Jean-Yves Le Gallou: "How Can Europe Stop the Great Replacement?" (2019)
| Copy link to current segment

Time Text
It is my honor to have known our next speaker, Mr. Le Gallou, for more than 20 years.
I first met him in 1998 when I went to France for a great celebration of the French National Front at the time when its leader, Jean-Marie Le Pen, was still at the helm.
And Mr. Le Gallou is one of the founders of GRESS, which was a think tank established in Paris that's had a very profound influence.
On political thinking, not only in France, but all around Europe.
Mr. Le Gallou has been an elected representative at the local level in France and also a member of the European Parliament from 1986 to 2004.
And in 2002, he established something called the Polemia Foundation, which has a very active website and also organizes meetings of what they call the Dissident Forum.
I think we could call this group the Dissident Forum if we wanted to.
One of the mottos of the Dissident Forum is decode, disobey, act.
And so I think you'll find that Mr. LeGaloux is entirely at home in a group like ours.
Mr. Le Gallou has also been a very strong influence on the identitarian movement in France and Europe.
So please welcome our distinguished visitor from France, Jean-Yves Le Gallou.
First, I want to thank Jared Taylor and everyone else who made this conference possible.
and for inviting me along.
Sorry, but it will be hard for you to listen to me because it is my first speech in English.
Thank you.
The population of Europe goes back 5,000 years ago.
And the population remained largely unchanged until the middle of the 20th century.
5,000 years ago, this is when the original European people spread out.
By leaving the Pontic steppe to travel towards the east and Siberia, towards the south, Persia and India, and especially towards the West.
The men and women of the Corded War culture gradually came to occupy Western Europe.
uninhabited land with the exception of a small number of Neolithic inter-Ghazars with which the conquering Indo-Europeans mixed.
This is the ethnic foundation of the European people.
This is also the origin of their civilization, all their languages.
Slavic, Germanic, Celtic, and Romans.
Their vocabulary and their syntax derive from a common origin.
Here was their cosmogony and their society's hierarchical structure.
The view of their sovereignty, their defense, their production and reproduction also share a common origin.
The civilization conception...
Of the world was found on representation and incarnation as well as respect due to women.
To protect this space, the Europeans had to fight against the external world.
There was a struggle between the East and the West.
For example, the victory of the Greek freedoms against the Persian Empire.
There was the victory of Romans risen against Carthage.
Later, the victory of the Romans and their barbarian allies against Unish odds arriving from Asia.
For 14th century, Christendom and Islam fought one another through the Reconquista.
of the Iberian Peninsula, the crisis and the struggle against the Turkish.
But these unending conflicts did not change the nature of the European population.
What we call in history the barbarian invasion from the 4th to the 9th century.
It did indeed reinforce the Germanic and Nordic presence in Southern and Central Europe, but without fundamentally changing Europe's nature.
The population remained European.
The Golden Order left its mark on Russia.
But the Mongols did not have any impact on Western Europe.
The Arab invasion only very, very slightly modified the populations of the Mediterranean coastlines.
Traces of subsaharian genes which are the genetic markers Are practically absent from Europe, except on certain southern coasts of Spain,
Sicily, and South Italy.
know the trusses
The former colonel In short, Europe's population remained exclusively European until 1960.
The Europeans withdrew from Africa and the Indo-Pakistani world, but the African and Muslim Began to migrate towards Europe.
The former colonial powers were the first affected: France, Great Britain, Belgium and the Netherlands, followed by Germany and the countries of Northern Europe, Scandinavia and Ireland.
We can see the outline of an invaded Europe.
Invaded Europe, you can see which are the parts of Europe the most invaded.
Here are the causes.
Immigration is being pushed by powerful economic and ideological forces.
Big business has always supported immigration, in which they say an effective way of putting downward Pressure on wages.
For their part, many migrants hope to live better in European countries than back home by finding jobs or accessing generous welfare systems.
These economic logics are being served by the reigning ideology founded on human rights.
Every individual, wherever he comes from and whatever his nationality, is supposed to have the same rights.
Every man, regardless of his origins, national, ethnic, cultural, religious or civilizational, is supposed to be replaceable.
