Investors are again brushing off the government shutdown and are focusing on merger news and a new artificial intelligence deal.
Comerica shares are up more than 10%.
The third bank of Cincinnati is buying Comerica for 10.9 billion dollars.
The combined bank will have a reach from the Midwest to Southeast, Texas, and California.
Artificial Intelligence Giant, OpenAI and Chipmaker Advanced Micro Devices have announced a five-year agreement.
They'll collaborate on AI data centers that will run on AMD processors, a challenge to industry chipmaker NVIDIA.
The two companies didn't disclose the plans expected overall cost.
AMD's processors are currently used for traditional data centers, gaming, and PCs.

Denver Nuggets will open up preseason play tomorrow night in San Diego when they take on the Minnesota Timberwolves.

And it's Monday.
You know what that means.
You know, the weekend's over.
We're back in studio.
It's always uh, you know, a little bittersweet.
You love taking a break for the weekend, but then you love getting back in the seat here, as it were, and there's only so many more days left for me here in this seat.
Um for those of you who don't know, we made the announcement on Friday of last week that just informed talk, the radio show will be ending, and uh it will no longer be airing here on KHNC as of for now, the end of October.
October 31st should be the last show on air here, uh airing in the front range of Colorado on AM Radio.
So the show will go on, as I've said before, and I'm gonna keep making these announcements throughout the upcoming weeks ahead, just to let anybody know who happens to tune in uh occasionally.
Perhaps you're not one that listens every day, but you listen, you know, from time to time.
We want to make sure that each and every one of you are fully aware that uh that's happening and uh where you can find me.
Uh I'll I've already got a bunch of nice messages from many of you out there who listen regularly saying, you know, how much you like the show and how you're sad to see it go, but uh, like I said, there will be a show that continues.
I don't have any specific details on it yet, but it will be on my Rumble channel, Rumble.com slash just informed talk is where you can find me.
And uh I'm also on X at Just Informed the Number One.
And those are the two places that you'll be able to follow up with me and and um you know continue to get the content.
Nick know my co-host and I will be doing a show together uh on my channel, and who knows, we may have different spin-offs into different things as well, so just throwing that out there to keep you guys aware of what's happening with uh regard to that.
And you know, a lot of people have been asking me why, why, why, why?
Well, you know, it's it's a bit complicated, obviously.
There's always uh complexity to a lot of these sort of things, but at the end of the day, it just seems as though the time for me has come to move on and uh move onward and upward, as they say, and uh who knows, maybe this show will end up landing on another station, I don't know.
Maybe it will just stay an internet phenomena going forward.
But yeah, you know, I'm I'm really thankful for the time I've had with all of you.
And it's a weird thing to be on air knowing that the end is coming.
I guess it's sort of a strange thing.
Um, but it's also uh kind of nice because it's gonna give me time and hopefully you time to uh process it.
Cause at the end of the day, I know um the majority of you out there listening uh probably are gonna miss the show and really be sad about it.
There's gonna be a very small minority of haters who have been probably wishing for this uh you know for a long time, and you know, to the haters I say, you know, God bless you as well, because uh, you know, you're entitled to your opinions.
But today, you know, we're gonna start the week as we always do with some hope and encouragement from Pastor Dean Miller, and he had a great sermon this weekend.
Um for anybody who listened to it already, you know, um apologies for the repeat, but for those of you who haven't, he talked to in the the sermon I listened to on Sunday, you know, he talked a lot about sort of everything,
and and it was a really great um set of uh a really great sermon s dealing with the idea, the words of our Lord and Savior Jesus, when he said, I am the true vine.
And he he gives a great introduction and he talks about the vine and grafting in the Gentiles and what that means, how both Jesus seemed to describe it in his own words, and then what Paul said later about that.
And you know, it does deal a little bit with Israel, this sermon does.
And I thought, and I'll give you my thought before and after the sermon, obviously.
But I thought it was a good explanation, and you know, there are a lot of people out there that like myself have been truly praying for discernment, trying to see clarity on how to understand what's going on in Israel,
and I don't think necessarily this sermon answers every question, and perhaps there are many questions still yet to be answered that uh surely we can you know try to get to the bottom of, but it does give us a good template for the Christian life and Christian humility, right?
Because the the few takeaways I got from this sermon that I thought were really positive, particularly when it came to Israel and my understanding of what's going on there and how to feel about it, is this that we have to humble ourselves first to know that we don't know God's plan, and that God does have a great plan, and it does involve Israel.
Now we get into semantics when we start arguing about what is Israel, right?
That's where I think there is there are a lot of questions still yet to be answered, and I pray for discernment and understanding that.
Um is Israel the modern you know iteration of the people that sit there today that use the seal of Solomon on their flag and you know, uh are a secular society that has rejected Christ, perhaps.
Is Israel some other you know, group of people or or something that is yet to be understood fully by the world, perhaps.
Um again, humbling myself to know I don't know, and to admit I don't know, I guess would be my first step in in asking God for clarity of mind to be able to process it.
But there is clearly throughout scripture a thread that talks about how the Jewish people will be a part of God's plan ultimately, right?
But it also talks about how they're gonna continue to make very bad decisions and do in many cases very evil things that they will suffer for.
Um so it's it's an interesting balance there, and when we get back, we'll start the sermon.
I'll play it.
But I wanted to give that that context for it just to give you my thoughts on it before we listen to it, and we'll I'll give you some more thoughts after we listen to the sermon, but that's what where I stand with it is trying to understand that there's a lot more to the story, and we'll have to wait and hear it.
Uh, I'll let the sermon speak for itself, though.
When we come back, we'll start that and then uh listen to that, and then we'll get into we'll talk about it a little bit more and maybe getting some of the news.

Welcome back to Just Form Talk Radio.
I'm your host, Craig James.
And like I said before the break, we are going to listen to Pastor D. Miller's sermon from this Sunday, Front Range Baptist Church in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Let's just tune into it and listen.
Well, the Lord Jesus was about to do that with his disciples.
He was telling them, you're going to go out into places beyond your borders.
And we're going to hear about that today in John 15.
Now, here's what I want to tell you.
Because in the first service today, we made it halfway through the introduction.
And uh, and so we're I'm just asking the Lord to duplicate that in here.
So here's what we're gonna do.
I'm gonna read one verse, and then I'm gonna give you the introduction.
And uh in the introduction of this, we're gonna lay a basis for the next few weeks, the subsequent weeks that are vitally important for you.
Now don't misunderstand.
I'll get to some practical things in a minute, but I want you to bear with and listen carefully, because this is gonna set the scene and the stage for exactly where we live today.
John 15, verse 1.
We're gonna read one verse, and then we're gonna give the introduction.
John 15, verse 1.
Ready?
I am the true vine.
And my father is the husbandman.
Now, Jesus says this important and poignant phrase.
I am the true vine.
Now, what's important about this is in the Gospel of John, this is the seventh I am.
You say, what's important about that?
When God introduced himself to Moses in Egypt, God gave Moses his covenant name, his relationship name to Israel.
Who shall I say sent me?
I am.
That I am.
This is how we know God today by the name of Yahweh, Jehovah, the great I am.
So Jesus in the book of John, who is teaching that he is the word that was with God and the word that was God.
He says seven times in the book of John, I am.
And in the Jewish world, they knew exactly what he was saying.
He was making himself equal with God.
He was saying, I am God.
I'm Jehovah.
Jehovah in the Old Testament is the Jesus of the New Testament.
Made flesh, dwelling among us.
God incarnate, God in flesh.
Okay?
Everybody with me on that?
So seven times he says, I am the life.
I am the light.
I am the resurrection.
I am the great shepherd.
I am the vine.
