The truth.
It is the middle ground between light and shadow, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge.
This is Just Informed Talk Radio, where we are not ashamed of the gospel.
Because it is God's power for salvation to everyone who believes.
One thing, I don't know why.
It doesn't even matter how hard you try.
Keep that in mind.
I designed this rhyme to explain it through time.
All I know, time is a valuable thing.
Watch it fly by as the pendulum swings.
Watch it count down to the end of the day.
The clock takes life away.
It's so unreal.
Then look out below.
Watch the time go right out the window.
Trying to hold on, but you didn't even know.
Wasted it all just to watch you go.
I kept everything inside, and even though I tried it all.
Welcome back to another Just Informed Talk Radio show.
I'm your host, Craig James.
We're back.
Big stories to cover.
We're going to get into it all in the second hour.
Make sure you stay tuned for it.
We're going to talk about the riots in L.A. and give you a good breakdown of that situation.
But first, you know, we start every week the right way.
We try to start every week with a sermon.
Monday in the first hour from Pastor Dean Miller of Front Range Baptist Church right here in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Today is no different.
His sermon titled, Seven Steps to a Better Life.
Let's go ahead and listen to that.
Ecclesiastes chapter 6. If you haven't been with us through this study, as I've been preaching through this book on how to have a fruitful life, we want to bear fruit in a barren world.
And this is a world today that is...
People need to see and taste and see that the Lord is good.
You ever thought about the fact that an orange tree doesn't eat oranges?
Apple trees don't eat apples.
We as Christians don't bear fruit for ourselves.
We bear fruit for others.
And we are fruit-bearing Christians so that others can taste and see that the Lord is good.
And we want to be fruitful Christians in this world.
And yet so many people are not living a fruitful life.
They're living a futile life, an empty life.
And we're looking at Solomon's mistakes in the book of Ecclesiastes.
His futility and emptiness of life.
Everything was empty.
And here's the thing.
Solomon had more than any man has ever had.
He had more prosperity than any man's ever had.
He's had more power than any man ever had.
Solomon had more power.
He had everything at his disposal.
Solomon had everything.
And by the way, he pursued everything trying to fill the void in his heart.
And he couldn't do it.
And at the end of all of it, he says, all is vanity.
It's all empty.
The word vanity meaning like a soap bubble.
Here it is.
You can see it, but when you grasp it, there's nothing there.
This is what the world is doing.
The world is looking for everything that it can fill the emptiness of life with.
Drugs, sex, alcohol, money, prosperity.
They're doing everything they can to find a solution.
That will satisfy them, and yet everything becomes more and more empty.
And this is what Solomon has been on this quest to do.
And in this book, everything has been under the sun, under the sun, under the sun.
He has a very horizontal view of life.
Down here in this world, there is nothing that satisfies you.
All is vanity.
And by the way, listen, he wasn't wrong.
All is vanity.
For those of you that have been with us in this study, I want to call this to your remembrance.
And for those of you who have not been with us, I want to put this in front of you.
That in the New Testament, we find the fulfillment of all of this.
And by the way, the Old Testament is not something that should be discarded.
There is a well-known television preacher, megachurch pastor that's been saying, we need to unshackle the church from the Old Testament, that the God of the Old Testament is not the God of the...
That could not be more heretical and further from the truth.
The Old Testament is vitally important to understanding the New Testament, and the New Testament is essential to understanding the Old Testament, and the Old Testament was written for our learning.
We see the Old Testament showing out in examples and testimonies.
By the way, when you read about this in the Bible, the testimonies of the Lord, the testimonies of the Lord, that's the Old Testament.
These are his testimonies.
God uses Solomon as a testimony, Abel as a testimony, David as a testimony.
These are stories played out where we see the principles of God's word in these lives.
And so, we find, and I want to call this to your attention, that vanity is the nature of the world.
God made it that way.
Romans chapter 8, verse 20 in the New Testament says, For the creature, that's all the creation, was made subject unto vanity.
Not willingly, but by reason of him who has subjected the same in hope.
What is he saying there?
It was God who made everything in this life under the curse of vanity and emptiness.
And that was one of the most gracious things God could have ever done in this world that was broken and full of sin, was to make sure that nothing in this world could satisfy you.
Because if we could find satisfaction in anything in this world, we would.
We would.
But nothing in this world will satisfy you because you have a God-shaped hole in your soul.
And the only thing that will fill that emptiness is the Lord Himself.
God made everything in life to be vain so that one day you would have to seek Him.
By the way, listen to me.
Young people, getting married is not going to fix the emptiness in your soul.
There are people who jumped into a marriage and they got married because they thought this was Mr. Right, this was Mrs. Right.
Actually, it was Mr. Right and Mrs. Always Right.
But they got married thinking that, man, this is going to fix my problems.
And listen, they found out they had more problems.
Because they were trying to get from one another what they could only get from God.
Only God can fill the void in your soul.
Only Him.
And everything else will make it empty.
Watch what Solomon says in verse number 11 of chapter 6. Look at it in your Bible.
Ecclesiastes chapter 6, verse 11. Solomon's coming to a conclusion here and he says, Seeing there be many things that increase vanity.
What is man the better?
Seeing there are many things that increase vanity, what is man the better?
How is man ever going to make his life better if everything only makes life more empty?
I've had all the pleasure a man can have and I'm more empty today than I was.
I've had more money than a man could ever have and yet I'm more empty than I ever was.
I've had more power than I've ever had and yet I'm more empty than I ever was.
And my life is empty and vanity.
How can I make my life better?
Solomon's going to answer that question in chapter 7 in 7 Steps to a Better Life.
Here's, and by the way, he's going to use a lot of words about wisdom, but he's going to use the word better eight times here to tell you how to, how does a man take the emptiness of life and make his life any better?
Here it is.
Are you ready for it?
Number one, watch this.
Verse number one of chapter seven.
A good name is better than precious ointment and the day of one's death than the day of one's birth.
All right?
So everybody look right this way.
Young people, you listen to this very carefully.
The first way that Solomon said you better make your life better is number one, to have a good name.
To have a good name.
What does that mean?
That's your reputation.
That's your character.
That's your integrity.
He said a good name is better than precious ointment.
Now in these ancient days, precious ointment, valuable, valuable ointment and perfumes were very important.
They were very important because they did not have the showers like we have today.
They walked a lot of dry, dusty roads.
And you can imagine the smells in those Middle Eastern places.
And I've been on some airplanes in foreign countries with people who did not know anything about hygiene.
And I wished I had some precious ointment with me.
And now when I travel abroad, I take Vicks Vaporrobe and I just take a couple dabs and I stick it up in my nostrils.
And I will tell you, I love that burn more than the other burn.
Precious ointment is not as valuable as a good name.
Solomon could buy all the ointment that he wanted.
He had the most incredible spices and perfumes from around the world.
And yet he realized that what was more important than that was his name.
A good name.
A man will have three names in his life.
He'll have a name that his parents give him when he's born.
He'll have a name that his friends know him by in his life.
And he will have a name that he made for himself at his death.
You have three names in your life.
What kind of name do you have?
What's your reputation in your family?
What's your reputation among your friends?
What do people at your job know you to be?
What is your reputation among your church family?
That's more precious than ointment.
By the way, this ointment was expensive.
Do you remember Mary of Bethany in the New Testament who broke that vial of ointment and anointed Jesus' feet?
And Judas Iscariot said, hey, that could have been sold and given to the poor.
In the Gospel of John, chapter 14, verse 15, Jesus says, If you love me, you will keep my commandments.

Welcome back to Just Forum Talk Radio.