French writer Renaud Camus calls this Reemplacisme global, global replacism.
Global replacism makes up the foundation of invaded Europe's orthodoxy, imposed by media propaganda and the tyranny of Jews, known as the rule of law.
All this is taking place on a background of repentance and guilt-mongering.
Because of Europeans martial, colonial and slave holding past.
All those, whether politicians or journalists who have opposed this, have been demonized.
The consequences are terrifying.
Northern and Western Europe are being invaded by mass immigration coming from Africa.
In France, more than 20% of the population is no longer European by origin or civilization.
was 38% of newborns
are tested for sickle cell disease, a test reserved for newborns whose two parents, if known, are not of European origin.
20% in 201, 37% in 2014.
This figure reaches 70% in Paris and its surrounding area.
You heard right.
70% in Paris and its surrounding area newborns are not European.
In Great Britain, 9% of the population was born in a non-European country.
A figure which does not take into account second or third generation migration.
According to the think tank Migration Watch, the British population will increase by 10 million over the next 25 years because an of incoming migrants and their descendants.
Since 2016, Sadik Khan, the mayor of London, is a Muslim with close ties to fundamentalists.
Pakistani gangs have begun a reign of terror in Northwest England.
Northwest England is where Enoch Powell raised the alarm in a famous speech given in Birmingham.
In April 20, 1968, 50 years ago.
The prophetic speech ruined the career of the most brilliant conservative politician of his generation.
In 2015, Germany welcomed 1.5 million migrants.
Two years earlier, Thilo Sarrazin, a former social democratic finance minister of Berlin, published an explosive book, Germany Abolishes Itself.
Thilo Sarrazin observes that since 1960, the birth of what we call the sous-Germans.
That is to say, ethnic or indigenous Germans have decreased by 70%.
70% decreased for German population, for newborns.
Among the under-20s, one-third of Germany's inhabitants are of foreign origin.
One-third under-20s.
A comparable situation exists in Belgium and the Netherlands.
For example, the indigenous European population has become a minority in Europe's two biggest ports, Anverbe and Rotterdam.
affected. Whereas
Today, 25% of the population is from the non-European world.
The great replacement coined by the French writer Renaud Camus is underway in all of Northern and Western Europe.
With the exception of France, the countries of the Mediterranean coast Greece, Italy, Spain were long spared immigration for three reasons.
They remained countries of immigration with abundant manpower.
They had powerful and rather close familial and clannish structure.
They had welfare states less attractive to foreigners than those of northern countries.
But migratory pressure...
Suddenly worsened from thousands and five onwards.
The worst cause in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria and Libya have sparked mass migration and have destroyed states which protected their borders.
Europe was under attack from Turkey through Greece and the Balkan, then from Libya and Morocco to Italy.
and Spain.
These attacks coincided with the rise of awareness in Italy and Spain, in Italy
In Spain, the National and Identity Party Vox has emerged ex nihilo.
It opened its campaign for the European election later this month in Covadonga.
Where the Muslim invaders were stopped in 722.
In the Balkans, the countries are also threatened by migratory invasion.
And now the resisting Europe.
The Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban took a historic decision three years ago to block the border with Serbia to put an end to the migratory invasion.
This decision shocked the major European leaders and yet he was only applying the Schengen agreements that is eliminating internal borders.
Controls between European countries, but requiring every control to control its external borders.
Orban has united the countries of Central Europe in the Visgrads Group, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Hungary, around this tough policy opposing migratory invasion.
It is there, as in the former East Germany, that one finds a preserved Europe.
There are many reasons for that.
This country, where in the Soviet communist bloc, and in this party of the world, European world, they know an economic and moral freeze, economic and moral freeze,
which protect these countries.
Another phenomenon must be taken into account.
The Eastern elites are mentally different from those of the West.
In the West, political and administrative elites have been deculturized and devastated by moral relativism and political correctness.
When those politicians Who are blind and lacking in conviction can build a political career.
In the East, the political elite remains those selected at the fall of communism, men and women who have experienced adversity, even prison, and who have the courage of their conviction.
There is thus then a great ideological and political battle taking place within Europe between the governing elite of the East and of the West and between the
oligarchs of the East and the West and the people.
