The truth.
It is the middle ground between light and shadow, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge.
This is just Informed Talk Radio, where we are not ashamed of the gospel because it is God's power for salvation to everyone who believes.
One thing, I don't know why.
It doesn't even matter how hard you try.
Keep that in mind and design this line to explain it due time.
Oh, I know.
Time is a valuable thing.
Watch it fly by as the penalty.
Watch and countdowns at the end of the day.
The clock ticks life away.
Watch the sun go right out the window.
Trying to hold on, but you didn't even know.
Was it enough to watch you go?
I count everything inside.
And even though I tried, welcome to another Justin Forum Talk Radio show.
I'm your host, Craig James.
Hope you guys had a great weekend.
We got a lot to cover in today's show.
We're going to get right to it.
But as you know, on Monday every week, in the first hour, we listen to a sermon from Pastor Dean Miller from over the weekend from Front Range Baptist Church right here in Fort Collins, Colorado.
So today is no different.
We're going to go right to it, and then we will get into the news a little bit later.
But here is Pastor Dean's Dean Miller's sermon, Youth Does Not Have to Be Wasted.
Let's listen in.
Let's listen in.
In just a second, let me get this pulled up for you.
Here you go.
I know what kind of sinners you are.
You're just like me, but I know what kind of savior he is.
Amen.
Ecclesiastes chapter 11.
Thank you, Doc Risma.
I love Lord's Supper Sundays.
And I thank the Lord for the opportunity to celebrate the Lord's Supper and to observe it with you and to have our hearts living worthy of Jesus Christ.
That's what it means to live, to eat the bread, and to drink the cup worthily.
Is that what we're living for is worthy of Christ dying for it?
Ecclesiastes chapter 11.
I want to speak these next few moments on how to not waste our youth.
And I want to make sure that everyone in this room knows what the Bible says about our lives and the days of our lives as Solomon has been trying to figure out why his life was so empty.
Solomon lived in vanity.
And what a waste of a life.
He's an old man.
He has more power, more pleasure, more prosperity than any man ever lived.
And yet, Solomon said, I cannot find meaning in life.
I cannot buy meaning in life.
I cannot enjoy meaning in life in any way.
In fact, one of the saddest verses in the Bible, Ecclesiastes 2:17, therefore I hated life.
Solomon looked back over his life and he's trying to figure out why life is so empty and vain.
And I believe that Solomon looked back at some things of his youth.
Remember, David prayed at one time.
His father David prayed, Lord, remember not the sins of my youth.
And so he goes back to his youth.
Look at chapter 11, verse number 7.
Truly, the light is sweet and a pleasant thing.
It is for the eyes to behold the sun.
But if a man live many days and rejoice in them all, yet let him remember the days of darkness, for they shall be many.
All that cometh is vanity.
Solomon said, Look, if you go out inside and enjoy the sun and the days are bright, that's wonderful.
But it's not always sunshine and no darkness.
There are days of darkness coming in your life.
And if you just go out and try to enjoy the days of sun and endure the days of darkness, you're going to get to the end of your Life and say, what was the point?
What was the point?
So now Solomon's going to start teaching here.
He's going to start applying some of the things that he's learned.
Look at verse number nine.
He says, rejoice, O young man.
He's talking to the youth.
Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth, and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart and in the sight of thine eyes.
But know thou that for all these things, God will bring thee into judgment.
Therefore, remove sorrow from thy heart and put away evil from thy flesh, for childhood and youth are vanity.
Remember now, thy creator, in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them.
Solomon's saying, Now, listen, young people, you better get this down, and you better get this in your heart.
There's some things that you better know if you want to escape my fate.
The richest, most powerful man in the world who can buy every pleasure I've ever had.
If you're going to escape my fate of a life of vanity, you better get some things settled in your youth.
Because the evil days are coming.
He's not talking about just sinful days.
He's talking about days of injury, days of harm, days where there is affliction.
And he's going to write about that.
I don't know of a better description of old age in my life than in Ecclesiastes chapter 12 and verse 3 because I'm starting to experience some of these.
Some of you are experiencing some of these.
See if you can identify with them.
Look at verse number 3.
In the days, he's talking about the days of the evil.
Ready?
In the days when the keepers of the house shall tremble.
What is that?
That's when our hands begin to shake.
The keepers of the house begin to tremble.
Then he says in verse 3, and the strong men shall bow themselves.
You ever notice as we get older, our legs start walking bow-legged and the back bends over.
The hands are trembling.
The strong men are bowed.
And then he says in verse 3, and the grinders cease because they are few.
What is that?
That's our teeth.
Our teeth are few.
As we get older, they start falling out.
Then you start getting partials.
And then you go to dentures.
And then you say, off fooey on that.
I'll just gum it to death.
And the grinders cease.
And then he says, and those that look out the windows be darkened.
What is that?
You start going blind.
You can't see.
As you get older, you start tromboning everything.
You know, we all become trombone players, trying to figure out how to see something because we're going blind.
Then he says in verse number four, and the doors shall be shut in the streets, and the sound of the grinders is low.
What is that?
You can't hear.
You start going deaf.
You just, everything starts getting, you know, what did you say?
Huh?
Can you, you're mumbling.
I heard about a lady one time, went to the doctor and said, Doc, my husband won't go to the doctor, and I know that that guy's deaf as he can be, and he won't do anything about it, but he doesn't hear a thing I say.
The doctor said, Well, we need to know how severe that is, so go home, get about 20 feet behind him, and say something.
If he doesn't respond, get a little closer, say something, he doesn't respond, get a little closer, say something until you get right, and mark how close you are when he hears you.
She said, Okay.
So she went home.
He was doing something in the kitchen counter, and she got behind him.
She said, Walter, can you come here, please?
And he didn't respond.
She got a little closer.
Walter, can you come over here, please?
He didn't respond.
She said, Good night.
This guy's deaf.
She got up here.
Walter, can you come here, please?
He didn't respond.
She got right up behind him.
She said, Walter, can you come here, please?
He said, Sweetheart, I answered you four times.
I got to finish this first.
And the problem was, she couldn't hear.
But that's going to happen to all of us.
We're going to go deaf as we get older.
Then he says, in verse 5, he says, or verse 4, but even though we're blind and we can't hear, we rise up at the sound of a little bird.
All of a sudden, the bird starts chirping outside.
We're wide awake.
You get older.
You're popping awake at 4:30 in the morning, and you're all wide awake, and you got nowhere to go.
And you can't go there fast.
And so you just sit around the house.
But then he says, in verse 4, he says, and the daughters of music shall be brought low, when they shall be afraid of that which is high.
Amen.
As you get older, heights begin to, you can't get up on the stepstool anymore.
I remember when I was younger, my kids were at home.
Man, I decorated the house for Christmas every year.
A Friday after Thanksgiving, I was up on the ladder on the house, putting lights up on the house, and I was happy and ready to go.
Last year, I jumped up on my house, went up the ladder, I got to the gunner, and I thought, what in the Lord's name am I doing up here?
And I got down and I said, Pastor Lou, get over here.
And so, and calling those that are younger.
But here he says, we're getting older.
Now listen to me.
We're all going that way.
The Bible says, he says in verse number 7, then shall the dust return to the earth as it was, and the spirit shall return to the God who gave it.
Listen to me.
Look, I don't care how old you are.
I don't care how young you are.
We're all going the same journey.
Young people, you see an older man in the store, and he's kind of moving slow, and you're thinking, man, why are you so old?
Why are you in my way?
That young man used to carry a machine gun and run through the jungles of Vietnam, strong and scrappy, and they were tough.
But time and age, it happens to us all.
So what are we going to do in our youth?
What are we going to do when we're young?
That's what Solomon's saying.
You say, well, I'm not young.
How many of you are raising children right now?
You've got children in your home.
You've got children in your home.
Okay, good number of us.
How many of you have grandchildren?
You've got grandchildren.
All right.
Okay.
And there's some of you in-betweeners where you don't have kids at home.
You don't have grandkids yet.
You're just living wild and free.
Well, the days come and you're going to have some grandkids.
But this is instruction for us.
This is instruction for us about the youth and how not to waste the time of our youth.
Remember that scene in the movie, It's a Wonderful Life?
George Bailey is talking to Mary and he's holding his pants up because they had just gotten the pool and he had the old football pants on that were too big.
And he's talking to her and she's saying, oh, George, lasso the moon and bring it down.
And they're just going back and forth and back and forth.
And he's like, huh?
You want me to lasso that moon for you, Mary?
And remember that old man on the porch and he says, kiss her already.
And he's like, how's that?
Kiss her already.
Ah, youth is wasted on the wrong people.
All right, we'll be back.
Stay tuned.
Joshua 24, 15 says, choose you this day whom you will serve.
And 1 Kings 18, 21 asks, how long will you waver between two opinions?