We're listening to Pastor Dean Miller from Front Range Baptist Church here in Fort Collins, Colorado.
His sermon titled, Seven Steps to a Better Life.
Let's go right back to it.
Tell you, they gave the value of that in the New Testament, that value of that ointment that Mary broke was $35,000 in our dollars today.
This was extremely expensive perfume, but here's what Solomon realized.
Solomon said it's one thing to meet somebody who smells good until you get to know them and then their name stinks.
Long after the fragrance fades, your name will live.
Long after the fragrance, listen, you can go to the store and buy all kinds of perfume and cologne and you can smell however you want.
You can go on a date and impress anybody you want to impress.
But long after that fades, your name will remain.
Your reputation is more important than the fragrance.
What does he mean here when he says in the day of death is better than the day of one's birth?
Is Solomon saying that it's better to die than to be born?
Well, no, because a man can't die unless he's been born.
Solomon is not some morbid individual here saying, well, we just want to die.
That's not what he's saying at all.
What Solomon is saying here is, He's saying like what the Native Americans had a saying when they said that on the day that you were born, you cried and the world rejoiced.
But the day that you die, the world cries and you rejoice.
What he was simply saying was this, like if a man has a good name, you got a name that your parents gave you when you're born, but it's better at your death with the name that you've earned for yourself by the integrity and the character.
By which you've lived.
What is your name today?
If some of you know me as Dean Miller you might call me Pastor.
But I will tell you my family knows me and my reputation.
They know my name.
Who are you?
Do you have a good name?
Let me tell you something.
You better work harder at your name and your reputation than you do buying the best fragrances that you can buy.
If you walk outside in the parking lot and you see an automobile.
And it says, Mercedes.
What does that tell you?
It tells you they got a pretty high car payment.
It tells you luxury.
It tells you dependability.
It tells you quality craftsmanship and reliability.
Why?
That's in that name.
That's in the name.
But if I had a Yugo, that was the dumbest name for a car.
To name something a car, give it a name that it can't do.
Yugo.
It didn't go anywhere.
The engines burn up in that thing.
You'd be better to just knock the floor out and be Fred Flintstone and run with your feet.
How many of you remember those old cars, the Yugos?
Remember those?
They were terrible.
A good name.
You know, it's amazing.
You walk into a restaurant.
Every restaurant smells good on the outside.
You smell that.
Man, it smells good.
Then you walk in.
And the food might have salmonella or E. coli or botulism or something in it.
And it's just not good food.
But if you go to a restaurant, people say, man, you go to this restaurant, it's good.
You go there and the chef prepares a great meal and you eat a good meal.
Listen, you leave there and you tell the people, you got to eat there.
This place is the best.
This place is the best.
And they get a good name.
They made a name for themselves.
Well, I want to tell you something.
You're making a name for yourself.
What is your name?
A good name is better than precious ointment.
Long after you impressed us, In that first moment, when we got to know you, that name is more valuable.
How to have a better life?
Make a name for yourself.
A good name.
A good name.
Number two, look at verse number two.
Some of you are going to think, Pastor, you need to go back on vacation.
You're losing your mind.
Look at verse two.
It is better to go to the house of mourning than to go to the house of feasting.
For that is the end of all men, and the living will lay it to his heart.
You know how you have a better life?
Solomon said, go to a funeral home.
Go to a funeral home.
Go visit the mortuary.
Go visit the funeral home.
It's better to go to a funeral than it is to a birthday party.
Now, none of us would choose to go to a funeral if we didn't have to.
But Solomon said it's more value in going to that than going to the place of feasting.
Why?
Because you're going to see where you're going to end up.
Going to the funeral home will give you a look at the end of your life.
Wisdom is teaching Solomon here that death has a way of boiling life down to what is absolutely important.
When I was a boy, my dad was a pastor.
My dad preached a lot of funerals.
When I was a boy, funerals terrified me.
We had crazy things happen at funerals, but funerals terrified me.
I remember one time I was really little.
I was with my mother.
And I have a brother that's 10 years older than me and a brother that's 7 years older than me.
And then I was the accident way down.
And I got two sisters that are much older than me.
And I remind them of that often.
I love my sisters.
They're just more mature.
But then there's our brothers.
They're just old.
They're not mature, but they're old.
And my brothers are 10 and 7 years older than me.
And I was little.
I was with my mom.
We were at this funeral home.
And my brothers were playing around.
And I must have been 3 or 4 years old, but I can still remember this.
My oldest brother had to be about 14. And they were messing around in this funeral home.
And they got back in one of the little places back there where they were getting ready for a viewing.
And the casket was open and the body was in there.
And they got back there, and my brother was always trying to scare me and my little brother.
My other brother.
He was always trying to scare us.
And so he was back there with my brother, and I was with my mother.
It was a funeral home.
I wasn't walking around.
It was creepy.
And my older brother's back there with my brother, and he said, Matt, look at this guy.
Look at him.
Look at him.
If you look, you see his chest moving up and down.
He's still alive.
And look at his eyes.
Look at his eyes.
You can see his eyes blinking.
Look at him.
He was just trying to scare my brother.
Well, we didn't know they were back there doing that.
We were in the middle of what we were doing and there was a blood-curdling scream.
And my mother took off running and she got back there and it was coming out of the bathroom.
My mother went in the bathroom.
I mean, my brother was screaming so blood-curdling scared.
And my oldest brother was trying to climb behind the toilet.
And he's screaming bloody murder.
And there was a man standing there, true story, who was the twin brother of the man who died.
And he had come to see his brother and he walked in the bathroom with my brothers and there he was!
The corpse is alive!
And my brother was freaking out!
Listen, I used to freak out at funerals.
Man, I was scared to death at funerals.
But I will tell you, as a pastor over the years, I've learned to find great value in funerals.
I've let the Lord teach me my mortality.
I'm going to die one day.
And a funeral, Solomon said, if you want to live a better life, don't just always chase the party.
Go to a funeral one day and see where you're going to end up.
Every grave preaches a simple sermon to every passerby.
And every grave says, I'll see you soon.
I'll see you soon.
You do yourself a great favor just to go visit the funeral home and understand that your life is a vapor.
What are you living for?
It'll help you to see what's important.
Number three.
Look at verse three.
Sorrow is better than laughter.
For by the sadness of the countenance, the heart is made better.
The heart of the wise is in the house of mourning, but the heart of fools is in the house of mirth.
Listen to me.
Number three.
How do you make your life better?
Number three.
Here's the third step.
Make the most of sadness.
Now see, in our world today, we don't want to be sad.
The greatest sin in our culture, listen, it's a sin to call sin, sin anymore in our culture.
And the greatest sin in the American culture is sadness.
So we've got to make yourself happy.
So if you have to mutilate your body and take all kinds of blockers and you've got to go out and fight the world and march against the society to make yourself happy, you do what makes you happy.
Go be happy.
Find happiness.
Take this pill.
Drink this.
Shoot this.
Go there.
Be with them.
Do whatever makes you happy.
Just chase happiness.
Listen to me.
Our world is running away from sadness.
And you know what the Bible says?
It's actually sadness that will make your life better.
And I'm not saying, Solomon is not saying that it's not okay to be happy.
He's not teaching that at all.
In many places in the scripture, Solomon said, A merry heart doeth good like a medicine.
He said, A merry heart maketh a glad countenance.
God fills our mouth with laughter.
God is a God of joy and happiness.
That's okay, but I will tell you something.
What we try to do when we get to places of sorrow and sadness is we do our best to forget it.
Some of you have gone through sadness in your life and you've tried to drink it away.
Let me tell you what you're doing.
You're going after the wrong spirits.
You're going after a bottle when you should grab your Bible.