The future of Europe will depend on the outcome of this battle.
A European Europe...
or submerge Europe.
What future for Europe?
Here are the causes for worry: the simple extrapolation of fertility rate graphs between the difference between European people and foreign people.
Politically, the politicians who stood up against immigration were either assassinated Like the Dutchman Pim Fortuyn are demonized, as was the Briton Enoch Powell,
the Frenchman Jean-Marie Le Pen, the Austrian Georg Heider, or in our time, the Italian Matteo Salvini and the Hungarian Victor Orban.
Demonization is a major destructive technique.
Currently, the entire Cultural, media and judicial system is supporting the ethnic and civilizational grid replacement.
This is worrying, very worrying.
And yet there are reasons for optimism.
There are now national and identity parties in all of the 28 nations of the European Union except Ireland and Portugal.
These parties are making electoral gains everywhere.
When I served in the European Parliament, there were 13 of us.
Thirteen. Eleven Frenchmen and two friends.
In the next European Assembly, there will probably be 200 or 240 representatives opposing immigration.
This is admittedly not enough to form a majority in an assembly of our 700 members.
But it is enough to change the balance of power or even establish a blocking minority.
And there is at least one statman in Europe who has a complete understanding of the stakes, Victor Orban, whose political line is clear, the defense of European and Christian identity.
What will be the outcome?
Can Europe still remain European?
The cold analysis of the facts does not lead one to be optimistic.
A threefold race against time is underway.
Wrath between the decline of European fertility rates and high African and Arab Muslim fertility rates.
A race between the potentially inexorable nature of the differential demographic between the populations and the European rising awareness of the situation.
It is also a race between the increased anger of European populists and the ideological normalization of the urban elite, including in the Est.
However, this cold analysis must not make us forget that history is the domain of the unexpected.
As the writer Dominique Venner said, an unexpected development could enable a reversal, indeed a radical reversal, against the reigning ideology in true ways.
In three ways.
By asserting the importance of the rights of people to their identity and leaving far behind the individual rights of man.
By doing away with guilt felt about the Second World War, colonialization, or slavery.
Such a reversal Could help Europeans take pride in their history, again, making possible the remigration and the reconquest of their land.
To conclude my speech, I wish to quote Dominique Venner again.
The quote is taken from a book he wrote two years before his sacrificial act at Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris.
Antitel the shock of history.
Everything suggests to me that the Europeans will be forced in the future to confront enormous challenges and deadly catastrophes, and not only those posed by immigration.
In these orders, they will have the opportunity to be reborn.
And to find themselves again.
I believe in the Europeans' unique qualities which are temporarily in hibernation.
I believe in their active individuality, in their inventiveness and in the awakening of their energy.
This awakening will come when I do not know.
But of this awakening, I have no doubt.
Europe is not Lampedusa.
It is our civilization.
Europe is not the organization spawned in Brussels.
It is not a currency or central bank.
Europe is not a globalized environment without borders.
Europe is neither an African world nor a land of Islam.
Europe is the continent of Europeans.
Europe has a history spanning many millennia and is over 700 million Europeans strong.
Europe is an identity, the European and Christian civilization.
Europe is made of Greek temples, Roman academics and theatres, Romanesque chapels, Gothic cathedrals, Renaissance palaces, vast town squares, barrack churches, classical style castles,
art novel buildings.
Europe has wild shores, majestic mountains and peaceful rivers.
Europe is the feeling of nature.
Europe is a patchwork of landscapes,
From the Paulders to Brocage.
Europe is not the land of industrial food, but on the contrary is the land of gastronomy, which expresses itself through oil and butter,
wine and beer, bread and cheese, sausage and ham.
Europe is not a world of abstract concepts, but rather one where the art of representation excels, from Praxiteles to Rodan, from the Pompeian frescoes to the Vienna secession.
Europe is both Celtic fantasy and the Christian mystery.
Europe is the civilization which turns stone into lace.
Europe is the refusal of bewilderment.
It is the culture which invented polyphonic choirs and symphonic orchestras.
Europe is not the world of Belphegor, but rather is the civilization which honors women as a goddess, a mother, or a warrior.
