	Fed Chair Jerome Powell returns to Capitol Hill today to answer questions from the Senate Banking Committee.
	Powell said yesterday the economy is holding up.
	The Fed can wait before deciding whether to lower interest rates.
	But he also said current economic reports would have justified cutting if not for the uncertain impact of tariffs.
	FedEx share is down 5.5%.
	The company expects weaker demand for its shipping because tariffs have crushed demand for packages from China.

	I'm your host, Craig James, and we got a lot of stories to cover here today.
	I hope you guys are ready.
	You know, as usual, a lot happening in the world.
	President Trump in The Hague right now, dealing with NATO.
	And it really does look like they're rolling out the red carpet for him.
	They're trying to ingratiate themselves as much as they can to Trump to convince him to keep up the support of this Ukraine conflict because as we've already established, this battle that they're fighting is more is going to definitely benefit Europe more than it ever will benefit the United States of America.
	And they need Trump right now more than anything else.
	So that is definitely something they're working on, doing.
	They're doing everything they can to play to Trump's ego, if you will.
	But at the same time, here domestically, it looks like there is a battle of intelligence agencies brewing.
	You have leakers giving information to the fake news about battle damage assessments from Iran and the bombing campaign that President Trump signed off on, which took out, allegedly, Iranian nuclear production facilities, nuclear weapons production facilities, or at least the enrichment facilities for the uranium and other things.
	So CNN comes out and says, oh, we have intelligence, you know, leakers or whistleblowers, whatever you want to call them, sources, anonymous sources, although these are ostensibly criminals, who have said and indicated that the battle damage assessments,
	the real battle damage assessments from Iran show that there was not the amount of damage that's being put, portrayed by the Trump administration publicly, and that it really wasn't as devastating as it actually seemed to be.
	And, of course, this is leading them to go out and say, well, you know, Trump's basically failed.
	And the SIAP continues and never ends.
	And I think methinks there are foreign intelligence services who are helping to push and, you know, amplify these stories through our media, believe it or not.
	I mean, I know that sounds crazy.
	It's unbelievable to think that a foreign intelligence service, you know, perhaps one directly involved with this conflict, would have an interest in deceiving the American public about and causing, you know, a rift and chaos and,
	you know, sabotaging the efforts to conclude this saga in American interventionalism and, you know, to they want to, obviously, they want to perpetuate it.
	They want America to get involved.
	If there was an intelligence service from a foreign nation, I don't know, maybe Israel, I don't know, maybe, that had some way of influencing our media and then was exercising that capability by, you know,
	helping amplify stories that are sewn by leakers who want to sell a narrative that then they can use to further push us into more conflict because that's the desire.
	I would never say that that's what's happening, but, you know, many people are speculating something to that effect.
	Trump came out, though, very strongly and said what he felt about all of this.
	I want to play a short clip here, what his comments were this morning.
	This is about CNN and what the media is doing with this battle damage assessment story saying that the strikes didn't actually hit their intended target in the way that it was intended, at least.
	So let's listen to this.
	This was an unbelievable hit by genius pilots and genius people in the military.
	And they're not being given credit for it because we have scum that's in this group.
	And not all of you are.
	You have some great reporters, but you have scum.
	CNN is scum.
	MSDNC is scum.
	The New York Times is scum.
	They're bad people.
	They're sick.
	And what they've done is they're trying to make this unbelievable victory into something less.
	Now, even they admit that it was hit very hard, okay?
	But it wasn't hit hard.
	It was hit brutally and knocked it out.
	The original word that I used, I guess it got us in trouble because it's a strong word.
	It was obliteration.
	This was an unbelievable.
	Now, I've always thought it's interesting how Trump talks about the certain media outlets, you know, calling them scum and saying that they are essentially the worst people in media are, you know, DNC or MSNBC, CNN, New York Times, etc.
	And a lot of people always attribute that to, you know, Trump's a little bombastic and his rhetoric's usually strong and he likes to assign nicknames and all that stuff.
	But I think he knows something that most of the American public doesn't.
	And that is that these people are bought and paid for by our enemies.
	And I mean that in the sense of you have high levels of infiltration in media by foreign intelligence services, by ideologically driven zealots, if you will, who have an agenda.
	I mean, you know, you talk about the deep state and you talk about this sort of massive conspiracy, right?
	This is the thing that they always mock us for.
	It's like, oh, there's a conspiracy.
	Yeah, like we all get together in a meeting.
	And, well, you do, actually.
	What do you think it is when you have your production meetings over at CNN?
	I mean, you're literally plotting to sew your ideological, you know, initiatives into the American mainstream public narrative so that you can deceive, manipulate, and steer events.
	And, you know, I would say that, as with anything, I mean, I'm sure there are good people who work at CNN.
	I mean, I know some of them who used to work there and left.
	You know, I mean, Tucker Carlson used to work at CNN for Crying Out Loud.
	And it served a purpose at one point.
	But if you know what the level of infiltration is and how cooperative these media companies are with the intelligence agencies, then you know that the people reading the teleprompter at least have some idea that they are reading propaganda that's written by the government.
	And oftentimes it's coming from governments that are not the U.S. Right?
	It's like the whole Five Eyes things, Five Eyes spying thing.
	You have this alliance between these five countries, U.S., Canada, Britain, New Zealand, Australia.
	And then they go spy on each other so that they can avoid being involved or being Held under laws of other countries, right?
	So it's the same thing with the media.
	You have foreign intelligence services infiltrating our media, doing the dirty work of our own establishment.
	Anyway, stay tuned.

	I'm your host, Craig James, and it goes so much deeper beyond what we've been talking about so far here today.
	And I'll explain.
	I mean, we're talking about this battle damage assessment that was leaked to CNN, who then went out and said basically that the strikes that Trump authorized were not as devastating.
	So remember, we're talking about foreign influence.
	I got to fall on a tangent about foreign influence in our media, but you say to what end, right?