You're trying to drink that cup of wine so you can relax at night and you can forget your troubles.
You listen to me.
You listen to me.
You know who has troubles?
They that tarry along at the wine.
They that get all chasing after something to drown out their sorrows.
Listen, we want to escape our sadness instead of learning from our sadness.
And there's going to be times in your life when you're going to go through great mourning and difficult seasons.
Learn from that.
That'll make your life better.
You'll learn more.
Sitting alone somewhere, tears on your face than you will in a comedy house with tears of laughter rolling down your face.
Solomon said, it is sadness and sorrow that will make your heart better.
Sorrow is one of the greatest teachers you'll ever have in your life.
More people have gotten right with God in times of great sorrow than they ever had in times of great pleasure and joy.
Sorrow will make you seek out God.
Make you depend on God.
Quit trying to drown your sorrows in a pill and in a bottle and with a needle.
Quit trying to doom scroll yourself out of your misery.
Stop it and face it.
It's okay to have sorrow.
It's okay to mourn.
It's okay to feel that sorrow.
Cry out to God.
Pour out your complaint to the Lord.
Weep with the Lord.
Jesus wept.
It's okay.
You're going to learn some things when you go through heartaches in life.
We live in a culture today that thinks it's a sin to be sad.
It's not a sin to be sad.
It's a sin to stay sad.
You don't have to stay sad.
The joy of the Lord is your strength.
But I will tell you something.
You need to learn from your sorrows.
The poet wrote, I walked a mile with pleasure.
She chatted all the way.
But left me no more the wiser for all she had to say.
I walked a mile with sorrow.
And never a word said she.
But all the things I learned as sorrow walked with me.
I will tell you today, some of you are looking for the wrong answers for the sorrows of your heart.
You'll learn a lot when you go God's way.
Let's look at the next thing.
Here is the fourth thing.
Look at verse number five.
It is better.
Solomon is trying to give us a better life.
It is better to hear the rebuke of the wise.
Then for a man to hear the song of fools, as the crackling of thorns under a pot, so is the laughter of the fool.
This is also vanity.
Surely oppression make of the wise man mad, and a gift destroyeth the heart.
Listen to what Solomon said here.
Look at that again.
Look at verse number 5. It is better to hear the rebuke of the wise than for a man to hear the song of fools.
Let me tell you what the song of fools is.
It's the crackling of thorns under a pot.
It makes a lot of noise, gives off a lot of heat, but it burns up very quickly.
What's he saying?
He's saying, if you want to make your life better, learn to receive.
Listen to me.
Young people, hear me.
Learn to receive corrective criticism.
Learn to receive corrective criticism.
Nobody likes to be corrected.
Nobody likes to be rebuked.
Trying to tell your kids to do something.
Now you listen to me and what are they doing?
They sit there like, oh yes, dad, bring it on.
You better do what I'm telling you to do.
You see a parent correcting a kid and what's the kid doing?
Yeah, dad, I'm learning.
No, they're not.
My mother was 5 '3", Scandinavian.
She would pillage your village in a hurry.
I was scared to death of her.
She was at the kitchen sink one time.
She was washing dishes at the kitchen sink.
And I was walking out of the kitchen and she said something to me that as a teenage boy just didn't set well with me.
And I made sure I got out of the room.
Her back was to me and I went like that.
She never turned around.
She said, don't you roll your eyes at me.
I'll smack you so hard I'll knock them out and I'll roll them back.
Nobody likes correction.
Nobody likes to receive.
Somebody gets pulled over for a ticket and you tell that officer, I'm going to challenge this.
I'm going to court to fight this.
There was no way I was doing 90 in that 75. No, you were actually doing 95 in a 70, but nobody likes to be corrected.
My dad called me this morning.
Well, I called him this morning and my dad lives down in Canyon City.
He started a church in Colorado Springs in 1976 when I was two.
Pastored that church all these years, and then my brother's the pastor there now.
And my dad drives up.
He's 85, and he drives up there every Sunday to teach a Sunday school class.
And I called him today and said, Dad, how you doing?
He said, Oh, son.
He said, I guess I'm doing okay.
I said, What's going on?
He said, I've been driving up to Canyon City all these years to teach this class.
Today was the first time I was going through Penrose, and I got pulled over.
And on a Sunday morning, and I said, oh yeah?
How fast were you going?
He said, well, he said I was going 61 and not 50. I said, well, were you?
He said, well, that's what he said.
And I said, well, what happened?
He said, well, he came up there, and he said, the first thing I said was, I just want you to know, I have a concealed carry permit, and I do have a concealed weapon in the police.
I said, okay, well, don't show me yours, and I won't show you mine.

Why does it seem America is slowly sinking?
Whose fault is it?
It's not Biden, Obama or Trump.
It's not the Democrats or Republicans.
It's not the military, corporations or foreign countries.
It's the Federal Reserve.
A central banking system made up of private bankers that corrupt and control virtually all aspects of the world's money supply and the economy.
All of the major problems of the world can be traced back to the Federal Reserve and central banks of other countries.

Seven Steps to a Better Life.
Let's get right back to it.
I was thinking about my lesson and really meditating on that.
I wasn't paying attention.
Anyway, so the guy went back and ran his credentials and all and found out that Dad hadn't committed any major crimes lately.
Came back up to the car and he said, all right, well, I'm going to let you off with a warning and just want you to slow it down through here.
And dad said, I will.
My dad said, here, let me give you this.
Dad gave him a gospel track, preached the gospel to him.
And the guy said, hey, thank you for giving me that.
My dad said, well, I gave it to you because you didn't give me something.
But he didn't like getting rebuked.
Nobody likes to get corrected, do we?
But you hear me very quickly.
You're going to get more for correction.
In your life, for someone who loves you, somebody who has wisdom to look into your life and to tell you what you need to hear.
You're going to learn more from that than somebody to flatter you.
Let me tell you the difference between flattery and gossip.
Gossip is something that people will say behind your back that they would never say to your face.
And flattery is something that people will say to your face that they would never say behind your back.
Nobody needs a bunch of thorns under their pot, crackling away with flattery.
What you need is some wise people in your life that will give you correction and give you strong rebukes.
The Bible says the faithful are the wounds of a friend.
You young people, listen, it doesn't feel good to listen to mom and dad correcting you, but you better listen to your parents' correction.
You've never been where they are, but they've been where you are.
They know a thing or two, and you better listen to your parents.
Nobody likes correction, but you're going to learn more from correction than you will from flattery.
Listen to corrective criticism.
I think Solomon had David in mind, his father David.
You remember David?
That great king and the psalmist of Israel, the great shepherd?
And David had sinned with Bathsheba.
David was living in sin.
By the way, for one year in David's life, he didn't write one psalm.
He never gave God one praise.
For one year in David's life, he ran from God and lived under the consequences of his guilt and misery and shame.
David was a miserable man for a year trying to cover his sin.
Until finally there was a prophet with some character and some integrity and some authority.
And the prophet Nathan came in and said, Hey David, let me tell you a little story about a rich man who had pastures full of sheep.
And right down the hill from him was a little poor man and his family.
They only had one little sheep.
It was like a pet with them.
It lived in the house.
It slept in the bed.
It ate at their table.
They gave it a name.
They only had that one little sheep.
They loved that sheep.
And the rich man with pastures full of sheep had a friend come to his house and he wanted to be hospitable.
So instead of taking one of his thousands of sheep and fixing that man a meal, he went down to his little poor neighbor's house, took his one little lamb and killed it and fed it to his friend.
David, what do you think should happen to him?
Ooh, the heart of that shepherd boy, David, spurred in him his love.
