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution.
Isn't that a great name?
Another name, really, for the East German Stasi.
It is a domestic intelligence agency for the protection of the Constitution.
These spies are busily protecting the Constitution.
They probably trample it every day.
It has granted itself the authority to surveil the party, which it deems a threat to democracy.
It's winning too many votes.
That's a real threat.
Over 17% of the German population These days are first-generation immigrants.
17%.
That's a higher percentage than in the United States, where fewer than 14% of the population was foreign-born in 2022. We think of Germany, and up until just a few decades ago, we were right.
We think of it as a white country.
It is being swamped.
17% of first-generation immigrants, and many people who were there before have already had children.
I don't know what percentage of Germany is non-white, but people tell me even out in the countryside you see women walking around in burqas, followed by scads of little children.
They are just as fecund in Germany as they are anywhere else.
55% of the Syrians, Syrians of course swarmed in under Angela Merkel, even if they've been In Germany for at least eight years, 55% were on welfare in 2023. 55% compared to 5% of native Germans.
These people are a dead loss.
More than 60% of the people in Germany who depend on government benefits for income are foreign-born or second generation.
And if they were gone, think of the billions Germany can save.
Now, here's another startling figure.
Nearly a quarter million people in Germany have been designated as deportable.
That means they've been ordered out of the country.
But in 2023, only 16,000 of these illegal immigrants were actually given the boot.
A quarter of a million should be gone.
Only 16,000.
And that was the highest number since 2000. Now, Germany's other political parties have pledged not to cooperate with the AFD. No matter how many votes the AFD has, no matter how many seats it has in a regional legislature.
And the resulting firewall shuts the party out of governing coalitions, no matter how much popular support it enjoys.
Likewise, the AFD is denied the committee chairmanships in the national parliament in Berlin that its numbers would otherwise entitle it to.
This is pure skullduggery.
On July 17, 2024, the German Journalists Association announced that it was boycotting the AFD. It would not send representatives to cover what it called anti-constitutional parties or groups, even if members of those parties hold elective office.
While this boycott was not binding on individual journalists, any report who spoke with an AFD member would be violating the values of his profession.
This is like the American media deciding that, oh, Donald Trump, he's a fascist.
You know, before the election, many, many times we were told he's a fascist, so we're just going to turn off the cameras when he walks in the room.
We're just not going to even look at him.
We're not going to send any reporters.
We're going to give him a complete media blackout.
Well, at least the United States didn't do that.
The media spun all sorts of wild tales about what a danger he was.
Democracy was going to be over.
There's going to be no more elections after we voted this horror in.
But at least they covered him.
Can you imagine this?
AFD, AFD will hold a massive event.
No journalists show up at all.
Apparently, giving airtime to AFD members carries a risk.
The interviewees might not confirm the AFD's reputation as crazed fascists.
You see, the media invent this image of AFD as goose-steppers, sig-heilers, and...
It's embarrassing when they're not.
Deutsche Welle, the public news and education broadcaster, complained in April that an AFD co-chair, Tino Krupala, came off as friendly and well-meaning during an interview.
Oh my gosh, we can't have that.
Der Spiegel, the big magazine newspaper, lamented that Bjorn Huck appeared more normal and socially acceptable during a rare debate on Welt TV. What?
This is the way they treat people like me.
You can't have a guy like me talk on a debate because I'm not frothing at the mouth.
I don't have a swastika chiseled in my forehead.
No, this news blackout on democratically elected representatives, this is all done in the name, of course, of democracy.
They're preserving democracy by fighting democracy.
According to a spokesman for the German Journalist Association, its members, quote, Incredible, isn't it?
The democracy defense came into play again in Thuringia, where the state's newly elected parliament convened.
On September 25th, the non-AFD parties rammed through a series of arcane rule changes in the legislature meant to deny the AFD the speakership to which its majority status entitled it.
So, if the voters vote the wrong way, you just change the rules of the democracy.
All of this because you love democracy.
According to Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Democracy thrives on a diversity of political parties.
Except for one.
And the firewall against including the AFD as a partner is made forming governing coalitions in the three eastern German parliaments, these are the three lander, or states as we call them, very difficult.
The minority governments are unstable because you have to cobble together groups of people who hate each other and whose politics are utterly at odds.
And on December 20th, just two months before the national elections to replace Chancellor Schultz's collapsed coalition, you will recall the Saudi Arabian refugee who drove his FUV into Christmas market, slaughtering as many people as possible.
At that time, thousands of residents formed a human chain against hate.
