Trying to hold on, but you didn't even know.
What?
I'm your host, Craig James.
Hope you guys are having a wonderful, wonderful day.
We're ready to start the week.
You know, we start usually with our sermons that we listen to every Monday in the first hour from Pastor Dean Miller over at Front Range Baptist Church in Fort Collins.
Today's no different.
But real quick, I just want to say thanks.
And a shout out to everybody who was at the picnic in the park this weekend on Saturday here at Parrish Park in Johnstown.
We had a great time with all of you and to everybody who I was able to talk to.
If you guys are listening, thank you.
It was a real pleasure.
And I really enjoyed it.
But with that being said, let's listen to this sermon.
And again, this is from Pastor Dean Miller of Front Range Baptist Church.
It's titled, How to Face Your Final Enemy.
And it's an amazing sermon.
So let's go ahead and jump right over to that here.
I cannot conquer death, but he has.
I cannot conquer death, but he has.
And that's going to be something we're going to look at today, Ecclesiastes chapter 9.
You'll be glad to know I cut the message in half today.
I was going to preach through all of Ecclesiastes 9, but I'm just going to preach through the first 10 verses.
There's so much here in this passage of Scripture.
And so I had prepared the whole message, and I prayed about it early this morning and said, nope, we're going to just, I believe we're just going to focus on one part of the chapter today.
When we're finished with Ecclesiastes in a few weeks, we're going to be going to John chapter 14, 15, 16, and 17.
And we're going to really talk about, we're seeing the fruitlessness of a life that did not abide in the wisdom that God had given him and the life that God had given him through Solomon in Ecclesiastes, a futile life, a fruitless life.
But then we're going to go to the book of John and we're going to see a fruitful life and how to abide in Christ and what it really means to abide and to bring forth fruit.
And that second part of the year, I'm looking forward to that.
I've been in that already doing some study, and I want to tell you, I have been under so much conviction.
I just want to hurry up and get to it so I can get it out because I've got to get it onto you because it's on me right now.
But we're going to go to Ecclesiastes 9.
So look at it with me.
Solomon has been trying to figure out all of this stuff about life in man's wisdom, trying to figure out what life means horizontally.
He has all this wisdom that God's given him and he's trying to put it to use, but he's missing some great components.
But we're going to see Solomon starting to get some glimpses of what it all is about.
And so we want to avoid a fruitless life.
I want to avoid a life that has no fruit.
I don't want to have an empty life.
Do you?
I don't want to have an empty life.
And so look with me in verse number one.
For all this I considered in my heart, even to declare all this, that the righteous and the wise and their works are in the hand of God.
Isn't that good?
No man knoweth either love or hatred by all that is before them.
All things come alike to all.
There is one event to the righteous and to the wicked, and to the good and to the clean, and to the unclean, to him that sacrificeth and to him that sacrificeth not.
As is the good, so is the sinner.
And he that sweareth as he that feareth an oath.
There is an evil among all things that are done under the sun, that there is one event unto all.
Yea, also the heart of the sons of men is full of evil, and madness is in their heart while they live, and after that they go to the dead.
For to him that is joined to all the living, there is hope.
For a living dog is better than a dead lion.
Now, let me just interrupt.
Don't read into that verse, 2025, America, Fort Collins, love of a dog.
All right?
Literally, we have gone to the dogs.
In the Bible, dogs were without.
Dogs were mangy.
They were not the little fifi, I'm going to take you to lunch.
I'm going to bathe you.
I'm going to take you to every place of business.
I'm going to make people sit on an airplane with you.
I'm going to make people, I'm going to kiss you in the face, all that kind of stuff.
Listen, stop it.
I love dogs.
I've got dogs, but I don't love dogs like that.
But here's what, in Solomon's way, I want you to understand this.
What Solomon's talking about is, in a world back then that despised dogs, they were without, they were the things that ate the, they were scavengers.
He said, even a living dog is better than a dead lion.
Now, keep that in mind.
We'll go forward.
Verse 5, for the living know that they shall die, but the dead know not anything, neither have they any more a reward, for the memory of them is forgotten.
Also, their love and their hatred and their envy is now perished, neither have they any more a portion forever in anything that is done under the sun.
Go thy way, eat thy bread with joy, and drink thy wine with a merry heart, for God now accepteth thy works.
Let thy garments be always white, and let thy head lack no ointment.
Live joyfully with the wife whom thou lovest, all the days of the life of thy vanity, which he hath given thee under the sun, all the days of thy vanity.
For that is thy portion in this life and in thy labor, which thou takest under the sun.
Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might.
For there is no work, no device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom in the grave whither thou goest.
Now you have to understand, Solomon is still looking at life, not from an eternal perspective, but a temporary perspective.
He's not looking things vertically.
He's looking at things horizontally.
And so you have to understand that's Solomon's mind.
But Solomon is going to talk about this one event that is happening to everybody.
And in these first 10 verses, he's going to talk about the certainty of death, that there is one event.
So I wanted to preach on this today to encourage you that you're going to die.
Don't you feel encouraged today?
You're going to die, and I'm going to die.
In fact, it's appointed unto man once to die.
Death is not an accident.
Death is an appointment.
We are all bound under the law of sin and death.
What does that mean?
When man became a sinner, death came with it.
For as by one man, sin entered into the world and death by sin, so that death passed upon all men.
For that all have sinned.
Now listen, all of us are under the bondage of sin and death.
And death, for the believer, is our final enemy.
And that's what I want to speak on today.
I want to speak on how to face your final enemy.
How do we face the reality of death?
Because you're going to die.
I'm going to die.
We don't know when.
We don't know how.
One famous man in the past said, I'm not afraid to die.
I just don't want to be there when it happens.
And I think that's kind of how the whole world looks at death.
My mother never lived in Fort Collins, but my mother died in Fort Collins.
And I was very grateful for how God worked all those details out.
But my mother was here at Puder Valley.
She was taken by way of ambulance up to the hospital, put into ICU.
There was nothing wrong with my mother's mind, her heart, her kidneys.
Nothing in her body was unhealthy other than her lungs.
She had pulmonary fibrosis.
It was a disease that hardens the lungs.
And she just could not breathe.
And it came to a place that she was put onto breathing machines and it became very real to all of us that she was not going to leave the hospital without those machines.
And therefore, she wasn't going to leave.
And God worked it out in a way to where my dad was able to be with my mother every day.
And one of us kids got to be there every day.
And so my mother got to spend one full day with every one of her kids.
All right, we're going to take a break and come right back.

I'm your host, Craig James.
We're going right back to Pastor Dean Miller and his sermon titled How to Face Your Final Enemy from Front Range Baptist Church right here in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Let's take a listen.
And she was in her full mind, and we have recordings of my mother preaching the gospel to doctors and nurses and all those things.
And she just was, she was totally at herself, but just not able to leave the hospital.
On Saturday morning, my oldest brother was going up there with my dad, and I got a phone call from my mom, and I was at home.
She said, son, has your dad left to come up to the hospital?
I said, yes, ma'am.
He just pulled out.
She said, okay.
I want you to know that I'm ready.
I'm ready to go home.
And I said, well, mother, I understand, but we're praying that you'll get better.
We're praying that you'll be able to come out of that hospital and come home.
