Time Text
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Radio Renaissance.
I'm your host, Jared Taylor with American Renaissance, and with me is my indispensable co-host, Paul Kersey.
Today is October 19th, if I'm not mistaken, Year of Our Lord 2022.
I think I got that right.
And I believe we're going to start with a comment from yet another Australian listener.
He writes to say, in Western nations, many second and even first generation immigrants openly make anti-white statements to little or no pushback from white public figures.
If anything, it seems the whites are more interested in attacking someone who is angered by such statements than the people who make them.
Entirely true.
Here in Australia, a well-known senator, Pauline Hanson, Has been demonized for saying that she expected immigrants to be loyal to and obey the laws of the country and those who don't ought to go back where they came from.
That go back where you came from line became the name of a pro-refugee TV series made by the state funded SBS channel.
More par for the course.
Why do white people put up with this?
I think it's reasonable that a host become offended if a guest arrives and insults him.
Perhaps I don't understand because I'm not white myself, although I was born and raised here.
Still, I can't imagine this kind of anti-host behavior being tolerated elsewhere in the world.
I'm not sure I can either, Mr. Kersey.
This Australian listener goes on to say, Do you think it's possible to reverse the leftward momentum of Western society, not just in relation to race, but also LGBT acceptance and adoration, transgenderism in children, etc.?
The position of the general populace on these topics seems highly malleable.
As it has swung massively over a relatively short span of time, thanks to the media.
I think that's entirely true.
The media have tremendous power all throughout the West, probably throughout the world.
What's the great line by Gregory Hood?
We don't have a state-run media, we have a media-run state.
Yes, a great line.
A great line by our great genius, Gregory the Great.
And he says, is it possible to seize control of the media to reverse course and maintain a largely unified population or is it something like national separation that is more likely?
Well, I don't see any hope for seizing the media.
No.
I just don't see how that would work.
And if Western civilization is to survive in some recognizable form, certainly in the United States, I think there just has to be some sort of local separation.
Now, a hundred years from now, who knows what happens.
If enough separation takes place and the sanity that is obvious and evident in the separated places begins to infect the unseparated places, who knows?
But no, I just don't think that the media can be taken over.
Although I like to think that if we had control of the media for 10 minutes, Because what they're doing is so counter to human nature, so counter to good sense, so counter to the evidence of our senses, the record of history, that just, it seems to me, a glimpse, a dose of the truth, even just a short one... Well, think how much time and effort and money is spent inculcating the masses.
It's taken decades.
It's taken, in some cases, it's taken, you know, half a century.
One of the bright things to me about all of this and this question is Warner Brothers recently spun off and they've been doing all sorts of cost-cutting measures.
This is the entertainment sector.
And they basically got rid of their entire sector of, or their entire segment of trying to find minority voices to promote as directors, writers, because they were losing so much money!
Because people are turning this stuff off!
And at the end of the day, the bottom line is what matters.
In some cases, it doesn't.
But it really is, like you just said, it might be... In many cases, it doesn't.
They seem to be happy to lose money, but to be virtuous.
And at the same time, despite these billions and billions and billions and countless hours spent trying to brainwash us all, it doesn't always work.
Didn't work on you, Mr. Kersey.
No, it didn't.
Didn't work on me.
Didn't work on our listeners.
And Australian concludes, thank you for your work and for making content that is as clean as possible.
It makes it much easier to recommend or refer to when discussing the realities of race and race relations with others compared to edgier voices.
So, we're being praised for our moderation and even-handedness.
So, thank you, Mr. Australian, Mr. Non-White Australian.
Another comment.
In your reporting on the choking antics of African-American fellow citizen Marcus McGowan Jr.
in Odessa, Texas, you remember this story.
This guy shows up with a pregnant girlfriend.
He goes nuts in the hospital and starts strangling newborn babies.
Didn't manage to kill any of them, but he attempted two of them, and he was led away by Odessa's finest.
He says you quite rightly wondered about the melanin levels of the newborn infants he tried to murder.
It is crucial for authorities to include these details in order to assess whether Mr. McGowan's murderously violent behavior could also be considered a hate crime.
Of course, no one is looking into that.
While there was no mention of the race of his intended victims, there was a hint.
Witnesses claimed that McGowan choked infants until their faces turned blue.
Well, that is a hint, isn't it?
It is.
He says, I'm surprised you did not pick up on that.
Our usually observant host and co-host said nothing about that.
Has anything else come out about it?
Not that I know of.
These things, they just blip into the news and then they disappear.
Nobody cares.
Nobody pays attention.
Now, the first news story here that I'd like to bring up is this whole question of race-based districts in voting.
It's a case before the Supreme Court.
Gerrymandering, strictly by race, is illegal.
So, how can it be legally required?
That is the question that Alabama is raising before the Supreme Court in a case called Merrill v. Milligan, and it has to do with the state's recent redrawing of its House of Representatives map of districts.
The new districts resemble the status quo, with one majority black seat in the Southeast.
The state says it used 2020 census data merely to enact race-neutral adjustments for small shifts in population.
However, Alabama has 11 House seats, and one majority black district comes out to 14% of those seats, whereas 26% of the state's voting-age population is black.
A federal court said in January, Alabama is required by the Voting Rights Act to create a second majority black district, deliberately.
And that would mean blacks got 29% representation in their House delegation, which is closer to their 26% of the population.
So, is this the law?
Or is this another misguided effort in what Chief Justice John Roberts once called the sordid business of divvying us up by race?
An interesting question.
Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act bans voting practices that are not equally open or that give racial minorities less opportunity to elect representatives of their choice.