Jesus gives these seven I ams.
Now, why does he give it now?
What's it?
What's his point in I am the vine?
Some people perhaps were thinking that Jesus was walking past a vineyard in Jerusalem, which would not be out of the question.
They were everywhere in Jerusalem, so surely he was probably walking past a vineyard, and he was using this allegory of I am the vine, you are the branches.
Perhaps they were walking by the temple.
And the temple in these days, Herod's temple, had giant gates.
The gates of the court were golden gates that were made in Greece.
And imported into Judea, and they were set up in the temple, and they were made of gold, and they had artistry on them of a vine.
Everyone that came into the court of the temple walked through a great golden vine.
Perhaps Jesus was referring to that vine.
Now let me put a pause right there for just a minute and explain to you why he's even walking past the temple or a vineyard.
Jesus, a few days before, had ridden into Jerusalem on the back of a donkey.
We call it the triumphal entry.
He came riding into Jerusalem.
The people lined the streets.
Hosanna, Hosanna, Hosanna, glory to God in the highest.
The people were greeting Jesus.
He comes into Jerusalem, and the place is filled with people.
They were Jews from all over the world.
Why?
Because it were the it was the days of the feast.
What feast?
Passover.
So Jesus comes into Jerusalem.
At the days of Passover, there would have been over a million people in Jerusalem.
There would have been some five hundred thousand sheep that would be sacrificed in a few days.
So the streets were crowded.
Jesus goes to the temple during these couple of days.
He goes to the temple.
He walks into the Jewish temple, and he overturns the tables.
And he says to the Jewish leaders in the temple, you have made the house of God a den of thieves.
And he cleanses the temple.
Then he walks past a fig tree the next day.
And he goes to the fig tree, he goes up to the fig tree, and there's no fruit on it.
And he curses the fig tree.
And it withers.
Disciples said, What in the world?
Why did you do that?
Jesus came to that fig tree, which was a symbolic moment of Israel as a nation.
And when he came to Israel, he came to find fruit.
And there was no fruit.
Only leaves.
Leaves of self-righteousness.
Remember what Adam and Eve covered themselves in after they sinned?
Listen to me.
Adam and Eve covered themselves in fig leaves.
Those fig leaves were a picture of self-righteousness.
They sewed them together.
It was their own works.
You know what that was?
Listen to me.
You know what that was?
That was religion.
That was the first religion.
Adam and Eve belonged to the church of fig leaves.
And Jesus, and what did God do?
God said, Why do you have those fig leaves?
Oh, we were naked and we covered ourselves.
Who told you that you were naked?
Well, we ate of this tree.
Well, Adam didn't say we did.
He blamed his wife.
She did.
She blamed the devil.
He did.
He made me do it.
Hasn't that been man's process?
We're always blaming somebody else, and we ultimately say the devil made me do it.
Yeah, the devil did make you do it.
The devil that you see in the mirror every day.
We're all sinners.
God said, You're not going to come into my presence.
You're not going to restore relationship with me because you sowed fig leaves together.
You can't be saved by your own works.
So he slew an animal.
Shed the blood of an innocent substitute.
Took the skins of that and clothed them with that.
This is the Old Testament picture and prophecy of Jesus Christ.
Listen to me, very carefully.
Listen to me.
You cannot get to heaven and have a relationship with God through religion and works of righteousness.
Can I just tell you that God hates religion?
Religion is an organized system of rules that everybody has to follow, hoping that we have enough fig leaves to cover ourselves to get to heaven.
And if we just cover ourselves enough, then God will let us in.
Listen to me.
You cannot cover yourself enough with your own works.
You need the grace of God.
You need the sufficiency of Jesus Christ.
You need a substitute to die in your place.
So Jesus comes to the fig tree.
It's nothing but leaves and no fruit.
He curses it.
It withers.
Jesus goes now with his disciples into an upper room.
He's got all 12 of them.
They go into an upper room.
And in that upper room, they observe the feast of Passover.
That's a Jewish feast.
It comes all the way back from Exodus chapter 12.
Israel was in Egypt.
They were in bondage in Egypt.
A picture of the world.
Pharaoh, a picture of Satan.
They were under the oppression of the world.
They were bond slaves there.
God had them take a lamb and shed the blood of a lamb and apply that blood to the doorpost with hyssop.
Hyssop was a bush that grew out of the ground.
By the way, little parentheses.
Hyssop is an amazing thing.
Why hyssop?
Why did God say you had to apply it with Hyssop?
Because Hyssop is a bush that grows in the desert.
It grows in arid places where it never rains.
So how does something grow where it never rains?
Hyssop has one root.
Its root goes way down in the ground.
It finds a rock.
It wraps around that rock and it takes its moisture and its sustenance from the rock.
When the winds in the desert blow, it is anchored because it's anchored to an unseen rock beneath the surface.
So when you have to use a hyssop bush, you have to cut it off.
Listen to me, can I tell you something?
Hyssop is a picture of faith.
How do we grow in this old desert world?
Because we have an unseen root that goes down and wraps around a rock.
His name is Jesus, and we get our life from him.
So faith, watch this, faith in the blood applied on the doorpost of your life.
When the death angel comes, he passes over.
Those that were behind the blood were saved.
So then God instituted this feast of Passover.
Take this lamb, shed its blood, apply it to the doorpost, eat the lamb.
But you're going to eat the standing up.
You're going to eat it with a staff in your hand.
You're going to eat it with bitter herbs.
And then when I tell you, we're going to go out.
And God delivered them from Egypt through the shed blood of the Lamb.
He took them through the Red Sea, which is a picture of baptism.
The Red Sea opened.
They went through.
The Red Sea closed, and it separated them from Egypt.
They were now a distinct people, called out, separated from Egypt.
And going to Canaan.
Canaan is not a picture of heaven.
Some people think, well, I thought Canaan was a picture of heaven.
I hope not.
They were fighting a lot of battles when they got over there.
I don't want to get to heaven and say, yes, I'm here.
You know, we're going to get to go to heaven.
There are no more battles in heaven.
Amen.
Canaan, watch this.
Canaan is a picture of the spirit-filled fruitful life.
It's a life of obedience.
It's a life where God takes his people out of Egypt, bought by the blood, taking them over to victory, filled them with the Spirit, taking them into that land where they conquer, and it's a land of milk and honey and fruit.
That's the life of the victorious Christian who is filled with the Spirit of God.
So Jesus has that meal symbolizing all of that with the Jewish men.
But it will be the last time he has the Passover meal with him.
Because in just a moment, the Passover is going to be, is going to be a thing of the past.
Because the Lamb of God, Jesus, is going to die in just a moment.
So they eat this meal.
After they eat the Passover that the Jews had eaten for thousands of years, they eat the Passover together.
Something amazing happens.
Jesus looks at his twelve and says, one of you is going to Betray me.
The men begin to look around the room.
Is it I?
Is it me?
Is it me?
Nobody suspected Judas.
He looked just like the rest of them.
Nobody said, Well, I think it's him.
Nobody knew that.
Everybody said, Is it me?
And then something absolutely amazing happens.
Satan entered into Judas.
And Jesus looked at him and said, What thou doest, do quickly.
Judas gets up and he leaves.
Now it's Jesus and eleven.
What does this mean?
Judas was an apostate.
Judas was an unbeliever.
Judas had walked with Jesus.
He had been baptized by John the Baptist.
Judas was a man who ate with them, sat with them, walked with them, fellowship with them, saw the works of Jesus Christ.
But he had never believed on him to the saving of his soul.
He had never believed on him.
He knew who he was, but he did not believe on him with his heart.
By the way, can I just tell you this right here, this distance?
That's the distance between heaven and hell.