She said, I know, son.
I know.
And thank you for praying.
But she said, Jesus is praying that I would be where he is.
And he always gets his prayers answered.
No offense, son, but he always gets his prayers answered.
And I said, yes, ma'am, I know.
She said, now, listen, I've already come to peace with that.
I'm ready to go.
She said, but I just need you to promise me that you're going to take care of your dad.
And I said, yes, ma'am, we will take care of dad.
She said, now, dad needs somebody to look after him.
And I said, I know.
Well, we will.
And she said, now, when he gets here, I have to ask his permission.
Now, you've got to remember, my mother was 16 when she married my dad.
They were married 63 years.
And she didn't have a dad, a father in her life.
So she had to ask my dad's permission if she could go to heaven.
And they wrestled with that that morning and finally came to an understanding that it was time to go.
They called us up there that afternoon, and we all gathered around her bedside, and we talked and shared memories, and we laughed together and cried some.
And finally, when we'd said about all that everybody knew to say, my mother finally just said, okay, go get the doctor.
It's time.
And so my brother slipped out of the room to go get the doctor.
And I, as the baby of the family, just reached down and grabbed my mom's hand.
I got right by her ear.
And I said, Mama, are you sure?
Are you sure?
And she looked at me and she said, son, death is the final enemy.
And he's been defeated.
And I watched over the next hour, I watched my mother smile in death's face.
And she went to be with the Lord with joy on her face, expectation in her heart, and such sweetness.
It was the most awful thing and yet the most beautiful thing I've ever witnessed in my life to see somebody smile at death.
Now I want to ask you a question.
How are you going to face your final enemy?
We all have to face him, and we're all in the bondage of sin and death.
But I want to tell you something.
Those of us who know Christ are not in bondage anymore because Jesus has come To set us free, Jesus said, You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
Whom the Son sets free is free indeed.
I mean, indeed, totally free.
Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
I love this week, July 4th.
I love July 4th.
I love celebrating our nation's independence and freedom and glad that we don't have to worry about what England thinks anymore.
And I'm just thankful for this nation and our freedoms and our liberties.
In fact, if you drove by my house, you're going to see so many American flags on that house.
You go inside the house, there's American flags.
My wife and I, we got engaged on July 4th.
I lost my independence on Independence Day.
But we got engaged on July 4th.
And, I mean, July 4th is a special day for us.
We love it.
I love this nation.
I love our country.
Colorado is so communist that you can't light fireworks.
I just told my wife, I'm going to save up $1,000 and pay the fine.
But we ought to explode some things around here.
And anyway, but I think we ought to be able to celebrate it how we want to.
Amen.
We're free.
This is the land of the free, except for communist Colorado.
But I love this time, but here's a fundamental flaw in our thinking about liberty and freedom.
There's something that's been missed in Liberty and Freedom, is that liberty is not the freedom to do as you please.
Liberty is the freedom to do as you ought.
That's a deep thought.
I want you to think about it for a minute.
That's why one of our founding fathers said, somebody said, what have you given us?
We've given you a republic if you can keep it.
Thomas Jefferson, the founder of our Constitution, said that the Constitution is only for a moral people.
Once the nation loses its moorings of morality and character, the Constitution has no bearing.
Why?
Because people will take the liberties that the Constitution guarantees and they will take those liberties to do what they want instead of taking the liberty to do as they ought.
Now I want you to understand something.
When Jesus set you free, he did not give you freedom to do whatever you want.
He gave you freedom to do as you should.
In other words, I'm not, see, this hyper grace movement has said, well, we're all saved by grace.
We can do whatever we want.
That's a lie from Satan.
Jesus did not shed his red, rich, royal blood at Calvary so that you have a license to live however you want.
He gave his life for you and then rose again from the dead to give his life to you so that he could live his life through you so that you could live a life to do what you should do.
Listen, I am free today not to do as Dean Miller wants.
I am free today to live as Dean Miller should through the power of Jesus Christ in me.
Does everybody understand that today?
Get your mind around that.
Ask the Lord to help you understand that.
Liberty is not for us to do with what we want.
It is to do with what we should.
And so the world is under this bondage of death.
And they don't know what to do with it.
But those of us who are saved ought to know what to do with it to avoid living an empty, vain, futile life.
Do you want to make the most of your life?
Then understand you're going to die.
Face that reality.
And then understand that death is certain.
Death runs in my family.
Death runs in your family.
It's appointed that a man wants to die.
There are no accidents.
Death is not an accident.
Death is an appointment.
And if you want to really live free, then you need to know how God wants you to live so that you know how to face the final enemy.
And Solomon is going to point out some ways that people approach the idea of death and the understanding of the bondage of death.
And he's going to show us how some people do it.
And I'll show you in verse number three.
Look at it.
Now he says in verse 2 that one thing happens to all.
It doesn't matter if you're a sinner or if you're righteous, if you go to the temple to make sacrifice, or if you don't go to the temple to make sacrifice, it doesn't matter if you're godly or if you're wicked.
There's one thing that happens to everybody.
Saved people die, unsaved people die.
Rich people die, poor people die.
Good people die, wicked people die.
There's one event that happens to all.
And look at verse 3.
This is an evil among all things that are done under the sun, that there is one event unto all.
Yea, also the heart of the sons of men is full of evil and madness is in their heart while they live.
And then after that, they go to the dead.
Now, watch what he's saying here.
He said, here's the way that some people approach it.
Number one, some people approach the reality of death by avoiding it.
They don't want to think about it.
The human species is the only species that knows it's going to die and is doing everything it can to forget it.
And there are people who say, I'm going to avoid the thought of death, so I'm just going to live with madness in my heart.
What does that mean?
I'm going to just go out and I'm going to live as though I will never die.
I'm going to live as though you only live once.
I'm going to live as though I have nothing to regret.
And I'm going to do whatever I can do to avoid the thought of death.
And they will drink themselves silly.
They will drug themselves silly.
They will spend asinine amounts of money on things that do not matter, trying to gain every pleasure and everything in life.
And in fact, these are the kind of people who are, they live by the law of the Epicureans, eat, drink, and be merry for tomorrow we shall die.
Look, YOLO, you only live once.
Just do whatever we got to do to enjoy this moment of pleasure and just go out and forget that we're going to die and go do whatever we want.
And I will tell you something.
This group of people, and the world's filled with them, but this group of people will do about anything to avoid the reality of death but repent.
They'll do anything to avoid the reality of death but repent.
They will go out and live in every pleasure, pursue everything that they can, and it's just madness in their heart.
The world's crazy.
The world is thinking of everything it can do to enjoy the fleeting moments that we have in this life without any thought of eternity and the future.
And the world is following this path of madness.
That's what some people do.
They avoid it.
Second of all, in verse number four: for to him that is joined to all the living, there is hope.
Now, that sounds pretty good.
For a living dog is better than a dead lion, for the living know that they shall die.
But the dead know not anything, neither have they any more reward, for the memory of them is forgotten.
Now, here's what Solomon's thinking.
Humanly, he's saying, number two, not only are there some people who are just full of madness trying to avoid the thought of death, there are some people who've embraced it.
And they know they're going to die, but here's their motto.
Where there is life, there is hope.
