Taking Orders from the Enemy

Time Text
Hello, I'm Jared Taylor with American Renaissance.
Why take orders from the enemy?
Why do Republicans and so-called conservatives fire loyal, competent people after some lefty snoop claims that they were racists or were just in the same room with racists?
When will what passes for the right in this country learn that this never wins the left's approval and only whets its appetite for more blood?
The answer is simple.
Even the most allegedly conservative so-called conservatives either refuse to understand race or are so terrified about it that they'd rather betray their friends than admit the truth.
Take Darren Beattie.
He was a White House speechwriter and policy aide who gave a speech in 2016 at something called the H.L. Mencken Club.
This is a group best described as paleoconservative.
Its president is Paul Gottfried, a former tenured professor of humanities and author of a whole shelf of academic books.
Dr. Beattie, who formerly taught at Duke University, gave a speech called The Intelligentsia and the Right.
It had nothing to do with race or immigration.
Or sex differences.
Or same-sex marriage.
Or the heritability of IQ.
Or Islam.
Or any of the ever-expanding list of subjects on which there is either the one true way or heresy.
But as CNN reported triumphantly, he was a speechwriter who attended a conference with white nationalists.
People like John Derbyshire, Peter Brimelow, Bob Weisberg, and maybe even the unspeakable Jared Taylor.
Just breathing the same air as these people must have poisoned the unsuspecting Dr. Beattie, making him unfit for respectable employment, at least in the minds of CNN and people silly enough to care what CNN thinks.
The White House immediately fired Dr. Beattie.
This is about as hair-raising an example of guilt by remote association as I've ever heard of.
In a statement, Dr. Beattie defended his speech saying, I stand by my remarks completely.
And then, loyal to the end, he said this, It was the honor of my life to serve in the Trump administration.
I love President Trump, who is a fearless American hero and continue to support him 100%.
Now, contrast this to the despicable behavior of Omarosa Manigault Newman, best known simply as Omarosa.
Despite a career mainly as a reality show contestant, including many appearances on Donald Trump's The Apprentice, as soon as Mr. Trump got the Republican nomination, he appointed her Director of African American Outreach.
She famously said, every critic, every detractor will have to bow down to President Trump.
Omarosa had always been a Democrat, of course, but she claimed she was now a She joined Donald Trump's transition team and worked on his staff in the White House until Chief of Staff John Kelly fired her early this year.
Since then, she has suddenly decided that Donald Trump is a racist.
She's known Mr. Trump since at least 2004, when she was first on The Apprentice, and she worked for him directly since his nomination in July 2016.
But now, she says, and I quote, It is very clear Donald Trump is a racist, and he's trying to undermine our democracy.
She also says he's trying to start a race war.
She was secretly recording conversations with Trump and his staff as far back as during the campaign.
Was she always planning on betraying him?
As it turns out, not even Democrats can stand her.
Omarosa worked in Vice President Al Gore's office, but his administrator, Mary Overby, said she was"the worst hire we ever made." Omarosa was palmed off onto the Commerce Department, which then dumped her.
Omarosa, by the way, is the author of a book called The Bitch Switch, knowing how to turn it on and off.
Well, does she ever turn it off?
So, on the one hand, the White House makes chum out of a loyal supporter who continues to defend the president even after he's fired.
And the administration gains nothing.
CNN isn't going to start being nice to the president.
The firing will only make it more eager to hunt for yet more racists.
Hiring Omarosa was obviously a sop to the left, but a high-profile black woman in the White House to fend off charges of racism.
And what is Donald Trump's reward?
Unhinged accusations from someone who appears to have been an enemy right from the start.
So you do the left's bidding, fire a loyal employee, and you look like a coward and lose a talented man.
Do the left's bidding, hire a high-profile black, and she turns on you.
The Republican Party and the conservative movement eat dirt and excommunicate their best people if lefties tell them to.
Peter Brimelow, John Derbyshire, Joe Silber, Sam Francis, Scott McConnell, Robert Weisberg, Scott Greer, and besides these, they have fired literally scores of unsung people because somebody raised a racial stink about them.
National Review, which still laughably pretends to be the voice of the conservative movement, long ago dropped Ann Coulter.
She's one of the most popular commentators in the entire country.
The left will always screech when someone strays from its rules, which get more childish and absurd every day.
This means Republicans and so-called conservatives are going to keep losing talent and their own dignity until they do just one of two things.
Either admit we're right, grow a spine, and take a real stand for change, or at least stop licking the boots of people who despise them.
When is a so-called conservative ever going to say, I don't care what he said we had lunch with five years ago.
He does great work.
Now get lost.
Would that be so hard?
Would the sky fall?
Republicans are eunuchs.
And all eunuchs have something in common.
They have no future.