This is the distance that stands between a man living forever with God in heaven and a man separated from God forever in hell.
Is this 10 to 12 inches that separates the head from the heart?
Many people may know who Jesus is, but they've never believed on him, for with the heart, man believeth unto righteousness.
Judas goes out, he's an apostate, by the way.
It's a prophecy all the way through the scripture that in the last days there will be wheat and tares in the church.
The enemy will sow tares among the wheat.
What is that?
It's a stalk of grain that grows up right next to a piece of wheat, a stock of wheat.
It looks exactly like the wheat.
It grows together with the wheat, gets to the same height as the wheat.
You can't tell them apart until it's the time of harvest.
And when the harvest comes, the tear has no fruit.
The wheat has grain, it has fruit.
Judas was a tear.
Judas was an imposter.
Judas was an apostate.
Judas was a non-believer.
Judas was a man who was going with Jesus because he wanted what he could get from Jesus, but he did not believe on him to the saving of his soul.
So he leaves.
And now Jesus is sitting in this room with eleven of his men who had professed that he was the Christ, the Son of the Living God.
They had believed on him.
Jesus is now sitting with his eleven.
And these men were going to be the foundation stones of the New Testament church.
First Corinthians 12, 28, God sent some of the church first apostles.
We are built upon the foundation of the prophets and the apostles.
Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone.
Don't ever think for a minute that Peter was the stone that Jesus built a church on.
Oh no.
When Jesus said upon this rock, he was not talking about Peter.
He was talking about himself.
You are Peter.
You are Petra.
You're a pebble.
I am Jesus, the rock.

We're going to go right back to Pastor Dean Miller and his sermon.
There were two people in that conversation.
Peter's going to say it in Acts chapter 4.
He was the stone.
He's going to say it again in 1 Peter chapter 2.
Ye are lively stones, but he's the living stone.
Ask Peter who the first leader of the church was, and he would tell you clearly, it was Jesus.
He couldn't have been the Pope anyway, because he had a mother-in-law.
You say, What does that mean?
He was married.
You ever heard of a man who had a mother-in-law without getting a wife?
No man would choose a mother-in-law without a wife.
You get the wife, you have to take the mother-in-law, okay.
Jesus was the rock.
Now listen, what am I saying?
Eleven of them sitting around the table.
Jesus looks at these eleven, and he gives them a new supper.
Not the Passover, but his supper.
He says, hey guys, I'm going to show you a new covenant.
This is my body that was broken for you.
This is the cup of my blood of the New Testament that was shed for you.
And he institutes a new supper that will be eaten.
Not the Passover, but the New Supper, not in the reflection of a lamb that was slain in Exodus, but a lamb that was slain now, broken body, and shed blood of Jesus Christ.
This is the new covenant.
Everybody understand that?
You understand that?
Jesus gives them this new covenant.
And then with his church, by the way, Judas was not part of that.
He was gone.
He was the apostate.
This Lord's supper is for believers.
It's for those who are part of the true church of Jesus Christ.
Who truly believed on him?
Now Jesus sits in John 14 and he gives them, he gives them an overview of church history.
He gives them a prophecy.
John 14 is a prophetic overview of church history.
Here's what he says.
I'm going away.
You're going to stay.
I'm going to come back and get you.
But until I come back and get you, I'm going to give you the Holy Spirit, and he's going to live in you.
And when the Holy Spirit lives in you, it'll be me living in you.
And then everywhere you go, you're going to be working my words.
And you're going to do greater works than I've done because you're going to be a little me everywhere you go, preaching the gospel, doing the words of Christ everywhere you go.
And then he says.
And you're going to love one another.
You're going to love one another in a new way.
It's a new commandment that I'm giving unto you that you're going to love one another, not as the world loves, and not with the world's love.
You're going to love each other with my love.
What's going to happen is I'm going to come into you and I'm going to.
Here's what Jesus said.
Jesus said, I love my church.
I love the church.
I'm going to give myself to the church.
I'm going to sacrifice myself.
I'm going to purchase that church with my own blood.
I love the church.
And I'm going to come into you.
And when I come into you, you're going to have my love in you.
Which means then, if I'm in you, you're going to love the way I love and who I love.
You're going to learn to love one another in a new way.
You're going to love them with my love.
You're going to love them sacrificially.
You're going to love them fervently.
You're going to love them with agape love.
You're going to know what it means to sacrifice and be stretched and to even lay down your life for the brethren.
You're going to know a love that the world does not know.
And you better have that love because he says in prophecy, the world's going to hate you.
Because I'm in you, they're going to hate you.
And they're going to hate you because they hated me.
They don't hate you because of you.
They hate you because I'm in you.
And if they hate you, it's because they hated me.
And if they crucified me, they'll shoot you.
They'll assassinate you publicly when you speak truth.
And they'll think they're doing God's business.
They'll put you in prison.
They'll limit your speech.
They'll take away your rights.
They'll try to close down your churches.
By the way, just watch what happened in Russia.
Look what happened in communist nations.
Look what's happened through the world.
The Bible has been banned and burned and discredited and mocked.
And yet, can I tell you, here it stands.
The church has been persecuted.
The church has been crushed.
The church has been mocked.
The church has been ridiculed.
The church has been made fun of.
The church has been ignored.
Our governor during COVID put the glorious church of Jesus Christ on page 16, down in the bottom of his document about COVID.
He put it down with trash and recycling services.
And he said it's not a non-essential.
And let me tell you something right now.
That's what Governor Polis thinks about the church.
That's what this world thinks about the church.
That's what that's what everyone believes that the church is a non-essential, but I'm going to tell you the true church of Jesus Christ.
He loves it.
He gave his life for it.
He sacrificed for it.
He dwells in it.
He purchased it with his own blood, and we ought to love it too.
So Jesus said, You're going to learn to love that church because the world's going to hate that church.
You're going to go through a lot of persecution.
You're going to go through a lot of trouble in the world.
You're going to have tribulation.
And then he said this, but be of good cheer.
Hey, guess what?
The world's going to hate you and you're going to really suffer a lot.
But be of good cheer.
I've overcome the world.
They're like, you have?
He said, Yeah.
In a little bit, the prince of the world's going to come.
Their king, their prince, their God, their head man, the Satan himself.
He's going to come.
And uh, but he has nothing in me.
He's not going to take my life.
I'm going to lay it down.
And I'm telling you this, he said in John 14, before it happens, so that when it happens, you'll know that I told you it was going to happen, so you'll know who I am.
He said, but that Satan's going to come.
Satan thinks he's going to get me.
Satan's going to put me into his trap.
He's right now in Judas.
He's going to betray me.
They're going to sell me off to the chief priest.
They're going to turn me over to the Romans for crucifixion.
They're going to crucify me to a cross.
You're going to see me die.
You're going to think that they have won.
But I want to tell you, that's just the serpent from Genesis chapter 3.
He slithered in.
He might bruise my heel, but I'm going to crush his head.
So let not your heart be troubled.
Then he says, Arise.
Let's go.
So they get up and they walk.
And as they're walking, maybe by a vineyard, maybe by the gate, I don't know where they're walking, but he says, hey guys, I'm the true vine.
I'm the true vine.
And my father is the husbandman.
Now what does he mean by that?
Here's what I believe.
I don't believe that he was talking about a specific vineyard.
I don't believe he's talking about the gates of the temple.
Here's what I believe.
Take your Bibles.
You're kind of looking a little sleepy on me right now, so we're going to let our fingers do some walking.
Run over to the book of Isaiah, chapter 5.
We're not going to be long.
We're almost, we're going to be done.
Remember, I told you we only got halfway through the introduction in the first service.
We're moving.
Isaiah chapter 5.