Now, on the surface, that sounds good.
In fact, this saying goes all the way back to a Greek play that was done way back in 4th century BC.
That was done way back then.
And in that play, a man made the statement, while there is life, there is hope.
And while that may seem true on its surface, the problem with that is, what that philosophy really does is it takes away the actual understanding of hope, and here's what it does.
It puts hope in hope itself.
Well, as long as I live, you know, I've got hope.
And we just kind of prolong the thought of death, and we think, well, I'm just going to, as long as I have life, I've got a chance.
I've got a chance.
As long as I'm alive, I've got a chance.
And here's the problem.
That is half true, but a half truth is a whole lie.
And there are some people who have a misplaced hope.
They put their hope in life.
And here's the problem with that.
Life is fleeting.
And so when you just have a hope in life, one of these days that life is going to end.
And Solomon said here, in that kind of thinking, when that happens, there is no more memory.
There's no more reward.
There's nothing.
You have lost everything when you die.
Because when you lose life, you lose hope.
And Solomon was saying, look, there are just some people who are just clawing at life, saying, well, I'm alive.
So as long as I'm alive, I'm going to live until I die.
And I'm going to put all of my hope in life.
Well, you know what?
That's a misplaced hope.
See, hope in hope is not hope.
Just the same as faith in faith is not faith.
My heart broke many years ago.
I was preaching a revival meeting in Canal Winchester, Ohio.
And it's the home of a big harvest church, big charismatic operation.
And they were having their world harvest days.
And they were calling all the sick from around the world to come and get their healing.
And the hotel that I was staying at was just jam-packed with people who had cancer and were paralyzed and had all kinds of disease.
And they were just loaded in my hotel.
And I mean, every floor was filled with people who had every type of malady and sickness.
And they were all going to world harvest to hear from rod parsley how they could get their healing.
And I would go preach at the revival, and I would come back to the hotel, and I would sit in the lobby.
And one by one, I'd watch the wheelchairs get unloaded from cars, and people get loaded into a wheelchair and be pushed in, and there are four lone faces.
I'd see the walkers of people coming in.
I'd see the bald heads of people who'd been through the tragedies of cancer and chemotherapy coming in with their tears running down their face with no healing.
I began to just sit in the lobby and talk with people.
What happened tonight?
I didn't get my healing.
Well, why not?
I didn't believe enough.
I had doubt.
Stay tuned.
We're coming right back.
We're going to listen to more of this sermon after the break.

Any major disaster, especially weather-related, when the power goes out, can cause people to suddenly panic.
Within hours, grocery store shelves in your area can be picked clean.
Food supply lines get interrupted and food is hard to find.
At that point, it's too late to do anything about it.
You must survive only on the food you already have in your home or risk waiting for the government to respond while you're standing in food lines.
So ask yourself, do you have enough food in your home to last for weeks or months?
That's why the smart move is to secure your family's personal supply of the most reliable emergency food you can buy.
Having at least four weeks worth of food is not a luxury.

Here's the problem with that.
Listen, faith in faith is not faith.
Faith and hope are only as good as the object that they're placed in.
Listen, you're not saved today because you really believe.
You don't have to conjure up some real strong belief.
Listen, a mustard seed of faith in the right object is enough.
A mustard seed of faith in Jesus is enough to save.
And a mustard seed of hope placed in Christ is not just hope in life.
It's hope that goes beyond life.
It's hope when the heart stops.
It's hope when the lungs stop.
It's hope when the grave is filled.
It's hope beyond the grave and beyond this life.
I don't just have hope in this life.
And by the way, Paul said this, if we only have hope in this life, we are of most men most miserable.
What a miserable thing it is.
You see people that say, well, as long as there's life, there's hope.
So I'm in a man, I'm in a diet, I'm going to exercise.
I'm going to cut this out.
I'm going to cut that out.
And listen, I've said this a thousand times before.
Take care of the body.
God's given you a temple.
Take care of it.
But listen, there are people who are, I mean, they are just robbing themselves of everything because they're holding on to, I've got to keep life.
And hope in hope is not hope, but hope in Christ is hope.
I mean, you know how foolish it sounded when Jesus stood at the grave of Lazarus and he said, hey, he that liveth and believeth in me shall never die.
And you say, well, wait a minute, Lazarus died.
But Lord, if you'd have been here, our brother hadn't died.
Oh, your brother didn't die.
He believed in me.
But Lord, he's been four days in there.
He stinks now.
Move the stone.
Lazarus, come here.
He got up and walked out.
He said, now take those graveclothes off him and go home.
Give him something to eat.
He wasn't dead.
He was alive.
There is life beyond the grave.
There is life when the heart and the body stops.
Life goes on.
Our hope is not in this life, this thread of life that we have.
Our hope is in Christ.
Do you understand that?
The Bible says in 1 Peter chapter 1 and verse 3, Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
In the book of 1 Timothy, Paul calls it the blessed hope.
We have hope.
We have hope.
And hope is not just as long as I'm alive.
My mother did not have hope in those machines that as long as there was life, there was hope.
No, there was hope beyond all of that.
And so you cannot go through life just trying to avoid the fact that you're going to die or endure the thought of death and just live while you live.
But there's a third thing that Solomon gives us here that I think is his glimpse of life above the sun.
Verse number seven.
Go thy way.
Eat thy bread with joy.
Here's his conclusion of this section, that death is certain.
So what do you do?
Go your way.
Eat thy bread with joy.
Drink thy wine with a merry heart.
For God now accepteth thy works.
Let thy garments be always white.
Let thy head lack no ointment.
Live joyfully with the wife whom thou lovest all the days of the life of thy vanity.
And then he says at the end of that verse, For that is thy portion in this life, and in thy labor which thou takest on the sun.
Wherefore, whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might.
What is Solomon saying?
Watch this.
There are people who look at the reality and the certainty of death, and they do all they can to avoid it, and they live in madness.
They're just trying to eat and drink and be merry.
We've got to just go out and figure out what's ever going to make me happy.
Follow your heart.
Do whatever you want.
Buy, get, drink, do whatever you want.
Then there are people who are just trying to endure life.
As long as I've got life, I've got hope.
I've got to hang on to life.
But then there's those of us who know God.
And there's those of us who know Christ.
And you don't have to avoid it.
You don't have to endure it.
You can enjoy it.
You can enjoy it.
But I want you to really think about this.
Are you really enjoying the life that God has given you?
Do you want to know how to waste your life?
Forget to be content with the things that God has given you.
You want to know how to waste your life?
Blow over the moments that are most important.
You want to know how to have a vain life?
Always have your eye on something out there that's going to make you happy and miss what's right in front of you.
So here's what Solomon said.
Solomon said, hey, everybody, stop.
Let me show you what you need to do.
Go your way.
Go back to your life.
Go your way is an implication of go back to your life.
Go back to what you have.
Go your way.
Go your way.
And he said, and then eat thy bread with joy and drink thy wine with a merry Heart.
Now, in the Jewish world, everybody would understand what this is.
This is a meal time.
This is a time to sit down with the family to eat a meal.
And Solomon was saying, Look, when it comes time to break bread, when it comes time to drink the cup, when it comes time to gather around the table, listen, they didn't just have all kinds of snacks.