Well, what kind of hate were they demonstrating against?
Foreigner hate for Germans?
No.
Hate by Germans.
This was in the city's market square.
They held echo-friendly candles and chanted, give fascism no chance.
You see, they were upset that somebody might think that this Saudi who slaughtered Germans didn't belong in Germany.
Maybe Saudis as a home, maybe Muslims as a home don't belong in Germany.
No, no, no.
The candles, the echo-friendly candles they were holding, they stand for a city, quote, open to the world.
Said an organizer of the initiative called Give Hate No Chance.
What did the Saudi think about Germans?
Oh, I guess he just loved them.
This was just a way to show his adoration for Germany, kill as many as possible.
Well, the fascists who were to be given no chance were the AFD supporters who were peacefully demonstrating nearby, calling for change in immigration policies.
And the site of such a demonstration is apparently so traumatic to elite sensibilities that a news website carrying the video posted a trigger warning.
This live feed may contain distressing scenes.
Distressing scenes, that is to say, Germans who don't want any more immigrants.
How distressing, how hateful.
And of course, after Iran fired missiles into Israel, On October 1st, 2024, the streets of Berlin and Bonn looked like a scene out of Beirut or Tehran.
Frenzied Muslims cheered and hoped for an escalation of Islam's war on Jews.
They, of course, are the real source of Jew hatred in Germany today.
However, the parties that hate the AfD, they accuse the AfD of being racist, anti-Semitic.
No.
It's, of course, these people who've let in all of these Arabs, Muslims, who hate Jews.
They're the ones who are causing it, but they blame the AFD. Now, of course, they always called AFD anti-democratic.
There's no indication the AFD wants to replace democracy.
It's not called for banning its political opponents.
It only wants the same rights as other parties.
And as for totalitarian measures, it's the Green Party.
And as it turns out, Alice Videl responded in a parliamentary address, you consider freedom of expression more dangerous than the unrestricted importation of murderers and terrorists.
Well, yes, as I recall, Barack Obama some time ago said that the Internet is the greatest threat there is to democracy.
Free speech threatens democracy.
Anyway, as Heather MacDonald goes on to say, a commitment to unlimited immigration from non-Western countries is today the West's constitutive principle.
It defines what it means to be a member of the Western elect.
Anyone who wants to restrict immigration has revealed himself to be, at best, an enemy of the Enlightenment and, at worst, a genocidal maniac.
Well, good for you, Heather MacDonald.
In 2024, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban told the European Parliament in Strasbourg that illegal immigration increases anti-Semitism, violence against women, homophobia.
And guess what?
His critics said that Orban was being anti-liberal.
Oh boy.
Immigration is good no matter what happens, no matter what it does to women, no matter how many homosexuals get thrown off of rooftops, no matter how many women are raped, no matter how many Germans or Frenchmen or Italians are killed.
Everything, everything must bow to immigration.
Meanwhile, the Austrian Freedom Party won Austria's national elections in September on a platform of limiting mass immigration and on deporting criminal aliens.
Obvious.
Well, finally, the negotiation to exclude the Freedom Party broke down.
Again, you're trying to ask these people who absolutely hate each other and have nothing politically in common to form a government without the major party.
And in an unexpected turnaround, Austria's president has asked the Freedom Party's leader, Herbert.
Keichel to head the new government.
Well, finally, finally, wisdom prevailed after months of government standstill.
And likewise, in 2023, the Immigration Restrictionist Freedom Party in Netherlands trounced its left-wing allowance against it.
It was allowed to form a government only after its leader, Gert Wilders, agreed not to be chancellor.
This sort of thing is just incredible.
It's just incredible.
All of these people claim to be lovers of democracy.
The thing about it is, even as Heather MacDonald continues, even if European and American elites continue to label the majority of their fellow citizens fascists, and they do, remember, if you voted for Donald Trump, you voted for a fascist.
I don't hear that much anymore, now that he's president, but these...
Liberals and Democrats who flung that word around, anti-democratic, fascists, they should be able to eat their words.
So even if the elites continue to label the majority of their fellow citizens fascists, the result against replacement will continue.
Mass immigration into the West is the defining issue of the 21st century.
The AFD and its continental counterparts realize how precious is the Western inheritance and how urgently it deserves defense.
Their warnings should be heeded.
Again, this is from Heather MacDonald in a mainstream publication.
Hooray for Heather.
Moving on to New York City.
The number of candidates taking the test to join the NYPD has plunged by more than half in the past eight years.
