Hello. I'm Jared Taylor with American Renaissance.
In 2016, the federal government spent about $3.9 trillion.
Nearly a fifth of that, $720 billion, went on what are called means-tested programs.
That's a fancy name for welfare.
Besides the $700 billion the Feds spent, state and local governments spent another $500 billion.
So that's well over $1 trillion every year for welfare.
Well, who gets the benefits?
A non-profit called the Center for Immigration Studies has a detailed report called Welfare Use by Immigrant and Native Households.
It uses the most complete Census Bureau information, and the results have been verified by an independent data analysis company.
That means this is the real stuff.
Too real, in fact, for your newspaper or for the television networks.
Now, the report covers only federal benefits for the year 2012, but results for state benefits would probably be very similar.
First, let's take a look at non-immigrant households divided up by race.
Look at the rightmost column.
30.2% of all native households are cashing in on at least one means-tested program.
That means nearly a third are on at least one form of aid: food, cash, housing, Medicaid, etc.
But look over at the left.
More than half of black and Hispanic households are getting handouts.
That's more than twice the rate for whites.
Asian households are slightly less likely than whites to get benefits.
Households with children are especially likely to use welfare.
Once more...
If you start to the right, more than half of all households with children get benefits.
And look over on the left.
82% of black and 76% of Hispanic households are on welfare of some kind.
These are staggering figures.
For black and Hispanic families, welfare is the norm.
People often say that even though whites use welfare at relatively low rates, Most welfare recipients are white because we are still more than 60% of the population.
Well, according to this report, 40 million households in the U.S. get welfare, but only 49% of them are white.
That's less than half.
What about immigrants?
We always hear how immigrants pep up the economy and rejuvenate our cities with their vibrant cultures.
Have you ever noticed that white people never have vibrant cultures, but that non-white immigrants always do?
These hard-working, vibrant people, they would never come here and go on welfare, would they?
According to the rules, you're not supposed to be on the dole unless you're here legally and you've been here at least five years.
But some of the people who ladle out the benefits don't worry too much about details like that.
Let's look at food aid.
Here are the percentages of different groups who get it.
Starting at the left, About 45% of US-born black and Hispanic households get food handouts, but only 15% of whites and 14% of Asians.
But almost 60% of immigrant Hispanic and 40% of immigrant black households get food handouts.
And are they all here legally and have they been here for more than five years?
We know that's not the case, but Uncle Sam is generous.
And when you look at households with children, Once again, for Blacks and Hispanics, U.S. born or immigrant, food aid is a way of life.
Look at these numbers.
85.8% of Hispanic immigrant families with children get food handouts.
Your taxes help feed hungry immigrants.
But food aid is relatively limited.
You can eat only so many bags of Cheetos.
Medical expenses can run into the millions for a single person.
And look at this.
The people most likely to use Medicaid, that's free or subsidized treatment paid for by Uncle Sam, are Hispanic immigrants, nearly 60% of them.
Hispanics, especially the ones here illegally, are notorious for not having medical insurance.
And why should they bother?
If they get sick, they just go to the emergency room and you pay for it.
That is one benefit the law says you can get even if you're an illegal.
You just have to be here.
And look at the numbers for Native Blacks and Hispanics over on the left.
More than 40%.
And remember, this is all households.
The numbers are even higher for households with children.
Some prenatal care programs are supposed to be only for legal immigrants.
But there's a way around that.
You enrolled the unborn fetus in the program, not the legal immigrant mother.
Clever, huh?
For some reason, the Feds are a little bit tighter on requirements when it comes to free or subsidized housing.
And it's a little bit harder for illegals to get that.
But some states don't care whether you're here legally or not.
And if your family is mostly illegal, but you have an anchor baby child, then you just apply in the name of the baby.
So, here are the percentages of people on housing assistance, starting at the left.
As you can see, native blacks are right at the top, about six times more likely than native whites.
But immigrant blacks and Hispanics over at the right are still more likely than whites to be living at taxpayer expense.
Now, you always hear that illegals have to get amnesty so they can, quote,"come out of the shadows." Well, if they come out of the shadows, where are they going to go?
Right into public housing.
Here are the figures for cash handouts.
U.S.-born Blacks and Hispanics are at the top, but Hispanic immigrants are collecting checks at twice the rate of native whites.
As we saw earlier, welfare is a way of life for most non-whites.
82% of U.S.-born Black families and 74% of U.S.-born Hispanic families are on handouts of some kind.
And who pays the vast majority of the taxes?
White people.
We are carrying these folks around on our backs.
And if that weren't bad enough, foreigners waltz into the country and climb onto our backs, too.
Our immigration laws are supposed to keep out anyone who is likely to become a"public charge." Well, you can see just how well those laws are working.
Most people have no idea that 60% of Hispanic immigrant households are on Medicaid and 60% get food handouts.
The Trump administration wants to tighten up on eligibility.
That's good.
Deporting all illegals would be good, too, especially if they took their anchor babies with them, because anchor babies are the backdoor to every kind of welfare.
But the whole immigration system is a mess.
No sane country lets in millions of foreigners who then put their snouts in the public trough.
The overwhelming majority are non-white, of course, and that is one reason we're not supposed to notice.
When the facts make Blacks and Hispanics look bad, you don't talk about the facts.