If you understand Jewish life, their life was up in the morning and to the fields and to their work.
And they would gather in the evenings as a family and they would eat together at the table.
They would lie down on the floor and they would gather.
And listen, mealtime, mealtime was an occasion.
Mealtime was an event.
Still, if you go to the Middle East, when you go to a mealtime, it's an event.
I mean, it's something that the family looks forward to and they enjoy.
Listen, this is what Psalmist said.
Enjoy your family.
Enjoy the times that you get to be around the table together.
You don't know how many more times you have to sit down as a family and eat together.
You don't know how many more times you're all going to be together the way you are.
Enjoy that.
Don't pass over that.
Don't be so frustrated with what you don't have that you miss what you do have.
Don't be so paranoid about soaking in everything in this world that you forget the things that God has given to you in your family.
Enjoy your children.
They're not going to be little for long.
Yesterday I went out to the garage to get something.
I was fixing our stove.
Emily, our stove caught on fire.
One of those baby showers that we had a while back at my house, they were baking something in there and the whole oven caught on fire.
And thankfully they didn't use the fire extinguisher.
They used everything else.
It had salt grinders, baking powder.
No, they didn't.
They got it out.
But I finally got the part in and yesterday I was at home and yesterday afternoon and I was fixing that and I went out to get some tools for my toolbox and I walked out and my whole toolbox was organized.
And I looked around for a minute and all the organized tools, everything was in its place.
And then I missed my kids.
I missed when stuff was everywhere.
I came in the house and I fixed that thing.
My wife got home a little later and I just said you missed the kids.
Now I want you to think that we enjoyed our time with those kids.
We loved our kids.
We made museums of memories together and I thank God for that.
But some of you are blowing right past some of the most important things you have in your life and you're missing the things that are right in front of you.
Go your way and live with joy.
All right, we'll be back.
Stay tuned.
Stay tuned.

The great divinity of the tree, how does it go?
In the palm of the tree, there's a man who lives.
Welcome back to Just Forum Talk Radio.
We're going right back to Pastor Dean Miller's sermon.
With your family.
He said in verse number 8, let thy garments be always white.
Let thy head lack no ointment.
To the Jewish world, he's simply saying this.
In the Jewish world, you only broke out the white garments and the precious ointment on special occasions.
Weddings, big gatherings, it only happened once or twice a year.
Other days, it was just your normal garment and tunic and a little olive oil that you would anoint yourself with.
But here's what Saul was saying: and the Jews knew that he wasn't saying always wear white garments.
What he was just simply saying is: listen, make everything in life an event and an occasion.
Enjoy your friends.
When you come to church together, don't take this for granted.
We don't know how many times we're going to be gathered like we are today.
There are people who are not here today that were here six years ago when I got here.
There are people that used to sit in these chairs, nod their heads up and down, take notes that are now with the Lord.
And I don't have time.
I don't get to go out and give Helen Harms a hug or go see Dale Glitzky after church and shake his hand.
There are people who are with the Lord now.
We don't always get to gather like this.
Listen, enjoy the occasions that God gives us.
Be ready for them.
Be prepared for those occasions when you get to gather with your friends.
Get together with friends.
When you have friends at the house, when you get to gather with people that you love and that you know, enjoy that.
Make the most of that.
Enjoy life.
Enjoy the fellowship and the relationship that God has given you.
Some people say, well, I don't have any friends.
Well, look in the mirror.
He that hath friends must show himself.
If you want to have friends, be a friend.
Go find somebody to love on and be a friend with.
But enjoy those relationships.
Enjoy your life.
And then in verse 9, he says this, live joyfully with the wife whom thou lovest all the days of the life of thy vanity, which he hath given thee under the sun.
Listen, he said, enjoy your marriage.
Enjoy your marriage.
Listen, we live in a world, American philosophy has invaded even into the church mindset that marriage is miserable.
It's to be endured.
It's a bottle and chain.
We got this commitment that we've made together, and now we've got to keep it.
And you can't have fun, and you can't have joy.
And so what do we do?
We don't step outside of our marriage with somebody physically.
We just step out of it mentally and emotionally with pornography or whatever.
And we always think that there's something greener out there and something else to be enjoyed and that we're missing out on life.
Listen to me.
Stop that.
You men, put that stupid stuff down.
Get that sin out of your life.
Go into the kitchen.
Find your wife wherever she is in the house.
Hug her, kiss her, and enjoy that life together.
Marriage is not to be endured.
Marriage is to be enjoyed.
Stop your fussing and fighting and bickering and all of that.
Marriage is going to be a life together in a covenant relationship with one another and God.
It's going to have its ups.
It's going to have its downs.
It's going to have its thick and its thins.
It's going to have its wealth and its poverty.
It's going to have its trials and tribulations.
But I want to tell you something.
God made it.
And God made it to complete you.
God made it to make you one.
God made it to be enjoyed.
Go home and enjoy.
Stop thinking that there's something better.
Stop being so frustrated at the things that that person does.
That's the person God gave you.
They are a gift of God to you.
And if they frustrate you, they're a ministry to you to show you that you need patience.
If you get angry with them, it's a ministry that God has put in there.
They've given you, they're a ministry in your life that shows that you've got a temper problem.
Your spouse is God's gift to you.
He that findeth a wife findeth a good thing and obtaineth favor of the Lord.
I want to tell you, you're going to give an account how you've lived your life with your wife and your husband.
Our homes should not be arguing matches and debate halls.
They should be halls of love and joy and laughter and fun.
It's not always going to be sunshine.
There's some difficult things.
You've got to solve problems together.
But listen to me, when you solve problems together, don't attack the person.
Attack the problem.
Enjoy the wife of your youth.
You are joined to them.
God has given them all the days of your life.
All the days.
The good days and the bad days.
The up days and the down days.
The rich days and the poor days.
Michelle and I will celebrate 30 years coming up in January.
And I'm so grateful that we've had a marriage.
We've not had a perfect marriage by a long shot.
But we've had a marriage that has enjoyed.
We were talking about that yesterday.
We've enjoyed the stages of our marriage.
We were busy when our kids were little.
We were running around, ragged and haggard out, and trying to figure out how to keep up.
We had the little golf league and we were out golfing on Thursday night and Juliana came to take pictures for the church.
And she's got the men together and she said, Dad, why didn't you ever teach me to play golf when you were little?
I said, I was missing something back then.
She said, what?
I said, money.
I had three little girls.
I didn't have any money to take you to play golf.
But I will tell you this, we've been through the stages of life.
We've been through loss.
We've been through tears and heartache.
But listen to me.
You love each other.
You young people, listen to me.
You young people, just sit right up and just draw right up here and look at me in my eyes.
Don't you buy into this foolishness of the world that marriage is a ball and chain and it's a misery.
Don't you dare buy into that.
Hollywood projects it that way.
Everything in this society projects marriage to be the way to ruin your life.
You listen to me.
You listen to me.
Get married, young, and have some children, a bunch of them, and enjoy it.
Amen.
You don't get a whole lot of agreement on that in this world.
God doesn't know anything about these live-in marriages.
God doesn't know anything about these try-it-out marriages, and let's see if we're compatible.
Listen to me.
Get in that thing with God and love your spouse.