On the other hand, Section 2 likewise explicitly says it does not create any sort of quote, right to have members of a protected class elected in numbers equal to their proportion in the population.
More recent Supreme Court rulings have said gerrymandering by race is odious, And strict scrutiny applies if it is a predominant factor for mapmakers of districts.
So there you got a problem.
It says you cannot deny non-whites an opportunity to choose people of their own preference.
Of course, if you've got more than one candidate, the minority's got a right to choose.
Does it say that black people have the right to representation in proportion with their own populations?
It does not say that.
So here you have a kind of a contradiction.
Alabama argues that its critics were able to draw alternative maps with two majority black districts, quote, only by starting with a non-negotiable racial target and backfilling with other redistricting criteria after that target had been hit.
I mean, you can easily imagine that.
You say, okay, we gotta have, we gotta have two.
And so they're going to have these spidery looking odd shaped districts to make sure that they get in the right number of blacks and have a majority black district.
So, one thread in the chief justices, that's Robert's Voting Rights Act jurisprudence, is that it isn't 1965 anymore.
No, it's not.
It is sure not.
South Carolina has a black GOP senator.
Georgia has a black Democratic senator whose Republican challenger is also black.
Regrettably.
Herschel Walker ain't much of a candidate.
You know, last Friday they had a debate, apparently.
I was going to listen to the debate, but I just didn't quite make it work out.
But is Herschel Walker really as lame-brained as I'm afraid he is?
Yes.
No, he's far worse.
Oh, he's worse.
Oh, dear.
Too much football.
In any case, so this question about the redistricting and the case of Merrill v. Milligan, how much are these dynamics perpetuated if courts read the VRA, the Voting Rights Act, as mandating racial quotas, more or less?
Justice Clarice Thomas, who has actually been the most solid guy on the Supreme Court when it comes to race, I mean, even compared to Justice Scalia, although I don't know if they ever disagreed, He wrote this back in 1994.
Few devices could be better designed to exacerbate racial tensions than the consciously segregated districting system currently being constructed in the name of the Voting Rights Act.
He says, it would deepen racial divisions by destroying any need for voters or candidates to build bridges between racial groups or to form voting coalitions.
So yeah, if you cordon off all the blacks, they get their representative, cordon off all the whites, all the Hispanics, all the Asians, hey, why not all the homosexuals and all the transsexuals?
Give them all, you know, their little... The pansexuals.
Yes, the pansexuals, the shapeshifters.
What is it?
Anyway, give them all a vote.
That's one way of approaching it, and we actually sort of head that way instinctively, but is that what the Voting Rights Act requires?
It'll be a very interesting case.
I wouldn't be surprised if the U.S.
Supreme Court decides that this explicit racial creation of districts is against the Constitution.
I think you might be interested.
It could be a 6-3 decision actually.
And I can imagine the squealing and the screaming.
From all the bien-pensants out there who say, oh, we're disenfranchising blacks.
No, we're not.
They can vote forever they like.
And they can move into another district if they really want to.
Correct.
In any case, Mr. Kersey, on this subject of who represents whom, I think you have an interesting report to share with me and our listeners.
I have an interesting report to share with all of our great listeners from wherever they might be listening.
It's a piece that was just published earlier today, on the 19th of October, and the headline, it's from the Boston Globe, who is representing you?
Federal and state governments are more white and male than the populations they serve.
It's almost as if white and male are pejoratives in this.
Of course they are!
You instinctively know, oh my gosh, this is axiomatically evil, this is wrong, how dare we?
This is bad, yes.
The nation is home to populations that are quite diverse in racial and ethnic backgrounds, and they are generally even split along gender lines.
However, governments that serve them are led by people who are disproportionately white and male, according to an analysis by the Emancipator.
The Emancipator?
Forgive me, I don't know what the Emancipator is.
I'm assuming that that's probably some sort of newspaper that might date back, or some sort of think tank that dates back, or they made their name from, you know, being Being part of those who were against slavery in the New England area.
So there are some incredible charts and maps that are within this article.
And they help paint a picture of a country whose top government officials do not often share racial, ethnic, or gender identity characteristics with those they serve.
How dare they?
That's awful.
Again, race is a social construct until it's not.
These representations are based on data from the U.S.
Census Bureau, federal and state executives, legislatures, and judges.
Bridget King, who's an associate professor and director of the Master of Public Administration
program at Auburn University, she had this to say, there's a clear descriptive value in seeing people
who look like you in public institutions. Namely, you feel like there's a capacity for someone to
represent you. You feel like it's a space where people like you across whatever demographic
marker we're using are welcome and there's opportunities.
So there's that.
The optics.
Now if I were still a resident of Georgia, I'd be a little upset watching that debate between Warnock and Walker, thinking, where are the people who look like me?
Where's my representation?
Exactly.
Who's going to represent me?
Georgia, for all intents and purposes, is a very conservative state.
However, you have two black men, one who can barely put together an intelligible sentence, And the other who can barely put together an intelligible thought.
Yes, yes, yes, good point.
So again, strange.
So shared identity can extend beyond race, according to Spencer Piston, an associate professor of political science at Boston University.
For example, he says, legislatures of poorer backgrounds are more likely than rich legislators to look out for poor people's interests.
So it turns out that at the federal level, U.S.
House of Representatives, most closely reasonable to the U.S.
as a whole in terms of racial and ethnic diversity, Just shy of two-thirds of House members identify as White, 12.5% Black, 9.5% Latino.
The U.S.
Senate, 83% of its members are White, 3% Black, 7% Latino.
Federal Judiciary is similarly split, with the U.S.
