Time Text
Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to Radio Renaissance.
I am your host, Jared Taylor, with American Renaissance.
And with me, as usual, is Paul Kersey, the one and only.
And as has become customary, we'd like to begin with a little listener comment.
And this one in particular is about the fact that occasionally we have race realist meows in the background because a cat sometimes wanders into the studio.
These remarks are rhyming, and they go like this.
A weekly bit of insight on the topics of the day is relished by the listeners of Messrs.
T and K. But when the show is over and the commentaries ceased, whose words were most enlightening?
That caterwauling beast.
That's pretty good.
Thank you, sir.
Thank you, loyal and clever and poetical listener.
We also had a comment that I thought was really spot on.
This is someone says, in your last podcast, you mentioned Ibram Kendi's children's book for ages zero through three called Anti-Racist Baby.
Ibram Kendi.
Yes, he's one of our heroes.
Our listener goes on to say, on the cover is a picture of a bearded black man.
Raising his right arm in the air, no doubt giving the black power salute, with a somewhat lighter-skinned girl baby hanging in a carrier on his chest.
And you quoted one of the important lines from the book.
Anti-racist baby is bred, not born.
Now, isn't this an admission that preference for one's own kind is natural?
Built-in?
In people of all races, and has to be knocked out of them?
Well, I guess that's true.
Anti-racist baby has to be bred, not born.
He's not born anti-racist.
But I think this is probably a message for white people.
White people have to turn their babies into anti-racist babies.
My suspicion is that in Ibram Kendi's mind, all black babies are born anti-racist.
It's just in their DNA.
And we have another comment.
Another comment from a listener who says that Donald Trump was roasted for doing the tomahawk chop at the World Series.
You know all about these things, Mr. Kersey.
You know about World Serieses and professional sports and all of this colossal nonsense signifying nothing.
But apparently, he was a fan of the Cleveland Indians and he made the tomahawk chop.
It was actually the Atlanta Braves, so if that came from a... What?
It was the Atlanta Braves that won the World Series, so it's okay.
The Cleveland Indians are now the Cleveland Guardians because they had to give their Chief Wahoos, so the Indians changed their names.
It was the Atlanta Braves.
Our listener is perhaps as ill-informed as I.
In any case, if they would only make it clear that the tomahawk and the tomahawk chop, this represents its use by Native Americans to scalp and torture white men, women, and children.
Then every time it's used by the fans in the stands, it could be a symbol of opposition to colonialism or death to all white people.
Then it would be okay, right?
Brilliant idea.
Now, I suppose, since we are located in Virginia, the big news has to do here, locally, and we won't spend too much time on it, is the election that just took place on Election Day, where the Republicans took back the House of Delegates, and they won a clean sweep of statewide offices.
That is to say, Glenn Youngkin for Governor, Winsome Sears for Lieutenant Governor, and Jason Miyares, Attorney General.
Well, this was probably the most colorful ticket in Republican statewide history.
At the top of the ticket, there was a white man, but Winston Sears is a black woman, an immigrant, and Jason Meiris is Hispanic.
Would you call him a white Hispanic?
I don't know what I would call him.
He looks pretty white, but he's a Hispanic.
And you should preface and point out that the Now, a lieutenant governor-elect is also a Jamaican immigrant.
Yes, she is an immigrant.
She's not an African-American.
No, no.
She is an immigrant and definitely not white.
One of the reasons why Youngkin apparently won, the governor, he would ban CRT in Virginia schools, the COVID lockdowns and opposition to that may be part of it, and of course people are saying this is a referendum on Joe Biden.
I hope that's the case.
One never really knows why people vote as they do.
But I thought it was very curious, some of the reaction to this.
A fellow named Wajihat Ali.
He is a columnist at the Daily Beast.
He welcomed the news by saying, Whiteness remains undefeated.
Despite the fact that we're black and Hispanic.
And Mehdi Hassan of MSNBC.
What did he say?
Yes, Youngkin did in fact run on straight up racism.
I wonder how many members of my liberal industry will be willing to say this straight up tomorrow at all the Virginia postmortems.
He ran on straight-up racism.
That's, of course, because he's opposed to CRT.
And, of course, there were people like CNN's Eva McKend.
She is a black lady reporter.
She repeated the assertion that critical race theory was not being taught in Virginia schools.
It's all a mirage, you see.
This is all whipped up.
By racist white people and racist black people and racist Hispanic people at the top of the ticket trying to whip up those racist white people and all those protests in Loudoun County where people went to the PTA and raged about critical race theory.
It was all a mirage.
All mass hysteria.
But I suppose we should not blame Mehdi Hassan of saying it was all straight up racism and of Wajihat Ali the Daily Beast saying that whiteness remains undefeated because you may not be aware of this, Mr. Kersey, but USA Today had a highlight reporting of candidates of color who made history in various elections.
And did you know they failed to mention both Winsome Sears and Jason Meiris?
They left them out.
Were all of the candidates featured in this US Today profile Democrats?
They turned out to be.
Okay.
But this was, you guessed it, and of course Winsome Sears is the first woman of color ever to be elected to a statewide office in Virginia, and Jason Meiris is certainly the state's first Hispanic Attorney General, but Republicans Just don't count!
They were talking about Asian-American Michelle Wu winning the Boston mayoral race and Eric Adams becoming, not the first, but the second black mayor of New York City.
That's important!
That first one wasn't all that great, but if the first you can't succeed, try and try again.
Well, you don't think it was that great?
Well, I was living there when he was there, and I can tell you it was not that great.
I did know that you were in New York during the Deacons era.
I was there.
I was one of David Dinkins' poor, oppressed citizens.
And then, of course, Ed Gainey became the first black mayor of Pittsburgh.
That was worthy of notice.
And Aftab Puriwal became the first Asian-American mayor of Cincinnati.
Now, Pittsburgh is still one of the few remaining white-majority cities, so it's interesting to me.