Prospective members of New York's finest applicants went from 18,000 in 2017 to just 8,000.
That's a 55% decline.
A Brooklyn cop with more than a dozen years on the job says, cops are telling their friends and family, don't bother with this job because it's not worth it.
You'll be worked to the bone, attacked by perps and politicians, and hammered with nonsense complaints.
That's right.
Attacked by perps and politicians.
They're just as bad the one as the other.
One long-time NYPD officer said his son planned to join the Suffolk County Police Department because you don't have to worry about getting stabbed, shot, and then sued all the time.
Mayor Adams, Eric Adams, he pledged in November to bring on 1,600 new cops in this year, 2025. And the NYPD is going to the trouble of reaching out to candidates who took the police test as far back as seven years ago.
They're so desperate.
The department's headcount is the lowest it's been in more than 30 years because they can't find people.
Some people have blasted stupid laws, as they call them, passed by the city council that have hamstrung the police.
In 2020, that magic year, 2020, was it before or after May 25th?
You know what happened in May 25th?
Yes, yes.
St. George of Floyd.
He ascended into heaven.
But I bet after May 25th, on 2020, the council passed six bills that kill morale and reduce police effectiveness, including abolishing what they call the chokehold.
Choke hold, of course, is not a choke hold.
It does not stop the windpipe.
It puts pressure on the arteries, the jugular, the carotid artery.
And that's a very effective way to make a resisting perp pass out.
No, can't do that.
Can't do that.
Makes it illegal despite its being extremely effective.
And they also made it illegal for police to put pressure on the diaphragm.
I don't know about that, but that was probably an effective...
An effective technique as well.
And then they also require police officers to fill out paperwork, especially including race of perp.
For every encounter, police whose job it is is to be catching bad guys, have got to spend hours and hours and hours in the cop cars filling out paper.
Who wants to do it?
Also, there are state bail reforms that made the job less attractive because cops see the same wicked people, a lot of them.
Migrants, foreigners, who the cops are not permitted to turn over to ICE, committing crimes, and coming right back out on the street.
I've been saying for years, being a white police officer, or a police officer of any race, really, in a big American city must be just about the most difficult job in the world.
All of this all cops are bastards stuff.
Well...
The cities who are unable to hire police officers are paying the price for their stupidity, their foolishness, their high-handedness, their unwillingness to appreciate the people who put their lives on the line.
The thin blue line that keeps a city like New York City teetering on the verge and not falling into complete degeneracy.
Now, here is a story that perplexes me, and I'll be curious to know what listeners think about this.
It has to do with the whole question of what you might call extended responsibility.
The first persons convicted in a U.S. and American mass school shooting were sentenced to at least 10 years in prison as a Michigan judge lamented missed opportunities that could have prevented their teenage son from possessing a gun and killing four students back in 2021. These convictions are not about poor parenting, said Judge Cheryl Matthews.
These convictions confirm repeated acts or lack of acts that could have halted an oncoming runaway train.
This was the climax of an extraordinary effort to make others, besides the 15-year-old attacker, criminally responsible for a school shooting.
Now, I don't know all the details of this story, but apparently Jennifer and James...
They didn't know that Ethan Crumley had a handgun in his backpack when he was dropped off at Oxford High School.
Prosecutors convinced jurors that the parents still played a disastrous and responsible role in the violence.
The Crumleys were accused of not securing the newly purchased gun at home and of being indifferent to signs of their son's deteriorating mental health.
Well, the fact is there was no law that required them to secure the gun.
There is now, past since, but at that time there was no law that required that.
The prosecutor said they ignored signs of Ethan Crumley's deteriorating mental health, especially when confronted with a classroom drawing earlier that day.
Ethan Crumley had sketched images of a gun, a bullet, and a wounded man on a math paper, accompanied by phrases such as, Well, those are disturbing.
And is it really the parents' fault that they didn't do anything about it or didn't do enough about it?
Apparently, the mother and son had fired 50 rounds at a shooting range not many days before, and they took 50 more rounds home.
Jennifer Crumley described the gun on social media as an early Christmas gift to Ethan.
Ethan Crumley had told a counselor that he was sad.
A grandmother had died and his only friend moved away.
But he said the drawings only reflected his interest in creating video games.
Well, maybe that's what his parents thought.
His parents were called to a hasty meeting at school to talk about the drawing.
This is the one with blood.
Bullets and guns.
It lasted 15 minutes and school staff didn't demand that they take the 14-year-old home during the meeting, but were surprised that the Crumley's didn't volunteer to take him home.