And he said, that man ought to be put to death.
And Nathan put his finger in David's face and said, David, you are the man.
That's what you did.
You took Uriah's wife.
You're the king of Israel.
You've got everything.
You're the man that did it.
It didn't do David good to hear it.
He didn't rejoice when he heard it.
But he went into his chambers and he fell on his face before God.
And for the first time in a year, David cried out to God and he wrote his first psalm, Have mercy on me, O God.
Wash me and I shall be whiter than snow.
Blot out my transgressions.
O God, forgive me.
Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation.
O God, forgive me and I'll teach transgressors thy ways.
And David went on in the second half of his life to live a holy and prosperous life before God.
David endured that correction and God made him better through it.
Sometimes you need someone just to stand up and put a finger in your nose and say, this is what you did wrong.
And no one likes to hear it, but you need it.
If you want a better life, get around people who will be honest with you and correct you.
Listen, by the way, that's why you don't need to go find a place that's going to give you...
Somebody that will tiptoe through the tithers.
You need a man that will stand with the Bible in his hand and open up the Word of God and preach the Word of God and reprove and rebuke and exhort and correct.
You need that in your life.
And I think Solomon had this in mind when he wrote these words.
He wrote what David said in Psalm 141 in verse 5. David said, listen to these.
David said, let the righteous smite me.
It shall be a kindness.
Let him reprove me and it shall be excellent oil.
Let a righteous man smack me upside the head.
That's the kindest thing someone can do to you.
John Wesley was preaching one day and there was a woman in the church that was known for her sharp tongue and her quick criticism and she was just a bossy.
Critical woman.
And she came up to John Wesley after the service and she said, Mr. Wesley, your tie offends me.
The length of the strings on your tie offend me.
No pastor should stand with a tie that long.
And he said, well, my dear, do we have any shears?
I will let you trim it.
I want to trim it to your liking.
And they found somebody that had some scissors and they came.
He said, here, dear lady, trim my tie to your liking.
And she cut it.
Cut his tie right off.
And he said, is this appropriate now?
And she said, yes, that's the way it should be.
That's much better now.
He said, may I borrow the shears?
And she said, yes.
And he said, you have something that is a little too long yourself, and I would like to trim it.
And she said, what is that?
He said, stick out your tongue.
Your tongue is too long.
And I'll tell you, that's exactly what that woman needed to hear.
She needed somebody who was wise enough and bold enough and courageous enough that loved her enough to tell her the truth.
If you have somebody that will tell you corrective truth, there's a great treasure in your life.
Take correction.
Number five, look at verse eight.
We're going to hurry here.
Verse eight, better is the end of a thing than the beginning of it.
It's kind of like a sermon, isn't it?
Better is the end of a sermon than the beginning of it.
Better is the end of a thing than the beginning of it.
And the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.
Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry for anger rested in the bosom of fools.
Here's what he's saying here.
If you want a better life, listen to me.
Learn to be patient.
Learn.
To be patient.
The end is better than the beginning.
Everybody loves to start, but very few people can finish.
And most people get to the end of something and never get to enjoy that because the way they got there.
They cut corners.
They ran over people.
They didn't wait their time.
And here's the thing.
Listen to me.
You young couples.
Listen to your pastor for a minute.
You young couples will cut corners and you'll rush into at 30 what your parents have at 65 and 70. But you know what you have?
You have everything they have except now you've got all the debt and problems.
You didn't wait on the end of the thing the right way.
You didn't have enough patience to wait for it.
You wanted everything now.
And you didn't learn to be patient and get things as God gives them to you and be patient with it.
And so what happens when someone is impatient?
They get angry.
They cut corners.
They step over people.
They go get what they want.
And here's the problem with that is you'll get what you want, but you'll lose what you had.
But if you'll let God give it to you the way God desires to give it to you patiently, you'll get to the end of it.
You'll realize your dreams.
You'll realize the fulfillment of it.
And you'll enjoy what God gave you.
All right, we'll be back.
All right.

970-775-0623 970-775-0623 Let's
go right back to Pastor D. Miller and his sermon, Seven Steps to a Better Life.
But it requires patience.
It requires patience.
Look at verse 10. He says in verse 10, What is the cause that the former days were better than these?
For thou dost not inquire wisely concerning this.
What's he saying here?
Solomon is saying, here's what people do.
People who are impatient.
Live in this life today and what they do is they look back at the way things used to be and they, oh, I want the good old days back.
I want the good old days back.
And the way it used to be is better than the way it is now.
People pying for the good old days.
Let me tell you what the good old days are.
The good old days are a combination between a bad memory and a good imagination.
The good old days were not always that good.
You understand that, right?
People always say, you know, back in the old days, you know, these are the good old days.
And I want to say to people, but this is now.
This is today.
The old men in Jerusalem wept when they began to rebuild the temple.
They wept because they remembered the former temple.
But the young men rejoiced because they were doing a work for God and God was going to do a great work there.
And they went, oh, we wish it was the way it was before.
Well, it's not.
This is the way it is now.
This is the day the Lord has made.
Let's rejoice and be glad in it.
And I will tell you, impatient people, they perfect the past.
And they rush the present to get to a future that won't satisfy them.
Solomon said, just be patient with what you have.
Be patient with where you're at.
Hey, don't you rush this thing.
Listen to me.
Hey, young people, look at me.
Young people, don't rush.
You can't rush the washing machine.
You can't rush it.
It's got to go through its cycles.
It's got to go all the way to the end.
You get 16 and you start looking for the wrong things at 16. Listen, you know why God gave you at 16 years old?
Why God gave you hormones and God gave you affections and God gave you this awareness.
All of a sudden, every boy turns 16 and becomes a Girl Scout.
And there's a reason why God gave you that.
God gave it to you because He's preparing you to be married.
It's not time for you to be married and it's not time for you to have those things.
Listen to me.
God, listen, young people, look at me.
God is not trying to keep sex from you.
He's trying to keep you for it.
In its right time, in the right way.
Be patient with your life.
Endure right now.
Grow in this season.
Don't rush this thing.
Don't go in debt to get everything that you think you have to have.
Be patient.
Then the end will be better than the beginning.
How foolish it is to go out and get what you want.
Man, you sign the dotted line.
Yeah, we're enjoying this new car.
Then the payments come.
Man, we furnished our house, all this furniture.
Then the credit card payments show up.
Be patient.
You want a better life?
Be patient.
You know what?
We need this message today, don't we?
This is practical today.
How's your reputation?
Have you looked at your life from the end of it at the funeral home?
Are you receiving corrective criticism in your life?
Are you letting somebody speak into your life that will tell you the things that you need to hear, not just what you want to hear?
Are you patient?
A young man prayed one time.
He went to his pastor and said, Pastor, pray for me to have more patience.
Pastor said, Son, I would be glad to because you need it.
He said, I know I need it, Pastor.
Let's pray about that.
And the pastor put his arm around him and said, Oh, God.
Jimmy here is praying for patience.
And Lord, I want you to give him patience.
Give him tribulations and trials and hardships.
Lord, just put him through some hards.
I'm not asking for that.
And the pastor said, oh, but Jimmy, don't you understand?
Tribulation work with patience.
Be patient.
Some of you are going through some things right now in your marriage.
You're about to bail out of that thing.
You better stop it.
You better be patient through it.
You better wait through it.
Don't you hit the ejection seat.
You wait through it.
Some of you parents are having some difficulties with your kids.
You better wait that thing out.
You better be patient with that.
You stay with it all the way to the end.
Don't you bail out on that hardship.
Some of you young people want to quit.
You want to get out of school.
You want to drop out.
You want to take the easy route.
