Time Text
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Radio Renaissance.
This is the latest episode, and the date is August 24, 2021.
I'm Jared Taylor, and with me is my indispensable and irreplaceable host.
And as usual, we're going to begin with a reaction to comments from listeners.
And I believe, Mr. Kersey, this ball is in your court, so would you please proceed and satisfy the curiosity, or at least the sense of justice, of the listener who wrote in to you.
So we've talked at length about what actually happened during the 2008 election.
Arrest for George Floyd.
Now, we've said, I've said that George Floyd put a gun into the belly of a pregnant woman.
Now, the gentleman who wrote in to us said, hey, I can't find this anywhere.
Snope says it didn't happen.
PolitiFact, all these places have said that didn't happen.
Where did you get that she was pregnant?
Did she, did he really put the gun into the belly?
Well, I can tell you that Texas Monthly, It's a magazine in Texas.
They have a story called, What Good is the Posthumous Pardon for George Floyd?
It's written by Michael Hall.
It was published on April 29, 2020.
And we have this line in that article.
There was one exception, a 2008 aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon in which the victim of a home invasion, a pregnant woman, identified Floyd as the man who held a pistol on her while his accomplices robbed her apartment.
Floyd pleaded guilty and went to prison for four years.
Now the Washington Post would give us a little more on that as well.
They published a story on October 26, 2020, George Floyd's encounters with police were constant.
That's the headline of the story.
And the article notes that over time, Floyd's convictions escalated to theft and ultimately armed robbery of a woman who was pistol whipped by a group of men while at their home with her children.
So did he actually put it into her pregnant belly?
We don't know.
We'll have to look at the police report, which we'll try and get.
But we do know the woman was pregnant.
Okay.
She certainly sounds pregnant.
And in any case, George Floyd was no choir boy.
And what did he get?
Posthumous pardons for all of his various crimes?
I hadn't heard of that.
No, no.
There's a push for that by his family.
Oh, gosh.
Well, that's the least he can do.
That's the first step towards sainthood, right?
Unfortunately, yes.
Yes.
Well, I'd like to start with a report from the FBI on the so-called white supremacist armed insurrection.
Apparently, and I'm quoting from a news report, the FBI has found scant evidence that the January 6th attack on the U.S.
Capitol was the result of an organized plot to overtime the presidential election.
I could have told them that.
Though federal officials have arrested more than 570 alleged participants, the FBI at this point believes the violence was not centrally coordinated.
A spokesman says there was no grand scheme to storm the Capitol and take hostages.
FBI investigators did find certain cells of protesters, including followers of the far-right Oath Keepers and Proud Boys, had aimed to break into the Capitol.
But they found no evidence that the groups had serious plans about what to do once they made it inside.
Wasn't that clear to everybody?
Well, the FBI has finally tumbled to the obvious.
Then the report goes on to say prosecutors have filed conspiracy charges against 40 of the defendants, alleging that they engaged in some form of planning before the attack.
Oh my gosh, there was planning.
But prosecutors have steered clear of more serious politically loaded charges That the sources said had been initially discussed by prosecutors such as seditious conspiracy or racketeering.
If it's a seditious conspiracy, you can get 15, 14, 20 years in jail.
It's a very serious charge.
As it is, more than 170 people have been charged so far with assaulting or impeding a police officer, says the Justice Department.
That's 170 people.
I wonder how many people throughout the entire BLM summer of love were charged with assaulting or impeding a police officer.
It would probably take a certain amount of digging to do that, but I think you might actually be able to find the number of people charged, and then it'd be very curious to find the number of people whose charges were inexplicably dropped.
In any case, the charge of assaulting or impeding a police officer carries a maximum sentence of 20 years.
So we will just have to speculate as to what the January 6th boys, just what sort of sentence they're going to get if they're charged and convicted of assaulting a police officer.
And I suspect some of them are certainly guilty of that, but we'll see what happens.
Furthermore, the FBI has so far found no evidence that Donald Trump or people directly around him were involved in organizing the violence.
Again, any fool could have told him that.
But our media, of course, were convinced that this was a white supremacist armed uprising led, coordinated, and stimulated by the President of the United States.
And so far as I can tell, this FBI report has been very, very small news.
Mr. Kersey, have you seen it widely reported at all?
But I can tell you that in Portland, the Wall Street Journal reports that 96 federal cases were before the U.S.
Attorney's Office stemming from last year's protests, including assaulting federal officers, civil disorder, failing to obey.
Prosecutors have dropped 47 of those.
Is that right?
That's just in one city alone.
Well, in one city alone.
Well, certainly the stark difference in the avidity with which all government authorities have been going after the people on January 6th compared to the lackadaisical approach to the BLM Love feasters.
That is really a remarkable standout, and it will go down in American history, to those who pay attention, as yet another remarkable change in our society and the beginning of what I fear we will have to start calling political prisoners.
I regret to use that term in the United States, but I feel that more and more it will be an appropriate one.
Well, wasn't there, just on the same topic real quick, a proud boy Just got sentenced to, what, five months in jail for burning a Black Lives Matter flag?
It was not just that.
He had 10 pistol magazines, and I believe pistol magazines of any kind are banned within district, and I believe his were high capacity, so they could technically get him on that, not just for burning a banner.
But we can be well assured that if people had been doing this sort of thing in what the media tells us is a righteous cause, the story would have been different.
Be that as it may, the big news going around, of course, is the absolute decline in the population of whites in the United States.