Let God's love flow through you.
Be who you're supposed to be in that marriage and enjoy it.
Enjoy every bit of it.
See, you know why the world thinks that marriage is so miserable?
Because they think that that marriage is keeping them out from something else that they should have.
Marriage is not a block.
It's a blessing.
Marriage is not a burden.
And my heart breaks for people who've been through the ravages of divorce and had somebody who did not love you like they were supposed to love you and tend to you like you were supposed to be tended to and didn't have a godly foundation to build on.
I look at our society today and my heart breaks for these marriages that have been broken and the lives that have been rendered.
And then we all pretend that the kids are okay.
The kids are not okay.
They just don't know how to express it.
Get married.
Enjoy it.
Go home.
Get on your knees before the Lord.
Tell the Lord that you're sorry for neglecting what you've neglected.
And then get up and get after it.
Amen and amen.
Our homes need to be filled with joy.
Listen, you know what?
Moms And dads, listen, your marriage, you're building a museum of memories for your children.
What do you want them to remember?
Oh man, mom was always bargaining on dad's tree.
Dad was always mad.
Listen, stop it.
Husbands love your wives.
Wives, submit yourselves to your husbands.
We'll be back.

Frederick Bastiat.
There's something happening here.
What it is ain't exactly clear.
There's a man with a gun over there telling me...
I got to beware I think it's time we stop children watch that sound everybody look what's going down Let's go finish up our sermon from Pastor Dean Miller.
follow their leadership reflect the life of jesus christ and his father and in doing so you will set a standard to your children of christ and the church and the love that he has for us a sacrificial beneficial all-fulfilling love amen you know that's good preaching right there sometimes i just want to come sit on the front row and say amen preacher preach on you need to you need you listen this world this world sees marriage as a bondage and children as a burden how
anti-god is that marriage was god's idea god gave you a wife love her there's nothing else out there better there's nothing out there better love your wife stop stop being foolish men be men ladies be ladies be godly be righteous and enjoy life good night no man i'll listen i there's so much i want to do right now and then i'll close with this and we're done he said enjoy your family
enjoy your friends enjoy your marriage and then verse number last part of verse number nine and verse number 10 for it is thy portion in this life and in thy labor which thou takest under the sun whatsoever thy hand find it to do do it with thy might for there is no work nor device nor knowledge nor wisdom in the grave whither thou goest
enjoy your work enjoy your work work is not a curse having a job is not a curse of the fall god listen way before sin ever came in the world god put a plant of the garden and then he made a man to tend it and keep it adam had a job before there was ever sin and that job had a had a purpose in adam's life it was a means watch this watch this if you go back to the very beginning and the rudiments of what god was doing when he gave man that garden and
he gave man a job let me tell you what your job is by the way you young people let me tell you what your job is your job is to do the things around the house your parents tell you to do keep your room clean that's your job mow the grass that's your job keep the garage straightened up that's your job do the laundry that's your job and whatever you put your hand to you do it with all your might and when you go back to the rudiments of why god instituted work as his purpose for man it was a means number one by which man glorified god his job and the way he tended to keep that garden was a means of bringing honor and glory to god and
showing god his worthiness did you know that your job is where you worship god i think we forget that as christians listen the greatest mission field in all the world is where christians go to work on monday morning and when we go to work on monday morning and we go grumpy and grumbling and into all the drama at the workways and we go there not wanting to be on monday i don't want to be here then people wonder listen listen you know what you know what the lost people at your job are wondering your lost people in your job
are not wondering about how to go to heaven they're not wondering about all that stuff they religion and god are the furthest things in their mind you know what they're trying to figure out they're just trying to figure out how to hack it, how to get through life.
And they see somebody who knows God and go, goes to church and says that they have a relationship with go to work in the same condition they do on monday morning they wonder well there's nothing to what you've got but if you can go to work on monday and you can go with joy in your heart and jesus on your face and you can say this is my ministry and this is the means by which i glorify go this is the means by which I provide for my family, this is the means by which I find purpose and meaning for my own life.
I'm going to put my hand to this thing, I'm going to do it with all everything God's given me, and I'm going to glorify God, I'm going to provide for my family, I'm going to find my purpose in life, I'm going to do my job with all I've got.
All right, that was Pastor Dean Miller and his sermon, How to Face Your Final Enemy.

Happy birthday, America, 249 years old.
It's so popular to talk about all of the things that are wrong about America, and there are things.
But this week, I want to focus on why America is the greatest country on earth, and in particular, why America is the greatest place to be an entrepreneur.
I'll give five amazing examples, and I'll start with number one right after this.

The passion of small business owners makes the country and the world better.
So many entrepreneurs are focused not just on making money, but making the world a better place.
My first business taught kids to be happy and self-confident.
Many kids went home with their first good friend because of that business.
Thousands of kids were happy and the world is a better place.

So thanks to them for being a sponsor.
GodsfeedingStation.org or GodsfeedingStar, the app.
All right.
So where to begin today is, well, we had a lot of stories over the weekend.
You know, you have this, clearly this communist socialist candidate who won the Democratic primary in New York City.
Clearly working right now to create a socialist government there in New York City.
They want to get this.
He literally said that one of their goals is to control the means of production.
And it's like you can't make this stuff up, to be quite honest.
It just writes itself at some point.
And I really do feel bad for the people of New York City who, you know, A, mostly don't want this, but B, the ones who do, it's like, forgive them, Father, for they know not what they do in that regard as far as the systems that they believe in and want to implement that have proven historically time and again to be very disastrous and destructive.
But here we are.
You know, it's like, oh, we're going to get it right this time.
I know communism killed, you know, hundreds of millions of people, but I mean, we're bound to get it right eventually, right?
To create our you little utopia.
You know, he wants to, this Zohran Mandani wanting to create his, what was it, the city owned and operated grocery stores, which, you know, so it's so crazy.
So he's like, all right, we're going to make these city-based, these city-owned and operated, so the city government's going to own and operate grocery stores.
And how's that going to make your costs cheaper?
Well, obviously, it's not going to be a for-profit corporation, right?
So everything's going to be cheaper, right?
They're not trying to make profit.
So why would anything be more expensive?
It's going to remove the capitalist, you know, stink that ruins everything, right?
The blithe of capitalism.
And it's kind of funny, just for me, you know, listening to the way they describe it as being like, oh, it's going to be great.
Well, I mean, so then you have to ask, how has government done at anything it's ever gotten involved with historically?
I mean, like, when you go to the DMV, do you get like exemplary service each time?
Are you treated like, you know, are you treated with kind and expedient service?
Or is it a nightmare?
Is it a complete and utter nightmare where you're sitting in line for hours on end waiting to go to one window where they then tell you that you need to go to another window, which will require another several hours of waiting?
You know, the efficiency with which these grocery stores will be run will be, it'll be a spectacle, to put it mildly.
I would almost be interested to take a trip to New York to see it, but then again, I'm sure we'll get a good taste of it online if it does, in fact, come to fruition.
If it even, you know, if and when it becomes to fruition, which, you know, government and how they, you know, build and operate things, it'll probably only take about, oh, I don't know, four to six years before they get one open, and then that one will become so inevitably it will become so inept and broken that it will be just another failed system.