Europe is the culture of chivalry and courtly love.
Europe is not about civilians, but rather is the land of liberty, Greek citizenship, the Roman forum, The English Magna Carta from 1215.
All the cities and private universities of the Middle Ages.
The awakening of the nations in the 19th century.
Europe is a literary and mythological heritage.
Homer, Virgil, Hesiod, the Eddas, the Nibelungen Lied and the Arthurian Circle.
It is also Shakespeare, Perrault and Grimm.
Europe is also about inventions and conquests.
Leonardo da Vinci and Gutenberg.
The caravels, hot air balloons, the beginnings of aviation and Ariane.
It is also bridges across the seas.
Europe incarnates itself in those heroes who defend it over the centuries.
It is Leonidas and his 300 Spartans saving Greece from Asia.
Scipio Africanus preserving Rome from Carthage.
Charles Martel pushing the Arab invasion away.
Godfrey of Bouillon freeing the Holy Land and creating the Frankish Kingdom of Jerusalem.
It is also Ferdinand of Aragon and Isabella of Castile releasing Granada.
Ivan the Terrible pushing the Mongols away from the Holy Russia.
And it is Don Juan of Austria defeating the Turks at Lepanto.
It's made of important places: the Parthenon, Saint Mark's Square, Saint Peter's Basilica, the Bellum Tower, Santiago de Compostela, the Mont Saint Michel, the Tower of London, the Brandenburg Gate,
the Towers of the Kremlin.
Such is the heritage of our civilization.
Today, Europe happens to be the sick man of the world.
It is forced to feel guilty.
It is colonized and it is weakened.
This is not fatal and will not last.
Let's stop this repentance and together we can find again the thread of our long memory.
Such is the message and hope delivered by Dominique Venner.
I believe in the specific qualities of the Europeans who are temporarily asleep.
I believe in the capacity to act, the inventiveness and the awakening of their energy.
The revival will come.
When? I do not know, but I have no doubt it will happen.
I do not know, but I have no doubt it will happen.
I was wondering if you could give us a few comments on the history of how Europeans lost their sense of identity and replaced it with a sense of guilt.
How does the Europeans have lost their identity and replaced it by a sense of accountability?
What is this process?
I think the process that affected Europe and which is then, is the following of the World War.
That's the origin.
I believe the origin of this process was the First World War.
And after the Second World War, the Europeans were culpabilized by the horrors of the Second World War.
Then, we extended the culpabilization to colonization
to the memory of slavery.
Also, at the end of the Second World War, Europeans felt guilty about the terrible butcheries that took place during that war.
Later on, with colonization, they were made to feel guilty about colonization.
And it continues, unfortunately, to get started.
And that has just continued, unfortunately, in that direction.
Thank you very much.
Do you know how much power Juncker has over the appointment of the more nationalist candidates?
Juncker? Who is that?
Juncker, the sole president of the...
Appointment of who?
Yeah, so the more nationalists rising, coming from the countries, how much power does the president have over appointing them?
Point du main.
Alors, il y aura des nationalistes qui arrivent au Parlement de l'Europe.
Mais Jean-Claude Juncker,
Can they suppress their activities by appointments, by directives?
How many power have the nationalists if they arrive?
I think that the groups that will arrive will be protected by the parliamentary status and the parliamentary habits.
Of course, there will be maneuvers.
But they will be protected by the parliamentary rules.
Imparfaitement, but protected, yes.
Of course there will be maneuvers to try to limit their influence, but they will be protected, at least to some degree, not perfectly protected by the parliamentary rules under which the European Parliament operates.
They cannot be suspended just for the nationalists.
Last question.
Do you characterize less Republicans as becoming a fairly strong party against immigration?
The who?
The Republicans?
less Republicans
Les Républicains, le parti politique en France, est-ce qu'ils deviennent, ils commencent à prendre une position contre l'immigration?
Yes, during the electoral campaign.
Okay. But seulement.
Seulement.
The man who is running the campaign for the Republicans, he tends to speak in a very strong, conservative, identitarian way, but the people behind him are those who think in precisely the opposite.
And so for the most part, this is a maneuver for the campaign, and it's not something you can trust later on.
Well, thank you very much.