The percentage has been going down, oh gosh, certainly ever since the law in 1965 that changed the mix of our immigrants.
But there's actual decline in the number of whites because ever since 2016, I believe, The number of whites born has been exceeded by the number
of whites who have died.
And there's so little immigration in or out of whites that the absolute number of whites
is dropping.
Now, I believe, Mr. Kersey, you have some information on how Americans are reacting
to this piece of, I think, rather significant news.
I do.
This is Pew Research.
In fact, just to reiterate what you just said, between 1980 and 1990, the change in white population in the United States was plus 7.6 million people.
Flash forward to 2010 to 2020, we dropped, whites dropped by By 5.1 million in absolute numbers.
First time in the nation's history this has happened.
So how is this greeted?
Now, the title of this piece at the Pew Research Center, for those listening around the world, you can read it.
Most Americans say the declining share of white people in the U.S.
is neither good nor bad for society.
About six in ten adults say the declining proportion of Americans who identify as white ...is neither good nor bad.
About 2 in 10 say it is bad, including 9% who say it is very bad.
Slightly fewer, 15%, say it is good for society, including 7% who say it is very good.
So 22% of those who took this survey, which included 10,221 adults, 22% said it's either good or very good.
So you're talking about one-fifth of those polled believe that's a positive thing.
Now, majorities across demographic and political groups have neutral views about the changing racial makeup of the U.S.
population, but there are substantial differences in the shares who have a positive or negative opinion about the declining proportion of whites.
Differences by age are especially pronounced.
I guess you could think that because the younger population is Increasingly non-white.
So I believe it's actually majority non-white under 16 or under 18 at this point.
So among those ages 18 to 29, around 3 in 10 say the fact that white people are declining as a share of the US population is good for society, compared with 13% who say it's bad.
By contrast, Mr. Taylor, 32% of Americans ages 65 and older say this demographic shift is bad for society, compared to only 6% who say it's good.
Count me in among those who say it is not just bad, but very bad.
Viewers also differ sharply by partisanship and ideology, even as nearly identical majorities of Republicans and Democrats, 61% versus 62%, say it's neither good nor bad for society.
About a third of Republicans and GOP-leaning independents, 34%, But only 38% of conservative Republicans think that the declining white share is bad for America.
including 38% of conservative Republicans and 26% of moderate and
liberal Republicans. But only 38% of conservative Republicans think that the
declining white share is bad for America or at least only 38% are willing to say
that to a pollster. Now conversely, few Republicans, 5%, say it's good for society.
By contrast, around a quarter of Democrats and Democratic leaners, 24%, say this demographic shift is a good thing.
However, liberal Democrats are more likely than conservative and moderate Democrats, 32% to 17%.
Is there such a thing as a conservative or moderate Democrat, Mr. Kersey?
Not anymore, I don't think, but it's 32% versus 17% to say the declining share of white people is good for society.
So it's one of those situations where, hey listen, people under 30 are apparently fine with it, they're happy with it, but what we're learning, as you said, People who remember what the old America looked like, even, I mean, like I said, even into the 1980s and 1990s, even in 1990 to 2000, you saw the white population of the United States increase by 6.4 million people.
It was only when you really had the ramifications of the Immigration Act and continued illegal immigration, you know, some people say, hey, white people don't breed in captivity.
You can see this shift.
Between 2000 and 2010, the white population only grew by 2.3 million people.
So to see it drop by 5.1 million people in the next decade, I mean, what do you think?
Are we going to see it drop by 10 to 15 million between 2020 and 2030?
As I understand it, the Great Drop began halfway through the decade.
And so, during the first part of the most recent decade, the white numbers continued to grow.
So, you say in the decade, it shrank by how many million?
5.1.
In the last five years, it probably shrank by 10 million to wipe out the gains of the first part of the decade.
So, I think it's pretty clear.
The numbers do not lie.
White people are not reproducing themselves.
We are dying more rapidly than we are being born.
Now, what figures do you have by race?
What percentage of Hispanics are happy to see whites disappear?
And what percentage of blacks, etc.?
As I recall, the numbers that I saw were a little bit ambiguous on that score.
Yeah, you put me on the spot here and I'm looking because I don't actually... Let's see here.
Okay, here we go.
Two seconds.
White people are somewhat... Okay, give me a second here.
White adults say 26% are somewhat more likely than black at 21%.
Hispanic and Asian adults, 16% each to say the change is bad for society.
My apologies, the charts actually don't break things out.
All white adults...
Yeah, for all white adults, 62% say it's neither good nor bad.
26% say it's very bad, compared to 5% who say it's very good.
So there is something of a preponderance of reaction among whites to say it's bad.
Correct.
And what's really interesting is where we see some of the states where things drop the most.
What area of the country do you think saw the greatest increase in non-Hispanic whites from 2010 to 2020?
The greatest increase?
Boy.
Washington, D.C.?
Or does that even count?
Washington, D.C.
does count.
Yes, it was.
You got it.
It was Washington D.C.
which saw a 25% increase.
Utah was number 2 at 11% and Idaho 3 at 10%.
Well, I wish that it were possible to get reactions based on race.
How many blacks, how many Hispanics, how many Asians say it's a good thing for whites to disappear and how many say it's a bad thing?
But I gather that information is not there.
That information is not there only for white attitudes.
That's the only thing that breaks out.
But there is a really great chart that shows that, you know, in 1980, I mean, it's just it's astonishing to see the drop.