Supreme Court having similar ratios as the U.S.
overall, though without any Asian American, Pacific Islanders, Indigenous people, or multiracial members.
But the overwhelming majority of the 1,413 sitting federal judges identify as white.
In fact, we learned that 77.6% of federal judges are white.
And we learned that some state legislators, Vermont and North Dakota, are served by legislators who are 98% white.
98.
I wonder who the 2% are?
Hawaii, just 22%.
But that's, I guess, that's a great thing.
They point out that it's the least white.
So, again, where white is used as a pejorative.
What's fascinating in this article, though, is that white is actually capitalized in this Boston Globe piece.
You know, the AP came out during the summer of George Floyd and said, we're not going to capitalize white.
But as I'm reading this, I'm like, wait a second, they actually are capitalizing this.
So, The whitest state in the nation is Maine, where 96% of its lawmakers are white.
So, fewer lawmakers in Maine are white than are in Vermont and North Dakota.
Even so, those states' legislatures are relatively representative of their majority white constituencies.
Mississippi lawmakers are relatively representative of their population, 57% white, 27% black.
57% white, 27% black.
Again, the population is 56% white, 37% black in that state.
And then they go on to talk about other states, the entire country, actually.
There's some incredible interactive maps.
Virginia, for instance, is 61% white.
And unfortunately, I'm not able to access the internet where I am, but this is a great resource.
And I encourage all of our listeners to check it out.
Because once again, you can see that we have a situation where White and male are seen as automatically bad.
Automatically bad?
Automatically bad.
Well, I have some news for you about The Emancipator.
Tell me.
The Emancipator is a diverse team of veteran journalists and leading academic scholars who have announced a new multimedia newsroom whose mission is to reframe the national conversation on race.
And you will be delighted to know, Mr. Kersey, that one of its two co-founders is none other than Ibram Kendi.
Ibram X. Kendi, you saw it coming.
The other one is somebody by the name of Bina Venkataraman.
Hmm.
Co-founder of the Emancipator, an editor-at-large of the Boston Globe's Opinion section.
And indeed, they wish to hark back to the emancipationist ideals.
They have reframed emancipation for the 21st century because, as you know, Abolition never really happened.
It was just sort of rejigged.
They're still psychological slaves, metaphorical slaves, so they need to be emancipated.
Well, they need to be emancipated from white male rule at the federal, state, judiciary, every level until it looks like Hawaii, where just 22% of the legislators are white.
Well, in Los Angeles, they've been pretty well emancipated from whiteness.
There is a city council of 15 members of which only four are whites.
Seems the way they're going in the right direction.
And, of course, the LA City Council was in the news just the last few days because there was an interesting conversation between three Hispanic members.
Nuri Martinez, head of the council.
I guess that's pure white supremacy.
Yes.
Yes.
Gil Cedillo and Kevin de Leon.
And, as those of you who have been paying attention to the news, they had a most candid jabber, which turned out to be recorded surreptitiously and leaked anonymously, much to their chagrin, in which they make dismissive comments about black people.
And they also are absolutely open about scheming to increase Hispanic representation at the expense of everybody else.
Mainly at the expense of blacks.
Whites just don't much matter.
Mr. Taylor, democracy is just a racial headcount.
In a multiracial society, yes indeed.
And in this story, that's what we're seeing.
And it's all about the scraps.
The carcass of Western civilization is being eaten and licked clean.
And this is what we get.
Diversity ain't no strength, baby.
No, it's not.
Now, it's interesting to me the kind of commentary that this has engendered.
The New York Times, Charles Blow.
This guy, he is such a blowhard, and he's got one hobby horse, and it's all white man bad, everybody else good.
He was very disappointed by this conversation.
He says, instead of allying with other disadvantaged groups, he's talking about these three Hispanics, they diminished them.
Their discussion was anti-black, anti-indigenous, anti-Jewish.
They were doing the work of white supremacy.
Good grief.
I mean, when you get Hispanics who are in some sort of power conflict with blacks, they are doing the work of white supremacy.
He goes on to say, the unfortunate reality is that anti-black white supremacy is not confined to white people or to Republicans, even though they court it and coddle it.
Republicans court and coddle white supremacy.
You see that all the time.
Of course.
Yes, that's why you and I have high positions in Republican politics.
Soon.
Yes.
He goes on to say, this is Charles Blow, one of our African American prominent fellow citizens, he says, Martinez is a democrat in an overwhelmingly democratic city.
Oh my gosh, how could this have happened?
Now, then there's columnist Juan Guerrero, another Hispanic.
She's a big name in the Los Angeles Times.
She calls for a new generation of Latinos at the helm.
Of course, why Latinos at the helm?
Well, because she's Latino.
Of course she wants Latinos at the helm.
Ones who can rewrite the zero-sum rules imposed on us by White supremacy.
She says none of the conversations participants appear to understand That multiracial solidarity is our only hope to build a city that can stand as a true beacon in the fight against fascism and white supremacy.
Fascism, white supremacy.
Fascism and white supremacy.
This is in Los Angeles.
As I say, 15 council seats, four white people, but they've all, all the non-whites have still, all 11 non-whites have got the gang up against the four whites because that's how you fight fascism and white supremacy.
What's the racial makeup of Los Angeles?
Oh, gosh.
Blacks are what?
Blacks I think are about 8%.
And then you've got, I think, the plurality is certainly Hispanic.
But maybe when you've got a story for us, maybe I can look it up and tell us.
In any case, she goes on to say this.
It's important to understand, this is Jean Guerrero.
She mentioned me in an editorial once.
Really?
Yes.
She was attacking, oh gosh, the black guy who wanted to be Larry Elder.