Now, if you're a note taker, while you're turning to Isaiah 5, if you're taking notes, write these in your notes.
Write these in the margin of your Bible.
Write these references down.
Proverbs, Psalms 80, verses 8 through 19.
Write down Jeremiah 2, 21.
Write down Ezekiel 19, 10 through 14.
Let me say these again.
Psalm 80, 8 through 19.
Jeremiah 2, verse 21.
Ezekiel chapter 19, verses 10 through 14.
And Hosea chapter 10 and verse 1.
Did you get those?
Proverbs 80, or Psalms 80, 8 through 19, Jeremiah 2, 21, Ezekiel 19, 10 through 14, Hosea 10 and verse 1.
They're all going to say, primarily what Isaiah is going to say in Isaiah 5.
Look at Isaiah 5.
Isaiah the prophet starts singing.
He sings a song to God, to Jehovah, to the I Am.
Here's his song.
Isaiah 5, verse 1.
Now will I sing to my well beloved a song of my beloved, touching his vineyard.
My well beloved hath a vineyard in a very fruitful hill.
So God has a vineyard, does he not?
And he's the husbandman.
He's the vine dresser of that vineyard.
And he fenced it and gathered it out of the stones thereof and planted it with the choicest vine.
Built a tower in the midst of it, and also made a wine press therein.
And he looked that it should bring forth grapes.
And it brought forth wild grapes.
And now, O inhabitants of Jerusalem and men of Judah, judge, I pray you betwixt me and my vineyard.
What could I have done more to my vineyard that I have not done in it?
Wherefore, when I looked that it should bring forth grapes, brought it forth wild grapes.
I mean, what could I, what more could I have done for this vine?
I put it in the best place.
I've given it everything it needed.
I've given it my life, my handiwork.
I have chosen this vine, and yet it did not bring forth fruit.
It brought forth wild grapes.
Glad you asked.
Verse 5.
And now go to, and I will tell you what I will do to my vineyard.
I will take away the hedge thereof, and it shall be eaten up, and break down the wall thereof, and it shall be trodden down.
I will lay it waste, and it shall not be pruned, nor digged, but there shall come up briars and thorns.
I will also command the clouds that they rain no rain upon it.
For the vineyard of the Lord of hosts is the house of Israel.

I'm your host, Craig James.
We're going right back to Pastor D. Miller's sermon.
And the men of Judah, his pleasant plant.
And he looked for judgment, but behold oppression for righteousness, but behold a cry.
What's he saying here?
The vine in the past was always a reference to Israel.
God had taken that vine out of Egypt.
God carried it off to Canaan.
He cleared away the stones.
He cleared the land.
He gave them a fertile land of milk and honey.
He gave them a fruitful place.
God planted Israel into that land.
God hedged them about.
He protected them.
He loved them.
He pruned them.
He was working with them.
But let me tell you what that vine was doing.
That vine was not growing towards God.
That vine was running its tendrils upon the ground.
It was not taking Israel, it was not taking its sustenance from God.
Israel was persisting itself on the things of this world.
It was living in a secular way.
It was taking on the secular forms of government.
It was taking on all of the things of this world.
Instead of giving God righteousness, they were giving God oppression.
Instead of giving God, instead of giving God justice, they were giving God a cry of rebellion against God.
Listen, so God had to judge them.
God had to bring the Philistines against them.
God had to bring other nations against them.
God afflicted them.
They would repent.
They would turn back to God.
God would begin to prune them and help them and give them, uh give them his grace.
And then what did Israel do?
They rebelled against them, so God uprooted them.
God put them into Babylon.
For 70 years, Israel was in Babylon.
Then God brought them back in and put them back into their land.
And there they were.
Until guess what?
Here come the Persians.
Here come the Romans.
Here come these other empires that occupy and take them over.
And Israel is in this vine of God is in a world where the walls are broken down and their enemies come in and the thorns and the thistles, and it's a life of pain.
They had to deal with people like uh like Hitler and Mussolini and the Holocaust.
They've had to deal with anti-Semitism around the world of people who hated Israel and hated the Jews.
And I want to tell you, there's a reason why this whole world has hated them.
They have been the people of God.
They're God's vine.
But even now in John 15, Jesus came to his own, and his own would not receive him.
And they were going to be cast away.
They were going to be put away.
And Jesus said to his disciples, I want you to know I am the true vine.
The true vine means that word true is the word that means the genuine, the original.
The only.
Jesus is the true vine.
Jesus is the root that came out of the dry ground.
Jesus was the very reason Israel existed to bring forth the Messiah.
It was prophesied in Genesis chapter 3.
I will put enmity between the seed of the woman and the seed of the serpent.
And that's why there's been a war in Israel's life from the very beginning.
They've always been at war.
And they have been a people who have been in rebellion to God over and over and over and over and over and over and over again.
Until God has finally said, I am setting them aside, and I'm going to do a new thing and a new supper and break my body and shed my blood for a new institution.
And that is the New Testament church.
Now let me tell you very quickly what I want to make this known.
In no way, shape, or form was God replacing Israel with the church.
God was not replacing Israel with the church.
In fact, you're looking a little sleepy again.
Go to Romans chapter 11, very quickly.
Romans chapter 11.
If you're still listening, say amen.
Okay.
So we're paying attention.
We're almost done.
Romans chapter 11.
I'm going to give you some practical things at the very end, and we're going to go home.
Romans chapter 11.
Now, in Romans chapter 11, Paul is writing the greatest expose on God's sovereignty.
Romans chapter 8, Romans chapter 9, Romans chapter 10, Romans chapter 11.
God lifts up nations, God brings nations down.
God is sovereign.
How many of you believe that?
You believe God is sovereign?
I believe that.
God is sovereign.
And God in his sovereignty chose Israel.
Why did he choose them?
He tells us over and over again in the Bible, I didn't choose you because you were special.
I chose you because I chose you.
And I chose you for this purpose.
That the whole world would be glorified and know me.
And so God chose them.
Now watch this.
Look at chapter 11, verse 11.
I say then, have they, Israel, stumbled that they should fall.
God forbid.
But rather, through their fall, salvation is coming to the Gentiles.
That's us.
To provoke them, listen to me.
To provoke them, Israel, to jealousy.
You know, listen.
Okay.
Jesus came to his own, his own received a knot.
So what did Jesus do?
Jesus set them aside.
They fell from him.
They set them aside and said, okay, Israel, you don't want your king.
The kingdom of heaven is at hand.
I've been preaching it.
I've been preaching it for three years.
The kingdom of heaven is at hand.
The king of heaven is at hand.
And you guys said no.
So I'm set I'm setting you aside, and I am turning here to the Gentiles, and I'm going to establish a new body and a new thing with the New Testament church.
And he said, watch this.
Because of their fall, we got salvation.
Hey, listen.
I'm grateful that Israel said no.
Because them saying no, I could say yes.
I have believed on Jesus.
Now I am saved.
Look at verse 12.
And by the way, he did that to provoke them to jealousy.
Verse 12.
Now, if the fall of them, Israel, be the riches of the world.
And the diminishing of them be the riches of the Gentiles, that God has diminished and scattered Israel.
If the diminishing of them be the riches of the Gentile, how much more their fullness?
Listen to me.
Listen to me.
Do you understand?
We get to now be the people of God.
We, those of us that are Gentiles, who God never made covenants with us.
God made no promises to us.
He listened we were not part of the covenant of the Old Testament.
We were strangers and aliens and foreigners.
We were outside of the promises of Israel.
But when Israel rejected Christ, guess what happened?
The stone that they rejected came down here to be the head of the corner of the church.
And he builds a glorious church and says, Whosoever will may come.