I did not follow that race at all, but now it has a black mayor.
Isn't that progressive?
Now, I would also point out that there were three ballot measures in the state of Virginia, in various places, whether or not to keep Confederate monuments.
All of them won by overwhelming, crushing majorities.
The monuments stay up.
And I, who live in Fairfax County, where the world headquarters of New Century Foundation and American Renaissance are located, I got a little note in the mail saying that my opinion has been solicited as to whether Confederate names should be removed from Lee Highway and, uh, let's see, there's a Jackson Lee Highway as well.
And I'm astonished that they're actually asking the opinions of the residents and the voters.
So we will see how that goes in the heart of ferociously liberal Fairfax County.
The one thing that's fascinating is Republicans did take back, I believe, the state legislature in Virginia as well.
Yes, they now have.
Some of the votes are not quite in yet, but they think they've gotten it back.
So they can basically, for you living there in Virginia, they can basically say, hey, all these gun laws that were passed?
Nope, they're gone.
Oh, we can go back to maybe protecting some of these monuments.
We will see what happens.
We will see what happens.
Now, unfortunately, Glenn Youngkin, he did think that the Richmond Lee statue should come down, but he opposed it being cut into pieces.
I doubt he's going to wave a magic wand and have it spring back together to be one in peace.
But we will see about that.
To me, one of the craziest things that the Democrat legislature wrote passed was that if you want to hire a housekeeper or if you want to hire a babysitter, you cannot specify age or sex.
So if you want to hire somebody to be a babysitter to watch your seven-year-old girl and some creepy-looking 25-year-old man is eager to babysit your young girl, You can't say, no, no, no, I would prefer a lady.
Now how they will enforce this, I don't know, but that's the law in the state of Virginia.
You cannot discriminate on the basis of sex.
So we shall see.
Woke, woke, woke.
Awaken from this wokeness.
Golly gosh, I'd rather go back to sleep.
Now, Mr. Kersey, Minneapolis had a vote, too.
A terrible, reactionary, shocking vote.
They want to keep their police department.
Minneapolis, of course, the heart of the racial reckoning that started last two Mays ago, I should say.
May 2020.
So there was a ballot measure in place that would have proposed a charter amendment to eliminate the city's police department and replace it with a public safety agency.
A lot of people thought this was going to pass.
A lot of people thought this was going to pass with flying colors.
Probably when it was put on the ballot, but we know that this has been one of the most violent years in Minneapolis history.
That's because of the police!
All of these police are running around stimulating violence.
We know that a youth football league has decided to move all of their games from Minneapolis over safety concerns because of a shooting of a 15 year old at a fourth grade football game that was wrapping up there in the city.
You know, you want the kids to grow up in a safe, relatively stress-free environment, if at all possible, said the Leaks Commissioner.
So they said, we're out of this dysfunctional city.
I bet there was a policeman there who provoked the shooting.
More than likely.
Well, so what happens?
Why tell you all of this?
Why tell you that Minneapolis is going through record homicides and record number of non-fatal shootings?
What is going to happen?
Are we going to have these?
Public Safety Agency replaced the police?
Not today, folks.
Minneapolis is still about 62% white, so I guess enough white people came out to vote because 57% of voters voted no versus 43% of the voters who voted yes on the ballot question.
So the police are staying.
So the city charter is not going to be amended to remove the MPD and replace it with the Department of Public Safety.
That's such an Orwellian sounding name, if you think about it.
It would have gotten rid of the minimum police staffing requirement as well as the position of chief of police.
Huh.
What would the head of this department have been?
I'm looking right now.
The czarina of public safety, probably.
You know, I'm sure they could find a Somalian to pop up in that position.
The charter amendment was drafted in response to calls to defund or dismantle the police department, of course, following the murder of St.
George Floyd himself.
Millions of dollars were raised and spent by both supporters and opponents leading up to the election day.
Just real quick, a statement from Yes For Minneapolis.
Quote, they said this in regards to the defeat.
This campaign began with working-class black and brown residents marching together to demand a higher standard of public safety in the city.
It grew into a citywide movement that spanned race, income, and neighborhoods to give residents a say in their future and to advocate for the resources that they need.
While this is not the result that we hoped for, the story of our movement must be told."
So they raised millions, but in the end of the day, the fact that the city still retained a white majority Albeit dropping, because a lot of white people are saying, hey, you know what?
I don't think we want to live in these autonomous George Floyd zones.
As you know, in some of the past episodes, we've talked about that area, which had basically been shut down.
And we talked about all the violence that occurred there.
So, turns out, you know, is this the pendulum beginning to swing?
I'm going to pose a question to you.
Who knows?
Who knows?
There are some sides.
Well, all this is, is you could also argue that the insanity, the move towards insanity is slightly slowing down.
Maybe they'll put it on the ballot next year.
They'll keep trying.
As they said, the fight continues.
But moving on to Dorchester, Massachusetts, the William Henderson Inclusion School is closed today.
And it is closed for really a terrifying reason.
It's closed because yesterday the principal and another staff member were attacked by a student during dismissal.
When Boston Police arrived at the school Wednesday afternoon, an officer found the principal of the Upper Campus, Patricia Lamperin, unconscious on the ground.
The 61-year-old principal had broken ribs and a head injury.
Another staff member was hit as well, but the extent of those injuries is not known.
So, a 16-year-old girl was arrested and will be arraigned in Dorchester Juvenile Court on assault and battery charges, knocked the principal out cold, and broke her ribs.
For heaven's sake!
Officers described the attack as very violent.
It was all done in front of other staff, students, and parents.
Of course, in broad daylight, just after students had been dismissed.
Now, the people of Dorchester will be happy to know the Boston Public Schools Crisis Team and other support staff will be available for students and teachers when they return to school on Friday.
I'm not quite sure what good those people do, but they'll be available.
