Time Text
I'd like to introduce our next speaker.
His name is Markus Fullen.
He is a Swedish YouTube blogger that goes under the name of The Golden One.
He's a graduate of Uppsala University, and he owns a clothing line called Leggio Gloria.
And he will speak on a subject that I think is very important, namely the fact that with knowledge comes Responsibility.
And with understanding comes duty.
And I believe it is this mentality that leads him to speak on the subject today.
The defense of the West begins with you.
Please welcome Marcus Fuller.
Thank you very much for that, Gerard.
And before I begin with the speech itself, I would just like to say a few words.
First and foremost, a massive thank you to everyone who has given me a warm welcome.
The support is really heartfelt.
And if you have noticed, I have the American colors on.
Thank you.
And on the note, I know that a lot of people ask, how is Sweden faring?
How is the state of Sweden at the moment?
And I will be honest, it's not quite the best, but there is always hope.
And knowing that there is a lot of moral support from America is also heartfelt.
So just having that support is definitely helping.
Noted. Better?
Perfect. And on the note of Swedish-American friendship, it is an honor to say that our great king, Gustav III, he was an Enlightenment despot.
He was the first neutral head of state to acknowledge the United States of America as a nation.
So we have a long, good friendship, and hopefully it will continue in the trials ahead.
Now... I would also like to say a few words of our glorious host, Gerard Taylor.
I have watched Gerard's work for a few years now and something that struck me in the interviews and the videos he made was that he was the exact opposite of what our enemies want to portray us as.
So, some key words which I will get back to in my speech.
Calm, confident, polite, well-spoken, well-dressed.
These are all things that the enemy does absolutely not want us to be.
They want us to be the exact opposite to fit into their narrative.
Now, I want to pose two questions and then an anecdote before I begin with my"The Renaissance begins with you" or"The Defense of Europe begins with you" speech.
So...
The first question we must ask ourselves is: What are our aims?
And in my humble view, at least in this particular moment in time, our view, our aim is to get our views, the radical notion of that it's okay to be white, the radical notion of not wanting to be replaced in our own nations that we built,
this view must become mainstream.
We must get as many people on board with this message as possible.
That is at least one of my missions at this particular moment in time.
So that is the question.
Shift the Overton window to make our ideas mainstream.
To make the idea that white identity is something to be celebrated, make that a mainstream thing.
So we want the mainstream to come to us and not the other way around, because we cannot compromise.
On our views, if we are to, frankly, survive.
Because that's what this is.
We might talk about politics, but it isn't really politics, it's about survival.
And a quote by Andrew Breitbart:"Politics is downstream from culture" comes to mind there.
And what this means, if I talk about the culture war, or the Meta-Political Crusade, If we change the culture, if we change the way people conduct themselves, how they think, politics will inevitably change as well.
So if we want to change the politics, if we want to change the views on immigration in Sweden or in America, we must first change the way people view themselves.
Because, after all, everyone is an individual who believes in the liberal agenda.
There's not really anything to replace, but if we actively can get people to view themselves as part of a great civilization that is worth defending, then we will have a much better condition for them to understand our views.
Now, the second question is: How does the enemy want to portray us?
And when I mean enemy, we can broadly say the liberal establishment of the West.
So the mainstream fake news media, for example.
How do they want to portray us?
And we can know this by looking at the hit pieces they're doing on political dissidents.
So a few keywords yet again: angry, insecure, socially not very well adapted.
Out of shape, not very well dressed, all these sort of bad things that make them seem as an individual who is not socially well adjusted or compatible for leadership.
So if we want to know how we should present ourselves, we can just look at how the media wants to represent us and then do the exact opposite.
And another note before I begin on my wish list is that this wish list is both it can apply no matter what the future holds because and I get this question all the time as well do you think there will be a civil war in Sweden or in Germany or in the UK or in in America for example I don't know no one knows but what I can say is that we can take certain measures in preparation for whatever the future holds.
It might just be a political victory, a cultural victory, or should it come to it, an actual civil war.
If we take certain steps now to make ourselves the best possible versions of ourselves, we will be in a better position no matter what the future holds.
So, on to my anecdote.
So this was one and a half years ago.
It was the summer of 2016.
So I had hired a locale and I invited various good men to come there and train, train some martial arts in order to train, network, etc.
So I had rented the locale for every Sunday throughout the entire summer.
And we come there on a Sunday.
And the card key isn't working.
And then I watched the date, and it's actually the 1st of September, so I missed that with a date.
But it was still sunny, beautiful outside, and we decided to train on the campus itself, because it's a large sports facility.
And there was a lot of younger lads there, various football teams and hockey teams etc.