You better stop it.
You better stay patient.
You better stay in that thing.
Finish the course.
Better is the end of it than the beginning if you do it God's way.
Here's the last couple things.
Watch this.
Look at verse number.
11, very quickly.
Wisdom is good with an inheritance, and by it there is profit to them that see the sun.
For wisdom is a defense, and money is a defense.
But the excellency of knowledge is that wisdom giveth life to them that have it.
You know, Solomon said, if you want a better life, you better get wisdom.
Here's the sixth step to a better life.
Get wisdom.
Solomon wrote in the book of Proverbs, with all your getting, get wisdom.
Wisdom is the principal thing.
Listen to me.
You don't get wisdom at the academy.
You don't get wisdom at CSU.
You don't get wisdom from a book.
You don't get wisdom in this world of experience.
There's only one book that you can get wisdom from.
There's only one place that wisdom comes from.
If any man lacks wisdom, let him ask of God.
You better get wisdom.
Wisdom is thinking God's way.
Wisdom is seeing life God's way.
I hear a lot of people who say, well, man, you Christians, you know, you just see life differently.
Yes, we do.
We see it God's way.
Well, yeah, but it looks like it's no fun.
How's your way working out?
It doesn't work out so well going through marriage after marriage after marriage after marriage.
It doesn't work out so well going through the hardships and rehab and all of the addiction recoveries and all those things.
Listen, get wisdom.
Be wise.
Money is a defense, but wisdom is a defense.
What is the psalm saying?
This is a Hebrew play on words.
He's contrasting and comparing two things, and he said, you know what?
Riches are great.
You can get a lot of things with riches, but wisdom is equally as great.
You can get a lot of things with wisdom.
And I'll tell you, a poor man can have wisdom and be richer than a wise man without it.
How many of you have ever seen somebody who got an inheritance and then blew through it?
Because they didn't have any wisdom.
Wisdom is the principal thing.
I'll tell you, here's how you can tell if you have wisdom.
Answer two questions and you can tell how much wisdom you have.
These are the two tests of wisdom.
Number one, where is God in the priority of your life?
And number two, how does the Bible play in every decision that you make?
Where is God in the priorities of your life?
And how does the Bible affect the decisions that you make?
What you do with God, where you place God in your life, and what you do with His Word is equal to how much wisdom you have.
Wisdom is a defense.
And I'll say this lastly.
Look at verse 13. Consider the work of God.
For who can make that straight which he hath made crooked?
In the day of prosperity be joyful, but in the day of adversity consider.
God has also set the one over against the other to the end that man should find nothing after him.
What is Solomon saying here?
Here's the seventh way to a better life.
Look what he said.
Watch what he said.
Consider the work of God.
He said in verse 14, In the day of prosperity be joyful in the day of adversity.
Consider God has also set the one over the other.
We'll be back.

Okay, I've been hearing a lot about the LifeWave patches and they sound amazing.
And I'm thinking I want to try them for myself.
But can you tell me how they work?
Okay, well, you wear the patch, which is about the size of a quarter, 12 hours a day.
12 on, 12 off.
And the patch uses your body's own light and energy and copper peptides to reactivate the dormant stem cells in your body.
Once a stem cell has been reactivated, it can be used by any of the cells in your body that need it, creating a healing and growth process you haven't experienced since your youth.
So in a nutshell, this is how the LifeWave X39 patch works.
You can purchase the LifeWave X39 patches by going to 1360KHNC.com and clicking on the Natural Health Products button at the top of the page.
Then simply scroll down to the LifeWave section, 1360KHNC.com, and click on the Natural Health Products button.

Robert A. Heinlein.
Robert A. Heinlein.
God, here's number seven.
How to have a better life.
Trust God with the balance of your life.
Trust God with the balance of your life.
What God is doing, you cannot undo.
If God has put you in a place right now that's a crooked place, you can't straighten it out.
If God has put you into a straight place, you can't make it crooked.
You can't undo what God is doing.
God has given you prosperity and God has given you adversity.
God has given you, listen, God has given you the balance of life.
God, trust God with the scales of your life.
If you don't trust God with the scales of your life, you're going to get your life out of balance.
Let me tell you what I love.
Warren Wiersbe, that great Bible commentator, said this.
He said, God, in the balance of life, God will give you enough blessings to keep you happy and enough burdens to keep you humble.
God will give you enough blessings to keep you happy and enough burdens to keep you humble.
Listen to me.
Hasn't God been good to you?
Has God been good to you?
God has been so good to me.
I look at all the things that God has given to me in my salvation and in my family.
My wife and I have been married almost 30 years and our three kids and our three grandkids.
The fact that God has allowed me to be a pastor, and I get the pastor, and this church has been so good to us, and loved us, and cared for us, and prayed for us, and we're so grateful.
God has been so good.
God has given me, in many ways, prosperity that gives us joy, but at the same time, God brings adversity into our life to keep us humble, to keep a dependence on Him.
You know why God allows things to come into your life?
So that you need Him.
The Arabs have a saying, where the sun always shines, it's desert.
Where the sun always shines, it's desert.
In every life a little rain must fall.
If you're going to grow and you're going to flower and you're going to bloom and you're going to have some fruitfulness, you're going to need some adversity in your life.
You're going to need some storms in your life.
Thank God for the sunshine days.
Enjoy them.
But know that the April showers bring May flowers.
In this case, the Mayflowers have brought June and mosquitoes.
Now here's...
You cannot make straight what is crooked.
There is no education.
There is no philosophy.
There is no psychology.
There is no way that you can make the human nature straight.
The human nature is as crooked as a dog's hind leg.
You can't medicate it.
You can't do anything to it to make it straight.
The only way that a crooked life can be made straight is a new life in Jesus Christ.
If you want to straighten your life out, you need to have Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
And when he comes in, if any man is in Christ, he's a new creature.
Old things are passed away.
All things are become new.
There is a new way in Jesus Christ, and it is a great way.
Jesus said, he said, broad is the way that leads to destruction.
He said, but here is the way that leads to life everlasting.
Straight is the gate.
And narrow is the way.
Jesus is the way.
And if you come to Jesus Christ, he'll straighten your life out.
And he'll fill that God-sized hole in your soul.
And then you can begin to work on that good name.
And you can start working on all the things, these steps, that will make your life better.
And God will take the balance of your life under his control.
If you're not saved today, I'm going to...
Wonderful sermon, Seven Steps to a Better Life.
And I can't agree more with all of them.
An incredible study of Ecclesiastes and sort of what lessons we can draw from Solomon's writings about the futility of life, right?
But there is hope in it, and we're so blessed to have that hope.
We're going to take a break, come back.
Hour 2 is coming up.
We're going to get right into the news.
We're going to talk about these riots in L.A. and what's coming.
This weekend.
More riots.
Yeah, that's right.
Anyway, stay tuned.
We'll give you a breakdown of that and much more.

This week I want to talk about love languages and how understanding them can have a huge impact on your relationship with your family, your kids, your spouse, and with your employees or your boss.
This information comes from a book by Gary Chapman and it describes that every person gives and receives love in one or two of the five ways.
One of these ways will appeal to you the most and when someone does that for you, that's how you feel the most loved.
Today I'll talk about words of affirmation.
Just like you can get used to feeling bad, you can get used to feeling good again when you use the LifeWave X39 patch.
This is not something you take or swallow or inject.
This patented LifeWave patch technology uses your body's own light energy to repair telomere ends and reactivate dormant stem cells to heal all the cells in your body so you can heal like you did during your youth.

Okay.
So, I told you we're going to give you an update of what happened over the weekend.
And to be quite honest...
