	Welcome to another Justin Forum Talk Radio Show.
	I'm your host, Craig James.
	We're back.
	It's Monday.
	We're going to get into some of the news stories from the weekend.
	Obviously, the big story being Iran, what is going on there?
	It looks like we have authorized the latest round of escalation with the bombing of nuclear targets.
	We'll get into that, explain it all.
	But, you know, on Mondays, we always take time in the first hour to listen to a sermon.
	Today is no different.
	We're going to be listening to a sermon from Front Range Baptist Church titled What is Better Than Wisdom by Pastor Dean Miller?
	Amazing sermon.
	I hope you guys are ready.
	Let's listen right now.
	What is better than wisdom?
	Wisdom is God's mind on the matter.
	It's how God thinks.
	And Solomon came to a conclusion.
	He was making an account.
	Solomon was like a bookkeeper making an account in chapter 7 of Ecclesiastes in verse number 27. He said, Behold, this I have found, saith the preacher, counting one by one to find out the account.
	Yet my soul seeketh, but I find not.
	All right, look right up here for just a minute.
	Solomon, the wisest man to live, a man given wisdom by God.
	Solomon wrote to us that wisdom is the principal thing, therefore get wisdom.
	You cannot get wisdom anywhere but from God, you need wisdom.
	But wisdom in and of itself will only lead you to vanity.
	Solomon is using his wisdom and his ability to reason and apply it.
	Solomon is applying wisdom to what he sees going on under the sun, And it just leaves him wondering.
	He's accounting for this, and he knows that wisdom is good, but it's not enough.
	It cannot answer the problems of man.
	And what are the problems of man?
	Look at what he says in chapter 8: and who is the wise man, and who knoweth the interpretation of a thing?
	A man's wisdom makes his face to shine and the boldness of his face to be changed.
	Listen, if you have wisdom, you can kind of attack life, but you cannot answer life.
	You cannot come up with all of the conclusions.
	And here's what he says.
	He's going to say, here's one of the fundamental problems in life is that man has to be under authority.
	It is a fundamental rule in the world that man has to be ruled.
	And man doesn't want to be ruled.
	Man doesn't want anybody in charge of him, but man has to be under rule.
	Here's what he says in verse number 2. He said, I counsel thee to keep the king's commandment.
	And that in regard of the oath of God.
	In other words, God is the one who designed human government and human authority, so you have to obey it.
	Jesus said this in the New Testament.
	Render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's.
	And to God the things that are God's.
	Paul wrote all about it in 1 Corinthians 13 on what it means to be a Christian citizen and to be a good citizen and be an obedient citizen.
	Peter wrote this in the book of 1 Peter.
	Peter wrote, submit yourself to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake.
	Whether it be to the king as supreme or unto governors as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers and for the praise of them that do well.
	Fear God.
	Honor the king.
	Love the brotherhood.
	This is the way of life.
	We have rulers over us.
	Sometimes they're good.
	Sometimes they're not.
	Sometimes you find yourself in the court of a man like Josiah who loved the Lord and feared the Lord.
	Maybe sometimes we have a king like David who was a man after God's own heart.
	But sometimes it's Nebuchadnezzar.
	Sometimes it is Herod.
	And no matter what, men are under authority.
	And there's no way to get away from that.
	He goes on to say down here in verse number 8, there is no man that has power over the spirit to retain the spirit.
	Neither hath he power in the day of death.
	And there is no discharge in that war.
	Look, look, even if you're the king, even if you're Solomon and you've risen to the top of the food chain in human society, you are the king in charge, there's still something that dominates you, and it's death.
	And no man can rule his spirit.
	No man can hold his spirit when death comes to call.
	You are going to be under the authority of something all the time.
	That's why Jesus said you cannot serve two masters, but you're always going to serve one master.
	Somebody's always going to be Lord over you.
	There's no way around it.
	Yeah, you can be a rebel.
	You can try to fight the power, but there's always going to be power.
	Everybody with me on that?
	Say yes.
	Okay.
	Number two, Solomon is saying, wisdom cannot answer the conundrum of why we all have to be ruled.
	Why do we have to be under authority?
	Not only that, wisdom cannot answer the question of why life is not fair.
	Look down at verse number 10. And so I saw that the wicked buried who had come and gone from the place of the holy.
	And they were forgotten in the city where they had so done.
	This is also vanity, because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily.
	Therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.
	Though a sinner do evil a hundred times and his days be prolonged, yet surely I know that it shall be well with them that fear God, which fear before him.
	But it shall not be well with the wicked, neither shall he prolong his days, which are a shadow, because he feareth not before God.
	There is a vanity which is done upon earth, that there be just men unto whom it happeneth according to the work of the wicked.
	And again, there be wicked men to whom it happeneth according to the work of the righteous.
	I said this also is vanity.
	Now, what's he saying here?
	He said, look, Psalmist said, life is not fair.
	There's no equity in life.
	I have seen a man go up to the holy of holies and worship at the temple, but go his way and he's a wicked man.
	And he had a name in the temple that he worshiped faithfully.
	He was a churchgoer.
	He was in church all the time, but he had a wicked life.
	And he said, and that man was encouraged in his wickedness because judgment wasn't carried out speedily.
	He thought that just because he was getting by with his sin, that God was okay with it.
	And so he went on his way, doing his own thing.
	And yet his days were prolonged.
	But there were just men that died short.
	There were ungodly men that lived long.
	And Solomon said, I know it's better to fear God than to live in wickedness.
	I know that.
	But I don't see it all the time in the world.
	I see good people die and suffer.
	And I see bad people be prolonged.
	I see wicked men prolonged in their wickedness with long life and prosperity and wealth.
	And I don't understand it.
	Life is not equitable.
	Life is not equal.
	Life is not fair.
	And wisdom cannot figure it out.
	When you lay it all out together as an accountant and you're counting one by one, it doesn't add up.
	And he said, I'll tell you something else that wisdom cannot do.
	Wisdom cannot give the answer to all of life's questions.
	It cannot figure it all out.
	I don't care how wise you are.
	Solomon was the wisest.
	And yet look what he says in verse number 16. When I applied my heart to know wisdom, I said to the business that is done upon the earth, for also there is that neither day nor night seeth sleep with his eyes.