And they were training as well, and I saw them standing around waiting for the trainer to give them instructions, something like that.
So we started doing our boxing drills, and as we progress in our session, I can see them looking at us and starting boxing with themselves, which was quite fun.
And when I analyzed this later...
It became clear that they imitated us.
They imitated the older men of the tribe.
And the sensation I got when I saw them starting to imitate what we were doing is that this is extremely powerful.
The notion that you can lead by example.
How you conduct yourself can be how others conduct themselves.
So it's not only about one individual.
It's not only about yourself.
It's also...
How you affect others in a positive way setting yourself up as a good role model and this can go this can be a chain effect so if some individual inspires another young lad who in turn inspires another and then we have a hopefully chain reaction throughout all of the West where all people start identifying as who they are start and ascending on the quest for glory then we are in a good Position.
So anyway, that was my heartfelt little anecdote.
I hope you enjoyed it.
So anyway, on to my wish list.
And this is especially true for anyone who is a representative of our ideas.
And this can be anything from A political party, a metapolitical organization, activists, or generally anyone who promotes our worldview.
Because, as I said, there is hope, there's plenty of hope, but at the same time, we don't have a lot of time on our hands, so we don't really have the time to not be the best we can possibly be.
And it's especially true for Sweden.
We have an election coming up, and...
I wish we had begun this process a long time ago, winning the Meta-Political War a long time ago.
But anyway, as I said, with how the media wants to portray us, they've been relentless in portraying political dissidents, right-wing people, nationalists, portray them always in the same sort of way.
And I know this is quite similar for all of the West.
Nationalist as an angry, young, uneducated man who is angry at the modern world, is angry at the world because he isn't achieving success in it.
So by presenting yourself as successful, you are shielding yourself from that criticism.
And obviously the fake news media, they're not interested in our perspectives.
They're not interested in giving us a fair hearing.
What they're interested in is finding...
Weak spots in our armor that they can pounce upon and attack.
So what do we do?
Yes, we are looking at creating as strong armor as possible.
So that is these steps I'm about to elaborate on.
So first step is to dress well, which I'm happy to see that everyone here is well dressed, of course.
But it's worth mentioning anyway.
And also, when I say dress...
Well, it's dressing according to the situation, so it's not always about having a suit and tie, but dressing well and appropriate for the occasion and always presenting yourself in a good way.
The second step, and this is obviously something that is not new for anyone who's been following me for a while, and that is to be physically fit and well-trained.
And a quote comes to mind:"A healthy mind in a healthy body." And this works quite well in reverse as well.
So if anyone got a view of our greatest fans out there earlier, you can quite clearly see that they are not healthy in their mind and they are usually not healthy in their body either.
Amen. I'm going to go back to the next one.
And creating a culture which reveres physical prowess, it has quite many Positive benefits to it.
First and foremost, it gives your body a good condition, or your mind rather, a good condition to produce good, healthy thoughts.
So if we think about the mind and body as one, everything as one, and working in unison, if you take care of one, you take care of the other.
Take care of your diet and training, and you will become more productive.
Another quote, or rather I will paraphrase it, if someone doesn't have time for training, they will sooner or later have to take time out for sickness.
So that is something worth mentioning.
Now, I'm not saying that everyone can be in the gym all the time.
Obviously, it depends on your life situation, but for younger lads, I'd say that that is a very good starting position in your self-improvement journey, at least.
And a wish for organizations as well is to have an active component in your organizations so that physical training is part of the duties and general experience of being part of that organization.
And then obviously it comes to being physically fit in the capacity for various endeavors is always a good investment no matter if we're talking about A potentially violent situation.
This is obviously not something we strive for right now because it's still a culture war, a meta-political crusade, but it's a good insurance to have.
It's never a bad investment to build your body.
So that was the second step.
Be fit and well trained.
The third step is...
Extremely important, and that is to always be well-spoken.
And this is also something that the great enemy, that the media, for example, they absolutely love to see when people who harbor our views, nationalists, right-wing dissidents, etc., when they can tie us to really hate speech in its proper sense.
Because it's a great turnoff for The mainstream that we want to appeal to.
And if they can put really unattractive speech upon us, yeah, then they win.
So that's why it's very important to always be, when talking to people, or when posting things, so we can talk about social media such as Instagram, Twitter, or in podcasts, interviews.
It's always important to maintain a reasonable rhetoric so you don't stoop to racial slurs, etc.
And this does not only have to do with looking good politically, it's not something we should strive for anyway because we're supposed to hold up ourselves as gentlemen.
So it's a two-fold issue there.
Another thing about words is that words have power and words have meaning.