Needless to say, the principal, Patricia Lamperin, is white.
Now, the race of the perp is unmentioned, but the fact that we know the name of this school, Henderson Inclusion School, gives us a hint.
And in fact, of all Massachusetts schools, according to various websites, it's in the top 5% for diversity.
So it should be a strong and wonderful place, because diversity is our greatest strength.
It is majority Black and Hispanic.
Whites comprise only 20%.
None of the students is listed as gifted.
And as usual, for schools like this, its student-to-teacher ratio is just 9 to 1, which is considerably lower than that of the Massachusetts average, which is 13 to 1.
I suspect that expenditures per pupil are considerably higher than the state average, but I do not have those figures.
And yet, a 16-year-old girl, this was not a boy, a 16-year-old girl knocked out the principal And broke her ribs.
All very charming.
So I suspect, chances are, that it was not the white girl.
Chances are it was not a Hispanic girl either.
But you never know.
And I suspect we will never know.
This is one of those things.
She is a juvenile after all.
Her privacy must be respected.
And so I suspect it will be till the end of time.
And we will never know who it was who knocked out Patricia Lamperin and broke her ribs.
Now, At the same time, as I understand it, Mr. Kersey,
Driving while black just got a whole lot less stressful in one of our major metropolises.
The cradle of the Constitution, Philadelphia.
You know, the reason why I wanted to read this story was to note the triumphant editorial manner in which News One, which is a black news organization, this is from their organization.
So I want to read how they wrote it, how they tailor it.
Now this, Mr. Taylor, News One, as you remember, they get massive, massive corporate sponsorship.
You look on their website, ads from top 100 corporations.
Flourishing, flourishing website.
You know, I was just looking at the Roots website.
Boy, it is bristling with ads!
Golly!
And all of, as you say, these big companies, they must make a bundle in ad revenue.
It's corporations doing their indulgences because none of these CEOs want to get Papa Johned, if you remember.
Papa John.
I do.
Boy, they're loving that stuff.
They've got to crawl on their bellies and smite the ground seven times with their foreheads and say, black lives matter, matter, matter, matter, matter.
But yes, please continue.
BLMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM In Philadelphia, black drivers are more than three times as likely to be stopped for such secondary violations than motorists from any other group.
So the city of Philadelphia has taken steps to outright ban its police officers from initiating traffic stops for minor infractions, a move that should prompt a collective sigh of relief for black drivers in particular who are disproportionately targeted for such moving violations.
The Philadelphia Driving Equality Bill specifically prohibits city cops from making any traffic stops for secondary violations including cards that have a broken taillight, display and registration, or inspection stickers incorrectly.
The bill was signed into law by the white Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kinney on Wednesday in an effort to endear police with the communities that they serve.
So, basically, an office of public safety that Minneapolis wanted.
That's what the police are now.
You know, if you can't be stopped for having expired this or broken that, why ever bother to get it fixed?
Why bother to get tested?
Why bother to get your car registered?
I don't know if Pennsylvania, if we have any listeners in Pennsylvania and Philadelphia, I don't know if they mandate emissions checks like most states do, but if you've got... I've gotten a ticket one time for not having my emissions fixed.
It was off by a month and they still gave me a ticket.
Oh, I've had the same.
It sucks!
Yes, well, but here's once again an example.
Just because blacks can't follow the rules, then they got to eliminate the rules.
But I really wonder, how are they going to enforce any of this?
Maybe if you have already come to a stop, then they can walk up to you and worry about it?
No, it's astonishing to me.
Why bother with taillights?
Why bother with any of that stuff if there's no way for the police to make sure you do what you're supposed to do?
Anyway, sorry, I interrupted again.
I think that was a great point.
I think again, why, if you're...
If you're white and live in Philadelphia, I think you just got a license to never get your broken taillight fixed, or as you said, registration?
Ah, no, why not?
Expired tag?
Ah, so what?
I guess if you travel outside Philadelphia, Then you could be stopped if you go to one of those suburbs, but this doesn't apply.
Oh, those nasty white suburbs.
Exactly, the rest of the heavily white state, you know, if you're going to drive out to the Mennonite areas or the Quakers.
I don't know, you just keep a sort of city car and a country car.
So here's the Philadelphia Driving, so we talked about it, a great name again, the Philadelphia Driving Equality Bill.
Here's what the white mayor said.
Now here's where it gets fun.
White Mayor said, today I signed an executive order to implement the legislation outlined
in the driving equality bills introduced by Council Member Isaiah Thomas.
This legislation establishes Philadelphia as the first large US city to ban minor traffic
stops with the goal of healing police community relations.
Now, here's where it gets fun.
So this is like that great book, The New Jim Crow, where they basically show all the stats of why blacks are in jail
and we're supposed to feel bad about it, as if it's somehow white people's fault that black
individuals collectively commit the majority of the crime in the United States.
How is it our fault, if you were a citizen of Philadelphia, that the majority of secondary violations are committed by individual blacks collectively?
As you said, because blacks don't follow the rule of law, the rule of law must be abandoned.
So here's what News 1 writes.
What Kenny did not mention is how much less stressful driving while black will be for minorities in a city that is about 44% black.
Councilman Thomas didn't mention it either when he said that, quote, data and lived experiences showed us the problem, end quote.
Those lived experiences Thomas talked about, though, were likely provided by black drivers, whose statistics show are more likely to be pulled over by police for the aforementioned secondary violations, or pretextual stops, that white motorists get passes for.
Well, now see, that's the question.
Do white voters really get passes?
I suspect not.
Cops hardly can even see what the race of the driver is most of the time.
In any case, see, I bet you any amount of money they're pulled over more often because they're in violation more often.
That's the long and the short of it.
Yeah, there was an ABC News study conducted last year that showed that black drivers in Philadelphia are more than three times as likely to be stopped for such secondary violations.
Probably because they're three times more likely to commit those violations.