But yeah, but they'll be able to say, hey, you know, we gave it a shot.
And it is what it is, but the worst part about this Zohron man, the Zohan, is that he's portraying himself as this, you know,
immigrant from the third world who's like an avowed communist socialist when his real upbringing couldn't be further from the truth, which is so indicative of everything in this world.
But let's take a second.
We're going to hit a break.
We come back.
I'm going to tell you about his background, right?
So as he portrays himself one way, who he is, in fact, is a little bit surprising, but not really, because this is something we see happen time and again.
So stay tuned.
We're going to get into it when we come back.
The reliance Americans have on their electrical system are at an all-time high.
From cooking to leisure to working and even medical needs, U.S. citizens rely on their power being stable and reliable.
Here in Colorado, that's easier said than done.
We're faced with wildfires, blizzards, and an overloaded grid.

Why does it seem America is slowly sinking?
Whose fault is it?
It's not Biden, Obama, or Trump.
It's not the Democrats or Republicans.
It's not the military, corporations, or foreign countries.
It's the Federal Reserve, a central banking system made up of private bankers that corrupt and control virtually all aspects of the world's money supply and the economy.
All of the major problems of the world can be traced back to the Federal Reserve and central banks of other countries.

Welcome back to SFOM Talk Radio.
I'm your host, Craig James, and you know, we're talking about this socialist communist candidate, Zohran Mamdani, the guy running for New York City mayor, and who's most likely going to be the next mayor, to be fair.
He was able to beat Chris Cuomo, not Chris, Anthony Cuomo, the other Cuomo brother for the mayoral primary for the Democratic Party in New York.
And it just was one of those things where Andrew Cuomo, excuse me, had to catch myself there.
But it just strikes me as so interesting to see communist propaganda in full effect.
And, you know, somebody pointed out, and I thought it was a reasonable thing to say.
They were saying, you know, it's sad that we have failed the people that the government has failed the people of New York so terribly that they're willing to turn to this clear and apparent communist to try to reorganize the city's government to make it more effective because they know how to say the right things and to appeal to the right voters.
And that's what they're doing right now.
And you got to give credit where it's due.
If there is one thing that, you know, people in these what they call democratic socialist organizations, but really communist organizations, what they are learning to do more effectively each day is to use propaganda to create the illusion that they are going to fix problems when history inevitably tells a different story,
which is that they will end up creating more problems and causing more heartache, more grief, more suffering, more pain, More loss, more of everything negative, pretty much for the majority of people, right?
Because communism is one of those interesting systems where it'll help some people and it will just abandon the rest.
And, you know, you could say, I guess, that about any system.
You could be of the mindset that that's like, well, that that's, you could apply it to anything.
But there is a sort of, you know, you go back and you look at communism and how it came to be and different places and what it did.
And there's almost no example of it ever succeeding.
And then people always say, well, look at socialism in Norway or, you know, Finland or whatever.
And you're like, yeah, but, you know, those are smaller populations, homogenous populations with very low, you know, crime.
And it's just, they're a different set of circumstances than most others.
And anyway, not to get off on a tangent.
The one thing I thought was really funny is that they're great at this propaganda.
And this Momdani's been advocating for his progressive policies.
He wants wealth redistribution, which is always a good thing.
Take the money away from the rich people and give it to the poor.
He's Robin Hood.
They want higher taxes on the rich because that's going to solve all their problems.
And basically, he's appealing to a certain class of voter that's saying, hey, I'm a third world.
I'm from a, I grew up in a third world country and I have a unique perspective that helps me to identify with people who are less fortunate.
And I see how the struggle is real.
So, and people also say that this Momdani guy, the Zohron guy, is good at code switching, which if you don't know what code switching is, it's this, it's a great example of code switching is like when Hillary Clinton would go to a black church in the South and start talking with a Southern twang,
and then she would go to some women's march or women's rally up in Connecticut and start talking with like that sort of proper Northeastern prim accent.
And it's the ability to basically play to an audience, to placate an audience by trying to disguise yourself as being one of those people, right?
Or like when Hillary Clinton went on that, you know, hip-hop radio station and was like, I carry hot sauce in my purse all the time.
What you talking about, Willis?
It's like, are you kidding me?
Like, okay, that seems disingenuous at best.
That's like the best thing you could say about it.
But regardless, Zohan, Mamdani, is doing this, but in a very unique way, or an interesting way at least, where he has this video that's kind of going viral on social media, right?
And you know, in Middle Eastern countries, it's in other, you know, outside the U.S., other countries, it is common for people to eat with their hands, right?
And they'll eat rice and other things with their hands in India, wherever, Asian, Middle Eastern countries.
And so what's hilarious is he's doing this interview.
And as he's doing the interview, he's got a, you know, like a Chick-fil-A, not Chick-fil-A, like, you know, like a burrito bowl or whatever from Chipotle, although I'm sure it's like probably not that.
It's probably something else.
But it's like a rice bowl with some food in it.
He's sitting there on tape and he's eating, you know, with his hand, with his fingers, like, you know, scooping rice out by the handful and just shoving it in his mouth, which is, if you're live in America, I mean, we typically eat with silverware, utensils at least, right?
And, you know, maybe he eats like that.
And I don't care how you eat.
That doesn't bother me at all.
But what bothers me is that there's clear and obvious video evidence of him eating things in the past where he's using a fork and knife.
Like he ate a burrito with a fork and knife.
So think about it.
He uses a fork and knife for a burrito, which is a handheld food item.
Yet here he's decided to eat a rice bowl with his fingers because, why?
Oh yeah, because he grew up in Uganda and he's from the third world.
He wants to make sure you know that when you watch this video, but I'll play the video.
It's a 20-second video, but it's just funny.
Listen to what he says about his upbringing.
So the third holy grail of taboos in American politics, you have socialism, you have Islam, and then you have Palestine.
And you are really going for the trifecta.
Let's go, baby.
Let's go.
Tell me, why is Palestine a part of your politics?
When you grow up as someone, especially in the third world, you have a very different understanding of the Palestinian struggle.
When you grow up as somebody in the third world.
So, I mean, we're to believe then, based off of his mannerisms and his eating with his hands, which is like commonly associated with cultures that have whatever.
Perhaps more associated with the third world than with the first world, because we have utensils that we tend to use.
But regardless, I don't care if you eat with your hands.
It does bother me.
But he's trying to portray something that he's not.
And how do I know that?
Well, interestingly, because his background is in fact a lot, well, let's just say different than that, in truth.
In truth, who is Mohran, what is his name?
Zohran Mamdani.
Right?
So people are pointing out a line that he pretends to speak for the oppressed, right?
But in fact, let's look at some facts that are kind of interesting about his upbringing.
He attended a $60,000 a year private school.
He ended up going to an elite college.
You say, well, that's, you know, maybe he got scholarships.
You know, he worked hard.
He bootstrapped it up there.
That's the American dream, right?
Well, probably not, considering that, of course, he is the son of a rather prominent Columbia College professor and a famous film producer.
And he now lives in a $2 million Chelsea apartment in New York City.
So his mother is a world famous Academy Award-nominated Bollywood director, hmm, propaganda much, you say, who's worth tens of millions of dollars.
And his father's a chaired professor at Columbia University in New York.