Some people really have a problem with predestination.
I'm just going to touch on this for just a minute.
I've never had a problem with it.
God is sovereign.
He can do what he wants.
God can do what he wants.
God knows all things and does all things.
God elects.
God chooses.
But don't ever forget that that's only half the story.
God in his predestination of salvation and God in his election of people to be saved.
Listen to me.
God's in that gave the plan that whosoever will may come.

You don't just get to say, Well, I'm chosen.
There's a time you have to choose.
You have to come.
The Bible says in Romans chapter 8, whom he did foreknow.
He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his son.
Don't miss that.
The predestination was the plan of salvation and the man of salvation.
The man of salvation is Jesus.
The plan of salvation is for you to be born again and made like him.
And that's predestined.
You cannot change that.
That's why Jesus said, I am the way.
I am the truth.
I am the life.
No man comes to the Father but by me.
Don't you think that you're going to go to heaven by baptism or by the Lord's Supper or by joining this church or by any other means of your good works.
You do not go to heaven by any of that.
You can't give enough money.
You can't do anything to go to heaven other than come to Jesus Christ.
It's predetermined.
He's the way, the truth, the life, no man comes.
There's no other name given among men whereby we must be saved.
That's predestined.
Now watch this.
When God predestined the man of salvation, Jesus, and the plan of salvation to conform us to his son.
Then Jesus turned and said, Whosoever will may come.
And you have to you have to come to Jesus Christ by faith.
And when you come to Jesus Christ by faith, guess what you can say?
I was predetermined before the foundation of the world.
I was chosen in Christ from the foundation of the world.
Why?
Because God chose the man of salvation, and so did you.
Now I've never had a problem with that.
Some people get all up in arms and get all get their brains like a bowl of spaghetti trying to figure it all out.
All I know is that God is God and I am me, and God did his part, and I gotta do my part.
I gotta come by faith.
Amen.
Alright, everybody with me so far.
So here's what God said.
God said, now watch.
God said this.
If you got all of these riches of salvation and the church, you got all of this through Israel's fall.
Imagine when they come into fullness.
Imagine what's gonna happen one day when Israel looks upon him whom they've pierced, the Bible says, and they say to him, Where did you get these wounds?
And he's gonna say, I was wounded in the house of my friends, and they're gonna repent and fall on their faces and say, Oh Lord, forgive us.
We receive you as our Lord and our Messiah.
And I'm gonna tell you something.
When that happens, Israel will be restored, and the and the whole world will be filled with his glory.
And you think it's good now?
Wait till they receive.
If we got good things when they reject it, wait till Israel receives.
So what Paul is saying here is that there is a thing to come with a Jew.
Look at verse number 15 very quickly.
For if the casting away of them, Israel, be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be but life from the dead?
The deserts are gonna bloom, lions are gonna lay down with lambs, children are gonna come home with snakes, the whole world's gonna be an incredible paradise.
Why?
Because the king of righteousness and the king of peace will be reigning in Jerusalem, reigning over the world, fulfilling the prophecy that of the covenant that he made to Abraham that in him all the world will be blessed, fulfilling the covenant that he made with Israel that they would occupy that land, having a fulfilling the covenant that he made to David that one of his sons would sit upon his throne.
And King D Jesus, the son of David, will sit on David's throne in that land, reigning over those people, and it'll be a time of millennia.
And you talk about blessing.
Let me tell you something.
I am blessed right now, but I cannot wait to be blessed like that.

So we're listening to a sermon from Pastor D. Miller, Front Range Baptist Church.
We're going to keep going with that and finish it up.
Let's listen.
That's what Jesus is teaching here.
Now watch this.
You need to understand.
That the Lord has not cast Israel off.
But he has started in these days the New Testament church.
This is the vine.
He's the true vine.
And watch.
You say, well, what does that have to do with us?
Look down here.
We're still in Romans chapter 11.
Look down here, watch this.
Verse 16.
For if the first fruit be holy, the lump is also holy.
But if the root be holy, so are the branches.
Who is the first fruit of Israel?
And who is the root of Israel?
Jesus.
And if he's holy, then the lump is holy.
And the fur and the if if the root is holy, the branches are holy.
Who's the root?
Jesus is the root.
Now watch this.
Verse 17.
And if some of the branches be broken off, Israel.
Thou, Gentile, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them and with them partakers of the root and fatness of the olive tree.
That's the Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.
Because of Israel's rejection, we have been grafted into the life of Jesus Christ, and now we are his glorious church with his life in us.
Now watch verse 20, and we'll stop right here.
Well, because of unbelief, they were broken off, and thou standest by faith, be not high minded, but fear.
Let me tell you something.
If God did not spare the natural branches, he will not spare us.
There was a danger in the New Testament church of no longer abiding for the purpose and the plan of Jesus Christ and being cut off from the plan.
You can read about that in Ephesians in the book of Ephesus and Revelation chapter 2.
The church of Ephesus was a church that they had good doctrine, they had all the things straight, they had a full calendar, they were laboring, they were serving, they were a church that was on fire at one time, they were a good church.
But then the Lord Jesus said, But I have something against you.
You left, not lost, you left your first love.
And instead of abiding in the vine, you have run your tendrils into the earth.
Now you're the church, but you're feeding off of earthly things and worldly things.
And you're going to bring forth wild grapes.
And here's what he said to the church.
Repent.
Or else I come quickly and remove my candlestick out of his place.
What does that mean?
What he's going to say is this.
If you don't abide in me and let you're not going to be the kind of church that I am, you're high-minded.
You're going to do your own thing and you're going to love yourselves and you love your church.
You love your love everything that you've got.
You love your buildings.
You love your budgets.
You love all the busyness of the church schedule.
You love all that you've become, but you don't have a relationship, an abiding relationship with Jesus Christ.
He said, That's not my church.
My church abides in me.
My church is, my sap, my life runs through my church, and it brings forth spiritual fruit of righteousness.
And if you don't do that, I'm going to cut that branch off.
Now he's not talking about losing your salvation.
We all know that a believer cannot lose their salvation.
The Bible makes that abundantly clear.
But he said, You will not be.
You will not be.
Here's what he's saying.
I'll take my candlestick.
In other words, you're not going to be my franchise.
You can operate in your own name, but you're not going to operate in my name.
You can operate in your power, but you can't operate in my power.
You can light your own light, but you're not going to operate in my light.
Listen to me.
That's a dangerous thing for a church.
So he's saying this.
I did not get rid of the Jews.
I did not, I don't despise the Jews.
They're my people.
But I've set them aside, and I'm going to work with my church.
And I'm going to come back one day and deal with those people.
They're going to go through a great tribulation.
The Jews are going to go through a time the Bible calls the time of Jacob's trouble.
Jesus is going to come and take his church out.
And then he is going to put the Jews through heavy tribulation.
He is going to, he's going to judge them righteously.
And in that time of judgment, Ezekiel chapter 38 and Ezekiel chapter 39, the whole world will turn against Israel.
It'll be the world versus Israel and God.
You say, now, Pastor, why are you saying this today?
I'm going to I'm going to close right now and I'm going to give you some practical things.
But listen very carefully.
There is a horrible apostasy that is beginning to sweep through the American church through the Trojan horse of conservatism.
And it's beginning to grow in this anti-Semitic hatred for Israel.
Now you hear me very quickly.
Listen, I'm going to make this, I'm going to make this as plain as I can.
Israel is an apostate nation.
If I were in Israel today, I would be preaching, I would be leading them to Christ and telling them to repent.
If I were a prophet in the old days, I would have preached against Ahab, and I would have told Israel that they were on there, they were on the wrong way, they were dishonoring God.