Actually, probably statistically more than that because I'm sure there's some cops who are like, I know what happened to Derek Chauvin.
I'm not going to pull this guy over.
I know what happened to all these other cops who've tried to I'm sure it will.
I'm sure Larry Krasner is just pleased as punch.
taking care of your car, to me that's a great sign that probably something's wrong.
If it's the registrations out of date, if the taillights aren't fixed, I mean this is
simple stuff guys, ladies and gentlemen.
So there you are, first major city.
I'm sure that domino is going to start falling nationwide.
I'm sure it will.
I'm sure Larry Krasner is just pleased as punch.
More time to concentrate on the crimes that really matter.
An interesting study has reported that 30% of white Americans who apply to colleges or
universities admit to lying about being a racial minority.
34% who admit.
That's more than a third.
More than a third admitted that they claimed not to be white.
Doesn't that completely repudiate Amber McKinney's idea of America being this white supremacy dominated... They just need to be educated, these white people.
The most common lie, and this is 48% of those who lied, was to claim to be Native American.
That's a third who admitted it.
I wonder how many did it and didn't admit it.
White men were three times as likely as white women to lie, or at least admit they lied.
48% to 16%.
I guess women are more timid.
Now, why they lied.
57% of those who lied said they thought they'd get a better chance of being admitted, and 35% said they thought that lying would get them a better aid package.
What's more, more than three-fourths of those who lied, 77%, said they were admitted to the colleges they lied to.
So maybe it worked.
And 85% of them said they thought the lie helped.
So there you go.
Colleges, according to reports, do not routinely attempt to verify applicants' answers on what race or ethnicity they are.
Now, this is what really thought that this was the best line of the whole story.
Ángel B. Pérez, doesn't sound like an Irishman to me, CEO of the National Association for College Admission Counseling, says this.
These data truly sadden me.
The fact that students would believe they would be discriminated against for being white goes to show that we have a lot of work to do in this country around racial reckoning and understanding systemic inequality.
I'll read that again.
Read please, please.
The fact that students would believe, oh horrors, they would believe they'd be discriminated against for being white goes to show that we have a lot of work to do in this country around racial reckoning and understanding systemic inequality.
They've got to be absolutely educated that none of this has happened.
No, no, no.
It's only your imagination.
Only your imagination.
Systemic inequality is going to help you.
Come on, if you claim you're black, you know that you'll go to the back of the bus and not get admitted.
Is that what this guy is trying to tell white people?
Astonishing.
Now, here's another little interesting piece of survey data that came in last week.
A new national survey by the non-profit Public Religion Research Institute, of which I had never heard, asked the following question.
Do you agree or do you disagree that because things have gotten so off track, true American patriots may have to resort to violence in order to save our country?
That's quite a question.
Things are so off track, True American patriots may have to resort to violence in order to save our country.
30% of Republicans agree.
This is violence.
Let's go back and let's preface all this by saying this is not something that we are condoning at all.
Of course not!
I want you to repeat everything that you just said for any listener out there who's thinking, wait a second.
No, this is a survey by the Public Religion Research Institute.
And they posed the question, because things have gotten so off track, true American patriots may have to resort to violence in order to save our country.
30% of Republicans apparently said yes.
What percent of independents?
17%.
And 11% of Democrats.
Now, that's quite a mix of people who are going to be mixing it up.
Robert Jones, CEO and founder of the Public Religion Research Institute says, the responses to this question illustrate the significant and rapidly increasing polarization in the United States.
Rapidly?
That's not strong enough of a word there.
Well, I don't know.
We don't know what it was like 10 years ago.
Maybe the numbers were higher.
Come on.
This is one spot in time.
No, I suspect these are very, very surprisingly high numbers.
They also found out that more than two-thirds of Republicans, 68%, continue to believe the 2020 presidential election was stolen from Donald Trump.
26% of independents believe this.
You know how many Democrats believe?
6% of Democrats think it was stolen.
I think that too is interesting.
But those are astonishing figures.
68% of Republicans think the election was stolen and 6% of Democrats would concede that it was stolen.
Of course, since spring of 2020, The FBI has more than doubled its number of domestic terrorism investigations and guess how many cases are actively open now?
I won't put you on the spot.
2,700.
For domestic?
Domestic terrorism.
Are a lot of those associated with J6?
I have no idea.
I have no idea.
I don't know.
But they've got to keep an eye on those PTA moms who don't want critical race theory taught in school, you know.
There are quite a few of them.
So yeah, 2,700 active open cases.
Wow!
Wouldn't it be fascinating to get the inside dope on what those cases are?
I'm sure there's a lot of cross-pollination between some of these alphabet groups as we learned of what happened actually in the so-called Governor Whitmire kidnapping plot.
Yes, yes.
A lot of these people are probably working for certain three-letter organizations that are being investigated as they try and entrap people.
No, no, don't arrest me!
Oh, no, no.
I'm with the FBI.
Come on.
Uh-oh, uh-oh, uh-oh.
Yeah.
Now, here's an interesting story.
From Harvard University.
From Harvard.
Where the best of the future of America is brewed up daily.
A Harvard University Theatre will host a performance of a reimagined take on Shakespeare's Macbeth exclusively for Black-identifying audience members.
So, wait, wait, wait.
Black-identified audience members.
Yeah.
Keep going.
I'm curious if we can actually sneak in.
Well, I don't think so.
I mean, black-identifying.
Now, you could say I identify as black.
I wouldn't believe you, but somebody might.
Now, this is the first of a five-part series that the theater commissioned from artist Whitney White involving excavating the women from Shakespeare's Canon.
So this is Shakespeare's Macbeth, reimagined, and it's exclusively for black identifying audience members.
The production uses pop, rock, gospel, and R&B to trace the fatalistic arc of Lady Macbeth, who will no doubt be not in blackface, but genuinely black, while lifting up contemporary black female power, black female power, black femininity, and black female desire.