We're going right back to Pastor Dean Miller and his sermon from Front Range Baptist Church.
Let's listen in.
Hold on one second.
Of course.
All right, well, you're going to have to give me a second to find where we're at because, of course, I clicked the wrong button.
And, you know, I love technology.
So let's go ahead and try to find exactly where we are at.
Something in the kitchen counter, and she got behind him.
She said, Walter, can you come here, please?
And he didn't respond.
She got a little closer.
Walter, can you come over here, please?
He didn't respond.
She said, Good night.

Walter, can you come here, please?
He didn't respond.
She got right up behind him.

And he's like, huh?
You want me to lasso that moon for you, Mary?
And remember that old man on the porch and he says, kiss her already.
And he said, How's that?
Kiss her already.
Ah, youth is wasted on the wrong people.
That's what he says.
And you know what?
As we get older, we realize that there were some days of our youth that we did not take advantage of.
I remember my father, my dad married my mom.
He was 18.
She was 16.
Both of them were raised in very broken homes.
My dad was a heavy drinker.
They got married young and they began to have children.
By the time they were 26 years old, my dad was 26.
My mom was divorcing my dad.
She was expecting their fourth baby.
My mom had that baby, and that baby was born in April of 1965 with a hole in his heart.
He lived for a month and a half in the hospital.
He died.
My mom and dad were broken.
My dad had a man at work share the gospel with him.
Bill Wickham led my dad to Christ, led my mother to Christ.
They began to restore their home and their marriage and the family.
After a couple of years, God called my daddy to preach.
My dad moved to Denver, Colorado, and one of the greatest things outside of being saved happened to them.
They had me.
And I grew up in a godly home in a Christian home.
But I can still remember as a little boy riding down the road.
My dad would have gospel music playing in the car.
My dad was driving, and I can remember the grief on his face, and I can still remember the groan in his heart and the tear in his eye when dad, there was a hymn that would come on.
And the hymn, the words to it were, wasted years, wasted years.
Oh, how foolish.
I remember my dad with tears in his eyes thinking, I wasted years of my life pursuing sin.
Solomon's going to give us some wisdom here on how to avoid that.
What do we need to do?
This is sound advice for young people and for young parents and for those who have influence in their grandchildren's lives.
What is it?
Number one, he says to the young people, first of all, rejoice.
Rejoice in your youth.
Look at verse number nine.
Rejoice, oh young man, in the day or in thy youth.
Listen, rejoice that you're young and that you've got vigor and vitality and vision and the light is shining.
But he's saying here to rejoice.
Why?
Because to rejoice is a choice.
You can always wake up angry and despondent and bitter and unforgiving and mad at the world and with no drive.
Or you can rejoice.
The Bible says this is the day the Lord hath made.
I will rejoice and be glad in it.
Rejoice in the Lord always.
And again, I say, rejoice.
Listen, you need to rejoice.
Life is precious.
You're only young once.
And you've got a life and vitality.
And that's why the Bible says that it's good to bear the burden, the yoke in your youth.
Learn to use that strength and bridle that strength for things that you can grow in and build on in your future life.
But embrace what he's saying here is be happy that you're young and rejoice that God has given you life and youth and don't squander it.
Don't waste it.
Use it.
There's going to be plenty of days of darkness in your life, but you can still rejoice in the life that you have.
Now, listen, parents, look at me.
This does not mean that we have to go out of our way to create some youthful utopia for our kids.
I think there's so much that we're trying to do to manage our kids' happiness that we are robbing them of the innocence of childhood.
I mean, kids are going to dance.
They're going to this thing.
They're going to that thing.
They got schedules to keep.
And it's a wonder why our kids are having an increase in anxiety and depression and all that kind of stuff.
I mean, when are they just free to go outside, play with a stick?
And play in the backyard and use their imaginations.
And how many of you remember when you were a little kid doing all kinds of things wild and free?
Man, moms and dads now got kids so scheduled out.
The kids eight, they're having a nervous breakdown.
I got to go to school.
I got to be at this.
I got to go to that.
I got a beauty pageant at 10.
I got soccer practice at 8.
I got to be at this thing.
And man, kids are all scheduled out.
Moms and dads are just shuttling everybody around.
Who has time to be a family?
Where's the rejoicing in it?
And we're just rushing them through to the rest of their life.
There's going to be a day when all of those heaviness things of life come on you.
Rejoice in your youth.
We're robbing our kids of childhood today.
We need to let them have childhood that's enjoyable, innocent, carefree.
Man, I remember building go-karts with my brothers and riding down the road.
Listen, we didn't have a helmet.
We didn't know what a helmet was.
Our safety net was my brother at the end of the street who was going to, if a car was coming, was going to wave vigorously and tell us to bail out.
And if he wasn't paying attention, we were dead.
I mean, I look back at the things, I can't believe we survived.
My brother Charles, 10 years older than me, he wanted to fly so bad.
He built an airplane out of plywood and wood and built this airplane.
I mean, it actually had working ailerons and elevators or whatever.
He worked on this thing for two weeks.
He stole the wheels off my little red wagon and stuck them on this airplane.
Then he and my brother got that thing up on the roof of our house.
And our house had a pitch down like this.
The driveway went down.
There was a big tree in the corner of our yard.
And if he could get around that thing, he could fly down the hill because it was a gradual slope.
And he wasn't really going to fly.
He was just going to fall with style all the Way down to the end of the hill.
That's what he thought he could do.
And so we get that thing up there.
He's got the chucks under the wheels.
We're on the very pitch of the house.
And my brother said, all right, little Dean, you're little and light.
Get in the plane.
You're going to be the passenger.
So I got in the past.
I was the passenger.
My sister Brenda was all of like 60 pounds as a teenage girl.
She was going to be the flight attendant.
She was tall and skinny, and she had a little tray.
I remember for you.
She had a tray of little juice cups on there.
She was going to serve those on the flight to me and the captain, my brother.
And my brother Matt was the ground crew.
My brother said, okay, we're all cleared, ready for takeoff.
My brother Matt moved those chucks out from underneath that wheel.
We started rumbling down that hill.
I still remember.
We're bouncing down that hill.
And I think that thing would have gone really good had he not forgotten about the gutter on the edge of the house.
When those wagon wheels hit that gutter, we nosedive to the driveway.
We crashed and burned at that thing.
And I survived a plane crash in my life.
I had juice all over me.
My sister was crying.
My brother said, Are you hurt?
She goes, no, I didn't get to serve the Jews.
But man, we had all kinds of, you know why?
We weren't in there just exercising our thumbs on a video game.
We weren't running to every kind of beauty pageant under the sun.
We had a carefree, we were building ramps and jumping stuff.
And since I was the baby of the family, I was always the one that had to lay down to see if they could jump over me.
And they would clear me out all the time.
My mother went to, my mother went to England.
It was a trip of a lifetime for her.
She came back, and my mother had a, I call it an umbrella, but it was a parasol, a parasol or something like that.
It was pink and lacy, had sterling silver handle, and she loved that thing.
She had it sitting up in this little shadow box in our house.
And one day, my mom and dad were gone.
And my brother said to me, He said, Dean, do you know why mom loves this thing so much?
I said, why?
She said, do you know why mom paid so much money for that?
I said, why?
He said, it was Mary Poppins.
She got it in England.
It was Mary Poppins.
And if you get up on the house and open that and put your heels together and say, there's no place like home, that was even the wrong movie.
That was the wizard of Oz.
There's no place like home.
You can fly.
I took my mother's precious parasol.
God bless her heart.
It's the only beautiful thing she, I mean, she loved that thing.
I opened that thing up on my brother's thing.
I got on the edge of the roof like this.
I put my heels together.
I said, there's no place like home.
And I flew right into the rose bushes.
And that thing, I crushed her rose bushes.
I broke the parasel, and my mother gave me a good whooping with that parasol when she got home.
But listen, we were living carefree.
Innocent in the days of our youth.
But now, wait a minute.
That doesn't mean that we ought to leave our children to themselves.
The Bible says a child left to himself, bringeth his mother to shame.
If we're going to really let our kids rejoice in their youth, we need to help protect them from some of the great burdens of life and the problems of life.
Listen, our kids don't need to be knowing all of the issues of the family and your financial standings.
I mean, these kids are carrying so many burdens today.
We need to protect them from that, but we've got to give them nurture and admonition.
There's two things critical in this passage of scripture for a person to have a rejoicing heart in his youth.
Number one, he is to keep his heart.
And number two, he's to guard his eyes.
Now, don't you read for a minute into this passage where Solomon said that you should walk in the ways of your heart, that Solomon was saying, follow your heart.
That's the worst advice anybody could ever give anyone.
Solomon had written earlier in his word that the heart of a child is bound with foolishness.
The rod of correction will drive it far from him.
The heart is deceitful and desperately wicked.
Who should know it?
But Solomon did write in Proverbs chapter 4, keep thy heart with all diligence.
For out of it are the issues of life.
What you give your heart to will be where your life flows.
And so young people in their early years, we've got to get into their hearts.
We've got a mom and dad, you need to be in a race for their heart.
What are you giving your heart to?
What are your kids in love with?
What is their heartbeat?
Help them to guard their heart, protect their heart.
Don't give their heart to some fanciful fantasy of this world.
But give their heart to the Lord.
Give their heart.
Solomon is going to say later in the book of Proverbs in chapter 23.
He says, my son, give me thine heart.
And let thine eyes observe my ways.
Young people, listen, you need good examples in your life.
Let your honor your parents and obey your parents and the Lord.
Give your heart to them.
Trust them with your heart.
Trust their counsel, their wisdom, their advice, their experience.
And then watch their example.
Parents, remember, you're leaving an example for your children.
What kind of husbands will your boys be by watching you?
What kind of wives will your girls be by watching you?
How passionate for Christ will your children be by watching you?
Let your eyes observe my ways.
Give me your heart.
Follow me.
Listen, if you want to rejoice in your heart, young people have got to learn to keep their hearts with all diligence and keep their eyes.
Parents, we've got to help them and bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
Here's the second thing very quickly, verse 10.
He says in verse 10, if you're going to have a life that's not filled with vanity, in your youth, rejoice.
Learn to have a good and wonderful experience in your youth.
Guarding your heart, guarding your eyes.
But then verse 10, therefore remove sorrow from thy heart and put away evil from thy flesh.
For childhood and youth are vanity.
Listen, if you live in sorrow and you live for the flesh, you're going to have vanity in your life.
Sorrow here in this word, it's an amazing word.
It means an inner pain.
He's talking about two aspects of a person's life, the inner life and the outer life.
The things of his heart and the things of his hands.
What he gives his life to.
Parents, we've got to help our young people.
Young people, you've got to let God help remove some things from your life.
You were born into this world with a sin nature.
You were born with desires of sin and a flesh that has a propensity and an appetite for sin.
You've got to remove that.
There's so much on the shoulders of our kids today.
I deal with it on a regular basis.
I believe that one of the great breakdowns in our society and one of the things that's causing an epidemic in childhood anxiety and childhood depression is the breakdown of the home and family.
I think because of the breakdown of home and family, they're not getting the discipline and the training and the nurture that they need in the family.
Moms and dads, listen to me.
The most important relationship in your home is the relationship you have as a husband and wife.
Guard that and protect that.
Have a biblical marriage.
God did not give you children so that you can make your children your idols.
They are not here now to dominate your lives.
They are to be led.
They are part of God's plan for you to take the love that you have as a husband and wife and to give that to them and to lead them in that.
Why?
They're going to get up and go away from you one day.
What are they going to be when you shoot them out as an arrow in the hand of a mighty man and they go out into this world?
What kind of example do they have?
So get your home in order and keep your home straight.
I think another thing that's leading to great anxiety in our children is the exposure of sin in the world that we have today.
I mean, we're handing them these things at an early age.
And what we don't realize is that we're giving the world access to our children.
They're becoming more and more and more consumed with pornography at earlier and earlier ages.
I mean, the abundance of sin will blow your mind.
I talked to a girl this summer at a summer camp, 14 years old.
She came to me and she said, hey, I need to know what to do.
And I said, what is it?
And she said, I've got a boyfriend who's bisexual.
And he's not a believer.
And I'm a believer, but I really care for him.
And he really cares for me.
And I don't know what to do.
I said, what do you mean?
I'm not going to pray about that.
You know what to do.
Are you comfortable being disobedient to God?
She said, what do you mean?
I said, the Bible says that you're not to be yoked up together with unbelievers.
If you're a Christian and he's Not, you have no business dating that boy.
And the lifestyle that he's in is an abomination to God.
All right, we'll be back.