	So it's not just about the battle damage assessment itself.
	Why?
	What's the intention behind it?
	Why would a foreign influence operation seek to work to undermine the battle damage assessment?
	Because A, you have infiltration inside of our government, right?
	So it's the problem that we see with dual citizenship and dual allegiances and the number of people who have dual citizenship who work within government and serve the interest of foreign countries like Israel, but not exclusively Israel.
	We have plenty of other examples, many of which are African, North African countries.
	You have Middle Eastern countries.
	You have some European countries to a degree.
	So there's obviously you have Asian countries.
	So it's not just an Israel thing, but you say to what end?
	Why would it serve them to have this battle damage assessment leak, quote unquote, right?
	Criminally be fed to the media and be, you know, to draw the narrative that the facilities were not destroyed by Trump's strikes.
	Why would they do that, you ask?
	Now, many of you probably already know the answer to this, but I'll say it for anybody who's not following.
	Because you want to continue the war.
	So if you're Israel, hypothetically, and you've been forced into the ceasefire by Trump, hypothetically, because he basically, it's come out now that basically what happened was the head of the CIA,
	John Ratcliffe, who's been involved with, obviously through his agency, intelligence sharing with Israel's Mossad, has basically the way they got the Israeli government to acquiesce to the ceasefire was they said, look, if you keep launching these attacks on Iran and not agreeing to this ceasefire, we're going to stop intelligence sharing.
	And that's problematic for them.
	So they stopped.
	And plus, as it's been reported in many different outlets, you know, they were running low on the artillery that they needed for the missile defense batteries that were stopping these missile attacks from coming in, like the Patriot defense, missile defense system and everything else.
	They were running low in their stockpiles on the missiles necessary to counter the missiles that were coming in, right?
	So that was what seems to be what they're saying was happening, the kind of context behind it.
	Because Remember, when Trump announced the ceasefire, it was almost immediate that Israel launched this massive attack on Iran.
	And then apparently, you know, Iran launched a massive counterattack, which is why everybody was saying, oh, you know, all hope is lost.
	All hope is lost.
	The ceasefires failed.
	And this is when Trump came out the next day and was like, these people don't know what the F they're doing.
	These people, you know, basically pissed off at Iran, but also equally, if not more, pissed off at Israel.
	Because Bibi Netyahu and his regime weren't following the terms of the agreement, which they obviously were a part of brokering.
	So you have this situation.
	So you ask, why?
	Why do they leak to CNN the battle damage assessment narrative, right?
	Because what it's looking like now is that the battle damage assessment is one of those things where CNN wasn't given the actual battle damage assessment.
	They were told about it, which is a big difference, right?
	Because if I hold the classified document that says here are the logistical implications of the battle, you know, the strike on this facility, here's the satellite imagery.
	Here's what we know about the payloads that were used and what damage they could cause and where they struck and what, you know, et cetera, et cetera.
	You know, the seismic impact.
	Because, I mean, they have sensors and satellites and everything.
	Trust me.
	When the military launches a strike, they know down to a very fine detail exactly what damage they did, especially when you're talking about stealth bombers launching these J-Damn bunker buster missiles and a very precise target.
	They know.
	Trust me, they know.
	I mean, we'll have Nick No on tomorrow.
	And that was like, I'm not going to say I know that that was part of his job.
	I presume that was part of his job.
	I'm only making presumptions now.
	I'm not going off of anything he told me because I know that from what he did, he's not allowed to say a lot about what he did, but I could only guess and surmise based off of what he said publicly about his job that when you're in these central command places as he was, he was in the Air Force.
	He was an airman who was in the business of collecting real-time data off the battlefield and manufacturing reports for high-ranking officers to then make decisions in real time on the battlefield in highly secretive areas,
	let's just say, the central commands that they see.
	I mean, I'm only guessing, because again, I'm not going to say that I've been told any of this, but I'm guessing that they have the capability, based on, you know, my hunch, let's just say, an intuition, that they know everything.
	The Babylonians assessment is precise, let's just say.
	So it's not like CNN had that.
	No, no, no.
	They had some source, quote unquote, inside an anonymous source, inside of some department, perhaps the CIA, perhaps the DNI, who knows, one of these deep state sleeper cell leave behinds in one of these organizations who claims to have seen the battle damage assessment and then gave a report of what they say it said.
	And they said, well, look, you know, this battle damage assessment was, you know, they didn't really destroy it.
	So again, now the question is, to what end and for what purpose would they do that?
	Especially if you believe people like, let's just say, Marco Rubio, right?
	Here he is.
	I want to play Marco Rubio's characterization of all this about the leakers who put this information out, the battle damage assessment information who leaked it.
	This is his characterization of those people.
	Listen to this.
	First of all, all this stuff about the intelligence, this is what a leaker is telling you the intelligence says.
	That's the game these people play.
	They read it, and then they go out and characterize it the way they want it characterized, and they're leakers.
	This is the game they play.
	So that's number one.
	Number two, here's a fact.
	The conversion facility, which you can't do a nuclear weapon without a conversion facility.
	We can't even find where it is, where it used to be on the map.
	You can't even find where it used to be, because the whole thing is just blackened out.
	It's gone.
	It's wiped out.
	It's wiped out.
	Then we dropped 12 of the strongest bombs on the planet right down the hole in two places.
	Everything underneath that mountain is in bad shape.
	And I refer you to the statement of the IAEA, Mr. Grossi.
	You know what he said?
	He said there was Iraq, the way it looked the day before the attack, and what their nuclear program looks like now.
	Two very different things.
	They are way behind where they were just seven days ago.
	Now, anything in the world can be rebuilt.
	But now we know where it is.
	And if they try to rebuild it, we'll have options there as well.
	But all this leaker stuff, these leakers are professional stabbers.
	That's what they are.
	They go out and they read this stuff, and then they tell you what it says against the law, but they characterize it for you in a way that's absolutely false.