It was an 80 percent white country in 1980, and now we're at 58 percent in 2020.
And, you know, I think I think one of the great things that unites the ruling class and the regime media is to do everything they can to try and keep that sense of impending minority status from actually filtering into politics.
You know, we saw just the merciless attacks on Trump as being a white supremacist when, you know, in any other era, no one would even consider him a conservative.
It's just because he talked about these issues tangentially.
That's right.
Never even directly.
He never, ever said what's wrong with the United States remaining a white majority country.
The fact that he did not celebrate our eventual disappearance the way Joe Biden and people like Hillary Clinton do, he didn't say, oh, this is going to be great.
White people are going to be a minority.
The fact of not having said that made him a white supremacist.
Remarkable, isn't it?
Well, a story about the American Bar Association.
It accredits nearly every law school in the United States.
There are fewer than 250 law schools, and 199 are accredited by the ABA.
And in most states, you have to have attended an ABA-accredited school before you can take the bar exam.
Well, the ABA is considering a plan that would include mandatory ethics courses instructing students that they have an obligation to fight racism in the law.
Racism in the law.
Well, well.
First of all, let's find out what the racism is before we can fight it.
But schools would also be required to take effective actions to diversify their student bodies, even if doing so risks violating a law that, and this is according to ABA, purports to prohibit consideration of race and ethnicities.
So, laws forbidding schools to consider race in admissions are, and this is according to the ABA, not a justification for schools' non-compliance.
What do you think of that?
Where diversity requirements require people to make a point of admitting non-whites, then the fact that discrimination on the basis of race, laws forbidding discrimination are not a justification for non-compliance.
It stresses a lawyer's obligation to fight racism in the legal system, implying the legal system is racist, and requires students to learn about bias, cross-cultural competency, and racism.
Now, I would point out that this is still in the mulling stage.
But, as far as the accrediting agencies for private secondary schools are concerned, many of them already require their members to integrate social justice into every aspect of their curricula in order to receive any kind of accreditation.
The idea, of course, is that insofar as a law school curriculum assumes the law is unjust, this supplies a justification for disobeying.
Now, it will make a final decision on the plan next year.
But once again, we have an astonishing situation in which we have an accrediting agency that's supposed to represent the rule of law, law schools after all, which is saying to American law schools and all potential lawyers, the law in the United States is racist and you've got to fight the racism in the law.
And even if the law says that you must not discriminate on the basis of race, you will discriminate on the basis of race to diversify your student bodies.
The law be damned.
Quite incredible.
And I don't know, Mr. Curtis, if you followed this, but there was a quite amusing little episode at the office of the Director of National Intelligence.
As you know, every branch of the U.S.
U.S. government loves to brag about how diverse it is.
And recently it published its annual demographic report for fiscal year 2020 to assess, and
I'm quoting, hiring and retention of minorities, women and persons with disabilities in the
United States intelligence community.
That of course is a vital intelligence task.
American national security depends on the hiring and retention of minorities, women
and people with disabilities.
Now on the cover page of the report, there was a stock photo.
It wasn't even a photo taken of national intelligence personnel.
And if you go to the stock photo agency, it is a photograph of smiling, happy blacks, Asians, women, and it's called Portrait of Multicultural Office Staff Standing in Lobby.
So again, this is strictly a stock photograph.
So these were not intelligence operatives, but This was not good enough for the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, and so they upped the diversity level, and they did so with a little bit of Photoshop.
They added a blind man, complete with seeing eye dog and white cane, and also a beautiful blonde woman in a wheelchair.
These were rather sloppily added via Photoshop because the stock photo of multi-culti office staff standing in a lobby wasn't good enough.
So not only did they not show photographs of their own people, they had to add a blind man with a seeing-eye doll and a white king.
I don't believe blind people actually use both.
They usually use one or the other, but perhaps I'm wrong.
And this lovely blonde woman looks happy, happy, happy as can be in her wheelchair.
So that's what you get.
Isn't intelligence supposed to be transparent?
Well, I guess not.
A little bit of deception goes a long way.
And then, let's see, another little story.
As you know, Mr. Kersey, COVID has been crossing the border.
America's former border chief Mark Morgan, he used to be the acting Commissioner of Customs and Border Protection.
He says the Biden administration has injected 40,000 illegal immigrants infected with COVID into the American environment.
He says that number is conservative.
And to recall, that's 40,000.
He says, we know that everybody being released, they're not being tested.
We know that.
And this was at a briefing sponsored by the Heritage Foundation.
He said, still, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas is directing the release
of up to 80 percent of families who have illegally entered the United States.
They don't bother to test them.
They say, off you go.
And of course, DHS announced that it caught 213,000 illegal immigrants on the southern
Yet another 20-year high.
That's close to a quarter of a million swarming across our border.
Those are the ones they caught.
DHS doesn't test them.
All they do is send them off to the local communities, and it's our issue, it's our problem, and off we go.
And so, this number of 40,000 is a low estimate as to how many were, I said HIV, silly me, who were COVID positive.
Now, as I understand it, some 80% of the people in Central America who are coming in are not vaccinated.
So my guess is 40,000 is a vast, vast underestimate.
And just as a little matter of detail, for those who are curious, Our Canadian border continues to be closed.
We don't let in anybody from Canada, vaccinated or not.
But we're letting in a quarter of a million people from south of the border.