Since the closing of the gold window in 1971, the Federal Reserve has led the way in the explosion of debt and the devaluing of your money.
They openly say that they need 2% inflation, which simply means they hope to devalue your money and they want to do this every single year, year after year.

Sucka put somebody on the sidewalk Carjacking old lady at a red light.
Pull a gun on the owner of a liquor store.
You think it's cool?
Let's fool if you like.
Cause I had a cup spit in his face.
Stump on a flag and light it up.
Yeah, you think it's a try that in a small town.
See how far you make it down the road.
And he ought not to have the joy of your blessing of his life to be a blessing in his sin.
Listen, you need to tell him what he's doing in his life is sinful.
And you need to give him the gospel and then get away from him and let him deal with God and his sin.
But I mean, think about this.
She's 14 years old.
And the exposure to sin is epidemic.
It's on every social media platform.
It's in all of these video games with pornography and profanity and all kinds of evil things.
And our kids are being inundated with this all the time.
Parents, we've got to help them remove some of these temptations.
I believe also it's because of the pursuit of evil men and seducers.
The Bible says in the last days, evil men and seducers will wax worse and worse.
That's why they're having these drag queen hours in the libraries.
And they're trying to teach our kids vile things in the kindergarten.
Why?
Evil men and seducers are waxing worse and worse.
And they're trying to allure our kids.
Listen, that crowd can't reproduce, so they're going to recruit.
And who are they going to recruit?
Our children.
And they're after them.
And we've got to help remove them from those things.
The Bible says, flee youthful lusts.
Flee fornication.
And we've got to help them not to make huge mistakes in their youth that they're going to pay for the rest of their life.
Charles Eddie Spurgeon said, youthful sins lay a foundation for aged sorrows.
Youthful sins lay a foundation for aged sorrows.
We've got to help our kids.
One of the great things, evangelist Ed Loney came into camp and he preached a message last night that was an incredible message on how to overcome temptation.
And he used it from the life of Christ.
Matthew chapter 4.
He said, we didn't hear anything of Jesus for 18 years.
We saw him born.
We saw him at 12 for one day.
And then 18 years of silence.
And all of a sudden, there he is, getting baptized and the Holy Spirit coming upon him and God saying, this is my beloved Son, in whom I'm well pleased.
What an amazing moment.
And then in chapter 4 of Matthew, it says, then.
Then.
And he said, you mark it down, young people.
Anytime you step out on a decision to please God, then comes temptation.
Satan's going to come and try to wreak havoc.
And he went through the temptations of Christ.
I won't repreach his message, but he made a very valid point last night that God just put deep down in my heart.
And I've been meditating on that all night.
And then this morning, the first temptation that he gave to Jesus, Jesus was 40 days fasting and he was hungry.
And the first temptation was to turn the stones to bread.
Is there anything sinful with turning stones to bread?
No.
But he said, where he met Jesus, he met Jesus in a weakness of his flesh.
He was hungry.
He needed to eat.
So he met him at a weakness of his flesh.
And he met him with something that he had the power to achieve.
But had Jesus achieved that, there was nothing wrong with bread, but it was before God's time.
He would have been getting something for himself that it was not time for him to have.
And how many of our young people, Satan is exploiting their appetites of their flesh, and they're getting out ahead of their timing, and they're enjoying things in their teenage years that are reserved for marriage.
Hey, listen, God is not keeping these young people from sex.
God is keeping these young people for sex in marriage.
Parents, we've got to make sure that they don't do this before time.
Protecting them and giving them guidance on their appetites and their flesh and helping them to avoid temptation.
Don't let them put themselves in compromising situations.
He said, well, I trust my kids.
I don't trust me.
Listen, this is not popular preaching, but this is Bible preaching.
And it's from a pastor who loves you and cares for you.
And I see the tragedy in old life that came from experiences in young life Where we, one of the hardest things that a man will ever live with is the consequences of forgiven sins.
Let's help our kids remove some things.
Rejoice in your youth.
Remove things in your life.
The lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, the pride of life, sorrow from the heart.
Put away evil from your flesh.
Live a life that's pure.
Help them to live in purity.
Don't set them up for failure.
Watch who their friends are.
Watch the things that are coming in their life.
What are they looking at?
What are they listening to?
What are the great influences of their life?
Listen, that's going to destroy them if you're not careful.
So put a protection.
You know what, my dad, my dad had a principal in our family.
He said, Son, I know you don't like this rule.
He said, but I have a choice as a dad.
I can either build a guardrail or I can, at the top of the cliff, or I can have an ambulance service at the bottom of the cliff.
I can help you from falling, or I can help you pick up the pieces.
I'd rather help you from falling.
I look back at that and I'm grateful for it.
I didn't always like it at the time, but I'm grateful for it.
I'm grateful for a dad.
Listen, I'm glad that my dad wasn't scared of me.
And I'll tell you why.
Dad knew this.
Look at this.
Watch this.
Look at verse number nine.
He said, For all these things, God will bring thee into judgment.
Solomon was making a clear thing.
He said, I'm not giving you this time to rejoice just to go do as you please because you're going to stand before the Lord.
And I want to just say this.
Let me take one minute and say this because this is important, and I'll close the message.
Parents, listen, if we do not strongly, firmly, biblically discipline our children, I'm not talking about abuse.
I'm just talking about setting lines and having accountability.
We're going to face judgment one day with the Lord.
Did you all know that?
Whether we like it or not, we're going to stand before the Lord and give an account of our lives.
And the Bible, there's an interesting verse that Solomon wrote in the book of Proverbs.
He said, Chasten your son while there is hope.
He said, He that chastened his son B times, that means many times.
My parents took the Bible literally.
He that chastened his son be times.
Now, I got chased him B times on the behind.
I will tell you that.
He that chaseth his son B times, here's what the Bible says, shall save his soul from hell.
Now, what does discipline in childhood have to do with eternal life?
Many of our kids never see the necessity of being saved from sin because they've never seen the consequences for their own sin in their childhood.
When there's accountability and judgment day in our lives as children, we get a glimpse of our Heavenly Father who is good to us.
A father of this world is to be good and benevolent and gracious and loving kindness, but he gives a law and he gives boundaries and he gives some borders and then he helps his children to walk in that and there's accountability when they don't.
What does that do?
It teaches the kids that one of these days your life is going to be accountable.
Our kids need that today.
By the way, if we had more preaching like this in our world today, we'd have less riots in the streets and kids breaking in.
We wouldn't be locking up Dorito chips in the store.
So we've got to help them remove things from their life.
Have some rules.
Be firm.
Be fair.
Be fun.
You can rejoice in life.
You can do all of the above.
Think about this for just a minute.
Let's just suppose that today we got all a couple hundred kids and teenagers that come to our church, and we just cleared all these chairs and we put a basketball, a volleyball, a baseball, a golf ball, a tennis ball, and we put a hockey stick and a tennis racket and a golf club and a lacrosse, whatever those things are called.
And we put that out there.
We put one goal down on this side.
We put a soccer goal on that side.
We put a field goal post for football up on this side.
And we opened up all the doors.