	There's no way Iran comes to the table of somehow nothing had happened.
	This was complete and total obliteration.
	They're in bad shape.
	They are way behind today compared to where they were just seven days ago because of what the president said.
	All right, so that's Marco Rubio's characterization of what the leaks said from this battle to image assessment.
	So again, the question then becomes to what end, for what purpose, would they do it?
	Well, obviously, if you're in Israel or you're a pro-Israel person who is working at their behest or because you're ideologically driven to have a proclivity toward supporting Israel in this conflict, or there's other scenarios with other allegiances and things you could infer.
	But let's just stick with that one because that seems to be like a more than likely one.
	Well, then, of course, you're going to leak the information and paint the narrative that the facility is not destroyed.
	Why?
	Because as we've been saying all week, what Trump did with this strike on the nuclear facility took away Israel's justification and predicate for going to war with Iran.
	And if you want Israel to go to war with Iran and you want the United States to support Israel's war in Iran, you need to convince the public to put pressure on the administration to do so.
	And you need to create the public support and the justification, both logistically and morally, pragmatically, to do so.
	So you come out and you say, well, the strikes Trump did didn't actually destroy the nuclear capability of Iran.
	So therefore, we still have to go to war with them.
	And the United States needs to support it.
	And you have to be, we got to put boots on the ground in Iran, which is what Trump's trying to avoid, obviously and clearly.
	I've been listening to a lot of, you know, sort of analytical breakdowns to try to get a better understanding of this, right?
	I've been reading a lot of articles.
	I've been trying to get a grasp on what's going on here.
	And what it seems as though is that everything I've said from day one is essentially what is happening to a degree.
	I'm not saying I'm like no Shadamis or anything.
	I'm just saying, you know, reading the tea leaves from day one, it would seem as though it does not serve Trump's domestic agenda to get into a never-ending conflict in the Middle East with boots on the ground.
	And it certainly is why he's trying to withdraw and pull back in the Russia-Ukraine conflict because he doesn't want a conflict there.
	And I've heard analysts point out, people who have a good understanding of this, that the real thrust of where the Trump administration would like to direct its efforts is in the Asian Pacific theater, Where we really have a very limited presence, and China is taking over.
	But there's chaos in the Middle East, there's chaos in Eastern Europe, and we are very preoccupied with that.
	Not to mention, again, the domestic agenda for Trump is, you know, he wants to work on the United States and rebuilding the economy, getting the interest rates down, getting, you know, tax cuts in.
	He wants this big, beautiful bill, which I'll be honest, you know, it's a horrific bill, if we're being quite honest.
	But what are you going to do?
	I think that sometimes you have to take what you can get.
	And for better or worse, government is always going to be about compromise.
	At least in a democratic society with a federal republic system like we have.
	I mean, there's going to be some level of compromise.
	Although, I don't know that I enjoy compromising with some of these people because they're psychotic lunatics who want to destroy America.
	So I don't want to compromise with those people, but there are compromises that can be made with those who are less so inclined.

	So, you know, we're talking about this whole, I mean, this Iran story, it's all-consuming.
	And I think it is an important point in time, right, to see Trump, you know, establishing himself as separate and apart from something that he's been accused of being in lockstep with for a very long time.
	And that is having an affinity for upholding the interests of a country like Israel over the United States.
	If you haven't been paying attention, he's been accused of that quite often, right?
	And they'll point to all kinds of things that are indicative of his support for Israel over the United States.
	But I think this is going to be a moment in time where we will see his true colors as to whether or not that is true.
	And again, I am the kind of person I love this country.
	I want this country to succeed.
	I was born here.
	I was raised here.
	My family is from here, you know, for as long as we can go back down the line.
	And I love this country and I want to see it thrive and succeed.
	And I believe Trump feels the same way.
	And I don't think that his I don't think the people are correct when they say that he has an affinity for upholding the to prioritize one country like Israel over the United States.
	And that's sort of being shown out here, proven out here.
	And this is in the face of a lot of people who believe that either it should be held in a higher priority or it should be at least held in the same priority or regard, which I do not believe in.
	And it's not to say that I don't want the people of Israel to be happy and healthy and prosperous in their own lives and what they do.
	It has nothing to do with that.
	But if they're trying to pull us into a kinetic war, another never-ending war in the Middle East where we send all of our blood and treasure into this battle that will end up facilitating what they've done historically in these other battles and all for some, I don't even know.
	There's a lot of reasons.
	I don't want to get through them because then I'll just sit here all day talking about that.
	But for the same reasons that we went into those other conflicts, like Iraq, I don't think that that is going to serve the United States and its interests, particularly when we have much bigger problems at hand and much bigger,
	like we have communists coming here and taking over and running for Congress and winning, you know, mayoral primaries like we just saw in New York, like avowed open communists from other countries who've only been here like five or six or seven years, who are now going to be running the largest city in our country as like open and avowed communists.
	That's a big deal.
	Probably want to focus on that.
	But I digress.
	People say Trump's got this affinity toward Israel that is, you know, whatever.
	And I think to the degree that he has shown a high level of support for Israel in the past, you could make that argument.
	But now I think it's becoming clear that, you know, when the rubber meets the road, as it is here in this conflict, Trump is doing everything in his power, it seems, to not only avoid this conflict, but he's basically establishing a hierarchy with Israel to say, you know, we support you to the extent that we support you, but we do not support you above our own nation and its interests.
	Right?
	Which I think is fair and reasonable.
	Especially given, you know, the situation that's unfolding.
	Look, I don't want to see Iran bomb Israel, and I don't want to see Israel bomb Iran.
	I don't want to see them murder each other indiscriminately, as it seems they are now.
	Nobody wants that.
	But then you have to ask yourself, what does our intervention do?
	Does it make things better or worse?
	And as it seems to be playing out now, it looks like what Trump's real effort is toward is establishing peace.