And it looks like it's the Summer of Love all over again, which is great.
I was wondering when it was going to begin.
And of course, just in time for us...
The next election cycle with a bang, you know?
As we come up on the midterm elections, of course, you need violence in the streets that's carefully orchestrated and very intentionally set into motion.
Anti-ICE rioters smashed windows of LAPD headquarters.
They looted businesses in downtown Los Angeles.
And they've just completely caused chaos and havoc.
The videos and pictures coming out of Los Angeles and the surrounding areas are, you know, Mad Max-esque, if you will, watching people burning police cars and throwing rocks at motorcades of police officers.
just you know the most peaceful thing ever you watch a And they'll tell you, you know, this is all just a peaceful demonstration.
Meanwhile, you know, the cop cars are on fire and, you know, police officers are being beaten in the streets.
And, you know, here's where we're at, right?
This is all intentional.
And I have a clip that I thought was very poignant in explaining the intentionality behind all of this.
We've heard a lot from Mike Benz, the former State Department official who's kind of become a sherpa, if you will, of navigating the sort of intelligentsia's operational capabilities and what they've done in the past, right?
Almost a historian of all that, if you will.
And he explained it very clearly.
Basically, what this is...
Here is the clip.
I want to play this.
This is Mike Benz.
The warning signs to look for, I think there's no better description of what those warning signs are than what was said by U.S. ambassador turned legal hatchet man Norm Eisen, I believe in an MSNBC appearance this week, where he called the Trump administration an autocratic regime.
And we have tools to displace autocratic regimes around the world in, you know, people powered revolutions.
And this was this was this was the man who.
basically spearheaded nearly every lawfare push against Trump world for the past eight years, everything from the Trump impeachment to the J6 impeachment to all of the Ukraine affairs to running a group called CRU, which...
sued the Trump administration hundreds of times.
And, you know, he was the former U.S. ambassador to the Czech Republic for President Obama and even wrote a playbook basically on how to orchestrate color revolutions against populist movements that were rising in Europe while he was, you know, at the Brookings Institution just a few years ago.
And he's openly calling on live television to take that same role.
And the first two things that he said off the top were that this needs to be a legal fight and it needs to be a media fight.
So taking it to the courts and taking it to the media for hearts and minds.
But what you've seen, one of the warning signs that I'm very concerned about is that a fundamental part of these So
there you have it.
I mean, that's all this is.
It's a thin veneer that is hiding the subtle yet obvious and clear intention, which is running a color revolution in the United States.
And they're trying to give it this pretext of having legitimacy because, as Mike Benz pointed out, Being underserved.
And needing this democratically based revolution to free them.
Right?
So, look.
I want to put it this way.
Obviously, what we're seeing is highly orchestrated.
And it's not just relegated to Los Angeles.
Guess what?
They have plans for this upcoming weekend.
I'll tell you where when we come back.
Because it's probably going to be right in our backyard here in Colorado.
So, you're going to want to be prepared.
But there's other things you need to know about this as well that I think are worth mentioning.
So, we'll get into that and much more when we come back.
Stay tuned.
You're listening to Just Form Talk Radio.
We'll be back after a quick break.

No salespeople, no calls.
just old-fashioned service.
We'll be right back.
Welcome back.
I'm your host, Craig James.
And so we're talking about these riots, right?
And I mean, I think it's fairly clear, like Mike Benz had put it and others, you know, this is just another form of a color revolution that's being run through our country.
I mean, it's a great example, obviously, of why when you let a country become overwhelmed and inundated and invaded by another country's citizens who are here for, you know, violent reasons that things can go off.
You know, go off the rails really quickly, but that's not really what this is about.
I think this is more as we talked about with Mike Benz and his explanation of it.
And that was from well before this all started.
That this is orchestrated.
It's planned.
It's very carefully crafted.
It's injecting and creating the pretext for what's coming next, which is going to be the I mean, it wasn't too long ago that Jamie Raskin said that that was what they were going to do.
You know, the representative there from Maryland, I believe, Jamie Raskin, the radical left-wing lunatic, unhinged psychopath, he said, you know,
But that obviously failed.
And now this is like plan B, right?
Or this was the plan all along.
Either way, right?
And it sounds like that's what's happening, especially when you look at it all.
But they have more protests coming.
So this is going to be a nationwide destabilization effort.
It's going to be very similar to what we saw during the Summer of Love in 2020 with Black Lives Matter.
If you think about it, that's sort of the same game they're going to run.
And they're getting it started now, even earlier.
Right?
Because this is how you steal elections in a very open way.
This is how you run color revolutions in a very open manner.
I mean, there's no mask anymore.
The mask has been pulled off.
We see clearly what this all is.
They're still doing it anyway.
That's the disturbing part.
You have people literally giving us their playbook We're reading the plays.
They're running them still.
And they're saying, you're going to have to stop us because they're hitting on all fronts, right?
It was the media, then the lawfare, then the media, however you want to run that.
Now the riots.
It's all destabilizing.
The end goal being to Either depose Trump, right, and basically run him out of town, or basically hinder his ability to administer his executive control.
And there are others out there who are saying that really what these riots are going to end up doing is bringing in the security state.
They're going to take away more of our rights.
This is going to be a validation for the argument that Palantir or some other defense contractors should have these national databases to control us and further subjugate us, take away our rights.
And that's been the plan all along.
Look, I can hear and understand a lot of the arguments from all sides.
But at the end of the day, where does this all really come from?
I think is what the question is most people want to know the answer to.
And again, I've been of the belief for a long time now that there's just a high level of infiltration within our government and our corporations.
I think it comes from our enemies both domestically and foreign who want to see the United States fall.
Now, there's a number of reasons why they would want that.
You know, the global banking cartels want the U.S. to fall because it's how you bring in the one world currency.
You know, it's how you...
And the United States has to fall for their plans to come true.
And they want the United States to essentially become, you know, sort of a dystopic security state, if I had to guess.
Right?
But they're coming, and they're coming across the country.
And this is, again, why do we call it the Summer of Love?
Because a lot of the logistics of it all depend on things that are as simple as the weather.
Right?
How do you get people, you know, agitated and in the streets?
Well, Oh.
In some of these underserved, poorer, you know, more urban communities where it's not as comfortable to be indoors, perhaps, in certain types of areas for whatever reason.
You use social media to rile these people up, right?
Agitate them.
Tweak their algorithms and feeds.
And look, this is like the textbook, the playbook they ran in like the Arab Spring in Egypt.
This is not...
2019 kind of rolling into it.
And now they're doing it with the let's get the let's get the illegals and these idiot liberals to go out and burn down cities on behalf of.
Let me check my notes.
Fomenting and protecting the invasion of the United States of America by foreigners.
By foreign adversaries.
Genius!
Chef's kiss, hat tip, you know, just absolutely ingenious.
And then people are going to beg for the Palantir, you know, social credit score control systems to be put in place.
It's actually, it's rather maniacally beautiful.
And it's in the way it operates and how it's able to do it over and over again.
People just don't see it.
Now, again, if you're listening to the station, most likely you're aware of this.
You have a very keen insight on what's going on.
You see a lot of this stuff very clearly.
I'm not saying it to you, but the population, what I call the unassuming masses, you know, the ones who are watching, whatever, I think right now.
I was at a restaurant the other night, and I saw, I think, the NBA Finals now, so it's the championship for the basketball.
See, those people are inundated and consumed by that, the people who don't care and are unassuming, not paying attention.
Then you have the radical left, you know, agitated, whatever it is, 1% of the population, or 2% perhaps, or whatever, maybe small, like very small number of people who are sort of lionized in the media.
And then they are like portrayed as representing a large portion of the population when they don't.