That's right.
She was blasting Larry Elder for having years and years and years ago said something nice about me.
And oh, so he's a white supremacist.
He's a black white supremacist.
A black white supremacist.
She says it's important to understand the origins of internalized racism among Latinos.
In part, it's a product of white colonialism and U.S.
foreign policy.
U.S.
foreign policy internalizes white supremacism in Latinos.
It also reflects the scars of racist immigration policies.
So, Hispanics here in the United States meet blacks.
They don't like each other.
That's white supremacy.
And as we all know, whatever blacks attack Asians, that too, is they are agents of white supremacy.
Just doing the bidding of white supremacists.
Now, more on white supremacy.
This is from ABC, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.
Australia's government-funded.
They do have state-owned media.
Of course, we have something like state-owned media, which is National Public Radio.
It gets its money from state.
Yeah, you could argue there's a few more, but... A few more what?
Oh, I'm just joking.
In regards to what we've seen the media do, you can almost Say that there's a collusion between our friend social media, which is basically a form of media.
Oh, yes.
No, there is obvious collusion.
When the Democrats in power, the collusion is just thick as thieves.
But yes, now this is really quite interesting.
Some bonehead who works for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation wrote a topic to understand, this is the title of his article, to understand China, you need to understand whiteness.
I saw this piece.
You can't understand China if you don't understand whiteness.
Now, as we scratch our heads in disbelief and consternation, he goes on to write, the Chinese Communist Party has a deep racial consciousness.
It promises never to forget the hundred years of humiliation at the hands of foreign powers, of white powers.
He says, yes, that humiliation was at the hands of the Japanese too, but the Japanese themselves cannot be separated from the project of whiteness.
Japan saw itself on par with Western powers.
Especially when they beat Russia in the war of what, 1907?
1905, yes.
Its imperialism mirrored the imperialism of white colonizers.
I guess Genghis Khan, when they swept West, they were mirroring white imperialism, don't you figure?
Good.
What boneheads, these people.
In some ways, this guy says, Xi Jinping's China may represent the end of whiteness.
Because you see, they're taking over.
They're going to be country number one.
White people love to talk about this kind of thing.
You know, other countries just moving ahead of these poor beleaguered white people.
Except that the Chinese Communist Party itself mirrors whiteness.
Now, Mr. Christie, how would it do that?
Please go on.
Maybe they'll explain.
Yes, we're left, as I say, rather perplexed.
The irony is Xi, who must be obeyed, Xi Jinping has also become what he opposes.
He is a Han nationalist.
His idea of Chinese power is ethnic Han superiority, persecuting non-Han, non-white people in his own country.
I don't think he's persecuting them because they're non-white.
If whiteness is power, Xi Jinping is its champion.
The continuation of white power in darker skin.
Continuation of white power in darker skin?
Because he's a nationalist.
He's a Han nationalist.
He's mean to the Uyghurs and some of these other non-Han minorities.
That's back to white supremacy.
He learned at our evil knee.
Boy, oh boy.
Well, so, Mr. Kersey.
I'm trying to rub my head around it.
Yes, I know.
It's difficult.
It's difficult.
It's like believing that race doesn't exist.
It's not a biological phenomenon.
It's some sort of psychological optical illusion.
But when Xi Jinping is a Chinese nationalist, that's white supremacy in darker skin.
They get it.
Which country do you think has fed the most nonsense?
They get it.
Well, no wonder we have listeners in Australia.
If they get fed this sort of nonsense, they are fed up to the eyeballs.
Which country do you think has fed the most nonsense?
Oh, gosh.
Because the Swedes have now shown far more hope of waking up with what they've done.
Yes, they voted in a party that looks promising.
I don't know.
Is the United States the most mud-fed country in the world?
England is pretty awful.
I mean, after all, we would be in jail if we were in England.
You and I would be purveyors of filthy hate.
Correct.
So, yep, England is in bad, bad shape.
The Germans are pretty bad, too.
You can go to jail for just making common sense observations in Germany, too.
In any case, I believe you have a report for us on foreign rapists.
Oh, I do have a report on foreign rapists.
This is from Remix.
Foreigners account for 46% of all sexual assault convictions in Spain.
This is from data from the Spanish National Institute of Statistics.
It paints a bleak picture about diversity and multiculturalism in the Mediterranean countries, showing, as I said, very close to 50% of all those convicted of sexual assaults do not have a Spanish nationality, despite foreigners making up only a small fraction.
of the overall population. 500 people were convicted in 2021 in Spain for crimes related
to sexual assault. 267 have Spanish nationality. 224 are foreigners.
Within this group, 93 Africans were convicted of such crimes, while Africans represent only 2.4% of the Spanish population, reports the objective Spanish news outlet.
Again, you said if you had a media that would promote this stuff, I'm sure you could do the same thing with crime stats in our country, and you could break out the illegal aliens, and foreigners, and immigrants, and the percent of crime they committed. You simply say, you know,
these crimes wouldn't be committed by natives, you know, these are decisions by individuals who,
when you aggregate them together, they show who actually is committing the crimes
disproportionately.
Yes.
Sometimes we are told that immigrants commit crime at no higher rates than native-born.
Now, the CIS, whose data I always respect, has come out with a report that refutes that view.
But even if it were true, even if immigrants were committing crime at no higher rates than native-born, that's a complete failure.
We get to choose who comes.
We shouldn't have a single criminal.
Not one.
In any case, I'm interrupting you.
No, you're preaching to the choir!
Convictions do not give a true picture of the sexual assault situation in Spain, as some rapes are never reported, while in other cases assailant pleads to a lesser charge, or the assailant was simply never arrested.