We got all the kids in here.
We got them all in a big circle.
We said, all right, on your marsh kids, hey, no.
What would happen?
Well, chaos.
The little kids would be running around throwing stuff at each other.
Older kids would be like kind of trying to figure out, like, okay, what's the point?
What are we doing?
And the reason for that is because as we older that we get, we understand that for something to be valid and for something to have meaning, number one, it has to have a purpose.
There's got to be a goal.
What's the objective here?
Number two, there has to be a boundary.
I mean, you can't just grab the ball, run out here, go around.
I mean, if we had a basketball game in here and a kid just got the ball, went outside, ran around the building, everybody's wondering where he is.
Then he sneaks in the other side when no one's looking and lays the ball in and gets two points.
And what fun is that?
There's got to be a boundary.
All right.
Stay tuned.
We're coming back after this break.
We're coming back after this break.
Joshua 24:15 says, Choose you this day whom you will serve.

This is a man's world.
But it wouldn't mean nothing.
Nothing.
Nothing.
About a woman or a girl.
L'uomo rincorre il potere ma lui non sa.
E'il grande divizio de ser come si parrà.
Nel palmo stringe un dia che non vive.
Che non vive.
That has to be an objective.
Have you ever noticed that kids are being more and more and more delayed in their time to launch?
They're wanting to drive later.
I mean, they don't know what to do with college.
They're just kind of paralyzed in life.
Sometimes we blame the kids.
Listen, it's not the kids.
We've changed the rules of life and they don't know how to play the game.
We've not given them a purpose and an objective and a border.
There needs to be a rule that some of there's a referee that says, nope, nope, you can't do that.
Stay in the game.
That's what makes life joyful.
There's joy in the boundary, and that's a wonderful thing.
And so we need that.
And then I'll close with this.
Number three, they not only need to rejoice.
Young people need to remove things from their life, but number three, they need to remember.
Remember what?
Look at verse 1 of chapter 12.
Remember now thy creator in the days of thy youth.
Let's look at these words that he chose here very quickly as we close.
Remember.
Remember doesn't just mean keep in mind.
No, no, no.
Remember means to consider with the intent of obeying.
Listen, when your kids are about to go to a friend's house, you say to them, you remember what I told you.
You keep this in mind and you intend to obey me even if I'm not there.
Look, our kids need to keep in mind that there is a creator.
Remember keeping God in their mind, considering God with the intent of obeying.
Why?
Because he's the creator.
Solomon chose this word intentionally.
Remember your creator.
Listen, this is why Satan has tried to use the theory of evolution on our children to teach us that we just came out of nothing and we're only here for a life and we're going to go back into nothing in the evolutionary process.
Oh no, listen, life is not YOLO.
It's not you only live once.
No, no, no, no, no, no.
No, listen.
You're a created being of God.
And if there is a creator, then you're creation.
And if you're the creation, he had a purpose in your making.
If he had a purpose in your making, then you're accountable to him.
And you'll give an account one day to the creator.
That's why Satan hates the idea of creation.
Because it brings accountability to God.
My life is not my own.
My life was given to me by God.
I'm to steward it.
I'm to give it to him.
I'm to live for him.
Remember now, you're creator.
You have a purpose of your life.
Listen, we need to help our kids understand that their life is to be lived for God.
100% wide open.
It doesn't matter what you do.
You don't have to be a preacher, a preacher, just to live for God.
You can be a plumber.
You can be a painter.
You can be a homemaker.
You can work in insurance.
You can do it anyway.
But anything can be a life live for God.
If it's a life lived for God.
Then he says, I want you to live.
Remember your creator now.
Now.
There's a reason why he emphasized now.
Solomon was coming to this idea late in his life.
He said, I want you to remember this now.
Now, not later.
Today.
Don't put it off down the road.
Don't say, I'm going to do that later.
Listen to me.
No, you walk with God now.
You know God now.
You get into this now.
Procrastination is the thief of the soul.
Worst things you'll ever say is, I'll do that another day.
You're not promised another day.
Do it now.
Do it now.
Live for God now.
Listen, a lot of times we say, well, let's just let our kids sow their wild oats when they're teens.
And then what we do is we spend time praying for crop failure.
Live for God now in the days of thy youth.
And then he says, in your youth.
Why does he say in your youth?
Oh, listen, because youth is a gift.
You know what you have when you are young?
You got energy.
Hey, listen, those of us that are old, we get up early, but we don't get going fast.
We get out of bed, we walk downstairs, and in the recliner.
Before long, we're sound asleep again.
Listen, we're up, but we ain't going.
The only thing, listen, I asked an old-timer one time, I said, hey, man, you look like you're shuffling along today.
He goes, yeah.
He said, the only thing that I do fast now is tire.
I tire fast.
That's why kids ought to serve the Lord in their youth, why they've got energy.
Do you know what our kids could do for God in this city if they gave all their energy to the Lord?
If they gave their health to the Lord.
What a foolish society we live in.
We spend all of our youth building our wealth and spend all of our age spending our wealth to buy back our health.
We give our health to get our wealth and we give all of our wealth to give back our health.
Foolishness.
Give God the days of your youth and then we have strength and opportunities.
Listen, why did he say give God your life in your youth?
Because what you're doing in your youth sets patterns for your life.
Can I tell you that there are still some character flaws that I have in my life today that I developed as a teenager?
And I'm still having to deal with character flaws.
You know, when Saul was a teenager, Saul was listless.
He was chasing his father's donkeys.
Couldn't find them.
He had no spiritual influence in his life.
When his servant said, let's go ask the man of God, he said, I'm going back home.
And he made excuses.
He didn't want to listen to the man of God.
He didn't want to go find the donkeys.
He didn't take responsibility for what his dad had given him.
And then you fast forward that to Saul's kingdom.
As Saul is a king, what did he do?
He chased David through all of his kingdom.
He ignored the advice of Samuel.
He didn't listen to Samuel.
He didn't go to the man of God.
He was in rebellion.
Where did he learn that character when he was a youth?
Look at David, David keeping his father's sheep.
David, when nobody looked, they weren't his sheep, but he killed a lion and a bear to protect his father's sheep.
If it were me, I would have said, it's not my sheep.
You can have them.
Not David.
He said, my dad gave me a responsibility.
I'm going to be faithful to my responsibility.
Even when his dad called him to take a lunch to his brothers, David got a keeper to take care of the sheep while he went away.
He made sure that he took care of his responsibility.
He learned responsibility and courage and value.
David learned to win private battles in his life.
It was the private battles before his big public battles.
David was developing courage and integrity and responsibility as a king.
And for 20 years of his kingdom, David did that.
Until David got old.
Listen, one of the greatest tragedies beyond young people wasting their youth is old people trying to relive their youth.
David got 20 years into being a king and thought, you know what?
I'm going to be a young guy again.
And committed adultery and just sent his family in a tailspin.
Give God your youth.
And then in your old age, listen, this is what I want to tell you.
You say, well, Pastor, my youth is gone.
I'm older now.
Oh, listen.
This is important.
God help us with these churches that are saying, let's put the old people out.
Let's just get a church that wants to get the young people.
Listen, that's not God's pattern at all.
God's pattern is the older teach the younger.
All right, we'll be back.
Stay tuned.
Stay tuned.