	I mean, Solomon was up all night trying to figure all this stuff out.
	And here's what he found out, verse number 17. Then I beheld all the work of God, that a man cannot find out the work that is done under the sun, because though a man labor to seek it out, yet he shall not find it.
	Yea, farther, though a wise man think to know it, yet shall he not be able to find it.
	Okay.
	So what good is having wisdom?
	Psalms that I've got wisdom, but I'm still under bondage.
	I have wisdom.
	I have wisdom, but life still is not equitable.
	It's not fair.
	I have wisdom, but I can't figure out what God's doing in the world.
	I mean, if wisdom is the principal thing, then what's the point?
	Now, you have to remember that in the Old Testament, we have half the picture.
	Now, you cannot divorce the Old Testament from the New Testament.
	You cannot know the New Testament without knowing the Old Testament.

	We're listening to a sermon from Pastor Dean Miller right here at Front Range Baptist Church in Fort Collins titled What is Better Than Wisdom?
	Let's go right back to it.
	And you cannot know the Old Testament without knowing the New Testament.
	Jesus walked on the road of Emmaus with those two disciples and he said, are you guys so foolish you don't know yet?
	And he opened up to them and expounded to them all the things in the book of Moses, in all the prophets, in all the psalms, the things concerning himself.
	The whole Old Testament was about me and he brought it all to light.
	The things that were written aforetime were written for our learning.
	So when you read the book of Ecclesiastes, and if you read it just by itself, I will promise you, you're going to be discouraged because Solomon's saying, I have wisdom.
	I ask wisdom of God.
	I ask for an understanding heart.
	And yet, life is not fair.
	I'm still under the bondage and the authority of others.
	And life is not equal.
	And I don't understand it.
	Why is life this way?
	Well, we have to look over at the New Testament and understand it.
	Look at Romans chapter 8. Solomon, by the way, by the end of the book, you'll see Solomon will come to this.
	You're going to see that Solomon's going to get there.
	But he's not there yet, but he's trying to figure it out.
	Romans chapter 8, verse 18. Paul's doing some accounting, too.
	Paul's doing some reckoning as well.
	And Paul said, I reckon.
	That's what the word reckon means.
	It means to reconcile.
	How many of you are from the South?
	Okay?
	You southerners have heard this word much.
	Is it going to rain on Saturday?
	Well, I reckon.
	LSU, you going to win that baseball game today?
	Well, I reckon.
	In the South, reckon means, I suppose.
	That's not what it means in the Bible.
	To reckon, it means to reconcile.
	It means to account.
	So Paul's got a ledger.
	I want you to see an accounting ledger.
	And on this side of the ledger over here, Paul writes the heading at the top of this.
	The sufferings of this present time.
	All right, so you see this page?
	Sufferings.
	And then on this side, he writes, glory.
	Glory.
	You have sufferings of this present time and the glory that shall be revealed.
	And the suffering is not worthy to be compared to the glory.
	The glory far outweighs the suffering.
	And so Paul says in verse 19, for the earnest expectation of the creation waits for the manifestation of the sons of God.
	That's a powerful verse.
	All of creation right now, all of creation is waiting with anticipation for God to reveal the sons of God.
	For the sons of God to be made known and to be made manifest.
	Who is that?
	How many of us are saved today?
	If you're saved today, raise your hand.
	If you're saved today, that's you.
	And all of creation is waiting for you to have the manifestation and the adoption and the redemption of your body.
	Now, why is that?
	Verse number 20. For the creation was made subject to vanity.
	This was Solomon's problem.
	He was just under the subject of vanity.
	Everything's futile.
	Everything is senseless.
	Everything is empty.
	Nothing satisfies.
	And God made it that way.
	God subjected creation to vanity.
	Why?
	Not willingly, but by reason of him, God, who hath subjected the same in hope.
	God put all of humanity and all of creation under the rule of vanity so that he could put them under the rule of hope.
	See, I don't understand that.
	You will.
	Verse 21, because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
	For we know that the whole creation groans and travails in pain together until now.
	I mean, listen, there's war, there is famine, there is abuse, there is rape, there is abuse of power, there is famine and cancer and death and stillborn, there are birth defects, there are difficulties of life.
	The whole creation is subjected to this pain and travail until now.
	And verse 22, and verse 23, and not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption to with the redemption of our body.
	For we are saved by hope.
	But hope that is seen is not hope.
	For what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
	Solomon had wisdom, and wisdom was good and better.
	It was better to have wisdom than not have it.
	It's better to be wise than to be a fool.
	But there is good and there is better and there is best.
	It's good to have knowledge.
	It's better to have wisdom.
	But what is best?
	Faith.
	Hope.
	Earnest expectation.
	Here's what I want you to see.
	If you're a thinking person and an honest person, you have to be honest with the fact that this is a messed up world.
	It's a broken world.
	People suffer, even with the events of yesterday and the war and the bombings and all the stuff that's going on in the world.
	It's a wicked world.
	And here's what it leads men to think in our humanity.
	Are you ready for this?
	This is what it leads for men, by the way.
	This is why many atheists, their favorite book of the Bible is the book of Ecclesiastes.
	Because it seems to be a book that's in the Bible that validates the futility of life, that there's really nothing to it.
	And if you read the book of Ecclesiastes when you're discouraged, you would, instead of, when you got to the end of your rope, you would tie a noose and not a knot.
	You would just think, what's the point?
	It's empty.
	It's useless.
	And what it brings man to, what the presence of evil and the presence of pain and suffering bring mankind to is this.
	Are you ready for the conundrum?
	How can there be a God if there's evil in the world?
	Albert Einstein, in all of his genius, as he studied the universe, Albert Einstein came to this conclusion.
	He said, it is without doubt, as I have studied the universe, that there is a God.
	But I refuse to acknowledge him because of the presence of suffering.
	And this is where many men get to, because here's what you think.
	Is there a God?
	How can there be a God?
	This is what brings pain and suffering and war and death and hurt, bring men to a place of agnosticism and atheism.
	But then some say, well, there is a God.
	But maybe God is just not powerful enough to overcome the evil.
	Many of our progressive churches today are preaching that God is evolving.
	God has evolved on his position of human sexuality.
	God is evolving on his position on abortion.
	God is evolving on his positions of all these things.