Instead, they left with a list of mental health providers and said they were going back to work.
But later that same day, Ethan Crumley pulled the gun out of his backpack and began shooting.
And so at sentencing...
Prosecutors asked the judge to stretch beyond the sentencing guidelines and order a minimum 10-year prison sentence.
The defense attorneys tried to keep the crumblies out of prison, saying they had already spent two and a half years in jail because they couldn't afford the half-million-dollar bond.
The couple had separate trials in Oakland County Court, 40 miles south of Detroit.
So this is really, to me, a disturbing case.
I really don't like the principle of parents being held responsible for the acts of their teenage children.
I mean, if you're talking about, say, a six-year-old who gets a gun out of a closet and goes and shoots people, or a seven-year-old, eight-year-old, I mean, at some point, a teenager is an autonomous person.
And if there's no law that says you've got to keep the gun locked up...
And if there's no law that says you have got to get your son restrained, if he draws disturbing pictures, this to me reeks of the idea that what we really want is to attack guns.
And the fact that they had a gun in the house, that I suspect is the big problem.
Now again, it's pretty terrible.
It's pretty terrible.
If you have a child, you buy him a gun and he uses it to shoot up classmates.
But is that your fault?
This is a disturbing thing.
Now, as it turns out, in February of last year, Michigan did pass a law requiring gun owners to secure their weapons at home.
And in this law, it says if a minor uses an unsecured gun to kill someone, then the adult can get 15 years in jail and...
Pay up to $10,000 in fine.
Now, this is an ex post facto law, as far as I'm concerned, if applied to the Crumleys.
This law did not exist at the time.
Again, this is a disturbing case, one that forebodes, a foreboding case, certainly is an anti-gun case, and I'd be curious as to what listeners think about this.
Maybe some of you know more details about this, of which I'm unaware.
Okay, we've got time enough maybe for one more story here.
There's a Yale class offered this semester that's going to study friendships between white women and black women.
And the course is called No Time for Tears, Friendships Between Black Women and White Women.
It will seek to determine whether these friendships can develop on an equal footing.
This is at Yale University.
Students will quote, Well, to me, that means they're going to be extremely cruel to any white women in the class.
They're going to interrogate the heck out of them with brutal honesty.
They're not going to ask black women if they ever are the wrong end of the stick.
Whether or not their hostility ever comes into play when black and white women try to be friends.
But the course will be taught by Professor Tasha Hawthorne, an African-Americanist, of course, who is also the dean of Yale's Pearson College.
That means she's sort of a den mother of this dormitory.
The course also uses contract grading.
Students are guaranteed a B-plus if they meet the contract's requirements.
So long as the grades received, regardless of the grades received on individual assignments.
Turn everything in, even if it's not worth a D, and you get a B+. Because, you see, this contract grading is seen as an actively anti-racist approach to assessment.
It's a way of participating in educational justice and equity.
Thus saith Tasha Hawthorne.
And the syllabus suggests that traditionally graded courses promote bias.
Rated being white Anglo-Saxon Protestant.
A number of WASPs at Yale is tiny these days.
Related to speaking and writing Standard English.
That's an unfair privilege.
Growing up in a first-language English-speaking community.
Oh, all of these things are so horrible.
Have to be combated at all times.
And the list of readings for the course includes a report by Time magazine called...
How the Karen meme confronts the violent history of white womanhood.
Got that, white girls who are about to take the course?
You're going to have to read about the violent history of white womanhood.
Also a Vox article called How Karen Became a Symbol of Racism and a journal article called Querying Karen, The Rise of the Angry White Woman.
Believe it or not, the focus of Professor Hawthorne's work in academia is the intersection of gender, sexuality, genre, race, and politics.
Genre.
I don't know what genre is.
How does genre differ from gender?
Oh, these Yalies.
This is deep, deep stuff.
Even for an old alumnus, this is just too complicated for me.
The course is marked, instructor permission required.
Meaning that she subjectively selects students for registration.
And during a time as a graduate student at Cornell University, Hawthorne taught a class on race, power, and privilege.
This to me, this to me is going to be an exercise in pure cruelty to any white women who are so browbeaten and denatured as to want to take a course like this.
I suspect it'll end up being all black women or a few black men and they all get together and talk about how awful white people are.
But that's what an Ivy League education does these days.
Well, ladies and gentlemen, our time is up.
And once again, I must tell you what a pleasure and privilege it is to spend this time with you and it will be my great honor.
To speak to you again next week.