So, but he's eating rice with his hands, and he's from the third world.
Come on, guys, please.
Please.
It's just like every single time, inevitably, this happens.
And people still fall for it.
And in all fairness, you could easily blame the system itself, as corrupt as it is and broken as it is, for producing a person like this and giving them the ability to do this sort of deception.
Because honestly, I don't have any misconception about or misperception about this.
Like, it's as clear on his face as it is to anybody else.
This guy is, what would you call him?
The perpetual theater kid, somebody called him online.
You know, pretending to be third world in his little performative piece, you know, eating rice with his hands, trying to, you know, appeal to people he knows he needs to appeal to.
I mean, not to mention, you heard there in the clip, he's like, oh, I'm a socialist who loves, you know, the Palestine.
And it's like, okay, but what does that have to do with New York City?
Could you tell me how that is a pedigree for being the mayor of the largest city in the United States of America?
Please, sir?
Oh, no, you can't say that.
That's racist.
It's like, what, what?
No, I'm just literally asking, what does your affinity for socialism in Palestine have to do with running the largest city in the United States of America?
I mean, perhaps somebody could fill me in on that.
But it gets worse, ladies and gentlemen.
Here he is on socialism and what it really means for America.
Let's take a minute and let's listen to this because I have to say, you can't make this stuff up sometimes.
Listen to this.
What the purpose is about this entire project is not simply to raise class consciousness, but to win socialism.
And obviously, raising class consciousness is a critical part of that.
But making sure that we have candidates that both understand that and are willing to put that forward at every which moment that they have, at every which opportunity that they are given.
We have to continue to elect more socialists.
And we have to ensure that we are unapologetic about our socialism.
There are also other issues that we firmly believe in, whether it's BDS, right, or whether it's the end goal of seizing the means of production, where we do not have the same level of support at this very moment.
And what I want to say is that it is critical that the way that we organize, the way that we set up our work and our priorities, that we do not leave any one issue for the other, that we do not meet a moment and only look at what people are ready for, but that we are doing both of these things in tandem.
Because it is critical for us to both meet people where they're at and to also organize for what is correct and for what is right and to ensure that over time we can bring people to that issue.
The ramifications of victory here is the difference between life and death for so many of our brothers, sisters, and family beyond the binary across this borough of Queens.
It's the difference between having cash bail anymore and not.
It's the difference between having sex work be decriminalized and not.
And with every battle that we fight as socialists, we need to remember what the stakes are and ground ourselves in them and why those stakes are important and critical to us as individuals.
Sounds like a fun guy.
All right.
Well, we'll talk about this even more when we come back.
Stay tuned.

Welcome back to this Forum Talk Radio.
I'm your host, Craig James.
We're doing a little bit of a deep dive into some of the ideas being put forward by Zohron Mamdani, the Democratic Socialist, aka communist, who is running for the mayoral, to become the mayor of New York City.
And you can't help but listen to him speak and you're like, wait, this is who's going to be the mayor of the biggest city in the United States of America?
A guy who is an avowed communist who has spewed all kinds of communist rhetoric.
I mean, what we just heard in that clip before the break was him saying that they want the end goal of socialism, communism, is to seize the means of production.
But of course, that's not where it ends.
They want to, you know, decriminalize sex work because that's going to make our society more healthy and prosperous, right?
More prostitutes legally working in the streets.
It's like Colorado.
It's like, you know what's going to make our society way better and awesomer is if we make drugs legal, right?
Right?
Is anybody with me?
Let's make the hard drugs legal.
Let's give, you know, heroin addicts needles so they can go shoot up in the streets, says San Francisco.
So it's a terrible idea, as it always is.
He said that the end goal was season the means of production.
Yet I don't know if he said he's not a communist, but I mean, people are pointing out, like, well, it sounds like this guy's a communist, and he's also a new immigrant to the United States.
He's only been here, what, seven years or so?
And when you become a citizen of the United States through naturalization or however, you're asked a series of questions, and one of those is, you know, are you or have you ever been a member of the Communist Party?
To which surely he would have had to have said no, which in fact was a lie, which in fact means that his citizenship could be retroactively revoked because he lied on his immigration forms to become a citizen.
And that's thanks in part to things like the Communist Control Act of 1954, which thankfully was enacted to prevent the rise of communist influence in American politics for obvious and clear reasons that we shouldn't have to even go through,
but we will, in saying that it's associated with authoritarianism and complete economic failure for any state that implemented it on a large scale and even on small scales.
So you think about it, and this guy is literally spewing communist principles as his goal.
What is seizing the means of production?
What does it really mean?
It's basically where you take all the resources, all the tools, all the infrastructure, everything that's necessary to produce goods and services in an economy.
And you say there is no more private ownership.
This is state-owned.
Like he wants to do with these grocery stores, state-backed grocery stores, city-owned grocery stores.
And they'll call it collective ownership.
But what it really means is that there is no more private ownership and the government owns it and you don't.
That's what it means.
It's not collective or equal at all.
It's actually quite the inverse.
You don't even have an opportunity to own it.
The government owns it.
And therefore, if the government owns everything, then they own you too.
Right?
And that's what he's promoting.
This is all going back to Marx, you know, getting rid of the class system, getting rid of private ownership.
And where it inevitably leads in every communist revolution or uprising is the abolition of private property, the redistribution of wealth, they get rid of money and the market economy altogether.
Everything comes from central planning and is under the control of the state.
And in every example, it fails.
And it's destructive.
And it's, you know, millions of people die.
But no, you know, this time, this guy, this theater kid from New York sounds pretty convincing.
I mean, he's a third world, you know, immigrant from Uganda.
I mean, I know his mom's like a, you know, a multi-million dollar Academy Award-nominated, you know, producer for Bollywood films.
I know his dad's a chair professor at Columbia University.
I know he lives in a $2 million, you know, privately owned residence in Chelsea.
You know, I mean, but, you know, he's communist.
I mean, it's got to, he's going to do it this time.
He's got it in him.
I think he's going to do great.
I think he's probably figured out how to do this right.
I'm sure it's not going to end terribly for everyone involved.
And I feel bad for the people of New York City, I'll be honest.
But again, in many ways, it's like you reap what you sow.
And this is indicative of a failure politically as well on the opposite side of the aisle.
It's a failure on both sides of the aisle, really, Democrats and Republicans, to be quite honest.
That things have gotten so bad in New York, they're like, yeah, I think we'll try communism.
It's like, I mean, I shouldn't be surprised, though.
We live here in the great communist state of Colorado, where it should be no shock that communism can take effect very quickly, as we've seen happen in Denver and other parts throughout.
But I just find it so fascinating, you know, how we've gotten here.
And it's disturbing, and it's not good.
With God, all things are possible, so it can change and turn.
And, you know, you've got to look at some of these things in certain ways that, you know, with any hope, some good will come of it.
Even if the good is simply just that people will wake up once living under this system to how bad it is.
But you don't want to see people suffer needlessly.
And in this case, it would be completely needlessly.
They don't need to elect this guy.
They don't need to live in a communist state.
Just like we don't have to do it here.
Yet people come in and have just such a detachment from reality and morality and God that they will fill that void with anything they can find and they think that all their problems can be solved by man.