	He's got these Abrahamic Accords, which are at least a step in the right direction toward brokering some sort of peace in that region as the conflict is very high.
	And not to mention the fact, again, we have other conflicts in other regions that are very pressing, Ukraine particularly, but also Chinese expansionism and infiltration of the U.S. and what they've done with everything from espionage to corporate sabotage to everything.
	And then there are other flashpoints across the world.
	There's the economic system that's on the brink of collapse in some ways.
	So look, again, I digress, but I'll tell you, it's interesting to think about Trump's positions over the years and how they've been pretty consistent.

	I'm your host, Craig James, and I just find it interesting that, you know, for Trump particularly, it's like a guy who spent the last 10 years essentially campaigning on the concept that, you know, this the U.S. interventionism in the Middle East was wrong and very detrimental, disastrous for the United States.
	A guy who spent the last, you know, 20, 25 years talking about how the Iraq war was a waste of time and money and how Obama is corrupt for the Iran nuclear deal and what, pointing out all these things and talking about Syria,
	talking about all these other places, and saying how basically idiotic and foolish the leadership has been for the last couple decades at least in regard to these conflicts,
	but even perhaps beyond, if you go back further and listen to some of the things he said, for him to now just get in there and people are like, oh yeah, he's going to put us in, you know, World War III with the, I mean, yeah, it may appear that way.
	And to a degree, you want your enemies to believe that you're capable of such things.
	As was pointed out, it's like, otherwise, how do you get them to come to the table to negotiate peace if they're not, if they don't believe you're capable of war, right?
	Because then it's like you don't have leverage if you don't have that.
	So I get it to that.
	I understand to that regard you want it to be to look like it.
	But I mean, a guy who spent his whole life saying all those things now has just decided all of a sudden, hey, I'm going to go back on it all.
	And I, again, I was set it from the beginning.
	I left room from day one of all this sort of breaking out a few weeks ago.
	I said, I'll give room for the benefit of the doubt to Trump to say that it appears as though he's ready to go to war.
	And that would be, in fact, an example of him completely, you know, going against his original campaign promises and what he's believed.
	But I said, I'll leave room for the benefit of the doubt to say that there's something more here and that this is all, you know, sort of optics.
	This is what they want you to see.
	Turns out it looks like I was more right than wrong.
	Not that I'm one of those people who go online and go, I was right.
	You need to apologize to me right now.
	Those people I find insufferable.
	I don't know if you feel the same way.
	You know, if it weren't for this job, I honestly, I would not be on social media.
	I sometimes daydream about a future where I don't have to go on social media because honestly, I need to go on social media.
	Otherwise, I wouldn't be able to get the information to share with you here.
	And I hope that for some, perhaps even, I'm able to do it so that you don't have to.
	But unfortunately, I have to live in that world where I need to go on social media and I don't enjoy it.
	I've been doing this for close to a decade now.
	Like this, what I'm doing here.
	And I've had to be a part of it and in it for that long.
	And it's exhausting.
	And you see the same thing over and over again.
	And so when I watch these people fight about Trump online, that's why I've come to the point where I try to remind myself, like, be on the middle path.
	Be even keeled.
	Don't get rattled.
	I used to let it get me going one way or the other.
	I used to get really upset or really happy.
	But I found that doing that ultimately would leave me, you know, dissatisfied and feeling worse afterward because it's what they, you know, you can take, you can disarm the power of this manipulation if you understand it to a degree, right?
	And if you understand what the game is.
	For instance, when they tell you Trump is betraying his base, right?
	When you hear whoever it is, right?
	I don't know.
	You pick the influencer.
	I don't want to say names because somebody will be like, oh, that person's this or that.
	But you pick the influencer you follow.
	And they come out and they say, Trump's great.
	You're like, yeah, Trump's great.
	I agree with you.
	Or they come out and say, Trump's bad.
	And you're like, oh, yeah, Trump's bad.
	I agree with you.
	Right?
	In the same way, there are people out there who will come out and say things to intentionally create conflict because they themselves can opportunistically benefit from the conflict which it creates.
	Because ultimately, at the end of the day, the only thing that matters on social media when you're in this business, whether you're an influencer or a podcaster or a news reporter or a, you know, you name it, a journalist, the only thing that matters at the end of the day is engagement.
	And they will get you to engage one way or the other.
	They will either say what you want to hear and get you to agree and engage that way, or they'll say the opposite of what you want to hear and get you to agree and engage that way.
	But if they don't do one of those two things, then you can bet your bottom dollar and their bottom dollar too, that they won't last long in this business, or at least they won't be able to grow to the level that others may be able to get to.
	There are very few who can transcend that paradigm.
	Because like I said, at the end of the day, folks, it's about engagement.
	It's about getting you to engage with their content, with their opinions, with their, you know, you're either liking it or you're hating it enough to comment about it.
	And when you comment and you follow And you get entranced by this machine, it locks your attention, it locks your effort into your focus, I should say, into it.
	So that's what they want.
	But one day it'll be no more.

	cultural whatever it's it's all it's all intertwined right and that's one of the things I've kind of observed from all of this too is how the media landscape is evolving and I think it's worth mentioning and this came from the conversation we were having about how people were portraying Trump in a certain way to say he has an allegiance or an affinity toward you know Israel ahead of or
	above his his allegiance or affinity toward the United States right and this is this created a series of conflicts online you know you have Alex Jones and Mark Levin going at it you know or Alex Jones and Candace Owens kind of going against Mark Levin and Ben Shapiro and you know you have all these different people those are just some of the more notable ones and
	you have all and then down the line it causes the the engagement to increase because people are you know the conflict it inevitably creates more engagement than you know agreement right and I was saying that you know I'm not one of those people who's gonna go out and say you know I demand you apologize because I was right I've seen that so
	much over the last few days on social media not only is it like an exercise in vanity and ego to watch these people who are so concerned with being right all the time and look I like to be right as much as the next guy I prefer to be correct in my assessments but these people are like their career depends on it and
	they lack the humility to be able to say they were wrong very few people have that capability heck I'd say Trump doesn't have it very well doesn't have I've never heard him say he was wrong so he's not even in possession of it and you know a lot of times they'll say that's what you know being a leader is is sticking with your decision no matter what which
	I think is foolish I think you should at least have the capability of understanding when you get something wrong so that you can correct yourself and make it right but when we get back I have something interesting I'm gonna try to find this clip and I'm gonna talk a little bit more about it and then we'll get into some other news stories lot more to come.