And whether or not they are vaccinated, whether or not they have the COVID, is not the federal government's problem.
It's your problem.
So, Mr. Kersey, I believe you have a report for us on murder statistics in the city of Indianapolis.
They've taken a close look, have they not?
And what have they found?
You know, it's interesting.
One of these cities that I believe was profiled in that fantastic Great Replacement by Gregory Hood that's available at Amarin.com, Indianapolis, is seeing a surge in violence.
And you always wonder, well, when is somebody going to actually break out the data?
Suspects.
That's what we care about.
You know, the people who are being injured because you think you could craft policies based on the suspects.
In a sane society, you would do that.
Well, the Indianapolis Star reports that quote-unquote street groups are involved in 39% of homicides in Indianapolis, the new analysis finds.
Again, that's not that important.
To me, the most important and striking point is buried way down in the article It's a profile of victims and suspects and we learned that newly released gun violence analysis examined 296 homicides occurring in Indianapolis from March 1st, 2018 to February 29th, 2020.
What they found is that 77% of victims and suspects around 77% of victims and suspects and homicides and shootings were black.
Despite black residents accounting for only 29% of the city's population.
What was that percentage again?
Despite being only 29% of the city's population, black residents account for 77%, about 77% of the suspects during that time period.
Now, nearly 85% of suspects were male.
So you can deduce from that the onus that black men have For committing the violence, collectively committing the violence in a city that's only 29% black.
So interestingly, they they omitted The great majority of the violence though Mr. Taylor and dear listener because they did it from March 1st 2018 to February 29th 2020.
We know when you look at the data for Indianapolis that the city exploded in violence around Memorial Day 2020 and it would be fascinating to see how much of that was actually responsible by blacks because Police were just terrified of being the next Derek Chauvin and they just said we're not going to arrest these people.
Our lives are too important.
Our families are too important to be burdened with such a terrible situation.
Well, Mr. Kersey, surely we can expect a full update on the suspect figures next year.
I doubt it.
This is probably a one-off.
Some fascinating tidbits, though, about who is committing this violence.
About 74% of the homicide victims and suspects were already known, homicide victims and suspects
were already known to the criminal justice system, with 64% having been previously incarcerated
and 58% previously convicted of a felony.
Well, you know, you know, despite the protestations of the idea that black lives matter, is it
perhaps the case?
I mean, you and I have spoken so frequently about the apparent lack of importance that the activists place on the fact of black people killing each other at increasingly rates all around the country.
Maybe they have this rather cynical view.
Well, it's just the dregs exterminating each other.
So who cares?
I don't know.
Those are remarkable figures.
The police already knew all about them.
They are perps of one sort or another.
What percentage of the perps and the victims had already been incarcerated?
74% of known homicide victims and suspects were already known to the criminal justice system.
And here's something for you.
About 15% of suspects We're on active community supervision at the time of the incident with around 7% on electronic GPS monitoring.
Wow.
Well, I guess GPS monitoring, they know where you are, but they don't know what you're doing and they can't stop it.
No, they can't.
But again, this is the type of story, the headline, kind of innocuous, kind of boring.
It would be much better if the headlines said, In a city that's only 29% black, 77% of the homicides are committed by blacks.
And of course, there's no indication of Hispanics in this report.
Not that I saw in the article itself.
You have to have access to, so then you could truly find out, break it down by race, what percentage is actually committed by whites.
So, great question.
We would like to know.
Inquiring minds would like to know, but inquiring minds will have to inquire further than what the newspapers see fit to tell us, which is never a surprise.
Well, let's see.
Moving on to Houston from Indianapolis.
Our listeners, the little cockles of their hearts, will be warmed to know that the Greater Houston Black Chamber of Commerce and United Airlines have joined together to put a resource link on the United Airlines app that will highlight black-owned businesses.
It will, therefore, let you know about all the small black-owned businesses in the Houston area, along with the Chamber of Commerce's fifth annual Buy Black campaign.
This means that when you buy a ticket and you're heading to Houston, this will pop up on your United Airlines app.
And Houston is the first to market a Buy Black campaign as part of United's Shop Local campaign.
And so, as I say, this will pop up and it will let you know where to go to find small black-owned Houston area businesses that you will certainly want to patronize.
Furthermore, on all flights into Houston, United will have magazines on the plane so travelers can read about local black-owned businesses, certainly ones that they want to visit, and patronize.
Just to let all of you know, if you're heading for Houston, you'll have no trouble at all spending your money where you think it will do the most good and contribute to reparations.
Moving on to Britain, something that I would consider almost even more remarkable.
The police officers in Britain have replaced patrol vehicles with rainbow-colored hate crime cars.
They also say pride on them in big, swervy letters.
And this is in the hopes of encouraging citizens to report incidents that they believe are hateful.
Rainbow-colored police cars.
What do you think of that?
I don't think Orwell or Huxley could have ever thought something as terrifyingly dystopian as that, Mr. Cook.
That's what I think.
No, you're probably right.
I don't think any Brit who has been dead for 20 years would have, well, I don't know, any Brit who's died last year would have thought of this.
In any case, Deputy Chief Constable Julie Cook.
Julie says that the new rainbow-colored hate crime cars will be regularly driven by patrol officers and they are now part of our fleet.
They say they are there to try and give confidence to our LGBT plus community, but also to other underrepresented groups.
And the cost is minimal, says she, but the impact is huge.
According to Julie, hate crime incidents reported to the police have drastically increased.