And it just never works out that way.
Liberty and freedom are what we should be looking toward.
And the systems that promote liberty and freedom in the best way that it can be promoted are the ones we should be looking to implement, not authoritarian communists.
And you know, the crazy thing is the language.
Oh, they'll say, you're an authoritarian because you're a fascist because you support Trump and he's deporting people.
And it's like, I understand you've been lied to.
I understand that our politicians have failed.
So you may believe that you're right, but you're wrong.
There's no world in which I will believe that communism will work because it doesn't.
But anyway, stay tuned.
We got a lot more to come.
We'll be back in just a bit.

Welcome back to Just Forum Talk Radio.
I'm your host, Craig James.
You know, it's funny because at this point, I mean, I'm not surprised that this is happening.
It's the writing's on the wall in so many different ways for a lot of these major cities, again, reaping what they sow.
You know, but I do, I often feel bad for these people who get caught in it.
I mean, Denver is a great example.
Look at what's happening just here in our state capital, right here in Colorado, not too far up the road from where I'm sitting here broadcasting.
You know, our state has been run by basically criminals for the better part of the last decade, if not longer.
And they're running it into the ground.
And they're more concerned about these social issues that are, you know, beyond the fact that they're based in this, you know, sort of evil and perverse ideology that has really infected our culture at large.
And I say that from the perspective of a Christian who believes in the Bible, who believes in what was written and believes in God and believes in living according to how we are taught through scripture by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
But even beyond that, which is to me the primary issue, you know, Denver is a cesspool.
You know, I see more people every day coming out and saying, you know, I live in Denver.
It was once a nice, wonderful place, and now it's just terrible.
It's crime-ridden.
It's dirty.
It's full of all of this abject evil, if you will.
And you ask, how does a city get that way?
It's because of the leadership.
It's because of a failure in leadership.
And what is Jared Polis doing over the weekend?
What's his big concern?
Riding a trike down the street with a bunch of moral degenerates waving the flags that are representative of their complete and total iniquity.
But I was trying to say something.
I'm trying to say it nicely.
Right?
Prideful about their iniquity.
Prideful about the rejection of God.
Prideful about the embracing of that which is against the natural order that God put things in.
Embracing that and not only embracing it for themselves, but encouraging others to do it, which if you read Romans 1 and you read all the way down to the end of that chapter, you will see clearly that it says that it's not just that those who do it are evil because they do it.
It's that they are evil because they encourage others and applaud others who do it as well.
And that's what we have.
The governor of our state, that's what he's doing.
The mayor of Denver, that's what he's doing.
The Secretary of State, that's what she's doing.
That's what they're all doing.
And it's beyond.
And it's like, as Rome burns, you know, it literally, it's the bread and circus.
As Denver burns, they are waving their rainbow flags and riding trikes down the street like toddlers, living in this complete and total outright rejection of God.
So we shouldn't be surprised.
I'm going to read some of these text messages because we've got a few.
Somewhere from the 720 says, with government-run grocery stores, it will be more expensive due to the fact that there will be more government employees, not to mention store maintenance that add more money to spend because it will be outsourced.
Money comes from where?
Taxpayers.
No kidding.
See, what you'll save at the grocery store, you'll pay in taxes.
And probably 10 times more than if the grocery store is run privately.
Because if you've ever looked at the contract process when they bid out contracts for the city, how corrupt that process is to begin with, as was pointed out by this texture.
But then the government's going to be paying for these people to work there.
The government's going to be paying for all the food.
And then the worst part is that, so then the Mamdani guy says, well, we're not going to work for profit.
It's going to be basically we're just going to sell it to you at cost.
Well, if the thing's not making money, then who's going to pay for it to operate?
The taxpayer.
So they're going to take the money out of your pocket on the back end instead of the front end.
And they're going to take probably about four to six to eight to ten times more money out of your pocket than you would if it was a privately owned enterprise.
But far be it from me to say, you know, somebody also texted and said that Uganda is a black nation In Africa, and that this guy was probably a part of some British colonialism, or his family was in the business class.
I don't know about any of that as far as what his background is from Uganda.
I mean, but I know the story of his parents and his upbringing.
You know, you're not a third world person if you went to a $60,000 a year private school.
I'm sorry.
And if your parents were very wealthy.
It's just like, it's just, it's all a lie.
Somebody asked, what did you think about what Bradley Dean had to say on Saturday?
I thought it was great.
I thought it was great.
I like Bradley.
He's a great guy.
He's very convicting to hear speak in his knowledge of scripture and his testimony.
And I think he's, I like what he says.
I think I have no problem with it.
I thought it was very on point.
All right.
And finally, oh, my good friend who I met, Dawn, at the picnic this weekend, she said, speak boldly, Craig.
And then she said, don't read it on air.
We got to put that in first or else I'm going to read it on air.
So I don't mind reading it on air.
I hope you don't either.
But yeah, thank you to all you guys that we met this weekend.
But that's it.
We're going to take our final break, come back, leave you guys with some hope and encouragement in the scripture.
And yeah, lot more to come.
Keep it locked in here.

The conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organized habits and opinions of the masses is an important element in democratic society.
Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible government, which is the true ruling power of our country.

Welcome back, Just Forum Talk Radio.
You know, we always leave you guys with some hope and encouragement in Scripture.
And we're going to be starting a new book this week.
But I feel sort of moved by the Holy Spirit to share this verse because I referenced it earlier today in the show, Romans chapter 1.
And I've shared this verse before, but I'll share it again because I want to make a point that as a Christian, I just, I read the scripture and I use that to find discernment in understanding what's right and what's wrong.
And this is clear as it could be.
And I love this verse because it explains that in no uncertain terms.
We talk about people who are full of pride, people who are working against God and workers of iniquity.
And I have to share it.
Romans 1, verse 28 through 32, it says this.
And because they did not think it worthwhile to acknowledge God, God delivered them over to a worthless mind to do what is morally wrong.
They are filled with all unrighteousness, evil, greed, and wickedness.
They are full of envy, murder, quarrels, deceit, and malice.
They are gossips, slanderers, God-haters, arrogant, proud, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, and unmerciful.
And although they know full well God's just sentence that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them, but even applaud others who practice them.
And that's just the scripture.
I'm just reading to you what it says in the Bible.
You see, the fall of man came in the garden with the fall to temptation that inevitably sentenced us all to death, right?
But then what happened?
But then our Lord and Savior Jesus came, and he died on that cross to deliver us into eternal salvation.
But in that eternal salvation and that hope and that grace that we find ourselves as believers, it would serve us well to remember that there are those in this world who reject God.
There are those in this world who embrace that which is evil.
And not only do they embrace it for themselves, but they encourage others to do it as well.
And those are the people we must pray for and rebuke and encourage to find Christ in their hearts and repent and leave the sin life that they are living.
So that's my message to all of you out there today.
And if you haven't had a relationship with Jesus, or even if it's been a while, open your heart, say a prayer, call upon his name, accept him as your Lord and Savior.
We'll be back tomorrow, God willing, to do it all over again.
Thanks to everybody, the textures, everybody at the picnic this weekend.
It was great seeing you.
We'll be back with more tomorrow, God willing.
Until then, I'm your host, Craig James.