Israel is not untouchable in the fact that we cannot preach and warn and share the gospel and deliver them.
But listen to me.
You better understand.
Let me put the jelly on the bottom shelf.
God is not through with the Jew.
God has made unconditional covenants with Israel, and they stand, not because of Israel, but because of God.
Not because of their faithfulness, but because of his faithfulness.
You better be very careful as a church.
Listen, as a Christian, you better be very careful with this idea that's creeping in.
The Bible warned us not to be high-minded about this thing that God cast them off and God chose us.
That God is now using us You said, Don't you be high-minded, but you fear.
Because if God can do that with the natural branches, he'll do that with you too.
Don't you give this idea that you can just, you can just cast off what God has not cast off.
Look, look, look, look.
God has a plan for Israel.
And Israel needs to repent.
Israel needs to believe on Jesus.
Israel's in the darkness and Spiritual darkness.
And don't you think for a moment, don't you think for a moment that Satan is not at work against Israel and in Israel.
If you were Satan, what would you trying to be?
Listen, Satan has tried to thwart the plan of God since the beginning.
And he he lost at Calvary.
He Jesus crushed his back at Calvary.
And don't you think for a moment that Satan is not through.
Satan is working overtime and keeping.
The Bible says that the Jews are blinded.
They're blinded to God.
They're walking in ungodliness.
And the church is to be shining the light on that.
Not to be turning our backs on that.
We're to be provoking them to jealousy to tell them to believe on Christ.
Listen to me.
Let me tell you how you can bless Israel.
You can bless Israel as a Christian by two ways.
Number one, you can pray for them.
And the Bible commands you to do that, by the way.
To pray for them.
And number two, to share the gospel with them.
The sun has gone down.
That's the church's job.
God has not replaced them.
But God has set them aside, and God has grafted us into this vine of Jesus.

Let's finish up this sermon from Pastor Dean Miller.
So that his life will be in us, that we will become fruitful Christians, bearing fruit for Jesus Christ in this world.
And the Bible says in the last days that the church will fall away from sound doctrine.
The church will not give its ear to sound doctrine and to Bible preaching.
But they will keep to themselves Teachers having itching ears and will follow this idea of the world.
And I want to tell you, don't you listen, don't miss this.
Satan has tried to destroy that nation for a long, long, long time.
And he's still trying to do that today.
I don't agree with everything that Israel's doing.
But I agree with God.
I don't always support everything that they do, but I support God.
And I know that God has chosen that land and those people for his people.
And one day, he'll judge them and he'll bring fire down on them.
It's not for us.
Pray for them.
Preach the gospel.
Pray that God the gospel of Jesus Christ will go to them.
So, we're part of the church.
What is the church?
The church is a word that means it comes from the word ecclesia.
It means a called out assembly.
We've been called out of the world to assemble together with Jesus Christ.
And we are a church, listen, we are a church that is visible, it's organized, it's an assembly of baptized believers who have voluntarily joined together to carry out Christ's commission and Christ's command under the leadership of pastors and deacons.
It's a simple form of government.
It's all under the headship of Christ.
It's governed by the word of God, and we as believers are to allow the Lord's life to flow through us to be his glorious church in this world.
I love this because the Bible describes the church as the body of Christ.
It's a body.
We're members one of another.
Every member of my body is important to me.
If one of my members is hurting, the whole body's hurting.
If one member of my body was gone, it would affect my whole body.
That's the way it is with you.
Some of us, some of us see the church too cheaply.
We just were not as faithful and committed in the local church as we ought to be.
But you're members one of another.
You ought to be engaged and involved and committed, and you ought to be faithful to the church of Jesus Christ to be the member that God has called you to be, to do the things that God has called you to do in the church.
You're the body of Christ.
We're not just an assembly of people to come and to see a show and to hear a speech.
We're a body to assemble around the word of God to be edified and rebuked and reproved and exhorted to go do the work that Jesus Christ has sent us to do.
That's the New Testament church.
Not only that, it's the bride of Christ.
The church is the bride of Christ.
I love that.
Because we are set apart.
We are loved by him and we are to love him and we are to purify ourselves for him.
Why?
Because one of these days we're engaged right now.
One of these days we will be raptured up and caught up, and we will go to the marriage supper of the Lamb.
We will be married with the Lord.
That's an amazing thing.
By the way, can I just can I close with this?
The Old Testament is filled with these pictures.
Joseph, who is a great picture of Jesus Christ, comes to his brothers and tells his brothers, the children of Israel.
He tells his brothers, hey, guess what?
I'm going to deliver you one day.
And they said, Well, who?
You?
Look at this dreamer.
And so what they do, they wanted to kill him, but they sold him into slavery.
He goes to Egypt.
What happens to him in Egypt?
He goes to Egypt as a type of the world, the Gentile world.
When he goes to Egypt, he is believed upon in Egypt.
And he's elevated to a position of power and glory in the world.
And guess what happens in Genesis 42?
This one who came to his own and was not received by his own, but was cast out into the Gentile world.
Let me tell you what it does in Genesis 42.
He marries a Gentile bride.
He marries a Gentile bride.
And when he gets married, guess what happens?
Oh, buddy.
Guess what happens?
His brothers, the Jewish people, go under heavy tribulation.
They go under famine.
Nothing to eat.
So much that they have to come to Egypt.
And where do they come?
They come to this man and they realize they look upon him who they rejected and sold and they look at him and they repent.
And what does he do?
He moves them into the land of Goshen and he reigns over them with his bride.
Moses was a man who came to the Jews and said, God has sent me to deliver you.
And they said, You?
And they rejected him.
Moses went 40 years to the Gentile world.
While he was down in Midian in the Gentile world, he married a girl named Zipporah, a Gentile girl.
While he was away with his Gentile bride, all hell broke loose in the land of Egypt.
They're a new Pharaoh came in, the type of the Antichrist, puts the Jews under heavy taskmasters.
The weight of the world comes down on them, crushes them.
He takes away all of their ability to get straw and he doubles their workload, And they are under heavy persecution.
And here comes Moses and his Gentile bride.
He comes back in and he delivers them from that land and he takes them and rules over them.
The Bible is filled with illustrations of Jewish leaders that came to their own, not received by the own.
In their rejection, married Gentile brides came back in a time of tribulation and ruled over the people.
And then here comes Jesus.
He comes to his own, his own receive him not.
And he goes rejected from the Jews.
He comes to the Gentiles.
Here he is gathering together his glorious Gentile church, his bride.
He will catch us away.
We'll be married with him while we're away at the wedding.
The Antichrist is coming.
And great tribulation is coming upon the earth, upon the Jews specifically, and all the Gentile nations who've rejected Christ.
This world's going to go through tribulation like it's never seen.
Like it's never seen.
And bursting forth in glorious day, Jesus Christ will come on a white horse, and we will be riding with him in our robes of white, like we've been to a wedding.
We'll be coming back with Jesus, and he's going to war.
He is going to wage war on the Antichrist and all of his armies.
He will conquer.
He will go into the eastern gates.
He will go up into Zion.
He will sit on David's throne in the land of Israel.
And he will fulfill the covenant to Abraham, to Israel, and to David, all in one.
And guess what happens?
He rules over them.
And guess what we do?
We reign with him.
You're looking at a king and a priest.
You can just call me King Dean.
You can choose it, eh?
Saint Dean or King Dean, but I'm both of them.
Amen.
Somebody said to me, Why are we going to wear white?
That's a terrible thing to wear to a war.
Listen to me.
We're not going to war.
We're going to watch.
When you're riding behind King Jesus, you don't have to lift a thing.
He's got a sword in his mouth.
One word, he'll take them out.
And he's going to reign.
So, church, what do we do?