Data shows overall the sexual assaults are rising.
In 2020, there were 428 convictions.
Spaniards were responsible for 238, and foreign nationals 190.
So that 44% number again keeps popping up.
Five years ago, in 2017, the percentage was 42%, of which 13% were African.
The share of Africans involved in such places has nearly doubled in five years.
When, of course, this happened, Europe was opened up.
We've seen a massive number of migrants flood into Western Europe.
And the consequences, of course, we saw in Germany during the New Year's celebrations, in Cologne, I believe, and some other regions of the country.
But now we're seeing it in Spain.
Well, and Africans in Europe are no better at impulse control than Africans in the United States.
Correct.
Similar trends are present in Italy, where migrants account for nearly 50% of the rapes.
In Germany, they account for 36% of all sexual assaults, including half of all gang rapes.
And France features similar numbers.
In Sweden, foreigners are drastically overrepresented also in sexual assaults.
In Denmark, 25% of all rapes are committed by foreign nationals.
So we literally have governments that are importing crime, rape, and the sexual assault of, You know, having one's womenfolk raped is one of the great humiliations.
It is.
And for white people to sit still for this just goes to show you how miserably emasculated they are.
Oh yeah, oh yeah.
Wow.
No other word for it.
I mean, this was an amazing study, but again... Yes.
It's the kind of thing that just drifts around in the outer reaches of the internet, and we're hoping to give this kind of thing a little bit more publicity.
Meanwhile, there is such a thing as a system of Emmett Till reports.
Oh, no.
We talked about this before when it was introduced.
Yes.
Maryland has an Emmett Till alert system.
Emmett Till, for those of you who, maybe there must be three or four out there in our listening audience who don't know who Emmett Till was, was it 1954, 55?
I forgot the year, I'm sure that's something I can't do though.
That's a year that should be in our DNA.
We should know that year, yes.
He put the moves on a white lady in what turns out to have been quite a disagreeable way.
The myth is he just whistled at her and was put to death.
The family went out and killed him on account.
No, no, no, no.
Not quite so simply.
He put his arms around her.
No, no, don't worry.
I've been with white girls.
You know, you'll have a great time with me.
It's quite a complicated story.
In any case, he died a very unfortunate and sticky death, and he will live on forever in great glory in the minds of right-thinking Americans.
In any case, the alert system is named after him.
It goes out to black people to warn them of dangerous white people on the loose.
Now, I would think it should be sounding all the time.
You know, aren't all white people dangerous?
It should sound off every time there's a murder in Baltimore.
Wait a second.
Oh, no, no, no.
You're jumping way ahead here.
It's something called the Caucus of African American Leaders who puts out the alerts, which are like AMBER alerts, but focused on hate crimes and other incidents targeting minorities.
A spokesman put it this way.
And listen to this carefully.
This is a little bit garbled in its English.
America's greater stronghold of racism continues to rear its ugly head.
Did you get that?
America's greater stronghold of racism continues to rear its ugly head.
While our country plays in the muddy playground of the January 6th debacle, I'll repeat that.
While our country plays in the muddy playground of the January 6th debacle, the black community still suffers from the aftermath of slavery, Jim Crow, redlining, mass incarceration, and similar systemic issues.
So, they need these alerts.
And the murder of Emmett Till.
Oh, boy.
That is just a daily cross they must bear.
The idea here is to have an alert system that allows the entire community to know what's happening.
If they get an Emmett Till alert, it's very serious and they should take the necessary steps to protect themselves and their families.
Well, the system, I believe it was announced earlier this summer, it was activated for the first time on 6 p.m.
just last Sunday.
And the first alert was set at the highest possible level.
Warning that black daycare centers are being targeted for possible acts of violence by hate groups online.
Did you hear about that?
Daycare centers, black daycare centers.
I didn't.
Well, they have messed it up.
It's good to know, I guess.
Good to know.
Yep, yep, yep.
Leaders said the threat was identified and vetted by the system's own panel of experts.
However, a representative of Anne Arundel County Police Department, it's all based in Maryland, says, we have no specific threats at this time, but we're looking into it.
You better not brush off the very first inaugural Emmett Till alert.
Make one up.
If it doesn't exist, just go ahead and manufacture it.
The police department also underscored a message from this caucus of African-American leaders saying, That the daycare owners should know that Anne Arundel County police officers will visit the business upon request and do a security assessment.
So that makes sure all the little kittywinks are being protected from white supremacist attack.
Well, at this point, now see, I'd like to get on the alert list.
Unfortunately, Mr. Kersey, it's by invitation only.
And it includes members of the Maryland Legislative Black Caucus, black clergy leaders, and leaders of national civil rights organizations.
I don't think you're going to be invited.
Well, probably not.
Probably not.
What's the chance anything is going on at all?
Of course, I mean, online, black Daycare centers are going to be attacked.
And don't these fools know, as you know, that the great danger to black people is certainly not white.
Well, remember, we still have not found out who made all those bomb threats to the historically black colleges and universities, which we had the FBI, maybe the CIA was involved, the Department of Homeland Security, and there were, I believe, more than a score HBCUs on the same day and this coordinated strike and threats.
There was a hint that it might not be a white person.
There was?
Yes, yes.
But no, that all disappeared from view.
I bet somebody finally got to the bottom of it and then we never heard.
Let's go away.
But the idea that they've got to have these amber alerts because wicked white people could just go on the warpath anytime.
What they really need is a yo mama alert, you know, when crazy black people are out there shooting each other.
This stuff is just such nuts.