	And let me just tell you, God is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
	God is unchanged.
	We heard about that in the song a minute ago.
	God is unchanged.
	God is not evolving.
	But is God just not powerful enough to overcome the evil?
	And maybe if God is powerful enough, maybe God is not good enough.
	Maybe God is just not good, and that's why he doesn't step in and overcome evil.
	Could that be the answer?
	Well, here are the three things that Paul puts down on the ledger and accounts for, and I want you to see them today, and you better account for them too.
	This is what Solomon was grappling with.
	Number one, I want you to see the word bondage.
	Everybody say bondage with me.
	Ready?
	1, 2, 3. Look at verse number 20. Look at verse number 21. Because the creature or the creation itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption.
	You see bondage?
	Here's what Solomon was saying.
	Solomon was saying, I can't understand why we're all under this authority.
	You know why?
	We're all in bondage.
	Everything is in bondage.
	And I want you to understand today that that's not the way God made it.
	God made the world perfect.
	God made mankind perfect.
	Mankind was made in such perfection that God was able to walk onto the face of this earth and walk with Adam in the cool of the day and talk face to face with him.
	God could have communion and fellowship with Adam.
	And if God made man perfect in every way, don't miss this, then that means that God included with Adam perfect liberty.
	Adam was given perfect liberty.
	Liberty for what?
	Liberty to love God.
	You see, listen, the highest good is to love.
	And God based his whole relationship with man on the word love.
	Love is not love until it is given and received.
	God made man so that God could love him and that man could love God.
	And how do we know that that's the highest good?
	What's the greatest commandment?
	Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind.
	That's the highest commandment.
	Why?
	Because it's the highest good.
	And so if love is the highest commandment and love is the highest good, then for there to be love, there had to be liberty.
	Adam had to have the right to choose.
	Because forced love is not love at all.
	So Adam was given a choice.
	That's why God put the tree in the Garden of Eden and he said, of all the trees you can freely eat, but of this one you cannot eat.
	And the day you eat thereof thou shalt surely die.
	And why did God do that?
	Because man had to have a choice.
	Was man going to love God more than himself?
	Was man going to be a lover of God more than a lover of pleasure?
	Was he going to put God above his own heart and his own needs and his own wants and his own lusts?
	And so God gave man perfect choice.
	And man failed in that choice and chose self and with it came sin.
	Man missed the mark and man brought sin into the world and death by sin.
	And I don't think we understand the devastating effect that man's sin had on all of creation.
	Man's sin completely destroyed the animal kingdom.
	Today, little baby elk are born in the mountains.
	A mother will have carried that elk, that little baby elk, for months and months.
	And no sooner than it hits the ground and learns to get up on its little shaky legs, a mountain lion kills it and devours it.
	The animal kingdom is in corruption today, in bondage.
	The mineral kingdom is in bondage.
	That's why we have ecological problems today.
	The vegetable kingdom is in bondage.
	That's why you can grow weeds and not flowers.
	I grow weeds very well.
	I grow weeds where you're not supposed to grow weeds.
	The human kingdom is a mess.
	Solomon said, there's something in me that wants to be in charge.
	I don't want to be ruled.
	And you know why?
	Man was not meant to be ruled.
	Man was given dominion.
	But man subjugated that dominion when he sold himself a slave to sin.
	And now man must be ruled because man is in sin.
	Man is now depraved.
	Man's now, his imagination is a garden of weeds itself.
	Man invents the most incredible things and then does evil with them.
	Men's bodies are under the curse.
	Our bodies are diseased.
	It doesn't matter how healthy you eat, you ought to eat healthy.
	Doesn't matter how much you exercise, you need to exercise.
	But the day is going to come, you can be as healthy as a horse and die in a car wreck.
	I know a guy that drank carrot juice like it was going out of style.
	His skin was orange.
	That man was the healthiest man ever and died in a plane crash.
	I hope he had a cookie on the way down.
	Had a little bit of happiness.
	I mean, some people, listen, some people are eating so healthy to stay alive, they're miserable while they're living.
	You ever met somebody like that?
	I mean, just no happiness.
	I'm not eating that.
	I don't kill you.
	Well, guess what?
	You're going to die.
	And you ought to be healthy, and you ought to take care of your body.
	But if you're healthy and not happy, something's wrong.
	And if you're healthy and not holy, something's wrong.
	God made you to be healthy, happy, and holy.
	And the only way to do that is to know God.
	But listen, we're under bondage.
	We're under the bondage of sin.
	We are going to die.
	The day is going to come.
	I am 52 years old.
	The day is going to come.
	You are going to hear that I have died.
	This body is under the bondage of sin.
	And so man is under bondage.
	Say bondage.
	Man is under bondage.
	You're under bondage.
	And God made you to have dominion, and yet we subjugated that dominion at the tree.
	And if you've been saved, your spirit is redeemed, but your body has not yet been redeemed.
	And so we're under bondage.
	Solomon couldn't understand that.
	Why are we still under this thing?
	There's no discharge in the war of death.
	Every man has authority.
	Nothing is fair and equitable.
	There's no way we can know what God is doing in the world.
	And the reason for it is because we are in bondage and we are in a world of sin.
	But I want you to see the second word.
	Look at verse 21. Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption.
	Watch this.
	Into the glorious...
	Liberty of the children of God.
	Say liberty.
	Okay?
	So here's what you need to understand.
	There is bondage, and that's because of our past sin.
	But there is liberty that is coming in the future because of Christ's salvation.
	There is a better day coming.
	I want you to understand something.
	There is a glorious day when we are going to be free from the law of sin and the law of death.
	There is coming a day when the former things are done away and all things will become new.
	And there will never be sorrow and no tears and no pain and no death and no parting.
	There is coming a day when the sun will never set.
	But there will be no sun because the Lamb of God is the light of that city.

	There is coming a day when the vegetable kingdom will be free.
	There will be fruitfulness.
	The whole world will be like the garden of God.
	You'll go to pick a rose and there'll be no thorn.
	You'll go to pick fruit and there'll be no thistle.
	There'll be no weeds.
	There'll be nothing to cultivate.
	The whole world will be a glorious world.
	The leaves of that tree will be for the healing of the nation.
	Twelve manner of fruit will grow there.
	All of those kingdoms will be restored.