Okay, I've been hearing a lot about the LifeWave patches and they sound amazing.
And I'm thinking I want to try them for myself.
But can you tell me how they work?
Okay, well, you wear the patch, which is about the size of a quarter, 12 hours a day, 12 on, 12 off.
And the patch uses your body's own light and energy and copper peptides to reactivate the dormant stem cells in your body.
Once a stem cell has been reactivated, it can be used by any of the cells in your body that need it, creating a healing and growth process you haven't experienced since your youth.
So in a nutshell, this is how the LifeWave X39 patch works.

There's something happening here.
And what it is ain't exactly clear.
There's a man with a gun over there telling me I got to beware.
I think it's time we stop children.
What's that sound?
Everybody look what's going down.
Oh, my God.
Older men teach the young men.
Older ladies teach the younger ladies.
You get into this group and quit excluding other people from your group.
Get some people that'll speak truth into your life.
You know, we like to get around our own little group and bump our gums and just bounce our own little ideas.
It's like a bunch of seventh graders trying to figure out how to be a how to live life.
Seventh grader can't help you live your life.
They don't even know where their clothes are.
What you need is some people that have some age and experience in your life.
Listen, some of you older people, listen, you need to get around some young people and encourage them.
You say, well, yeah, but Pastor, I've got so many scars.
I wasted things in my life.
They need to hear that.
They didn't hear that.
They need some older men to teach the younger men how to love their wives.
Some younger ladies need to hear from some older ladies how to love their husbands and how to raise their children.
How to live godly in this world, how to cultivate contentment.
We need some young people that are learning from the older people.
Listen, older people, don't you waste your life.
Some of you, you think, well, man, I'm towards the end of my life.
Look, you're in the fourth quarter.
This is when you win the game.
Don't go into pre-vent defense and say, well, I've lived my life.
I'm just going to sit back and just sip on little sweet tea until I go to heaven.
No, this is time for you to be in the game and be giving encouragement and coaching and mentoring and showing an example and helping young families and young people live for Christ.
Use the life that God has given to you.
Don't waste it.
What a shame to waste our youth and then waste our age.
We'll end up like Solomon saying, vanity of vanities.
All is vanity.
Pour your life into somebody else.
Let the Lord have you.
Now, I'll just tell you this.
You can't have any kind of life until you know Jesus.
You can't know anything until you know him.
And if you've never been to Jesus Christ for salvation, I'm going to invite you to come to him today.
There's only one way to be saved, and that's through the Lord Jesus Christ.
And I'm going to invite you to come.
And Jesus gave public invitations and invited men to come to him publicly.
And we're going to pray in just a moment.
I'm going to invite you to come to Christ.
If you don't know him, you come and be saved today.
A moment in time will change your eternity.
Amen.
One moment in time will change your eternity.
Father, I pray.
There you go.
That's Pastor Dean Miller and his sermon titled Youth Does Not Have to Be Wasted, which I'm really thankful to be able to share with you here today.
So when we come back, we're going to get into some of the news stories of the day.
Starting the week out, a lot to cover.
We're going to get into it all.
But, you know, I just am really thankful I'm able to share these sermons with you guys on Mondays and I and I appreciate all of you guys listening in.
And we're going to get right to the news on the other side of the break for sure.
But yeah, a lot to cover.
You know, a lot happening over the weekend and a lot happening.
Just generally speaking, we're going to try to get all those updates and much, much more.
But I think it's a good message from that sermon is that we should never allow our youth to be wasted.
What youth we have now and even if we're older, using our lives, as Pastor Miller was saying, to help others, to help the youth, to guide them.
There's always purpose.
There's always meaning.
There's always a plan that God has for each one of us and we just have to follow that plan and trust in him.
So that's the great gospel message for the morning to start the week.
So again, we're going to take a break, come back, get into the news.
Stay tuned.
You're listening to Just Form Talk Radio.
Come and take you away, wait.
We better stop here.