Meanwhile, on the race is an illusion front, a new study of military veterans in the United States found that black and Hispanic seniors may be at greater risk of dementia than older individuals of American Indian, Alaska Native, Asian, or white backgrounds.
Apparently, compared with white veterans, American Indians and Alaska Natives were having dementia at 1.05, the rate of whites.
For Asians, 1.2, 1.5 for blacks, and 1.92 for Hispanic veterans.
So who knows?
But race is, of course, still a psychological optical illusion.
And while we're at it, let's talk a little bit about dementia.
Okay.
In a British study, black people had a 22% higher incidence of dementia than white people.
They also found black and South Asian people were diagnosed at a younger average age than white people, and a mix of genes and underlying health conditions such as high blood pressure and obesity may play a role.
At least the British are not automatically ruling out genes, the way an American study would say.
American study would say, no, no, absolutely no chance.
No, they'd say redlining, white supremacy.
Yes, yes, Emmett Till did it to them.
Then larger studies with more dementia cases in ethnic groups are needed.
This followed nearly 300,000 people who took part in the UK Biobank study for up to 14 years.
And, interestingly enough, the same factors did increase the risk of dementia for all ethnic groups.
High blood pressure, obesity, smoking, social isolation, depression, diabetes, and hearing loss.
If you got all those, you might end up being demented.
Of course, hypertension and obesity were more common in black people compared to whites or South Asians.
Also, and this is one of the things that an American study would leave out, black people were more likely to be carriers of a gene linked to dementia.
But race is still an illusion.
I believe you have a report on a lady by the name of Jean Maguire, whom I suppose we can expect to see on postage stamps very soon.
Oh, she will be.
But whose name was utterly unfamiliar to me.
Yeah, if you recall, it was in Detroit where Rosa Parks lived.
I want to say it was in the 90s perhaps.
She was attacked.
Yes, she was mugged.
She survived.
She was mugged by a black guy and everyone said, how dare you do this to a living legend, a racial pioneer for justice.
You know, that arc of history bends toward justice, and yet, at the end of her life, what happened to Rosa?
Well, but that didn't carry her away.
And, you know, they did not get the Yo Mama alert out there.
They did not.
The Emmett Till alert they were waiting for.
Instead, she got attacked by a black man.
The Emmett Till bat signal did not go up to alert people, but in this story we have the stabbing of Jean McGuire.
Again, the police have not really released many details in the investigation of the stabbing of the civil rights activist Jean McGuire.
She was walking her dog at 8.29 p.m.
where she was stabbed multiple times in Franklin Park and Jamaica Plains.
It's in Boston.
She was rushed to the hospital, non-life-threatening injuries.
Police believe the suspect also sustained injuries that may have required medical treatment.
I used the training I had, which I do with my staff, to protect myself when someone attacks
my body," she explained. That was my foot and my knee and police additionally shared belief that
her dog Bailey may have injured the attacker by attempting to protect her owner. Now, Maguire is
a 91-year-old black female. She was the first black woman on the Boston School Committee and
the executive director of METCO in the early 1990s.
It was a program designed to desegregate schools by allowing Boston students to attend schools in local suburbs, i.e., forced busing.
The program still exists today with students attending schools in over 30 suburbs.
Several community and city leaders held a press conference in response to the alleged attack.
She's as positive and vibrant and upbeat as anyone who knows Jean McGuire would expect her to be even as she sits in that hospital bed, said her close friend the Suffolk County District Attorney Kevin Hayden.
Could her attacker have known that this fierce 91-year-old woman embodies the heart of commitment and initiative that made it possible for tens of thousands of children from Boston's black and brown neighborhoods to have access to high-quality education and move on to better lives?
Millie...
Arbject Thomas, the president and CEO of METCO, said in a statement,
Could that person have known that she dedicated her life to working for our community's children
and all the people who struggle every day to gain access to the escalator of economic opportunity?
Education is Jean Maguire's reason for being. She lives and breathes to provide
every child the opportunity for the best education possible.
Arbject Thomas said in a statement, the Maguire family expressed their gratitude for the outpouring
to love and support they've received from the Greater Boston Community.
It will be interesting to find out if the person who attacked her was actually part of the METCO program.
And was actually bused to those white communities for that higher education.
But it turns out that it was just, you know, he didn't care.
He just saw a woman and he was thinking he'd mug her.
A 91-year-old woman, for heaven's sake.
And this, well, the accounts are notably Quiet on the subject.
They're vague.
They're vague.
You know, who are the police looking for?
Vague?
They're silent.
No description at all.
No, we have no idea the race.
We have no idea, you know, she's not speaking.
No.
She's not communicating to help police ascertain some details that could help the greater public.
But yes, back to your earlier question about the race, ethnicity, national origin of the people of Los Angeles.
Hispanic or Latino are 47.5, so they are almost a majority.
Wow.
Non-Hispanic Whites 29%, Asians 10.7%, Blacks 9.8, then Native Americans 0.5, etc, etc, etc.
10.7%, blacks 9.8, then Native Americans 0.5, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.
But what we have 47%, 47% Hispanic, 2.9% white, Asians at 10, and blacks at likewise 10.
Likewise.
Damn.
So there you go.
If anybody's underrepresented, I think there's only one Asian on the City Council.
So they're the ones who are really underrepresented.
But you know, they're getting sharper elbows over time.
We're some real top Koreans when you need them.
Yes, yes.
Well, I think they're going to be feeling their oats pretty soon.
Meanwhile, let's see.
What have we got up to?
Oh, we've got yet another crazy white lady.
There was a 24-year-old Los Angeles woman who was recovering from a traumatic brain injury after a homeless man.