Sounds riveting.
Wow, wow, wow.
Now, what are the possibilities that Whitney White is flaked?
Well, according to her website, she is passionate about black stories, reconstructing classics, stories for and about women, genre-defying multimedia work and film, and she is, or she better identify as white, because I think anybody actually seeing her photograph would probably identify her, I'm sorry, I beg your pardon, identify as black, because anybody seeing her photograph would certainly identify her that way.
The website for Harvard University Theater thanks non-Black allies for their support in making this a completely Black-identifying evening.
So it sounds as though the cast is all Black, the audience is going to be all Black, the director's Black, the production team is Black, it's just going to be Black, Black, Black, Black, Black.
Now I wonder, if you were to attend, would they bodily drag you out of the theater, Mr. Kirby?
I don't know.
I mean, wouldn't that be assault?
I don't know.
If you identify as black and then you're dragged into a theater, would that be trying to theater while black?
You know, you could make a civil rights case that you were, you know, you were violently, you identify as black.
You are the new Rosa Parks.
I am gonna sit down in the seat reserved for black folks.
I am the new Rosa Parks.
What a night that's uniquely black, isn't it?
Golly, golly.
Well, so there you go.
That's going to be an exciting time.
Of course, white people never get it right, you know.
If we were to do that, that would be wicked and that would be segregationist and exclusionist.
But we're supposed to say, yes, Massa, and do as we're told.
Now, of course, the chief of McDonald's can't get it right.
Poor boy.
This one, actually, I'm surprised has not gotten more press.
You know, because McDonald's is a 365 black company.
They've done Far more indulgences than probably any of the corporations.
They're out there when it comes to bending the knee after the George Floyd incident.
Well, they've got very well-oiled knees.
Yes, they do.
They've got very well-lubricated knees.
They get a little bit of that fat from the French fries they make in their franchises.
And they say, you know what?
How far do we need to bend down today?
This story is interesting.
McDonald's CEO's racist text to Chicago mayor sparks protest.
So here is where we are now, Mr. Taylor and dear listeners.
From around the world, as I'm sure you're eating a Big Mac, here's where we are in terms of what constitutes as racism.
Here we go.
McDonald's head honcho Chris Kempcinski is under fire over a racist and ignorant text message he sent to our favorite mayor, All the United States, Chicago's Mayor Lori Lightfoot about shootings in the city.
Critics say the message sent on April 19th, but revealed just this past Tuesday, November 2nd, appeared to blame parents who failed their children.
quote, p.s. tragic shootings in last week both are at our restaurant yesterday and with adam
toledo with both the parents failed those kids which i know is something you can't say
even harder to fix well so these are children who were shot at a mcdonald's restaurant
yeah one of them was at one of the franchises in chicago I'm going to repeat to you what he said.
Quote, P.S.
Tragic shootings in the last week, both at our restaurant yesterday and with Adam Toledo.
With both, the parents failed.
And with Adam Toledo?
That was another shooting that happened at, I think, a high school or middle school or some, in a park.
I see.
So that was not at a McDonald's.
But okay, he goes on to say with, or text, with both the parents, with both the parents failed those kids, which I, which I know is something you can't say.
Even harder to fix.
He said, according to WBZ Chicago, which obtained the text through a Freedom of Information Act request.
The text was sent shortly after Lightfoot had visited the McDonald's headquarters and appeared to be referring to the deaths of Jocelyn Adams, 7-year-old, who was killed the day before, the text, and her father's car outside a Chicago-area McDonald's, and Adam Toledo, who was fatally shot by police the month prior.
Activist groups are now reportedly planning a protest outside of the McDonald's headquarters there in Chicago.
The group of 12 organizations, including Fight for $15, that's $15 minimum wage, and the Chicago Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression, will also publish an open letter addressing the text.
McDonald's area workers were supposed to walk off the job Wednesday, according to the protest, according to WBEZ.
Now, of course, if you've been to McDonald's recently, you know they have kiosks everywhere now because they're beginning to realize that having a lot of employees is superfluous in an era of automation and demands for 15-hour minimum wage calls, which, of course, only cut into the profits and drive up the costs of Sandwiches and drinks at McDonald's.
And increase unemployment.
It does.
For those with no skills, but anyway.
So here's what Chris Kempcinski said, quote, he acknowledged that the text was wrong.
He said quote in the text exchange. I think mere light foot for the visit and reflected our conversation about the
recent tragedies Commenting that the parents failed those kids when I wrote
this I was thinking through my lens as a parent and reacted viscerally
But I have not walked in the shoes of Adams or Jessalyn's father family and so many others who are facing a very
different reality Not taking the time to think about this from their
viewpoint was wrong and lacked empathy and compassion I feel for these families. This is a lesson that I will
carry with me He said that McDonald's will remain committed to working with civic and community leaders
to bring an end to the recent surge of gun violence in Chicago.
He then said this, quote, We're a Chicago company, born and raised.
There is so much about our city to make us proud.
That doesn't negate that there is also much that needs to be addressed to ensure our best days are ahead of us.
And I can't think of a more urgent priority than ensuring these tragedies come to an end, end quote.
So that, Mr. Taylor, is why the CEO of McDonald's has been labeled a racist.
Hmm.
Because he suggested the parents might have had something to do with the fact that their children got shot.
Well, I wonder what time of day this was.
When I understand one was shot in a car at a McDonald's, I wonder what time of day.
What were the circumstances?
Was this some drug?
This is probably some drug dealer got into a gunfight with some other drug dealer and child was killed.
I mean, I don't know what the circumstances are.
It'd be interesting to know.
But for him to suggest the parents had any responsibility, that's pure racism.
I now understand.
I will never suggest such a thing ever again in my life because I don't want to be accused of racism.
Well, here's an interesting story.