Here's the practical things.
What do we do?
We, as the people of God, in the church of Jesus Christ, we abide in the vine.
We're going to talk about that in subsequent weeks.
We're going to abide in the vine.
We're going to really understand the life of Jesus Christ in us.
We're going to stop growing leaves.
We're going to let God prune the useless energies of our life into true fruitfulness for Jesus Christ.
Fruits of righteousness, fruits of love, joy, peace.
Let me ask you a question.
Do you have peace?
I'm talking about in your inner man.
Do you have peace deep down in your heart?
When you lay in your bed at night alone, do you have peace?
You can't have that of yourself.
You can't have that of this world.
You can't have enough money and have peace.
Let me tell you where you get peace.
You get peace through one thing, and that is through Jesus Christ alone.
He gives you peace, forgiveness, makes you his.
You abide in that vine, and he makes your life fruitful.
I am the true vine.
If you've never been to Jesus Christ, you need to come to him today.
Say an everlasting yes to Jesus today.
Let him put you into the vine.
Let him give you his life.
Let him grow his fruit through you.
Belong to him.
I hear people say oftentimes, do you have a personal relationship with Jesus?
I really don't like that question because everybody has a personal relationship with Jesus.
Some people's relationship with Jesus is in rebellion.
You need to be born again.
My question to you is not do you have a personal relationship with Jesus, but do you have his life?
If any man be in Christ, he's a new creature.
Old things passed away, behold, all things become new.
I used to ask people all the time, do you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ?
I stopped asking that question, and I say this.
Does Jesus Christ live in you?
If not, he can today.
Father, I thank you for your people.
I thank you for their patience today.
Boy, we went around the world in this introduction, but I pray that in the next few weeks, as we understand abiding and pruning and cleansing and trimming and fruit bearing, that God, we would be a church faithful for Jesus Christ in these days.
That we would be abiding church.
We would be a glorious church.
We'd be a church that is alive, bearing fruit and more fruit and much fruit.
Lord, I pray that you'll speak to your people.
Our heads are about, our eyes are closed.

And you know, I'm very thankful that we were able to listen to it because, you know, for me, as I said before.
There are a lot of things that we have to understand when it comes to Israel, and I'm trying to humble myself to know that I don't know God's will.
Um all the time, obviously we know God's will in many ways for our lives and what's written in scripture, but oftentimes we don't know his plan, I should say.
And uh yeah, so I like that sermon.
I hope that spoke to you as well.
And uh I hope that uh yeah, these words truly do speak to you wherever you are.
And we'll keep going though with the news because that's where we're at, right?
And a couple stories to get into here today that I thought were interesting.
One in particular is what's happening over at InfoWars.
It sounds like they are officially gonna be finally shutting their doors because of the lawsuit that came through.
It sounds like a judge has ruled that yes, the sale of InfoWars will go through, which means that they're going to take that entity and I guess turn it over to the onion.
I I don't know exactly who's going to be taking control of that.
But when you look at it, it just it's it's so funny how this is all gonna go down, where they're gonna take the onion and turn it into perhaps like a satirical website or take the onion, they're gonna take InfoWars and try to turn it into a satirical website kind of like the Union, and they're gonna use it to deceive people.
Wow.
Interesting.
And they're pretty open about that.
I mean, they've been talking about it for a while, so um I looking at the whole thing, kind of thinking to myself, this is gonna be clearly another sort of layer of deception that's gonna be laid on top of the truth surrounding a lot of the stories that have been covered by Alex Jones, InfoWars et al.
for the over the years.
And in even as much as they're gonna do that, they're gonna even try to do it, I think, as Alex has put out in a way that will seek to sort of plant and sow the seeds of doubt amongst people who newly find InfoWars, right?
Which will be an interesting sort of dynamic that will be created there, meaning if there was some story that was seed that that was told by Alex Jones or the InfoWars crew as a whole, at some point historically, as we know,
we go back and people often say, Oh, Alex Jones was right again, um, they'll be able to undermine that and to create to sow a doubt of unsurety and undermine the credibility of it by now having that site be associated with some satirical fake lies, because I mean that's what it's gonna become, it seems.
So I can understand why Alex Jones is pretty ticked off.
Because it is going to be uh a net detriment.
And you know, Alex InfoWars without Alex Jones, let's be honest, is you know like I can't think of a good example.
It's like it's like uh a pumpkin pie without the pumpkin filling.
You know, it's it's not much.
It's just a uh a dry, crumbly crust, right?
And I don't mean that as an of I'm not trying to throw shade or offend, you know, Harrison Smith or Owen Troyer or Rob Dew or any of the other guys that have been working over there for years, but I think they would even admit that though.
I don't think they would be offended by that.
I think they would be like, yeah, that's a good analogy.
But even so, again, it's a psy-op to take the name and associate it with um, you know, falsehoods so that then it can undermine anything that was done historically.
Rather clever in the information war as it is as it is.

I'm your host, Craig James, and we're gonna keep going here on just trying to hit some of the big stories of the last uh few days.
What's happening in Portland is really something to behold.
It looks like it's just continuing to get further and further out of hand.
Um reporter, journalist, you know, social media guy, I don't know, whatever you want to call him, Nick Sorter, has been on the ground there facing these people head on, and one of the things that you kind of see very clearly as you watch the everything unfold is this phenomena where you know we've normalized lawlessness in this country.
And people have really come to believe that you know free speech and the free you know right to protest means that they can, you know, commit acts of violence and break every law in the books with impunity,
and and in many cases, either this the local and state government is condoning it, or they're turning a blind eye to it, or they're too threatened to do anything about it.
And that seems to be the case in Portland, Oregon.
I mean, what we're watching happen are Antifa militants marching through the streets, committing crimes.
Um whether it's as petty as a misdemeanor jaywalking crime, or it's as you know, vicious as you know, assault, battery, theft.
You have to enforce the law.
And what's crazy is that we're finding out that the local police are absolutely working at the behest of the mob.
So what again has happened here is you've had the police force infiltrated by radical leftists who support the communist foot soldiers marching through the streets.
So a guy like Nick can get viciously beaten, assaulted, and robbed, and yet he's the only one who's been arrested at this point, it seems for trying to defend himself from this mob.
And you kind of have to sit back and think, okay, well, what's going on in Portland?
I've heard some crazy things.
You know, these are obviously speculative, so take it with a grain of salt.
I've heard that, you know, Portland is sort of a place where anything from you know organ harvesting has been a big deal on the international or you know, trade, you know, black market trade for that to, you know, the similar to what they were doing with the Haight Ashbury district in in, I think around in and around San Francisco during the 70s.
I mean, they were the CIA was funding, you know, seemingly the LSD experimentation there, you know, and they were doing a lot of fomenting of anti-war protests protests to you know act as ways to steer public opinion.
Not only that, I mean you have Timothy Leary who may or may not have been an asset of the CIA or whoever, you know, distributing and this you know, LSD acid and the ideology that that was pushing you know, hippieism as it was, or whatever it was.
And there were some like nefarious forces behind all of that, which are sort of dark and seedy and and ominous, but perhaps similarly what what we're seeing in Portland is something uh uh happening at that level.
I mean, what it's the thing that I always find interesting about all of this is that you know, when you say something like that, you're immediately sort of cast as a conspiracy theorist, a wacko, a loony who's you know speculating beyond what is known.
And if history is a set of patterns that if you recognize correctly, you may be able to predict the future to with a certain degree of certainty, uh then all you're doing is say is extrapolating from, well, they did this, well, why wouldn't they do this?
And I don't know that that's the case, obviously.
It just seems like there's something off in Portland, and it's it's not just a byproduct of these liberals, because I mean it is in a way, but I I feel as though there's far more nefarious forces at work there, right?