They're out waving Mexican flags and burning down cars.
Somebody made a great point.
I saw Harrison Smith from Infowars.
He made a very good point.
And I'm only laughing because it's true and it's like, what else can I do?
But he said if they were waving Palestinian flags instead of Mexican flags, they probably would have been napalmed by now.
Trump would have sent B-52s to nuke L.A., right?
And I'm laughing just because it's, like I said, it's true.
It's like if they were burning Israeli flags and burning, you know, we would have had the Marines there by now, helicoptered in the 10th Mountain Division, would have been on the streets.
But, You know, when it's Mexico, I guess we have to play nice for whatever reason.
And it is an invasion.
Like, you watch these videos.
It's hard to translate video to, you know, radio, obviously.
Because I can describe to you what happened.
Their videos are police cars on fire.
You know, very emboldened mobs of Radical, young, they look like, you know, mostly Latino men, military-age men.
Interesting how that works.
punching cops, throwing rocks at cops.
They have, of course, the rent-a-riot prerequisite, the pallets of bricks and concrete blocks delivered right ahead of the protest because...
And guess what?
It sounds like it's coming here to Denver and Aurora.
Right now, they are announcing a from L.A. to Denver ice out emergency protest.
Radical left groups here in Colorado are planning anti-ice emergency protests in Aurora on Monday at GEO and ICE facilities in Denver on Tuesday at the state capitol.
With any luck, it won't be as bad as what we've seen in LA, but at this point, the only thing comparably incompetent Comparable in its incompetence to how the state of California runs is the state of Colorado.
And it's not even incompetence.
It's malicious.
It's nefarious.
It's criminal.
Yeah, it's all intentional.
Don't ever let them kid you when they say, you know, any of the...
When you turn on CBS and they say, we don't want them doing this.
That's a lie.
They want this.
It gives them more power.
Anything to destabilize society in a way that gives and affords the government more power is what they want.
Right?
So they want the riots.
No matter what they say.
I mean, I'm sure that whatever, you know, swanky little private gated community that Jared Polis, you know, calls home over in Boulder, or wherever he lives, and all the other minions that run around him, where they live, they don't want the violence there, of course.
Not in their backyard.
But, you know, if, you know, if Denver burns, who cares?
Aurora Burns, who cares?
They don't care.
I wish they did.
I wish our state wasn't run by, you know, an unhinged, you know, fringe, lunatic regime of ideologically driven zealots who believe in communism and the overthrow of capitalism.
Worshipping the rainbow flag and taking away your guns and making you a subject of the state.
I wish that wasn't the case, but wish in one hand and you-know-what in the other and see which one fills up first, as Somebody Wise once said to me.
But we've got a lot more to cover.
I have more information as well.
Stay tuned.
We're coming back.
We're coming back.
No people will tamely surrender their liberties, nor can any be easily subdued when knowledge is diffused and virtue is preserved.
On the contrary, when people are universally ignorant and debauched in their manners, they will sink under their own weight without the aid of foreign invaders.

KHNC.com Welcome
back to Just Forum Talk Radio.
I'm your host, Craig James, and we're talking about these riots.
It is sort of the big news story.
I mean, there were other news stories over the weekend.
Perhaps we'll get more into those later in the week.
This is kind of an important one, I think, though, because especially given the fact that they plan on bringing it across the country, not just here to Colorado, but next weekend or this upcoming weekend, Saturday the 14th, they are calling for more protests.
And I mean, you watch on TV what's happening, and you know, trauma-based mind control is very real.
And that's why TV captures this and captivates these audience in ways that really are working toward that end of trauma-based mind control.
They want you in a state, a perpetual state of fear and confusion.
You don't know what's going on.
You're afraid of what's going on.
So what do you do?
You look to the most established authority figure to get your orders, to get your directive, to get your security.
And that is the government.
And they want the government to be ever more powerful, controlling your life, restricting your freedom.
It's all for your good, though.
It's all for your security.
Remember that.
Remember that when they take away all your rights, it's because they want to make you safe.
What would you rather do?
Have dangerous freedom or safe subjugation?
And many people are conditioned to...
To choose safe subjugation because it's better than the alternative, right?
A scary future with unknown.
So that's all this is.
They're going to bring it across the country, but it also facilitates a lot of things as well, not just that.
I mean, we talk about, like, election fraud.
You know...
It's not just they're trying to do one thing.
It's like they can metaphorically kill multiple birds with one stone.
Kill two birds with one stone, but several in this analogy.
And one of the things it does is it serves to radicalize people, which then makes them agreeable to do things they wouldn't otherwise do.
Particularly, I mean, the people who helped commit election fraud.
Right?
I mean, you've got to radicalize somebody to convince them that Interfering and tampering with and rigging an election is not only a worthwhile endeavor, given the criminal penalty that you would face with that, but that it's like a matter of life and death.
If I don't rig this election against Trump and he wins, Hitler wins!
We're going to be in concentration camps.
So, that's one of the other purposes this serves.
I mean, you've got to get people riled up, and as culture acts in a sort of a pendulum, but like a pendulum that doesn't swing evenly, if that makes sense.
Because a pendulum sort of swings in an even boom, boom, boom, back and forth.
This is sort of like a tire swing that just gets kicked around.
It kind of swings here, swings there.
And culture has shifted.
The 2024 election should be an indicator of that.
People, even the most moderate people who, you know, apolitical, didn't like COVID, didn't like lockdowns, didn't like...
So through the course of the four years from 2020 to 2024, people were like, and then the prices, the inflation, the shortages, the everything that came, the wars.
People were like, man, can we just go back to like 20?
16-ish or 17 when things were like relatively calm.
3% interest rate on my mortgage.
I could go to the grocery store and buy a dozen eggs for, you know, $2.50.
Like, that's what pushed people back.
And plus the cultural stuff, right?
Democrats, they appeal to the hyper minorities.
In ways that just are gobsmacking to me.
It's like, they'll be like, oh, we have to have the trans coalition of, you know, gay, indigenous, two-spirited, you know, frog people.
It's like, who's that appealing to again?
Not the middle.
And when you put together that with the cudgel that was beating us into submission socially with the DEI and then there was the Me Too and it was, you know, diversity in Hollywood and all of a sudden every lead character is like, it's literally like that episode of South Park where it's like, put a chick in it and make her gay and lame.
You know, it's diversity.
People don't associate with that because it's just not, it doesn't appeal to, like, reality, right?
But I'm getting off on a bit of a tangent here, tangential rant.
However, I think the point remains that the point I was trying to make is that society shifted The perspectives have shifted.
This is like trying to push them back in line.
This is trying to make use of the tens of millions of illegals who have been brought here intentionally.
Their purpose was from the beginning was destabilization.
Let's quickly listen to the LAPD chief on the situation in LA yesterday.
We saw the first night was bad.
What we've seen subsequent to that is getting increasingly worse and more violent.
Tonight we had individuals out there shooting commercial-grade fireworks at our officers.
That can kill you.
And we have adapted our tactics to be able to have a chance to be able to take these people into custody and to be able to hold them accountable.
We are overwhelmed as far as the number of people out there engaged in this type of activity and the type of things that they're doing.
They'll take backpacks, and the backpack will have a cinder block in it.
They have a hammer, and they'll break up the cinder block and use that, pass it around to throw at officers, to throw at cars, and throw at other people.
We've seen people with hammers, and you've broadcasted, breaking the bollards behind the federal building and taking the rocks, if you will, or pieces of concrete, and throwing them at officers.
We've had liquid, who knows what, description thrown at officers.
There's no limit to what they're doing to our officers.