	And the human kingdom will be set free because you will be like Jesus.
	You say, Pastor, what is it going to be like to be like Jesus?
	I have no idea.
	It doth not yet appear what we shall be, but we know that when we shall see him, we shall be like him.
	And I'm glad the Bible gives us a little glimpse on what the glorified body of Jesus was like.
	Do you know that after Jesus rose up from the dead, he went and sat down and ate?
	Hallelujah.
	I'm glad that we get to eat in our bodies one day.
	I'm going to eat and we never get fat.
	I'm going to eat and never get cholesterol.
	No diabetes.
	I don't have to watch my sugar.
	Listen, I'm going to grow.
	Look, look, look.
	I'm going to have a physique in heaven.
	I'm going to wear tight t-shirts in heaven.
	Walk around my biceps out.
	No, I won't because there'll be no pride there.
	No arrogancy there.
	I'm looking forward to a day when I get to be with God with no sin in my heart.
	No pride.
	No manipulation.
	No self.
	Just with the Lord.
	I'm going to be like Jesus.
	The bondage that came from the past and the future that is filled with liberty is sandwiched with the time in which we live during this time of suffering and this time of pain and all the things that Solomon could not get his head around, a time of inequity and injustice, a time when man cannot answer the questions, and so what do we live in in this day?
	We're all in the bondage of sin.
	One day we'll be in the liberty of Christ.
	But right now, let me tell you something, believer.
	We walk in hope.
	Look at verse number 24. For we are saved by hope.
	But hope that is seen is not hope.
	For what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
	Look back at verse 20. For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope.
	God who made this world where nothing could satisfy you.
	Nothing could satisfy you but him.
	God made it in a way where everything in this world leads to futility.
	Ecclesiastes is the book of the Bible that shows you the end result of man's best efforts.
	A man who had wisdom, a man who had wealth, a man who had women, a man who had pleasure, a man who had power, a man who had everything the world could offer, and yet he was as empty as empty can be.
	And God made life that way.
	Why?
	So that God could subject you to hope.
	What is hope?
	Hope is not just wishful thinking.
	Hope is confident expectation.
	I am confident that one of these days I am going to be like Christ.
	I am confident that I'm going to live in heaven one day.
	You say, well, what is that?
	How are you so confident?
	That confidence is built on the divine salvation that we have in Jesus Christ.
	The songwriter said it best when he said, my hope is built on nothing less than Jesus' blood and righteousness.
	Listen, the fact that Jesus came and took sin and death and conquered them at the cross gives me hope that one day I, through his death and burial and resurrection, will have new hope and new life.
	It gives me that confidence.
	That confidence is also based on the presence of the Holy Spirit in me.
	Look at what he says in verse number 3. He says, verse 23, not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit.
	Verse number 26, likewise the Spirit helps our infirmities.
	For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought.
	But the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
	Listen, I have the presence of the Holy Spirit living me.
	When I got saved, God gave me a down payment.
	God gave me the earnest money.
	God gave me that first payment.
	And it was the Holy Spirit.
	He put the Holy Spirit in me and sealed me with that.
	Listen, that means that what God has bought is already paid for, and I have the Holy Spirit in me to seal that.
	And one of these days, I know that I will be with God because he is with me now.
	I have the Spirit of God in me.
	He walks in me.
	He talks to me.
	He leads me.
	He comforts me.
	He prays for me.
	He groans with me.
	When I groan, he groans.
	When I come to places where I don't even know what to pray for or how to pray for it, he prays for me.
	That's the hope and the confidence that I have.
	That's the foundation.
	Jesus rose again from the dead.
	That's a confidence.
	It's a foundation of an expectation that one day I'm going to raise from the dead.
	My dad sent me a beautiful song yesterday.
	It was a song that we sang.
	I led my family in this song around the deathbed of my mother.
	My mother died.
	After she breathed her last breath, my dad opened up his Bible and he read from Revelation chapter 14, Blessed are they that die in the Lord from henceforth.
	For they are ceased from their labors, and their works do follow them.
	And we knew that my mother was with the Lord.
	I had my family join hands, and we began to sing, How beautiful heaven must be.
	We sang that song together in the hospital about the beauty of heaven.
	And I have a hope today, not a wish.
	I have a confident expectation that I'm going to see my mother.
	I'm going to stand in glory one day.
	I have heaven to look forward to.
	Why?
	Because of the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
	For if we believe that he died and he rose again, them also which have died will he bring with them.
	That's hope.
	It's confidence.
	Let me give you three statements and we're done.
	Three statements and we're done.
	Are you ready?
	Number one, the groans that we endure are temporary.
	Hey, what you're going through today is temporary.
	Now, it's been in this world for 6,000 years.
	But 6,000 years with the Lord is but a day, and a day is but a thousand years.
	Time has no meaning with God in eternity.
	We live in time, and this is temporal.
	If I live to be 90, my suffering is going to go by like that compared to eternity.
	What you're going through, the groans that you're enduring today are temporal.
	Statement number two, the glory that we expect is eternal.
	There is coming a day when I'm going to put off the sorrow and I'm going to put on the glory.
	And I am going to be in that state forever and ever and ever and ever.
	I think sometimes we forget that we are only here.
	What is life?
	It is but a vapor.
	It appears for a little time and then vanishes away.
	I was talking to a man the other day, 83 years old, and he leaned over to me just before I got up to preach to a room full of teenagers, and he leaned over to me and he said, Brother Miller, isn't it so fascinating how fast time goes?
	He said, these young people have no idea how quickly they will be old.
	Life goes by like that.
	But forever is forever.
	There is no end to the glory.
	And when you compare on the accounting sheet the sufferings of this present time that are temporary with the glory that shall be forever, they are not even worthy to be compared.

	This is a man's world.

	You see, we're predestined for glory.
	For those he did foreknow, them he also did predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son.
	And who God predestined, God will glorify.
	We are preserved for glory.
	Here's my third statement.
	The third statement is nothing can separate you from God's great love.
	No matter what you're going through today, no matter what if you have answers or not, if it's fair or not, if somebody has ruled a ruling in your life that you don't think is fair, but you can do nothing to fight it, if you cannot figure out what God is doing in your life, there's one thing that you can be assured of.
	None of it separates you from God's great love.