Demonic, of course, in many ways, that would be the easy that would be the easiest way to describe it, but even beyond the spiritual forces at work there, there's some sort of dark entity working there, otherwise it wouldn't be this bad.
And I mean, I don't know how we're going to get through these people, really, at the end of the day.
I don't think that they are capable of understanding...
Coherent logical arguments against what they believe because they're so ideologically dogmatic and zealous that they have Little to no capability at this point of even accepting um any fact that would uproot their world view.
Cognitive dissonance being the main driver, but it's again it's a dogma.
It's a zealotry, it's a it's a you know um it's an ideological you know religion.
The religion is the rainbow flag and self-worship and you know the worship of pleasure and um you know uh do what thou wilt will be the law of the land, that was Alistair Crowley, I believe, who was saying that.
Um it's a satanic sort of religion that they worship and they believe in.
So to break them out of it, I mean you'd have to really show them the air of their ways, but they can't see it because they're stuck in it.
And and a lot of it is opportunism, you know, opportunistic, as I should say, when you look at some of the people involved in these things.
I mean, I'm watching these videos, and what's clear and apparent is a lot of these people are very they're zonked out drug addict, homeless people who are just opportunistically in joining themselves within these, you know, um groups to then go and you know uh get whatever.
I mean, a lot of these people they say are paid.
Well, if you're a homeless person with nothing to lose, then yeah, if somebody says I'll give you, you know, fifty bucks a day to go for your heroin or your crack or your whatever your drug of choices, your meth, you can go stand in the street, put this mask on, scream at these people, you know, we want to give you free stuff, we're trying to protect you.
So, yeah, of course, that's there's an element of that, too.
That de and in that way it's like democrat policies denigrate a society so deeply so far, that then opportunistically those who have been destroyed by the government governing you know forces that have been in control for decades believe that you know are conditioned to believe that they're gonna get some sort of recompense by enjoining themselves further with these you know political
forces, which end up using them as useful idiots in their you know broader ideological war that they're waging the communist revolution, quote unquote, that they're trying to pull off.
So I don't know.
I I watch it I think it's good that we're sending in the troops, but to a degree they want the visual, that's why they're out there in the street committing the violence to um antagonize and to uh get the response to elicit the response so they can frame it and use it for political gain, which is sick and and it's a broken system we have here.

And another thing to sort of point out with regard to Portland is that Trump's been trying to send troops in there.
He's been facing a bit of pushback, particularly from a Trump and a judge that he himself appointed.
Judge Karen Immergut has now for the second time on Monday blocked President Trump from sending troops to quell the violence in Portland, Oregon.
So apparently, uh basically the ruling is about moving troops from other states into Portland, Oregon.
And I don't know what this judge is why they've decided to take this position necessarily as much as it is the fact of the case.
But you can imagine at this point that it's the same in any state where Trump's trying to bring, you know, law and order.
You're getting pushback from these Democrats.
And I think we all know at this point what the agenda is, why Democrats want lawlessness, you know, why they they themselves are criminals, so of course they want to legalize crime.
And you know, the more you can destroy society, the more power government has the society becomes more dependent on government.
Right?
If you can, you know, crush the family, if you can, you know, make people uh you know atomize people to make them, you know, dependent on themselves only and no with no family, with no friends, with no you know, sense of community, then they become wards of the state, the state gets more power.
The Democrats come in with every solution, which is spending the money of others for people who do not want to contribute.
And I'm not saying that we shouldn't have social, you know, welfare net to a degree for people who can't, and I think that's but it becomes a system that is abused time and again, and so it's this vicious cycle where you know Democrats get elected because they've promoted the policies that destroy family, that destroy communities, and then those communities become further.
I mean, you see it in any like quote unquote deep blue state.
We live in one.
Look at what's happening in Denver.
I mean, it is it's disgusting cesspool.
I mean, unless you're quite wealthy, unless you live in you know, Jared Polis' neighborhood up in Boulder.
I'm sure then it's clean and nice.
I mean, that's what my friends on the Boulder and the Boulder Police Department tell me, you know.
Oh, well, Jared Polis' neighborhood's beautiful.
His part of town's clean and safe and nice.
But you know, if you take your family down Pearl Street or to Union Station, you might get stabbed with a dirty syringe by a homeless man.
You know.
Or you might get, you know, mugged by an illegal immigrant.
Or you might just get murdered for no reason because somebody's having a psychotic breakdown in the streets.
Right?
And I mean, for me on a personal level, I it's sad because although I'm not a Colorado native, I kind of spent a large part of my youth in Colorado.
You know, I I have family here that's been here for a very long time, and I used to spend, you know, time out here every year.
I grew up, as you know, I've said in South Florida, but I used to spend you know a good amount of time here, maybe summers or whatever.
And it's just a different place than what I grew up in.
It's a different uh state, it's a different city.
Uh Denver's different, you know.
Boulder's different.
They're dirty, they're unsafe, they're unclean, they're full of criminals.
Full of you know, mentally ill people who need help who aren't getting it.
The help they're getting is oh, hey, let's legalize drugs so you can go shoot up heroin in the middle of the street, because that's going to make your life better.
Let's make pot legal.
Everybody get high with this ridiculously high THC level strains of marijuana that induce psychosis.
That's a good idea.
Hey, let's legalize mushrooms so you can you know pop hallucinogenics and and run around the streets talking to imaginary bunnies.
That's gonna make our society safer.
Hey, let's let's let's decriminalize crime.
Because that's going to make our community safer and and our but you know what, and then meanwhile, let's let's promote degeneracy.
Let's elect a degenerate governor.
Let's, you know, in let's make sure that your kids are taught about being transgender at at in secret sex clubs at schools when they're you know 10 years old and eight years old.
Because that's going to make our our community so much better, so much more vibrant, so much more safer and good.
And they can't help themselves, but to take that which is good and destroy it.
And of course, you know, naive gullible kids are gonna like eat this stuff up and think they're a part of some you know community because they've been brainwashed by the media into believing that everything that's bad for them is actually cool and good.
And you have adults that have generationally been raised by parents who believe these lies, and now they are instilling them in the next generation.
So yeah, yeah, we have a little bit of a problem here in Colorado.
And it's a problem that we're seeing in Portland, and it's a problem we're seeing in Chicago, and it's a problem we're seeing in New York, and it's a problem we're seeing in Austin.
It's a problem we're seeing in every place, you know, um California, Los Angeles, you name it, pretty much every liberal blue city there.
So, yeah, yeah, we have some issues we gotta figure out.
But you know how you figure it out, you go back to Christ.

And you know.
One thing I try to remind myself, and and maybe this will help you as well, is how we should see the world and especially those who act against us, right?
What what are what are our our ethics supposed to look like?
And there's a great summary of it in Romans chapter twelve, verse nine through twenty-one.
It says this.
Love must be without hypocrisy.
Detest evil, cling to what is good.
Show family affection and what you you bless and do not curse.
Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep.
Be in agreement with one another.
Do not be proud.
Instead, associate Friends, do not avenge yourself instead, leave room for his wrath.
For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me.
I will repay, says the Lord.
But if your enemy is hungry, feed him.
If he is thirsty, give him some.
Do not be conquered by evil, but comfortable with good.
And that's what I'm going to try to do.
That's what I'm that's how I'm going to try to live my life.
I'm going to try to remind myself everyone.
And if you want strength to be able to do that, the ultimate way to do it is to find a relationship with Jesus Christ if you don't have one.
If you don't have a relationship, open your heart, say a prayer, call upon his name, accept him as your Lord and Savior, and let him come into your heart and do great things.