And you can view words as either weapons or ammunition.
So 500 years ago or 100 years ago the ammunition and weapons looked different and now because it was a different kind of war now we are in the metapolitical war so therefore we need to use words as weapons and the better your words are the better your weapons are so training yourself to become good in speech and when I mean this it can be a A tweet,
or it can be a speech such as this, or it can be a YouTube video, an interview.
The better you are, the better you can present your views, our views, in an eloquent way.
And that's also why I recommend reading a lot, because you get a good grasp of the language.
So, yeah, read a lot.
Thank you.
Step number four is to reject degeneracy.
And this is something that most definitely starts within yourself.
It is easy to lament the state of the modern world and see that there is a lot of degeneracy going on.
Perhaps hookup culture, drugs, drunkenness, pornography, all these sort of maladies of the modern world.
The absolute first step is simply to not participate in it.
And the absolutely most common, I'd say, malady then would be porn.
And the reason I'm often taking issue with porn is that it's such an easily accessible drug and that's usually a good first step to cut out from your life as well.
And this is a message I would like to say to as many younger guys as possible.
So that's a good starting point.
A note on alcohol as well.
Now we need to distinguish between Drunkenness and the odd alcoholic beverage.
I wouldn't want to see everyone being completely straight-edged because that would mean that we would lose significant cultural things such as the wine from France, the champagne from France, beer from Germany.
So I'm not advocating a complete abolition, but I would like to see a culture where drunkenness is frowned upon.
And especially if we're talking about being a representative for an ideology, there are a few good things that happen when you are drunk.
And if you know that you are in a position where you need to weigh every single word and you know that your actions and words will have meaning,
alcohol is...
Usually a component for disaster and this is something I've at least seen firsthand in political settings where people who are otherwise very good, talented politicians,
for example, they have a moment of weakness and that can ruin their entire career because they have done something or said something on one drunken night and that is obviously very regrettable to see.
And also, it's not a good look to be drunk.
It's not something a representative should do.
And last note on vices, I would like to quote:"Since Thomas of Aquinas, a man has as many masters as he has vices." Point number five.
Humor in Meta-Politics.
Use humor when suitable but also know when to be serious.
So this is something I think we all learned during the Trump campaign that the meme war was extremely effective.
Application of humor in politics extremely effective because if we are to be completely honest with ourselves most apolitical Individuals, most normies, most people who aren't really into politics,
the best way to get to them is via easily accessible, fun pictures.
And that's regrettable.
I noticed that myself after spending a good bit of time writing eloquent articles, or I thought they were eloquent at least, but still.
And then I noticed that my memes I shared via my Facebook page was far more popular.
But there is two ways to reach people.
You can reach people deep with solid intellectual qualitative work, and that's good to reach perhaps in the higher echelons of...
of society, so I'm not saying that we should only focus on memes, because memes are suitable to a certain part of the population, whereas their, perhaps, deeper analysis are suited to the more powerful parts of our people.
Anyway, using humor in meta-politics, such as when mocking the leftist, it is an extremely potent weapon and...
We should use it when possible, without turning into a completely ironic sort of movement who takes everything without any seriousness.
So it's a fine line, but still something that needs to be pointed out.
Thank you.
Now, step 6.
It's for both organizations and parties and also individuals and everyone and anyone who wants to perhaps have some sort of member bond or some sort of social group,
I suppose, with like-minded people.
The first thing I would like to see, and these previous speakers have also...
We talked about this, so I won't really add anything new, but I thought to mention it anyway.
Setting a good high standard for ourselves and for our comrades.
This is also something I've seen in Sweden over the past generations, that it has not really been any high standard set upon the representatives of a movement.
It has been enough to just have the right views, but it hasn't been...
Mandatory to conduct yourself in a certain way.
And this is obviously problematic because of the reasons I mentioned with the media, etc.
So if you begin to set a high standard for yourself, so if you know that you're always going to be well-spoken and well-dressed and abstain from the energy, then you have three points you can also demand from other people.
So if you set yourself up to a high standard and don't compromise with yourself, then you can do the same with the people you want to attract.
And obviously this can work on a personal level and it can also work on an organizational level.
So the higher standards an organization has, the better people they will attract and also the people who have joined the organization will become better from it.
So creating a good and uplifting culture is absolutely a key component in attracting the right people and also creating the right people.
Because ultimately this struggle, this great quest, it's about our people and all individuals becoming the best versions of themselves will hopefully lead us out of this darkness.
us. Thank you.
And now the last step in my wish list is very similar to the previous step, and that is the network.
And that is why these sort of conferences are so valuable.
So the speeches are, hopefully, very nice to listen to, but it's also important to meet like-minded people.