	The Bible says here, who shall separate us from the love of Christ?
	Shall tribulation?
	No.
	Shall distress?
	No.
	Shall persecution?
	No.
	Or famine?
	No.
	Nakedness?
	No.
	Peril?
	No.
	Sword?
	No.
	Nay, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
	All of our suffering took place at a tree.
	It's a tree that our love for God was tested.
	We failed that test and plunged creation into bondage.
	With bondage came vanity.
	But we were not the only ones being tested at that tree.
	God was being tested at that tree.
	What would you do if you made a creature out of the dust and you made it so intricate in its detail down to its DNA and cells and corpuscles and vessels, capillaries and nerves and arteries and fibers and tendons?
	The intricacies of man's brain that folded into neurons and neurological pathways.
	The intricacies of an eye that can see color and motion in high definition and sync it up with unrivaled audio of a man's ears and bring all of that into a place where it has a supercomputer that can process and see and remember and recall.
	We are fearfully and wonderfully made.
	Hormones and particles in our body that we can't even understand right now.
	We're trying to figure out what mitochondria is and what the gut microbiome and all the things that we have in these bodies that have been so fearfully and wonderfully made.
	And what if you made a creature like that out of dust and gave it everything?
	Everything it needed for life.
	Everything it needed for godliness.
	And it defied you and ate the fruit in your face.
	Man failed at that tree.
	But God was being tested at that tree.
	And God said, man, you failed at this tree.
	But there is another tree that I will commend my love for you.
	And that while you were yet sinners, I'll die for you.
	And what man failed in the Garden of Eden, Christ reclaimed in the Garden of Gethsemane.
	What man lost at the tree of knowledge and good and evil, Christ reclaimed at the tree of Golgotha.
	And I want to tell you that at Golgotha, the power of death was broken and Satan was destroyed.
	And I will tell you one day soon he is coming again and all of it will be defeated.
	All of it.
	And as believers, we walk in hope.
	Confident expectation that Christ is all in all.
	I want to tell you today, in this broken world, we need some believers that walk in hope and have confidence and boldness.
	Do we need wisdom?
	Oh yes, we need wisdom.
	But wisdom without faith can only go so far.
	But you take hope and wisdom, and you are an unstoppable foe of Satan.
	You get some Christians out here who are walking in God's wisdom and yet with confidence in God and hope.
	We have boldness.
	We have power.
	We have life.
	Nothing to fear in this world.
	We have nothing to fear because Christ has conquered.
	And nothing will separate you from the love of Christ.
	What you're going through is temporary.
	Glory is eternal.
	And nothing can separate you from the great love of God.
	Our heads about, our eyes are closed.
	Lord Jesus, I pray today that you would speak to every heart.
	Lord, there are some believers in this room who are facing some difficult things.
	But Lord, they can face them in hope.
	Our heads about our eyes are closed.
	How many of us would say, Pastor, I needed renewal of hope today?
	All right.

	I want to talk about what's going on in Iran We had major attacks over the weekend.
	Operation Midnight Hammer was a successful bombing raid of the nuclear facilities in Iran conducted by the United States military.
	Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and the chairman of the Joint Chiefs, Dan Raisin Kane, General Dan Raisin Kane, held a press conference and briefed everybody on Sunday morning to inform us of the success of a mission that had taken place.
	So according to Secretary Hegseth and General Kane, they laid out how there was a classified mission which was executed where they used B-2 stealth bombers to fly from the United States all the way to Iran to target and destroy a number of sites alleged to be housing the nuclear program of the
	Iranian regime.
	Now, this obviously was titled Operation Midnight Hammer.
	What they were discussed at the press conference was the fact that there were a number of different strategic elements to this mission, including the use of decoy planes and also obviously the use of highly powerful penetrating bunker buster missiles.
	Now there is so much to unpack here and I will try to do that in the show as best we can.
	And I want you to keep it locked in because we're also going to go over one of the most fascinating things of all, which was the predictive programming that was implanted into the conscience of the American public through one of the most popular major Hollywood films of the last, I don't know, maybe 10 years or so.
	You're going to want to hear it because let's just put it this way.
	The similarities between the plot of the movie and what happened in real life are almost too incredible to believe.
	And we'll break those down in the next hour as well.
	But to give you just an idea of what happened, again, as many as six B-2 stealth bombers were deployed, but there were also several others.
	And they delivered a strike package into Iranian airspace where they struck these bases using GBU-57 bunker buster bombs.
	They were targeted at Fordeau Mainly, but other targets as well.
	The place where they say Iran was holding its advanced nuclear warhead program.

	So we got a lot to cover here today.
	I do want to get into some of these stories.
	You know, I tried to explain as we went into the last break what was going on with this latest bombing in Iran.
	And, you know, chaos is going to ensue.
	People are already freaking out.
	There's a lot of chaos right now.
	Just online, the chatter, what's coming, what may or may not be happening, and the second, third, fourth order effect of it all.
	But basically how we got here, it seems, is that Trump has made it clear that his administration is not inclined to allow Iran to have a nuclear program.
	So the rhetoric's been ramping up, amping up, ramping up, whatever, for the last few days and weeks, really.
	And then you had this conflict begin with Israel striking Iran and Iran striking Israel with these missile strikes.
	Obviously, Israel is trying to take out large portions of the Iranian regime, and they've made it clear that they would like regime change in the nation.
	Trump previously said he is not for regime change and then quickly changed his tune and said, well, you know, regime change is not so bad.
	Perhaps we want regime change if the people in charge right now don't want to make a deal and make, as he says, make Iran great again, which is an interesting way of phrasing it, given, you know, what the association is with that phrase for America.
	But a lot of people are, you know, there's people on all sides of this, right?
	You got the Ted Cruises, sort of the die-hard, in some cases, more boomerish people who are like, you know, the nation of Israel is what is described in the Bible, even though it's never really mentioned in that way.
	And that Bibi Net Yahoo's secular humanist government that has been doing all kinds of, you know, really deceptive and malicious things is the nation that we must support as Christians.
	And so they have this, you know, belief that we must intervene on behalf of Israel, no matter what the cost.
	And then you have other people who are more looking at it from a different perspective.
	They do not want another war in the Middle East.
	They don't want another Iraq or another Afghanistan.