Although critics point out that this rise in hate crime allegations is bogus because a huge percentage of them stem from comments made on social media.
But that now is a potential hate crime in Britain.
And if you perform such an act, chances are one of these lovely rainbow cars might pull up in front of your door and a Bobby will show up.
I wonder if he's dressed in a rainbow colored uniform too while he's at it.
In any case, when allegations of a hate crime are reported to the police, officers are forced to record the allegations as a hate incident, even if it is later determined that a crime has not been committed.
So hate incidents have been on the rise.
And, according to Julie Cook, it's because of their rainbow-colored hate crime cars.
Furthermore, and this is terrifying, these allegations can show up on a criminal record of background checks even if no crime was ever determined to have been committed.
What do you think of that, Mr. Kersey?
Somebody can accuse you, somebody can accuse you of being a bad, bad, bad, bad guy, and it turns out you were a good, good, good, good guy, but this accusation can show up on an investigation into your background.
Well, just the accusation alone is sufficient in the eyes of In the eyes of the ruling elite to show that you obviously harbor something aligning with the notion of hate.
That's right.
That's right.
Where there are words, there's hate.
Where there's smoke, there's fire.
Exactly.
But this article from Britain quotes a certain Harry Miller, a former police officer.
He says, They are painting rainbows on their cars when we have figures showing that only 7% of violent crime ends in a prosecution.
They've moved from policing crime to policing thoughts and speech because it's easier.
So, I think that pretty much sums it up.
Only 7% of violent crime ends in a prosecution.
I suspect the figures are about the same in the United States.
But at least we don't have rainbow-colored cars fleeing, swarming through Fairfax County yet.
And I think it may be a while before that comes to Northern Virginia, at least where I live.
Now, whether or not Chicago or New York City, what do you think?
What are the chances of rainbow-colored hate crime patrol cars showing up in the United States?
Well, there's rainbow-colored crosswalks in Atlanta, Georgia, so anything's possible.
You know, it's funny, there's a fantastic sci-fi film, it's a Philip K. Dick.
A short story called Minority Report, and basically it's this idea that there's a precog unit that can figure out when an individual is going to commit a crime, so this unit shows up right before the crime takes place, they arrest them, put them into a suspended animation.
You know, with what we know with critical race theory, the anti-white zeitgeist basically, you know, sweeping all across public and private life, why not just, instead of having these rainbow-colored cars, let's just go ahead and, you know, let's just Put under house arrest all white people, since we live in a society where whites are the only ones incapable of committing hate thoughts.
I think you've got the master plan.
Put all whites into suspended animation.
That'll solve the problem.
Well, in the meantime, while we're still in Britain, Cambridge University's Archaeology Museum is going to add signs to explain the whiteness of plaster casts that are part of the Classics facility.
Plaster casts of Greek and Roman sculptures.
They are made out of plaster, so in fact they're going to be white, but they're going to add signs to explain why they're white.
These are on display in Cambridge University's Museum of Classical Archaeology, and they're also placed strategically around lecture rooms, but they give a misleading impression of the whiteness and absence of diversity of the ancient world.
And the Classics faculty has said that it will, quote, turn a problem into an opportunity by drawing attention to the diversity of those figured in the casts, To the ways in which color has been lost and can be restored and to the, quote, role of classical sculpture in the history of racism.
Well, an academic pointed out that since we're talking about classical archaeology of the museum's 600 plaster casts, they are overwhelmingly Roman and Greek.
So they're not going to find many Eskimos or Pygmies or Meles or Negritos in the classics department.
And as I said before, all plaster casts are white.
Just how they're going to highlight the diversity remains unexplained to me.
Now, there is also part of an action plan to combat racism of all kinds.
And in addition, in addition, now this I find very exciting, in addition to explaining the whiteness of the plaster casts, the Classics Department has also decided to add trigger warnings, not only to lectures, but also reading materials.
Now, what would be the sort of offensive thing that would require a trigger warning in the classics?
I can imagine something like this.
Warning to those reading the Iliad.
There is not a single black, East Asian, or LGBTQ character in the whole book.
Be warned.
Beware.
Close your eyes.
Don't read this.
Because, after all, students report that difficult material is not always taught with sufficient sensitivity.
You think that would do the trick?
Yeah, just say, you know what, sorry, you know, Homer said that Achilles has blonde hair.
That's right, that's right.
No, that can't be.
This is going to be a shock.
Look out, folks!
Achilles had blonde hair.
Uh-oh.
Uh-oh.
Yes.
Because some people, when they get to that point, they're going to just go into some sort of catatonic state of shock and being able to continue reading.
But for the start of the new academic year, all existing courses will be reviewed to ensure that there's sufficient diversity on the reading lists and in the bibliographies.
And the action plan notes that engagement with the problematic past and present of classics has been insufficient In particular to its relationship to imperialism, colonialism, and entrenched racism.
Well, are they talking about the colonies that the Romans founded?
Or the Greek colonies like Byzantium?
What's all this got to do with imperialism, colonialism, and entrenched racism?
Well, as we have discovered, when those who are determined to find racism, boy, they can find it anywhere, can't they?
Oh, they can find it anywhere, everywhere.
Upside, no.
Again, we're talking about a country that in 2021, I went to a used bookstore and they've got in this glass case, rare books, Mr. Taylor.
And one of the rare books that was going for $400 was one of the Dr. Seuss books that the Dr. Seuss Foundation decided to ban.