	So I said before the break, you know, what I really want to do is take a second and kind of expand further on what, you know, before we get into other stories, because I had mentioned, you know, what social media is and what it seeks to do.
	And at the end of the day, many people are consumed by it, but you can disarm its power, its influence to a degree if you understand it and how it works.
	So perhaps I'll help you if you are in that or you know somebody who's sort of in that sphere of influence, right?
	Where they're almost becoming consumed by social media.
	Well, I'll give you some information and facts that should help, perhaps, right?
	With it.
	Because I think social media, it's like a drug.
	And like any drug, it is and has very addictive nature, a very addictive nature to it.
	And many people are, in fact, addicted to it today in our society.
	And I know this is sort of a digression away from what we were talking about before.
	And we'll get back to that to a degree with some other stories in what's happening with Iran or Israel.
	But I think this all stemmed from me talking about how I see behaviors online that are so are such an example of this that I have to comment on it because these become particularly the more sensitive or controversial the subject matter, the more these behaviors become pronounced.
	And I'm reminded of a conversation that was had by a former CEO or head of Facebook, Sean Parker.
	He's the guy, he's in that movie, the network or whatever it's called.
	And he's the guy who made Napster and then went over and worked with Zuckerberg to make Facebook.
	And he was one of the early leaders of Facebook, as a matter of fact.
	And in 2017, he was interviewed.
	I think it was with Axios.
	He gave an interview, but it could be, it could have been someone else.
	And they were talking about why he left Facebook, right?
	What he saw wrong with Facebook.
	Why did he step down?
	Why did he step away?
	And this guy who made Napster, he was a hacker, kind of a, you know, a brainy computer nerd hacker type guy.
	And this is what he said in that 2017 interview.
	He also was Instagram's founders, or he said this, excuse me.
	He said, Facebook's and Instagram's founders goal was to create a social validation feedback loop.
	Exactly the kind of thing that a hacker like myself, Sean Parker said, would come up with because you're exploiting a vulnerability in human psychology.
	It goes on, and this is an excerpt from a book that wrote about it.
	It says, but when the programmers quantified prestige based on clicks of others, they hacked our psychology in ways that have been disastrous for young people's social development.
	On social media platforms, the ancient link between excellence and prestige can be severed more easily than ever.
	So in following influencers who become famous for what they do in the virtual world, you can be awarded prestige and excellence in this virtual world that ultimately creates a vulnerability that's Being exploited in human psychology.
	And he talks about this and expands upon it further when he talks about how these platforms are perfecting the art of exploiting human psychology in children because they understand the utility of getting children addicted to their products.
	And he also talked about making their products as addictive as is humanly possible.
	It's something we don't discuss ever as a society, really.
	When the last time you've heard anybody discuss this, obvious and clear fact.
	Look at yourself in the mirror, or look at your family, or look at your friends, look at perhaps your children or your grandchildren.
	And look at the way they use these products.
	Look at how all-consuming it is.
	As Sean Parker said, as a hacker would find an exploitation, a vulnerability, or find a vulnerability in a system to exploit it, is the same way that these social media companies have found vulnerabilities in human psychology that are being exploited.
	it.
	And I just think I've found in my life that it's rather it can help to disarm it when you understand it at that level.
	And maybe that'll help you with your family or friends and talking to them about it.

	But the point I was trying to make was not that it's, I mean, like, I was right, but that doesn't mean that I need to be apologized to by people who said I was wrong.
	And I think that was the point I was trying to make.
	But half the time I don't want to be right.
	And the other point I was making is that if I am wrong, I have enough humility to accept that I was wrong and candidly admit that I was wrong and then try to learn to become better about being right in the future.
	So what I was trying to show is that there are people online who not only cannot accept the fact that they are wrong from time to time or more often than not even, but who continually have an expectation that as they are proven right on other things, that they deserve some kind of, you know, respect or, I don't know, acquiescence.
	Is that the right word?
	Perhaps?
	Perhaps not.
	Who knows?
	They should be sort of acquiesced to in that way to say, oh, well, he was right.
	And I'm so sorry for ever doubting your magnificent and glorious intelligence, my Lord.
	There's no expectation of that on my end.
	I try to be humble enough to know I'm learning with everyone else.
	But I like to think I have a better grasp on things just because I sit here and do this every day.
	Just like you're probably better at your job than I would be, right?
	If you like, let's say you sell insurance, you're probably the best insurance salesman that you know.
	Maybe you know someone better, maybe you don't.
	But you're probably certainly better at selling insurance than I am.
	Now, that's a random example.
	Maybe I'd be a great insurance salesman.
	I don't know.
	I haven't done that yet.
	I haven't tried it.
	But the point is that, you know, being right is not, it's not bad to say you were right about something.
	It's bad to be like, I was right, therefore you were wrong about telling me I was wrong.
	So I deserve an apology from you.
	And not only do I deserve it, I demand one.
	I demand an apology.
	That I think is.
	And again, the whole point, I guess, of the whole conversation was talking about how social media works and how people, like with Sean Parker was saying, know exactly how to take the system, right, and game it, right?
	That's why you have people that they do things called, it's called ragebait or clickbait in some other ways.
	They'll say something so controversial knowing that it's going to piss off enough people that it will get them to engage with their content, which will in and of itself boost and elevate their status on this plat on whatever platform it is.