This was from the Daily Mail, if I recall correctly, and it had to do with Amanda Neal, age 23, from Fort Worth, Texas.
She's a white girl and she apparently uses dating apps, but she apparently is so Deluged with interested men that she figured out a way to winnow out the guys with bigoted views.
So what she's come up with is that she asks them a question.
She says, what is your most controversial point of view?
One person wrote back and said, men and women are never going to be equal.
It's simply biology.
Well, so that guy got, what is it?
Right swipe?
Left swipe?
I can't remember.
I don't remember.
I don't know either.
Are you talking about Tinder or something?
I guess.
I think that's the way it works.
You go one way or the other way.
And then let's see, the other said, there's some opinions about women not belonging in the military.
But then this is one that really shocked her.
One of the men said that his most controversial view was that intelligence is genetic, to which Amanda replied, from both parents or one?
He then responded, race-based, I mean.
Ooh, well, this really shocked Amanda Neal.
She said, I didn't really find any of the opinions too offensive, except the one about intelligence being race-based.
That was shocking.
And dating app Hinge, I guess that's a dating app, Condemned the messages that she received.
Can't talk about sex differences.
They said, we have a strict zero tolerance policy for sexism, racism, bigotry, on or off the app, on or off the app.
If they find you saying bad things, they will boot you off the app.
So you will not find a date.
Gotta do it the old-fashioned way, fellas.
Gotta go to a bar and use a racist pickup line to get the right kind of check, I guess.
If you say that men and women are not equal and it's biology, they say this is hateful and disturbing.
They say we encourage any user who encounters hate speech on Hinge to report it using our specific hate speech reporting option in the app.
They've got one right there in the app.
Wow!
With a single click!
This allows us to act swiftly to remove anyone accused of this behavior from our community.
Boy, oh boy.
Boy, they ain't really cracking down.
Those poor bigoted white boys, they ain't going to get a date.
I've got to throw something out there with you.
I'm surprised some creative mind hasn't thought of creating an unvaxxed dating site.
Think about this weird world we're beginning to live in now, and I think you'd probably find a lot of people who are open to a lot of these inquiring questions that would put off these more woke females.
So, because I'm sure you recall if you looked at the Virginia exit polls, college-educated white women actually went for McAuliffe.
Yes, they did.
College-educated is another way of saying brainwashed.
Exactly, versus uneducated, I'm sorry, uncollege-educated white women went to something like three-fourths for Young and Virginia.
A college education is a dangerous thing.
Unless it's a stem, I'd say.
Now, here's a story from RT, the Russian news service.
The Chinese foreign ministry claimed that discrimination and persecution of Chinese people is a chronic disease that has existed in American society for a long time and has been furthered by attempts to smear the Beijing government.
Did you know that?
I did not know that.
Speaking during a regular press briefing on Monday, foreign minister spokesman Wang Wenbin Urged the U.S.
to tackle racism against people of Chinese origin.
He was asked by a journalist to comment on reports that Chinese scientists are struggling to gain research funding in the U.S.
due to ethnic discrimination.
Have you seen reports like that?
I certainly haven't.
And I'm sure the Chinese government wants lots and lots of research funding for Chinese scientists.
I can't imagine why.
But they want it.
And I wonder how many grants the Chinese government gives to American scientists or any foreign scientists.
But the Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin is incensed because he says Chinese scientists in the U.S.
are not getting the grants they deserve.
Wang said that Beijing has noticed these reports, but claimed that discrimination and persecution of Chinese Americans is not news.
It is a long-standing and indelible stain on the economic and social development of the United States.
You went on to say smear attacks on China and the widespread dissemination of false information about Beijing is inseparable from the hate shown in American society.
Which is why the news today that China is trying to get a thousand more nukes to add to their arsenal.
I think we know where those are.
Well, they've got to wipe out hate and discrimination in North America.
If Ibram Kendi can't do it, the Chinese sure will.
That's right.
They'll do it the right way.
And he called on the US to take effective measures to resolve racial discrimination and safeguard and protect the legitimate rights and interests of ethnic minorities, including those of Chinese descent.
Gosh, I love this coming from the Chinese.
You know, I'm sure they know quite well from their dossiers from there.
From their intelligence reports that, guess what, the people who are doing the attacks on Asians of Chinese descent in the West Coast cities are pretty much all black.
But I want to go back to what you said about the question about the seven-year-old who was shot.
I want to look it up real quick.
Okay, very good.
What did you find out?
These details are gruesome.
Uh-oh.
Westside Chicago McDonald's drive-thru.
This happened in April at 4.15 p.m.
The girl and her 29-year-old father were in a car at the McDonald's drive-thru at Roosevelt Road and Kedzie Avenue at about 4.15 p.m.
when they were both shot.
McDonald's employees said two men jumped out of another car, they were both black, ambushing the family and firing repeatedly into the car.
Police said more than 50 gunshots were fired.
He survives.
Adams was struck multiple times in the body and the man was struck in the torso.
So, not exactly great shot ratio, but spray and pray.
It looks like he didn't do anything specifically irresponsible at that moment.
I mean, the fact that he was in her presence, that's what got this girl killed.
Yeah, the family, it says, believes the child was caught in the middle of a gang-related shooting.
Police have not yet said if the girl's father, Jontae Adams, was the target, but according to records obtained by ABC7-I18, Jontae is currently on parole from Statesville Penitentiary for a drug case.
Well, you know, they tell these people they gotta look after their children.
I'm sure Juante was not married to the mother, but here he is taking the girl out for her perhaps once every six months McDonald's hamburger that daddy actually pays for, and she gets shot.
There is a certain tragic element there.
It's evil.
And it's hard to say that's really Juante's fault.
Yeah, the 29-year-old's father's long criminal history would make him well-known to Chicago narcotics and gang investigators since he's been charged and convicted with multiple class X felonies.
Well, the message is, you know, stay out of jail.