	And they're a little bit befuddled as to why Trump told us he was not going to intervene in such a way in these nations.
	Yet now he seems to be all too willing.
	There's also an interesting thing.
	Elon Musk comes out a few weeks ago and says that Trump's in the Epstein files and that's why they're not being released.
	And then a week later, Israel bombs Iran, and Trump's on board with anything Israel wants, i.e., you know, the association there with Trump being maybe on some sort of blackmail.
	But I don't necessarily subscribe to that theory, but I have heard an interesting theory that I want to share with you about what Trump is doing with these strikes, and it's pretty simple.
	So essentially what it is, people are saying this.
	Because Israel has decided to go to war with Iran and they want regime change, they've been saying that the U.S. non-intervention policy there is what is forcing their hand in having to make this move to take out Iran's nuclear capabilities, right, facilities.
	So people are saying that it would make sense now that what Trump's basically doing is he's removing their predicate by striking at these bases, which by agreement they know they shouldn't have anyway.
	If that makes sense.
	But there's a lot more to it.
	So we're going to take a quick break and come back, keep going.

	Okay, so I want to keep going in the story that's being developed here, but I want to finish the thought I was kind of explaining about this whole conflict with Iran.
	I'm trying not necessarily to give you as much of my opinion at this point as I am the opinions of people who are discussing this online.
	There's a few different camps, and I've tried to go through them.
	There are the sort of, you know, die-hard Israel, pro-Israel, sort of Zionist, people like to say that word a lot, contingent that are like, we must go to war with Iran on behalf of Israel because it's our duty, biblically or otherwise, to do it.
	There is a large, you know, contingent of people who, like I said, are like the Ted Cruz sort of contingent.
	I don't want to say they're all boomers, but they're like boomer-ish people who have a very specific way of interpreting scripture to perceive it as saying something that I'm not sure I've read in scripture, but they perceive it that way.
	And they think it's, you know, it's their duty to support the secular humanist government of Israel and whatever agenda they have.
	There are people who are on the camp of, you know, being against this because they don't want more forever wars.
	They don't want more conflict.
	They see the reality of what this conflict is going to bring in, which will be, you know, turmoil and chaos.
	And, you know, it could be the destruction of the petrodollar.
	It could be the collapse of the U.S. economy.
	It could be the implementation of, you know, sort of this world reserve currency where we opt out of the U.S. dollar as the world reserve currency and we opt into the basket of currency type of deal.
	And then that brings in the one world government and the digital.
	I mean, like, people will take this as far as you want to go with it, really, as far as many perspectives I've heard online.
	And I put it to you this way.
	Trump did tell us in his run that he was going to disallow Iran from having a nuclear program.
	And one of the theories I heard online is, again, I am trying to give the benefit of the doubt to Donald Trump in what he's doing because there's obviously more to it than meets the eye, right?
	There's always going to be thing, there are always going to be things that I'm not aware of as an average U.S. civilian who doesn't have classified material, access to information, access to intelligence, that kind of thing.
	I understand that.
	A lot of this stuff, though, you don't need classified intelligence to get a grasp on what's going on, but in some ways you do, right?
	So I'm giving the benefit of the doubt because one of the theories I thought was interesting, and I'm not sure what I believe yet, but it does sound plausible at least, is that Israel had made up its mind it was going to go to war with Iran.
	And they needed a justification for this war.
	The justification up until this weekend for the war was Iran's nuclear program, right?
	I mean, beyond the whole like, they're bombing us, we're bombing them, they don't like us, they chant death to Israel, they chant death to America, they're an existential threat, blah, blah, blah.
	The whole predicate for their intervention, their attack, right?
	Their preemptive attack was, we're going to take out the leadership because they have nuclear weapons and they'll use it against us, right?
	That was Israel.
	Israel's whole thing was, we are going to intervene because they're weeks away from a bomb.
	And if they have a nuclear bomb, all bets are off and we're going to go to war anyway.
	So we might as well take them out now while we still can.
	Okay, so that was the narrative framing that was taking place over the last several weeks, right?
	It's the buildup and then the attack, the preemptive attack and then the retaliation and the back and forth.
	That was what we were being given publicly.
	Okay, so Trump then is put in a position where he knows this war will begin.
	Now, what does this war do?
	You know, you have the Strait of Hormuz.
	I think about 20% of the world's sort of crude oil travels between this strait.
	There's going to be some conflicts there when it comes to exactly what level of impact this is going to have economically, right?
	It's going to have disruptive effect.
	It could have a cascading effect.
	It could be quite disruptive to markets and other things.
	So Trump's sitting here thinking, and this is the thought, this is what people are saying, that Trump's only option was the one he took this weekend, right?
	Which was essentially to conduct these precision bombing campaigns in Iran, targeting the nuclear facility, the facilities, declare that the nuclear threat of Iran is no more,
	essentially, and thus remove Israel's predicate for invasion and war in the region, which in turn perhaps opens up an avenue to peace before we get into another kinetic boots on the ground conflict in Iran.
	Now, look, don't shoot the messenger here.
	There are people that Are heated on all sides of this?
	Trust me when I say I know people have strong opinions, one way or the other, about what this is.
	You know, I hear the people shrieking online, Trump's pro-Zionist, he's doing this, he's owned and controlled by Israel.
	You know, and it's like, okay, I hear you, I get it.
	And then the people on the other side, you know, we've been betrayed.
	Trump, you know, we're going to war with Iran.
	And then you have the other side, there's many sides, you know, oh, we got to go to war with Iran.
	They're a threat to Israel.
	We're Israel's greatest ally, etc.
	I hear all the people, the opinions, that is.
	And I reserve the right to have an opinion of my own that is formed over time by watching, you know, judging by the actions, not by the words necessarily.
	So so far, all I've seen is our actions that validate the theory that I was presenting earlier, which is that this is Trump's way of stopping Israel from starting a war.
	I know that sounds crazy and counterintuitive, but it makes sense in a weird way, right?
	In a strange way, it sort of makes sense that Trump bombing these nuclear facilities and then declaring, hey, we just got rid of the nuclear threat in Iran, basically, is in a way him saying, now Israel has no excuse to go to war.
	They don't, any war that they move forward in from here will not be about the nuclear program.
	Therefore, it will just literally be about regime change.
	And then Trump came out and said it.