	Because then they will get more engagement, which will force the algorithm to give them more coverage and more exposure.
	And this is, and again, it's not about elevating the best or brightest or most popular ideas.
	It's just about promoting and elevating the ideas and issues that create the most conflict.
	And to me, again, having done this for coming up here on a decade, so you know, you know you're getting old when you measure things in decades.
	I just, I feel like there is a strong correlation between the degradation of society in the real world and this behavior that is growing and fomenting in the digital world.
	So again, we can probably trace a lot of the issues of today to this new environment in which we find ourselves, digitally speaking.
	Anyway, our friend Henry texted in and said, Warren Worsby, speaking on simple-minded people who social media influences prey on, said, quote, the simple are the naive people who believe everything because they don't have convictions about anything.
	What they think is sophisticated tolerance is only spiritual ignorance because they lack the ability to discriminate between truth and error.
	Well, that's a profound way of putting it.
	That's a much more intelligent way of saying sort of what I'm trying to say.
	So thank you for that.
	And thank you to Warren Worsby for speaking those words into existence at some point.
	So I think that there's a certain element of it that goes to that.
	And somebody else laughed and said, or no, the same person texted and said, and so many were right, or so many right about Candace, I guess Candace Owens.
	They were laughing.
	I don't know what that's even a reference to because there's so many different things you could be referencing.
	But I'm assuming you're talking about Candace Owens.
	And she was right about a lot of things.
	Okay.
	I mean, yeah.
	I'll always, and that's the other thing.
	You know, people are like, oh, they can't.
	It's like, if somebody's right, I'll say they're right.
	This is where we've lost, I think, especially political discourse in this country.
	We're like, if I will disagree with you predicated on only the fact that you are of the opposite political affiliation than I, which has eliminated all common ground, which has fomented this incredible division, which has driven us into this hyperparity, which has now created, you know, some good things and some bad things.
	Because the hyperpolarization has, of course, created bad things in the sense of division that causes, you know, a rift and then that makes us weaker.
	But it also has pushed people to be ideologically more firm in their beliefs as opposed to being malleable and naive.
	But that's not everyone, of course.
	And you've got to go about a case-by-case basis for it.
	However, that's kind of what I've seen in my time on this planet so far.
	But again, what do I know?
	What do I know?
	I'm just a man.
	Now, the big story, I guess, that everybody's waking up to this morning is the mayoral primary for the Democrat Party in New York City.
	Interesting story.
	So, the story goes as follows, and people are pretty upset about this.
	A communist immigrant named Zohron Mamdani has prevailed against the former New York governor Andrew Cuomo in the Democratic primary for New York City's mayoral race.
	And as the winner of the Democrat primary, Mamdani will go on the general election to surely stand and will probably have a high chance of becoming the next mayor of New York.
	It looks like he will be going up against the incumbent mayor Eric Adams, who is running as an Independent as well as a Republican candidate, Curtis Slywa.
	And you can't make this stuff up.
	An African communist named Zohron Mamdani, he's from Uganda, who has basically uttered every left-wing lunatic slogan there is, defund the police and supports communist ideas and is sort of a self-avowed communist.
	He is going to be the Democrats candidate.
	And people are pointing so many things out about this, which I just find interesting.
	Here are some of the things he said.
	Here's an interesting clip.
	Let's listen.
	A city where they can do more than just struggle.
	One where those who toil in the night can enjoy the fruits of their labor in the day.
	Where hard work is repaid with a stable life.
	Where eight hours on the factory floor or behind the wheel of a cab is enough to pay the mortgage.
	It is enough to keep the lights on.
	It is enough to send your kid to school.
	Where rent-stabilized apartments are actually stabilized.
	Where buses are fast and free.
	Where childcare doesn't cost more than CUNY.
	And where public safety keeps us truly safe.
	And it's where the mayor will use their power to reject Donald Trump's fascism.
	To stop mass ICE agents from deporting our neighbors.
	There it is.
	And to govern our city as a model for the Democratic Party.
	Oh, yeah.
	Yeah.
	Model for the Democratic Party.
	Can't wait for that.
	You know, again, with the communists and how they operate, you know, it's always about selling this idea of a utopia that they'll create.
	He's like, he wants to do these things like, you know, government-owned grocery stores, and he wants to do all of these programs, obviously these socialist programs, which will inevitably put a higher burden and strain on the taxpayers,
	the law-abiding taxpayers, while certainly neglecting to account for the criminal element that is slowly and pervasively taking over the city.
	But the real, the key to that little, I think that was his victory speech or one of his campaign speeches, the real thrust of it all is the, I'm going to stand against and reject Donald Trump's fascism and to stop massed ICE agents from deporting our neighbors.
	So he, I mean, like, A, many people are pointing out that because of his direct association with the Communist Party, it seems, and the fact that he is an illegal or he's a legal immigrant, but he's an immigrant nonetheless who's only been here a short period of time.
	People are pointing out that the Trump administration basically has an opportunity to do one of the most hysterical things of all time and basically revoke his citizenship based on his association with the Communist Party.
	Because if you actually read through the U.S. Customs and Immigration Enforcement Handbook for naturalization, for the naturalization process for citizens, there's an interesting section in it that says one of the ways in which you can have your citizenship revoked is if you have an affiliation or an association with and have been perceived to lie about your association
	with the Communist Party.
	So, I mean, what would be the ultimate, ultimate thing is if Trump went in, had his ICE agents arrest this guy and deport him.

	I'm your host, Craig James, and we're talking about this Zohran Mamdani, the New York City Democratic mayoral candidate for the upcoming election.
	And, you know, the guy, he said some crazy things online, just to be abundantly clear, like some of his tweets are absolutely insane.
	One example, a quote from Zohron Mamdani, quote, queer liberation means defund the police, end quote.
	Okay, that's an interesting one.
	Another one of a gem from his album of classics here.