I hate this expression, homeless man.
This guy was a bum or a wino or a derelict.
In any case, a homeless man stabbed her in the head with a pair of gardening shears in an unprovoked attack.
Jesus.
Yes.
Kylie Watts was walking along Lancashire Boulevard in North Hollywood around 1130 a.m.
You'd think you'd be okay in North Hollywood at 1130 a.m.
When 30-year-old Jonathan Cole, an African-American fellow citizen,
rammed a pair of gardening shears with four-inch blades into the back of this white lady's head as they just walked
by.
There's surveillance video of this.
She's just walking by.
And he turns around and stabs her.
Watts ran to a nearby restaurant with a woman with a weapon still embedded in her skull and begged for help before collapsing.
Oh, what?
Yes.
She underwent surgery for traumatic brain injury, is still in the hospital, faces a difficult road to recovery, and will face long-term issues with balance and vision.
She was just laid off from her job in tech recruiting, for which she moved to Los Angeles just a few weeks ago.
Here she is.
She moved to a new job just a few weeks ago, just been laid off, and she's going to be in the hospital for the next two weeks.
Now, it's her mother, the crazy lady.
She understands what happened to her daughter was a social and systemic failure.
And more needs to be done to help those who are living on the streets.
Jesus.
Yes.
Get them off.
Yes, get them off the streets, I'll say.
Boy, they've got to get off.
Now, the Census Bureau.
The Census Bureau has an announcement.
And it came a little late for me.
After all, we're, what, two-thirds of the way through the month of October.
But this month, Brother Kersey, whether you knew it or not, is Global Diversity Awareness Month.
It honors how diversity and inclusion can serve as a catalyst for achieving excellence and advancing equity.
I didn't know any of that.
Well, you're just not reading your Census Bureau press releases.
They go on to say, the data we produce at the Census Bureau directly impacts society's ability to identify and address inequities.
What else would it do?
That's the only reason to count the population.
So you know how many black people there are and how many black representatives they need in the statehouse or in the representatives.
Example, go back to that Alabama story we just talked about.
Exactly.
How many congressmen?
That's right.
That's what the census does.
Then it goes on to say, we can perpetuate excellence through the lens of diversity and inclusion, providing an even more accurate portrait of our nation.
Then did you know the Census Bureau was one of the first government agencies to hire men and women of many races and ethnicities?
I didn't know that.
I didn't know that either.
And I can't say that I much care.
No, no.
Now we know.
Now we know.
But then, this is all about U.S., U.S.
Census and U.S.
population.
I wonder why it's called Global Diversity Awareness Month.
And I thought it was going to be something about how, you know, we have to be aware of all of these lovely, magnificent, beautiful non-whites all around the world while we watch our white population diminish and how much it's going to improve the country when we look all like the rest of the world.
But no, but it's Global Diversity Awareness Month for all Americans.
Now, Mr. Kersey, I understand that blasphemy has been committed.
Against St.
George.
I must ask, how much time do we have left?
We want to make sure that we always stay on target.
Well, we're on target.
Okay, good.
Yes.
Well, mother of George Floyd's daughter has filed a $250 million lawsuit against Kanye
West for comments on his death.
Again, the lawsuit has to do with the fact that in West's recent appearance on the Drink
Champs podcast.
On the what podcast?
Drink Champs.
Drink Champs?
Drink Champs.
Never heard of it?
Haven't watched it?
But he made a controversial statement about Floyd's death, saying he died as a result of fentanyl use.
In a news release that discussed the lawsuit filed by Roxy Washington, the mother of Gianna Floyd, lawyers said West made false statements about George Floyd's death to promote his brands and increase market value and revenue for himself, his business partners and associates.
How would talking about his death by fentanyl increase his market share or revenue?
I don't know.
I don't know, but the full interview has since been removed from the Drink Champs YouTube and Revolt TV, but clips and comments have continued to circulate on the internet and social media, where, of course, Kanye West is now pretty much banned.
He's had his Twitter removed, and I think he lost his Instagram and his Facebook for some controversial statements.
The interests of the child are priority, attorney Nuru Witherspoon, partner at the Witherspoon Law Group, said.
George Floyd's daughter is being traumatized by Kanye West's comments, and he's created an unsafe and unhealthy environment for her.
Unsafe, unhealthy environment.
And no one cares about the unsafe and unhealthy environment that the George Floyd riots have created across the entire country, largely for blacks.
Because as the CDC data shows, and the FBI statistics, which you've cited, show since the George Floyd murder, it's largely blacks who have bore the brunt of the de-policing movement across the United States of America.
That's right.
But black lives don't matter when they are killed by fellow blacks.
Nope.
Well, $250 million worth of trauma she has suffered, this poor girl.
I guess she's our regular listener.
I want to say that Kanye West, there's an amazing meme that I've seen, and unfortunately my computer is not able to update, but I believe that Kanye West dedicated, I think, two million dollars to George Floyd's daughter for her education.
He did?
I believe he did.
And I would love to get confirmation of this.
And now they're coming for far more zeros.
Another 250.
Well gosh, well I guess hurt feelings are worth a whole lot more than an education.
This is the era of victimization and honoring victims.
Even when it's a black man victimizing George Floyd's daughter.
Well, there has been something of a frolic in Baltimore that gave rise to what I can't help but admire in a form of Hispanic wisdom.
This was a group of students attending Lansdowne High School in Baltimore.
And this is one of these classic brawls in the halls and in the video.
The school's principal gets pushed over by a student before a punch is swung in her direction, and at various points, members of the staff try to break up the fighting, but the students just keep fighting anyway.