	And then he came out and said, and again, I'm judging by the actions, not by the words.
	He says, well, you know, regime change is a dirty word.
	And, you know, perhaps there should be regime change.
	Perhaps if they don't want to make their country great, you know, we should have a regime change and then somebody else can come in and make their country great.
	So again, though, if you're like people online who are reactors as opposed to, you know, critical thinkers oftentimes, people who just react to words, oh, I said some words, which is what Trump does great.
	You know, he knows how to push a button on people.
	And they react.
	They reacted and said, oh, this is it.
	Here's proof.
	Now he's a regime changer.
	Well, I mean, he hasn't technically changed any regimes yet.
	He's just said perhaps regime change isn't a bad thing.
	Now, does that, now, again, I will wait and see what happens.
	Because A, I'm not in a position to necessarily change any of these events, which are most likely already set in motion.
	But B, everything is, you know, it's all talk until it isn't, right?
	The bombing of the nuclear facilities, I think, if I'm not mistaken, was sort of a master move.
	I think it was a clever move.
	But there are people out there who are very, you know, oh, we're going to war.
	It's all predetermined.
	And that's true.
	I get it.
	We've had these battle plays.
	And when we come back after the break, I'm going to tell you about the predictive programming in one of the biggest box office blockbuster movies in Hollywood over the last decade or so.
	I think it's one of the top grossing movies of all time now.
	A little movie called Top Gun Maverick, which by coincidence or chance has the exact plot.
	The plot of the movie is nearly identical to the sequence of events that have just taken place over the last 24 to 48 to 72 hours.
	So we'll talk about Top Gun Maverick, the plot, and how it just so happens to overlay.
	And we'll get into like predictive programming, right?
	How this is all sort of, it's been in the works for a while.
	But I guess the point that I'm making with Trump is we'll wait and see.
	You know, you can listen to a man speak and then you can watch his actions.
	And, you know, you judge by what they do, not necessarily what they say.
	And I think we'll have to wait and see on this one.
	But, you know, there's a lot of people out there.
	They want the one world currency.
	Collapse the dollar.
	You know, the bankers, the banksters, the banking cartels, they're coming for you.
	Better watch out.
	It's a boogeyman.
	It's going to get you.
	And to a degree, it's true.
	But you shouldn't be so paranoid about it, right?
	A lot of it is outside of our control.

	So I told you before the break, we're going to go over this interesting theory.
	Well, I don't know if it's a theory, really.
	It's just a fact at this point.
	That the plot to one of the biggest blockbuster movies that had all kinds of military fingerprints all over it, because Hollywood works with the military to make these sort of movies that end up acting as recruiting opportunities to a large degree.
	And Top Gun Maverick was a great example of that.
	They had access to the fighter jets and the military bases and that's what they do.
	A lot of these big Hollywood movies, there's a whole office in the military that's dedicated to working with Hollywood that supplies them with aircraft carriers for movie shots or destroyers or tanks or jets or soldier, out uniform, blah, blah, blah, that kind of thing.
	So they can do their access to the bases for filming.
	And Top Gun was a great example of that.
	But it also then gets a say in how the films are made.
	They can say, hey, you can't have this, you can't have that, blah, blah, blah.
	There's a whole fascinating rabbit hole that you can dive down on that if you're ever interested in looking it up.
	But the idea being that the military can write off the expense of whatever it costs as being a form of recruitment, right?
	So like we're going to put an aircraft carry in Hollywood film and it's how we recruit, you know?
	It'll increase retention and all that stuff.
	But what's fascinating about this movie is that the plot is nearly identical to what we just saw happen over the weekend.
	So let me explain, okay?
	And again, this is brought to my attention by many people online.
	I didn't like figure this out myself.
	I'm not some genius like that regard, which I know everybody's so shocked, right?
	No, no, no.
	But this is interesting.
	Top Gun Maverick, which was one of the biggest movies.
	I don't know.
	I'm thinking it's like one of the biggest.
	I remember it made something ridiculous, like a billion dollars or something at the box office.
	Has eerie similarities between what happened in real life and what happened in the movie.
	So in the movie, there's a sort of fictional Middle Eastern nation who has a, you know, a developing nuclear weapons program that is being hidden in a very remote bunker in the desert or in the mountainous,
	deserty mountain area that Tom Cruise and his team of top gun pilots, fighter pilots, have to do this really crazy and dangerous strategic strike on, right, to take out their nuclear program.
	And what's interesting, there's a few things actually.
	One of the most interesting things is that in the briefing, right, because there's a scene in the movie, spoiler alert, you're going to hear stuff about the movie if you haven't seen it.
	I'm sure you've seen it.
	It's like biggest movie ever.
	But there's a scene in the movie where the generals are briefing Tom Cruise on, you know, why they have to hit this target.
	And one of the things that they say in the movie, which is interesting, they say that the nuclear base or the nuclear facility in this Middle Eastern country poses a threat to our allies.
	Now, they never say in the film, interestingly enough, that the nuclear facility poses a threat to the United States of America.
	They literally only say in the movie that the nuclear base poses a threat to our allies.
	So clearly, clearly, this is implicating the fact that, you know, the idea that Israel is threatened by Iran, and this is literally playing out to the exact sequence of the movie.
	So, the mission objective, and I have this little description here, which is interesting.
	Both the film and the real-world event involve a military operation aimed at destroying a nuclear facility in a mountainous region of a Middle Eastern country.
	In Top Gun Maverick, the target is an unsafe, sanctioned uranium enrichment plant built in violation of a multilateral treaty representing a direct threat to allies.
	Similarly, the U.S. operation targeted Iran's Ford Oranium Enrichment Plant, which is also located in a mountainous area and has been a concern due to its nuclear capabilities.
	The film predicts or depicts their use of stealth bombers and fighter jets to carry out a precision strike, emphasizing the need for a low-level laser-guided attack to navigate GPS jamming and surface-air missile defenses.
	In reality, the U.S. deployed B-2 stealth bombers in Operation Midnight Hammer to strike Iran's nuclear sites, including Fordo, highlighting a similar strategy.
	In the movie, the mission is urgency-driven with a compressed timeline to prevent the nuclear plant from becoming fully operational.