Don't get other drug dealers mad at you because your daughter might be caught in the crossfire.
Well, she's dead, and the McDonald's CEO, a white guy, for saying, hey, step it up, daddy.
Step it up, parents.
Because this is happening.
We know the data.
This is just one little anecdote.
And this got the CEO of McDonald's for actually caring about these little black and brown kids being shot.
He gets called a racist for caring.
Well, it's for thinking that, you know, it's anything other than white supremacy that ended up causing this girl to get shot.
That's his crime.
Well, all this is going to be more better now.
And I'll tell you why.
Because Black Lives Matter Plaza is now a permanent fixture in the nation's capital.
Oh joy.
Black Lives Matter Plaza is a section of 16th Street between K and H Streets.
That's smack downtown.
That's right in the middle of business DC.
And the words Black Lives Matter are painted on the street in huge yellow letters 45 feet high.
I saw a drone photograph of this.
It's really quite impressive from way up in the air.
All of these seagulls flying above will be educated daily that black lives matter.
Now, this was a scene of racial injustice protests in June of 2020, which I suspect is a euphemistic way of saying that a lot of glass shards ended up on the street, 16th Street between K and 8th Street, but now it has been rewarded and memorialized as Black Lives Plaza.
The construction project kicked off in July and it cost 4.8 million dollars.
Pedestrians can now stroll through a walkway that runs down the center of the plaza between traffic lanes on each side of what they call a mural.
Now, this always offends me.
Murals are walls.
If you paint something on a wall, it's a mural.
But apparently, you paint something on a street in Washington, D.C., it's also a mural.
Well, the trouble is, you see, The mural's bold yellow words.
It takes a lot of bravery and boldness to say Black Lives Matter, but their bold yellow words are beginning to fade.
When the plaza was paved over in May, and so to make them permanent, the city has used thermoplastic road marking paint.
Yep.
You know, when America's long gone, there's gonna be some civilization, they'll need a Rosetta Stone, or the equivalent of a Rosetta Stone, because language, you know, the English language will be indecipherable.
They'll be like, what did this mean?
You know, amid the ruins of this once flourishing civilization.
I'll see this.
What was it painted in again?
Thermoplastic paint.
I guess thermoplastic means when you heat it, it hardens.
Exactly.
Wow.
And now there's going to be another three million dollars slated to go towards benches, lighting, and signage.
Signage.
I suppose the signage will explain just why and how much Black Lives Matter.
That makes for eight million dollars.
But this will lift millions from poverty and save hundreds of lives, I have no doubt.
And while we're at it, more news from the Washington DC, our nation's capital.
The African American History Museum of the Smithsonian has a new portrait.
It's not George Floyd.
It's not Oprah Winfrey.
It's not Michelle Obama.
It's...
Drum roll, please.
Breonna Taylor.
Breonna Taylor!
Really?
Go to the head of the class.
Seriously?
You were right.
Oh, gosh.
That was a guess?
I thought it was going to be Ahmaud Arbery, but I... No, Breonna Taylor.
Now, this is by renowned artist Amy Sherald.
She's the lady who painted the official portrait of First Lady Michelle Obama, which I thought was absolutely gruesome.
She is reported privately to have thought it was gruesome too.
But this painting of Breonna Taylor, no relation, was on the cover of Vanity Fair's September 2020 issue, which had a cover story by award-winning author and newly appointed Howard faculty member Ta-Nehisi Coates.
And it retold the story of Taylor's life and death.
It sounds like one of those based-on-a-true-story movies.
Oh, it's pure hagiography?
That just takes liberties of all kind.
It's mostly nonsense.
In any case, Taylor's portrait is part of the museum's new exhibit called Reckoning, colon, Protest, Defiance, Resilience.
It documents the struggles Black Americans face.
Well, Breonna Taylor.
Let us just go over some of the facts.
She'd been in a relationship with DeMarcus Glover, That started in 2016 and lasted until February of 2020, just before the incident that resulted in her death.
He was a drug dealer.
She was well cognizant of the fact Glover had used Taylor's address and phone number for a variety of purposes, including bank statements.
And she rented a car for him.
I guess he didn't have a credit card or she had to rent a car for him because he was unable to.
And when she returned at the rental agency, lo and behold, inside the car was the body of one Fernandez Bowman who had been shot eight times.
I think that should be a significant suggestion to you that you're dating the wrong guy.
She should have swiped right.
Yes, whatever it is.
She'd still be alive if she had swiped right and asked a simple question in the screening process.
What is this?
Hey, are you a drug dealer?
Well, she knew that.
In recorded jailhouse conversations, Glover said that Taylor had been handling his money and that she was holding $8,000 in cash for him while he was in jail.
Taylor had a brand new boyfriend at the time of the shooting.
His name was Kenneth Walker.
He was inside the apartment when plainclothes officers knocked on the door because they had good reason to think that suspicious doings were going on there.
And they announced themselves.
They claim they, uh, the fellow who was with her, Kenneth Walker, who survived the incident, claims that they did not announce.
In any case, he said he thought they were intruders and he fired at them.
A warning shot.
And the shot hit one of the officers in the leg.
The officers fired 32 rough shots and returned.
In return, missed him, more is the pity, but killed her.
So, and did you know that her family got 12 million dollars?
I didn't know that.
That was one of the biggest payouts in Louisville history.
That's probably one of the biggest payouts for one dead black lady in the history of the world.
In any case, yeah, I think you're probably right.
Yes, it was a big payday for the family, but now she is the person who's memorialized in the Smithsonian African American History Museum.
Now, I think you have a story about all things not being as they seem, and it has to do with a fellow who passed as a child who was not.
Big story breaking.
Big story breaking today.
24-year-old Honduran immigrant who's charged with murder in the brutal stabbing death of a Florida man had crossed the U.S.
border illegally months prior while posing as an unaccompanied minor.