All right.
So we're back back in studio, of course.
It's Monday.
Lots and lots and lots of stories to get to from over the weekend.
Of course, one of the big stories from the last 24 hours, or I guess 48 hours, depending on how you look at it, from the weekend, that is, since we last were here.
Let's not put a number on it, right?
Governor Greg Abbott says he will remove from office Democrat lawmakers who have fled Texas to block GOP congressional redistricting.
So this is not a news story.
This has happened before, where in order to prevent lawmakers from assembling to pass legislation, you have this phenomena where in order to keep the legislation,
the legislative body from being able to hold a quorum, which is a necessary level of attendance for anything to be done legislatively, the party that is not in power will decide to flee.
And this is what's happening in Texas, where Democrats fled the state to block the Republicans from holding a special session, and they're trying to block this new redistricting.
Now, the redistricting looks to be in favor of Republicans.
It's congressional voting districts, and it will essentially create what has been said to be probably about five extra House congressional seats for the state of Texas for Republicans, which you'd think, okay, that's a good thing, right?
Well, clearly it is, but the Democrats obviously feel the opposite.
And they've decided to flee the state, mostly heading to, of all places, Chicago, because, of course, Chicago is, you know, what they want to turn Texas into Illinois in general, a deep blue state filled with crime and violence.
So that's where they are.
That's where they're, you know, making their proclamation of, you know, righteousness saying, you know, we're doing this for all the right reasons because this is some, you know, ridiculous, you know, this is a threat to democracy, right?
This is what they always say.
It's always a threat to democracy whenever they're not in control.
When they do it, when they redistrict and they take seats, it's not a threat to democracy.
It's, you know, the right thing to do, of course.
So this is just another example of the grandstanding.
But what is interesting is Abbott, the governor of Texas, Greg Abbott, he released a statement outlining the legal consequences that House Democrat members will face for breaking this quorum, which includes the potential loss of their seats and felony violations.
So basically what the letter says is that he will remove from office any Democrat who abandons their duty and refuses to show up by 3 p.m. today, August 4th, 2025.
And I think it would be interesting to see what happens with this.
If anybody actually does lose the sheet, because usually what happens is the Democrats just do this as a PR stunt and then they'll all show back up and, you know, the tail between their legs and get back to go along to get along type deal.
But you never know.
I mean, it would be interesting to watch a bunch of Democrats be removed from the Texas legislature and see how that plays out in the media.
And maybe that's the plan, you know?
Maybe the plan is to force his hand, make him remove him, then turn it into a publicity stunt, a narrative framing opportunity.
It can be sold to the public, yada, yada, yada.
You know how this goes, right?
The existential threat to democracy card will be thrown on the table, and they'll start claiming that, you know, this is some kind of military or some fascist dictatorship.
But what I found interesting more than anything else was, you know, when redistricting occurs in blue states, it's called equity.
But when it happens in red states, it's called un-American.
Here's Sakeem Jeffries and Democrats together talking about this very issue.
It's interesting to watch.
Listen to this.
We have to make clear to the people of Texas what's taking place because it's unacceptable, unconscionable, and un-American.
And as elected officials, we have that responsibility.
That's not something we can just brush aside.
At 50 states in America, I'm here in Texas for a reason.
Because these legislators are standing up.
These members of Congress are standing up and communicating to the people of Texas what's occurring right now in the middle of the summer at a special session.
And we will make clear that we're going to do everything possible to support the Texas legislators as they consider the best ways to push back.
It's an all-hands on deck moment and all options should be on the table to protect the people of Texas.
But Texas Democrats are going to be the ones to decide that.
We will fight them politically.
We will fight them governmentally.
We will fight them in court.
We will fight them in terms of winning the hearts and minds of the people of Texas and beyond.
The Texas Democrats are going to show up and stand up and speak up for what's right for the people of Texas.
And they're showing courage and conviction and character in doing that.
And we'll see what happens over the next few days over the next few weeks.
But the one thing I know is clear: that Texas Democrats are fighting for the people.
It's an interesting way to fight for the people by fleeing the state en masse.
You know, you can't really make this stuff up.
It's just, it writes itself sometimes, right?
Like, we are fighting for the people.
Okay, well, how are you going to fight for us?
Everybody, get on the plane.
We're going to Chicago.
It's like, wait, you're fighting for who?
The people of Texas from Chicago.
You'll see.
This won't work out well.
Okay, perfect.
All right.
So let's take a break.
We're going to come back, get back into it.
A lot more stories to cover.

I'm your host, Craig James.
And you know, it is interesting that there's a lot to unpack in some of these news stories that are coming out today.
Though, I want to start with this story that we've had for a little while now, but diving into Colorado specifically, right?
So, Colorado, there's a story that came out not too long ago, back in July, that talks about Governor Jared Polis has been, you know, very vocal about local and state law enforcement not being allowed to help federal agents, ICE agents detain illegal immigrants here in the state of Colorado.
And this has become quite a contentious thing as Colorado has two Colorado deputies were disciplined for violating state law by helping federal agents make immigration arrests.
So, this all happened back in July, late July.
According to reports, two Colorado deputies were disciplined for violating state law by assisting federal immigration agents, specifically U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement ICE agents in making immigration arrests.
Basically, this was said to be a contravention of Colorado's policy restricting local law enforcement coordination with federal immigration authorities.
Okay, so who were involved in this whole thing?
You have this deputy named Alexander Zwink.
He was part of the drug task force, and he was a part of a drug task force, and he faced additional legal action on an unspecified date last week prior to July 31st.
This was brought by Colorado's attorney general, who sued him.
This is Phil Weiser, sued him following the June 2025 arrest of a Brazilian college student with an expired visa, which revealed his cooperation with ICE.
There was another deputy named Olson who was involved.
But this is also noted that there are other law enforcement agencies here, including the Colorado State Patrol, who have been sharing information with ICE via this supposed signal chat that exists.
There's some kind of signal chat where they're sharing this information.
There are also two unnamed supervisors who were disciplined, though the nature of their punishment was not detailed.
So, what I find so interesting about this is that this is where the state of Colorado has come, right?
We have our elected officials, right, lobbying for and basically saying it's a violation of these laws that have been passed here in the state of Colorado to assist federal agents.
Now, this is, I believe it was one of these bills that was passed not too long ago, which is HB 191124, which is called Protecting Colorado Residents from Federal Government Overreach Act.
And there's another one, SB 21-131.
And what the laws do that's been passed by our radical left lunatic legislature here in the state.
But what they basically do is prevent local law enforcement from detaining individuals based solely on immigration status or sharing personal info identifying information with ICE unless legally required.
So Zwink received three weeks of unpaid leave and was removed from the drug task force.
Olson, the other deputy, got two weeks of unpaid leave and was removed from the task force.
The supervisors were disciplined, but there's no specific penalty mentioned.
And this is all, of course, based on three particular state laws that were passed.
Again, this was HB 191124, which prohibits law enforcement from arresting or detaining individuals based on immigration status or holding them for ICE pickups.
SB 2083, which prevents arrests for civil infractions at courthouses or during transit to or from court, indirectly protecting undocumented immigrants.
And of course, SB 21131, which further restricted state employees from aiding ICE by limiting access to personal data.
So, again, our state is passing laws to protect and harbor illegal criminal felons who have entered this country in violation of federal law.
And not only are they passing laws to protect these criminals who are here illegally, but they are further punishing law enforcement in the state who attempt to assist federal prosecutors or federal agents from detaining and apprehending these people who are here illegally.
So, as my friend and co-host, who you guys know here, Nick No, would say, that sure sounds like misprecion of treason.
That sure sounds like aiding and abetting the enemy, criminals, criminal elements, felons.
This sure sounds like an egregious overstep that must be dealt with, you know, harshly.
But even beyond that, you know what I find the most ironic thing, right?
So I was thinking about it.
I'm like, hmm, well, I wonder if they were as strict about cooperation.
Now, I know these bills were probably passed a little bit later, right?
But I wonder if they were this worried about cooperating with federal law enforcement officials when federal law enforcement officials were coming to Colorado to arrest people like Jacob Clark or Rebecca Laverins Or Avery McCracken or Jeffrey Sable.
And you go, who are all those people?
Well, those are all people that were arrested in connection with January 6th by federal agents that resided and lived here in Colorado.
I don't recall hearing our state legislature vociferously, vocally coming out against federal law enforcement entering the state of Colorado and perhaps even being aided in their attempt to apprehend these lawless insurrectionists, right?
Now, of course, I mean, we'd have to go look at all the details, but I mean, I'm going to go out on a limb and say they were not actively and vocally sounding the alarm and fighting against this same action when it was done against their political enemies, right?
Who, in all fairness, I don't know the individual case of each of these individuals, but I can tell you right now that there's a high probability that most of these people were arrested after doing nothing more than walking into the Capitol building and being entrapped by federal officers in Washington, D.C. on January 6th, 2021.
So the hypocrisy is so flagrant and so apparent with all of this that you just can't, you can't make it up.
And it really does, it makes me sick to my stomach when I think of the fact that you have this two-tier system that is on full display here with no checkerboard.
I mean, who do we have enforcing laws?
You know, the guys who are out there on the day-to-day grind who are saying, hey, we need to get these criminals off the street.
I talk to these cops, okay?
I know some of them.
I've had conversations about what's happening in Denver, what's happening in Boulder, what's happening in these cities, the blue cities, where they're handcuffing.
They're literally handcuffing the police and telling them they can't do anything.
And that's demoralizing.
You imagine you're a police officer.
I mean, I talked to a friend of mine who will remain nameless, an officer in Boulder, police officer.
And we were just casually talking about the state of affairs, politics, etc.
And crime in Boulder.
And he's like, you know, you can't imagine how demoralizing it is.
He was basically saying, as an officer who's, you know, sworn to protect and serve and uphold the law.
And you're told, you know, you basically go, you drive down Pearl Street, you know, you drive through downtown Boulder and you see the guy, you know, he's out there shooting up heroin in public in front of families and, you know, stealing from stores.
And you know this guy.
You've arrested this guy, you know, a half dozen times.
But every time you arrest him, you take him down the station and he's out in six hours or less.
And he's right back where you found him three hours, you know, four hours before.
And he's doing the same thing.
He's got more dope.
He's got more, you know, stolen goods that he's hanging out with.
He's terrorizing more families.
You know, and all the woke leftist people are too afraid to say anything, right?
Again, they put the rainbow flag in their store window as a form of protection, mostly.
I mean, some of them ideologically believe in it.
But I would say if you walk down Boulder and Pearl Street, most of the businesses there have the little rainbow flags in their windows and in their business as a form of protection, a form of capitulation, a form of, you know, an outward action of subservience to make sure that their business isn't targeted.
And God bless those businesses that don't display it.
As a matter of fact, if you ever go to Pearl Street, that's a good way.
That's a good way to select which business you patronize is by which one doesn't have the flag.
It actually makes it kind of easy to know where to spend your money and where not to.
Because of course, for me, and maybe you as a Christian, I don't support that ideology.
I don't support people who condone that ideology.
But again, some of those people, they're putting that, it's a signal of virtue, but it's also basically saying, don't, don't destroy my business.
Don't boycott my business.
Don't try to cancel me.
Please, please, just, I'll put the flag up.
Just leave me alone.
You know?
Because most people, again, don't want to, you know, have to put theirself in that position to face what would come from not acquiescing.
I mean, I remember at one point when we had these riots and every other day, it was a BLM riot or a big, you know, Antifa riot.
You put that flag in your window.
Maybe they won't smash your windows.
Maybe they won't loot your business.
Maybe.
Maybe.
No guarantees, of course.
But it's better than nothing, I guess, for some because they've been taught to live in fear of what those people will do to them if they don't acquiesce.
If they don't bend the knee, if they don't grovel, if they don't prostrate themselves before the violent mob of angry, disaffected people.
And then they put this into law, right?
Particularly with what we're talking about here, these deputies being disciplined.
So the law enforcement, they're being disciplined for what?
Communicating to federal law enforcement officers: hey, these illegal criminals are here in our city committing crimes.
Perhaps you should pick them up.
And it's just maddening.
And I'll tell you what, when we come back, I got to play this clip because our intrepid, of course, I'm saying that facetiously, Attorney General Phil Weiser made an interesting set of remarks, which tells you everything you need to know about the left and their mindset.
That is so, it's like, you know, they call us hateful, they call us evil, they call us all these things.
But what's hateful and evil about wanting to make the city safe?
Wanting, you know, downtown to be a place where drug addicts aren't strawn across the streets, you know, shooting up heroin and killing themselves in slow motion.
Or what's evil or hateful about wanting to have, you know, a place where families can go and enjoy wholesome, you know, a good, wholesome time without being exposed to degeneracy and pure evil And violence.
I mean, I don't know.
You tell me.
Stay tuned.