	This just so happens to mirror the real-world scenario where the U.S. and its allies faced a narrow window to act before Iran's nuclear capabilities could advance further, leading to a preemptive strike without a declared war.
	The risk to American lives.
	So the film portrays a high-risk operation where American pilots, including the protagonist, Maverick, face significant danger, including the possibility of death.
	It is noted that the real-world parallel where such operations risk American lives, potentially for the benefit of allies rather than direct U.S. interests, raising questions about the justification cost of such action.
	And so on.
	I mean, there are even more similarities that I could sit here and go through for a while.
	But I just find that interesting.
	And when I see this and I hear it, the first thing that comes to my mind is predictive programming.
	And this is very overt predictive programming because a lot of times it's sort of covert or subliminal.
	It's sort of woven into themes and messages so that you kind of you're programmed to accept a reality that has been predetermined and planned for a long time, right?
	And it softens the blow because you are your mind, even your subconscious mind is accepting it, even though you know it's fiction.
	Your subconscious mind has already gone through the whole process of understanding and comprehending and accepting that this is a circumstance that is happening.
	So this is predictive programming has been used in many different ways and many different things.
	I've talked about psychological warfare here on the show many times, and it is an interesting component of how certain things happen, right?
	And how certain things are sort of made to happen.
	But this is a fascinating one that I was thinking, man, what?
	So they predictively programmed us for this exact event to take place.
	Well, that's interesting.
	Now, is Trump, part of me believes that, like I said before, Trump is doing this to stop Israel's escalation of the war.
	Right?
	He's acting so that Israel cannot act or cannot justify its action, at least.
	But part of me is like, well, even if that's the case, then why were we just predictively programmed into accepting this reality that is literally almost verbatim by the script occurring in real life?
	Now, again, you could just argue it's simple, not even coincidence.
	It's just, it's the fact of the matter is that this was a possibility that was on the horizon and that the producers of the film did their research and figured out, oh, if we were going to strike Iran's nuclear bases, this is how it would go.
	Therefore, it shouldn't surprise anyone that it's exactly happening exactly or almost exactly as it did in the film.
	You know, they'll call you conspiracy theorists and say, stop looking so much into it, you know?
	But then there's, I'm like, hmm, no, that's, this is a little on the nose for me, huh?
	However, we'll keep talking about when we come back.

	And you know, what I found very interesting is like you think, why would we have the predictive programming, right?
	Why do it?
	Well, it's pretty simple, right?
	It conditions the audience, the general public, excuse me, to accept such military action without complaint.
	So the real world event happening later here in the timeline we live in, right now, could also be seen as sort of validating the narrative, which influences the public and political perceptions of the necessity and morality of the strike, right?
	Because it's like the movie.
	You feel good afterwards.
	Like the good guys won.
	We got them.
	We got him.
	We blew up the nuclear facility.
	Yes.
	Man, we did it.
	Congratulations.
	Now let's go get a beer and play volleyball on the beach.
	You know?
	It's a famous part of the movie.
	So I think that there's that aspect to it, obviously.
	And I also believe that, you know, in any circumstance where you find yourself watching real life and fiction sort of intertwine and become so, you know, interrelated, there are a lot of ways we end up being not necessarily manipulated.
	I want to say influenced more.
	But there is a layer of manipulation and deception involved in that.
	But let's just, for lack of a better word, say influenced in how we think and how we perceive the world and the actions that take place in it.
	So again, perhaps if that's the only reason why the events that just took place in Israel or in Iran, excuse me, and the events that took place in this fictional movie are so similar, and it's just for public perception and the public accepting it, right?
	Even going as far as to say it was necessary and moral, then that is, you know, that was the effect.
	That was the intended effect.

	The U.S. military, the biggest military thugs, terrorists on the face of the planet.
	I mean, I understand why you would have such a disdain for the military in the things that they've done over the years, but they've also done a lot of good things.
	And again, it's our military, right?
	So I always, you know, I get the critique, but you always want to first make the separation between, you know, sort of the bad leadership and the everyday guy serving in the military.
	Those guys are very good for the most part.
	And we thank them for their service.
	And I'm always very careful to, you know, it's so easy oftentimes to, you know, throw the baby out with the bathwater and to say, oh, man, you know, the United States is so evil.
	We should just, you know, we should get rid of it.
	Well, I don't want to say that because I love the United States, because I live in the United States, because I believe in the Constitution, because I believe in the freedom that we do have that is slowly slipping away that we have to fight for.
	But I'm of the opinion that if you really hate the country that much and you're promoting that kind of thing, then that's your prerogative.
	I don't have any feelings of that.
	I think we have a nuclear program because our enemies have nuclear programs.
	Yeah, in a utopian communist world and socialism, we just get rid of every nuclear weapon and then we can live in utopia.
	We can all live together and we can hold hands and sing kumbaya and it'll be fun.
	It'd be great.
	I mean, I'd love that world, be honest.
	It probably would get fairly boring, I would imagine.
	But moreoverly, you know, just from my personal perspective, I'm not signing up for the Screw America train.
	I want to fix America.
	I want to make it better.
	I want to improve it, as it were.
	And, you know, it's a slow process.
	It's going to take time.

	We're in the book of James.
	We're actually getting close to the end of the book of James.
	We're in chapter 5. And I want to read these couple verses here.
	Verse 7 and 8, it says, Therefore, brothers, be patient until the Lord's coming.
	See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth and is patient with it until it receives the early and late rains.
	You also must be patient.
	Strengthen your hearts because the Lord's coming is near.
	And I love the simplicity of that verse, but the real message, you know, when I started getting into sort of gardening slash farming, growing things not too long ago, I really got into it and started making my own sort of victory garden at my house and getting, you know, learning how to plant everything so that I could be more self-sufficient.
	It's a great skill to have.
	But one thing you find is that when you're growing things, one of the most key elements is patience, right?
	Patience.
	And that's exactly what this verse is talking about, is that you need to find strength in your heart through the patience that you exhibit in your life.
	So that's my encouragement to you.
	I want you guys to take these words, use them, and find patience in your lives and use that patience to temper yourself and humble yourself before the Lord.
	So as I always say at the end of every episode, if you haven't accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, I make this invitation today.
	Open your heart, say a prayer, call upon his name, accept him as your Lord and Savior, and just let him in to do great things in your life.