And as the saying goes, it's not what you know, it's who you know.
And the more people you have in your network, the stronger you will be.
Yet again, no matter the situation we are facing, so we can talk about business, politics or civil unrest, the more people you can trust you have in your network, the better off you will be.
So networking is extremely important and now we have this unique gift of the Internet.
Which we must use to the fullest and one of the uses of the internet is to find like-minded people and then meet up in real life and shake the hand and see that it's actually real people who stand for these views.
So that is something that I hope we can continue to do.
Another note here on the networking via the internet and getting that face-to-face interaction is that we don't know for how long we will have the internet before they start censoring it, so it might be a good idea to start networking as much as possible in real life before that happens.
So I thought to give some time for Q&A as well, so I will conclude my speech there.
Thank you.
I appreciate the speech.
Well needed.
I wanted to speak a bit about the personal ownership aspect of the situation of things.
So it seems that there are a lot of pointing fingers and a lot of who's to blame and whatnot, but I wanted to know what you thought of the value of taking ownership and responsibility for your own actions and pursuing greatness for yourself first before pointing the fingers and blaming others.
What are your thoughts on?
To what degree that we should do those things?
Yeah, that's an absolutely excellent question.
And in retrospect, I should probably have talked a bit more on that aspect in the speech.
But I can elaborate on that now.
Absolutely first step, always within yourself.
Because you can change yourself.
You cannot change others to the same extent.
What you can do, however, is if you change yourself and if you present yourself as...
An attractive role model, basically.
People will look at you and start emulating if you present:"Here is where I am now, and this has been good for me.
Here are the steps I've taken." That's extremely powerful.
And then, obviously, with the pointing fingers, it's not something...
Of course, we must point to the fact that the politicians in Sweden, for example, they have been absolutely horrendous for Sweden.
But when it comes to nationalists among ourselves, we must obviously try to lift each other up.
And constructive criticism can be valuable and needed, but I've seen far too much of the negative sort of feedback as well, so that's obviously not something that is particularly good.
And to give a brief answer to your question, always best to look in the mirror first and do...
Become the best version of yourself.
So I hope that answers.
Cheers man.
I've seen a lot of fitness videos from Europe and the impression I keep getting is when I see stuff from like East Black's Islamic countries it seems like working out is glorified and everyone's eating way and whatnot.
But then when I see videos from Scandinavia I keep seeing all these guys saying that basically the government doesn't like them and it's putting restrictions on gyms and restrictions on supplements.
And some of the claims, I mean, I don't know if it's really accurate, because there's basically talking like the Scandinavian governments are trying to demonize bodybuilding and people with big muscles.
Well, it's true that there is a difference, and I have a hypothesis, and that's that the Slavs, the Eastern Europeans actually stole all of our testosterone, so I don't think that's true.
Might be the case.
But yeah, they have a much better culture in that regard.
Masculine things, no matter if it's role-playing, knights and fighting, that sort of way, I think it's called, or MMA or strength training, etc.
It is still something that is seen as being good.
In Sweden, however, we've had a severe masculinity crisis.
So they've done...
Yeah, they've gone to great lengths just hammer down masculinity in every regard.
So, yeah, it's a cultural thing and that's one of the reasons I try to promote this as much as possible.
So the young guys who are perhaps still in school in Sweden will see that, okay, these teachers, they say that we're...
Toxic masculinity, etc.
But then if they hear from someone such as myself or such as others that it's actually okay to want to be masculine and to have traditional gender roles.
So that's a part of the struggle and quite an important part.
What attributes in your opinion are good for women in our movement to have to be good role models like you are for young men?
Thank you for the kind words.
I would say it can be a bit tricky for a woman but generally the same rules would apply to be soft-spoken, well-spoken, polite and the strength that women can have.
That completely shatters the liberal establishment's narrative of right-wing dissidents is that women comes off as...
they're much more inviting to look at and to listen to, to be honest.
So if the media, for example, wants to portray us all as aggressive, young...
Men who are angry and then comes a woman who is presenting herself in a very feminine way and presents completely reasonable views such as saying"I think it's reasonable for whites to want an ethnostate." It would be really hard for these leftists to portray her in the way that they want.
But in practical terms, I'm not an expert in femininity but I would say that...
Much of the same rules would apply.
Be educated, and I don't mean that you need to go to a university, but I mean that you can read a lot of books, articles, etc., and educate yourself in that way, and learn to present them in a good way as well.
Hopefully that answers the question.
Thank you, Markus.
After watching you and listening to you for 50 minutes, to your very pleasantly accented English...
I just want to ask, do you have any ambition to run for governor of California?