And again, as I mentioned in my statement, I can't thank our folks enough and our partner agency police officials for going out.
I think that that should be on the L.A. tourism board's front webpage when you go there.
It's like, visit L.A. You can have bottles of who knows what thrown at you.
Concrete and commercial grade fireworks rocketed at your forehead.
Come to LA.
It's wonderful.
You'll love it.
Oh, wait.
When we come back, I'm going to give you Gavin Newsom's response to it.
You'll love this.
It doesn't get much better than this.
Anyway, stay tuned.
We're coming back.
Listen up, people.

Since the closing of the gold window in 1971, the Federal Reserve has led the way in the explosion of debt and the devaluing of your money.
They openly say that they need 2% inflation, which simply means they hope to devalue your money and they want to do this.

Your host is Craig James.
And you've got to hear Gavin Newsom's response to all of this because it's just like one of those things where you're almost, and I think this is a part of the intention behind it, but you're almost shocked to a point of, I mean, they want to shock you to a point of inaction, right?
Where you're just kind of standing there going...
I've said this before the good example is like And there'll be a scene where, like, a bad guy will come in, right?
And the bad guy comes in and they're, you know, maybe the people are just calmly talking.
And then the bad guy will just, like, pull out a gun and shoot one of the guys.
Maybe one of the good guys.
And they're just sitting there.
And then the other person is just standing there in shock.
And they don't know what to do.
They're just like, did that really just happen?
And it's like your response is just shock and dismay, confusion.
That's what it is when they do this stuff.
It couldn't be more clear.
And you know, the playbook is fairly simple.
I thought this was great.
Cause an insurrection, foment violent protests, Force Trump to crack down, to send in the National Guard, call Trump a dictator who's using force on his own people, then impeach or handicap Trump and give the neocon rhinos the excuse to say, this is not who we are, right?
And that's like literally what's playing out.
Gavin Newsom, so Trump had to send in the National Guard to protect the federal buildings that were being surrounded by Literal criminal invaders from foreign countries who were firebombing those buildings and attacking the people working at them.
So Trump sends in the National Guard to literally protect those buildings and those people.
To which Gavin Newsom goes online and writes this.
Let's get this straight.
One, local law enforcement didn't need help.
Oh, really?
No, they didn't.
They were doing just fine while their cars were being burned and smashed.
And, you know, the police chiefs out there saying, we are overwhelmed and overrun.
But get this.
Then it comes, I guess, number two, Trump sent troops anyway to manufacture chaos and violence.
Of course it's Trump's fault.
It's not the people burning the police cars.
It's not the people, you know, smashing up the cinder blocks and throwing them at.
The police officers?
It's not their fault.
It's Trump's fault.
He basically committed violence against them by trying to stop them from committing violence.
If you don't understand that, then there's something wrong with you.
I think you have a problem.
Right?
Says the alcoholic when he's confronted.
I think you have the problem.
I know what I'm doing.
Yeah.
Three, this is it.
Gavin Newsom says, Trump succeeded!
Oh, again, it's Trump's fault.
It's not his.
He's just the governor.
What does he know?
What does he do?
Four, now they're, and this is where it gets into, like, this weird Alinsky-esque projection, you know.
He says, four, now things are destabilized and we need to send in more law enforcement just to clean up Trump's mess.
I love it.
I love it.
I mean, I don't love that this is happening, but I just like...
The fact that people buy this at this point...
It's just like, oh, I mean, hell, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
If you can just blame Trump for everything bad in the world, and then just continue to allow, that continues to allow you to be the most incompetent, malignant, you know, person in the history of governors, why not?
It's all Trump's fault.
I mean, the level of arrogance is almost impressive, to be quite honest.
Here's what's coming out of Los Angeles, right?
Mayor Karen Bass, who's been connected to the National Endowment for Democracy, which is a front for running the color revolutions in foreign countries, she's connected to that.
Now she's the mayor of L.A. And now there's riots that are seeking to destabilize and run color revolutions in America.
Oh, what a coincidence.
Who would have thought that?
Well, this is what is coming out of the LAPD.
They're saying this.
Last night when DHS and FBI requested assistance because they were overwhelmed by rioters, LAPD sat idle, waiting for direction.
Instead of allowing the incident commander to act, Mayor Karen Bass bypassed established protocol.
She called the IC for a briefing, then called the chief police to tell him what to do.
By personally directing operations BAS function as a de facto incident commander in direct conflict with the city's emergency operations plan and national incident management system.
Protocols.
This breach of the chain of command prevented the incident commander from making crucial operational decisions.
Put DHS officers, FBI agents, and community members at risk and delayed immediate LAPD support.
This unprecedented political interference demands a federal investigation and a potential endangerment of federal personnel and obstruction of emergency response.
Well, do you really need an investigation, though?
I mean, I know that there are people out there who can't see this because it's, like, beyond their scope of understanding, but this is exactly what they wanted, folks.
Bet your bottom dollar it's all on purpose.
Sadly.

I'm your host, Craig James.
And, you know, we had a couple texts I want to get to real quick before we do our final segment here, God's grace is greater segment.
Somebody texted in and said, speaking of protests in Northern Colorado, they're planning protests at Lori Student Union on Saturday, June 14th at 10 a.m.
Coincidence coincides with the parade in Washington, D.C. with the riots in L.A. Seems this might escalate to more aggressive protest.
Things are getting quite intense.
That's CSU campus.
Yeah, so I told you, yeah, they're bringing it here to Colorado.
So there you go.
And also, somebody texted in and said, the Bible has stated they will become of one mind in these last days.
Wake up in there.
Yeah.
No, I agree.
I think that's what we're seeing.
It's all biblical, and that's why we always end with Scripture.
We bring you back to Scripture to refocus and send you with some hope and encouragement.
We're in the book of James.
We've made it to chapter 2, and we're reading from verse 5, and I want to read all the way up to verse 13. Let's read this.
It says, Don't the rich oppress you and drag you into the courts?
Don't they blaspheme the noble name that was pronounced over you at your baptism?
Indeed, if you keep the royal law prescribed in the scripture, love your neighbor as yourself, you are doing well.
But if you show favoritism, you commit sin and are convicted by the law of transgressors, or as transgressors.
For whoever keeps the entire law yet fails in one point is guilty of breaking it all.
For he who said do not commit adultery also said do not murder.
So if you do not commit adultery, but you do murder, you are a lawbreaker.
Speak and act as those who will be judged by the law of freedom.
For judgment is without mercy to the one who hasn't shown mercy.
Mercy triumphs over judgment.
And I think that this is a point that's being made specifically in regard to understanding the sacrifice made by Christ on the cross for us.
It was God's mercy.
That His grace and His Son's sacrifice that saved us.
So we who are under the law, and we're under the law, have to act in a way that is commiserate with what mercy's been shown to us.
And I think that's how we can look at this.
And this is why we have to have compassion and understanding for some of these people who are so lost.
Because no matter what happens in this world, the way I always look at it is things are going to happen in this world that are going to be out of our control.
There's going to be transgressions.
There's going to be hardships.
But I'll tell you this.
In the end, we're all going to face the same judgment.
And a part of that judgment is going to be understanding how we lived our lives.
Did we show mercy?
Did we show compassion?
We should try to do that while also rebuking evil in all of its forms and standing firm in the faith.
So that's what I call on you guys to do.
And if you guys haven't accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, I always make this invite.
Open your hearts, say a prayer, call upon His name, accept Him as your Lord and Savior.
But that's it for me.
We'll be back tomorrow.
God willing, same time, same place.
I hope you guys have a great day.
We'll be back tomorrow.
Until then, I'm your host, Craig James.