	Quote, from coast to coast right now, mayors and governors of deep blue cities and states are collaborating with a violent right-wing government to enforce curfews, round up protesters, and run them down in the street, including a New York City mayor, to fund the New York PD.
	End quote.
	Now, I mean, in fairness, it's like I'm torn because it's like part of it is he's kind of saying that the COVID lockdowns are wrong, which I agree with 100%.
	But then it's like he's got to run it in there that the whole, oh, yeah, it's all, you know, right-wing government, whatever, fine.
	No, he said it very clearly.
	He wants to defund the police.
	And like, for instance, here's one of his statements.
	He said, together we can tax the rich, heal the sick, house the poor, defund the police, and build a socialist New York.
	He also said, we can't reform a system working exactly as designed to control black, brown, and poor New Yorkers.
	We need to defund the police, get them out of matters they have no business in, free thousands locked up unjustly and invest savings, and those most impacted by state violence.
	So it's like, as with all communists, he's invoking this sentiment of for, in this case, you know, sort of this freedom, but he's using that as a way to inject his, you know, sort of anarchaic, chaotic agenda that's about destruction.
	Again, how do we know this?
	Well, we go back and we look at what we already know about the Cloward Pivin strategy.
	This is a communist strategy that goes back to the, when it was kind of outlined in the 1960s.
	And what does it do?
	It's bringing about the fall of capitalism by overloading the government bureaucracy with impossible demands, amassing a massive unpayable national debt, unfettered immigration, which pushes society into crisis and economic collapse.
	And what does he want to do?
	He wants to basically create a communist system where the government is and will be overwhelmed because the bureaucracy will be responsible for taking care of everything for everyone all the time.
	Right?
	So it's about destruction, ultimately.
	But the most hilarious thing about it is, you know, when it comes to deporting him, right?
	I'm just saying what the, you know, the immigration and customs enforcement, there is a system by which you enter the country, right?
	And in that system, to become a naturalized citizen, as he has obviously become, you have to abide by a certain set of criteria.
	And like I pointed out before the break, when you are being reviewed, you're asked a series of questions.
	One of those questions, to become a naturalized citizen, they say, are you or have you ever been associated with or a member of the Communist Party?
	Which he obviously would have had to have said no to, which seems to be a lie because it looks like not only is he calling himself a socialist and calling for a communist city, but he's basically describing himself on social media as a communist.
	Now, why does that matter?
	Well, it matters particularly because if a person who is naturalized, as this guy was, as a citizen, within five years of becoming a naturalized citizen,
	if there's evidence that he was a part of the Communist Party or it became a part of the Communist Party or he lied about being a part of the Communist Party, and he concealed it or willfully misrepresented the material fact that he was, he can have his citizenship revoked.
	So again, one of the most hilarious things that could happen in this scenario, by far, is a scenario where Donald Trump sends ICE to deport this guy.
	And I know the left will lose their mind and it'll be, oh my gosh, he's Hitler times a thousand.
	He's dictator, Stalin, Hitler, Mao combined into one, although they rarely ever say Mao because they love the Chinese communists so much.
	But I mean, that'll be the narrative.
	But let me just say, I think it would be funny.
	And if you don't think it would be funny, then you're just, you don't have a sense of humor or you're ideologically opposed to upholding the law in the country.
	And I'm just saying it'd be funny because it's like they nominate a literal communist and then Trump's like, hey, you're a communist and you lied about being a communist and now you're going to get deported for it.
	And then they would lose their mind and say Trump's evil.
	And then they would have to argue to bring back a communist to run the largest city in the country.
	It would just put on full display the fact that the Democrat Party is the Communist Party.
	And what's even funnier about it is that it's like the same thing with that Abrego guy, the Maryland father who turned out to be a sick, like pedo-criminal guy, allegedly.
	Allegedly?
	The illegal from Venezuela who was deported, I think.
	I think it was Venezuela.
	And then they brought him back and it's like, and you had Jamie Raskin flying to wherever, some El Salvadoran prison to be like, please give us the child abuser back.
	We want, you know, this maniac criminal back in our country because he's just a poor Maryland father who got deported for no reason.
	It's like everything they do, it just puts on full display who they are.
	So to a degree, it's like, okay, great.
	You know, Trump deports this guy, and then they literally fight tooth and nail to get a communist to come back to run the largest city in the country.
	And I wouldn't be surprised if they tried to run him for president.
	I mean, they tried much worse than that in the last election cycle, if you'll recall.
	So it'd be no surprise to me if that happens.
	If that's the reality we wake up to, sooner than later, I wouldn't be surprised.
	But hey, you know what?
	Let the communists take over New York.
	I mean, you've seen what it's done to every other state, every other city in the world.
	It will only drive people back toward anti-communist sentiments, at least.
	Because we'll see how destructive it is.
	I just don't want to see people suffer because of it.
	But at this point, it's like you can't, you can't, That's what they always say, at least.

	And, you know, to finish up this Zohran Mamdani thing, you know, I don't want to see anybody suffer.

	I don't want to see these people have to go through communism and feel the pain of that.

	But at some point, like I said before the break, you can bring a horse to water, you can't make a drink.
	It's like Yuri Bezbanev said it best.
	He was like, there's a certain level of cognitive dissonance or disability of people to see, the inability, excuse me, an inability for people to see the truth until they're in it.
	He was making the comparison to like telling people about concentration camps.
	He's like, you can tell people, there are certain people who you can tell, hey, they are doing these awful, heinous things.
	There are certain people that you can bring to the gate and point and say, look, look what they're doing to these people.
	But it will not be until they themselves are inside the concentration camp and the boot of the guard hits their backside that they wake up and realize that what they are doing and what they are a part of and what they're supporting is wrong.
	So it's not that I want anyone to suffer, but there are some people who will not figure out.
	It's like if you ever have a family member or a friend who's an addict, right?
	And they have to hit rock bottom before they realize that they had to stop.
	And sadly, some people, you know, their rock bottom is death, right?