And, you know, obviously they're never going to print it again.
So the supply is dwindling and the demand, I guess, is still there for some of these books that dare depict BIPOCs in a unconventional, according to 2021 standard, light.
Wow.
A real opportunity for speculation and making a killing.
Moving on to Spain.
This was news to me.
But Dominican gangs have become Spain's primary urban security threat.
Fancy that?
Now, the Dominican gang known as Dominicans Don't Play, DDP, I guess it's got an English name, DDP.
This has been involved in rising violence, particularly between gunfights between the DDP and the country's other Dominican street gang known as the Trinitarios.
You know what Trinitario means?
That means Trinitarian.
They believe in the Father and the Son and the Holy Ghost.
Good for them.
Yes, I guess the Dominicans don't play.
They don't play around at being Trinitarians.
So in any case, the Trinitarians, I suppose they make the sign of the cross before they blaze away.
In any case, there's growing conflict because there's been a breakdown of a non-aggression pact between the DDP and And the Trinitarios, and Spain's other two Hispanic gangs, the Latin Kings and the Nietas.
Now, I tried to figure out what Nieta means, but apparently that's not a normal Spanish word, so I came up dry.
I was hoping to have something almost as exciting as Trinitarian, but I failed.
In any case, that's Spain for you.
Dominican gangs, they are the primary urban security threat.
Whereas, of course, we in the United States think that white supremacists, people like, for heaven's sake, perhaps even people like you and me, Mr. Kersey, we are the greatest security threat.
But moving on to the mistreatment of blacks.
Black Americans' self-reports of being treated unfairly in a variety of situations are generally steady or higher rather than declining.
That's a very bad sign.
We want blacks to say, oh, we are beloved wherever we go.
But there's a new high of 35% who say they personally were treated unfairly while shopping during the past 30 days.
Shopping while black.
Shopping while black.
That's up from 24% last year.
So this is a very, very worrying thing.
In five other situations, reports of being treated unfair are similar to a year ago, and they range from 17% to 21%.
And these other situations are at work, in a restaurant bar or theater, dealing with the police, or getting medical treatment.
It's surprising to me that dealing with the police, you're less likely to be mistreated than when you're going shopping.
Now that may have to do with the fact that people go shopping more than they interact with the police.
Be that as it may, the majority of black Americans, 54%, say they have been treated unfairly in at least one of the five situations in the past 30 days.
Now, this question of the percentage of blacks reporting mistreatment in stores, as I say, it is up from 24% to 35%.
I guess, after all the George Floyd back-to-school shopping that was free, Black people are annoyed when someone asks them to pay.
That's my guess as to why this number who consider themselves mistreated is up from 24% to 35%.
In the meantime, what about Hispanics?
34% of Hispanics say they've been treated unfairly in the last one of the five situations, in at least one of the five situations in the past 30 days.
That's 34% as opposed to 54%.
In 2013, 32% of Hispanics are treated unfairly, so it's gone up from 32% to 34% for them, too.
Oh boy, oh boy.
Ever since Gallup began tracking these numbers in 1997, the figures have held steady or they have gone up.
What's a boy to do, Mr. Kersey?
Now, the implication always is that the person mistreating these Hispanics and these blacks is a white person.
But what about Hispanics, Blacks, Asians?
My guess is that when Blacks think they've been mistreated, I would guess a disproportionate number are Hispanics, for example, and vice versa.
But who knows?
And are Whites ever mistreated?
Do you think that ever happens?
Or it's not worth asking to them, I should think.
Because they, of course, are the source of all sorts of difficulties for our non-White brethren.
And especially when it comes to obesity.
I believe you've tracked down an intriguing bit of research as to what it is that makes black people fat.
I thought this was a joke, but it is actually a paper.
It's Exposure to Anti-Black Lives Matter Movement and Obesity of the Black Population.
Yoon Joon Park, Sarah Cherry Francisco, M. Rosemary Pang, Lulu Ping, and Guanxing Qi are the authors of this piece.
Lulu Ping.
Boy, I bet she knows a lot about it.
Well, the abstract is Black Lives Matter's social movement against systemic injustice and police violence toward black people whose goal is to ensure their safety and the expression of their culture.
As BLM gained momentum, counter-movements emerged such as All Lives Matter, White Lives Matter, and Blue Lives Matter.
Because they undermine support for black people's safety and culture, exposure to stances against BLM can be a race-related stressor.
Although the perception of racial discrimination has been associated with negative health outcomes in black people, it is not clear whether exposure to negative stances on race-related social issues is associated with worse health outcomes.
So the objectives of this, the objective of this study was they investigated whether living in areas of the United States with a high prevalence of negative status on BLM is associated with worse health outcomes such as higher body mass index and prevalence of obesity.
I'm going to skip the methods because this is so brutally offensive to anyone with a sense of propriety and understanding the obesity rates.
You know, in blacks and Hispanics are far higher than in Asians and whites, and this predates the Black Lives Matter movement.
But regardless, results after controlling for individual and regional level covariates, regional measures of racism and police brutality rate and baseline BMI in 2014, aggregated on MSA level, So let me get this straight.
statistical area, stances against BLM were positively associated with implicit racism
against black people and can be an acute race-related stressor associated with negative downstream
health outcomes.
Thus, black people had higher BMI and prevalence obesity in areas that showed higher negative
stances on black lives matter.
So let me get this straight.
