Time Text
Hello, I'm Jared Taylor with American Renaissance.
When Democrats fight for the nomination for president, you know what we get?
An orgy of universal health care and student debt forgiveness and gun control, boundless investments in uplift scams, vows to empty the prisons and save abortion, and, of course, solemn vows to fight that age-old but always young and dangerous enemy racism.
Woe betide any candidate who slips up on race.
And it turns out that Joe Biden, who leads in the polls, made himself a target.
At a fundraiser, he said that when he went to the Senate in 1973, there was much more civility than there is today, and that he got along with segregationists like James Eastland, here he is on the left, and Herman Talmadge on the right.
He said they never called him boy, but they called him son.
Joy swept through the Democratic field.
Senator Cory Booker, who also wants to be president and who is perhaps half-black, shot back with this.
I'm disappointed that he hasn't issued an immediate apology for the pain his words are dredging up for many Americans.
Senator Kamala Harris, who also wants to be president and who is also allegedly black, piled on.
We cannot be ignorant of the history of race in this country.
I would not be a member of the United States Senate if those men that he praised had their way.
Praised? Don't you dare say that a segregationist was civil.
There cannot be one molecule of good in a segregationist.
New York Mayor Bill de Blasio, who also wants to be president and who has a secret weapon: a black family.
Says that if Mr. Biden doesn't apologize, he's not qualified to run.
As the mayor put it, I don't think it's disqualifying if he stands up and says, look, I made a mistake.
I now understand the pain I caused.
I want to do better.
Well, so far, no apology.
Senator Elizabeth Warren, who also wants to be president, said this about Uncle Joe.
I'm not here to criticize other Democrats, but it's never okay.
You see, if they're racists, you can criticize Democrats.
Bernie Sanders, another white man who wants to be president, at first said the media were making the Biden comments, quote, a bigger deal than it is.
But a few days later, he could smell blood.
You cannot be extolling people who were really part of a disgusting system, he said.
I think Joe owes the country an apology.
Well, the former Vice President of the United States was finally hounded into explaining himself to Al Sharpton.
You have sunk low when you have to kiss the Reverend Al's toe.
But Uncle Joe is playing the race card himself.
Quite a trick for a white man who will be 81 if he makes it to the end of his first term.
During the 2012 campaign, he explained...
To a black audience.
What Republican Mitt Romney would do as president.
They're going to put you all back in chains.
He also thinks it will be wonderful when whites become a minority.
An unrelenting stream of immigration.
Non-stop.
Non-stop.
Folks like me who are Caucasian of European descent for the first time in 2017 will be in an absolute minority.
In the United States of America, absolute minority, fewer than 50% of the people in America from then and on will be white European stock.
That's not a bad thing.
That's a source of our strength.
And he said that it was Charlottesville that made him decide to run for president and save the country from racism and Donald Trump.
He released a three-minute campaign video this morning calling out the 2017 white nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, and President Trump's response that there were, quote, very fine people on both sides.
And a senior campaign says that for Biden, what happened in Charlottesville, quote, shook him to the core.
And it is the moment that he decided he had to run.
I believe history will look back on four years of this president and all he embraces.
As an aberrant moment in time.
But if we give Donald Trump eight years in the White House, he will forever and fundamentally alter the character of this nation.
We'll see how long he stays on top.
One thing that could bring him low, he's not on the reparations bandwagon.
Not yet.
He even once said this, I'll be damned if I feel responsible to pay for what happened 300 years ago.
Well, Kamala Harris, Cory Booker, Beto O'Rourke, Julian Castro, Elizabeth Warren, and who knows how many minor candidates either want reparations outright or want a commission to study them.
Here's an indignant Cory Booker explaining why blacks must get reparations.
I say that I am brokenhearted and angry right now.
Decades of living in a community where you see how deeply unfair this nation is still to so many people.
Senator Warren goes Cory Booker one better.
She wants reparations for same-sex couples, too.
She says they couldn't file joint tax returns and were cheated out of millions.
She has introduced the Refund Equity Act to right this wrong.
Senator Warren wants to look into reparations for Indians, too, because of our"ugly history of racism," as she puts it, speaking as a Cherokee.
Or maybe she will offer reparations to women because they didn't get the federal vote until 1920.
But back to race.
Beto O'Rourke may be the worst lickspittle of all.
His real name is Robert Francis O'Rourke, but his father gave him the nickname Beto because he thought that would make him sound Hispanic if he ever ran for office.
Well, this is Texas, you see.
But the Mexicans refuse to go loco for Beto.
They think he's a gringo fraud.
But at least he doesn't pretend that he's not just another white man, and he realizes a lot of voters won't like that.
The day he announced his candidacy, he said, that's part of the problem.
I'm a white man.
He said that he would totally understand anyone who votes against him because he's the wrong race and the wrong sex.
Well, his nickname ought to be Beta, not Beto.
And when it comes to immigration, Bernie Sanders is typical.
Just last week, he reaffirmed that illegal immigrants should get universal health care.
Any sick Haitian or Guatemalan who staggers across the border could get dialysis or proton therapy.
Healthcare is a human right, says Bernie.
Free hospitals for illegals?
If you build it, they will come.
Bernie believes in white privilege, too.
When you're white, you don't know what it's like to be living in a ghetto.
You don't know what it's like to be poor.
White people.
Don't know what it's like to be poor.
And now it's all the rage to say that it shouldn't be a crime to hop the border.
Julian Castro was the first major candidate to say that, and Elizabeth Warren, who never saw a giveaway she didn't like, jumped on board just this week.
They say border hopping should be a civil matter.
We can count on those wonderful people to show up for their court dates with an immigration judge.
So along with abolishing ICE, which catches and deports criminal aliens, this would mean open borders.
America up for grabs!
Well, ten of the Democratic candidates will debate tonight, and ten more tomorrow night.
It'll be a bidding war.
Who can spend the most money?
Who can be the quickest to turn the United States into Honduras?
And who can shout the loudest about white supremacy?
Well, I won't watch.