And thanks to them for being a sponsor.
Okay, so we're back.
And, you know, I told you before that the way Colorado is run, I mean, it's a shame that this is such an amazing state that is run so in such a dysfunctional way, right?
Because this state could be great.
It could be even greater than it already is, which it is a great state.
But, of course, you know, we have these deep blue left-wing states.
I think mostly, I mean, it was already on this path before, but the legalization of pot really did a number on this state.
It brought a lot of people here who were just coming here for one reason and one reason only.
And that kind of created some of the dynamics we see today.
And before you go, oh, well, you know, I'm, you know, whatever on pot.
First of all, I don't support it.
I think it's, you know, maybe some medical stuff is fine.
You know, there might be some benefit at some point.
I know people with certain illnesses have found it to be helpful.
But generally speaking, it causes people to become, you know, unmotivated, lazy, lethargic.
It's sort of an anesthetizing thing.
It's like alcohol.
You know, you drink it, you smoke it, and you just sit around and do nothing.
Some people think it makes them creative.
I don't know.
I don't necessarily see it.
Maybe if you're like some rock star, I guess, but that's how many people come on, go on to become big rock stars, right?
Anyway.
But beyond that, whatever your thought is on it, I think that was kind of the time in which it came.
But it brought along all these people with it.
And this is where our politics has really taken a turn for the worst.
And I think that those people have been taught through these Marxist university professors and the indoctrination of the left-wing education system.
They've been taught how to take control of government.
I mean, that's one thing that you got to give credit where it's due to the left.
They've become quite adept at infiltrating political systems and seizing power, right?
If nothing else, even if their policies are crazy and they represent, in my opinion, a lot of very evil things and ideas, again, you got to give credit where it's due.
They are incredibly adept at politics, at infiltrating government.
And they've realized that that's where the power lies.
And that's why they go there and do it.
That's why we have a, you know, a supermajority of left-wing Democrats in the state legislature.
That's why we have a Democrat, you know, deep blue governor, deep blue secretary, you know, of state, attorney general, etc.
And it goes down the list, right?
And of course, you know, you can point to Soros and you can point to all these things, but at the end of the day, it's not just Soros funding this.
This is like, again, an educational system that has taught these young Marxists how to Seize the means of production, essentially, or of control of power through government, politics, legislative bodies.
And this is what they're doing, right?
And it's sad, but it also is so telling when you listen to them speak on it.
I'll give you an example, okay?
And I don't even know how this is not national news, but I guess there's so many examples of this nowadays that it's just not even worthy of news of national news story.
But here's our Attorney General, Phil Weiser, right?
I guess he was giving remarks a few days ago, maybe a couple weeks ago, some event somewhere near here.
I want you to listen to this short clip of what he says.
Just listen to this, okay?
So after someone commits a third or fourth car theft in, say, three months, they should be kept in with a really high bond because you got a sense they're going to get out.
They're going to commit more crimes.
So, you know, this is a part of their like justice reform.
Like, this is them cracking down on just, you know, we're going to get hard on these criminals.
After the third or fourth time in three months of stealing my car, then maybe we'll think about keeping you in jail and raising your bail because, you know, fool me once, shame on you.
Fool me twice.
Shame on you.
Fool me three times.
Shame on you.
Fool me four times?
Nah, you're not going to get me then.
It's like, but again, this is their way of trying to crack down on the lawlessness, which we've seen and seen throughout this state.
But again, they don't want to do anything about it.
They just want to address it when it becomes impossible to ignore.
And I think that's like the main takeaway I have from that statement he made there: when the problem becomes impossible to ignore, yeah, then we'll address it, but we won't do anything to address it until then.
Because again, they benefit from lawlessness.
They benefit from chaos.
They benefit from a society that is, you know, morally decaying.
This is where they thrive.
This is how they thrive.
Because if you think about it, if people are in a state of, you know, if society is in a state of moral decay, they need more government to come in and help them.
If people are poor, they need more government assistance.
If people are struggling to make ends meet, then the big daddy government needs to come in.
That keeps Phil Weiser in a job.
Of course, the limited government conservatives are the ones who come out and say, hey, we should get people to pull themselves up from their bootstraps and get people to be self-sufficient and independent.
And of course, there is a sort of inverse to that with conservatism.
And then they get into the corporate welfare state, of course.
So it's not to say that the other side is perfect by any means.
But again, on an individual level, everything that's wrong with the Democrat, you know, sort of policymaking and how they think is sort of embodied within that short 15-second clip there of Phil Weiser saying, you know, once somebody's stolen three or four cars in three months, now if they steal three or four cars over a span of a year, I don't know.
I don't think we should really, what are we going to do?
Arrest them?
Come on.
But if it's within a three-month period, I mean, this guy's obviously got a problem.
We probably should put him away, right?
And again, it's only because the people who have been mindlessly voting for him are waking up and noticing, hey, my car's been stolen twice by the same crackhead who you won't put in jail, who's also here illegally.
So even though I like smoking pot and living in this, you know, rainbow coalition, I actually like driving too.
I like having a car.
I like not having it broken into every night by crackheads.
So I don't know.
Maybe I'm not going to vote for you.
And then he goes, oh, crap.
All right.
Well, yeah, maybe the third or fourth time he breaks in your car.
We'll put him in jail for sure.
Oh, great.
Well, that's the solution, right?
Anyway, stay tuned.
We're coming back.