	They don't make it.
	Or they never get, the bottom keeps falling out and they never reach that.
	But if you ever have a family member or friend who actually can overcome that sort of addiction or problem, oftentimes it will involve hitting a low point, a rock bottom, where they then, where they realize, hey, you know, I've made terrible decisions and I need to change.
	And in that same way, I feel like some people, they just have to hit that rock bottom.
	You can tell them and tell your blue in the face why it's wrong.
	You can point it out.
	You can show it to them.
	But they just won't believe it until it touches them directly in a way that is, you know, moving or stirring or jarring.
	But yeah, so I don't know.
	And then this Momdani guy, I mean, if he gets deported, again, that would be sort of hilarious.
	Eric Prince, you know, the guy from Blackwater, he said it, I thought fairly well on social media.
	He said, if we're serious about defending the Republic, then this needs to happen.
	Citizenship is a privilege and not a right for every third world invader dragging demonstrably doomed paradigms with them.
	Deport communists now from wherever they came.
	I think that's a fair assessment.
	Communism will be the downfall of America if we let it.
	And no, that's not me fear-mongering.
	That's just historically, I mean, go look around.
	So we need to be aware of it, and I think we need to at least do our best to try to counter it.
	And that's where I will leave that.
	There's another story.
	I mean, we don't have that much time, but the former Biden aide, Neera Tandon, went and, I guess, gave testimony to the Oversight Committee and basically says, hey, yeah, I was authorized to use the auto pen.
	Really?
	I don't remember seeing Neera Tandon's name on any ballot that I voted on in the 2020 election.
	Not that anybody cared about ballots in that election.
	Am I right?
	Not that anybody cared about vote counts or anything when COVID hit.
	I mean, it was like, ah, you know, whatever, we'll scan the same ballot 30 times and, you know, we'll just, and then we'll sue you for noticing.
	That's what happened in Georgia, at least.
	That wonderful woman who sued the people who noticed that she was scanning ballots over and over again and then made like millions of dollars and was paid off by the Democrats.
	And she's just one of many.
	We could stuff ballot boxes.
	cares.
	But, I mean, again, I didn't see Neera Tanden's name on the...
	But again, what if we really cared about laws all that much here in America anyway?
	I mean, it's all kind of, you know, it's like a dealer's choice when it comes to laws.
	It's like when I lived in California, it's like we have a lot of laws.
	They had a lot of laws in California.
	And, you know, depending on who you were is how they would enforce it.
	Like, if you were an illegal third world migrant who was there, you know, selling tacos or origins on the side of the road illegally without a business permit, that was totally fine.
	But if you, you know, were a normal citizen who started a food truck and, you know, you happened to not clean out the fryer one day, they would have shut you down, buddy, and fined you and revoked your business license and suspended it for third, you know, for five years.
	You know?
	It's funny how that works.
	But that's our country today.
	You know, it was the Obama doctrine, right?
	It was like, hey, you know, things are illegal.
	They're not illegal.
	Who cares?
	I'll never forget watching the videos of Joe Biden's Border Patrol just standing there as like tens of thousands of people just walked into our country and they're just like, this is fine.
	I'm like, well, aren't you going to do something?
	They're like, yeah, we're going to do something.
	We're going to put him on a bus.
	Oh, that's good.
	Then what?
	Then we're going to take him to the airport.
	Oh, okay, great.
	Then what?
	Then we're going to fly him to every major city across the country and drop him off with a cell phone and a credit card with money that came from your pocket.

	Somebody said, pile of tricks, why would you waste your time with this madness?
	I mean, I'm just talking about what's happening in the world to describe how foolish it all is, I guess.
	And I guess, I think the insinuation is why would I do this?
	Because I was awakened to the deception of the world, which helped me refine and be reborn in my relationship with Jesus Christ.
	And so if I can wake people up to the deception of the world and then tell them about the gospel, I hope to do the same for others.
	It's as simple as that.
	I mean, I don't have some grand vision of, you know, thinking I'm better than everyone or I'm, you know, smarter than everyone.
	It's just that's what I do.
	So that's my goal in life.
	It's what I devote myself toward.
	And I appreciate the comment, though.
	Somebody also texted and said, America is a communist country, so we are all communist citizens.
	You'd have to deport the whole country.
	That'd be interesting.
	Well, let's start with the avowed communists first.
	Then we can look at deporting everyone else.
	Although, depending on who everyone else is, I don't know.
	We could look at that.
	Finally, you know, we end with scripture, right?
	And today's no different.
	We're in the book of James.
	We're going to finish the book of James, God willing, by the end of this week.
	We're in chapter five.
	And today we're reading Verse 12. And it says this: Now, above all, my brothers, do not swear either by heaven or by earth, or with any other oath.
	Your yes must be yes, and your no must be no, so that you won't fall under judgment.
	Now, it's a very simple verse, it's a very concise verse, but it's a powerful one to me.
	It's about truth and honesty and integrity.
	I mean, this is what I talk about, you know, in my own life.
	I try to do every day.
	I get up, and I'm not perfect, and I'm not like some example that everybody should follow.
	Jesus is the example that I point to, not me.
	But I will say that the example I follow is Jesus, and that leads me to speak truthfully.
	And this whole show, right?
	I mean, a lot of the stuff that I say here, I say from a point of the truth that I know, the truth that is objective to me and what I've understood and learned over my life.
	And one of the most profound truths we can learn is through the gospel.
	And that's where I go every day at the end of the show.
	And, you know, when it says your yes must be yes and your no must be no, that means you must have honor as well.
	And follow through on your commitments and be honorable.
	And that's whether people are watching or not.
	So that's the message I'm going to leave you with.
	And if you haven't accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, I encourage you now, open your heart, say a prayer, call upon his name, accept him as your Lord and Savior and let him do great things in you, through you, for you.
	As he's already done the greatest thing and died for your sin, but you have to accept that.