If you were to say all lives matter or white lives matter, then black people will reach
for a Coke and a bag of Cheetos.
They will get thee, not to a nunnery in Penelope, they will get thee to a McDonald's where it's 365 black every day.
And the conclusion?
The conclusion is negative societal sentiments around race-related issues may be detrimental to the health outcomes of minority populations.
Well, here's my question to you, Mr. Taylor.
What about negative social sentiments around race-related issues constantly targeted toward white people?
How is that going to be to the health outcomes of the majority population?
That is not a legitimate subject of investigation.
Shut your mouth.
As we know from the white death and the drug overdose problems.
That's right.
In case any of our listeners are unaware of this, when this startling increase in white death, white people dying of drug overdoses, suicide, alcohol-related disabilities, and suddenly white people's life expectancy was dropping.
This was considered such a trivial, such an insignificant, and a matter of no importance whatsoever, that the people who first discovered this found no place to publish their findings.
No one was interested.
There you go.
And so, yes, constantly telling white people they're racist, constantly telling them they have privilege, constantly telling them that they poison the air just by breathing.
No one, no one could get any funding to find out whether or not that might make White people, a little bit sicker, a little bit fatter.
Who knows?
Who cares is the point.
Nobody wants to know.
Yes.
Nobody wants to know.
But let's see.
Moving on to Minnesota.
Minnesota.
That's, boy, that is the land of woke, woke, woke.
Just 24 hour a day wokeness.
160 Minnesota principals and assistant principals have signed a pledge to de-center whiteness.
Boy, they've got all the modern lingo down pat, haven't they?
They aren't, well they are, as what they call themselves, a loose collection of principles bound together by a commitment to change our nation's future by engaging in better, more equitable education practices.
They vow to dismantle the practices that reinforce white economic superiority, including standardized testing and what they call an Americanized version of the caste system.
Their group's goal include increasing varieties of student and school evaluations that go beyond testing.
And they also wrote, and I found this curious, that parent teacher associations, PTAs, and teachers unions are guilty of promoting this American caste system.
I'd like to know how they do that, but they say traditional organized whiteness ensures domination through forms like PTAs and unions.
And they purposefully call out and lift up historically non-represented voices.
But how would a PTA promote white supremacy?
I mean, PTAs are usually volunteer organizations.
And I suppose the fact that they're full of white people, white people volunteer, that promotes white supremacy.
And they go on to say that these bodies, PTAs and unions, have preserved segregated schools.
In Minnesota?
In Minnesota, Mr. Kersey?
Segregated schools?
Maybe you go back a hundred years.
I don't know.
They go on to say, Minnesota has been leading the country in educational outcome disparities.
Oh boy.
And so we are principals who are willing to put it all on the line and have.
Wow.
Not only are they willing to put it on the line, they have.
Wow.
We're just supposed to thrill at their virtuous, at their virtue and their righteous indignation.
But what I'd like to know is, what are the white supremacist policies and practices that make Asians score higher than whites?
That is the case in Minnesota, but these principals don't seem to be aware of that, much less be concerned about it and won't do anything about it.
But, Mr. Kersey, it sounds as though these principals would be right at home in the Bank of America.
You know, we've covered Raytheon, we've covered Lockheed Martin, we've covered Coca-Cola, we've covered a variety of companies where critical race theory is now Inserted directly into the standard operating procedures of these companies and the dictates that Of course are the primary concern making money.
Nope.
Nope.
Nope promoting wokeness That's all that matters.
And so we learned from City Journal that the Financial Bank of America teaches that the United States is a system of white supremacy and encourages employees to become a Quote, woke at work, end quote.
That's the term they use?
Be woke at work?
It is the term that they use.
I guess I can't take a nap at my desk ever again.
Yeah, Bank of America Corporation has implemented a racial re-education program in claiming the United States is a system of white supremacy, and like I said, encourages employees to be woke at work, instructing white employees in particular to, quote, decolonize their minds and cede power to people of color.
They don't go so far to say, cede your bank account.
And dividends and equity in your home to people of color.
But that's just the next step on the page as yet to be written and disseminated to the Bank of America Corporation employees.
So earlier this year, Bank of America, North Carolina and Charlotte Market President Charles Bowman, he announced a new equity initiative called United in Action.
It's in partnership with the United Way of Central Carolinas.
According to documents that Christopher Ruffalo, is that his last name?
The guy who writes about this subject?
Chris Ruffalo.
Chris Ruffalo.
Yeah.
Does great work.
And in this case, according to documents Ruffalo obtained from a whistleblower, Bank of America executives launched the initiative by encouraging employees to participate in the Racial Equity 21 Day Challenge.
You know, normally, Mr. Taylor, you know, you're in tremendous shape.
Normally, when you have a 21-day challenge, that's when you're going to try and go on a crash course diet, maybe lifting, change the nutrition you have.
But in this day and age, a racial equity 21-day challenge is when you can ingest and absorb as much anti-whiteness as possible so that you can engorge yourself on just this feast prepared for you. I'll go over what it is here if you'd
like me to.
Well, I wonder if they'll be distributing wokeness pills that white employees can pop.
Whiteness pills that explode in your mouth.
Yeah, exactly.
Well, it's a race training program funded in part by the bank and built on the principles of critical race theory.
I guess even Bank of America's executives, just like our Joint Chief of Staff, wants to understand white rage.
They're learning about intersectionality, white privilege, white fragility, and, of course, our favorite, systemic racism.