But the most striking moment is when the principal, Allison Seymour, moves in to stop the action, gets knocked over, and somebody seems to be gone after her.
Well, the significance of this, I think, is what Darren Badillo, a member of the Baltimore County Parent and Student Coalition, said.
How can our kids learn when they're in this fight or flight mood?
We wonder why their grades and proficiency levels are down so low because how can these kids learn when they're surrounded by violence?
Then he says, but they don't want to suspend kids that are black or Hispanic.
I guess I didn't have to specify that there was not a single white face in this brawl except the teachers.
Because, says Mr. Badillo, that's said to be a pathway to jail.
But if we don't hold these children accountable in the classroom, we will see them in the courtroom.
Well, good for him!
Hooray for Badillo!
No white person would dare say this.
So, it takes sometimes those who are non-white to speak the truth about other non-whites.
Meanwhile, in New York City, the NYPD is hunting a man who pushed someone else in front of an oncoming train Saturday morning, leaving good Samaritans to rescue him with just seconds to spare.
Now, isn't...
Isn't that just the most frightening idea?
You're waiting for the train to come.
I think in New York City, people sort of stand in the middle of the platform.
Nobody stands at the edge anymore.
Oh, I'm very cognizant when I go anywhere and I have to ride a train.
I stand nowhere near it.
I'm always looking around.
Always look around.
Yeah, it's astonishing how you have to have situational awareness at all times now in 2022 America.
The pusher, wide-eyed and with unkempt hair, stalked the 26-year-old man for several seconds and then ran behind him and pushed him under the path of an oncoming train.
He then vamoosed while shocked onlookers hauled the guy up onto the platform just in the nick of time.
In this case, both the perp and the victim were black.
So, this guy was just some loony psycho or just hates everybody.
As it turns out, at least 12 people have been shoved onto subway tracks in New York City this year.
And I believe, from what I can tell, every single pusher was black.
Subway murders have risen to their highest in 25 years, despite plummeting ridership.
In 2019, an average of 142 million people rode the subway every month, about 4 million people a day.
Now, the monthly ridership is down to 81 million from 142 million.
Incredible.
That's a real fall.
And yet, felony crime on the subway is up by 42% compared to last year.
There were six murders in 2020, eight in 2021, and that's already eight with two and a half months left in the year.
I mean, what an idea!
You ride the subway, you're going to work, you're afraid of being pushed onto the tracks, afraid of being killed one way or another.
Well, New York City Mayor Eric Adams, also, of course, one of our really prominent African-American fellow citizens, claimed that there's only a perception of crime, that only a perception that crime is out of control.
At his press conference to make this claim, ironically, he was barely audible over the sound of sirens wailing in the background.
And in Britain. Oh, by the way, if I could interject real quick, just because this is going to put a bow on that
beautiful Kanye West story.
OK, this is from June 4th, 2020.
Kanye West donates two million dollars, pays college tuition for George Floyd's daughter.
He established a 5 to 9 education plan to fully cover college tuition for Gianna Floyd, the six year old daughter.
Boy, somehow the news accounts of this suit have not mentioned that, have they?
Good for you for remembering that, Mr. Kersey.
He also paid two million dollar donations to support the families of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, and Breonna Taylor.
What do all three of those have in common?
All three of those stories are surrounded with now myth.
And fantasy and utter love.
Those are contemporary heroes.
The spirit of Emmett Till marches on.
A Hydra that has remade America.
Well, this is a good story.
A retired biomedical scientist who posted, only women have a cervix, has been booted from the profession.
A blood expert, Malcolm Needs, was accused of uploading a string of social media posts that a disciplinary panel found were offensive and discreditable.
He had spent four decades working chiefly in London in blood transfusion before he retired in 2016.
Well, he tweeted this.
Only women have a cervix.
There, I said it.
It's not hard.
Women also have a right to women-only spaces.
Speaking up in defense of women's rights doesn't mean we can't respect how others wish to live their lives.
Oh, bad!
Of the illegals who are paddling across the channel, he said, and make them pay, like they paid the people smugglers to come over in the first place and give our taxpayers a rest.
He also said putting illegals up in five-star hotels has saved the hotel industry.
So let's save the airline industry by flying the fuckers home.
That's a great idea.
Yes.
The committee also cited a tweet that said multiculturalism destroys culture.
The panel found this to be inflammatory, divisive, and prejudiced.
Another post, is there anything that's not racist?
That was found to be intentionally inflaming a controversial and heated situation.
But wait a minute, why is there a controversial and heated situation to begin with?
That could provoke such a comment as, is anything not racist?
Well, and then there were posts that disparaged Black Lives Matter.
Dr. Needs said it's trying to rule the country.
Black History Month, he said, this demeans and insults non-black history.
But what is interesting, he was contacted by the Health and Care Profession Tribunal Service to come in and get his brain hosed down, and he refused.
He wrote to the tribunal.
How many times do I have to tell you I want nothing to do with your kangaroo court, and that if I get one more email about this, I will take legal advice about harassment?
Now, as it turns out, I read about this guy, and the commenters love him.
They absolutely love him.
So there is a certain amount of spunk left in the British people.
And we've come to the end of our time.
Mr. Kersey, it happens every week.
You know, I'm hoping that next week we'll have the race of the individual who attacked Gene McGuire in Boston.
Well, you track that down for me.
I'll keep up to date on it, because again, that's one of those stories.
Give us the data!
And in the meantime, if anybody out there knows, you can send the information to amran.com at the contact us page, or... Hey, all one word, because we live here, at protonmail.com once again.
Because we live here at Protonmail.com.