What you've probably heard, it says, is not what is written.
It's time to come out of all of that.
Why does it seem America is slowly sinking?
Whose fault is it?
It's not Biden, Obama, or Trump.
It's not the Democrats or Republicans.
It's not the military corporations or foreign countries.
It's the Federal Reserve, a central banking system made up of private bankers that corrupt and control virtually all aspects of the world's money supply and the economy.
All of the major problems of the world can be traced back to the Federal Reserve and central banks of other countries.

Welcome back, Just Forum Talk Radio.
I'm your host, Craig James.
And, you know, this isn't something that's relegated to only here in Colorado.
I mean, we're seeing this across the border.
You have this socialist, this avowed socialist Marxist running for mayor in New York City, you know, the biggest city in the country, I think.
Probably still.
I don't know if it is necessary.
I think it is still.
But it's like, and what are they pushing there?
The same stuff they're pushing here.
And this is where this whole sort of coalition gets their ideas.
It's not from, it's not from the state.
It's not from the constituents.
It's from these radical left-wing educational indoctrination centers that we call universities.
You know, these publicly funded institutions of quote-unquote higher learning.
And yeah, there probably is a lot of higher learning going on there when they get the doobies passing around there.
And there's a lot of higher learning and higher education, I'm sure, especially University of Colorado.
But even beyond that, what we're seeing is that there are organizations that have become very substantial and strong through these universities, like the Democratic Socialists of America, who are now running candidates who are winning elections, or at least primaries.
And we're going to see what happens in New York.
But it looks like because of the way that the system is broken there, that this socialist will end up winning.
This mom Donnie will end up winning and becoming the mayor of New York City.
And what is he pushing?
Well, I'll give you an example.
So he's directly affiliated with the Democratic Socialists of America, and they have a steering committee in New York City, right?
And here's a clip from one of their meetings that just recently occurred.
And just listen to what they are saying they want to do.
Listen to this.
Zoran is literally attempting to do what conservatives say we want to do, which is provide gender-affirming care to anyone who wants it for free.
And we're going to wake ship people.
We're going to fly people in and pay for their hotel rooms.
We're going to do all of the Fox News stuff.
We're getting ideas from Fox News.
I want to do that.
But most importantly, is we collaborated with the Zoran Mondani campaign on his trans rights platform.
And what we explicitly wanted to do was use the power of New York City to provide free gender-affirming care.
And I say free in case insurance companies decide to move us off.
Free gender-affirming care, not just to people in New York City, but across the country.
When Zoron first kind of approached DSA leadership about writing, his pitch was: he said, I'm going to get socialists to vote for me, and I'm going to get Muslims to vote for me.
With Zoron, we're in basically the best possible position to see state power that we can be in because, you know, we're like this, right?
DSA has regular meetings with him, let alone his team.
His policy director is my friend.
I've been working with his campaign manager for well over a year.
You know, I have friends who are in his staff, trans rights.
I always would say, you know, we are the tip of the spear.
And I've looked at Zoron's policies and I'm like, yep, these were floating around roof chats and message boards for like five years before they ended up in here.
Zoron himself, who's about to become the mayor of the largest city in the United States, is facing these same attacks that undocumented immigrants just trying to get a job at Home Depot are facing right now.
There's no reason at all that we can't use telehealth and mailing prescriptions to people across the country to undermine state bands.
The Zoron campaign was always eager to work with us.
You know, we're like that.
We wrote the platform with him.
The team was so happy to work with us on this.
And now he's going to be mayor.
Zoron kicked Pomo's ass.
Here's like almost a flawless victory.
And so I think that'll also bear out when you go to, when you switch into governing from like the campaign session.
New York City could provide trans health care for every trans person in the country who, you know, can't afford it.
And it like it would be a blip on our radar.
I'm sure there are people who voted for Zoran who are transphobic, right?
I'm sure there are people who voted for Zoron who don't have the best opinions on other stuff.
All right, that's enough of that.
So think about what you're hearing there.
Okay, so this guy, Democratic Socialist of America, he says, you know, he is our best guy.
I love how it starts off.
He's like, we're going to have a coalition of Muslims and socialists.
And the policies that they're suggesting at this socialist meeting are things that I'm pretty sure Muslims are not in favor of, right?
But that's beyond the point because the point is that these are relationships of utility, right?
This is a very, this is the sinister way in which these organizations operate and how they maneuver through politics.
It's basically becoming apparent.
What were they saying there?
Oh, we're going to undermine state regulations and laws by doing telehealth providing transgender affirming care in places where it's being banned.
And you're like, well, that's, isn't that like, isn't that like a violation of the law?
Well, you know, Zohron's for it.
So it's kind of like one of those things where they will decide to break the law.
At every point, it becomes inconvenient, but then they will simultaneously throw the law in your face at any point you try to stifle their ability to enact their radical agenda.
So this is what we're up against, not just here in Colorado, but in all these blue states.
And this is a very corrosive and toxic cancer in society.
It just is.
It's just going to lead to so much destruction, so much despair, so much pain and suffering.
And yes, I'm talking about the policies of the left.
Yes.
Everything you heard and everything we talked about and more.
But there you go.
All right.
Stay tuned.

Back in the USSR.
Socialism, like the ancient ideas from which it springs, confuses the distinction between government and society.
As a result, every time we object to a thing being done by government, the socialists conclude we object to it being done at all.
We disapprove of state education, and the socialists say we are opposed to any education.
Socialism.

Oh, oh, oh, oh.
But it was until I stumbled and made my mistakes.
Then I could know in my soul how amazing was grace.
Welcome back to Just Forum Talk Radio.
It's our final segment, and we're going to leave you guys with some hope and encouragement.
Scripture today is no different.
We always do.
1 John chapter 4.
We're finishing it up today.
It says this: In this, love is perfected with us so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment.
For we are as he is in the world.
There is no fear and love.
Instead, perfect love drives out fear because fear involves punishment.
So the one who fears has not reached perfection and love.
We love because he first loved us.
If anyone says, I love God yet hates his brother, he is a liar.
But the person who does not love his brother, he has seen, cannot love God, love the God he has not seen.
And we have this command from him: the one who loves God must also love his brother.
And I love these verses because it's so powerful to hear this and then remember that, you know, this is the kind of verse that you'll see often people will take out of context and will use as saying, well, you're a Christian.
You're commanded to love.
You are commanded to love your brother.
You cannot hate your brother.
And yes, that is true.
But see, they forget to mention how love is defined in scripture, what love is, what it truly means.
Love is not just that warm, fuzzy feeling you get.
Love is, it can be, it can take many forms.
It can take the form of admonition or rebuke.
It can take the form of a warning or a friendly gesture of help to say, hey, you're doing this and it's bad and it's going to hurt you.
You should stop doing that.
And I want to be clear: when I speak these truths about the world that we live in, the things that we see around us, I don't do it from a position of hate.
I don't hate anyone.
And I don't hate these people who commit these sins.
I am a sinner.
I was a sinner who was lost and then I was found.
So I have hope that these people can be saved.
And I have hope for them and I have love for them.
But my love comes in the form of, in some cases, a righteous rebuke.
Because again, if I have a friend who is drinking himself to death, and everyone tells me, well, you know, it's really not nice for you to say that he needs to quit drinking.
Well, I'm not going to be nice then.
I'm going to be firm and I'm going to tell him your drinking is a problem.
You're going to die.
You're going to kill yourself.
You're going to hurt your family.
You may get in your car and kill someone else.
You need to stop.
And that's the most loving thing I can do for him.
So that's the kind of love I think we need to have more of in this world.
But regardless, that's it.
We'll be back tomorrow, God willing, same time, same place.
If you haven't accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, I always encourage you to open your heart, say a prayer, accept him into your heart, and let him guide you and give you strength.
But that's where we're leaving it.
I'll see you tomorrow.