On the program's first day, and then Chris breaks it down, how it works out.
I mean, on the first day, DOA teaches employees that the United States is a racialized society that, quote, uses race to establish and justify systems of power, privilege, disenfranchisement, and oppression, which, quote, give privileges to white people resulting in disadvantages to people of color.
Well, you know, that just sounds like the standard curriculum.
I mean, they all say the same thing, don't they?
You'd think they'd do something original for a change, something interesting and different.
Yeah, even children are implicated in the system of white supremacy, Mr. Taylor, and dear listener, according to program materials, white toddlers develop racial biases by ages three to five.
How do you think a five-year-old is supposed to reject the smog of white privilege?
This is a new one.
This is a new one.
I take it all back.
Having a five-year-old reject the smog of white privilege.
I think they really have discovered new worlds to conquer.
Not only that, you learn about the next three days, BOA teaches employees about unconscious bias, microaggressions, and they continue to hammer systemic racism.
Here we go, here's one of the quotes.
Racism in America idealizes white physical features and white values as supreme over those of others.
As a result of being part of the dominant culture, whites are more likely to have more limited imagination, experience fear, anxiety, guilt, or shame, contribute to racial tension, hatred, and violence in our homes, communities, and world, and subsequently react in broken ways as a result.
People of color, on the other hand, cannot be racist because racism is used to justify the position of the dominant group and to uphold white supremacy and superiority.
Therefore, the Discussion Guide claims Reverse racism and discrimination are not possible.
Not possible.
You know, I think I'd reach for a Coke and a bag of Cheetos if I were going through that.
I think I'd say, you know what, I'm not sure VEAS has gone this far yet.
We know American Express has, but I will say this in closing.
Any listener out there who has checked out the Disney Plus series Falcon and Winter Soldier, which is the continuation of the Marvel Cinematic Universe Captain America story, I just found out how unbelievably anti-white and critical race theory inspired that show is, because Mr. Taylor in the movie No!
the white Captain America, Steve Rogers, decides to give up his shield to a black man, and
the black guy doesn't want to do it in the show, so they find another blonde-haired,
blue-eyed white guy to be Captain America.
No!
No!
Yeah, so over the course of time, over the course of the series, six episodes, it's streaming
on Disney+.
It's just all about how entrenched racism is and how America will never, ever, ever, ever, ever see a black man being Captain America.
And just so you know, the moral and punchline of the story is Disney has greenlit Captain America 4, where it will be the black Captain America.
Well, you know, New Zealand's got the same problem.
Racism never dies.
Here's an article.
It's about dating.
And it starts like this.
Meet Jared.
That's an alias, no relation.
He says since moving to New Zealand in his early 20s, he's not had much success on the dating scene.
And he thinks he knows why.
He is Fijian Indian.
Jared explains on dating apps, a lot of girls write, no black guys, no Asians, no Indians.
They just don't want to know you when you approach them at bars and clubs, he says.
And these experiences have dented his confidence and caused him mental and emotional trauma.
He says many of his friends, fellow migrants from Vietnam, China and Fiji have faced similar struggles.
One has to be in our shoes to realize what we're going through, he said.
And research into sexual racism, discrimination in sexual or romantic contexts shows these men aren't alone.
Asian men are among the worst affected.
Yui Quinn, a sociologist at the University of British Columbia, said this comes down to racial stereotypes of Asian men gleaned from unfavorable depictions in the media.
How many unfavorable depictions in the media do you find of Asian men, Mr. Kersey?
Well, these people managed to find them, apparently.
And historical portrayals of Asians as inferior to Westerners.
I guess they got their noses buried in history books.
In the U.S., black people are found to be ten times more likely to message whites than the other way around.
Oh, horrors, horrors.
So, it's just as bad all around the world.
But, University of Auckland's social life professor, Dr. David Tokiharu Maeda, he says the personal preference argument is just another way to uphold racial stereotypes.
When people are racialized, when they're experiencing these different forms of racism, it really affects their personal identity.
It affects their sense of self-worth, he explains.
Of course, being told we are inherent oppressors who have white privilege and to blame for everything, that never fazes white people at all.
I guess we thrill, we just, we thrive on humiliation.
But dating apps, before the murder of George Floyd, we're told, and the subsequent BLM protests, most of them had ethnicity filters.
Since then, some got rid of them, but many have kept them, despite intense pushback.
Of course, there are exclusive sites for blacks, Asians, Hispanics, Jews, but never for whites.
And at the same time, in New Zealand, guess what?
White men like to date Asian women, but that's no good either.
That's fetishization.
Dr. Maeda, who we spoke about earlier, he says yellow fever is a bad thing.
Even though it may superficially make them more desirable to men, Fetishization devalues Asian women.
That's something that's really going to objectify them.
It dehumanizes them.
It very much erodes their sense of self-worth.
So, you see, both sexes are suffering.
Both sexes begin to doubt their self-worth.
Men because white women don't want to date them, and Asian women because white men do want to date them.
Boy, white people really are hopeless, aren't they?
Mr. Kersey, I bet you can imagine the solution.
The solution is go back to where the Asians are.
Alas, Mr. Kersey, we've come to the end of the road.
The hour has fled by at a great rate of speed, and we had so many stories we wanted to get to.
We'll save them for next time, because some of them were so good.
But in the meantime, I am Jared Taylor, and on behalf of my indispensable co-host, Paul Kersey, I thank you for your attention.