This was an investigation the New York Post found out.
Kudos to the New York Post.
Yuri Noel Medina Ulloa was busted October 7th in Jacksonville when he was found covered in blood after allegedly killing Francisco Javier Cullier, 46, a father of four who had taken in the immigrant who told authorities he was merely 17.
Police said they followed a trail of blood back to the victim's home and arrested Ulloa, placing him in a juvenile detention facility.
It wasn't until October 13th Authorities learned his real identity and his true age.
He turned 24 on Friday at Duke Board of Authorities in Texas several months earlier by claiming he was a teenager named Ronell Alexander Hernandez and even told his mom about the ruse.
Quote, when he entered the U.S., he told me, Mommy, I didn't go in with my name, his mother, Wendy Fleur.
Florencia Yula told the Spanish-language Univision Network, she said this, quote, I went in with the name of another person right there at the shelter.
They helped me.
And they thought I was 18.
In keeping with Biden's border policy on unaccompanied minors crossing this border, Yuloa wasn't turned away, but instead placed in a shelter.
He was given a notice to appear and released.
Catch and release, Mr. Taylor.
Catch and release.
Wait, I thought miners were always put into some sort of home of one sort or another.
They just gave him his walking papers.
Eventually, Soulier took Eula to his Jacksonville home.
Quote, Mommy, he's my Uncle Frank, his mother told her on the phone.
Yaloa and Soulier are not related, despite his use of the moniker.
I live with him, but don't worry, he treats me like a son.
It's not clear how he ended up in Florida after being detained in Texas, or whether he was transported by the way of the Biden administration's secret flights to resettle underage immigrants, which is something else that the New York Post so wonderfully exposed recently.
That was a cover story they had.
Real quick, his daughter of the deceased man that this fake, fake minor, fake illegal immigrant minor killed, she said that My dad told me one day he was going to go to the airport and this guy came out of nowhere and was at work the next day.
He talked about how my dad seemed like he was doing a favor for somebody because Yaloa came from where they are super poor.
We feel that someone asked my dad to do it.
My dad was really compassionate like that.
He would help someone who needed it."
End quote.
Well, hate to say it, your dad's dead.
Wow.
Wow.
Terrible story.
Well, yes, things are not always as they seem.
And here's another story along the same line.
There is a certain Dr. Carrie Bourassa, who in Canada was recently, until recently, Scientific Director of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research Institute of Indigenous Peoples' Health.
She also ran an indigenous community-based health research laboratory at the University of Saskatchewan, doing all sorts of good works for indigenous peoples.
For the last 15 years, she has been a professor of Indigenous health, education, and social work at the First Nations University of Canada in Regina.
So, she is about as Indian as you can possibly be.
In 2012, she won the Weeichiwai Siwanan Foundation, Inc.' 's Matisse Award in Health and Science.
Very important contribution to the health of Canadian Indians.
Well, for the last 20 years, and she's now in her late 40s, so it's been going on some time, she said she was born into a family with Métis, Anishinaabe, and Tlingit roots.
Yes.
And in 2019, she gave a TED Talk, and she opened by saying, my name is Morning Star Bear.
And she teared up at the beginning of the talk, during which she wore a bright red blue shawl, a Métis sash, and she carried a feather.
Don't laugh!
I'm going to say it.
I'm emotional, she said, telling the crowd that she could feel her ancestors and, in particular, her Métis grandfather in the room.
I am of the Bear Clan.
I'm Anishinaabe Métis from Treaty 4 territory, she said, explaining she grew up in a dysfunctional family plagued by addiction, violence, and racism due to intergenerational trauma stemming from her family's half-breed status.
She's had her grandfather's Métis and shared heartbreaking stories of racism the family experienced, but he nobly passed on Métis traditions so that she too could be a true Indian.
She also found out that she was Tlingit.
And she first revealed this 16 years ago when she received her spirit name, Tseotat K'tux Ayahana Se'ik, which means Morning Star Bear in the Tlingit language.
And this was all confirmed to her by a Tlingit relative.
Well, the truth has come out.
She's not one bit Indian, not one bit Tlingit, not one bit Anishinaabe, not one bit Métis.
She's from Eastern Europe, namely Russia, Poland, and Czechoslovakia.
And, uh-oh, uh-oh, uh-oh.
So, Janet Smiley, a Métis family medicine professor from the University of Toronto, says it makes you feel sick to have an imposter speaking on behalf of Métis and indigenous people to the country about literally what it means to be Métis.
It's disturbing and upsetting and harmful.
You got no right to tell people who you are in order to gain legitimacy, to get positions and get funding.
I guess white privilege wasn't going to work for her, so she's going to hold a feather and wear a blue sash, a blue cape and a Tlingit sash and say, no, Matisse sash.
Pardon me, I'm getting my Indians mixed up.
I don't know who would buy it, but there's got to be an amazing book possible for someone to write about all these hoaxes.
Well, you know, the fact is I saw a photograph of her.
She's standing next to some of these former comrades who are denouncing her.
She looks a whole lot more Indian than they do.
She's quite dark.
If she'd said to me that my spirit name is whatever it is, and I'm Ashina Abe Matisse from Treaty 4 territory, I'd believe her, especially if she waved a feather at me.
But in any case, a statement released by the University of Saskatchewan has placed Dr. Burasa on leave.
She will not return to any faculty during the investigation.
And the president of the Canadian Institutes of Health, Institute of Indigenous Peoples Studies, says it's apparent that she'll be on indefinite leave.
Now, what does she say about this?
Interesting.
It's apparent I must adhere to Western ideologies, such as blood quantum, to prove something that the communities I serve, the elders who support me and myself already know.
Blood quantums are not our way.
They can feel it in their bones.
So, anyway, she's not going to go fall for this whole phony baloney stuff about blood condoms.
She's going to be an Indian until her dying day.
Tomahawk chop in her honor.
